New people who are in business, how can they start a business? The biggest thing is, like I belong to a lower-middle-class family, but I am afraid to do business. What if there is a loss? Meaning, that fear, sir, it's not going away. Fear of what? What will happen if I fail? Yes, what will happen if I fail? So, is there anyone among you who has overcome this fear, who can relate to them, and wants to tell them? Yes, please tell. Take the mic, you tell them. When the idea of doing business came, the first thing I did to overcome the fear was that I did it myself. When I started, for approximately 3 years, I didn't hire any employees. Everything by me: manufacturing myself, delivery myself, handling customers myself. So, self-confidence came that yes, I can do this. Okay? Then, after that, I hired employees. So, regarding their fear, that they should start very small. Tell us a little about yourself. What did you do before? Were you working a job, where did you work? What was your salary? And then, after that, when you did something of your own, what did you do, and with how much investment? Tell us a little about your background. I had done a diploma in retail. I started my career in retail with Shopclues. Lastly, the last job I did, I gave 10 years to Mahindra & Mahindra Group. I was in Mahindra Retail as a Senior Manager. After that, after the lockdown, our company closed its balance sheet. So, they gave us 3 months' stipend and said goodbye. Then, it was coming to our mind, what should be done? What should be done? We didn't have much money. We took a very small loan of a lakh. With that, I purchased raw material, machinery, etc. Of what? A flour mill. A flour mill. Yes. So, that came to around 50,000. We took about 20,000 worth of raw material. Then, we started from there. I started with only and only flour. And why a flour mill? Because you didn't have that background either. Your background was something else. You used to work in retail and all that. So, where did this come from, sir? It just came to my mind that a friend, meaning, we were just discussing. At the time our company was closing, it was coming to our mind, "Man, changing jobs again and again, facing setbacks, going to the bottom, and then starting again, it's very difficult. Let's do something of our own." While doing that, it suddenly came that let's do something related to food. But with food, it was like, we don't have that background in food, so we don't have much idea about it. How to employ people, how to make it ourselves, we don't even know. So, I just went to buy flour for my own home, and I thought, I saw that they had hired a good three-four people, they were working. So, it just came to my mind that, "Man, we can do this." The idea of a pharmacy also came, but for pharmacy, a license is needed. So, I did this, then studied about it a little, asked around, and felt that not many licenses are needed. Initially, FSSAI, etc., would be needed. So, we took that. After that, we started it. And for how long did the struggle last? Meaning, when did the income start coming? Sir, two and a half to three years. Two and a half to three years. The area where I am, the population is less there because it's a new area. Absolutely. Let me ask this in a different way. When you opened this flour mill, did you rent the place? Yes, I rented the place. And how much was the rent? At that time, 7,000. How long ago was this? 5 years. 5 years ago. 7,000 rent, plus your job was gone. That was gone anyway. You didn't leave it. It was gone. Gone. And on top of that, a loan plus this investment. So, on average, how much money used to come in a month when you opened it, and how did people find out? Did you do any ads, any promotion? Yes, I put up flags in my area. I put up flags, and people read them, so I got calls. Then, I requested those customers, like when two-four customers increased, I told them that I want to do some exhibition at your place, or put up some study material. So, luckily, at that time, in a particular society, there was a magician's show. Okay? So, I am basically from Bihar. So, my brand name is also somehow related to that. Okay? So, they, meaning, that same area name was a bit of a plus point for me. So, there was a magician's show. So, I promoted my brand there. I gave my advertisement in their flags. That cost me 500 rupees at that time. Okay? Then, I went on stage and spoke a little about my brand. Besides that, I distributed leaflets there. So, that gave a very good push. Then, I did the same thing with other societies. With very small amounts, 4,000, 5,000, not very large amounts. So, what was the monthly sale in the beginning? Sir, in the first month, there was a sale of around 80,000. 80,000 in the first month. And what was the margin in that? Around 20%. 20%. After deducting the rent. After deducting the rent. You started earning 16,000 from the first month. From the first month. Which is not bad. Because if you are earning 16,000 a month by investing a lakh. This is pretty good. Right? In the beginning. What is the current position? It's been 5 years since you've been doing this. 5 years. And now, what is your monthly sale? 8 to 10. 8 to 10 lakh. Yes. In which your margin is around 20%. 20%. Meaning, you save about 1.5 to 2 lakh rupees per month, after deducting all expenses. Yes. And now you have also hired some people. Now you have also hired some people. And is it your only outlet, or...? One outlet. One outlet. You can open more if you want. We can open. Yes. Secondly, I had another question. We always talk about customer retention programs in business. But there is also employee retention. Because the challenge I faced after hiring employees was that an employee would work for two months and leave. It affected me a lot. It didn't affect me much because I had worked at the ground level. So, if an employee left, you would take their place and do the work. I could. Which is very good. Because if you become dependent on employees, your business chances of closing increase a lot. But now the question is, an employee worked for 4 months, 5 months, and left. Why do employees leave? Sir, that's the question. It's not obvious. Tell me, many of you must be working jobs. How many are working jobs? Yes. So, when you leave a job, why do you leave? Yes. You tell me, if there is a job, suppose you are working in their company and you leave, why would you leave? What could be the reasons? Sir, there is a clear answer to this: salary. Salary increment. Number one, salary. Yes. So, what solution did you get from this? That if you are earning 1.5 lakh rupees per month, and suppose you are paying one person a salary of 10,000, so if you have three people. You increased their salary from 10,000 to 15,000. How much extra did it cost you? 15,000. From where was it deducted? From your profit of 1.5 lakh. But what benefit did you get? Now that employee will not leave. Number one. Number two, don't give it like fools, just giving them money without any reason, because it has no value. So, it must be connected to some kind of an incentive which is linked to performance. Meaning, what should you tell those employees? You are already getting salary for the work you do. Plus, for the work you are doing, you are getting this much incentive. If you work well. So, there you can also set your conditions. And you can create healthy competition among the three of them, who is doing well, who is not. Maybe you can also include customer feedback in between, whose customer feedback is better. So, whoever has it will also get an extra bonus. So, if these incentives are linked to performance, then the employee will also be retained. What you want, that also happened. Plus, you can also open multiple outlets. Because now a complete system has been formed. And any other reason for leaving a job? Growth is also another reason. Growth is in the sense that if someone is working for you, and if they feel that they are getting a better opportunity elsewhere, they will leave. If you were in their place, you would also do the same. So, what is wrong with that? Nothing. So, you need to see, in your work, do you need very expert people? The answer is no. So, what kind of people do you need? Hardworking people. Because this is all labor work. But the effort is not that much, as much as in some industries where the work is very intensive. It's not that much. Your business falls somewhere in between. So, what if you recruit unskilled workers in this, and see what the salary is in your industry? Because they are not going to switch to somewhere else suddenly. If they learned work from you for a year, and now they leave, or go somewhere else, then you need to see what the salaries are there. If you are paying more than that, and treating them better, giving them respect, they work at a particular time, so you are giving them overtime. If they need a holiday during the week or on a festival, you are giving it. If you have created a complete system like this and linked it with incentives and bonuses. Meaning, this is called fixed pay and variable pay. Increase the variable pay. Man, you work and take it. Take as much money as you want, why 10,000? Take 20,000. You also benefit from it. So, you designed the system in such a way that your sales increased from 8-10 lakh to 12 lakh. Their salary increased from 10,000 to 15,000 or 20,000. Now, why would they leave? Problem solved. So, treat employees as shareholders in your company. This doesn't mean making them partners in your business. Right? Did you get the answer to your question? Yes, sir, I got the answer. Now, you tell me, after hearing their story, did you get the answer to your question, or is there still some confusion or fear inside? There is still some fear. What is the fear? What if you copy their business model exactly? Where do you live? Bareilly. There, if you copy their business model exactly, what is the fear in that? One person is sitting in front of you who did it, and they became successful. In the same area, many people are doing the same business. Then, what about this? The thing is, you have to do that business differently. There can be a thousand ways to do it. So, now we have moved on to how to position a business, how to market it. But my question now is, there is a person sitting in front of you who started a business 5 years ago from a very small level. Today, that business is at a good level. They are earning 1.5 lakh per month. And if they do even better now, apply the things we discussed today, and expand further, they can earn as much as they want. There is no upper limit. What if, after this session, you talk to them and say, "Hey, let's do it together in Bareilly. You invest half the money, and I will invest half the money. Profit, half and half." Now, any problem? No. But let me tell you what the problem is. We feel ashamed. This is called fear of failure. Like, the session ends here. Now, I said it, you did it, but there is no fun in that. The fun is in thinking about it yourself and doing it yourself. Now, the question arises, why don't you do it yourself? Meaning, you are proposing to them. Like, when a boy proposes to a girl, many people are afraid, and there is a reason to be afraid there because they might get shoes thrown at them, and there could be a police complaint. But here, there is no fear. You are proposing to them for what? For business. But what is the risk in that? They will refuse. They will say, "No, I am not interested in doing it with you. I will do my own." What happened because of that? Your ego was hurt. Meaning what? Failure. A failure in which nothing was lost. So, we don't try. This is the root of the problem. We don't try. If you ask, you will get. If you try, doors will open. No one will suddenly appear in front of you and say, "Tell me what you want. I will fulfill all your wishes." If you make an effort, there are many paths. Right now, you have found a path. What is the problem you are seeing in this? Tell me. On your behalf, I will ask. If this gentleman gives you such a proposal, and if other people also give you proposals like this, because the benefit is not just theirs, yours too. Your work is also divided. You have also got free labor. Now, another point will come here. You will say, "I will get more labor, I will work there." So, if someone comes and tells you that I will work there, never make such a deal with them. Because that project will fail even before it starts. What is he doing? He is investing money, and then he will sit on your head. He will say, "Brother, why is the work not going on?" Tell him directly, "Brother, you have to run the work, and I will teach you. Money, half and half. Profit, half and half." Tell me, if this is the deal, will you do it or not? Give the mic once. 100% I will do it, sir. I got an opportunity to expand my franchise. My name will be known, moving from one place to becoming somewhat national. Tell me. We will deal after this session, outside. You said this just now, in the heat of the moment, but carefully. If you have listened to their story, they never shied away from working themselves for the first year or so. They were not ashamed to work, no matter how small the work was. You, who are working a job and are at a certain level in society, have a status, a name. What job are you doing now? I am in the IT sector, QA. So, this is a very clean job. And from there, you are coming here to get your hands dirty? It looks clean from the outside, but not from the inside. No. Satisfaction, of course, will not be here either. But now the question arises, how much money do you earn in your current job? 40. 40,000. Yes. So, in this business, it's not going to be like some miracle will happen, and you will earn a lot of money. He himself is earning 1.5-2 lakh rupees per month now. Meaning, at most, you can assume it will go from 40 to 60, 70, 80, and you will have to work more than you are currently working. Will that work? Really? Yes. But satisfaction is not coming here. Mentally, there is a lot of pressure. What kind of pressure? There will be pressure here too. Yes, there will be pressure here too. If you are running away from pressure, and thinking that I will do something in life where there will be no pressure, then it will happen. But only someone who is working in an IT company can understand this. How many are there? Speak with the mic. Is there pressure? Sir, I am currently working in the logistics industry, so the pressure is like, suppose I am doing some work, and some escalation comes in the evening, so we have to close it in the evening. Sir, if we don't close it, then our job stability, etc., there is pressure on that. Then, we see that our appraisal is also due. What if our manager is not happy with us, so he gives a low appraisal? So, we reach from 40 to 41,000, and we were thinking of 45,000. Our expenses are increasing, but the income is the same. So, there is a lot of pressure on our job stability. Sir, like me, I am currently working, and I have a plan to start a business. And I have thought of a very good business. But I am unable to start because my family, will they survive with me or not? So, sir, I just break down there, thinking, "I have to do a job, I can't do it." You are saying that pressure comes. Sometimes it happens that someone says, "This work has to be finished today. There is a deadline." And then, somehow, the work has to be finished. If it's not done, the people above create pressure. They will send wrong reports to the HR department. Because of that, your increment will not happen. Apart from that, there is office politics. Apart from that, you also have to satisfy the ego of the senior. If he is in a bad mood, his dog died at home, so he will vent his anger on you. If he had a fight with his wife, he will come and vent his anger on you. You have to tolerate that too. So, these are all the problems. But the problem you mentioned now is also going to come in business. Meaning, some work comes, and because of that, you have to do extra work. So, this will also happen in business. A customer will sit at 9 PM, what will you tell them? Will you refuse? No. Sir, there, my option will be that, like now, when I am the owner myself, I will have many options. Now, in a job, I am bound, I cannot do things. Like, if someone says, "I found this wrong, I want a refund." So, there, I am dependent on my seniors. I don't know if they will approve or not. But where I am the owner myself, I will quickly approve and satisfy my customer, and it will be closed. So, you said a little while ago that you have a business idea in mind, but you don't have the courage to take that step. So, what is that idea? Sir, it's about these plants. Like, you have planted plants here. The plants from our nurseries, etc. So, I am thinking of preparing saplings at my place, as I belong to a village and we have land. And then talk to market place officers, and then sell the saplings. Then, I feel, what if I get into business, and then our monthly salary of 40-50,000 doesn't come? Then how will the family survive? Or mother, father are getting old, so who will look after them? So, all these...
I am unable to start in the midst of the confusion. So right now, sir, my question is how do I start? In what way do I get into it? That is not the question. You people always ask the wrong question: "How do I start?" My question to you is, why start at all? The job is going well, life is going on. There is just one dissatisfaction. That dissatisfaction will also be there in business. If you have this misconception that everything will be fine in business, then that is nonsense. In business, there might be more problems than you are facing in your job right now. Because in a job, at least you know at the end of the month that this much money will come. I have to manage my expenses accordingly. In business, you have to take risks, right? So, on one hand, the income stops. On the other hand, there is the fear of losing the money you risked. Whether that money is yours, or you took it on loan. So it becomes a double-edged sword, doesn't it? So my question is, if we assume for a moment, and what is there to assume? The possibility is 99% that no matter how much we talk here, you will still do a job, not business. You won't take this risk. And when I am saying it, I am not talking about you. I am talking about what happens statistically. Because there is no drug bigger than a salary that you get at the end of the month. So as soon as you start a business, for 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, no salary will come into your account. Money will go out instead. Then, if you have taken a hasty step, you will panic, get scared, and go back to your job. So why do such a thing at all? That is the question, the real question that I need to ask you. Later, you ask me what is the problem if you don't do business and keep doing a job. What is the problem? Just do the job. Why do business? After 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, 5 years, what will happen? The salary that is ₹40 today, let's say, will increase to ₹60-70. Inflation will increase. No problem, you can manage your expenses accordingly. What is the problem? But sir, we are already doing a job, but AI is coming into all industries, sir. For example, the work I am doing, AI will start doing it after a few days. I know this. So sir, after that, we will have no value. So I think that if I also have my own business along with it, then I will grow further. Otherwise, sir, I will stop right there. So are you trying to say that if I don't leave my job now, they will fire me from my job? And after that, I don't know if I will get a job again or not. So it's a do or die situation. So if you have reached this zone where now, no matter what, I have to do business. I have to do something of my own. Then it makes sense to talk further. Sir, I am in that condition, I have to do it. Now, no matter what happens. Even if my family gets angry with me or they don't agree or whatever they do, but I have to do it now. Why will the family get angry? If you talk to the family. Go and ask the family, "Brother, I don't have a solution for this. If you have one, tell me." Sir, the family background is that of a farmer father, so he doesn't know much about this world. So I cannot take advice from him. So, according to what he says, it's fine. Meaning, taking advice from him won't be very good for us. So it's not appropriate for me to take advice from him. Okay, tell me one thing, your background is farming. So do you have your own land? Yes. How much land would it be? Around 40 bighas. Where is the 40 bighas? UP, Hardoi. So why don't you do farming? Farming involves more hard work. Working in the sun all day and staying in the fields. It's not like a flour mill. It is in the flour mill, sir, but there won't be sun from above. And sir, there is also this today that the stray animals roaming around, because of all of them, even if we prepare the crop. For example, my father prepared the crop. What happened one day? Stray animals were roaming. They gathered together and ruined it all at once. So sir, all my four months of hard work ended in one day. So sir, there too, there is 0% chance. So, on your land, can you set up a polyhouse or not? Have you ever heard of it? You must have heard. Polyhouse is not allowed there, sir, where, you know, barbed wire and all that are not allowed there. Polyhouse is not allowed. No, because sir, the animals can get hurt, so they don't allow it. I am not talking about wire. I am talking about polyhouse. What is a polyhouse? You are talking about a covered type, sir? It is completely covered. It's like a tent. But sir, crops also need sunlight. They need everything. The crop is prepared according to that, sir. So say that, I don't know what modern farming is. Sir, I don't know about modern farming. So farming is already being done by your family. Hmm. But is the farming technology from 50 years ago, the way farming was done, is it still the same everywhere in the world? Or has the world moved on somewhere, and you are still in the same place? Sir, we are still in the same place. The world has moved on. Understood? This is the root of the problem. So you have land. Land is like a gold mine. Like an old song. I am sure you must have heard it. Tell me which one? "Mere desh ki dharti sona ugale, ugale heere moti" (My country's land yields gold, yields diamonds and pearls). But today, if you learn modern farming, and for that also you can search on YouTube. You can see how people all over the world are farming. How to get maximum output at minimum cost. How to get multiple yields? In which the possibility of crop failure is very low. The quality is consistent, and the chances of success are very high because this is your background. So you can learn faster than someone who doesn't have that background. Sir, the mindset of people there is also farming. So all those around are doing farming. So if you modernize it, there is a village in Rajasthan. I don't remember the name. There are many polyhouses. One person started it, and today everyone in that village has the best cars, the best houses, and a lot of money. So you can go to that village. Go and see. Do you know what the problem is? The root. We don't have a learning mindset. We have an earning mindset. We want money quickly. Whether it comes from a job or business, it doesn't matter. We want money. Where is all the focus? On money. Not on learning. How do we learn? No one has taught that. So if the focus shifts to learning, and the mind opens, then learn. How is it done? You already have the land. And for this type of farming, you also get subsidies from the government. Income is also tax-free. What better business could there be? And right now, let's say you are generating an amount of money from one bigha. Approximately how much would you be earning? After deducting expenses, how much is left at the end? Sir, from one bigha in 3 months, approximately ₹400. In 3 months, ₹400. That's after deducting expenses. Yes, after deducting. You will also have to hire labor, right? Yes, so sir, if you have to hire labor, then the cost will be higher. If you include that in the cost, then ₹400 is left. That means about ₹1 lakh per year. Yes, ₹1 lakh from one bigha. So, this means your annual income, you said you have 40 bighas of land. Yes. So you are already earning ₹40 lakhs per year. But sir, we are not able to do it. To do 40 bighas at once, you need people. So there are only two people in the house, me and Papa, so they can't do it. We have given it to others, and they do it, and they give us rent or a little bit of crop. That's it. So some land is with you, some is kept aside. Yes, a little bit is kept. Sir, currently, about 10 bighas are being managed by Papa. So if you tell your Papa to give me five bighas, I will do it on five bighas, my way. No problem, sir. He will say take it all. But the problem is, how will we start? What will we do there? Because I don't know much about farming. So I will have to learn modern farming, sir, before doing it. So if you don't know, then learn. Sir, until now, I didn't even know that modern farming exists. You told me today. You see what the root of the problem is. You are afraid of learning. And what have I said in my various sessions? Those who learn are alive. Those who stop learning are living corpses. So it will sound bad to hear. But many of you are like zombies. Who have stopped learning. Stopped upgrading yourselves. Afraid of learning. Even at this age, I am constantly learning something new every day, and every night I ask myself, what did I learn today? If I learned nothing, the day was wasted. 3 years ago, I was completely outdated in this word called business. In the last 3 years, I have upgraded myself at least thousands of times. Or you could say, my understanding of business until 3 years ago has completely changed. So if I can learn, even when I don't need to learn. There is no financial problem. Who will fire the owner of the company from the job? Plus, my age is also much older than yours. So if I can learn, then what is the difficulty for you in learning? Learn it. What is difficult in this? Or it was like the old days when there was only one channel on TV. There was only one program. They used to talk about the same things. Work doesn't happen that way. Today, the whole world is connected. You can see what is happening all over the world while sitting here. What are the schemes for farmers from your state government? What kind of loans are being given? How can you avail those schemes? What are others in India doing in this way, meaning, actually, from whose land gold is coming out, what are they doing? How are they doing it? And I saw a video on YouTube where a journalist went to them. I don't remember the name again. There is a village in Rajasthan. They were repeatedly saying in this video that if any farmer brother is from anywhere, they are all welcome. They should come here, see, learn from us, and go and do something of their own because what problem does it cause us? So the problem is just this: your thinking is old. Clothes are new, but thinking is old. So upgrade your thinking. Make your thinking new. The same concepts of farming are still in your mind that were there before. The world has moved on somewhere else. So, from all the discussions we have had so far, has there been any benefit? Sir, I understand that I have to learn modern farming now and move forward with it. And are you feeling scared thinking about this, or are you enjoying it? Sir, now I am enjoying it. I was scared before. Tell me, what is more enjoyable than this? That you start something from scratch, you don't know how to do it, you learn it, and you become an expert in it. What else is the meaning of life if not growth? Look at the entire universe, everything that is alive is growing. Yes, a stone is static, or something that is dead is static. Everything that is alive is growing. So why do we stop? Thinking about this should be enjoyable. I am enjoying just thinking about it. If I were in your place, I would be enjoying it so much that, okay, now I will go here, I will go there, I will see what is happening all over the world. I will watch videos. I will completely immerse myself in it for the next one or two months. I won't leave my job. I won't leave my job for the next one or two months. Three months. Yes, if they fire me, that's a different story. Then the work will be even better. Because if they fire you now, you are free. Go wherever you want. And learning is not a big deal for you. It's in your DNA. As I feel, the day you start feeling it, that is the key to growth. What is life without challenges? Just eat, drink, excrete. Eat good food, make it dirty, and create chaos in the whole world. That's what you people are doing. You are just consuming and consuming. And making this planet worse and worse. If you can do this properly, it's not just about money. You have upgraded. What are you now? It will sound harsh to hear, but it's the truth. If you are doing a job now, in English it's called an employee. What is it called in Hindi? Say it, it feels strange. What website do you go to to upload your resume? It's LinkedIn. So why does it feel so bad to say it? Why do you run away from your identity? So what are you now? A servant. What have you become now? If you connect with the land and do all this, then you become an Annadata (giver of food). Sir, along with this, my father also has a dairy farming business, milk. So he has received awards from the government many times. He has contributed a lot in the milk industry, and he is also a farmer, so he has received good awards for sugarcane and all that, saying that you have contributed a lot. Now tell me, what is the problem? Now, after all this discussion we've had, as soon as you go out, you'll rub the same tobacco and lime and eat it. Meaning, "Yes, okay, sir. When we come inside and sit with you, we get energy. But outside, sir, we don't understand anything. What to do, sir?" Will you do the same thing, or will something change? Sir, it has to change because, in the coming days, everyone has to leave here. So we have to change. There is no option. Now we have to change. Now there is only one choice: either change by your own will, or sit and cry. As if AI is going to care. AI will say, "Oh, poor fellow." So what did we learn from today's session? Anybody who wants to sum it up? Yes, give them the mic. Basically, if we want to start something new, then first of all, our basics should be clear about which perspective, which business, or which line we want to go into. He mentioned nursery, so a point also came to my mind that his father is doing so well in dairy farming. He does it on 10 bighas of land. He rents out 30 bighas to someone else. So if he opens a nursery in coordination with his father, then business will become easier for him, and he will get a partner who will give him lifelong work. Yes, but there is a problem with nursery, isn't there? It's a new world. Yes, that's true. Understood? So instead of getting into that, why not do something in the old world where there is experience? Meaning, do you understand why I told him this? Why did I object to the nursery? There is a reason. It sounds very good. But how to make money in a nursery? They will make it and bring it here to sell. So are people here fools? They will say, "Brother, if we sell this plant for ₹200, it costs us ₹30. How much will you sell it for? ₹20. It will cost ₹20 for travel, so it costs ₹40. So that idea will fail even before it starts. Understood? That's why I didn't talk much about it. I directly went to that one. Tell me, anybody else who wants to sum it up? Whatever I said today. Yes, give them the mic. So it is important that we keep learning something new in our field, in which we are already working, about which we know. Plus, what else can we enter into to expand it? By slightly changing our own skills, what else can we do, keep learning a little bit. And I want to say one thing on his point: as he mentioned that in his area, no farmer or any area has adopted modern farming yet. So if he spends two months learning that thing, then there is a chance for his business that he will make everyone in his area adopt modern farming. Meaning, I will control your farm for two months and implement modern farming technology on it. And the biggest plus point in this business is that we don't even have to retain customers. Once you have set it up and given them modern farming, then you leave them and move on to new customers. So he will find the most customers in his own area. So this is a different business model. Meaning what? What he is saying, you have done a kind of lining work. You have done a kind of agent work. You are saying that I know modern farming, and I have figured everything out. Which government scheme is it, how to get a loan, where to get the materials, where to get the machinery. And here is my prototype. Meaning, you have made one in a small area on your farm and shown it, and run it for a year. After that, you go to the other farmers, some of whom are small and some are big, and tell them, "I will set up your entire system, and your margin will be 20-30%." This can also happen. Let's say it costs ₹1 lakh to set it up, then you will get ₹1 lakh in it because the company whose material it is will give you a commission. So this can also happen. And sir, the farmer whose setup you are doing can also pay you in a second way, that you are bringing him into modern farming, so he will also pay you. This can be a business model. Meaning, if you gain confidence on your own land once, which you don't have now. Because of which you are giving your land to someone else to farm at a very low rate. So if you gain confidence once that I can earn ₹5 lakhs a year from here, not ₹1 lakh. Then what will you say next time to all the other farmers? "I will do whatever needs to be done on your land without you doing anything, because your children have moved out, and you are old. I will do whatever needs to be done on your land, as it needs to be done. You have given me your land on rent. It's my responsibility to do whatever needs to be done on your land." I will give you ₹50,000 per year per bigha. And if you have figured out how to earn ₹5 lakhs from there, then for every farm, if you have hired five-ten people at ₹2000 each. Let's say even if you remove ₹1 lakh and there are some other factors beyond your control, due to which if the earning from one such farm is ₹1 lakh in a year, then how many such farms can you have? How big a business can be built? I don't see any upper limit anywhere. So I am not telling you to do this or not to do that from anywhere. I am honestly sharing with you my own thought process. If you were in my family, my younger brother, and came to me for advice, what would I say? I would say, "Brother, there is no need to be afraid. Do this, because the risk is very low, and the opportunity is very big. Wish you all the best."
