I get there. I know the answer.
We are going to start with a peak state. Go crazy for about 10 seconds. On the count of three. Here we go. Ready? 1, 2, 3.
[Music] [Applause]
Come on, let's get you. Oh, yes. Get a couple high fives if there's somebody with you and just get virtual ones if there's not. Yes. Fantastic. Well, welcome everyone to RPM training. If you're not excited, you're in the wrong place because this is going to be an absolute blast.
Now, I noticed on the slide it said introduction to RPM. This was going to be an introduction. Well, I got to tell you, it's going to be way more than an introduction. We've got about 8 hours of content that I'm going to cover in two. So, you better fasten your seat belts. Better fasten your seat belts and get ready for an amazing ride.
For those of you that I don't know yet, my name is Tad Shinki. I am the head trainer for Tony and I could not be more excited to be here with you. I've been around Tony for almost 30 years. Doesn't seem possible, but that is true. Just by way of very quick background, I graduated from West Point. I patrolled the East West German border as an officer way back when there was a border to patrol. I have had a number of different corporate jobs. I got my MBA from the University of Chicago. I worked at a big bank in Chicago. I was president of an investment company. I was the business manager for a Russian comedian. I've had anything but a straight line path to where I am right now. But as I said, there is no place, no place I'd rather be than right here, right now.
So, you know the deal. We're going to start with some rules of the game. Now, I know many of you, if not all of you, have been on these calls before or have been on a call that Tony was involved with in some way. But as we know, repetition is the mother of skill. All right? Repetition is the mother of skill.
And first, I already said it, state is everything. Your state makes all the difference in the world. So you got to be in a peak state all the time. Sit up, breathe deeply, drink some water, whatever you got to do, manage your state and keep yourself in a peak state.
Secondly, total focus. Total focus. So, you know, turn off the television, turn off your phone, turn off anything else that could be a distraction and focus on this because this training is a foundational tool for everything that Tony does. Total focus.
Number three, take notes. All right, that's an obvious one, but take notes like you're going to teach this to somebody else. One, because you'll get it in your mind in a different way, but two, you're going to want to teach it to other people and so you can embrace it fully and completely.
And now I know, uh, let's, let's just do a quick poll here. How many people have been exposed to RPM before today? All right, raise your hand. Wave at me. Come on. If I can't see you, still wave at me. It makes no difference. And so some of you haven't been. That's fine. I'm going to talk right now to the people that have been because you want to approach this training like it's your very first time. Approach it like it's your very first time because when you do that, you'll have a different experience because if you sit there and say, "Oh, I know this. I know this. Oh, I know this." You're not going to get much of anything. So be on the lookout for what it is. Minor distinctions because we've heard Tony say that so many times. Two millimeter shifts can change your course of your destiny. So approach this, take notes. Whether this is your first time being exposed to this or it's your 199th time, approach it like it's your very first time.
And last but not least, you got to follow through. We're going to give you some assignments here at the end and you must follow through. Common sense is not common action. You may be sitting there taking notes say, "Oh, that makes sense. I, I understand that. Oh, that makes sense. I understand that." But you got to do something. And doing something during this session is taking notes, engaging meaningfully, raising your hand, shouting out answers. It doesn't make any difference if I can't see or hear you. This is for you. But you got to engage fully. And then once this training is over, you got to take action. You got to take action. Everybody up for taking action. Raise your right hand and say yes. Yes. All right. Fantastic.
So, how about let's talk about some outcomes because we got some biggies here, people. You're gonna learn Tony's foundational tool for RPM. You're going to learn Tony's foundational tool, which is RPM. And it's going to help you to lead and experience the level of fulfillment in your life that you maybe didn't even imagine was possible. And you're going to do that by tapping into the emotional juice that is the driver of all things that you accomplish.
Number two, we're going to embrace this system of thinking because that's really what RPM is. RPM is a system of thinking. And so we want you to actually fully embrace this system of thinking. It's and we're going to talk about it in some pretty extensive detail and I'm quite confident that you're going to understand the system of thinking before we're done today.
And last but not least, we're going to talk about the power of chunking, which is taking many things and boiling them down into a few. And we're going to then identify key areas for you, not for anybody else, but for you that are going to take your life to the next level.
Now, one of the things Tony says is the why always comes first. The how you can figure out later, but the why has to come first. You have to tap into the emotional juice. Why is this a must? So, I'm going to cover some of the benefits of this training and of RPM at the highest level.
Number one, real results and accomplishment. Let me ask a question. How many people have gotten to the end of a day and you have been busier than, you know, a flea on a hot stove, but you get to the end of the day and you ask yourself, what did I accomplish? Did I accomplish anything? Did I get anything done on the things that are really important to me? And for many of you, my bet is the answer is no. But this is RPM is about getting real results and having some massive accomplishment along the way.
Number two, you get to maximize your choices and you have flexibility. This is one that sometimes confuses people because they think, "Oh, if I'm going to plan everything and I don't have as much flexibility." When you take control, when you are purposeful with what you're doing, you get a level of control that gives you the opportunity to have flexibility in ways that you might never have it any other way.
Number three is is my, uh, one of my favorites. It's fun. All right. Again, I don't care if I can hear you or whether anybody else is around. Say this with me. RPM is fun. Yes, there you go. RPM is fun. And say it with a little energy and excitement. RPM is fun. All right.
Now, one of the reasons it's so much fun is because it's actually focused on what's important to you. It's actually focused on what's important to you as opposed to what is important to other people. How many people have gone through their day and at least at some point during their day, they have had this experience that why am I working on everybody else's tasks? Anybody else ever experienced that? Raise your hand. Come on. Yes. Okay. That's a very common thing when you don't take control of your time. Here's the great truth. You can take control of your time or somebody else will. And so, I encourage you to take control of your time so that other people aren't doing it for you.
Number four, it reduces stress in your life because you, you get rid of this overwhelming to-do list that is, you know, infinitely long and often times, often times things on your to-do list are in the zone of distraction. They really aren't important and they aren't urgent. But sometimes the little mind will go to things that is are are easy but not really productive. I'm not going to ask you to raise your hand if that's ever happened to you because I'm, I'm sure it hasn't happened to anybody else on this call besides me.
And number five, you get more time for what's really important. You get more time. What's really important because the whole foundation of RPM is about doing what is important to you. Doing what is important to you. All right.
So, if you are ready and excited to deep dive into the deep end of the pool again, raise that right hand and say yes. Fantastic.
All right. So, as I said, RPM is a system of thinking that creates extraordinary results and an amazing level of fulfillment. And you know, if you weren't already aware of this, Tony created this for himself. In fact, it was probably 1995, uh, before some of you were born. I get that. Uh, but that's okay. 1995, uh, Brenda, my wife, and I were in Hawaii going through the old version of Life Mastery, which was a marathon, I will say, nine consecutive days from 7 in the morning to at least midnight, sometimes 2, 3, 4, 5:00. And you know in the days when Tony was a total whack job as particularly as it related to time because now at least he will make some minor adjustments to the time. If he goes late, he'll push back the start time. Not then. We started at 7 a.m. every morning. Well, at 3:30 in the morning, I think it was on day four or day five. Tony comes out and he's got an overhead projector. Anybody remember what the overhead projectors looked like? Yeah. And he had these these film things that he was setting on there. And he was, I mean, there were probably 900 of us or so in the room, maybe 800. And and realistically, there maybe were 25 of us that were awake. Everybody else is just sound asleep, drool coming down the sides of their faces. And I tell you, it was a such a powerful moment for me because Tony came out on stage and he was delivering like he was delivering to an audience of a 100,000 people. The guy had more energy than I have ever seen. And I remember specifically nudging Brenda. She was trying to doze off. I said, "I don't know what this guy's got, but I want some of it." All right. I want some of it because this energy, this power, this charisma, this do whatever it takes is so mesmerizing and powerful.
Well, what he was talking about was the precursor to, to, you know, RPM, which was called OPA, outcome focused, purpose-driven action planning. Outcome focused, purpose-driven action planning. Tony created this for himself. He's got over a hundred companies now. He's got a new baby. He's got, uh, more friends than probably anybody else you'll know. And he uses RPM every single day to keep him focused on what's important and take his life to the next level.
Now, um, I just want to give you a little disclaimer here up front. You know, there's Tony has many definitions for his, uh, acronyms. RPM, rapid planning method, or results focused, purpose-driven, massive action planning. He's probably got another definition. I'm just not aware of it. But I want to just focus for a moment on this rapid planning method because that is the endgame. When you own this, when you have it in your body, when you are using it consistently over and over and over, it is, it makes everything go faster. And how many of you ever learned to ride a bike or drive a car? Anybody out there? Go ahead, raise your hand. Again, it doesn't make any difference if I can see you or not. Yes. When you first got on the bike or when you first got behind the driver's seat, was it an easy process? Did you just do it and go, "Oh, this is easy. I'm going to go for it. It's there's no effort to this whatsoever." Probably not. Probably not. Because you have to get it in your body. You have to own it. And and what I'm saying here is that you are going to have to invest some time upfront knowing that the return on your investment is going to be exponential. Spending time upfront, understanding the system of thinking, understanding the three key questions for RPM, you will gain so many benefits down the road. But initially, it is going to take a little bit of time and effort. So again, if you're willing to put forth some time and effort to own this, raise that right hand. Oh, and let's make it easier. Make more more challenging. Raise your left hand. Raise your left hand and say yes. Fantastic.
Now, here's the deal. I just told you how why Tony uses this and all that he's got going on and so on and so forth. Now, some of you may have lives that are as busy as Tony's, but we all lead busy lives of one kind or another. So, this is going to help all of you because here's the truth. Without a plan, our focus just goes to, pardon my language, hell in a handbasket. You know, I don't even know what that phrase means, but my parents always used to say it, so I'm going to use it here as well. Your focus will go to hell in a handbasket because you, you what will happen is you will focus and you'll feel immediate pain or you'll experience immediate pleasure because you don't, you know, go to what's really important. You go to what's easiest or what's going to make you feel the best or as I've already said, you're going to end up focusing on other people's demands.
Now, what's, what's the common denominator for the vast majority of planners out there? Anybody have an idea? Jot something in the, uh, in the, uh, in the chat box here. Yes, it's a list, but they're to-do planners. They're to-do planners. It's just a long list of 20 or 75 or 175 or 399, whatever it is, of things to do.
Now, I know many of you, uh, have have heard this before and it is so important. I want to remind all of you right now. What's the one thing? The one thing that distinguishes Tony's approach to planning versus what everybody else out there is doing? Again, jot it in the, uh, in the, uh, in the chat box. Come on. Results. Why? Those are good. Those are good answers. But if we chunk it up, if we chunk it up, the thing that is different for Tony is he brings emotion to it. He brings emotion to it.
Now, you know, here's, here's a good example of this. How many people have ever, uh, made a New Year's resolution? If you've made a New Year's resolution, raise your hand. Again, makes no difference if I can see you or not. All right. And how many of you actually accomplished your New Year's resolution? Probably way fewer of you than originally raised your hand. And why is that? Well, the reason there's lots of reasons, but the prime reason is when we make New Year's resolutions, it's a logical decision. All right. It's a logical decision and and we don't take action based on logic. We take action based on emotion. And that's why I hope you can sense just a little bit of excitement and emotion in my voice and in my body language because that's what distinguishes what Tony does from what so many other people out there doing. Emotion. And I'm going to remind you of that many times. You want to bring emotion to this RPM results focused purpose-driven massive action planning.
Now, what we know is people that are truly successful, that really take their life to the next level, they have three things in common. All right? They have three things in common. First of all, they know what they want. They know what they want. They, they are clear on the result that they're after. The second thing is they know why they want it. They know why they want it. It's the purpose, the why. And this is where we're really going to tap into the emotion. And finally, people who are successful and fulfilled have a massive action plan to make whatever that result is happen. And we're going to talk about each of those components. As I said, RPM is results focused, purpose- driven, massive action plan, or massive action planning.
Now, what's the quickest way to change your focus? Put it in the chat box. What's the quickest way to change your focus? All right, come on. Yes. Questions. Ding, ding, ding. Column goes to win. All right. Questions. Questions immediately shift your focus and they're so powerful and not surprisingly RPM is based on the questions on three key questions.
So what are the three questions of RPM? Number one, you obviously know it's going to have to do with the result. What do I really want? What's my outcome? What's the result? I'm absolutely committed to achieving no matter what. That's number one. Number two, what is my purpose? Why do I really want this? Why is this an absolute must? And last but not least, finally, we have the massive action plan. What am I going to do? What specific actions am I going to take? What have I got to do to accomplish this?
So, let's talk about each one of these a little bit more in in more detail. First of all, we've got the result. As I said, it's the specific measurable result or outcome that you want to achieve. It's not just an activity about what you're going to achieve. It's actually actions, things that you, you know, think something that you're going to do. And one of the things we we we do is we ask these questions. What do I really want? What do I really want? What's my outcome? What's my result? What's the specific result I'm committed to to make this happen? And we use the SMART acronym. I know many of you may be, uh, familiar with the SMART acronym. We got it on another slide further on down the way, but I can't wait. I have to share it with you right now. The S is specific. It's got to be specific. The M is measurable. Measurable. So, it's got to be measurable so that you know when you're there. Then the A is action-oriented. It's got to be something that you have to do that you're in control of because if it's got, if it's, you know, you're trying to get somebody else to do something, you can influence them, but it's got to involve you taking action. The R stands for realistic. Realistic. This one sometimes confuses people. This is individual to each and every one of you. Is it realistic for you? Because what might seem realistic to you might not seem realistic to somebody else. And here's why this is important. Because if you are going to focus on a result and when you think of it, your mind says to you, there is no freaking way you will ever accomplish that. If you are in that place, don't even focus on it as an outcome or as a result because you're never going to get there. It's got to be something when you say, now you could think of it and you could say, "Geez, I, I've, I've never done this before. I'm not certain how I'm going to get there, but you know what? I think it's actually doable for me to make it happen." And then last but not least is the T, which is time-defined. And what, what's important here is that you have a specific time that you have a specific time because the only way to achieve lasting success is to become a results manager and not an activity manager. You got to be a results manager. That's why we start by focusing on the results.
Now the purpose, this is the emotional juice. This is the emotional juice. You've got to have a powerful why this is a must. All right. Well, you know, some of the questions, what is my purpose? Why is it a must? Having accomplished this? How is this going to make me feel? What's it going to mean to me? Who have I become in the process? This is where we really want to tap into the emotions because as Tony also says, activity without purpose is a drain to a life of fulfillment.
And that brings us to the massive action plan, which you know Tony is so great at, uh, having, um, acronyms for things. And this is a map, MAP. All right, map. This is this is the actions. What are the specific actions that you could take that you could take? Because you want to start by just brainstorming. What are some actions that you could take to get you from where you're at to where you want to go? Um, and and let me just tell you a quick little story. Let's say your outcome was to get to Home Depot and you know you know are in your hometown but you live in a big town and there's five or six different Home Depots and you know where one of them is. So you have a result to get to the Home Depot on Central Street. All right. Well, if, if you don't have, if you know, if you just have it so specific that you are focused on getting to a specific Home Depot. Now, maybe there's a reason for it. But if you, what you want to do is you want to stay focused on the bigger picture. I need to get to Home Depot because I need to get, you know, some screws or nuts or bolts or fencing or boards or whatever the case might be. And you want to stay focused on the result and not get bogged down in the actions because you might drive past two Home Depots on your way to the one that you knew where it was, but if you just, you know, stayed focused on, hey, I want to get to Home Depot, you'd be able to get there much, much quicker. There's lots of ways to get to your result. And that's what sometimes people get so focused. They think there's one way and that is a path to sadness and living in a suffering state.
So, uh, as we think about the action items, we have the 80/20 rule, which, um, is is actually from an Italian economist by the name of Vilfredo Pareto. Um, and what the 80/20 rule says is that 80% of the success is usually comes from 20% of the actions. And there's an infinite number of places and ways you can apply the 80/20 rule. I'm sure most of you have, uh, have, you know, been familiar with it.
So, we're going to do an RPM block right now. All right. Now, I want to just let you know how easy this is. So, I'm going to grab a piece of paper and I'm going to draw, you know, in fact, grab a piece of paper right now. Grab a piece of paper. Put it on its side so it's, uh, it's, you know, horizontally, uh, uh, oriented. Draw a line across the top. Draw two lines down the page. So, you got three columns. And I'm, I'm showing you this so that you can see how easy this is. You can do this on a napkin. You can do this on a napkin. It is super, super easy and you should, you, you want to be because this again, this is a system of thinking. What's the result? Why is this must for me and what are the actions that I could do that would get me to where I want to go? All right.
So, uh, let's go ahead and and put up, uh, the slide for, uh, the, the RPM block. And the first thing is the result. All right, the result goes in the middle. The result goes in the middle. And we put a big circle around it because we want to be able to have the result. That's like a bullseye. It's a target. It's the focal point of everything. All right. And then as you say that, that you can see the SMART acronym is spelled out there for you. I'm sorry I couldn't wait to to reveal it until this slide.
The, the second thing we do, so what's the first thing we do? Shout it out. The result. Yes, come on. I can see some lips. Shout it out. The result is first. The second thing is the purpose. The second thing is the why. That goes on the right-hand side. Because when you know most, uh, you people from the, the western world read from left to right, our eyes naturally go to the right. That's why the purpose goes on the right-hand side of the page. And you know, as I said, there's questions there and the questions that we're going to use is you're going to, when we do this, what I'm going to encourage you to do is to get the result first, then step into that result as though it were already accomplished. Doing it in a fully associated way, feeling it, experiencing it as though it were a reality already. All right? And from that place, you're going to do the rest of the RPM block. The first thing that you're going to do after that is the purpose. And we're going to ask three questions. Having seen myself accomplish this result by, you know, June 1st, whatever the date was, seeing myself on June 1st, having accomplished this result, how does it make me feel? How does it make me feel? Second question, in who, what does it mean that I, that I made this happen? That I accomplished this? And last but not least, who have I become in the process? Who have I become? Come in the process. That's the purpose. And again, that's the emotional juice. That's the emotional juice. And you want to make sure you tap into the emotional juice. So the more you can come up with there, the better. The other thing I always encourage people to do in your purpose statement is to tap into others that are important to you. Because you've heard Tony and others say it many, many times, we frequently do more for others than we'll do for ourselves. So look at this from the perspective of somebody else is important. If you're a parent, kids are usually oftentimes a great place for this. You know, how's it going to make my, my, uh, kids feel as having seen me accomplish this task? What's it going to mean to my kids having seen me accomplish this task? Who will they have become in the process of seeing me accomplish this task? All right, that is the purpose statement, the emotional juice.
And then we go to the far left-hand side, which is the map or the massive action plan column. And this is where we, we just brainstorm. What are things that I thought about doing or actually did? Again, seeing yourself having accomplished the result. Have seeing yourself having already accomplished the result. What are some things that I did or thought about doing that got me from where I was to where I wanted to be on June 1st, whatever the case might be? And it's a brainstorm because you want to think, is thinking of some out-of-the-box ideas can be really helpful because when you think of things that are outside the box, it expands your your vision and you may then think of other things. Even you, you, it's kind of like brainstorming. When you, when you, uh, throw out an idea that's completely off-the-wall, it may not be an idea that you're actually going to do, but because you've expanded your vision, you might very well think of something else.
Now, um, let me give you a quick little analogy, uh, because the RPM block, I, the one of the ways that I, I like to help people understand it is by, uh, thinking about a pilot who is going to fly from Los Angeles to Chicago. Now, would a pilot, you know, even get in the plane if they didn't know their result? If they didn't know where they were going? No, of course they wouldn't. And their destination is their result. They must know the result. They absolutely must know the result. Now, if you were getting on a plane and flying from Los Angeles to Chicago, would you want the pilot to calculate the air miles from Los Angeles to Chicago and just put exactly that amount of jet fuel on the plane? No, trust me on that because air traffic control is going to reroute you and you know there's going to be storms and you're going to have to make, uh, you know, diversions and all kinds of craziness. So you want to put as much jet fuel on that plane as you possibly can. The jet fuel is the purpose. It's the emotional juice. You can't have too much jet fuel. And you can't have too much emotion in your purpose statement. If you're with me, wave at me. Wave at yourself. Awesome. You're doing a fantastic job, people. You got to be taking notes in taking this in again as if it was the first time you experienced it.
Now the last thing is the, uh, massive action plan. And so for the massive action plan, does the pilot have a checklist of all the things they're going to do before they take off during the flight? Yes, of course they do. Are there contingencies? They may have the checklist, but if you know one thing doesn't work, they've got probably three or four other ways to get that result that they're after. And another reason the, this, this analogy of a plane and a and a pilot is so powerful is because the truth is, planes are off course more than they're on course. And the only reason the, the plane gets to its destination is because the pilot says, or in today's world, it's, you know, largely computer, but the pilot says, "Oh, we're off course. We need to make an adjustment." "Oh, we're off course. We need to make an adjustment." "Oh, we're off of course. We need to make an adjustment." And they can only make those adjustments because they know where they're going. That's why the result is first. And you've got to have a clear result. Because the clearer your result, the, the smarter your result, the more specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and time-defined it is, the quicker you're going to get there, the easier the path is going to be. All right? It is unbelievably powerful.
Now, we're going to do a little demo. Anybody up for a demo? All right. Well, here's, here's what, here's what we're going to do. Um, and, uh, I'd like to go with, uh, our platinum partners or our inner circle folks primarily. Uh, and here's, here's what we're going to do. I'm going to use you to create an RPM block. All right, we're going to create an RPM block. And I'm looking for somebody who would like to lose some weight, would like to get more healthy. All right? And so, you know, and, and I'm going to language it to gain some lightness in their life. So rather than losing, you know, uh, 15 pounds, they're going to gain 15 pounds of lightness. So if you have an interest in putting together an RPM block for gaining some lightness in your life, raise, uh, raise your virtual hand. And I'm going to, I'm going to talk to a couple of people and, uh, and then we'll decide who we're going to do this with. Now, let me make sure to say this before I, uh, I, I get too far along here. Um, when we do this, I'm going to pick a person to do a demo with. You do this with me. Meaning, you know, you come up with whatever result. Doesn't have to be a health-related result, but you come up with a result. You know, use that, that blank RPM block that you created on a piece of paper or there's a fantastic workbook that you got for this session. Uh, you know, that's, that's also a, a great place to go and, uh, you, you know, you can, you can fill this out as you're going through for yourself because that way you can get it even more in your body. All right.
So let's go with Howard. Let's go with Howard. uh, uh, to, uh, to start. So, we can, uh, unmute Howard. Uh, and, uh, I don't know if it's Howard or Pitch who's gonna who's who's gonna to wants to potentially create an RPM block.
>> It's, it's Yeah, Howard Pitch.
>> Okay. Um, great. So, and, and I know I just, I just spoke to you, uh, you know, a few days ago, but, uh, I'm still gonna getting back in the swing of things here. So, um, tell me what is it, uh, how, how much lightness do you want to gain in your life, Howard?
>> I'd like to, uh, gain 15 pounds of lightness.
>> Okay. And why is this important to you?
>> It's important to me because I will feel better. I will, my clothes will fit better. It may be a must that I don't have to then spend money on new clothes. and, um, and it'll just raise the level of the massive momentum I already have.
>> Okay, beautiful. All right, as I said, I'm going to interview a couple of folks. Let's go with Brandon. Brandon Sills, come on down.
>> Right. U so I want, um, I'm looking at 9 and a half kilos, uh, within 3 months. I'm recovering from two major surgeries. I want that lightness. So when I get to see Tony again for the first time in about 17 years and you again as well, I'm going to be fit. I'm going to be strong. And I'm not going to suffer as much physical pain I am from the extra weight that I put on from my surgery. And that lightness to me is life or death because I'm struggling in my career, chiropractor, physio, and that the extra weight is too acidic and it's killing me.
>> Okay.
>> That's all I got.
>> Beautiful. That's fantastic. You, you answered. I didn't even have to ask you a question. You answered all the questions. That was that was wonderful. Brandon, uh, let's talk to one more person. Let's go with Channy. Come on down.
>> Hello. So, uh, how much lightness do you want to gain, Channy?
>> 42 pounds of lightness.
>> 42 pounds of lightness.
>> Okay. Excellent. And, and why is that important to you?
>> Uh, I have five children and my energy level has depleted over the years and between business and doing everything else I do, I just my energy level needs to become to come up to be as active with my kids and stay active in my businesses. So,
>> Okay. Excellent. Um, you know, this is a question just a curiosity question. Thank you very much, Channy. I'm going to make a decision here in just a just a second. Uh, I'm curious, uh, how many, uh, of my platinum partners were at the event, uh, last week? Any anybody, uh, anybody at the event? I, I, I just, I had to, I meant to connect with all of you sooner, and, and Howard, you know, provided the, the, uh, entree to that. I mean, I've been going to plat events for, you know, 10, 15 years. That was the best event in the history of the universe. All right.
So, um, well, now here's the deal, people. I, I, if I don't pick you, it doesn't mean anything, okay? Other than I didn't pick you. It doesn't mean that you're not going to be successful in life. It doesn't mean that you're going to, you know, be living out of a cardboard box under the viaduct of some highway. Uh, it doesn't mean anything other than I didn't pick you. All right? So, I just want to give people that, uh, that, uh, frame of reference. Uh, let's go with Channy. Let's go. Come on back, Channy. Give it up for Channy. Come on. Let Channy hear you. Come on. Come on. Y. Yes. There we go. Fantastic.
Now, uh, what we're going to do is, uh, just so others can see it, uh, as we're going through this, uh, we're going to, we're going to capture this, uh, on a, a, a page and, and, uh, you, Channy, all you need to do is just go through the process as I take you through it. Um, because we're going to capture all the information. So, you don't have to worry about, uh, whether you, you know, you're going to remember it all. And your other than conscious mind as is usual is going to remember it all anyway. But we are going to have it for you in a document and we can, uh, we can get it to you, uh, after, uh, after the session today. All right.
So let's come back to your result because we always start with a result. Um, and, you know, what, how would you characterize your result statement?
Um, my outcome to be, uh, 42 pounds lighter than I am now.
>> Okay. And by what, what time frame?
>> In six months.
>> Okay. Excellent. So, here's going to be my suggestion and I, I didn't mention this before, uh, and this is applies to everybody. My suggestion when you create RPM blocks is to do your best to limit them to 30 days to 60 days. All right? And the reason for that is because you want to be able to to see some progress. And so, you know, six months, uh, you know, is is a long way. And if we go with the 42 pounds of lightness, Channy, um, you know, we get so focused on that, we don't realize that, hey, we lost two pounds this week, we lost five pounds this week, we lost another four pounds this week. Um, and so that's why I'm going to suggest for you, and really for everybody, let's start with a 30-day goal. So, I know your longer term goal is 42 pounds of lightness. So, what's, what's a, what's a 30-day goal? What's a 30-day goal sound like for you?
>> 15.
>> Okay. 15. And, you know, that's, that's a really reasonable kind of number, uh, for most people because, you know, 15 pounds is seven and a half pounds, uh, every week and 3.75 pounds, uh, or every, every other week, every two weeks, and 3.75 pounds in a week, which is, is, you know, pretty, pretty doable for, for most people. It's a good starting point. So, um, what we're going to say then is to gain 15 pounds of lightness by, what's, uh, what's today? Today's the 10th. And I'm, I always suggest to people to go with a specific date. So, are you okay if we go with April 10th, or is there some day in April that has special meaning for you? Because if it's true, let's go with that.
>> Uh, April 10th is a good, I like it.
>> Good starting point. Okay. Excellent. So, um, you can see on the, the screen hopefully that we're going to gain 15 pounds of lightness by April 10th, 2022. How does that feel, Channy?
>> Feels good. Feels good.
>> Perfect. All right. So, here's what I'm going to suggest you do, Channy, is that you stand up. All right. Stand up. Don't worry about your camera. Uh, you know, uh, and, and what we're going to have you do is, uh, is close your eyes. And again, we're taking these notes. Now, remember everybody, you guys can do this yourselves. Ask yourself these questions and write, you should already have written a result for yourself, uh, on your, your RPM block, and then write the answers to the questions as I take Channy through this. So, by the time we're done, each one of you will have an RPM block. Is everybody clear on that? Raise your right hand. Say yes. Yes. Come on, people. I need some energy there. All right.
>> In fact, in fact, let's, uh, let's help Channy out. Uh, we're gonna just go for five seconds. We're going to go crazy. All right. So, you know, everybody should stand up. You're going to move your body. Go, you know, shake the, the, the walls, make the, the lights, uh, flicker, whatever it takes. Wake up the neighbors, the kids. Have the neighbors call the police. All right, on the count of three, just for 5 seconds. Here we go. Ready? One, two, three. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. All right.
>> Now, everybody, you should be going through this process and, and, you know, experiencing it in your body and then jotting down notes as you go. All right? And, and Channy, I'm going to have you close your eyes just so you can really get fully associated.
>> Okay.
>> So, uh, are you, can you, can you still hear me, Channy?
>> I can.
>> Awesome. I just wanted to make sure I could hear you as well. All right. With your eyes closed, see yourself April 10th of 2022, having gained that 15 pounds of lightness. In fact, maybe you've gained even more than that 15 pounds of lightness, but you accomplished this result. See yourself April 10th having done it. And see yourself stepping forward in time to April 10th. Feel it and see it and experience it in every cell of your body and feel how great that feels.
>> You did it. You made it happen. Now from that place, seeing yourself having done it, celebrating your success. Tell me, how does that make you feel, Channy?
>> Excited.
>> Excited.
>> Accomplished.
>> Fantastic. Excited and accomplished. Again, you're doing a fantastic job. Seeing yourself April 10th, 2022, having gained 15 pounds of lightness or maybe even more. What does it mean to you? What does it mean to you that you made that happen?
>> Uh, it means that I have followed through on what I plan to do.
>> Yes, you followed through on what you plan to do. What else does it mean?
>> It means that I can go get some new clothes, just a little bit.
>> Yes, you can go get some new clothes. What else does it mean?
>> It means that my energy level, my knees should feel better. My energy level should start improving. Has improved. Has improved.
>> Means your energy level is improved. It means your, your, your body feels better. Your knees don't have as much stress on them. That's fantastic. You're doing amazing. You feel accomplished. You feel excited. You feel that you've, you're taking your life to the next level. Seeing yourself April 10th, 2022, who have you become having made this this reality?
>> A happier mom, a happier businesswoman. Um, more engaged with my kids doing activities outside of the house. Um, being more aware in my head.
>> Okay, fantastic. A happier mom, a happier business person. You've become more engaged in other activities. You've gotten out of your head. Tell me right now, how does that make you feel having done this, having made it happen?
>> Strong.
>> Strong.
>> Strong.
>> Beautiful. Beautiful. All right. Excellent. You're doing a fantastic job. Continue with your eyes closed. And now just quickly think about this from your kids' perspective. What is it going to, how are they going to feel having seen their mom take their, you know, make this happen? Having gained 15 pounds of lightness. What's going to, how's it going to make them feel?
>> Excited because they, when mom has energy, they have energy. They want to do more things, get out and accomplish.
>> Beautiful. H how else is it going to make them feel?
>> Probably like, "What is going on, mom?"
>> Yeah. And how cool when your kids ask you like, "What the heck is going on, mom? What the heck got into you?"
>> Right.
>> That's going to be awesome. What's it going to mean to them? Again, seeing yourself, uh, April 10th, 2022, having gained 15 or more pounds of lightness. What's it going to mean to your kids having watched you make that happen? Make them actually feel like they need to go out and be more accomplished and start doing the same things. Kind of take control and get out of their head.
>> Yes.
>> Their mom doing it as a role model and that way that makes things better.
>> Yeah. How awesome does it feel to be able to be a role model for your kids and a positive one? Unfortunately, I was oftentimes a not so great role model for my kids, but how cool is it to feel be a positive role model for your kids?
>> Feels good.
>> Feels great. Amazing.
>> Wonderful.
>> And who, who will your kids become having watched you make this a reality?
>> Go-getters.
>> Go-getters.
>> Do want to be somebody who goes out there and says, "Mom can do it. I can do it. We can do it as a family." Beautiful. Beautiful. Go-getters. Fantastic. You're doing an amazing job, Cheney. You're doing a fantastic job. All right.
So, let's, let's, uh, move on to the massive action plan column. Let's move on to the massive action plan column. All right. And this is now again, seeing yourself April 10th, 2022, having gained 15 or more pounds of lightness, having made this a reality. What are some things that you did or maybe you just thought about doing that helped get you from where you were to now 15 pounds lighter on April 10th? Just brainstorm.
>> Brainstorm. I'm getting up in the morning, uh,
Working out first in the AM. And >> Working out first in the AM. Excellent. Getting it done. Um, I did I've already signed up with Billy Beck. So, I would like to uh be walked through it in stages. I've uh focused on what I'm eating, how I'm eating, what I'm putting in my body, how much water I'm drinking. I've ordered all the equipment I need.
>> Excellent. What else did you either do that got you 15 pounds of lightness or did you think about doing, seeing yourself having already made it a reality?
>> I've made plans with my kids to do stuff that we can do together as a family. It's more action-oriented. We have kayaks. So going out on the creek and kayaking with them, getting out in the water, doing it every morning, planning my evenings before so that I know what I'm doing the next morning. Drinking that gallon of water every day.
>> Beautiful. You're on a roll. You're doing fantastic. What are some other things you either did or thought about doing?
>> I bought a bikini so that I had a goal.
>> Okay. Right.
>> I'm looking better in it already.
>> Nice. Fantastic. Excellent. Excellent. Anything else? Again, seeing yourself April 10th, 2022, having gained that 15 pounds of lightness, anything else comes to you as it relates to actions that you thought about doing or that you actually took to make that a reality?
>> I'm reading more books to implement my mind. I've read more books to get me on that path so I understand what I'm doing so that it gets in my body and I understand the reasons behind the things that I'm doing.
Beautiful. Beautiful. And again, one last time, seeing yourself April 10th, 2022, having gained 15 or more pounds of lightness, how does that make you feel?
>> Ecstatic and strong.
>> Yes. Ecstatic and strong. All right, go ahead. Open your eyes. Everybody give Channy a huge round of applause. Come on, let her hear you. Let her see you. Let her feel your energy. Come on. Excellent. How many people noticed a change in her as she went through this process? All right. Yes. And how many people felt the emotion that she was bringing to this process? Yes. Of course. And that's why she is in a completely different place. You can go ahead and grab a seat now and tell me what, what's the, what's the likelihood that this is going to happen.
>> It is going to happen 100%.
>> Yes, >> it's going to happen.
>> There's no question about it because when the why is big enough, when you when you're fully associated, it will flat happen. All right. So, let's pop the uh the the slide up that uh that we were capturing while while you while you were doing this. And uh so you can see uh you can see as soon as we get it up. There we go. Results in the middle. Gain 15 pounds of lightness. All right. By April 10th and the purpose, she's got so much emotional juice. She's going to feel excited. Her kids are going to feel excited. She's going to be she's ecstatic and strong and powerful. You know, kids are going to say, "What's going on with my mom? I can't believe that she's she's, you know, taking action and making things change in her life." There's so much emotional juice being a role model for her kids, you know, that is some real powerful stuff. And then we take a look at the massive action plan column. We've got all these things and and we didn't even capture them all, but there's all these phenomenal things that you could do or you did to get you where you want to go. And now what we're going to do, we're I'm going to ask you to select three of these to select three of these that are the the absolute must. This is where I was talking about the 80/20 rule. All right, this is the 80/20 rule. We're gonna we're gonna come up with three, which is I get it. It's technically 33 and a third percent, but we're just play along with me here. Um, what are the three things that you're going to you're going to focus on and make an absolute must?
>> Um, workout first thing in the morning.
>> Excellent. Excellent choice. What else?
>> Um, drink that one gallon of water throughout the day.
>> Beautiful. Very good.
>> To plan every evening for the next day.
>> Okay. Excellent. And again, how confident are you on a scale of 1 to 10? Where one is not confident at all, 10 is absolutely confident. Where are you on a scale of 1 to 10 that you're going to make this happen by April 10th?
>> 10. 10. 10.
>> Yes. 10. No question about it. And and this is something you all can do. This is something you all can do. All right. Well, let's one more time, let's give Jenny a huge round of applause. Come on. Let her hear you. Let her feel your energy. Wonderful. All right. Well, we've uh we're going to keep going. Thank you for that. That was a really great example. We could not have had a better demonstration of being fully associated to uh to putting your RPM block together. That was that was fantastic. I want to just cover some a couple of quick uh highlights if you will. One thing is uh the power of language. The power of language. Language is important. Language creates emotion. Language creates emotion. And and the language that we use makes a difference. You know, the classic example that Tony always talks about, if I say you're wrong versus you're mistaken versus you're a liar, all right, versus you're a liar. That doesn't uh that's not going to work. You you um words make a difference. So, when you're putting together your RPM blocks, and we're going to talk about categories of improvement and magnificent sevens here in just a few minutes. When you're doing your RPM work, you want to use emotional words that have a great meaning for you. All right? Language really is important. It really truly is important. Now, question is, what's the secret to getting out of stress? I made mention of it earlier. If you know what the secret to getting out of stress is, put it in the chat box. Put it in the chat box. Okay. All right. I know everybody's so into the RPM block that you don't even remember that there was a chat box. That's okay. State. Yeah, state is always everything, but this tool of chunking is one of the powerful things that is going to help you get out of uh stress. And you know, you've maybe heard Tony say this before. You know, how do people count? How do people count? People count one, two, three, many. One, two, three, many. Because once you know our our minds, our brains can only comprehend so much. They can only comprehend so much. And and for most people, three chunks, three chunks is about the the the limit. That's why when we chunk things, we want to chunk things down to three or fewer uh pieces. Let's take a quick example. Uh let's put the slide up. Uh you know, simplifying your life. There's a bunch of of random actions here. All right, just kind of take a look at this. Um, this is what you know what what somebody has on their uh their old to-do list. All right. Now, are there any of these actions that actually uh you know relate to each other? Any of these actions that actually relate to each other. If you see any any uh any things that relate, we can chunk them. We can group them. we can put them together so that uh so we go from whatever there's just 12 or however many are on this list uh you know yes so exactly if we if we look at running lifting weights buying running shoes uh those are all things that are related to our health would everybody agree with that yes okay fantastic and and so we could chunk those all together go to the the next page yeah there we go you can see the uh the the the this how we've chunked those together and we can put them into an RPM block that the result make major progress on your physical body purpose you know this is just to give you this the sense but those four items can just go in one RPM block and so we went from 12 items on our list to really you know eight plus one and there's if you look back at that list you don't need to but if you if you were looking at it you may very well have seen I mean there's some that are related to work, there are some related to errands. Now this you know RPM there is science to it meaning there is a process and there's an art to it. And that's why I I used the analogy uh when we when we started of learn to ride a bike or learn to drive a car. You you you got to start and be very conscious when you get started. But then you will go to, you know, the the next place to be able to uh take it and get it in your body and own it and own it in every cell of your being. And chunking is one of the tools that will allow you to do that. All right. Well, um you know, I think this would be a good time. We did a little mini energy crank, but let's uh let's go ahead. Everybody stand up. Everybody stand up. Shake your body out. If you got some water, if you got some water, grab grab a grab some water. All right. And on the count of three, because you know the deal. State really is everything. State really is everything. And so on the count of three, we're going to go crazy again for just 3.97 seconds. Here we go. Ready? One, two, three. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Yes. Get a real high five if you're with somebody. Get a virtual high five if you're not. Get a virtual high five if you're not. Grab a seat and get ready to take some more notes. All right, quick review. Quick review. RPM. RPM blocks. You want to create your RPM blocks from a fully associated place, having seen yourself already accomplish whatever that result is. All right? You want to have seen yourself already accomplish whatever that result is. We always start with the result. It's got to be first. The pilot has to know where the plane's going to go and it has to know specifically which runway. So you have to be smart, specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and time defined. Next is the purpose. It's the jet fuel, the emotional juice. And then finally, we have the map, the menu of possible actions, and we identify the top, you know, 20 or 30% of those actions that we're going to focus on initially to get the result. And this is one of those things that helps also in getting rid of stress in your life because you saw she had 10 items on there and if she focuses on those three that she asterisks she's going to get the result. And once she starts to get some momentum once she's, you know, gets some momentum having doing those three things then she may be able to layer in a a couple more of those items. Language. Language creates emotion. It creates emotion whether we want it to or not. If I say to you, "She stabbed me in the back." That's going to create an emotion in your body. Just hearing it, getting stabbed in the back. All right. But if if I say um she said something that I didn't agree with, do you sense a different level of emotion? Because nothing has any meaning except the meaning we give it. So you know you recognize language is powerful emotion and we want to use it to your benefit not to to to make your life more difficult. And last this concept of chunking. Chunking is a way to bring about more simplicity in your life. How many people have a good feeling about RPM at this point? Raise your right hand. In fact, raise both your right and your left hand. There you test your manual dexterity. Raise both your right and your left hand and say yes. Yes. Fantastic. Fantastic. All right. So, how do you apply this to your life? That's a great question. How do you apply this to your life? And for those of you who have been through the time of your life, you know, maybe have a coach at RRI, you know the answer. Put it in the uh put it in the chat box. Somebody tell me, put it in the chat box. What are what are these things that you're going to focus on to keep your life? They're big chunks of things in your life. Yes. Categories of improvement. Categories of improvement. Now, um you know, RPM is a top-down system. RPM is a top- down system and it we we you want to start you want to start with your driving force. Now, uh, inner circle people, platinum partners, I know you all have access to the breakthrough app. And in the breakthrough app is the time of your life. The time of your life. It's a 10-day program. It's a 10-day program. It's a phenomenal program. It's a phenomenal program. I am distilling it down and giving you the cliffnotes version. All right? But it is a phenomenal program. and it is unbelievably powerful. So if you have other questions, if you have other questions, you go ahead and go to that uh resource and you can use that. So the you but you got to start with your driving force. What is your ultimate vision for your life? What's the ultimate purpose for your life? You know, what are uh your your your passions, your goals? What are the things that are really really important to you? All right. What are the things that are really really important to you? So then once we have the driving force, these are the categories of improvement. These are the big chunks of your life, the personal and professional things in your life that are going to help you take your life to the next level. And we divide it into two parts. makes complete sense. There's your personal life and there's your professional life. Your personal life and your professional life. And and we've got some examples here uh for categories in your prof your your personal life. Relationship, health, uh finances, spirituality. We got some examples in your professional life, you know, job performance, presentation skills, networking, uh mentorship. And again, there is nothing magic here. It's getting yourself clear about what's important to you. Now, so as I said, category of improvement is nothing more than a key area of your life to focus on and continually improve. And questions change our focus. Questions get us clarity. The question you want to ask is, what are the specific areas of your life you need to manage and measure to live a life of joy and fulfillment? To live a life of joy and fulfillment. And I already went through a few examples, but let's put the slide up with uh with uh some examples. This may look familiar to you uh later on. Um, but again, there is nothing magic about these things. Let me just take a quick uh sidebar for a second because um one of the things that we talked about is language creates emotion. Language creates emotion. And what you want to be here's what I tell people. Um if you've been How many people have been through the time of your life uh program? You've gone through the 10-day program. Good. A bunch of you. If you haven't, you should. It it is really really uh great great stuff. But here's what I tell people as they go through uh you know and are embracing this you know RPM methodology this system of thinking start with just the basics. Start with just the basics. So you know uh if we put that uh those examples back up for a second we got the basics of health and vitality. Now, the reason I say start with the basics is it gets you in the game because some people uh you know, they go for the the sexy language, the the the powerful emotionally charged language and you definitely want to get there, but I always encourage people start with the basics, health and vitality and then you can you can rename it as you you know as you start to get it in your body. So maybe health and vitality becomes uh you know for a guy maybe Adonis is uh is is your is your category if that the Greek god of uh you know whatever has a meaning for you. But you can you can bring emotion to this language these categories down the road. Now if you think of something right from the very beginning great start with the basics. Start with the basics because that'll get you in the game. And for each of these categories of improvement, for each of these categories of improvement, we have what Tony calls a magnificent seven. A magnificent seven. And and you know, this is just a bunch of chunks of things that will allow you to accomplish what it is that you want to accomplish in your life. All right. And again, you got this phenomenal handout. You've got this phenomenal workbook. Um and uh if we haven't, maybe we could post that uh that workbook link in the uh in the chat box so if people don't have it, they can get it. and uh you know you don't need it now but is is just a great resource for uh for for after the fact. Um the magnificent seven not surprisingly there are seven components. There are seven components and what I'm going to do is we're just going to run you through each of these components and then we'll we'll look at a uh an example. But the first chunk the first chunk is the vision for this part of your life. whatever it is, maybe it's uh health and vitality. What's your vision? And this is where you want to be. This is where you ultimately want to be. And the more the more graphic you can make this, the better. You know, I weigh 174 pounds. I have, you know, 4% uh body fat. I run on a regular basis. I lift weights at least three times a week. I eat mostly plant-based uh foods. I I I've taken this on as a lifestyle. I do this every single day of my life and it makes me feel stronger and more powerful and more energized. The more information, the more detail you can bring to it because here's what you want. You want to create a a clear picture of where it is you're headed. Because you've heard Tony say this. The mind does not know the difference between reality and something that it vividly imagines. Let me say it again because it's so powerful. The mind doesn't know the difference between reality and something that it vividly imagines. And so what we're doing here is we're programming your mind. That's really what the result is in RPM block. It's programming your mind. This is what's important. This is where I'm headed. This is what I'm going to accomplish. this is what I'm going to make happen in my life. And in the magnificent seven for one of your categories of improvements, it's just chunked up to a bigger area now. So instead of it just being a specific result uh in in the case of the example we just went through, gaining 15 pounds of lightness by April 10th, it's for a a chunk of your life. The next piece is the purpose. The purpose, this is the emotional juice. Same deal here. It's the jet fuel. You want to get as much emotional juice as you can get for your categories. You want to have as much emotional juice. And you can use those same questions. How does it make me feel? Uh what does it mean to me? Who have I become in the process? And do it the same way. See yourself having accomplished that vision. You're there. It's not something out there in the future. It's right now. You've done it. You made it happen. You accomplished it. You're living whatever that vision is. And from that place, how does it how does it make you feel? What does it mean to you? Who have you become? And then ask those questions from somebody else that's important to you. The third chunk are roles. The third chunk are roles. And these the way I like to describe these are these these are different hats that you wear. All right. These are different hats that you wear within this category. So if it was a health and uh fitness category it might be you know uh lifting uh you know weightlifter that might be one role. Uh healthy eater might be a role but these are hats that you wear within that category of improvement. The next piece is the three to thrive. The three to thrive. The way I like to explain this to people is that if you know if you couldn't do everything that you wanted to do, if you know the proverbial stuff were to hit the fan and and there were just three things that you were going to do on a regular basis, what would those three things be? What would those three things be? It's it's to help you stay grounded during times of challenge and difficulty. Next are resources. resources. These are any resources that you have available to you that you could use that would support you and help you in this particular category, whatever category it happens to be. They can be people you know, they can be se seminars that that you're aware of. They could be podcasts. They could be books. They could be uh you know uh audio products or you know the the the possibilities are endless. And here's one of the reasons you want to do this in a moment of calm thought and we've seen this demonstrated over the the you know the last few years with this COVID excitement. We can we can lose our focus very easily. we can lose our focus very easily and what can happen is we can find ourselves uh you know lost. So if we put together this great list of resources, I've got this friend that I can you know I can use as a resource. I got this professional I can use as a resource in this category of improvement. I've got these books. I've got these tapes. I've got these uh you know DVDs. I've got these podcasts. I've got you know all these things and you have them listed out. you run into challenges in that area, you can now go back to your category of improvement. Go to your resources and and get yourself reggrounded. Call that person that you identified as a as a resource. Go back to that book that you've read in the past or that you're aware of and read it for the first time. The sixth chunk is one year and 90day results. One year and 90day results. This is where you know uh you you take your category of improvement and you say okay where in this area of my life if if my vision that's where I ultimately want to be that's where I ultimately want to be where am I going to be a year from now that's going to be moving me in the direction of that vision that I have in this part of my life where where you know where am I going to be and and capture it where are you what what are you going to be what are some of the the results that you are going to accomplish in that year and then break it down into uh 90-day chunks into quarterly chunks. Again, seeing and knowing where you want to be ultimately. Seeing and and being and knowing where you are going to want to be ultimately. You uh you want to make sure that you are then breaking it down into a 90-day piece. So, this is where I'm going to be at the end of this year. This is where I'm going to be at the end of the first quarter, at the end of the second quarter, at the end of the third quarter, and the fourth quarter is should match up with where you see yourself at the end of this year. And then last but not least, applying what we just talked about is to put together some RPM plans, some RPM blocks. And what I said when we did this uh this little demonstration, I encouraged all of you to come up with a 30-day goal. to come up with a 30-day goal. All right? Because that's something that it's it's far enough out there so you can accomplish some things, but it's not so far out there that it seems like it's out of reach. So, you want to make sure you have some some RPM blocks. Let's go through uh an example uh here. And what I'm going to encourage you is if you uh if you as we go through this um you're going to if you go to page 15 there's a blank some blank pages that uh you can have for your category. Pick one of your categories of improvement. Maybe you don't know which it is but just go ahead pick one of them. Pick one of them and uh as we go through this jot down some notes as you go through it. That way you'll kind of have a head start on at least one of your categories of improvement. So let's go with this example. Love and relationships. Love and relationships. Uh what's the first piece? The first piece is the vision. The first piece is the vision. Um and so you know in this case I I don't need to read it to you but this is a start of a a vision. You know be a a lifelong adventure with my best friend and partner. Now, as it relates to vision, more is better. The more detail you have is better. The more details you have, the better it is. And so, this is one of those situations where you want to make sure that you, you know, build on it over time. Again, don't try to hit a home run, score a goal, uh, whatever analogy you want to use starting right away. Just jot down some some thoughts. What is what is my ultimate vision in in uh this part of my life? Next is the purpose. Again, seeing yourself having attained that vision, you know, what does it mean to me? Who you know, how does it make me feel? Who have I become in the process? Tap into the emotional juice. Tap into the emotional juice. The next chunk is the roles. What are what are three three or four roles here? Uh one is uh in this case for love and relationships. Uh you know to uh to be a creative romantic. All right. To be a creative romantic, to be a sounding board for your partner, to be a cheerleader for your partner. All right. Next. Uh and again, these are just the hats. The roles are just the hats. The three to thrive. What are three things? You know, if if you we're only going to be able to focus on three things, what would be three things in this category of improvement? And remember, jot down some notes uh for yourself and whatever category of improvement you're focused on right now. So, this example, weekly date night, that's uh that's a a great uh a great item. Uh you know, ignite passion in the relationship. So you're always looking for ways to ignite passion uh in the relationship. And it could be the the third thing to thrive would be to exercise together, to spend time together and to exercise together. All right. Next are the resources. You know, we got Tony's uh ultimate relationship program. Uh a book that's listed here, a babysitter. It could be a couple that you know that has great relationships. Again, could be podcasts. Uh whatever you have as a potential resource, you want to make sure that you have it uh there with you. All right? So, you you identify it now. So again, if the proverbial stuff uh hits the fan that you have someplace to go to and say, "Okay, geez, I I got myself off track, but let me pull out the ultimate relationship program." Whatever the case might be, one year and quarterly goals. The next chunk, one year and quarterly goals, 90-day goals. Uh one year goal could be to spend three weeks in Paris. uh and and a 90-day goal to have two fun stations so that you spend time just with your significant other. And then last but not least um we have um the RPM action plans and this is where you just create some RPM blocks. It's where you just create some RPM blocks. So, uh let's go ahead and yeah, here's just the the uh example from from the uh the the manual uh shows you this uh this example that we just went through. So, you can see it all in in uh in one place. Let's let's put the uh the relationship uh example that's that we just went through. And you'll notice that there's actually another example in your manual. All right. You have, you know, multiple things to look at, multiple categories, and uh again, the time of your life is a great resource and and uh you know, enough right now. In fact, the truth is you know more right now than most people could ever imagine. You know more right now than most people could ever imagine. And uh the key the key is you got to do it. You got to do it. And we're gonna give you an opportunity to do that right now. We're gonna give you an opportunity to do that right now. And uh you know, go to one of those blank uh magnificent sevens in your workbook. And if you don't have the workbook, that's fine. Grab a piece of paper. Keep it simple. And because what you're going to do now is you're going to take just, you know, a few minutes, a few minutes, and write down some I you know, pick one of your categories of improvement. Could be personal or professional. Pick one of your categories of improvement and put together the start of your vision statement. And again, start basic and then if you think some, you know, some better language to juice it up a little bit, go ahead and uh and and juice it up. So, let's uh I don't know if we have a blank one, but this is a good let's let's let's put that magnificent seven uh slide up for everybody to see. And let's just leave that up. Put a bit of music in the background. And uh first of all sit up. Sit up with some energy. Sit up with some power, some focus, some drive. And from this place, go ahead and make some notes on your vision for one of your categories of improvement. Go, go, go. Have fun. Smile. [Music] moving all around. Oh, fascinated [Music] [Music] by I'never felt [Music] awaken invigorated. Total surrender. [Music] I'm captivated by another dimension. I never felt this way. I'm captivated by [Music] This is what [Music] I'm felt this way I'm captivated by [Music] another felt this way I don't feel. [Music] [Music] >> All right, go ahead and move on to your purpose. Make some notes about your purpose. Make some notes about your purpose. Again, seeing yourself, having accomplished that vision. How does it make you feel? What's it mean to you? Who have you become? What does it how does it make people that are important to you feel? What does it mean to them? And who have they become? Again, excuse me. Put a smile on your face. This is fun. This is about taking your life to the next level. Yes, your life, not anybody else's life. making your life the most important thing. Fantastic. All right, smile. You got this. [Music] Hey, it [Music] Hey, it [Music] hey [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] I'm fooling [Music] [Music] shame on I'm the beat go down. [Music] [Music] You're doing great. Everybody breathe. Remember to breathe. >> Sit up. Maybe move your body a little bit if you need to. >> Yeah. >> If you're yawning, that means you're oxygenating your brain. All right. That's a good thing, Tracy. You're oxygenating your brain. All right. And just as a reminder, your vision, it's where you want to go and and you want to write it in a way so you're excited about spending time focusing on that category. [Music] Can't live without shame on me. I'm a fooly [Music] >> that you wear or could wear that would help you stay focused on what's important to you in that category of improvement. What are some roles or some hats that you can wear that will help you? And again, if you need to move your body, if you need to stand up, drink some water, whatever you got to do. All right? Cuz we're coming down the home stretch, people, and you're doing wonderfully. All right? Go have fun. [Music] It's never enough cuz we never want to lose this [Music] future sound. Not going [Music] down. This is where the go ahead wrap up your rolls and let's move on to your three to thrive. your three to f thrive. What are three things? If you know the stuff hit the fan, you could only focus on three things or just the stuff didn't hit the fan, but you you decided in advance, hey, I'm going to focus on these three things because I know they're going to help me make major progress on my on my path to my ultimate vision and on my path to my yearly and quarterly goals. Go. You got this. The moment she was lost in love [Music] radio, [Music] go ahead. Stretch. I see some of you. Saw Stephen stretch. See some others. You go ahead stretch if you need to stand up. >> Do the hokeyp poki if you know what the hokeyp poki is. Whatever. Whatever you need to do to keep yourself energized. wrap up your three to thrive and let's move on to your resources. What are some of the resources that you have available to you in this category of improvement? again books, you know, DVDs, podcasts, people, web, webinars, anything and everything that you can think of that can help you get refocused and or take your life to the next level because sometimes it's not about getting refocused, it's just about, hey, I need to kind of what's the next thing? And and again, these are all things that you may very well add to. In fact, not you may very well, you should be adding to over time. Add some components to your vision. Add some some components to your purpose. You know, as you think of things, go ahead and build on it. So, jot down some resources. Go radio. go ahead and move on to your uh annual goals and 90day goals. So, come up with one annual goal where you'd like to see yourself in this category a year from now >> and a 90-day goal. Where do you want to see yourself in the next 90 days? [Music] Dream [Music] is fun and fancy. Yes. [Music] You and me. And once you have your one one year goal, one one year result, one 90day result, come up with one 30-day result, something that you're going to accomplish in this category in the next 30 days. >> And now here, you definitely want to make sure it's smart, specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and time defined. is real. Let us change forever and we will touch the above sea. I can't get enough. Fantastic. All right, give yourselves a round of applause. Give yourself a round of applause. Come on, celebrate your greatness. You've just completed your first category of improvement. And no, it's not perfect. Mainly because there's no such thing as perfect, but you got started. In fact, to honor my dear friend Joseph McClendon III, everybody put your put your right hand up in the air. Put your right hand up in the air. And even if I can't see you, put your dead gum right hand up in the air. All right. Lean over. Lean slightly forward. Pat yourself on the back and say, "I freaking rock." Yes. Fantastic. Fantastic. Yes. All right. [Applause] All right. Let's have maybe just a couple of shares. And I prefer to go with platinum partners and inner circle folks. So if you have and what I'd like you to share just before you start raising your hand is just a couple components. I way to go Howard. I I I like your style. I like your style. Um just a couple of the key components from your vision statement. Couple of things from your vision statement that really excite you. It doesn't make any difference it excites anybody else. We want to see and hear some uh you know a couple of excite the things from your vision for the category of improvement that you were looking at that excites you that gets your your juices flowing that gets you moving. All right. So let's go since Howard had his hand up before anybody else did. Let's go with Howard. Come on down. Share a couple chunks of of your emotional vision statement. Uh, my emotional vision statement is to have a beautiful intimate relationship with my wife Nancy who's sitting right here. >> Okay. Excellent. >> That's the only vision statement I had. >> That's that's a great vision statement. Now, again, you want to you want to make uh those vision statements as specific as you can. Now, in this case, um it it might not be for public consumption. All right. >> Could be. How about a loving, thriving relationship where we're spending time, immense amount of time together, enjoying ourselves. >> Beautiful. Beautiful. That's excellent. All right. >> Regardless of the category. Regardless of the category, Pat. >> Well, yeah, that's that's a good point. And and that's interesting because what you're going to find is that particularly as it relates to some of the purpose statements that you create, some of those purpose statements, there may be a lot of similarities across your categories because what creates emotional juice for you, and I'm not just talking to Howard. What creates emotional juice for you is is is going to be creating emotional juice regardless of the area of your life. So keep that in mind. you when you really start to get into a flow, you may find that there are a couple of chunks that are similar uh particularly in the purpose statement. All right, so let's give it up for Howard. Give it up for Howard. Yes, congratulations. Let's go with Ma. Ma, come on down. Share uh what first of all, where whereabouts are you from, Ma? >> Hello. I'm in Vancouver, BC, and I'm so happy to be here. Great job, Tad. Nice to see everybody. >> Fantastic. Great to have you. Uh, so what uh what are what category did you focus on when we went through and did this uh this warm-up exercise, if you will? >> Yeah, my category is on fitness. >> Okay, beautiful. And what are some of the the the components of your fitness vision that you find really uh engaging, exciting, emotionally charged for you? >> Yeah. Uh, so I am um a hot, sexy, toned, curvy, playful, uh, energetic cougar for my beloved >> beautiful. All right. How many people I mean, how many people just seeing Ma's face and hearing the emotion, her voice know that she's on to something here? Is there anybody that uh that didn't notice that? If you didn't, you're asleep. All right, you're asleep because there's definitely some great emotional juice and that's exactly what you want to have. That's exactly what you want to have. All right, let's give it up for Ma. Let her hear you. Come on, celebrate, Ma. Yes. Yes. All right, let's go with one more of this. We've got mostly women that want to share. I love it. Let's go with Tracy. Come on down. >> Thank you. Thank you so much. >> Where are you coming to us from, Tracy? >> Uh, Vancouver Island, Canada. >> We've got all of the the Canadians. Hey there. Uh, I'm glad great to have you. Uh, we've got some uh the the coaches on here that are from Canada as well. So, it's great to have you. So, what was your category that you focused on? >> Well, it is my career. It's my business. Beautiful. And I want to be a savvy knowledge broker uh providing effortless avenues for people to empower themselves to heal. >> Beautiful. All right. And again, this is just to get yourself in the game. Um and you didn't really have enough time and nobody had enough time to to really come up with the vision kind of statement that you're ultimately going to want to have. But that Tracy is a phenomenal start, you know, because and and again, these vision statements and the purpose statements in particular are really about you. And I'm not just talking to Tracy. I'm talking to everybody. They're about you because your vision is your vision. What you want to focus on, what you acco want to accomplish is what you want to focus on and accomplish. and and the why behind it is really also all about you. All right, so let's give Tracy a big round of applause. Come on, let her hear you. Yes. All right, way to go, Tracy. Well, you know, unfortunately, we're coming down the home stretch, people. We We don't have time for any more shares, but share with your friends. Share this. You got to do this. So what did I say when we started? Great ideas, great knowledge is meaningless if you don't do something with it. All right. Great knowledge is meaningless if you don't do something with it. So here's your assignment. Is everybody up for assignment? Say yes to take this and put it in your life. All right. Here's your assignment. Let's go ahead and put this up on the screen because people are going to want to copy this down because this is important stuff. Number one, embrace RPM thinking. Embrace RPM thinking. So whenever you think of something, think about okay, what's the result? Why is this important? And what are some actions that I can do to accomplish it? What's the result? Specific, measurable, action-oriented, realistic, time defined. Why is it a must? How's it going to make me feel? What's it going to mean to me? Who am I going to become in the process? And what are the action items that are going to make this happen? And and number two, always think of results. Always think of results. When you think about doing something, always think of what is the result that is going to get me that action that that uh you know that that process. What is the result that you is going to take your life to the next level? What is your result that's going to take your life to the next level? Now, this is where it gets fun. Is everybody up for fun? Say yes. All right. Create at least two RPM blocks. Create at least two RPM blocks. Now, we're not going to have another session for over a month. So, you know, I would encourage you to take your life to the next level. I'm always telling the trainers and the senior leaders, take your life to the next level. I tell when I work with the coaches, I tell the coaches that. And when I talk to the platinum partners, when I've talked to the inner circle folks, I say that to you, too. So, maybe do one a week between now and then or two a week. But you gota you've got to exercise these muscles. All right? You've got to get it in your body. So, a minimum of two RPM blocks and ideally one or two a week. Identify all your categories of improvement. Your personal categories and your professional categories. All your categories of improvement. There's no perfect number. You don't want to have 27. Okay? I can tell you that. You probably want to have more than three. All right? Um but if you have you know three, four, five, six of you know personal and or professional uh you know but if you get more than eight or nine each personal and professional you get past 15 it's probably too much. So start small identify your categories of improvement and and then complete at least two magnificent sevens. Now, since I know you're all achievers, I'm going to encourage you to get all your magnificent sevens done before we come back uh next month. All right, everybody clear on the homework assignment? Yes. Okay. If you are committed now, and I want you to think about this. Don't just raise your hand because that's what we do here. All right. I want you to think about this. Be conscious. Be purposeful. If you are committed to finishing, completing and exceeding your homework between now and when we have our next session, raise your right hand and again make some difference so I can see or hear you. Raise your right hand and say yes. Excellent. Excellent. Now, um there is an app which we're going to look at in just a second. And now hear me people, hear me. If if it were me and I was just getting started embracing the RPM methodology, I wouldn't even look at the app right now. I wouldn't even look at the app right now. And now think about this. Tony often uses the analogy of learning to do basic math, addition and subtraction. Would it make sense to start with a calculator and try to understand how the calculator works or come up with a computer program and and try to understand how the computer program is before you understand the basics of what you're trying to do? No, it wouldn't. And you know, I've used all kinds of uh you know, apps in my time. And until I have understood whatever it is the app is supposed to do for me, I don't want to spend time in the app because here's what happens to me. I don't know if it ever happens to anybody else. I get in the app and before you know it, I'm I don't understand how this is and I don't want, you know, that doesn't seem to be the way I thought it was going to be. and I get all in my head and I've forgotten about what it is that I started to do. My encouragement to you is to, you know, use old school pen and paper, pencil and paper or, you know, at most just a a word document to put this stuff together. Get it in your body. Get yourself so you're approaching a level of physical mastery. and then you can take a look at the app. Now, we do have an an app that uh you know is a a tool and right now it's it's for iOS users and it's called RPM light. All right, called RPM light. And there's there's three steps. Step one, go to the app store, search for the app, download it, and then log in using your RRI username and password. All right, step two. Input your categories of improvement. Input your categories of improvement. It's going to pull up some uh that you can use. You can go in and change it. Um input your category improvement. And step three, start to capture some actions in each of those categories of improvement. Again, because repetition is in fact the mother of skill. As I said, the most important thing right now is for you to understand and embrace this system of thinking. You'll have plenty of time to play around in the app. We gave you several pages in the workbook for, you know, creating RPM blocks for capturing your magnificent sevens for your categories of improvement. Use those. Get it in your body before you get yourself wound up in an app. Is everybody tracking with me? Am I making sense here? Okay. Now, then at a later training, at a later training, you can dive into the app or we'll have a desktop version uh of RPM where you can really get into it and embrace it and and get it in your body because you've actually mastered it. But master it first. Master it first before you get yourself uh confused. All right, everybody up for going for mastery. Raise both hands and say yes. Fantastic. Let's throw that homework up again because I just want to remind you that you guys committed to this homework. All right, I want you to remind you we committed to this homework. Our next session, jot it down. April 21st, noon Pacific, US time, 300 PM Eastern US time. Next will be an a 90 minute session. I want to everybody to note, we said two hours. It's two hours straight up right now, people. We're going to blow the roof off. Celebrate your greatness. Congratulations for finishing this session. You took in a ton of content. Here we go. Ready? One, two, three. Yes. Yes. Yes. [Applause] Whoa. Yes. I love you. Thank you. Have an amazing day, evening, morning, whatever it is. See you in April. Maybe at an event before then. Love you. Bye, everybody. [Music]
