All right, we're a week out from round one, uh, 2024 All Japan Motocross Championship coming up next weekend in, uh, Off-Road Village. Pre-season's done. We spent, uh, preseason in the US, uh, we did some testing, some training out there. But second year on the 450 now, and, uh, yeah, I'm, uh, expected to know what I'm doing. Um, yeah, I mean, this is third year, we're going on third year here in Japan now, so, uh, yeah, I should be pretty comfortable here in Japan. But, um, last year we learned a lot, um, stepping up to the 450. And then obviously, yeah, I don't know, we also have our challenges here in Japan, obviously. And it's, uh, we're we're sort of expected to know what we're doing in Japan, uh, everyday life. And this is, uh, we spent the the day in Asakusa, or the afternoon in Asakusa, um, being at the Tokyo Tokyo Motorcycle Show. And, uh, this is sort of our life behind the scenes, I guess, where I was at the motorcycle show. But I've got my family with me, and, uh, my brother's come out from Australia with his girlfriend. And we're just cruising around. Um, we're still trying to make the most of our times when we're traveling around Japan and trying to make the most of it, uh, different culture, different, yeah, just learning many different things. And, um, this has been fun. We spent the night, we went to, uh, Yakitori, um, grilled some meat, Yaki niku, Yaki niku. Yeah, we grilled some meat at Yaki niku, Yaki niku. And, uh, I don't know, this is sort of behind the scenes that most people probably don't realize that that happens, you know? I get to, we travel around Japan, and the racing scene in Japan's really cool. But this is still the most important thing for me is, uh, I get to race, I get to work for a company that I'm really passionate about and spend this time with my family while, uh, we're still so young. And yeah, living life here in Japan, it's been a really cool experience, and I hope everyone enjoys it.

All right, day one done. Uh, Saturday we had a lot of work to do with, uh, some media stuff and, uh, helping out the young riders today. So we're watching a lot of 65 and 85 kids and, um, trying to help them out, give them some advice. But we just finished up with pre-practice and, uh, yeah, it's a junior track today. She's very tight. Uh, it was really muddy, um, last night and then this morning when we went out. So a lot of 65s on the track, the ruts are very upright and straight. But it was good, we, uh, just cruised around and, uh, we have 15-minute free practice, so felt pretty good. But, um, always round one, shoulders are up nice and high and nervous. So we just got to relax a little bit and, uh, yeah, have some fun tomorrow.

Uh, so we're just finishing up here at first round at Off-Road Village. Um, it's awesome to see J race 450, uh, it's been a long time since I've actually seen him ride, two years to be exact. Um, really proud to see where he's actually, uh, where he's at in his career, um, to see where everything that he's been through, um, he's had to, you know, grit his teeth a lot of the time, there's no money being made for a long time, and, um, having a daughter and a wife, to see where he is now, it's, uh, it's very special and I'm very proud of him. Um, he's got an awesome group of people that he's working with now and, um, yeah, very proud of M, Poy Jay himself, um, and his team, everything, everyone's very welcoming and, uh, yeah, it's awesome, awesome to be back here and I can't wait to be back again. Yeah, so that's a wrap on Off-Road Village, round one, All Japan Motocross Championship. And, uh, we started off with three wins. Um, I was pretty nervous coming into this weekend. Um, we had pretty pretty good preseason, second year on the 450, we're in America for a little bit, come back and we had some bad weather. But, um, just trying to manage that and then bike testing and it was okay. Um, obviously we've got Alonzo who's come up, the Spanish rider, he's jumped up into the 450 class, he's got a lot of speed. Haruki who's come back from Australia as well. Um, so yeah, just I think more the nerves were like dealing with this track. I think this track is so small and like it's so start dependent. In the third moto, you saw that like I didn't get, I was second off the start and I was faster than Haruki, but I just couldn't pass him anywhere. And, uh, I think he was a little bit cheeky with some of his, uh, his line selections, I'd say, and the games he was playing. But I said to him that like I'll race him respectfully. Um, I was quite frustrated in the race and throughout the race, but then also after the race. And I thought it was just better to stay away completely, so I didn't say something wrong. Um, but I was okay, we shook hands, I said I'll race him respectfully for the rest of the year. And I just want, uh, safe racing as well, when we can minimize mistakes and, uh, do that and create a safe environment. I want to make sure it's safe. Um, but overall it's been a good day. It's been nice to have my brother and his girlfriend here from Australia. It's been a year and a half since I've been back to Australia, so it's nice to see some family. Uh, we've wrapped up All Japan Motocross Championship round one, and that's it. Thank you.
