Look, you don't need to start a business. You don't need to be an entrepreneur. You don't need that new BS drop shipping crypto course everybody's trying to sell you. You just want a remote job and one that pays you enough, that is flexible, and that works.
And I'm not going to sugar coat it. It's getting really, really hard. I had to dig very deep to find these 14 flexible remote jobs. And they aren't the most fun. They aren't the most exciting, but that's kind of the point. It's real work, not fast, not some new trend. And nothing is guaranteed, but I'm going to tell you what's a scam and what isn't. So you can just skip all the BS out there and save some time.
So first up is Prolific. Now I always talk about surveys and say that they're a scam because they are. They pay you like 50 cents for an hourong survey. It's just not doable. But Prolific is something else. Now they started in 2014 at Oxford University and work with top organizations like Google, Stanford, and more and focus on quality surveys that actually pay something which is pretty unique.
Now let's be real. You're not going to get rich from surveys. That's the hard truth. It just doesn't work that way. But according to their own data in 2023, which yeah, it's kind of old, their average was 15 an hour for their surveys for just surveys. And they are posting surveys according to their own website every 2 minutes. And they don't pay in annoying stupid gift cards. It's actually cash. The best thing is there's no set schedule and you can do this in your spare time like at night. But a disclaimer, it depends on your location and what surveys are available for you. Nothing is guaranteed. That's life. I'll give it a seven out of 10.
Next, if you want a good remote job, there's one place you need to look, and that is rich companies. Yep, rich companies that have a ton of money. And guess who they are? Insurance companies. Sigma is one of the largest insurance providers in the US and globally. And Sigma is hiring remotely. They even have this new AI feature which helps you find the right remote job for you. Like if I just want something simple, I want to work remotely. I want to get paid enough, just go to their website, click on the support icon, and start searching. And it's going to find the best remote job for you. So you can skip all that job hunting BS only to find fake jobs anyway, which I mean fake jobs are everywhere now, right? And just to prove it to you because I could be saying anything, click on remote and you will see over 50 open remote jobs at the moment. Many of these are beginner friendly, too. So, I'll give it an 8 out of 10. Insurance stuff is boring as hell, but they have what we need, which is money.
All right, the next remote job is for anyone with no skills whatsoever needed, and you can actually work from home during evenings. And yes, it's pretty boring, but that's fine. And it's being a try tester. According to their own website, each test pays between $5 and $30. Nothing is guaranteed. They may of course or may not have tests available, but what if you do a few of these tests per day? Try basically pays people to complain. And if you like complaining, then it's probably the only way to get paid for it instead of hanging around on Twitter yelling at people that never listen anyway because try pays for feedback on websites, apps, and user experiences. And a test might take like 15 minutes. You will record your screen and your voice while giving feedback on a website or some product. You'll click around on the website, look for different bugs and problems, and speak your mind. That's all you got to do. Then you click submit, and you get paid.
Now, you guys know that I don't trust any of this stuff, so I actually did some digging myself. Now, Try Mod has been around since 2015, based in Salt Lake City, and they have been around a long time, and they used to be called Try My UI, but the reviews are kind of mediocre because the job is pretty unreliable, and I would just do it as a side gig. still simple and deserves a 7 out of 10.
All right, next up is Crew Bloom and they're hiring remotely full-time, part-time, nighttime, all the time. Okay, no, that's too far. But they're hiring worldwide. So, just see for yourself. But what is this all about? Okay, Crew Bloom is a staffing agency where you basically go to them and say, "Hello, can I have a job?" And they give you a job. And then they send you to work in a company that needs you right then and there. All remote. So, all you got to do is basically apply once and then they fix everything else for you as long as you pass their criteria and you get accepted, of course. Simple as that.
Now, if you are incredibly incredibly lucky, you could even end up at places like Google or Microsoft when they place you in different companies. But don't expect that. Let's be honest, you'll probably end up somewhere really, really boring. So, what kind of jobs do they offer? Because that's a good question, right? If you're going to be working, you want to know what job you'll be doing. And they offer a ton of different positions. So, here are a few examples. They have testing. They have sales jobs, design, marketing. You will find something here. But, you know, it's not as fancy as the next NFT, drop shipping, crypto scam out there, but it's definitely more reliable. 8.5 out of 10.
Next one. Are you the one everybody asks for help? Well, now you can actually get a reward for it. Finally, and while still in your pajamas, and you don't even need to leave your bed. And Just Answers is the next website which pays experts to answer people's questions in writing. So just typing on your keyboard. All you got to do is you sign up, get verified, and then start answering users questions. And whenever you answer a question, you get paid per question. That's it.
Now, there are some people on this website earning between two and $4,000 per month. But I do want to be clear about this. Those are not normal numbers. Don't expect similar results. I'm just showing you what the top earners are making. This is not guaranteed. Your earning potential completely depends on what questions that you can answer. And that is the truth. The more valuable the question, the higher it pays. So, if you're, let's say, a nurse, a lawyer, or really good with cars, then you can make more money. And if you're thinking, okay, well, I have no skills. What questions can I really answer? There are so many different areas of expertise, and you don't need a degree or be a doctor to answer questions and make money. But this is more for those who are willing to learn something first. 6 out of 10.
The next one requires no experience or skills whatsoever. And in this case, I actually mean it. And that's tooka tooka took whatever. Everybody's talking about AI and how incredible it is. The reality is for many of us AI is pretty scary. It's too fast. We don't know what's happening. It's taking jobs and the rich get richer. But no one dares to say it. Tooka is a company that actually lets beginners cash in on the AI wave because they're hiring remote annotators. Now, what's an annotator? They basically train AI by writing stuff. That's pretty much it. You're making the doomsday machine even worse. Great. Seriously though, a lot of these AI training jobs are just BS. They pay you like 30 cents. But tooka works with Amazon, Anthropic, Microsoft, all those big companies, and they are legit. Let's be honest, you're not going to get rich doing this. That would be completely misleading. But it works great as an extra stream of side income. And you know what they say, your employer doesn't really care about you. And when everything falls apart, the more streams of income that you have, the safer you are for you and your family. So all you got to do is fill in this one minute form. Literally, it takes 1 minute to apply to the job. Not some, you know, annoying job application process with like screenings and different AI quizzes and IQ tests that we see nowadays. It's completely ridiculous. And if you are a good fit, they'll reach out to you. Simple as that. So, I'll give it a 7 out of 10.
Now, you guys know that I hate surveys, but Pine Cone Research is up next. Okay, why am I abandoning all my principles? Because they have surveys that pay $150 to $200. Now, I get it. It sounds like a complete scam, total BS, but they have something called focus groups, and it's basically a different type of survey that is pretty unique. It's when you hop on a Zoom call, answer questions, and get paid for hopping on the Zoom call. Now, why on earth would anybody do this? Because they want feedback. Simple feedback surveys don't really paint the whole picture. They want to see your reactions in person, hear about your thoughts, and gain a much deeper understanding of what you think about their company and about their products. And that's why they ask you in person because yes, most of these studies are not worth it. I completely agree. But if you only sign up for focus groups and they are available, I found a couple of them that are open right now, that could be life-changing. I mean, what if you did a few of these per month? That could actually mean something compared to just doing regular surveys that pay nothing. So, I'm going to give surveys a 1 out of 10 and focus groups an 8 out of 10.
All right, so after all these gigs, I think it's time for a real full-time part-time remote job, and that is New Fold Digital. Now, let's start with some reviews because everybody else always skips reviews for some reason. Wait, their jobs don't exist. Newfold is a verified employer at Glass Door with hundreds of reviews. Their 3.6 rating is pretty good. It's not like winning the jackpot, but in this job market, I'll take a 3.6 rating. All you got to do is click browse openings and search for remote. That's going to show you about 50 remote jobs as I'm recording this video. Now, these are spread across various countries like the US, some European countries, Brazil, India, the Philippines, etc. I'm not going to list out every country. You can just pull it up yourself. Sorry to all the countries that we skipped. We love you, too. One job I recommend is outbound sales here, where you basically call people to sell them stuff. And I get it, it's not the most fun, but it's honest work. I mean, as honest as sales gets. and the pay isn't the best, but you also earn commissions, so you can make quite a lot of money if you play your cards right. So, I'm going to give Newfold an eight out of 10. It kind of depends on the opportunities that you find on the site as well because they have different things.
All right, so next up is Stellar. Do you want to make money by just typing on your keyboard? Yes. Do you think that's possible? No. Obviously, it's a scam. Or because Stellar is hiring freelance content writers and all they do is make money by typing all day. Okay, that's a bit oversimplified. I get it. Stellar is a writing platform and they basically connect brands with writers and they work with top brands like Brain Labs, Wealth Simple, and 3M. And when they need an article, they talk to Stellar. And Stellar is kind of like the article dealer, like the middleman between you and the brand. So, you don't have to go around all day applying to writing jobs. It just sends you the jobs right away. It's pretty simple. You log in, you claim some work, and you start writing. Your clients approve it, you get paid. And the best part, they don't hold your money for months. I know some shitty sites that do that. They pay you after like 6 months when you need the money right away, which is not the best place to be in. But Stellar, they pay writers twice a week, literally almost every third day.
Now, I got to be upfront about the hardships. It's not all easy as it sounds. You do need some writing experience and you have to be pretty serious to do this, but it's also really fun. Yes, for once, we actually have something fun on the channel. Can you imagine? Because their writers are in all sorts of different niches like fitness. You can talk about building muscle or taking st um yeah, no, you can write about real estate, technology, heck, even travel. So, I'm going to give it an eight out of 10 because I think it's pretty good, actually.
So, the next one I'm going to get so much hate for, but I have to include it anyway cuz why not? You know, all these cashback websites, like everybody's pretending it's like a job or something. No, it's not. But if you're not using cash back when you're buying stuff, you're leaving a lot of money on the table because every time that you buy something, and let's face it, we all have to buy food. We have to pay rent. I mean, there are some things that you can't escape, unfortunately, for now. And I mean, Lucas, you could go live in the forest and grow your own vegetables. Fair point, but come on. Ibata has paid over $2.3 billion in cash back. Yes, that is billions with a B. And according to their own data, their average user saves about $261 per year on their regular shopping. And it's not some stupid gift card scheme or whatever. All you got to do is download the app, which no, this is not sponsored in any way. Just to clarify, no sponsors in this video. You take a photo of your receipts and you can get the cash back straight to you. Or if you prefer gift cards, go ahead. I just have a personal grudge with gift cards because I always forget to redeem them on time and lose all the money, which yeah, it sucks. So, for being a cashback thing, I'll give it an 8 out of 10. Obviously, cash back is not like some revolutionary thing where you make a lot of money. No, but if you're not doing it, you're seriously missing out.
All right, next up. You ever wanted to work at Subway and get free sandwiches or work at Starbucks and get free overpriced coffee? Or work at Google and get free Googles? I don't know. Sorry, but I can't give you that in this video, but I have something better for you. Or it's pretty good at least. ICU Social is a social media agency that works with Google, Subway, Sony, Starbucks, all these cool companies. And they hire people like you to help with their social media. Now, don't worry. You don't need to go on camera or become an Instagram influencer. It's more about managing their accounts, making posts, things like that. And so, let's take a look at the reviews because, yeah, it sounds too good to be true, obviously. So, they have a 3.3 rating on glass door, which is fine. It's not the best. I mean, it's a three-star hotel, you could say. And they have offices in Montreal, Canada, New York, and London, but they hire remotely. And also at the moment they're actually looking for bilingual speakers really aggressively. So if you happen to know another language like Spanish, that's a huge plus. And the salary depends on the region. In the US, it seems to be about 15 an hour. Nothing special, but they do let you work part-time. That is a huge plus, meaning that you could do this in the evenings, in your spare time, or technically even at night. Nine out of 10.
All right, so next up is live ops. Support is one of the best remote jobs. just answering questions with no experience, but usually they have long annoying schedules. Live Ops is different. Their motto is work around your life, letting you set your own hours to actually work around your life. All of you night owls work the night shift and the early birds work the morning shift. And the best part, you choose how much you want to work. If you want to work full-time, great. If you prefer doing it a few hours here and there, no problem. But isn't this just some scam, Lucas? No. This one I can actually vouch for. LiveOps has been around for 25 years operating out of Arizona. Kathy right here has worked for them since the beginning for 25 freaking years. Joan has worked for 11 years and Beverly for 20 years at Live Ops. 20 years is a pretty significant time for an online company. And they have a 3.7 star rating from over a,000 reviews on Indeed. Now, the reason why it's not five stars is the pay isn't anything, you know, special. It's not going to make you go, "Wow." But it's decent. It's legit. And all you need is a computer and a headset with a microphone. Only downside is that they don't hire in some states like California. Um, but with California's crazy cost of living, it would be pretty hard to sustain that anyway, to be honest. Can I just stop complaining for like one second? No. 8.5 out of 10.
All right. Next up, we have RRD. Now, they've been around for over 150 years. What? Okay, that sounds like a complete BS, right? 150 years. But RR Donnelly is a communications company founded in Chicago in 1864. They do things like printing, marketing, I don't even know, all sorts of stuff. And to be honest, in 150 years to survive, you kind of have to change business model once in a while and try something different. Anyway, the cool part is that they have over 36,000 employees and work from home. Have a look yourself. This is their job platform. Click on employees can work remotely. All of these remote jobs are both in IT, marketing, sales, quality assurance, etc. And the salaries are high compared to other jobs on this list, but there's always a caveat. Some of these do require experience. Let's be honest about that. So, if you are a complete new beginner, I think the next site is going to be better for you. Eight out of 10.
And that is Found. Now, this company is like the king of remote jobs. They have over $150,000 employees, $4 billion in annual revenue, and they've also been around for about 40 years, four decades. And the best part is that 50% of their team, 75,000 people are working from home. Just head to the site, click on find a job in your country, and I'm going to select the United States. Click on remote jobs and boom, we have some marketing jobs, some management, some customer service jobs, and my favorite, the part-time customer advocates. Now, click on that and that is a job that pays 14 an hour. Not the best, but they provide all the equipment that you need and give you an employee wellness program, whatever that means. Maybe it's a pair of shoes to walk outside. I don't know. Seriously though, you don't have to call people. you are just a support person taking inbound calls and chats and emails, which is pretty chill compared to being a salesperson, which can be really intense. So, I'm going to give it about an eight out of 10.
