I am excited to see you and I cannot believe it's already conference again. Seems like we just had this, like, last month, wasn't it? And time is going fast. But I'm thankful for all of you that chose to come and be with us.
I want to let you know that, um, uh, in prayer today, I really felt God speak to me that there are numbers of people this week. If you're going to obey God, you are going to get a financial breakthrough. This is personally and in churches. Some of you, while you're here at conference, you're going to get calls and texts. People are going to notify you about your breakthrough. You're going to hear from God. So I want you to believe God, obey what he says, and we are going to have a wonderful week.
I'm going to pray at the end of the service for, uh, the sick. I'll pray for everyone, but I do feel led. There are a number of people that you are in pain right now. This is not every single person in pain, but a number of you, uh, have been sitting there in pain saying, "I don't know if I can make it through the sermon." If that's you, lift up your hand. Show me who that is. Number of people. You're in pain. In great pain. I want to pray for you. And we're going to pray right now. Let's pray.
In Jesus' name, I take dominion over that pain. God, you're going to reach down in their bodies. Healing power. I rebuke infirmity. God, demonstrate your power so they can hear the word of God. There's going to be an atmosphere of healing, a miracle dimension here tonight in the name of Jesus Christ. I thank you for it. Amen.
Turn in your Bibles to the book of Matthew, chapter 28. Matthew, the 28th chapter. And this is our the theme scripture of the conference. When we built this building, we started with blueprints. We got a number of blueprints from the architect, various engineers, and to my eye, not being a builder, there were things that seemed very strange. One of the first things they did, they dug trenches and they put in the sewer lines. And, uh, in the corner over there is some of you that walked down to the lower parking lot, there was a pipe that stood up. It was going to be a manhole cover, even with the the road. It stood up in the air 7 feet tall, just sticking up in the air. And I went to the the the builder foreman and I said, "Something is wrong. The land does not go down that." In other words, they're going to fill it up seven. I said, "Something is wrong." And he said to me, "Trust the math." And he said, "Trust the blueprints." Because engineers had drawn and had calculated, and that was all factored in. I went away muttering to myself, "You going to see your room?" But lo and behold, the blueprints and these are not, this is a little baby set. I mean, it was a massive set of blueprints that when the builders followed the blueprints, this is now what we enjoy. And aren't you glad you're not sitting on a plastic torture chair in a tent? Thank God. And that came because they built according to the blueprint.
The scripture that we're going to read is a blueprint of how we are to reach the world for Jesus. And that blueprint is a blueprint of discipleship. That's what I want to preach about: the discipleship blueprint. We're going to read Matthew 28:18-20.
Jesus came and spoke to them saying, "All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
The discipleship blueprint. Let's talk about the worldwide mission. In this text, Jesus is giving his final words, his final instructions for all believers. He is summing up all the teaching that he has given. He's summing up his life. And he says, "This is the blueprint you are to follow."
Giving us a blueprint has two purposes. Number one, it tells us how to build. How can we accomplish God's will in the earth? You know what? Our opinions are irrelevant when it comes to building God's work. When we built this building, we didn't go around to every builder on site and poll them, "How do you think we should build?" Their opinion is irrelevant. The only thing that mattered was the blueprint. What's popular today in the church world? What cool thing you saw on YouTube? It's irrelevant. We have a blueprint, and the blueprint gives us a way to check ourselves so that we know, are we staying on track in doing God's will?
Do you know that it is very common for Christians and churches to get off track? There are people that say, "I used to be saved. I used to be on fire for God," but they're not now. Churches, it's very common that they completely change their aim and the strategies of their church. At one time, it might be home cell groups. That's the key to everything. And then they move to political activism, social justice, feeding schemes. They're changing. There can be many reasons for drift over time. But a common denominator of drift is self-focus. There are Christians, they think that a relationship with God is simply all about them. In their mind, God exists to make me happy, God fix my problems, fulfill my desires, help me reach my goals and my dreams. Sadly, in many churches, God is sold like a product. "Try Jesus. He can make your dreams come true." You know what? Some of your dreams better not come true. And if that's how you view God, that he exists simply to serve me, that is not satisfying over time because that is not what God made you for.
Then there churches sometimes are built on selling a more appealing product. "Come to our church because our church is better for you. We have better programs, better facilities, better kids ministry, better parking, better worship, better lights, better sound," and people will come for a while until another church has a better better. And so then they will go to that one. Do you know what keeps people on track over time? Mission. The word mission comes from a Latin word, *missio*. It means to be sent. It means that you have a purpose or a reason for existing. That is what Matthew 28:19 is. It gives us our mission for existing as believers and as churches. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations." Jesus said, "I, I am sending you for a reason." Every believer and every church, we have a mission. We are sent to reach lost sinners and get them converted to Jesus Christ. The focus of salvation is not inward. "What can God do for me?" It's outward. "What can God do for the lost and dying souls of the sinners?" This is built into that verse.
Matthew 28:19: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit." Baptism is the first step of obedience. When people are converted, we are a convert fellowship. Out of curiosity in this room here, how many of you were saved in a church, in our fellowship? Lift up your hand. Okay, you don't understand how unique that is. Most of our churches are often 90% or more convert-based. It's not based on trying to attract people from other churches. If we fill our churches with Christians from other churches, then we have failed. That's like a fisherman. Your job is to go catch fish and they come back excited. They were in this aquarium, and we moved them to another aquarium. That's not fishing. That's aquarium swapping. And we are called to be fishers of men.
The mission of every single believer is to be a personal witness to those who don't know Jesus. Luke 8:39: "Return to your own house and tell what great things God has done for you." And he went and proclaimed throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. Every believer, we have that mission. Go and tell. That is the purpose. If you're a believer, that is your mission.
The mission of every church is to go outside the four walls and preach the gospel. Outreach. Find a crowd that already exists so you can preach, or create a crowd in one way or another. But go to parks, train stations, street corners, doorto-door, whatever it might be. That is the mission of the church is to go outside the four walls. I want them to put up a photo. This photo, 1970. This was the very first time we had an outreach outside the four walls. That is the downtown court plaza in 1970. And since then, we have never stopped doing that. Amen. We're never going to shift from that to attractive models. Our job is to go.
And the mission of every church is to plant churches. That is our, uh, uh, calling that we have from God to send workers to other areas, to other cities, and start brand new churches in an unreached area. This is our call. You have to reproduce yourself. Pastor, have you planted a church yet? And if you have, how long has it been? Because this is our mission: personal witness, as a church to go outside the four walls. And then we are to plant churches. And our text says that calling is not just in your city, not just in your country. We have a worldwide mission. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations."
Right now, there are 8.3 billion people living in 236 different nations, and many of them are not saved. Many of the unreached people in the world are Muslim. Here's a testimony of a Muslim girl, Amamira. She said, "I grew up living in fear. I was afraid of Allah. Women have no place in Islam." When I was 16, my cousin was playing the radio, and I heard a voice come over the radio and say, "God loves you." It was the first time I had ever heard about a loving God. I asked my cousin, "Who loves me?" And he answered, "Jesus Christ." He explained how Jesus came to love me and died on the cross to save me. Even though I was a girl, the Bara people of southern Madagascar, they lived bound by witchcraft and fear. An evangelist went to the Bara people and began preaching. One leader of a Bara village said, "We are tired of the life we live. We want a new life. We want a new way." Billions of people are on their way to hell right now. More than 16 million people went into eternity last year, and they never heard the gospel one time. That is our mission. We must reach the lost.
Right now, we have churches in 147 nations, but that means there are still 89 nations that we don't have a single church in. I know there are other Christians. We're not the only Christians in the world. But I don't know what those churches are going to do. I know if we put a worker there, I know what they will do. They will raise up every believer to witness. They will go outside the four walls. They will plant churches. And the task that he has given us is massive. It's not a mistake. Jesus didn't give them a task that they could reach in a couple of years and say, "We're done." Ten years. It's never going to happen that way. The task is massive. Do you know why? Because that keeps us on track. Because there are so many lost people, we don't have time to get distracted with politics and social justice and feeding programs. We are to win the world.
The call is for every believer. Jesus came, verse 18, and spoke to them. Who did he speak to? All of them. Every single believer in Jesus Christ. Every single church. We now have a worldwide obligation.
Let's talk secondly then about the key to the nations. In giving this massive task, Jesus understood human limitations. He knows that one person, one couple, one church can only do so much. The Bible says this text was spoken. The maximum amount of people that could have been there was 500 people, because the Bible says that was the largest group of people that he spoke to after he rose from the dead. So I don't know if this was the time that there was 500, but let's say it was 500 people. How many of them were couples? How many of them were kids? It doesn't tell us. What if there were 250 couples represented there? If all 250 couples obeyed Jesus' words and went and started a church, it would not be enough. If every single one of them obeyed and started a church, it wouldn't be enough.
Let's do the math for a minute. They say that the world's population grows by 220,000 people every day. The the world population, people die, people are born, it grows 80 million people a year. Right now, we have a little bit over 4,200 churches. If every one of our 4,200 churches planted one church, and every one of those churches that we planted grew to a hundred people, wouldn't that be wonderful? Immediately, that's only 420,000 people. But the population increases 80 million. So Jesus built into the mission a blueprint for multiplication, and that blueprint is called discipleship.
Matthew 28:19: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations." A disciple is a learner. One who followed a teacher or rabbi. Someone who oriented their entire life around the teaching so that they would become like their teacher or their rabbi. Jesus said, "Make disciples." Discipleship is spiritual reproduction.
Second Timothy 2:2: "The things that you've heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others." Do you know what? You can transmit yourself. You can transmit your heart. You can pass it on to somebody else so that they reproduce what we are beyond us. As a disciple, if you transmit your heart, they will love what you love. Hopefully, they will treat people like you treat them. They will approach problems the same way that you did.
The Bible says Elijah and Elisha, as they went, uh, they were, uh, to the place where God was going to call Elijah up in a whirlwind to heaven. And the Bible says on the way to the place they're supposed to be, this swollen Jordan River was blocking the will of God. And so Elijah took his cloak and smote the water, and it parted. Now afterwards, Elijah's gone. Elisha picks up the mantle, comes to the river, and in the same way, he says, "Where is the Lord God of Elijah?" and he smites the water, and it parts. In other words, he approached a blockage or a problem exactly like his pastor, Elijah. You hear in conference, you'll hear disciples sometimes tell they're trying to build a church, have an outreach, something went wrong, something wasn't working. Sometimes, if you hear them, they will say, "And I said, 'That is unacceptable.'" You know why they say that if they're from Prescott? Because they got it from me. And you know why I say it? Because I got it from my pastor. Approaching it in the same way.
In the olden days, the highest compliment you could give a disciple was to say, "The dust of your rabbi is all over you." In other words, it meant you were following your rabbi, the one you wanted to learn from so closely that when he stepped in the dust, it it splashed up on you. Can I ask you a question tonight? Do you want to be like your pastor, or do you want to be different than your pastor? It really worries me when I see young pastors, and they actually glory in how different they are than their pastor. You're not a disciple. That's the problem. A disciple is one who does what his pastor would do if his pastor was there.
2 Kings 19:15 and 16: God gave Elijah a a pattern here. "Anoint Hazael, king of, uh, Syria. He is going to do what I want in Syria. Anoint Jehu, king of Israel. He'll do what I want in Israel. And anoint Elisha, prophet in your place. He is going to do what you would do." And that's going to keep on going after you're gone. See, discipleship releases the power of multiplication. The only way that we can reach the entire world is through multiplication.
If you were offered a job, and that job was only going to last 30 days, and they said to you, "We're going to let you choose the salary structure. Which salary do you want? Number one, we will pay you $100,000 for 30 days' work." Some of you say, "Where is that job? Sign me up today." Or they say, "You have another option. You can work, and after one day's work, we will pay you one penny, one cent. But for 30 days, we'll double your salary." That means you work all day long, and at the end of the day, you get 1 cent. That means come back tomorrow, work an entire day, you get to double your salary, you get two cents. Woohoo. The third day, you get to double it. 4 cents. The fourth day, 8 cents. Would you take that? If you're smart, you'll take the doubled salary every day for 30 days. Because if you did, at the end of it, through the power of multiplication, you will get paid $10,737,418.24. That is the power of multiplying, or multiplication.
See, this is true in discipleship and church planting. I have from time to time people send me letters and emails, and and these are estimates of our church growth. So sometimes these are mathematicians or different ones. I had a a mathematician. I want to show you this if they're going to put the up on the screen. We started planting churches in 1973. It took 53 years for us to reach 4,000 churches, January 2025. And according to his calculations, it only going to take another 13 years for us to reach 10,000 churches. That would happen in 2038. And then it would only take another 41, uh, years to reach 100,000 churches, and that would be in 2079. That is the power of multiplication.
I showed that to someone, and they said, "But actually, that's not accurate." Go to the next one. They said, "According to the compound annual growth rate." I confess, in mathematics, I was looking at girls and causing trouble. Okay, I didn't, I didn't pay attention. The compound annual growth rate, and I deliberately have been very conservative. Our actual compound growth rate, annual growth rate, is 19%, but I chose a lower rate here. We started planting churches in '73. It took 53 years to reach 4,000 in January 2025. But according to the compound annual growth rate, we'll reach 10,000 churches nine more years, 2035, and reach a 100,000 churches by 2047. That is the power of multiplication. Amen. That is how we can reach the world is to multiply.
What that means is every church, your job is not just get people saved. Your job is to make disciples and plant them out so that you now multiply the power of your labors. Every pastor here, you have been given a discipleship strategy, and it's found in our verse. Strategy number one: You want to make disciples, you must first make converts. Verse 19: "baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit." The problem if you, I call them religious people, and I'm not talking about people who are cultural, you know, have they were raised something. I'm talking about people who have been genuinely born again, and now they come and join your church. The problem with religious people, you can't build because they're not teachable. Some of you are pioneering, you're learning that you had some people come, "We, we love your church. We're going to come to. We love your church." And the moment they come into your church, they say, "Why do you do it that way? You need to change it and do it like the church you are not happy with." Then why didn't you stay there? They're not teachable. But converts, converts are grateful. Converts are committed. Converts are teachable. You got to make converts if you're going to make disciples.
And number two, you must preach for obedience. Verse 20: "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you." You know, if people are not going to obey God, if they're not going to surrender their lives to God, they will never become disciples. Pastors sometimes make a a mistake. They try to make it easy for disciples. They have no requirements. "It's okay, bro. Come when you want. Live how you want. Give whatever you want. Dress how you want. Look how you want." That's okay. You're never going to make disciples that way. We must insist that they observe all things that I've commanded you. There's a cost to following Jesus, and that is built into discipleship. We must insist you are no longer going to live for yourself, no longer going to live for simply what's popular, live what is, uh, your culture. You are going to let the word of God determine your entire life.
Last night, we had Liban Brittleto from South Africa, Johannesburg, South Africa. He was saved when Lisa and I pastored in Eldorado Park in Johannesburg, South Africa. And he reminded me last night of something he said. I heard Pastor Greg say over and over again publicly from the pulpit, "If you're looking for a cheap church that won't ask anything of you and won't challenge you to give money, The Potter's House is probably not for you." And he said, he would tell us, "This is an expensive church. It will cost you something to come here." Do you know why? Because we are going to reach the world, man.
Let's talk finally about worldwide power. The command that Jesus gave them is outrageous. Reach the whole world. Think about that. There are only 11 apostles in that crowd. What are we supposed to do? Reach the whole. Imagine that would be today if Jesus told 11 men, "Guess what, guys? You're going to reach the whole 8.3 billion." That means each of you, you're responsible for 754 billion, 545 million. That's you. That's your job. That is outrageous. The only way that we can do God's will is if God gives us supernatural power.
Matthew 28:18: "Jesus came and said, 'All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.'" Authority is the right to use someone else's power. Jesus said, "I'm going to give you God's miracle power." You know, a skinny little policeman weighing 150 pounds, he can get out in the middle of the road and put up a hand. He can stop a truck weighing 80,000 pounds. Not because his 150 is going to put a dent in that 80,000, but because he has authority behind him. There is, if you don't stop, I got friends. Authority is the starting point of world evangelism.
Verse 19: "Go therefore." What's the therefore? Because he said, "I have all authority." God's power will make everything that God calls us to do possible. There is miracle equipping. Some of you, you are afraid. "I won't be able to do God's will." You can't, but God can. "All authority is given to me." That's what Jesus said. God can make you able to do his will.
Verse 20: "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Miracle guidance. God will guide you supernaturally to the people we need to meet and and, uh, uh, the place we need to be. Paul, his companions in Acts 16, led by negative circumstances and a vision to a woman named Lydia, who had an open heart, and a church was established. Miracle converts. It was glorious. Both services yesterday, both Dan Stefen and Lebanon showed photos of converts on the other side of the world, transformed lives. God can cause people to want to live for him. God prepared Cornelius. He was ready to hear a word from God. Miracle healing. God can heal bodies in order to open hearts and draw other people. Malta, a miracle of healing, opened the hearts of the Maltese people. Miracle deliverance. A demon is cast out of a girl in Acts 16, and that made impact. Miracle protection. Mark 16:18: "They'll take up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them." God can protect us physically. He can protect us from demonic attacks. Miracle provision. It takes lots of money to reach the world. But when we obey and go, God can open people's hearts that they want to help us financially. Lydia opened her home and provided. You know, God will bless people who will obey God in world evangelism. Philippians 4:19: "My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
And then there's the presence. "I am with you always," is verse 20. "Even to the end of the age." Jesus says, "I'm going with you." That's why we can send young couples. We can send inexperienced couples because they're not going alone. There is nothing that you can face that is going to cause you to be alone. I have felt that presence of God here in America. I have felt that presence in Australia. I have felt it in South Africa, laboring for God. And so Jesus gives his followers an outrageously large task, and he does so with confidence. I know that you can do it if we simply obey the blueprint. We're not here to think up a new thing and a new way. It's there. Matthew 28:19 and 20 is the blueprint. And if we will follow the blueprint, I am telling you, the gospel works. It works in every city, every state, every race, every class, every nation, every language. Amen. We need to follow the blueprint.
I close to this. They can put up a a photo. This man on the screen, his name is Stanley Tam. Stanley Tam was struggling to build his business, the United States Plastics Corporation, but he was a Christian. He felt God speak to him. God told him to turn his business over to him. So Stanley Tam, the lawyer, probably thought he was crazy. He went into a lawyer's office and he made up a legal contract giving 51% ownership of his company to a nonprofit that would use all of the profits for God's kingdom. And his business exploded. He started giving to a mission society called, uh, uh, an organization called One Mission Society on the condition that they're going to use the resources directly toward evangelism and church planting. Stanley Tam was a good businessman, and he kept excellent records. Before he died, he said, "I have helped over 40,000 people come to Jesus Christ." Today, later on his business, he turned over 100% of the profits so that they would invest in evangelism. One Mission Society ministers in 83 different nations. They say their ministry gets someone saved every 31 seconds. They say they plant 6,000 churches a year. Thank God when God told Stanley Tam a blueprint, thank God that he followed it because there are people who are saved today and still getting saved because he followed the blueprint. We have a blueprint that we are called to follow, and that is called the discipleship blueprint.
Let's bow our heads. Thank God. Close our eyes. All across this place. Thank God. There are people here. Before we do anything else, some of you have never started with step one. You have never been converted. You've never turned from your sin and surrendered your life to Jesus Christ. I am preaching Jesus Christ and Him crucified. He died on the cross. He can set you free. He can change your life, deliver you from habits, depression. God can do a miracle in you. But you have to surrender to Him. I'm asking, how many are here tonight? First of all, you are not right with God. And before we do anything else, you want to pray. You want God to do a miracle and save you from your sin. If that's what you want, lift up your hand right now so I can see it. How many would there be? Hold it up high. Thank you. I see that hand. Amen. Hands are going up at the back. God bless you. How many others? Lift up your hand. I'm not right with God. I want to get saved. Hold it up high so I can see it for a moment. Thank God.
How many backsliders? You were saved. You turned your back on God. Tonight, you can come home. You can get right. Backslider, lift up your hand. I need to get right with God. Thank God. I want every one of you raised your hand. Come here. Come out of your seat right now. Stand up. Come here. We're going to have someone pray with you. Thank you. Thank God for honest people. Thank God. Others, if you raised your hand, I want you to come right now. We're going to have someone pray with you. We're going to believe God to save you. Thank God for these honest hearts. Amen. Just kneel down right here. There you go. And they're going to pray. Thank God.
Everyone else, I want you to stand up to your feet. I gave you a challenge about the discipleship blueprint. This is how we can reach the world. I want you to come to the altar and talk to God. God spoke to some of you about obedience, others about church planting, others about committing yourself to discipleship. This is how we're going to reach the world. They're going to sing while people are coming and seeking God.
Lord, reign in me. Reign in me. So the Lord reign in me. Captivate my hope. God, we thank you for your goodness. Let your kingdom come there. Thank you, Jesus, for your goodness, Lord God, that your will be done. Reign in me, sovereign Lord, reign in me. Reign in me. Reign in me. Sovereign Lord, reign in me. Reign in me, sovereign Lord, reign in me. Captivate my heart. Captivate my heart. Establish there. Be let your will be done. Reign in his sovereign Lord. Reign in me. Reign in me. Sovereign Lord.
Now let's worship God together right now. Father God, we thank you. Oh God, thank you. Hallelujah. Lord God, we thank you and we praise you, Lord God. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise God. Praise God.
Now, I want to pray that God is going to help us this week in discipleship. God, I pray right now this week there is going to be a spirit of discipleship. God, let there be people that will surrender to become disciples. God, let them surrender their lives that they're going to line up with your will. Let them hear the call. God, there are pastors here, you are going to impress upon them. God, they're going to commit themselves to pouring their lives into making disciples. Make it a passion and help them. God, I'm praying they're going to be people that you're going to speak to them. That they're going to be called to other nations and reproduce and make disciples, Lord God, of converts in other nations. And God, there are pastors here, you're going to deal with them that they will obey our command given in Matthew 28. And they are going to send disciples this week. And I am looking forward to all that you're going to do because this work belongs to you in Jesus name. Amen.

Then I want to pray, uh, for the sick. Just, uh, God spoke to me just a few things, and I want to pray. Uh, there's someone that you have, uh, in your diaphragm, and I think this was due to some kind of injury. Your diaphragm has split or or ruptured, and this causes difficulties in breathing. Your organs kind of pushed through, and that causes breathing difficulties. I want to pray for someone that you had a car accident. You were not wearing a seatbelt, and you smashed your face. Since that time, there's been ongoing problems in in, in your jaws and, and, uh, in pain, in sinus, different areas of your head. I want to pray God's going to heal you. And then I want to pray for somebody else that you were in a car accident, and, uh, I, I believe that the car, just so you know, it's you. The car was blue in color, and it rolled. And when it rolled, part of that was it pressed down on your neck, and you've had ongoing neck problems. So those are three of the ones that God wants to heal.
But how many of you need healing in your body? Lift up your hands. Amen. Thank God. You need healing, an injury, sickness, disease. I want you to put your hand on your body where the problem is. You got more than one, put it on your head. We're going to pray right now.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command healing power to come in these bodies. I rebuke sickness, that spirit of infirmity, loose your hold. I rebuke injuries right now. These diseases will go. I speak life, healing power into their lungs. I command these hearts beat normally. Normal pressure. Let those veins open right now in Jesus name. A miracle. Those tumors, I curse them. Leave right now. Be healed in Jesus name.
Let's give God a clap offering. Thank God. Thank God for His goodness. Praise God.
Now, I want you to check yourself right now. If there was a way, if there was pain, I want you to move that, bend, listen, look, whatever you could do to test it right now. We're going to have a great week. This week, we are emphasizing discipleship.
