Transcription

Hey YouTube family, my name is Kaylee and thank you for joining us today. If you haven't already, please subscribe to our YouTube channel so that you can stay up to date each week. And we believe that God has a powerful word for you. So let's dive right in.

If you're taking notes today, the title of my sermon is If My People. If my people. In times of darkness, God is worried about his people. In times of calamity, God is worried about his people. In times of brokenness, God is worried about his people. Everything that's happening in the world, God is looking for one thing. He's looking for the response of his people. What is his people? God ain't worried about what the world is going to do. The world has been the world. They're going to be the world. Okay? And they're going to get darker. But it's okay because God responds to our nation based on his people. And if his people are doing what they're supposed to do, if they're loving how they're supposed to love, if they're serving how they're supposed to serve, if they're praying how they're supposed to pray, then God will come and he would respond. God is saying, "If my people, I want you to know you are the people of God, which means you are the solution." Which means you're not going to turn on your news to find a solution. You're not going to take out your cell phone and get on Facebook to find a solution. You are the solution. Do you know that we're the only people on this planet that can heal this nation? We're the only ones.

Unity starts here. God is calling us to be a bridge. We can't expect politics to do it. They've never done it. They never will. We can't expect people that don't know Christ to do it. We're the solution. Which means it's not a time for us to get afraid or get disheartened in times like this. It's a time for us to stand up and be the church because we know the answer and God has called us to be the solution. We know the answer and God's called us to be the solution. So, I have a question for you and I will spend the rest of my time preaching to answer this question. Um, God is omnipotent. It's a big word, fancy word, churchy word, omnipotent. Do you know what omnipotent means? It means that God is all power. God's all power. He has all power. All power, all might, all strength is in God's hands.

God is omnisient, which means God is all knowing. He knows everything. Like, did it occur to you that nothing has never occurred to God? Like, nothing occurs to God. Like, did you discover that God can't discover? Did you learn that God can't learn? Did you find out that God can't find out? He's omnisient, which means God is all knowing. And then God is sovereign, which means that God is in control of this world. So if God is all powerful, if God is all knowing, and if God is in all control, then why does God need you? And he does. But why? If God has all the power, all the wisdom and knowledge, and all the ability to do what he wants, why does he need us? If God is the answer, why would he use us to be the solution? I don't know. Let's find out. You have your Bibles, go to the book of Psalms, chapter 138. Psalms got a lot of chapters, guys. Psalms 138. I'll give you a second to get there. We're going to ask if God has all power, all knowledge, all wisdom and all ability. And if he's in all, if he's if he's in control of all, then why does God need us? And why should and why would we pray if God has all the power, all the knowledge, all the wisdom, and he's has all the control? What's the point of us praying? We're going we're going to answer that today. And I believe it's going to bring healing and restoration to our nation. Psalms 138:2 says, "And I will worship toward your holy temple." So, we're worshiping towards this holy temple. And I will praise your name. So, we're praising his name for your loving kindness in your truth. For his loving, he's loving and he's kind and he's the God of truth. So he's not just truth, but he's truth in love. For you have put your word above your name. Okay, let's figure out what that means. God has put his word above his name. What is God's name? God has many names. When it says put his word word above his name, it's talking about all his names plural. It's not just talking about like his name like like his names like all of his names. God has put his word above his name. What is the name of God? The name of God encompasses every aspect of God. So when we talk about the name of God, we're talking about the wisdom of God, the power of God, the provision of God, uh uh the peace of God, the presence of God. So when we we talk about his name, we're talking about every aspect of him. If I called you up here by your name, everything about you comes. Your body comes, your mind comes, your lessons come, come, your wisdom comes, like everything your bank account comes, everything you have access to, even your family, you as a representative of your family. When you come up, your family comes, everything attached to you comes because everything about you, everything that you have and you possess is attached to your name. Right? So God's name is is God's powers, his being, it's it's his authorities, every part of God. And what is God's word? His word is his legislation. It's his law. It's his constitution. It's it's it's it's what he's built his kingdom around. It's the Bible. The Bible is the word of God. And whatever God speaks, whatever he says out of his mouth is his word. So the Bible says, "You have exalted your word above your name." What is it saying? It's saying that his word comes before his name which means his word is above his name which means that God is submitted to his word. So the way the world looks is this is the order of the world. It's God's word it's God which is the godhead the trinity and then it's us and then it's the world. So this is our this is the order that God has put in place. So everything submits to something. There's only one thing that hangs in the balance of the universe and that's God's word. It sits alone. It hangs in the balance by itself. It hangs and then God comes under his word and then Jesus comes under the father and then the Holy Spirit comes under Jesus and then the husband comes under the Holy Spirit and then the mom and then the kids and this is the order that God has put in place. He put his word above his name. Which means God has asked you to submit to something. But he said even I God submits to something. I submit to my word. Which is good news because God said I'm not a man that I should lie. Which means if God says something, guess what it is? Because God can't lie. The devil can only lie. He's the father of lies. He was the liar from the beginning. God can't lie. So if God can't lie, that means whenever God speaks, it becomes law. And this law that can't be broken. His word is a law that can't be broken. People say the Bible contradicts itself. No, it does not. God can't contradict himself because he's not a mandate. He shall lie. God word is law. It doesn't break. It doesn't bend. It doesn't snap. It is law. And God says his word don't return void. Which means when he speaks his word, his word goes out into the world. It grabs what it's supposed to grab and it brings it back to God. Because his word never comes back empty-handed. It never comes back void. God's word is powerful. It's true and it's good and it can't be refuted. Which means if God says he won't destroy the world with water again, what does that mean? He won't do it. He can't do it. Everyone says, "Is there something God can't do?" Yes. There's only one thing God can't do. He can't lie. He can't lie. And he can't break his word. Which means God can do everything until he speaks. Because the moment he speaks, he has to submit to what he said. Ah, we're going somewhere. We're going somewhere. We're building. We're building. So God can do anything. But when he speaks, he can't lie. He can't lie. He's not a man that he shall lie. And God says something in his word that I personally wish he didn't say. In Genesis chapter 1, God said, "I have given dominion to mankind." The word dominion comes from the word king dominion. And to have king dominion means to have authority. Which means God says, "I have given authority of the earth to mankind. So people are like, why? If there's such a loving God, why is he allowing all this evil in the world? He's not. You are. Cuz he gave you king dominion. If there's such a loving God, why is he allowing all these tragedies to happen? He's not. We are. He's giving us authority over the world. Which means everything that's happening bad in the world is because we had authority. If God had authority, the world would look like heaven, which is in perfect peace, perfect unity, and perfect harmony. So we as the people of God, we have to use our authority. We have to stand in the gap. We have to be what God has called us to be. And when we use our authority, when we stand in the gap, when we be what God has called us to be, we can bring healing and restoration to the world. If his people would be his people and let him be their God, we can bring healing. We can bring solutions. We can bring restoration. We can bring strength to our world. This is the Bible. This is how it works. So what happens is soon as people stop obeying God, they turn from God. They turn to sin. They don't humble themselves. They exalt themselves. They get into pride. They think they're the answer outside of God. All of a sudden, when this happens, God cannot come down and fix our problems because he wants to fix our problems with us and through us. But he can't work with us because we won't work with him. God uses mankind. Do you know when God gets ready to do something in the earth, he always uses his people? He always comes to his people. He always talks to his people. When God wanted to get ready to deliver the Israelites, he didn't just deliver them. He went to a man. He went to Moses and said, "Moses, I've seen the oppression of my people. I want to deliver them." Moses said, "God, let's do it." God says, "I'm going to do it through you because you've been given king dominion over the earth. I'm going to work through you." Whenever Sodom and Gomorrah was full of sin, full of evil, God wanted to burn it down. And God was getting ready to burn Sodom and Gomorrah down. And Abraham said, "Lord, stop." And God stopped. How could Abraham stop God? Because God gave him king dominion. And if God wants to do something in the earth, he needs the agreement of man because he's given man his authority. I'll prove this through the Bible in a second. So Abraham, he comes to God because he realizes the authority that God has given mankind. So he comes to God to actually negotiate with God. He's like, "God, if I found 50 righteous, will you spare Sodom?" And God said, "Yeah, I'll do it." Everyone's like, "What? Okay. Well, God, give me a second. I'll be right back." He goes, "Dang, they ratchet over here. Look what they posting. They're hateful over here. People are fighting. They're divided. Oh my Lord. Um, what if we found 45?" The Lord's like, "Okay, 45 is cool. Find 45." They're still fighting. No one wants to pray. No, no, no one reading their Bible. 40. 40. He looks, can't find 40. 30. God said, "Okay, 30." Couldn't find 30. 20. He looks, he couldn't find 20. He said, "Okay, God. 10." Then 10. I know I can find 10. I got my cousin L them, my my sister them, my K folk. I can find 10. Okay, Lord, I couldn't find 10. Burn it down. And then God burnt it down. But he was able to negotiate with God because he had dominion. He had authority. This is why Jesus had to die such a gruesome death. Because mankind sinned against God. And because mankind sinned, they had kingdom minion, which means they had authority. And since man sin, guess what? Man had to pay for sin. Man couldn't pay for sin. So God stepped out of divinity, came down to humanity. He couldn't find a perfect man. So he stepped out of heaven and became one. And he died for sin as a man so he can pay as a man because mankind can only heal this earth because they've been given king dominion. Which means when God wants to work through this earth, he has to work through mankind. That's you too, women of God. Come on, talk to me. God works through mankind and this is how the world works. So when you see evil, when you see tragedy, when you see all these heinous things that are happening in our world, it's because the people of God, God's people, aren't being what God has assigned them to be. If God's people would stand in the gap, this wouldn't happen. If God's people would would would pray, this wouldn't happen. If God people would stand, it wouldn't happen. What are you saying, preacher? Here's what I'm saying. God created heaven and earth to work together, which means God has power. He has the ability. He has the might. He can change it. He can fix it. He can heal it. Like God has power, but he's given earth authority. Power and authority are different. When you see a police officer, his gun is his power. His badge is his authority. And with his badge, he can turn on lights and you could be driving down the street and you pull over and you stop because of his badge. He don't have the badge. You keep going. I know firsthand cuz someone was at a stoplight waving me down. I looked and I hit the gas like, I gotta go. You may be crazy. I ain't got time. Well, what if they need prayer? Come to church Sunday. I'm playing. If they needed prayer, I would have stopped if they weren't crazy. Um, but authority. Authority. So, authority means you have the legal right and the power means you have the ability. We don't have the ability to heal our land. We're not strong enough. We don't have the power that God has. Oh, but we have the right that when we pray, when we speak, when we call on God, God will bring his power to come meet our authority. He brings his power to meet our authority. Authority is legal right. Power is dunamis might. Okay, if you have your Bibles, let's dig cuz y'all look like y'all don't believe me. So, let's go to the Bible. Go to Second Chronicles. 2 Chronicles. I'm going to show you your Bible and then we'll preach. This is This is your Bible, by the way. 2 Chronicles 7:14. And it reads, "If my people, if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land." Let's read it again for those in the back. If my people, not all people, if my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land. So God is saying his people, not all people, his people. It's the people of God. It's you. If we would come, if his people would humble themselves, in other words, we would get low. We would know that we're not the solution. We're we're we're we don't have the answers. We're only the solution through God. We're not the solution on ourselves. God can only work through us. We can't fix this. We can't heal this. We cannot solve this. We cannot do this without God. We cannot do it. We need the presence of God. We need the spirit of God. We need God to come. And if we would come and we would humble ourselves, and if we would do that, we would begin to pray and intercede. And if we will begin to seek God and go after him and seek his face, if we will repent and turn from our sins, then God will hear from where? Heaven. And he will come and heal our land. Why does God have to hear from heaven? Because in heaven, there is all power. In heaven, there's all unity. In heaven, there's all peace. In heaven, there's all love. In heaven, everyone is of one accord. In heaven, we're not divided by the left and the right, the the Asian, Hispanic, black, white. We're not divided by any of that. in heaven. In heaven, we're in perfect unity under the perfect God. He will hear from a perfect place to heal an imperfect place. He will hear from a whole place to heal a broken place. And he will hear from heaven and heal our land. Friends, this is the Bible. This is what God is saying. But this is what he said. He said, "If my people, if if." Do you know in the Hebrew if means if okay in the Greek if means if. In the Aramaic if means if and if is a conditional word. It's a contrasting word. It's a conditional word which means that if has prerequisites and conditions and if only works if the other side of the bargain is held up which means God said I will heal your land. But that's if you humble yourself, you pray, you seek my face and turn from your wicked ways. If you don't do that, God don't do this. If you don't do that, God don't do this. So though God has the power to heal our land, he needs us to use our authority to pray, to seek, to turn, and to humble and then he will hear from heaven and heal. But God can't heal if we don't pray. God can't heal if we don't pray. God can't deliver if we don't come to God humble and lowly in heart and seek him and come in desperation. So God says, "I will do this if you do that, but I will not do this if you will not do that." Which means that if our land isn't healed, it lets me know God's people hadn't prayed. [Applause] If our land isn't healed, it lets me know God's people aren't seeking. If our land isn't healed, it lets me know God's people hasn't repented. Because if we did that, God said he'll do this. And he's not a man that he should lie. Which means if he said it'll heal our land, it got to happen because it's written down. It got to happen because it's written down. But it's conditional. Which means God has limited his power to the prayers of man. An unlimited God has limited his power to your prayer only because he said he did. When God said, "If my people who are called by my name," I hate God ever said that because if he didn't say that, the moment he saw tragedy in our land, he could just come and heal it. But when he said he put the power and the authority in your hand, now you're not waiting on God. God is waiting on you. So what is God trying to accomplish? God said, "I will hear from heaven." God has one agenda on this earth. And God's agenda is to make it on earth as it is in heaven. To make it on earth as it is in heaven. To make it on earth as it is in heaven. So God is saying when you pray, when you pray, your job is to pray heaven's will on earth. Make heaven and earth match. Make heaven and earth agree. So here's what causes a miracle to happen. Here's when a miracle takes place. When someone gets healed, when someone gets restored, when chains are broken off of people. When bondage are broken off of people. When you see a miracle, here's what takes place. Whenever you see a miracle, heaven and earth agrees. A miracle is when earth's authority and heaven's power meet and it makes a miracle. Pastor, can you come up for a second? Let me show it to you guys. I feel like you're not you're not getting it. You're not getting it. Can you Can you stand right here? Can you stand right here? Let me show it to you. Let me show it to you. Okay. This is how it works. God is looking for someone to agree with. He has the power. He can heal it. He can fix it. He can restore it. So, he's looking for someone to agree with. God is looking for agreement. He's looking for someone to agree with him. He's looking for someone to shake hands with him. Because when heaven and earth shake hands, a miracle happens. When heaven and earth shake hands, a miracles happen. When heaven and earth shake hands, a miracle happens. So, when God looks and he sees the bundance of his people, the Israelites, he comes to Moses and he says, "Moses, can I shake your hand?" He shakes hands with Moses. Now, I can hear the land. When all the people are bending uh to Nebuchadnezzar and they're bending to this false god, he want his people to stand bold. He goes to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. He says, "Will you stand bold and show the world you got blazy faith, not lazy faith, and if they shake his hand, he can show the world how powerful his people can be." When he gets ready to change something, Daniel, I need you to not be afraid of the lion's den, but you continue to pray even when you're commanded not to. And when Daniel shake his hand, something powerful can happen. So God is going looking for a hand to shake. And God is coming to Radiant Church saying, "I see the devastation. I see the assassinations. I see the brokenness in our land. Can I shake your hand?" And God is looking for someone to shake hands with. And if we would come and shake God's hand, God will come and heal our land. If we would come shake God's hand, God will come heal our land. But he can't heal our land because we won't shake his hand. Even when it came to the sin in the world, God needed someone to shake hands with to get rid of sin. And because there was no one to shake hands with, he stepped out of heaven and shook his own hand in the person of Jesus. And this is why Jesus can do the miracle every single time. Because Jesus was the perfect picture of God shaking hands. The very existence of Jesus was God shaking his own hand. Jesus was a picture of God shaking his own hands. Uh Joe, can you come up right quick? Can you come up? Come here. Can you come up? Can you come up? And here's what's happening in our nation. what's happening in our nation. Instead of us shaking hands with God, we're shaking hands with the enemy. And now we're giving the devil a right to bring division. Now we're giving the devil the right to bring damnation. Now we're bringing the devil the right to to bring wars and rumors of wars. And all this is happening because we're shaking hands with the enemy. And our job is to not shake his hand. Our job is to shake God's hands. You're preaching good, preacher. But let me ask you a question. Okay, this is our nation. And what what do we do when our nation chooses to shake the enemy's hand? Here's what we do when our nation decides to shake the enemy hand. We go and we do intercession. Intercession. Because intercession is what's called intercession. Try to shake the devil's hand now. We intercept. We intercept. No, we're not shaking hands with the devil. We're not shaking hands with darkness because intercession is intercession. We're intercepting. We're standing in the gap on the behalf of our nation. And we are praying and we are standing and we are fighting our battles in the spirit. Intercession is intercession because God says, "I won't interfere until you intercede." Oh, get these ladies ahead. If you want God to interfere in our nation, you got to intercede in our nation. You have to stand in the gap and begin to pray. This is the job of the church. If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven and I will heal their land. Can we give God a praise break in this place? Intercession is interception. God interferes when we intercede. In other words, without God, we can't. But without us, God won't. Without God, we can't. But without us, God won't. He won't heal this nation. If we don't pray, if we don't humble, if we don't seek, and if we don't repent, without God, we can't. But without us, God won't. So church, I want you to know you have been given king dominion. You are perfectly equipped to be the solution to what's happening in our world. You are perfectly equipped to be the church. You're perfectly equipped to stand in the gap. You're perfectly equipped to bring change. You can do it. Don't buy the lie of how bad something looks online. Don't buy that lie. Don't buy it. Don't buy it. I've seen some crazy heinous posts from some people I know and the post just looks bad but I believe and this is what I instructed the church last week's last week. You can't change the world until you change a world. So I may not be able to fix the whole world but I can fix a world. And when I saw some posts that was just not the heart of God, I made phone calls and I was like, "Hey, I want to talk to you." Every single person I called changed their disposition. They they turned, they humbled themselves, and they found another approach. And it and it's not because I'm awesome or anything like that. It's because I'm anointed for this. I'm anointed for this. This is not I'm not going to run and hide and turn. I'm anointed for this. I'm anointed for this. You're anointed for this. This is your anointing. This is your anointing. It's to make a difference. It's to intercede. is to stand in the gap, is to educate, is to pray, is to speak. Only we can solve this. God said, "If my people, the world is just getting so dark. Who cares? The politics getting crazy. Who cares? What is God's people doing? [Applause] What is God's people doing? If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, I would hear from heaven and I will heal their land." Heaven and earth has to agree. Heaven and earth have to agree. God has power, but he's given us authority. Even the disciples said, "Lord, Lord, we have authority. Even the demons obey us in your name." In other words, even demons that's has more power than us has to listen to us in your name. True. Even though they're bigger, even though they have this spiritual darkness and power that has to listen today, some of you guys are going to watch a football game and you're going to watch some of the biggest, strongest, fastest individuals in the world stop running when a little old man throw a yellow flag out. They're going to be on the line fighting. And when he blow his whistle, everybody stop. Everybody can pick this man up with one arm and throw him off the field, but they stop. Why? Because they have power. He has authority. I don't care how dark it looks. I don't care how bad it looks. I don't care how many demonic forces are out there. We have authority in the name of Jesus. And demons have to flee. And darkness has to bow and fear has to leave in the name of Jesus. We have authority. I remember when I used to watch this show and I would watch this little show when I was a kid and all of a sudden it was this girl on there. She had a backpack and her name was Dora the Explorer. Oh, and Dora would just go and she would go and Dora would go and she would do her thing. And all of a sudden, Mr. Fox would come. Oh, the big bad fox, the evil fox. And he would start coming and he would start creeping up on Dora. And Dora get rid of that joker. She'll stop and she'll look back and she'll say, "Swiper, no swiping. Swiper, no swiping." He'll freeze in his tracks and go, "Ah, man." And he'll run off. Why? Because she had authority to say, "Swiper, no swiping." When devils show up in our nation, I'm going to say, "Devil, no swiping. Devil, no swiping. Devil, no swiping." And the darkness has to flee. The demons have to bow. Sickness has to leave. Bondage has to evaporate. Devil, no swiping in our nation. This is a nation of God and we stand and make an appeal to heaven. Oh, give God a praise break in this place. Devil, no swiping. Devil, no swiping. Devil, no swiping. We make an appeal to heaven. We make an appeal to heaven. We call on God in times like these. Well, Pastor K said, "We're just one church and little test county. Can we make a difference? God was sparing the nation for 10 people. If we would stand, God would spare. I believe right here from Tetra Canada, we can turn this nation around. We can turn our city around if we stand. Devil, no swiping. God has called us for such a time as this. Such a time as this. Esther, you was called for such a time as this. God anointed you for this time. We're not afraid of this time or this hour. We was anointed for this hour. We were called for this hour. We were called for this moment. Devil, no. Yeah. The preacher, he preached on cartoons at church. It was awesome. Just got to be there. I know it sounds crazy. Just got to be there. Devil, no swiping. Matthew 16, verse 19, I'll get ready to close here in a few. It reads, "And I will give you the keys of the kingdom." Here it is again. I'm just correcting your theology here. Jesus is saying, "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven." Keys. What are keys? Keys are access points and keys are authority points. If I give you the keys to my house, you have access to my house. You have authority in my house. If I give you the keys to my vehicle, you have access and authority to my vehicle. Keys are access and they are authority. God says I gave you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, which means you have access. He didn't just say the kingdom of God because the kingdom of God can be in heaven or on earth. He said the kingdom of heaven, which means you have keys to the power in heaven. So if he say I gave you the keys to the kingdom of God, it's talking about heaven and earth. He said I gave you keys to the kingdom of heaven. Which means you have the power of heaven. You have the power of heaven in your hand. You have the keys. And he says, "Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. And whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. To bind and loose." To bind means to lock up. So God is saying, "I've given you the keys of heaven. Whatever you lock up on earth, heaven will lock up in heaven." What does it mean to lock up? It means to not allow. When you lock the door on something, you're not allowing something in. We're locking up right now our earth. We're saying there's no more deaths on our watch. No more division on our watch. No more hate on our watch. We're locking up hate. We're locking up devastation. We're locking up fear in the name of Jesus. And if we do it on earth, guess what? God is doing it in heaven. And what are we loosing? To loosen means to unlock or to allow. We're allowing revival to break out. We're allowing prayer to break out. We're allowing worship to break out. We're loosing the fruit of the spirit into the nation, the love of the father into the nation. We are binding up the attacks of the enemy and we're releas releasing the flow of the Holy Spirit. This is what we're doing with the keys that God has given us. Friends, you got keys. You have keys. And that's probably the problem with our nation. It's because you got a bunch of keys you ain't using. Wow. I remember when my mama would leave, she would leave my brother with a key and he would put it in his sock. The joker would go play basketball. We would go home and he lost the key. Now we're locked out because he lost his keys. What the devil is doing is making the church lose their mind so they don't access their keys. I'm not going to get caught in the crazy of the nation cuz I got keys. I'm not going to be locked out arguing. I got keys. I'm not going to be here in despair and depression. I got keys, man. It's hot. Yeah, for you. I got keys to the kingdom. Right. You got keys. Use your keys. And what happens is we either don't lose them or we let the le the devil fool us into thinking we lost them. Use your keys. You got the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And your job is to make earth look like heaven. But what does heaven look like? I'm glad you asked. Unified. The Bible says every nation, every tribe, and every tongue is crying out to God, which means here on earth, every nation, every tribe needs to be crying out to God. They're in perfect unity, which means on earth needs perfect unity. They're in they love their neighbor, which means on earth, we love our neighbor. We have the authority of heaven. Jesus has given us keys. He's not a man that he should lie. So Jesus said he gave you keys. What does that mean? You got you got key. I got the keys. Jesus gave me keys. Why aren't you using them? Why aren't you using them in your space? Use your keys. You're around someone, they're talking hateful. Hey man. Hey. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, let me talk to you for a second. I got keys. I got keys. We must use our keys. God has a will and his will is that earth will look like heaven. Let me show you something really fast and then I'll close. Matthew 6:9. Really quick and I'll close. I'm not going to take too much time because we're going to pray and I will ask for you guys to stay while we pray. Yeah, you may get the row house 10 minutes late. I'm sorry. It's okay. You should probably be fasting. Oh no, you ain't ow house. You going to fall fest? You going to fall fest? Y'all know most of y'all going to row house. Y'all need to stay for fall fest and bring the kids. Matthew 6:9 it says, "In this manner, therefore, pray." In this manner, therefore, pray. Our father in heaven. Why does it always address God's location? He wants you to know where he's at. Come on. Where there is power, where there is peace, and everything that you could pray for is in heaven. Which means that if you pray for what's in heaven, it will make it to earth. Well, Pastor KJ, a lot of my prayers didn't work. I I I don't have a scripture that say you can pray for a Cadillac and get it. I mean, maybe you can work. Maybe, hey, get a Cadillac. I'm not against it, but I I don't got a scripture that says there's a Cadillac in heaven. Okay. Well, Pastor Case, there's a man in heaven. Can I get one of those? You going to get it when you go to heaven. Amen. But what I'm saying to you is this. I am saying that your job is to pray heaven's will. Which means you have access and keys to bring down. You have the keys to the kingdom of heaven, which means you can't bring something to earth that's not in heaven. Well, I pray for this relationship. He's an unbeliever. He's not written in a book in heaven. Okay, let me stop. Uh that's that's mean. Let's get back to the Bible. In this manner, therefore, pray our father in heaven. Hallowed be your name. Which means to make his name big. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us of our debts and as we forgive our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation because we find it all on our on all on our own. I'm just playing. But deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Amen is actually a prayer word. So it's the shortest prayer in the Bible. It means let it be. Let it be. Let it be. Amen. Sometimes when you don't know what to pray, you just say amen God. Let it be Lord. Whatever your will is, whatever your desire is, let it be. Amen. Amen. So let's break down how to pray. So it says in this manner it says hallowed be your name. It means to make God's names God's name big and when you maximize his name it minimizes your situation. When you hollow his name it I it it shrinks your situation. When you make him big everything else gets small. Yeah, God is big, but you got to hollow his name. And then you say, "God, your kingdom come. Your will be done." You want the kingdom of God on earth. You want his will to be done. And many prayers that you have prayed, they're not working because they're not according to God's will. They're not according to his will. You can go to Raisin Kane's uh drive-thru and start asking for pizza and they're going to be like, "Bro, this ain't on our menu." Maybe you're not getting answered prayers because you're not praying according to God's menu. If you pray according to his menu, he answer God answers prayers. But your job is to pray God's will. And the truth is the only prayers that truly make it to heaven are the prayers that come from heaven. You go to prayer and you pray God's heart about a matter and you pray it back to God and his power and your authority meets and now he changes and heals your land. And then he talks about our spirit. We forgive our debtors as as God forgives us of our debts. So God is saying, "Hey, hey, if you're in prayer, it's not just enough to pray, but are you in the right spirit?" If you're not willing to forgive, how do you expect God to forgive? If you're not willing to heal and restore, how do you expect God to heal and restore? So, you have to be the epitome of what you're praying for. And then it says, God, yours is the kingdom. Yours is the power. Yours is the glory forever. Amen. This is the will of God. is to make heaven and earth agree. It's to make heaven and earth match. This is your job as the church. God has given you king dominion. So, we got to answer a question and then we'll close. Why did God give you king dominion? I can't answer it exactly because I don't have an exact scripture, but I could piece together scriptures and and and maybe give you a plausible answer. I don't like to add or take anything off the Bible. Really careful with that. But here's why I believe why everyone is so excited to get to heaven. Maybe this will put a hole in your theology, but you wasn't created for heaven, you was created for earth. Yeah. Come on. If God wanted you in heaven so bad, he would have just made you up there, right? Yeah, God made you for the earth. Well, why did God make you for the earth? Um, you see this typically with kings. Whenever a king has a kingdom, his kids get bored. And why does his kids get bored? Because he handled everything. He fixed everything. He solved everything. Everything is just awesome. And his kids up there like, "Daddy, I was just bored." So, what he goes and does is he goes, he colonizes another land. And when he colonizes it, he allows his kids to rule that land. And then they make that land as it is in the homeland. Wow. And their job is to make this foreign land look just like the homeland. And God says, you have dual citizenship because you're a citizen in heaven, the father's land, but you're also a citizen on earth. You have dual citizenship. And your job as an ambassador of Christ is to make earth look like heaven. And that's the job. All the way to the point you guys like, I'm so excited to go to heaven. You're going to go to heaven. and you're going to get restored. This earth will get destroyed and then God's going to build a new earth and send you back. Because you was designed for earth. You were designed to have king dominion and to rule in God's name and with God's power using God's authority that he's given to you. And this is the will of God. And he has given you authority to pray and to make an appeal of and to make an appeal to heaven. So as our worship team comes up, I would ask you guys to stay. Hey. Yeah, we get out of church just a little bit later. It won't be too long. Another 10 minutes. But I would ask you as you're in this room to be a part of the solution and the brokenness in this nation. I would ask you to make an appeal to heaven. There's something that you can do to fix and solve everything that's happening in that world, in this world. And you can pray. We talked about loving our neighbor. We talked about serving our neighbor. That's earth. Prayer. That's heaven. Come on. And when you pray according to God's will, which is unity, which is oneness, which is love, God is going to hear us today from heaven. And he's going to respond and he's going to come heal our land. He's going to heal hearts in this room. He's going to heal hearts in this city. He's going to heal hearts in the world. He's going to bring a spiritual revival out of all this. So y'all, come on. Come on. Come on. Come come come get this table. We We got work to do. in the spirit. We're gonna pray. We're gonna stand in the gap. We're going to let our intercession be an intercession. We're going to intercept the plans of the devil for our city, for our nation. We're going to pray against evil. We're going to pray against death. We are going to stand in the gap. And we know God is going to meet us. God is going to hear us. God's going to respond to us because he said, "If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven and heal their land." We know that Jesus makes the darkness tremble when we know he silences fear. He has a plan. He has a purpose. He wants to use you. Will you stand on your feet and make an appeal to heaven? Will you allow the Lord to use you to make a difference? Will you allow the Lord to use you to be a part of the solution?
