Foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] foreign podcast Drink Champs. [Music] Now I’ve been fans of these two brothers; they originally started as a group, but I’ve been listening to this album, you know, day and night, and I’m like, these [__] done made a classic. On a low, I tried to see if there’s a record that I could skip; there’s not one. There’s not one. I’ll kept listening. As an OG, I wanted to catch a little fall, and I said, no, they ain’t got it. These [__] was training like Muhammad Ali in Africa. These [__] got y’all; they put it together; they staying tall. And and you hear controversy about them, but there’s none of that that exists; they keep it in house, and I respect it. The they deserve their flowers; they deserve they salutes; we deserve their praises. I want to know who they’re gonna go up against versus against. I want to know who who want to step in that brain with Doug. In case you don’t know who the [__] we talking about, we talking about Quavo and Takeoff. The top. Appreciate it.
When you hear albums, there’s five six songs nowadays. How many? How many? How many songs? 18. 18. 18. 18 beautiful records. I mean, we’ve been cooking up for a while; this project been post came out, um, you know I’m saying, pass dude. So it just it just we’ve been grinding, just, you know, we always in the studio, so just cooking up and just painting that picture, you know I mean. We uh we put out another project, put our coach of three, but you know I’m saying, it’s been time for it, you know I’m saying, it’s been time. So we just been in that area and painted that picture and came up with that Picasso. Now yeah, it was time for it. And and I thought you were the uncle. [Music] Man, you know what I’m saying? One of the things that, you know, we want to do is we want to preserve our culture, man, and what y’all did, you know what I’m saying, uh, since since I heard Versace, people told me that that record was a year old when I when I heard it. Yeah, so you know, I go to I don’t Google; I go to Twitter, because Twitter is like the worst best [__] in the world, right? So I went, we said we got we got y’all coming on, and people was like, yo, you know, um, they just made the 10-year mark, and I was like, really? And I was like, um, but they were saying, so some of the fans are saying, a lot of people, y’all just heard of them. When Versace drop, but they’ve been grinding on us. Yeah, they’d be that hard; they get mad at you. Yeah, they say, nah, you know. Yeah, they crazy, but you got to realize people from the outside looking in, yeah, from Atlanta that probably ain’t, you know what I’m saying. But um, let’s talk about the Versace. I’ll try to wear Versace today; I was thinking about it; I was like, I don’t know, they might have grew out of that [__], you know what I mean? So um, but let’s let me just ask a question I always wanted to ask. This Record is the hottest record in America at the time; Drake is the hardest artist in America; he hops on the remix, but we don’t see him in the video. Whatever happened with that? And that happened; we shot the video; we shot our video um in Dominican Republic. No, no, no; he shot it in uh L.A., actually. Okay. But the Versace song, like you said, it was a remix; that was the remix that went crazy, but the original record was already going crazy, right? And [__] we had to put the gas on it. Yeah, and we only had a couple records at the time, so [__] that was the biggest record, coaching P. I felt like put the bag on it; I was like, damn it, they spent the honey; we have Versace going on. Yeah, we shot the video next door to um Tito Jackson, I think. Wait, did you hear the video? He was on the porch, and then the lady looked ended up looking like Donatella that stayed wow in the house. So she did. Yeah, she looked crazy too. I remember that. Yeah, Versace just give y’all free clothes for the rest of your life, a bit minimum. Did they ever reach out and say y’all some real [__] for that? No. Yeah, about two years; it took two years ago. It’s all good. Yeah, it was, you know, for what it is. You know, I was hoping I’d get like a lifetime free. Yes. Yeah. Anything, come on. Well, I’m popping the box, but we ended up getting a shooter; we got a shoe; we got a full shoot collab. Yeah, cause we definitely made that stock go up, man. It’s a show for sure. Yeah, cause you like, remember Nelly did the Air Force Ones? I gotta say. Yeah. Yeah, I did that for Versace, because remember Biggie have? And then when you realize a lot of the time Biggie wasn’t too big to wear that Versace, so what Biggie was wearing wasn’t actually Versace, because actually blacked out of glasses material and just make it. Yeah, you know, um, for years, all the points closed was like that. So because of Detroit five thousand one, but y’all definitely I’ll raise the [__] stocks. Like I said, I was really really impressed by the album. One of the first things is what the [__] is an Infinity link uh Infinity Lanes. E, you know what I’m saying? That way Infinity, you see it right; you see the links on the bracelet. Okay. Yeah, Link’s on the brush; we got the new chains on the way um on the three pieces. Yeah, but the infinity link is the modern day like Cuban, you know. Okay, like the Cuban Link is one of the strongest links, so now, you know I’m saying, Infinity link, you know, time, you know, uh, you know, change, you know what I’m saying? So nasty. Infinity strongest Link in the world. Yeah, and and one thing I like that’s like, yeah, I told Rayquan about this; y’all told him that for sure. We got to make some noise, you know, me coming from that generation and me seeing y’all how relevant y’all how, you know, the fans do this, this is y’all World; y’all didn’t have to name that that. So what what made y’all name that? And then even more so like, you know, recognizing the person that named his album, what made y’all do that?
We had a whole bunch of names, you know, how to uh the rough draft in the draw uh the drawing board; we have some wild names at the beginning, just thinking, you know, outside the box. What’s some of the names? Give us some of them. Uh, would you have uh take what do I take off in the take off? Uh, he’s just wild, man, you feel me? Hold on; no, it got to be something better than that right there. So we just started looking up like, you know I’m saying, the Duos and best Duos and [__] and I mean, you know, I’m big on music, so I’m like, nah, Wu-Tang, you feel like recording? I’m like, nah, I only been for Cuban Link when they did that. Now we got to do that, but we gotta do Infinity length. I mean, and it was actually me and my boy, one of my boy man D talking downstairs, but we and we just came up with that. I mean, so it was a rap for me, and it was just that’s it. Now one thing I really really love about the project is how you shine it like appreciate it. I feel like I feel like I feel like not like course we were shouting before, bro. I felt like you was dancing on this one. Yeah, I felt like you was crazy; I felt like it was like like it was always your time; it was your time to prove it. Is that something you had in your mind when you was going and recording? Oh, for sure. Okay. I mean, enough is enough; you know, I’m chill, and I’m trying to laid back, but it’s time to pop it, you know I mean. I mean, trying to give me my flowers, you know; I don’t want them later on when they’re here. Something like I said, man, got album; it’s tough; I don’t give a [__] with it; don’t let nobody tell you that’s engine number one; the number one, right? Number one daddy. We want to literally give you all your flowers. You know, I watched the show, man; I’m a fan of the show; you know, I know what’s going on. [__] Thank you. [Applause] What is what you got the Crusty um crust? Yeah, we call this, you know I’m saying, uh Frosty flakes. Yeah, [__] can’t get those the frosty AP. Sh shout out to my boy Greg over there in New York. I love New York, by the way. But um, least they got the AP, man. Yeah, start taking [__] to lunch for no reason, because yeah, I ain’t gonna lie, I got the 50th Anniversary Chrono for I got that, but not the frosty; I ain’t got that. So you got it from Greg? Yeah, I got it from Greg. I don’t know Greg right here; one of my favorite moments is when you guys was uh I believe it was the Complex or something and academics. What the hell happened at that at that time? What was he saying? He said that you wasn’t on Bad and Boujee, and you said what? Yeah, yeah. What he was saying? Wait, yeah, the whole time though that [__] was tripping, bro. [Music] You sitting up like he wanna interview using this body like, what the [__] wrong with him? I’m just waiting on him; he’s waiting on him to like, okay, we watching him; we watching him; we answer the questions; Joe ain’t saying [__]; we just still watching Joe like, what the [__] he finna do? So he was hating; that’s why. And so he asked me the questions; I can’t really hear him; I’m like on the last seat on the end; you talking low; I’m like, yo, what you say? About the second time, third time, I heard him probably the second time; I just want to repeat it again, the question you asked me like, what you what type of questions you asking? So I hear it again, you feel me? It just made me like, you feel me, like what? So do it look like I’m left off Badon Bush like [__] what you talking about? Yeah, do it look like I’m left off Badon regardless? So I just went left early 90s; I said, Joe, run; I said, this ain’t gonna ain’t good [__]; reminded me to me at that moment; I said, this is not good; this is not good; gold run, brother. And he caught on though, and then y’all made the line, if a [__] hate and call him Joe, but I always in the club [__] holy [__] you gotta warn me. Um, but every time I see like like something happening in the club and that record come on, I think it always just point your [__] [__]. Let me tell you why it’s necessary, because [Music] um, so what I’m saying is, you know, when when change happens like, you know, um, obviously I started out component Noriega, and then my my partner got locked up, then I had to do it; I was forced to do a solo album, but everyone doubted because it was like they was just so used to component Noriega. Did y’all yeah face that type of adversity when it’s like, you know, everyone is used to seeing three-man group and then now y’all, Quavo and Ghost as opposed to, you know, the locks or something like, you know what I’m saying?
Um, not really, because that’s how we started, you know; he was locked up when we came in; you know, we kept their name alive and just made sure we let the people know that it was just, you know I’m saying, it was it was three and two, you know, then it came out, and then we went up from there. Yeah, a little fan, you know, you know what I’m saying; we always came in screaming; they know we were screaming what we had on shirts and Brandon, you know I’m saying, no secret. But yeah, that’s how we came in, like even like going back to like like the pictures y’all see now in the album and stuff like we went to like talent shows and like when we was young; I don’t know; I can’t remember what age I was, but I mean, we won a tennis show like performing uh get your roll on. Yeah, man. Yeah, so yeah, we just always have, you know I’m saying, had that, you know what I’m saying, just that little effect and just wanted to do this. All right, damn. Okay, y’all really paid them dude talent shows; she’s sitting down in the basement Mama house; all this [__] came out at like 5 30 the north side like really under my mama room and just going crazy; she was the only one to just let everybody come in and just probably kick it and just make some [__] noise. So shout out to Mama honcho. Okay, love you baby. Make some noise for Mama together. Let’s take it to Tony Starks. [__] said eight ounces for 24 like Kobe. Yeah, eight ounces; that’s just for Kobe. Yeah, yeah, man; I had to build mine; that’s a what’s wrong with these [__]? What made you think of that? Um, I mean, I mean, at the time, okay, at the time, yeah, it was depending on how dark the I’m saying the color of what I was. Yeah, I mean, you know, way Quan tape was the purple tape, yeah, you know, I know what’s going on, just a second one, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, you know, I know. Yeah, so y’all should make a tape; it was just it was hard; y’all take with beat turquoise as [__] got be platinum. Yeah, they got a color Diamond Hall; that’d be old [__] like him is coming out for that team. Hold on. Long Live, you know I’m saying the great Kobe, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, like a New York guy that’s a Laker fan, and like I I remember when LeBron um major switch; I was like, I’m switching with LeBron; I told everybody; I don’t care if I’m a bandwag fan; I don’t care. But do you want to watch the whole Legacy of the whole bus family? That [__] is crazy. You seen the redeem team? I’ve seen the redeems crazy Johnson; it was showing the whole team; that’s what you’re talking about. Yeah, no, that’s called that’s called the LA the Lakers the dynasty, but then they got the redeem team; that’s the redeem team; they came in from the club, and Kobe was downstairs yeah going to the gym, and then everybody was like, oh [__] yeah OG and like the generation gap between Brian and Kobe is like for real, but like the way he was mentoring and signing them and making not signing them like making sure that they was on that [__] trying to be the greatest; that [__] was hard; they was losing, so Kobe came there; he wasn’t playing with none of his old teammates; you seen that [__] he did the party? Yeah, right. Yeah, I hope a little bit, you know what I’m going with this; I got a little finger roll. Who who winning? You or Drake? Me and Drake? Yeah, I beat Drake easy; that’s easy; cause Dre be talking [__] now; we play all the time; we got a little friendly little okay; I’m trying to get in his leads them; they won’t let me get up now; he’s the only one; he’s the MVP, man; I’m trying to get up here; he’s saying Drake was trash at one point and she got better. Nope. [Music] Okay, hotel lobby; let’s go there. And that was the first single as well; is that the single that got y’all number one? Are we supposed to Make Some Noise for that? Oh, that’s a singer that got this [__] jumping. Yeah, there you go. Okay, so how y’all coming with that? What was that? What was that? What was that was at the hotel lobby; everything go down in the hotel. Hotel Lobby loaded; it’d be loaded; loaded. Yeah, she took a little Schmidster with the chill out now; she said she’s saying 3D. Wow. Yeah, you’ve been out there; I’ve been Platinum before. How is the hotel live? Let’s describe for for for married man like me, you know, I probably not gonna see the hotel lobby even quite some time, you know. So you got your bad leg? Yeah, you got the concierge? Nah, man, you got a black truck hopping out with uh the 20 30p; I don’t know how the day goes right; 30 piece of McNugget. Yeah, I never had a 30 piece; I don’t think so; I don’t think so; maybe 30. Y’all got another lighter? Yeah, we got lightness. Hmm, I’m scared to keep this conversation going, so I’m gonna take it right back to the album bars into the couches; you gonna hit some of that; you’re gonna hit some of that daily on. Yeah, yeah. Yes, sir. Now I took that ass; every ball can be a caption. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Like going to chicks Instagram or dudes Instagram. Right. For sure. For sure. Making the music relevant; I get it; there’s a lot of questions we nowadays; they’d be off music; I’m sound music bars and stuff; a lot of [__] take captions and make them a song, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, we taking what we saying for real in real life and putting them in into our everyday life, which is on the ground, you know what I’m saying? All right, we coming. But that record and that beat and what we doing on it; it’s time for Atlanta; just for Atlanta; just for Outcasts; he did the beat with me and um because you know Honcho produce, by the way; I produce like five six of them things; like I’m trying to get a beat myself. Okay, continue. Yes, sir. Anytime. Well, yeah, but that record just crazy, bro. [__] Man, this [__] take one Takeoff three thousand only. Right. Right. Yeah, man. Yo, shout out to uh Outkast for inspiring, you know I’m sending everyone for them; it wouldn’t even be that record. So you know. Yeah, and say would y’all battle Outkast? Yeah, would y’all take that battle? All right, see. [Music] Mustard. Yeah. Oh yeah, I didn’t know what it was; Mustard; that was the last believe it or not; that was the last record on the album; he was gonna drop that on his project; I called him; I was like, man, matter of fact, no, I was in the studio One Night in L.A.; we just playing the song vibing out and got down; one of my partners you’re like, man, y’all just made this [__] this [__] hard as [__] this got to go on the album. [Music] He gave it to me and put it on this album, and this [__] is gone. Oh, they fighting over the record; it’s gone. God damn it; we fight on it; can we fight on records all the time? God damn it. So by the way, you owe him a record now or y’all leaving? Oh, y’all even I think we’re eating; can we bust this one down? It was a quick Thomas live. Yeah, so you want to explain the game straight up then you don’t have to take a shot, but you know or neither both or neither; you take a step, but we take a shot with you, you know what I’m saying? So I’m going through. All right. Yeah, yeah; this was made with rum; no one knows what it is; Tiger Blood; you’re a tiger from China for real; a child. Okay, before we get it. No, no; we’ll come back to Kanye; we’ll come back to Kanye; we can’t; we’ll come back to Kanye because Kanye is a whole paragraph; you can’t just speak about him. Oh, I got a shot already; start the game. Okay, good [__]; I’m bugging. All right, Gucci or Jeezy? Um, no explanation needed or y’all want to explain? No, he changed our life; that’s right, man. Yeah, I’m saying planets locked down his family. Go ahead to the next one. Two Chainz or Boosie? Two Chainz. 2 Chainz. Yeah, I love Boosie though. Yeah, Chinese, but 2 Chainz. Young Thug or Gunna? Son. Yeah. Okay, hold on; I’ll take a shot, man; they both slots; you can’t stay together. Yeah, yeah; I’m taking a shot for them; free free free free. Um, Thug and Gunna work that got me outside now. Yes, sir. Okay. All right, Snowfall or The Wire? Snowfall. Okay. Yeah, I got into it; I tried to get into it, but I got to go back; I want to finish it, but yeah, you got you got to watch it from
Season one. No, I know, I know it's cold now, snowballs. That's my man, um, John Singleton. He looked down the block. He has to try to audition all the time. He was like, "You would never be in my [ __ ] your New York accent is too dick." No, no, tomorrow the Baltimore accent though. No, no, they ain't let me in The Wire neither. No, I wasn't that [ __ ]. You can't. He sounded like he was from L.A. Yeah, Jose Toby shots, salute. All right, anything you want the next one. Um, no, no, no, no, that's not it. I got this. You changing it up? Yeah, Atlantic or Motown.
Um [Music] [Music] Frisky over here. This is my producers, uh, the evil Dominican and the evil Colombian over there. I think they get high. What are they doing? It? Yeah, I believe Nikki or Cardi B. This is Maps.
Um [Music] I'm gonna say, uh, I'm gonna say Nikki. Yeah, see, I was gonna say the same thing though. That's crazy. So you said Nikki? Yeah. So being that y'all agreed, that's a shot. They gotta take a shot. Wait a minute, I wasn't in the rules. Okay, Chris Brown, pay attention. You have to be on the same level as your partner. You see that [ __ ] they answer it together. Family or Wu-Tang Clan? Um, take a shot just for hip-hop or you're gonna keep it home because I don't even want to know the answer unless you really want to answer it. Yeah, I want to say what we don't mean. That's because if I take another shot, uh, uh, Dungeon Family. Okay, when he say that, I got to go Wu-Tang, cause we oh yeah, that'll be one hell of a verses though, right man. That's crazy. It depends on like I'm just saying Dungeon Family deep, okay, though, but there's still albums. I'm just talking about like you putting Outkast and Thunder. No, no, I don't know. I'm not sure. It's very hip-hop out there. Okay, these guys are getting good. All right, Megan or Doja Cat.
[Music] [ __ ] Yeah, Megan. Okay, Drake or Lil Wayne. Don't you go both, you guys. Let's take that shot, baby. I'm gonna take a shot with it. Yeah, I mean, yes, sir. Salute. All right, the next one is Death Row or Bad Boy. Death, rickety, the raw. Okay, the road. Yeah, no, no, no, no. Oh, I just like the Rope. You're just like [ __ ] it. Yeah, let's do it. I'm with you. Shout out to Snoop Dogg. Yeah, T.I. or Ludacris. Um, T.I. I got fun with Tip to y'all, look. Yeah, I'm taking a shot for y'all to be on the same level still. You gotta go to fire. Okay, you want the next one? Kanye or Pharrell? Yeah, my dyslexia is [ __ ] with me.
[Music] That's crazy. Um, we got Stir Fry. Yeah, come on, for real. Yes. Yeah, God damn it. That's my Aries brother. So I look, dude, hmm, it's my Moana's. It's a special version of it, that tub water, baby. Got you now. You got to take this next one. No, I'm skipping on it. I don't even know how to pronounce that. Why are you even put it in parentheses? Would you rather be loved or feared? This is these guys' questions. Yeah, I just said it, love. Yeah, love. You the fear come with it. Okay, so that's crazy because I love you, everybody gonna still feel you at the end of the day, but you ask them to get filled, you don't get no love. That's crazy. Yeah, [ __ ] you making, you know what I'm saying, making a kid and a loved one, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, you can get you can go that way. So that's both of them. Whose phone is oh, so we're saying both.
[Music] Everything good. Um, let me drinking for Mom. I would drink for Mama. Okay, UGK or Outkast. Okay.
[Music] Dirk or the baby? Dirt. Yeah, what would you say? They go, no, I say the baby. Is that the baby? Yeah, she got to take a shot for being no man. That's right. 21 Savage or Lil Yachty. That's so different, we just trying to have fun. I went too far.
[Music] I've clearly heard that that boat. I don't think it clearly heard anything. Yeah, I just, you know, you ain't know that's a little knot. Come on, you old because you ain't know that's little boat. See, I knew that. You know, I know you, you know. Okay, the locks are Dipset. They're upset. Is that is that that's real vodka right there because oh, you want to check it? Let me see. Yeah, wait, there's no way. Absolutely. Smell it. Take a shot of it, whatever. Let's go, baby. Yeah, let's go, baby. Yeah, welcome home. Welcome home, baby. [ __ ] Yeah, and I'm gonna be honest though, I'm be honest because the show is really about giving people their flowers because I mean everybody want to give people their flowers now, but we did this [ __ ] six years ago where it wasn't cool to like give other people respect and love and they think about me is I actually been through this [ __ ]. I've been Platinum. I've never you can never take your face off. I know that being a rapper is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, so I want to give [ __ ] they flowers now. I want to really like, you know what I'm saying? I know how great y'all are and it doesn't take nothing, nothing in the world you wanted to know my weed as well too, bro, but I want y'all to know, you know what I mean? That's a person that came before y'all that did it before y'all, you know what I mean? Um, what y'all doing now is right, you know, sticking together, you know what I'm saying, showing that camaraderie and and you know what, honestly keeping your business to yourself too. I like that, you know what I'm saying? I like that. I could hear rumors, but when I Google it, I can't find [ __ ]. Oh, I was actually like impressed, like, you know what I'm saying? So I say that to say, continue to do the [ __ ].
Yeah. [Music] I don't like this one. Which one? The fat one? Yeah, I accidentally anyway. Faber, push your teeth, you're fat, like fat. Okay, Magic City or Blue Flame? Magic. Yeah, imagine. I like Magic City. I like magic. I was throwing money. I was [ __ ] up. No, I'm not a professional.
[Music] You got them. I used to have this, uh, yeah, at Booby Trap, cause I see ya. Let's let's be clear. Let's just dress the elephant in the room. Y'all got Booby Trap cups, Miami.
[Music] [Music] I'm like [Applause] [Music] Police party. I wanted to stay focused for this. I wanted to wake up in the morning and make sure I'm focused for this. Was in the building. Okay, yeah, he knocked down a lot of things. Sniper. I heard he's a sniper. Sniper. He was up top. He was on top looking like a real sniper. All right, just the last one. Loyalty or respect? Loyalty. Yeah, loyalty. Wow, you got to have it, you know what I'm saying? That [ __ ] just we was raised off that, whether you got arguments, get into it up and down the Lord is like most of everything because it come with once you get lost like you said, respect. We loyal is a [ __ ]. Yeah, respect. That's why I say lunch and somebody loyal, they can respect you, but they still might yeah, I'm saying they ain't loyal to you to do. I respect you, but I don't respect, you know what I'm saying? He had more, but Lord of you, I feel like it come with. Okay, I'm loyal and I respect him, not enough to do certain I mean, certain things, so it going both like loyalty, common respect. I want me to say agree with that. Someone take a shot for no reason like I'm [ __ ]. I mean, we here. I got you. We celebrating. We celebrating. Y'all the official name of the group? Um, enough. It's Quavo on tape and it's still Migos. That's the question. That name right there, that name right there put us I'm scared to ask, took us through the [ __ ] roof. You can't yell foreign.
[Music] Cheers to me. Go eat it. That's the locks. Me just looking at y'all and saying, man, I don't think they'll never, you know, break up or never like that three-man come out of me. I I thought y'all was cousin. I thought uncle, nephew, cousin. I got false information. I found out today, but I never thought I would see y'all drop an album but just y'all too because of the commodity I seen on camera. So I guess that's the elephant in the room. Is there anything that happened or but there's some like even like before not to cut you off, that's something like I always wanted to do though, like y'all too. Yeah, just like me personally, just a bucket list, you know what I'm saying? Like I feel like, you know I'm saying it's my real ugly. I'm saying like we do music like this is what we came over together like we've been doing this. I always have one to drop like an adventure and everything like a little collab album. You know why not? Why can't I drop one man? You know what I'm saying? My band just you know my band member at the same time it's my real blood right. So I feel like it was that's something I always wanted to do. Yeah, I mean, it just instantly happened exactly. But so it's all love. It will be Migos reunion eventually. Uh, we don't know, you know I'm saying? I don't think so right now. I believe in the duo, you know what I'm saying? Like like you just said, you played the game about Louis. You just stand on loyalty and you know like we said like I've said in the songs like I said and everything, you know I'm saying on [ __ ] Loyalton. This is just about us and [ __ ] when things ain't right sometimes you got a goddamn move on, you know what I'm saying? When when ego sometimes but like I said too, you know what I'm saying? When ego anything get in the way, you gotta just sometimes just sit back and just watch what's going on. Jesse, what's wrong? You know I mean, if anybody was wrong, [ __ ] would be all along, you know what I'm saying? So at the end of the day, [ __ ] got problems that they need to fix and [ __ ] just don't got nothing to do with no lawsuit. You know, P and Coach, they changed my life for sure and I love them even though we got to that when we got to that point, we felt like we had to get a lobster. I felt like that one right. Right. Oh, lost with the QC and everything, you know what I'm saying? So just like when it when you go back and just sometimes realize about when you realize how when the [ __ ] do sound good, when [ __ ] do something great, you gotta appreciate that [ __ ] and keep going. You got to keep moving sometime when you see bad seeds, you got to remove yourself from that [ __ ] and got now keep it all broke, don't fix it and like I said like move it. I mean, uh, life like a movie, you know what I'm saying? Like a like a book like I said like people that's in the first scene or this first chapter, the second chapter, they ain't meant to be in the whole entire, you know I'm saying? They part of your history and that's just how life goes. Some people don't understand it. You feel me? Just for any situation. So it's it's part of the history and people not meant to be there the whole time. Regardless, speaking of this situation, any situation, not just how like go, you know I mean, things involved, they know what's happening. Everything is Everything. They know what's up with it. Like I mean, it's it's right there, man, like what he said, he said we say it takes that he said that I said it and Takeoff said he said it. I said it. None, man. He said what you said, but nah, we just really opened up on this project. We know we had to go back and I'm saying get them fans that hunger like they know we haven't and we've been in the game like, you know I'm saying, blessed thanks to God like for longer than or they understand more like a closer decade. So that's a blessing. People don't even get to do it that long and we just had to go back to that that hunger, you know what I'm saying? Let them know like that that real rough, they grind mode. I mean, we ain't really talking too much about flashing flash like we're gonna let y'all know what's going on to open up and me personally, I don't even open up and talk, you know I mean, so I'm just opening up to my family and see what's going on. I do that just you know how old school stuff used to be. You ain't really know nothing about the old school, you know what I'm saying? You used to wonder like a mystery like what's going on. Yeah, and that just make you want to know more, but I know I had to open up to him and give it to him, you know what I'm saying? So I did what I did. Put on this album. Yes. Yes. Like I said, we got it like this [ __ ] about Takeoff, man. [ __ ] about my nephew. This [ __ ] about what we do. This [ __ ] about how we started. This [ __ ] about I love to engineer and make beats. This [ __ ] love the [ __ ] rap. This [ __ ] ain't about no females. This [ __ ] ain't about like this [ __ ] about us, you know I'm saying? We gotta take this [ __ ] to the [ __ ] Moon. So cheers to the Moon, to Infinity.
So [Applause] if if they call y'all right now, say two man versus who will y'all want to battle because you know they say it's a celebration, they're not it's not really a battle. Who would y'all think? Can't nobody [ __ ] with us. Yeah, name who y'all think converses with us, but not or someone and we can't do of Migos reunions for one versus no, that's not gonna happen. I'm asking. Huh? No, number one versus the check right. Okay, it's a check right. Okay, I don't know. What do you think? Y'all two are we saying all three? All three. Either way. Yeah, I'm trying to think.
[Music] Because it ain't you know three, so if you go two, it's still like you got some chooses. Yeah, what's two? What's two? Right. Hell no, I'm not going against Jaden, man. Yeah, I'm not going against Jaden. He a legend for sure. I'm trying to figure out ain't gonna cut the beat. No, no, no words. I was at the verses, you know what I'm saying? I came there, you know I mean, support support both of them. Yeah, I came down on the behalf of my brothers.
[Music] I was tripping, right? I was sitting right there, close to right there, bad and it was going down. I'm like [Music] all right. I'm like for a minute we both like he, you know I'm saying from New Jersey too, so we listen to music. He like I'm tapping him like, yo, what's going on right now? You feel me? I'm a real one like even if I don't like the person with Johnny only. I ain't the type of person, but I still like if a person drops some music. I'm like, man, it's getting crazy. Left on the stage. He saw me like, yo, we gotta lock in. I'm like, man, y'all but yeah, we gonna lock in, but it was crazy. Damn my mother, I'm about to go crazy, about to go crazy with y'all. Battle, Mase camp. He keeps saying, name someone. Okay, here as a group today. All right, that's the part that's [ __ ] up or dude, Mexican, we'll have y'all [ __ ] y'all gonna take amazing games. Okay, as a kid. Yeah, wait, wait. Party Like a Rock Star Restaurant got some [ __ ], but hey, we still hear me my boy Mike Will. Yeah, I love Mike Will Made-It, man. No way. Listen, listen, man. Google says there's no Duos.
[Music] [Music] Yeah, then I'm really a group. Okay, let's get back to the album. Cruise across Dominican Republic.
[Music] To the Bone. Let's talk about that little bit right here. So Bad to the Bone. To the Bone. You know, from that that ain't you know he came up with that from the To the Bone, you know, it's a Bad to the Bone record. I ain't know he did that. I caught on a little bit later. That's hard. No, I ain't I won't even do anything about it. Yeah, I think I'm watching Cops or something. Cops, you know they play Bad to the Bone when you every time on on I think Cops. I thought that was Bad Boys Bad Boys sample. I just think that [ __ ] just came up, you feel me? And [ __ ] my boy YoungBoy just went crazy on it. Um, message right. NBA YoungBoy is on. Yeah, did y'all pay 150 000? That game didn't pay. Nah. Oh, foreign.
[Music] [Music] Against. Okay, and we we talked about not out yet. No, no, no. Okay, let's go to the Night Out. Yeah, what we doing? I feel like I'm gonna pop up about the [ __ ] production. Yeah, DJ, DJ the real. Oh, he did 10 records on this album. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, okay. I see him, man. You know, he went crazy on this [ __ ]. He he do everything. He produced, help us mix, you know what I'm saying? Everything. Yeah, he's a DJ, so DJ. Yeah, my DJ, my engineer. Yeah, I'm saying. Yeah, man, I gotta have him in the studio with me. The chemistry is crazy. So let me just ask y'all the level that y'all at, the success that y'all reached because it has it ever been like CEOs or like coming and try to tell you what to do or it's always young, all full creative control. Hell no, can't nobody tell us what do we we're gonna do what we want to do anyway. You see we came a little bit late today. Yeah, you know y'all came a lot late. Okay, President Obama.
[Music] You trying to make your own money. We black. We came from none. That's right. That's what it is. But we do what the [ __ ] we want to do. Yeah, but you got to realize how dope that is because you know the further the further you go, there's always like an LA Reid type. I'm not saying LA Reid if so, but it's always the LA Reid type to come in and say, listen, you know, when I sold 67 million with Mariah Carey, I did it this way and then you don't present that type of a plan or present that type of information and some people fall for it. No, you know we had a cute uh yeah, Coach that keep that that [ __ ] is a filter. They come to y'all and say, stay y'all. Yeah, yeah. I mean, you know, yeah, we all came from yeah, so they got out the mud and you know I'm saying learn what they're learning and graduated into these beautiful things. He ain't no [ __ ]. He just had a trash bag full of money and I'm saying let's get it. That was like that was the first time I ever seen like bags of paper and we're just talking about let's get it and before we even got into anything, we was just grind grind grind grind, hit the street, hit the street, put this money up, let these [ __ ] know how we coming, you know what I'm saying? So that's our mentality going in the game. That's how I've been telling the industry that's our mentality now. Do y'all think I'll get y'all just to do not really. I watch people do like interviews and just say where they got them from because I ain't gonna lie, let me just be clear, half and half when Migos came [ __ ] don't say Migos influence y'all hopefully you watched it, the early beginning. We showed the world we told the world, you know the world copied off Migos. We just hold the world like after we heard y'all, we know that trajectory. People made music, people distributed music, and people heard music. Y'all changed the game. That's one million percent. That loves to get flowers, but even if I wasn't, I would have still recognized that, you know what I'm saying? Like everyone raps like y'all now. Is that is that something that y'all pat yourself on the back or sometimes black man [ __ ] this [ __ ] why are they copying myself being honest? I love it. Yeah. Yeah. Can't be pissed off about who's always flattered. But now like when you just hear like people talk about their influence and they're not putting
Our name in it. That's right, like this part, that's the heart. You'd be like, "God damn, you should make whole Amigo records." After y'all like, "Yeah," like they identical, identical, they copy your whole pattern. You start off with like the rap, you know what I'm saying? Rap people, whoever's doing it, you know I'm saying, they ain't giving no flowers or calling you to get on the record. You're like, "Damn," you know what I'm saying? Get a little mad, but then once you start graduating to like the pop, in the different genres and stuff, R&B, you like, "Okay, cool." You get to, like, you know what I'm saying? I respected you, like it, but still, you got to come on and get my flowers. You need me for a boy, hit me up for a boy. You need me for a line or something, just come out of my phone. Don't try to sit down like, "Man, yeah, cause I'm a real one, let's go." Holy [ __ ] man, what's going on? We gotta take a shot for everybody rapping like us though, cause everybody's sounding like that.
What you said right there, that's right. Everybody sound like us, rap like us. Yeah, okay, that's real [ __ ]. Let's get back to the album real quick. Chocolate featuring Young Thug. Yeah, freedom, freedom, freedom first. So obviously, I had this record prior to them being, being so locked up. So what's—so you had this record two years ago? How long? Yeah, this record being around a long ago. Nah, we did this [ __ ] in London. I think it was the last one of the last records we had. We did it in London. Yeah, we had a great time in London. As a matter of fact, you know what's funny, that's somebody I could battle. Young Thug and gonna Obama, by the way, taking y'all safety very seriously. I like it. That's important. Do y'all feel rap is the most dangerous job in the world?
Yeah, one of them for sure. What else you think is one? [Music] Uh, anybody doing uh, I don't know, military. Yeah, yeah. They risk it. Yeah, they put their life on the line for sure. They don't know if they gonna make it home. That's one of them. That's true. But you know what's crazy, even with the military, not to take anything in front of us, I don't want to do that, but at least you know how your enemy looks like. When you're a rapper, somebody can hate you that's not even—and not even tell you. Somebody could be around you and envy you. Like John. Yeah, like yeah, yeah, like he's like a fan. Yeah. What's—what's Selena? You ever seen that story? Selena? The person that killed Selena was hard. He come back from his house and they caught him in his right, they're going to do them like that. That's crazy. Yeah. Y'all ever had a stalker? No. [Music] [Music] [Music] It's people to follow you and watch you that got bad intentions and don't want the best for you, feel me? Looking at your page and see you every day and be like, "Nah, I want to be him and want to be the same person." So you got to watch it, and it just—that's why I don't even really post like that, or if I do, I post after I left the spot.
Because tomorrow, yeah, tomorrow you think I'm at a location, but no, I'm at the career guard today. We leaving out. We're getting on the highway. As soon as I get on the highway, I'll open my window just this much. UPS [ __ ], like, "What's up?" Holy, holy [ __ ]. I'm supposed to make that down. Just watching, he was just—he was sitting there like he was just waiting for me. And how do you feel about people like that? That's crazy. Coming to put up TVs and [ __ ] in your house. That's—that's—I ain't gonna lie, I'll never be there. I leave that hook and [ __ ]. I let my wife—I'll leave out. Try to take the plaques down because I—one day I ordered Uber Eats, the [ __ ] just sitting there, just sitting there filming because like I—I live in a spot where you—you—it's the condo, you—you come out so you can see my plaques, but this—no one comes to my joint. This [ __ ], I'm sitting there looking at this [ __ ] through the peephole. I'm like, I'm looking at this [ __ ] through a ring. This nigga's like, "Oh [ __ ]." You start filming yourself. It's gotta be nobody else. Come on, grass. You can't go nowhere, grass and pool guy. We have like everybody hard, but I gotta watch him. I gotta watch him. I swear to God. Now Atlanta is not like L.A. Like whenever—I mean by that like we have Bootsy here uh last week and Boosie really explained to us that he thinks that L.A. is the murder rap capital of the world. It was something that was very spooky me hearing, but it was something that I had to analyze. And what I mean by that is look at how many rap soldiers we lost to L.A. Is—is that because we just seen a footage of you guys and they said that, look, they're taking their security very seriously and this is y'all walking through L.A. Y'all seen this one uh listening party? I think we're going to—yeah, walk into the listen party. Yeah, I seen it. I see—sorry, I said it's a security head was on swivel or something like that. Yeah, no, no, it's a compliment. So is that how you guys roll in L.A.?
Oh, absolutely. Yeah, but [ __ ] we still know people, you know what I'm saying? We've been doing this [ __ ] for 10 years. We haven't seen the Sharks and all them people. You just gotta like make sure you know, you just keep it real. People like this is just how we embrace people, but you know I'm saying, embrace real [ __ ], embrace hood [ __ ], embrace the robust, embrace everybody. It's like—like it's just like, well, you know, like it's just—it's something different. And when you just face that [ __ ], man, you just gotta always be ready because you—we look at our [ __ ] like we just always just been just being young [ __ ] and came from nothing, bro. We just always feel like we always paranoid for the—from—from the start. That's a good paranoid. You know what I feel like you gotta feel like a [ __ ] in your ass at all times. Why don't you protect yourself and keep that [ __ ] real? It's just [ __ ] go a lot smoother. That's a great way to think though. I commend you all on that. You know I mean, it took me a long time to even think like that because you know, back in the day we think, oh, we treat things 90—there—having security was nice. It's the beautiful era, but it's also a corneous area because so many people that was ignorant, so many people go cases trying to show the date a real [ __ ] like this generation right now, the—the [ __ ] they saying they music. I can't—I'm like these [ __ ] written indictment, man. It's crazy. Like it's crazy, and it's all about [ __ ] that you rap like that [ __ ] manifests for real. For sure. Who's rapping about Lambos and money and cars before we even had Lambos? And then we got Lambos, like money. Yeah, it's just—it's what you—I've never seen this arrow, sorry, because you can look us up. We never even said about taking note, nothing and Dot. We never even said if I die today, like we know I don't like that. Yeah, that's crazy. I don't feel like down like that. Yeah, cause I feel like Biggie Empire kind of wrote down. Yeah, you can't talk about it yet. That's—that's very wise. That's very wise. Don't rap about that because you manifest. You're going to the top, right? About going to the top, and then you're at the top. Yeah, and you're about done, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. [Music] I seen it, so I know the power of the time. It's powerful. You hear me? So what you speak comes to existence. And certain things had this lyric back in the days. He said, "Watch what you say, cause you attracted." So if you rap for the gangsters, guess who's gonna come to your [ __ ]? Gangster. You rap for rich [ __ ], guess who's gonna come to your [ __ ]? You rap for girls, I guess it's gonna come to your [ __ ]. So I mean, it's like you gotta learn—you got to learn how to make it sweet, you know what I'm saying? Like we still rapping about it, but we—we learned how to make it sound like the world needs you, feeling I'm saying? Raindrop, drop top, like a stir fry, you feel what I'm saying? Montana, Hannah Montana, I got Milo, I got white, but you got to celebrate. Yeah, it's the way you got to put that [ __ ] in the lingo, bro. You gotta—you got to learn how to disguise because why we ain't trying to see no judge about no lyrics. Arnold Schwarzenegger could not catch a [ __ ] charge and he'd bring up Terminator. Exactly. So which brings me to my next record. Is it 2:30 or is it 230? 230. Because it made me want to take a Percocet immediately. If it was the music I just heard it, I was like, "A little Diego, Diego, both my white friends." [Applause] It's a joke, maybe not, but you know it was some happy talking. That was it. 2:30 was it cool? Yeah, 2:30. Does that mean the time up here? It's a yellow, it will tell you, it will tell you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Got nobody taking a look at it. It says 2:30. But stay away from perkys, stay away from purposes. Yes, all that bad cause we don't condone none of that. That's for sure. Did you ever thought—you ever make it this far? I know that's like a cliché type of question, but you know me looking at y'all, you know, doing the studies and seeing y'all described earlier, y'all being together and rap literally saved my life. You know, I—I came home from jail, I had six months to find a job, and the job that I found was—was hip-hop. So y'all would definitely be in the streets. Did y'all think y'all would make it this far though?
Uh, yeah. I always had dreams. Okay, so you knew? Yeah, I knew. I never wanna—I mean, you know how everybody plays sports? Yeah, everybody playing sports and did what they did. Yeah, I mean, I ain't never—I ain't never played sports. Yeah, I always have, you know I'm saying, like music and love music from the jump, so that was my—just playing. I ain't even had a plan B. I made myself not have a plan B on purpose just so I can fulfill my plan now. So I could fulfill my plan B. I didn't even create a plan B or even get my mind set up for a plan because my plan A was gonna work no matter what I did. But it means you had a plan and you committed to it. Exactly. Yeah, I don't have a plan B with no plan A at all. They just like, "I'm gonna do it," and they just stay there. Yeah, I mean, I knew what I was gonna do though, you know what I'm saying? So and I did it. God is good. And out of the 10 years that y'all been doing it, how much was—how many years was the—the come up? The comment was about a year, right? And then we got another come out yet? Yeah, it was like—yeah, two and a half. Toughest part of that early part of the company? I feel like doing it on our own, like me and Jake, like making noise in the city. Yeah, we ran into this [ __ ] Meek at little wheel vehicle. We found out it's about BMF. No, Meek Mill. Oh yeah, like, okay, okay [ __ ]. I ran into Meek and we sent the young [ __ ] too, like, "Hey, man, tell this [ __ ] got down. We the youngest, don't know, we trying to rap." And he was like, "Man, hey man, I can't do nothing for y'all [ __ ], man. Y'all gotta take over the town, y'all gotta take over this spot, this town, this note, this is what—wherever we at." That's me telling y'all that. That's 100. Yeah, in Atlanta. Wow. So we listen to it, we're like, "Man, that might have been really [ __ ]," and they could have said, you know what I'm saying? So he got a [ __ ] with the [ __ ] that's already being [ __ ] with Paul. Oh God. And we already knew coming from, you know I'm saying, the north side, Gwinnett County, you feel me? And coming, you know I'm saying, like breaking the Bears into the A was gonna be hard, you feel me? Because we know how to see the beginning. Yeah. [Applause] We're like, "Oh [ __ ], that's easy." But Offset is actually from Atlanta though. No, we are from another—yeah, okay, okay. The north side. Yeah, north side. We put this [ __ ] on the map. So y'all are the only ones from the north side? Only ones. Yeah. And then if [ __ ] came from the north, they lied and said they were from Atlanta because exactly, they didn't want to say that they was from like a suburbs. We know a lot. This is good. I—I ain't no—none of this [ __ ]. I am sitting here, I'm a journalist, y'all. I don't know—y'all know, but this is hard. The comedian Juicy from the north side, huh? Yeah, he embraced it. He don't say he, you know, he from the north side. So most people was from the north side who's saying it was from Atlanta. Yeah, exactly. Okay, you know, I'm supposed to be saying New York from the outskirts, but you—I'm from New York now. You find a town, but y'all made it hard. Yes, sir. To be from Jersey. Foreign. [Music] [Applause] You know, I call myself an old school [ __ ]. I don't even care because I'm good. I'm still—I'm up in this area, you know, man. I'm up in this area. So but when I seen y'all, I would be like, "Damn, this dude's got—" So that's why I knew y'all was real [ __ ] because real [ __ ] show respect. Yeah, real people who stop and imma be like, "Go see y'all places," and I'm like, "This [ __ ] Quavo and take over." Just since they stopped where they were walking and we were like, "Yo, what's up? What's good? You good?" And I'm looking—I'm like, "Holy [ __ ]." And then I'm like—I'm like I said, "These [ __ ], they gotta be—they gotta be gangsters because—because that's how—that's how I give it up." Everybody, if I'm walking in the restaurant, that's good people. You know what? This makes it look so good people. I respect that. I appreciate that because you know, a lot of times people say the OGs don't give uh respect to the—to the newer generation. And the thing is, I think sometimes some of the OGs don't know how to—some of the OGs don't know how to be like, "Yo, that's—" The same thing with Bone Thugs. [Applause] He gave me—we ain't never had no problem with them, you know what I'm saying? We love that music and we love everything they had for the culture and they flow. They asked y'all something about um Bone Thugs. You just said yesterday I was the better hoop. That was it. I don't think it was nothing like that. I can't remember what they said that specifically. That was right. Was that the question? I think y'all said that it was like, "Yo, I think they asked y'all about any group and he was like, 'Are we just better than any groups?'" Yeah. [Music] That's how we meant it, like that. Yeah, I think it was because of the harmonies, the harmonies and something like that. But—but look, and you can—this song because it's on footage. Yes, you know what I'm saying? God willing, you know what I'm saying? If he let me make it to the age, then when I get older, I would never not embrace, you know what I'm saying? The young [ __ ] and whoever. If somebody said they want to be, "Hey, yo, I got this name," I don't care what it is, you know I'm saying, uh, liftoff, whatever you say you called River and he want to embrace my last album, I'm embrace them. Never not—just that's just not it. I can't do that, you feel me? I'm always getting my respect. I mean, I like good music now. I ain't gonna put my, you know I'm saying, step on anything. It's not official first, but it's just me, man. If I like it and you—then you did that and you [ __ ] with me and I am saying inspired you, I can't do nothing but respected, man. That's what I do it for. When you guys just claiming yourself and then like they kind of like took a shot, how did that feel at this moment? Yeah, automatic. I'm like, "Old ass [ __ ]," like, "Nothing," conversation away. And I bet you all would be on the same page. Yeah, because you know why? I'm gonna be honest, this album particularly lets y'all know that y'all respect the culture, right? Yeah, of the culture y'all belong to be here. Yeah, like this is not something that anybody gave y'all. You belong to be here. You know, and I get it, sometimes, you know, um, in the heat of the moment somebody would say something and someone would take it the wrong way, and then it goes crazy. When one person is just say, "You know what? My bad, yo, that's how you took it. No, we didn't mean it that way." It has—because I'm gonna be honest, everything that y'all claim, everything is just say y'all—y'all deserve it. I'm not gonna let y'all face to face, man, the man, and I'm telling y'all, y'all deserve it. Our researcher did everything I had to do. I wanted because I wanted to do my due diligence because the fact that I like y'all and I [ __ ] with y'all, I didn't want that to take away from who I am at this seat when I sit down on this seat, and y'all deserve your accolades, man. Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and say it. I think this album is flashing. It's a masterpiece, classic. Thank you, my brother. Appreciate it. I'll go ahead and say it like this. Let me just tell you, I looked for the flaws because I knew I'm an interviewer, so I'm like, "I'm gonna say, man, they got—they—they too rich, they can't be—they can't be this sharp," and you stay sharp on every—every bar. I kinda—kinda liked it to come up with it. I thought that without the, you know what I mean, how I'm used to hearing y'all, like, I'm like, "Holy [ __ ]." [Music] This is me, and I'm a real [ __ ]. I'll tell you, and I appreciate it, brother. I've been [ __ ]—oh [ __ ]. All right, y'all Spanish now. Look at this. Look at this man. What you got on your neck? About 300. Okay, okay. I got about 200 Nets. Look at this right now. You don't say a dollar on the wrist. Okay, that's just today. Yes, sir. We got to have 23. We live this life like Jordan. You gotta move like Michael Jordan, this [ __ ]. Yeah, two to three minutes, 200 to 300K. Yeah, I mean, so yeah, yeah. Sometimes you gotta do that. I like it. What you got, Sonny? Say what you got. You got—do you got a tweet? Oh, you got an old school? No, I'm asking where you got his neck—stay over there. You got a net? You didn't see the chain? Yeah, hey, let me see the change. Yeah, okay. I just learned this slang recently. So this chick is mixing—she's like a floor—no, she ain't necessarily like—she's like a [ __ ]. Okay, you just got a question as a man. She confused the lady like, "How every time I pull up, I'm in the mix, I'm in the kitchen." You're in the kitchen, but you're telling me you ain't in the mix, but you telling me you don't want me to be there, but you there—um—and you just got that questions like, "Oh, so is that also admitting that y'all a little mix?" These two lifestyle. Why are you in my field every time I go somewhere? If you're like Nate Dogg, yeah, every other way. That's how we felt on that one. They just showing like, "No matter where I go," like, without music, I don't even know how—I'm saying, beside my family and God—God of my family, I don't know how I live. That's everything. Oh God. And now it brings me to the next record. Messy, not mixed. Yeah, messy, mixy, messy. Should I go like Mixie, message [ __ ] said? Yeah, my Rolex has discontinued, like—
The drink I used to drink, Roller, discontinued. Like the drink I used to sip on. And that's bad. Yes, I was speaking about my uh, Rolex, my uh, Sky-Dweller, the chocolate face. I don't know why they did it; they just discontinued it. So I was—I had that on at the moment when I was rapping. So and just continue, like the drink I used to sip on, which is, you know, act, yeah. I mean, so I went talking about the new things, you know I'm saying, new stuff. So still, you know I mean, they ain't promoting it, but you know what I mean, it's all good. God damn it, man. Got that. I feel like—I feel like we should make some noise. [Music] When you think it's different, when you think something's happening, when you think [ __ ] Ain't got it. When you think we went to Hollywood on that chain, with a chain, we just the same real [ __ ]. We still—still don't none change, but the chains, the money, the change, the change, the change in the change and the chains. And when you came in the game, what channel you had? You feel me? Uh, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. Gotta keep this [ __ ] in the family. I gotta ask you something [ __ ], because I'm a petty [ __ ], right? I just want to throw this out there. I used to break up with [ __ ]. I take back they mean codes. I'll take back they Rolexes. I take back everything, okay. [Applause] And I feel terrible about it. Eventually, I gave it back, but I heard you took back the car. Is this true? You don't see it no more. But I am now retired from the very [ __ ] with society. And now you've never been retired, man. We keep recruit all the leadership. [Music] Come on, get the [ __ ] out of here. [Music] That's crazy. We had DJ Khaled, Quinn. Yeah. [Music] [Applause] Cause we don't call it a gun; we call it the weed machine. Don't forget. Yes, people can subscribe to our Patreon right now, the award-winning Drink Champs. That reminds me, Danny Glover gave one of the most amazing speeches in the world, and he accepted his Emmy. What was the Emmy? Glow? Golden Globe. Yeah. It's a horrible shot, and he said, "Shout out to Migos, but not shout out to Migos for being in the—just for making bad and [ __ ]." That might have been the most acceptance hard speech. And so my acceptance speech came out, but yeah, that's the only thing that killed it. But that [ __ ] he has shot a job. Did—how did y'all get that call? Your mom's called you? What happened? Yeah, we saw it on TV. Now, when you see it live—I've seen it on like—yeah, I was doing something else. My phone got to ringing. I think the song was like number three, number two, number three, top five or something. So, but when he said that [ __ ], the next day that [ __ ] was number one. Um, yes. I thought it was already number one. No, it was like—it was something—it was on the way; it was right in the beginning. Shout out to my boy, Childish Gambino. Yeah, man. My boy Donald Glover, man. Yeah, he went crazy on that one. Yeah, that's crazy. Now, did y'all—did y'all ever think Atlanta would take over hip-hop? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, even before then, what's crazy, I used to listen to—like I used to listen to Atlanta music and Underground Music and thinking that [ __ ] was Global. Who—like Pastor Troy? Pastor Troy. Yes, for sure. Before he got Gucci—before Gucci—Gucci, man. Even like—like the futuristic era, you know I'm saying? Money, Young L.A. Yeah, he went crazy. Like them [ __ ] was going so crazy in the South, and I just knew that they was like—out of here—gonna be big. Or I thought that it was big until I moved, you know what I'm saying? So we can't just sitting—I was like, damn, only the city knew these people. When we went to like New York, they never heard of—right? Like songs like that to these [ __ ] right went crazy. Yeah, it'd be blowing my mind. I remember I went—I've seen Pastor Troy perform, and he said if we need to pass the trucks—he performed that [ __ ] 13 times straight. Nobody was tired of it. Were you in Atlanta? And that's what I thought—that's when I knew Georgia—like Joe—Atlanta, the whole scene, period. Because no one got tired of it. And I stood there, and I went to the front of the stage, and I was like, "Who is this guy?" That says Pastor Troy. Yeah. I had the number one record. I was like, "I don't want to go on after this guy." And only I was one. And I was like, "No." And y'all didn't—y'all do a record together? This is my first time seeing them, though. And I went and said Atlanta—I think it was Birthday Bash, I'm not sure, but this is '98. You came and did a mixtape freestyle, and you recited "I'm Ready." Yeah, yeah. This is before that, obviously. You got the nose on this ass. Yeah. I said, "How do all of these people know this record?" That's what I knew—Atlanta, Georgia—that [ __ ]. Yeah, like you can go—I knew—I knew what y'all realized—up the phone call at the beginning of the song—that was oh, that he was calling Masterpiece. But you know what's crazy [ __ ] that she went over my head. I didn't know it was at this record till three months later because you know [Music] it was like it wasn't abundance how it is now. Now you don't know South slang, you're kind of corny, but you got it right. I took over the nation for sure. That's what the South, period, though. I think the South got down. Yeah. Whole [ __ ] down for sure. Texas—Texas go crazy. Atlanta go crazy—like a [ __ ]. Yeah, they going stupid. I think love they own [ __ ], and then everybody else pick what they love from. Yeah. What you listening to right now if we go on your call? I don't play Nothing But Me, man. I don't play any of my own music. Yeah, just you. Yeah. Damn, I respect that. But uh, guys that like No Minds every now and then. Nah, this [ __ ]. Listen to Everything. I go down and he play everything, but I'm gonna go Temptation. Yeah, I'm my music all loud [ __ ], and just always just trying to like go back in listen to it every time I get in the car. It been like that though since I was in like Middle School. [ __ ] Ain't gonna ride with me because I used to always play my music. [Music] Yeah, guilty. Yeah, that's me. That's it. [ __ ] I ain't gonna lie, I'm different now. I'll be playing Bad Bunny—funny and [ __ ] Bad Bunny. Yeah. Nah, I'm dyslexic, you know what I'm saying? Apparently, both of us are. Bad Bunny harder. Yeah. Yeah. I'm paying fast money. I'm playing and—well, you know what else I'm playing—um, I swear to God, I [ __ ] with y'all, but that album is good. Like I'll be—I'm being honest. I'm looking—I'm like—and I'm trying because I—I went early. I listened to it earlier, then I didn't—we went back, then we listened to it yesterday, listen to again now, let's do it again today. And I said, "Oh, these things are made of classes." No, we really went in and got like digesters, you know I'm saying? Dissect this project like we had a whole, you know, a rough draft, and we redid that when it came back, put more songs on that one, and just finished the touches. Just kept on touching it up. We thought we had it, and it just—not went there, you feel me? So we went back in and put some mess on you. Come up with idea, you know? You thank yourself every day, you—you know I mean, you—you find something new every day. So we just kept on coming up with it. So we had that. Yeah. You're involved in the production in the engineering part. Hands-on in the booth and leaving this one was a real project to the [ __ ]. We went on stage to the lights to the—to the damage to the [ __ ], the Beats to even making it sound like a—like a live show. That's how we wanted it. Yeah, I mean, like—so we perform it or just give it to the fans—just like prepare—it's just written just for that—like when you read the tracklist, that should sound like a conversation if you just read it, you know. So we made sure we went back sequencing right, you know I'm saying? Like young [ __ ], we gotta like—and that doesn't exist anymore. Don't take care of traffic. Don't do as many tracks as y'all did. Like everything that's a real hip-hop [ __ ]. If anybody ever like dollars y'all like—y'all actually shut [ __ ] up without even having that question. Because thank you. Every artist knows that we—we only actually get paid for 10 records, right? So all these other records is actually extra for your fans. This is that you actually care. I know that because I'm awesome, you know what I mean? And you're the 18. That's what I'm gonna say. We'll cap that 18. Nothing more nonetheless. Nowadays generation got like a so shorter with uh—yeah, like so I swear it's gonna be six records for y'all. Yeah, that's it. Oh, they showing off. Yeah, you give them something long, they ain't gonna pay attention. So we've got the—like we gave them enough—not too short, but like nine, because we've been gone for so long, so we know we got to give them a good amount. So 18 was what we came about, but I really want to do more. Damn [ __ ], we go Deluxe. Hmm. What's the number one right now? Oh, man. Very professional, very, you know, put together. Um, they got y'all back. Oh, and you know that's real [ __ ] because I've been on every record label. I've been through this [ __ ], dude, and I always admire when the record label comes before and they sit there and they want to make sure that that you are comfortable, make sure your drink orders is right. No, I—I actually respect that because I'm a major [ __ ]. I don't like independent. He's an independent guy. I just want to own everything in my [ __ ]. We just want to make sure everything right, man. We just—y'all [ __ ] from the north, man, came from nothing, make sure everything right. We're gonna do our job; we're gonna make sure the music that we're gonna pull up have a great show. [Music] Let me ask you what you doing versus solo. [Music] Um, no, I like that features though. I like that, and we still got catalog to be, you know, we ain't done yet. We just, you know what I mean, we got—we—we just now getting started. So what's the—what's the next music already for the next joint? Come on, man. You know that Deluxe. So you got music that was supposed to be on this joint, I couldn't carry over with you? Oh, yeah. I got music, though. We got stuff. We thinking if we doing their looks like putting on the looks, but we came up with a decision yet. Okay. But um, let me ask—there was a time a few years ago when Migos took a—a hiatus, then returned with Culture III album. What was the hiatus and what was the return like? Like what you mean like they said that y'all took a break before the Culture III album? Like it felt like there was—I felt like, you know, you gotta feel like we was on the road a very long time. Okay, it was on the road for a very long time, and then—um, we did the Drake tour. That was like 80 days, 80 nights. And we all dropped solo albums, and then we dropped solo albums who's—you know what I'm saying? Getting booked for solo shows and doing a little [ __ ] in and out like that. That took time. And then quarantine, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. We had to take a whole year off, and then that time was our time for us to bond and then, you know, like I'm just [ __ ]. Quarantine was just super emotional for everybody, right? You feel what I'm saying? Especially being in a group. So we had to get everybody together out in L.A., get in there. Oh, okay. I was in L.A. because Atlanta did not quarantine at all. Get out the way, go get—go get back together, though. Atlanta was lucid in Miami. Yeah. At least Miami shut down for three months. Atlanta never shut down. I respect—in fact, I was going to do it like—yeah. And that's how—that's how it was good. I'm sorry, but oh [ __ ] man, this integration—is that the name of the record? Yeah, it's Aggression. Yeah. Black and white. Yeah. I'm off of the series just talking about black diamonds, white diamonds. [Music] Black and white. Black and white. Get all right. Make it all right. Take off. I've been trying to figure out what kind of glasses there is. It look a little racist. What kind of glasses is those? Those in the water. Nash. I respect those. What a name. What a name. I'ma call them water now. Yeah. [Applause] [Music] One, two, three. So what's—what's next, man? Um, actually, who would you guys want to collaborate with if you haven't collaborated with—um—uh, I wanna do some projects though, bro. Songs with a lot of people who wrote songs for a lot of people. Um, Beyoncé, right? It's a lot of people. Yes. Top four. Uh, what? Jay-Z? I feel like we need to do like a R&B [ __ ]. Everybody talking about R&B dead. I think we can bring it back. A lot of you guys crazy. I was gonna say Kendrick, you know I'm saying? I gotta get Beyoncé for the female side. Um, on that record originally or because I'm here on the ad-libs? I mean, that was—day record. That's the queen and the King, man. You feel me? They did that thing—they—they blessed—they blessing. It's crazy. The Migos wrote Beyoncé. That happened for real. Yeah. Thank you. This is—mines bigger—skateboard. V man. How does that connect with him? Let's just go—just get, you know what I'm saying? Do—reach levels that you ain't, you know I'm saying? And reach—does he know you got it in you? He just want you—you want to see it, you know I mean? Why you ain't get it for real people this time, man? I don't know who's trying—I guess it's just—no offense on my bus schedule. [Music] For sure. But Timberland here—we wanted Alicia on the album. We wanted to—Alicia Keys on the album. Matter of fact, Alicia Keys. So yeah. Oh, that's new info right there for y'all. Yeah. Yeah, man. Yeah, that's one of the songs actually when you're doing a rep job. We was going through the project, and that was actually on the board, but like final, you know, find them—we had to take it off because if—no—at least, you know—yeah, you know, if you gotta get—at least we gotta get Alicia on this. Final changes, you know I'm saying? Made a quick change. So, but we still got that record in the vault. I can—we like it. We can't wait to release it, but we just want to make sure it's right. When we do—with Alicia. Is a fan of y'all that y'all never thought it was a—will be a fan. [Music] Damn. Uh, I think I seen Barack do the list one time—the playlist. Barack Obama put us on the playlist like three times. Yeah. Yeah. He said—but right—I said uh—I mean, it's pretty crazy. I say The Rock—I just growed up—I mean, we all growed up—I mean, yeah, I'm saying Dwayne Johnson. Yeah. He's a real hip-hop—real hip-hop head. But you know, I ain't knowing that growing up. Yeah, you know, I just like him as the instance—one of my favorite wrestlers. And he—he had it on this, you know I'm saying? Playlist too, like he—he a fan too. So it was a [ __ ] shout out to The Rock. So if you walked in a room and The Rock said, "What's up [ __ ] Rivera," for real, you can't bother me. I mean, people elbow me, but I [ __ ] with my boy. Young man, you ever do some wrestling [ __ ] though? Oh, he's always like—back in the day. Yeah. [Music] Right now be as Restless because we will fight is like—he might be wrong. I might be Stone Cold. I'll be Undertaker. And that's one of my favorite wrestlers, Brothers. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] I'm saying WWE and know how they run a program, but when we be doing the moves like—it used to be funny because like he might want to crank the Rock Bottom on me. I'd be like, "No, it ain't time for it," you know I'm saying? You're finishing right now. I mean, I gotta do mine. Yeah. I mean, I might hit him with the—I mean, just when you pinning me, you know I'm kicking out. He's like, "Bro, I just hit the Rock Bottom on you. You down again." [Music] [Music] Static. [Applause] [Music] [Music] Yo, man, I ain't gonna lie to you, I drink this whole bottle of—I didn't ask y'all—do y'all want some champagne, man? I don't want nothing to drink. I really got you—the bathroom over there. What up is DJ EFN, and we're happy to announce that we're launching—we launching our Patreon—patreon.com/drinkchamps. Yeah, I got another one with the orange and red—like what's his name? Kevin Hart. Got to watch game too, though. No, no, Kevin Hart. Gumbo, relax. [Music] Two different times, spot this morning. The [ __ ] took two spots, and my sister was working. I was like, "I knew that." So Diego—hey, bro. Hey, did you know—did you know he fixed it like this? Did you know that you could really walk into these stores and buy these watches, you know? Yeah, listening—we don't know that. It's a white guy who came at you. Young black [ __ ], don't know that. Let's talk about it. You can walk into these stores and get on your own. Okay, I got you. You do not have to pay right the million dollars for [ __ ] busting down your watch. Pay retail price. Yes. And I'm Jake giving gang. I really want to give [ __ ] a game, but no—give it to me. The young [ __ ] need it. But you know what I'm saying? They don't need to be going—don't buy no more watches from Jewelers. Well, it don't make sense. No distress. I know y'all making y'all money. And Jay-Z said it first. Yeah, Jay said it first. Get—get a retail from the factory—from the factory. Yeah. So—so this is God. You sure your watch collection—you show you—
Say, I believe, because this is your house, show off here. Protect with the Ruby, then you show off your AP with black man. Do you show off a Day-Date? I believe Rolex, and then you show off the um Platinum blueface Sky-dweller. All right, or exotic watches? Oh, exotic watches. There's one guy though that came at you and he said, "No, incredible, not right." Did you see this video or no? One guy came at me about a watch, but he was nice. He said, "Oh, I didn't know that was done by a junior." Yes, which is the bus stop? No. And I ain't gonna put the jewel out there, but [ __ ] you better straighten it, Rafael.
Oh my God, no, don't say it. Don't agree with me. Please say no. What's up with you, man? We're gonna just straighten it. Yeah, we gonna fix, we're gonna go straight to New York and fix it. It's it's Saturday. It's sad that New York's [Music]. We gonna everybody learn, everybody learn. We're traveling right now. I'm having frosted, and that's from then on, from then on I'm not doing, I can't I can't go to no jewelers for nowhere. Yeah, I got this from Richard, for direct. You can live, you can live and you learn, and he had a French accent. I felt comfortable. Why is this? Go ahead. I'm sorry. No, but the watch, the bezel should just be like, I don't know, I don't know how that [ __ ] go, like when you when you get a plane and bust it down, like is that [ __ ] what you do is depreciate or supposedly just completely famous. That's what I'm saying. So if I get that and bust that [ __ ], if I get that and bust that [ __ ] down, it turns it's fake. [Music] Is different because you can take off the rims and put the old ones back. So I can take out the bedroom and put it back. The minute you [ __ ] with it, that's the thing, that's the thing with watches. Yeah. [Music] Is that cool? And I'm saying this is a lame, I don't know [ __ ] about it. Let me ask you, so when you've seen this video, people called you and you called the jeweler and you say [ __ ], "I'm not right," because we've seen that same [ __ ] happen to another artist and they made it right. Yeah, with the family. But at the end of the day, like [ __ ] got to straighten, the jewels got to straighten because yeah, we [ __ ] we we big up y'all a lot of time, man, songs on their records, we bring y'all money, we bring y'all customers, bring y'all the Trap [ __ ], all [ __ ] from the streets, all the niggas spraying that money, them [ __ ] come with cash, bro. So you got to straighten [ __ ]. Who put y'all name out there and make it right? You just make it right. It's just a little misunderstanding. Yeah, it's a little bit straight, you know, it's a little bit straighter. God damn, I ain't know this, I ain't know I got fools, I gotta make some phone calls. Yeah. [Music] Yeah, it's over with. But but you said with AP you go direct with AP? I got direct with AP. Yeah, okay. So with Richard, bro, now we trying to get Richie, you gotta like this [ __ ] like a real family. It's different. Yeah, when you walk in there, they don't even want to say, you know what, they act like they don't got no watches, but you gotta like, you got to know your [ __ ] when you walk in there, and that makes your thought process, you got to buy a whole bunch of [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? Well, I don't want to call them [ __ ], it's just not what you want. Yeah, I walked in Richard's to get my [ __ ] spinning today, the guy goes to me, "Oh, you must have connects." Yeah, when I knew I had to connect, and he said, he said, he said to me, "In order to get on our list, you got to buy three ladies watches." Exactly. So you got about, what if I ain't got a lady? Exactly, exactly the [ __ ]. But let me ask you this, get to that point, couldn't you just make your own [ __ ] watches though? This conversation, did you? Yeah, you build your own [ __ ] crap, you pay for it, you build it though with the best life. [Applause] Versus you buying it already screaming, "No, that's called Seafood, y'all." Yeah. [Music] Sometimes, yeah, that's we we we hope so. You make your own watch, we're gonna [ __ ], we're gonna put it in the song. Yeah, we're gonna come out with your watch, that Apple though. [Music] It's crazy, it's crazy, it's great, it's crazy to watch game, but I'm glad I'm glad that you're a real [ __ ], you're a real [ __ ] about that because I think homie wasn't coming at you if you actually look at the whole video, because there's a part where he was coming at you, but he was like, "Yo, it's the jeweler, he knew, I know my [ __ ], I know my [ __ ], bro, I ain't gonna lie, I know my [ __ ] when you talking about." I'm like, damn, yeah, that's real. I got to finish this, you know what I'm saying? [ __ ] we know our [ __ ], and we be moving so fast and like like before we like anything with like Patty, now we got to get in with Patty, we gotta get in like each, they got their own type of [ __ ], the person I've seen that got like a relationship that I I would like want like we're buying like [ __ ] like cars and watches. It's Swiss Beats, Kevin Hart is a mean [ __ ], everybody Swiss got that Ferrari plug. Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what I'm talking about, y'all? That's real like [ __ ] like that, you gotta like, you got to go to these meets and go to F1 and go to [ __ ] like that. You know another mean [ __ ], Mark Wahlberg. [Music] He direct with everything, Jackie Chan. I just don't want to speak his language, but I said Jackie Chan. Yeah, but don't you be feeling right down left, we be, you know what I'm saying, we be putting everybody else on. I had an AP connect for a week, I was like, "I want two more." He was like, "You gotta calm down." Yeah, AP don't do me like that right here, and you know, but let's pick up the watch culture, the watch coach is a very, you know what's crazy about you, you drink Japanese whiskey? No, drink Japanese whiskey. It it appreciates like watches. You could buy a Japanese whiskey that's worth three thousand one day and that's it will be worth 13,000 the next day. It's a whisk, you just can't drink it. [Music] But no, you know, to me, real [ __ ] should respect real [ __ ]. Yeah, and let's just, let me know all day, this is OG young [ __ ] [ __ ]. Yeah, but real people should respect real people for sure. And I respect y'all success so much because I know how hard it is to be successful, I know how hard it is to maintain that success, and I know how hard it is to do that success again, and that's what y'all doing right now. Y'all had the success, y'all maintaining the success, but y'all doing the success again, and people don't know how hard, people don't know how hard to make another one. Yeah, like how to say another one. Yeah, there's so much talent, another one, it's a lot of talent out here and a lot of like good music, you know what I mean, right? So I mean you got to compete with a lot of things, and you've been in the game for so long that fans, yeah, I mean, yeah, you just have to own the lane that you created. Yes, sir. At some point, it's gonna be a little [ __ ], it's gonna say, "Well, tell them [ __ ], just leave." That's right. [Music] They've been ahead too long, can they just leave? Like I remember, I swear to God, to change my buddy, I knew I want to see was Titty Boy, and Titty Boy did an interview one time, he was like, "I just wish Buster around his sleeve," and I was like, "What?" But I I didn't I didn't understand at the time what he meant. What he meant was like, "Yo, I'm the guy with dreads, I'm the guy that I want I want Buster to leave," and what I what I realized is sometimes as young [ __ ], that's what we think, we think we can't exist with with the Elder Statesman, but their job has been done, their job is there, you ain't taking a job, you making your job. Yeah, yeah, exactly, just embrace me. Yeah, I just want you to embrace me, that's all I'm doing this, you open the jar, everyone for you, you know what I'm saying? That's fine, YouTube, I'm taking it, I won't be here, you know what I'm saying? That's why you won't be doing what we doing, so just that's all we want is a little embracement and just and it's [ __ ] [ __ ] with me, there's room for everybody, everybody. I ain't gonna lie to you, I'm gonna keep it 100. When I first got in the game, when I started popping, I became Platinum, a lot of OG's didn't accept me, they were looking at me like, "Water?" I have no idea, that's my question to y'all, like did y'all go through that, did y'all go through having success and people just looking at y'all like, because I feel like people miss me being totally vulnerable and honest. My first album was so lyrical, lyrical, lyrical, then my second album I got with Pharrell, I mean he wasn't Pharrell back then, and we made Global Music. Yeah, and people kind of looked at me like, uh, you're kind of like sold out, you kind of went the other way, but I knew I was a real [ __ ], so I didn't give a [ __ ], right? But I felt like this older generation that efn knows exactly what I'm talking about, I feel like at first that until it became successful, they were first looking at me like [Music]. Yeah, yeah, it's like, "Oh, this [ __ ] keep repeating the same thing in the hook," but they don't understand, bro, like [ __ ] [ __ ], we gotta sell this [ __ ], you know what I'm saying? We come from nothing, and they put this [ __ ] on the table, we got to go get it and bring this [ __ ] back to our families and breath and bless the hood and and do these Community Days and do these Huncho Days for y'all, like and as long as we make sure we grounded and always come back to the town and show these folks what could be created and how big we can can be. [Music] Doing something you know is gonna hit because it's at that of that moment, but later on you don't even hit them with something different, like the idea that everybody said that Puck spoke to the people, but he was always meaning to come back to the people and then give them something else. You're creative, bro, sell it. Yeah, you got to sell it, you know what I'm saying? You got Tesla, you got all these calls who make a thousand cars, you thinking [ __ ] holding on the Mustang GT, they got to sell it, new cars, New Jersey, new everything, these people selling can't hold it, we got to sell it for the show, it's a new era, and you just got to keep feeding them, feeding them, you know, man, they can't stand one thing for too long, so now you just got to keep giving them something after you just gave him something so great, they know it's great, they want more and more, just like a regular, but it's like you got to keep feeling. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I mean, yeah, so yeah, you know, sometimes sometimes you might have holes in you, you know I mean, blunts or whatever, so you just patch it up, but I put it over and just work for me. I mean, what I do, we think are we supposed to take a shot for that? We can't. I mean, I'm just trying to take one, I feel like crippled back, it's just me and you at this point.
