MaxClaw + M2.7 DESTROYS OpenClaw?

Maxclaw M2.7 destroys OpenClaw. So, before you touch another AI tool, watch this first.

There's a brand new AI brain that just dropped yesterday that changes everything about how Max Claw competes with OpenClaw. It's called Miniax M2.7. If you don't know what that means for your workflows, you're already behind. I'm going to break it down today.

But essentially, the new version of Miniax 2.7 is directly inside Open Claw. And this is basically Miniax's version of OpenClaw. So, they host it online, and then you can get access to it, and you can use it directly inside something called Max Claw. The cool thing about this is you don't need to be technical to set this up. It's like a one-click setup. And once you've done it, it already comes with the skills already set up.

So, you can see, for example, here we actually generated a video with Mini Max and Maxclaw directly inside, uh, Telegram directly, right? And so, the amazing thing about this is that you can now get access to it inside Maxclaw.

And the other thing about Miniax M2.7 is it actually built itself, right? It's a selfarning, self-improving AI that uses reinforcement learning cycles to get better what it actually does. So, I'm going to run you through exactly how it works today: how to use it, how to get access, etc. And you can go to miniax.io and then go to maxclaw once you're logged in, and you'll see it something like this, right?

And so, just to put this into practice, you see, for example, I said, "Find the top 10 subreddits about AI automation, list of member counts, and most active post themes." It just came back to us with all the research done whilst I was preparing for this live stream.

You can see another example here. So, we said, "Create a video of openclaw agents taking over the internet," and then it actually has some quite cool, like, personality in this one as well. That's the other thing that I've noticed. Like, see here, it even picks up that open claw should be the lobster icon, and then it's generated the video directly inside telegram, as you can see another example.

So, if we scroll up here, you can see, for example, it automatically schedules looking at the most recent updates that just came out with AI and gives me a daily AI news report automatically every single day in the cloud. And the cool thing about this is it's super easy to set up, and it's really, really useful, right? So, it's actually practical stuff.

Now, the other thing to note about this when you're using Miniax M2.7 with Maxclaw is that it's basically like you've got the power of Open Claw, but it's in a ready-made, plug-and-play version built by a company called Miniax. So, you want to think of OpenClaw as a car engine you can build yourself. And Maxclaw is kind of like a car that you can just drive straight off the lot, right? And so, it's a lot easier to use, and it's a lot quicker to get access to. It's just like a one-quick install, and then you've got it running within 10 seconds. Okay?

Now, you might be saying, "Okay, what is Miniax M2.7?" So, let's talk about that. That literally just dropped. And what you can see here is you can access it on the API, but it's also built into all the agents that Miniax has directly. And also, you can see here that it's holding its own with other powerful models like Opus 4.6. Right now, the difference here is, like, obviously with Claude, Claude don't have a product where, like, Claude Opus is just plugged into, uh, Open Claw. They do have Claude Co-work, but that's not quite the same.

Now, the other thing to note here as well is, like, all the skills already built into Maxclaw, which means, for example, it can generate videos, it can generate images, it can host stuff on subdomains, it's got a AI agent built in, and that's ready to go straight out the box. So, M2.7 is the AI brain inside Maxclaw.

And here's the wild part: M2.7 is Miniax's first model that deeply participates in its own evolution. That means the AI helped build itself, like a student who writes her own textbooks and then grades her own tests and improves based on that.

Now, Miniaax actually used earlier versions of the model to build a research agent harness capable of managing D pipelines, training environments, and evaluation infrastructure. The AI ran its own experiments. Essentially, it fixed its own mistakes. It improved in loops itself of 100 rounds without any human telling it what to do. And according to internal benchmarks, M2.7 handled approximately 30 to 50% of its own development workflow autonomously, monitoring experiments, analyzing logs, and implementing code repairs. This has never been seen at this level. It's kind of a big deal.

So, if you're wondering, "How does it work, and how good is it?" You can see the benchmarks right here on the S. Pro benchmark, which tests real-world coding ability. M2.7 scored 56.22%, nearly approaching the best level of anthropics Opus models. That's massive for a model at this price point. In open usage specifically, M2.7 shows significant improvement over M2.5, approaching the latest Sonic 4.6 on MM Claw evaluation. The translation: it's nearly as smart as one of the best AR models in the world, but it costs way less, right?

M2.7 achieves a 97% skill adherence rate across 40 complex skills. That means when you tell it to do something complicated, it does it correctly 97 times out of 100. It literally hasn't failed on me yet. I haven't run 100 experiments on it, but I can tell you that it tends to work pretty much first time round on almost everything that I throw at it, which is pretty amazing.

Now, you can also schedule stuff pretty quickly as well. So, you can give it schedule tasks; you can tell it to build websites, you can tell it to create videos, you can tell it to create images. The main thing to note here is that anything that you could do with OpenCore, you can do with Maxclaw. But the difference is that you can easily do it, right? It's ready straight out the box.

Now, let's talk about this. So, Maxclaw is the "just works" option. So, who's it for? Well, it's for people who want results without touching a terminal. If you're like a very techy developer and you want a lot of customization, this probably isn't the right thing for you. But if you want something that you can just set up in like 10 seconds and then, you know, operates completely from the cloud, so there's no installation, no downloads, no configuration, no maintenance required, you can just click a button and your agent is live. It's probably ready for you, right? And it runs 24/7 across Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, and Discord with a separate API fees, right? So, the kind of the annoying thing about openclaw is, like, you always have to have some sort of API plugged in that could break, and it can get messy.

Maxclaw also comes preloaded with production-ready skills, including image generation, video generation, web search, real-time trend tracking, and application deployment. You don't have to build anything; it's already built, right? So, for example, if we go directly inside Maxclaw, you can do this from Telegram wherever you want. But if we go inside max core here and we're like, "Okay, create a beautiful website for the AI profit border," right? That's my AI automation community. And then if we just grab the information from the landing page, like so, we'll close that. Then we'll go back over to max floor, we'll paste in the information about the website, the automation community, and everything that we do inside there. We'll paste that in, and if we just say, "Create a beautiful website for this AR profit boardroom community," it's going to take the context that we pasted in up here, right? So, you can preview that over there, and then it can actually just go off and build the website for us, right?

And also, the cool thing about Miniax in general is, like, it can deploy to subdomains without you having to set anything up. So, I mean, for example, here we actually built a Pomodora timer app using the agent itself, and we can share that to a subdomain. So, for example, if I go on the link that's sharable, you can see that we can share this across the world. It's actually on this subdomain right here. So, if we click on that, boom, shakalaka, our website is ready to go, right? And so, it's quite easy to build stuff, deploy stuff, create stuff, generate images, generate media, and it's super simple and easy to go with.

Right now, the catch is with Maxclaw is that it's locked to Miniax M2.7, right? So, you can't switch to claude. You can't switch to GBT or Gemini or any local model. The model is fixed by the platform, and all processing and memory storage happens on Minias's infrastructure. So, that's kind of the downside of it.

I would say if you want something like OpenClaw, that's really the full control option. So, this is for, like, you know, power users or developers or privacy conscious people, right? And the setup time is, you know, I would be looking at like 30-60 minutes minimum if you've never done this before.

Now, open core is also model agnostic; that's the difference between miniax maxclaw and open core. So, you can run core GBT gemini deepsee or local models via alarm. Swap them between in one config line, and, you know, you could actually have multiple models running at the same time with sub agents via open core as well. Plus, all data is stored locally on your machine by default. If you use local models via a llama, then nothing leaves your computer, right? So, you get a lot of control over that. But the catch is, you have to set up yourself; you're responsible for updates, security patches, maintenance. It's not plug-and-play.

So, this is the difference between them. This is how they work. You can see how powerful they are, and you can see how easy it is to build stuff with this, right? So, if we go back to max floor, here's the other cool thing: I can just close this tab, and, you know, if I have to go out or if I have to go and do something, I know this is just going to get done in the background whilst I'm speaking to you. So, for example, here it's already setting up the react project set up, and then it'll create the whole website for us, right? And then in the preview, once it's ready to go, we've got that good to go. Same with the research, right? You just went off and researched this. I closed the tab, came back 10 minutes later, boom, shakalaka, the research of Reddit is already done. It can already search the web. It can already look at websites, right? Pretty powerful stuff. This is using something that's just at the same level as something like Opus 4.6. So, it's really, really powerful, easy to use.

The difference is, I would say, you know, some people say, "Which one should you use?" So, I would pick Maxclaw if you want an agent running today with zero headaches, right? You're not technical. You live in Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack. You're okay with your data being on Minimax service. That's what I would go with. Pick openclaw if you want to run claw GPT or a local model. Maybe you care deeply about data privacy. Maybe you're technical enough to handle the setup. You want to mix and match models for different tasks. Then I would go with open claw.

The honest truth is, the best way to think about Miniax M2.7 plus Open Core is not as another chatbot combo. It's more like a new operating layer for personal productivity. Max Claw just got a massive brain upgrade, and Open Claw still gives you the ultimate control, and both are genuinely good right now. It's just the difference in terms of what you want.

The main thing I would say here, right, is, like, some people say, "Well, I should just pick one model and stick with it," right? "One AI." I would honestly say, like, the best solopreneurs or the best people in general who use AI or automation use the right model for each job, like picking the right tools from a toolbox, right? So, you know, if you test them, just see which one you prefer the most. You don't have to just focus on one single tool.

Other people say, "Well, Chinese AI models, they can't compete with OpenAI and Google." But some of the most powerful models on the planet are coming from China right now, and ignoring them is leaving stuff on the table. It's leaving potential on the table.

So, if we click on the subdomain, then we can check out the new website that we built. And look at that! It's just deployed on a subdomain. Good to go. Created directly. Looks pretty nice, pretty clean, easy to use. And I just built that whole website whilst talking to you. Plus, I've deployed it to a subdomain. How crazy is that?

So, you can see how easy it is to use this stuff. I just got the notification in Telegram right now. I was talking to you the whole time I set up this whole website, and it was pretty easy to create, and it worked perfectly first time around, right? No bugs, no technical set up. Literally set it up in like a couple of seconds, and we're good to go. So, it's a very powerful model, M2.7, and combined with Maxclaw, it just makes it super easy. I can just create websites whilst I'm on Telegram. I could be at the gym. I could be, you know, away from the desk. I could be out and about taking a cheeky walk. Doesn't matter. I can still get stuff done. So, it's a really powerful way to just boost your productivity.

People say, "Well, I need to wait until the best model is decided before I start learning AI automation." Honestly, there will never be a single best model. Just bear that in mind, right? The skill is learning how to evaluate and switch fast, right? So, the skill isn't picking the perfect model. The skill is in testing new models quickly and knowing where they fit in your stack. And that's what it's all about.
