8, 9, and 10. So we have 20 cars here. Each card is going to represent 50 reps times our 20 cards. That's 1,000. And we're going to do it with a half rep to quarter rep range of motion. And I'll pull the cards after I, uh, I do it. I'm going to time how long each set takes us. Generally, it's about 42 to 45 seconds, give or take, and then I'll have a minute rest period in between. Hey Nathan. Hey Oaw. All right, that's the plan. 50 reps. And then so that one was 44 seconds. The first set time our rest period. All right, these are quarter rep range of motion. If you're unfamiliar with working out, creates more time under tension opposed to the full range of motion. Now that we did 50, we'll put it over here. Count our sets. So, if you're new to working out, this is what we did in the prison system. This is why inmates look so jacked. Start off with your hands on an elevated surface so you can get a more full, fuller stretch. After that, only remain in this highest, uh, tension point. This is the sweet spot right here. This is it. It's all it takes. Now we do it for the 50 reps is the baseline. That's prison fit is 50 reps per set times 20 sets. Get your 1,000 reps in like that. Right. All right. That's our rest period. That one was 42 seconds for those 50 reps. Time our rest period. Can't forget to flip the card. Yo, Dion Staley in the house. What's up, bro? Welcome to the chat, bro. I give it to you. Discipline through the roof. I'm slacking. I'm slacking. I can see it. The timer never lies. Yeah. Hey Ricky, what's up? Welcome to the chat. Ivans, discipline is everything. It's everything. And I'm a slacker. Yeah. That's a minute and 11 rest period. This is our next set. Damn. 44 seconds that time. Time our rest period.

Oh man. I just started taking my supplements again. Yeah, sometimes I take a break. I don't take them so consistently. I get sick of taking it. Took them all today though. Found an empty stomach with a cup of coffee. I just got to make sure my stomach, uh, doesn't go all crazy. All right, flip the card. Greetings, Ace. Welcome to the chat. Yeah. Heat. 43 seconds. Kev says, "Pollock, maybe a few people looking your stream from deck 24." Deck 24. Well, welcome guys if you're coming from there or whatever. Welcome. Welcome to the chat. We're just doing some morning push-ups. Compound exercises in the cardio. Squats, pull-ups, dips, no weights needed. Hey, that's our rest period. Ah, well, for me, compound exercises like around the world stuff, right, are fantastic. Especially first starting off, it's just good to stay moving. Yeah. Gives you a little bit more of a rest period in between sets as you're working on different muscle groups. That one was 48 seconds. Took a little long. Yes. So any kind of compound movement is going to be easier to do than an isolated movement where you're keeping the pump in one spot. The pump just has nowhere to go. It gets, uh, to that failure point pretty quick. Any tips on training the medial tricep, aka lower inside above the elbow? Ah, you just got to feel it. You got to feel your workouts, guys. Just don't go through the motions. That's why a full rep range of motion, right? You're passing the pump from one muscle group to the next. You don't really build an intense pump like this, right? This, you have the mind to muscle concentration. It's, it's, it's, it's there. It's raw. You can't escape the pump. You know what I mean? So, you're trying to feel the muscle groups that you're working. Try to lessen the rep range. Right? The way I work any muscle group, that's a minute 30 of a rest period, by the way, is I start off in a full rep range of motion and I just go back and forth reducing the rep range until I find the sweet spot of the pump and I just rock that. You know what I mean? And this is the sweet spot of the pump for the chest right here. Boy, that was a tough one. I lost track, too. Don't really know how many that was, but it was 45 seconds, so I assume that's pretty close. You want to tell the world about your hernia? I ain't never had a hernia. Oh, I may have. I just don't know it. And one, I mean, you know, I've been lifting forever. Heck, I've probably had a heart attack. I don't even know it. You know, I'm sure if you look hard enough, you could be like, "Oh, yeah. He had a hernia over here." That's a minute 18 seconds of a rest period.

I've been looking. I've been looking. I've been watching a lot of people do their push-ups and I don't see people going working the bottom end of it, the fully stretched position, like we're doing here off the elevated surface. I don't see that often. I keep trying to tell people it's like a, it's like a magic, you know, magic happens when you start utilizing that full stretch. Yeah, that full stretch is epic. How long have I been lifting? How many reps per set? Uh, just 50. 50 reps per set. We generally get it done within 45 seconds. We take at least a minute break in between. Sometimes we end up talking too long and it takes a minute 30. But I'll take a minute 30. I'll take a minute 30 rest. That's fine. But the whole goal is to lessen my rest period as we go. Just fine-tune it down, you know, keep dialing it in. Do less and less rest. FBA says, "I do 200 per set, 10 sets." Yikes. Here you go, FBA. That's a sick set. There we go. Minute 30. Jesse is my spirit animal. What is my spirit animal? 50 seconds on that one. How many years does it take to get into this physique? About 18 months to two years if you stay consistent, you work out twice a day and you eat right. Yep. I mean, honestly, you got to eat sort of right. You don't have to eat right. Right. You just got to eat sort of right. And what I mean by that is you got to be consistent with your eating habits. You get elbow pain after push-ups. Any tips? Yeah, if you're getting elbow pain, you got more than likely you got nerves rubbing against each other back here. More than likely, more than likely your elbows are probably pointed out this way instead of this way, right? More than likely, you round your shoulders, right? So, get all your posture and your hand placement under control and stop that rubbing effect on your nerves. Right. Pull your shoulders back. Tuck your elbows down. Minute 30. Bam. Uh, did we flip a card? I hope we did. I don't think we did, but there we go. Fight through pain. Don't fight through the pain cuz all you're doing is rubbing on the nerves. Yeah. You're just, it's like an Indian burn, you know, like a rug burn. Don't, don't fight through it. You're just rubbing your nerves more. Right. Take a break. Take ice it down. Take an Epsom salt bath. Put some topical castor oil. And if you're really feeling frisky, take a handful of Epsom salt while you're sitting in the bath and just place it on it, you know, just let it sit there and soak in, right? But, uh, once I started taking creatine and MSM together in combination, all my aches and pains went away. I don't have them anymore. Yeah. 41 seconds.

Hey, Enriel says he's a family man helping men get fit. Yes, we have that warm family vibe, don't we? Right. All of us together. It's a good community. Thank you everybody for being here. You're the 100th like. 100 likes. Hey, thanks guys. Appreciate you being here. That's awesome, guys. So, there's, there's three things in the prison system that has given me the most results out of anything. It's a couple things. It's the elevated hand placement to get the fullest stretch. That's one secret. Uh, just stay on the sweet spot, the quarter rep range of motion. Just stay on the sweet spot. That's another secret. And then the 50 reps per set, doing 1,000 reps, that in itself is like a magic number. If you do 50 reps of anything and 20 sets, it's, it's ridiculous. Your body doesn't have a choice but to adapt. Okay. Okay. That's way too much rest period. A minute 45. All right. 2002 minutes. Good deal. Lauren, we're doing a thousand, right? Doing a thousand every day. That's how we're going to wake up from now on. Just do 1,000 push-ups every day. And, uh, then, then, uh, we'll continue from there on out. Wow. Sit. That was 50 seconds. Can I do a muscle up? Yeah. All day I can do muscle ups and clap my hands before grabbing the bar again. You know, throw myself up above the bar, right? Grab the bar, go back down. I could do that. I can go up and I give you a little wave at the top, right? Muscle ups are fun. I could go up there and put my toes on the bar. Muscle ups are fun. Yeah, buddy. Did we flip the car? No, we did not. Can I do the handstand on the bar? No. But my brother can. My brother Justin Pollock, he could do the handstand on the top of the bar. So, make sure you check out my brother Justin Pollock because he is a ninja. Yeah, the results speak for themselves. If you don't utilize this method, you're just missing out. That's all that is. There we go. I must have missed a couple there. We did that one too fast. We'll have to do some at the end. Make sure, make up for all the slop. Hey, Dird0311 in the chat. Welcome aboard. Day nine of 100 push-ups. Any tips? Do more. Yeah, definitely do more. You know, the more you work out, the better. 100%. All right, that's a minute 13 of a rest period. I just feel good enough to do it again. Oh man, that's tough. I, I feel my lats being engaged even. I feel like, uh, my lats get engaged with everything that I do. Ah, yeah. I could tell. I could tell. They definitely, uh, they do. They, they got a pump to them. And you know what? So does my bicep. I'm feeling like my bicep got it, too. It's not escaping. Watermelon fast. I've never tried that, man. I tell you what, I could eat watermelon, you know? It doesn't seem like it would be a tough, tough fast, man. Like the 3-day fast with no food. I always have a difficulty with that one. But if I allowed myself to have watermelon, boy, I could go for that one. I tell you what. There we go. Minute 30. Time our duration of our rest period and flip a card. See what's next. That's the halfway point one. Yeah. Cheers. How do you work out with a belt on? You need some sweats or gym shoes, dude. Come on, dude. For, for pretty much six and a half years, I worked out wearing Crocs, right? Crocs. And, uh, and I, I did it wearing my, my uniform, you know? I don't need any special equipment to work out. Come on. That just becomes excuses not to work out. Be like, "Oh, I ain't got my gym clothes, right? I ain't got my yoga mats." How bad was the healing process on the head tattoo? Well, the trouble with a head tattoo is what are you going to do when you lay your head down to sleep at night, right? You got to put it on the pillow or something, right? Every freaking night, man. My, every morning, my head would be stuck to the pillow, fused with the scabbing of the tattoo. I, I ruined a lot of sheets that way. I ruined a lot of sheets.

When's the last time I talked to Batman? Oh, [ __ ]. Yeah. And that's the halfway point. 500 reps down, 500 reps to go. I'm always trying to control my heart rate. Slow it down. Slow down my breathing. You let that get out of control when the game's over with. Maxie says, "Seize the day. The last days of the year. Make something out of it." Depends on which calendar you're following. But I agree. Seize the day. I think Mondays get a bad rep. I do. I think Mondays get a bad rep. You know, it's like people are like, "Oh, it's Monday again." No, dude. This is a brand new moment in time. It's not Monday again. It's a brand new moment in time. Right. Yeah. Mondays get a bad rap. Heat. Heat. All these guys making reservations, declaring they're going to have a bad day, saying that it's Monday. In reality, it's a brand new moment in time. Anything is possible. Sage says, "Deep breaths in through your nose while you're doing the push-ups." Thanks for the addition to the chat. I gave it a try. Ham ham or man says, "Did you know that when I exercise and squeeze my muscles for the last rep before the chest, you come to mine and make me break the weight?" Gorilla, heck yeah. Oh, you're doing something good. Got to dig deep. Got to dig deep. What you going to eat after this workout? I'm not going to eat anything until noon because I'm going to be fasting, you know, intermittently. I'm going to eat between the hours of noon and 8:00 p.m. Nothing before, nothing after. Okay. And it'll probably be peanut butter and jelly. That's probably what I'm going to have. Yeah. Peanut butter and jelly. Yeah, I work out daily. How do your body? How do you recover? The body gets used to it, right? The first month of anything, it's very discouraging and challenging, but if you keep it up, your body just gives in and says, "Okay, this is my new reality. I guess I'll just have to adapt to the workload, you know." So, at, at this moment in my training program, I have to come up with a new, I have to come up with a new, uh, schedule for everybody. But basically, I'm just doing 1,000 push-ups every morning. And then I work out two times a day, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on top of the thousand push-ups in the morning. All right, so that's the schedule. How to master partial reps. Easy. Easy. Start in full rep range of motion, right? And just lessen your rest, your, your rep range until you find the sweet spot. Right. Right there. Just go back and forth until you find that most flex sweet spot. Right. Just rock it. Lauren says, "Do them." Yeah, I guess, I guess that's a start. Consistency is key. Okay, Maine says 55 push-ups back to back in less than a minute. Well, I, I'm aiming for 50. I'm aiming for 50. I know sometimes I do a little bit more because I second guess myself, you know, I'm like, "Oh, did I do, how many did I do?" You know, I better do it extra. You know, but I'm aiming for 50. There we go. Wow. Yeah, that's a good pump. It's a good pump. Yeah, I love the pump. I love the pump. Right. How many push-ups so far? We already went through our halfway point. Uh, 650. Yep. On our way to our thousand. Ah, heck yeah. Says, "I've gone with you as far as possible. My arms are done." Heck yeah. Good work. Good work. You were in the process, right? We're all just in the process. It's okay. Come on back tomorrow, man. I'm going to be doing this every day. Thousand reps. Hey, fitness. Welcome to the chat. O. Am I wrong for hiding at work today? Hiding at work. Just get your reps in when no one's looking. When nobody's looking. Just get your reps in. It's only taking us 45 seconds to do 50 reps, right? I'm sure you got 45 seconds here and there, right? Heck yeah, you do. Do it off the counter. Yes. Don't feel like working, but I want to get paid. It's freezing today. Yeah, boy. I tell you, one of the most miserable jobs that I've done was, uh, you know, when I did line clearance and you know, we're working on the roadways, you know, clearing the power lines and, uh, during the winter time, the road just sucks all the heat out of you, you know, as you're trying to direct traffic and not get hit by cars or electrocuted or, or, you know, hurt somebody. You know, you got all that going on. That was a miserable job. You know, I hate, I hate standing still and directing traffic. I hate that more than anything these days. You only do push-ups? No. No. I do everything else. Just I start the day off with a thousand push-ups. There we go. That's too much rest. Did we flip this card? I don't know if we did. Wait, I'll know if we did. One, two, three. No, we didn't. Okay, cool. Whatever. You know what? When I'm questioning myself, I'm not even going to count it. I'm not going to flip the card. We'll just do an extra one. Yikes. Pardon me. I'm congested. Next progression win. I mean, I'm kind of doing it right now. This thousand reps every morning is a new thing. So, kind of in it. Training to stay fit. Heck yeah. All this training, this ain't nothing. This is where the real training is. It's up here. All this is a result of this training. You know, this is just a side effect of the mental, you know, game that we play. Yeah. Yeah. I, I got to get back to my fullest strength. You know, the, the days where I was, you know, at my peak physical, uh, ability is when I was doing 1,000 reps every day. So, I just got to stop BSing myself and get back to the work that I know that works. You know, everything else is fine and dandy. I, I love doing all this other stuff, but I got to stop BSing around. I got to be real with myself and get, get to the freaking work. You know what I mean? FBA says, "So, a 1,000 half reps equals 500 full reps." No. No. So if you're going to compare it that way, it's actually twice, right? So if you if you want to be, it's like doing a 1,000. No, it's like doing 2,000 full rep range of motions doing a 1,000 half rep. Yep. You got it backwards. I don't know why you guys think full rep range of motion is superior. What about full rep range of motion am I missing here? Tell me. I don't get it. Full rep range of motion, guys. So, you know, is the, the easier version of the pull-up. That's, this is the less intense version coming all the way up. This is the easier version. It's less intense of an impact on your muscle tissue by passing the job from one muscle group to the next. It's more of an impact on the muscle tissue staying in the sweet spot where you don't pass the pump on to any other muscle group. This is why you get so big so quick. Get out. Get out. Officer Burpee in the house. Just stopping by. Off to work. Heck yeah, guys. Make sure you check out Officer Burpee. Got an epic channel and he had an epic collab last night. Yep. Check him out. Check him out. Diana, right? Or Deanna. Yeah, that was the collab. Freaking epic. Day Blind Warriors. All right. Shout out to Diana or Deanna and Day Blind Warriors. Freaking epic, guys. If you're going to look up any creator today, check out Diana and Day Blind Warriors. She's an inspiration to everybody. Just a, a ball of happy light, you know. She's, she's a bright soul, you know. Yeah. Day Anna Barz. So it's D A Y A N A B A R A J A S. Yep. Yeah. Check her out everybody. Subscribe. I think she's, uh, trying to get to her first thousand likes or thousand subscribers. Make sure you all get over there and hit her up. Have a good day, Officer Burpee. Thanks for dropping in. That was an epic collab. Yeah. Okay, let's continue. [ __ ] One, two, three, four, five, six, seven sets to go. You see that millipede come at me. Too many legs for me. Okay. So, another thing that I'm doing, guys, if you want to pay attention, I'm tiptoeing forward and tiptoeing back using my toes, of course, to to target where I want the pump on my chest as I'm going through these half rep range of motions. Depending on where my toes are, it adjusts the, uh, where my pump's going to be. All right. Do I ever get wrist pain from from push-ups? I have in the past and that's why I use, that's another reason of blocks. See, look at my hand placement, right? My hand placement straight up and down, right? I'm not having that 90, right? Opposed to it's pretty much straight up and down. I can just go forever that way. Traxxas says, "Only hitting 100 today, but I got 3 days of consistency so far every morning." Heck yeah, man. Keep it up. Tell you what, the first 14 days are going to be the most epic of your, uh, transformation, you know, on your first 30 days, just so you know. [ __ ] How many should I start off with for a beginner? Well, I'd be aiming for half a deck, you know, get 200 reps in and a nice casual pace for the first, you know, 14 to 30 days. Just keep your body consistent. The, the, the thing that you want to keep in mind is you don't want to overwork yourself for the first 30 days, but you have to stay consistent no matter how you feel, right? You got to force the body to adapt to its new environment of working out all the time. Why in the world would the body adapt if you're taking breaks? If you're being easy on it, if it's sitting back in a lazy boy relaxing, why would it want to have to adapt, right? Only through stress. That's our rest period. Focused. Positivity, listening to the body, right? The first 14 days is going to be like the toughest thing that you've ever done. But if you white knuckle it and you stick to the program, you don't overwork yourself and you just stay consistent at that 30-day mark, your body will adapt, will have adapted, and, uh, it'll just be a walk in the park from here on out. Like this thousand push-ups for me, it's just a walk in the park. I mean, I'm not even sweating, right? But if a new guy was to do it, he'd be sweating. He'd be out of breath. But it's not going to be that way forever. You just stick to the plan and through consistency, it becomes a walk in the park. It's just like I couldn't start jogging today. I'd be all gassed out trying to jog, you know? But if I stayed with it for a month or two months, I'd get pretty good in jogging and then it'd be a walk in the park, you know. Same deal here. Same deal here. Yeah, I mean, anything, anything that you do, you will see a benefit versus doing nothing. Of course, you will see a benefit versus doing nothing. Just do something and you will see a benefit 100%. Yep. And, and it's arguably, it's arguably, uh, 10-minute duration is all you really need. 10 minutes of the time under tension of the muscle, right? Not just 10 minutes goes by, but time under tension is all you really need. Wow. Circulation count. I don't know what that means. My heart rate, I got a resting heart rate of 54 beats per minute. Andrew Ford says, "I'm headed over to Nathan's after Jesse's channel." Nathan's going to go live. He's one of our moderators. He's going to go live once we're done here. Show him your support. Drop in. Give him a like. Here we go. This is that predicament again. Did I pull the card after I did those 50 reps? I better be safe and not pull it. I'm not going to pull the card cuz who knows, right? Who knows how many reps we're going to end up doing this way by forgetting to pull the card. Ayat. There we go. I'll pull the card that time. You always end up doing a couple extra that way. Boy, what a good stretch. What's up, big in the house? Yeah, I'm about to be 44 years old. Young in January. I'll be 44 in January, right? Yeah, we're not there yet, but thanks for the birthday wishes. Using boots saves your toes. Absolutely. Yeah. Thanks for the boot day wishes. I'll take it. I remind you of a Dragon Ball Z character. It's a good way to train those Dragon Ball Z characters. You ever see the way they train? I like it. All right. Yeah, that's a good pump. Nathan, no such thing as disrespect. Nathan says it's dumb to go live when Jesse is still going. That's disrespectful. It ain't. We all got to get our workout in, don't we? We don't have to wait for the next man. For real. The day is upon us. Stay frosty. Stay frosty for sure. We're almost there, huh? Four more sets. Four more sets. Hunka. Happy Hanukkah. Oh, happy Hanukkah, Lauren. Yeah, I, I don't know. Happy holidays is the easy one to say. It just covers everybody. You know, that was a big thing in prison. You know, some guys got really pissed off when you would say Merry Christmas to them. You know, they're like, "I don't believe in Christmas." I'm like, "Okay, I was just trying to say good day to you." You know? So, I learned it's best just to say happy holidays. You know what I mean? You, you'd be surprised. Some guys get real pissed off. I'm just trying to wish him a good day. Chug he 2388 says USA in the house. Heck yeah. Yeah. Ohio. I'm from Ohio, guys. Welcome aboard to the channel. How many meals per day? Can two meals be enough? I, I totally think two meals a day is sufficient. I totally agree. Yep. Wow. Ow. Hey, Jen from Australia. Welcome to the chat. Wings says, "How long do you let each body part rest before working out again?" Ah, I just do what I feel like. Um, like for push-ups, I feel like doing a thousand push-ups every day. So, that's what we're going to do. Um, regardless of how I feel. Yep. Yeah. I did 6 and 1/2 years. Yep. That's all. Yep. I'm wait, I'm waiting one minute to recover from those 50 reps. One minute to a minute 30 is my periods, rest periods. And it's taking about 45 seconds to knock out. Do I still go to meetings? Man, I, I tell you what, it feels like my life is a constant meeting. I'm constantly talking to men. Constantly. Yeah. It's like the world is my meeting. Everything I do is my meeting. Nice. Another 42 seconds. First time here trying. Knew. Who knew it would be this easy doing a thousand push-ups? Heck yeah. That's the mindset, right? Yeah. You don't know how easy it is until you try it. You know, when I went to prison and I saw everybody doing 1,000 push-ups, I was like, I didn't know this was a thing. I didn't know people could do this kind of stuff, right? Yeah, I fell in love with push-ups. I did. I totally did. Let's see. Does YouTube live keep you motivated to work out? Seems you have a good following. How often do you work out? What's your main goals? A lot of questions. Workout to help with mental health and health in general. Yeah. I mean, first, when I, my first 100,000 subscribers I got from doing shorts and videos and then my second 100,000 subscribers I got, um, once I started doing live streams. Okay, we got to go. Uh, but about, about motivation, I don't think it helps motivate me, you know. I don't, I don't think that's a thing. Um, I think it's just something I do regardless, you know, if this camera's here or if it isn't here. This is how I work out. Fire. Hey, Brian Lane in the chats. I'm like number 222 in the chat. Oh, 222 likes. Thanks, guys. Real deal prime. What's up, man? Bro, reminds me of prime anime. R Arnate, I don't know who that is. We got a good collab today coming up this evening. Yeah, it'll be fun. Make sure you guys are around. 5:00 we got Alex. We're going to do some pull-ups. Now you're at 224. 232 likes. Hey, thanks guys. You guys are awesome. Nice. Hey Jack, welcome to the chat. Oh god. Yikes. All right. Man, man, man says, "Hey, tell me if I stop going to the gym two months ago and I've been doing 300 push-ups a day, I will still build good shape just by doing push-ups." Depends. Depends on what your, what your idea of good shape is. Honestly, my idea is I'm in decent shape. You know, I know I, I could do better. So, it's just if you're happy with being, you know, your workout. I mean, you don't have to do my workouts. You just got to be happy with doing your workouts, you know. I, I, I think you'll be in decent shape, you know. But you gotta, uh, I, I think if you do anything and stay consistent, it, it'll be a benefit to your life. Appreciate you being here, guys. Is a thousand push-ups a day enough to get like you? Yes. Totally. Totally good. That's what I kind of did to develop this in the prison system. That's why I'm showing it to you because, you know, if you do a thousand push-ups, your body is just forced to go through a change. It's just that simple. When did you get the ink? About six years ago and beyond. It's all six years and older. That was the last guard. Ah, we done did our thousand reps.
