Happy Sunday, Fellowship. I'm Mark Cantley Jr., and I'm Madison Lewis, and we are here with your ministry highlights. We're back in school, and the summer is beginning to wind down, but there's still a lot happening here at the ship. Let's see what's happening this week. Madison, we are only nine weeks away from the biggest worship experience to ever hit Middle Georgia. And of course, Mark and I are talking about Victory Sunday 2022. And as Pastor Morgan said just a few weeks ago, it isn't going to be Victory Sunday anymore. It's going to be Victory Weekend. That's right. It has become too big to confine in just one day. People have literally traveled from all over the country to be a part of this event. It's truly something you must see in person to believe. So go ahead, mark your calendars now, October 14th to October 15th, 2023. It's going to be an amazing weekend of worship, fellowship, and fun. Dear Lord, Heavenly Father, we want to thank you for waking everyone up this morning. We want to thank you for letting us see another day, letting us see the sun once more. We thank you for everything that you have done in our life. And I want you to help everyone in this community financially and physically. I want everyone to have to live in your name. Let everyone know that you are enough and that they will, and that they don't have to change anything about themselves physically and financially. Let them know that everything that you are doing for them is necessary. Let them know that whatever they are going through is necessary. Let them know that they don't have to change anything because you made them the way that they are, and they are perfect in any and every way. And I want you to thank every, and I want to thank everything that you have done for my life, physically and financially. And in Jesus name, we all pray. Amen.

Um, I want to celebrate our Food Bank Ministry for this reason. In the month of July, our Food Bank Ministry served just about, just under 250 families. Oh man. Come on, let's thank the Lord for that. That's right. That's right. That's right. That's right. Let me ask those of you who are present who participate with our Food Bank Ministry, would you stand? You share and participate with our Food Bank Ministry. These wonderful people work tirelessly every Monday. And this, I want you to know, Church, this has been crucial in this season. You may be seated. This has been crucial in this season. God has blessed our church to not only impact our members but to impact our community. And just about every Monday, there's a line on Dunbar Road getting into the Food Bank. Let's give God praise for that.
[Music] Something as simple as food is scarce in for many families. And we are, we are privileged of the Lord and thankful that he is using this church to impact our community for his, for his glory. Let me also say, Church, we are about two months away from the event, from the event in Middle Georgia. It's not Victory Sunday this, this year's Victory Weekend. His Victory Weekend. We are, uh, preparing, uh, for our Victory Weekend, which is the third Sunday in October. Uh, the weekend. We've got events on Saturday and Sunday this year. Let's give God praise for that. Saturday, we're going to do our Rock the Block party. And then on Sunday will be our Victory Sunday celebration with all of our, um, features with that being outside and having a little festival after worship. You know, we'll be at the restaurants before everybody else get out of church. We're finishing up our food for everybody else. And we're gonna have old school worship, and the choir gonna march. Listen, I'm asking, I'm asking, I'm asking every male, every male, on the second Sunday in September, I want to see every male in here in a suit and tie. Thank you. Got a whole month to go buy you a suit. You, your son, your nephew, Pookin them, and little man. Um, see, when we were growing up, church taught us how to dress. [Music] And, uh, they came yesterday to do a site visit here at our church. And I want to thank all of our teams who served our guests on yesterday. It's about 20, 25 of them here, maybe more than that. Um, and the Lord laid it on their pastor's heart to come spend the weekend with us. And I want to ask the members of the Mount Level Baptist Church of Eufaula, Alabama, to stand. Understand. [Applause] Come on, Church. This, this is a whole church came.

I just want to thank your culinary team and for everybody that greeted us yesterday. Uh, it's good when you can come from Alabama, two and a half hour ride, and you feel like the King of Zamunda. [Applause] I was like, where the red petals at? I'm like, this is really all right. But you know, it's just a blessing to be here. I came to worship. Very rarely do I get a chance to sit back and be poured into. Uh, one thing that COVID, the COVID period has taught me, that even the leaders need to be poured into. Amen. So we need to take some time so that we can be poured into because we do a lot of pouring out through the week. And somebody say, well, Butler, I just want to thank all my folks for coming. I love y'all to death. Yeah, yeah. I love y'all. I love y'all. And, um, somebody say, Butler, you're gonna go all the way over there to told the mortgage church? First of all, that's my brother. I don't play about my brother. I don't. I don't play. I don't play. I don't play. Played by my brother. I don't play about Mama either. But I told him like this, and I'm gonna leave it like this. Let me just give you a little historical context. Um, God has a interesting way of fulfilling time and and destiny. Mount Level was my grandmother's home church, my mother's mother. And my mother is here today. Stand, Mama. Mom is here, all the way from Detroit. She's in the building. Yeah. Awesome. [Applause] You cute today, Mama, too. I see you. I see you. I see you. I see you. And, uh, so I spent summers as a kid running around Mount Level as a kid. And God has fulfilled time and destiny that the church would come this way. And as God brought me and my family here to Georgia, um, he's so orchestrated that I would be two and a half hours away from the hometown of my family on my mother's side. Amen. And I'm just so thankful that they are able to be here today and worship with us. Again, to all who served them on yesterday from our church, thank you so very much for doing that. Now, last week, I did not do this, but the spirit of God didn't permit. But today, I want to do this. I want to ask every employee of our school system, whether you're a teacher, custodian, whether you work in the kitchen, to meet me here at the altar. We want to pray over you.

[Music] [Applause] [Music] These people take care of our children, Church. I want to give time for those that are coming from the balcony. I had the opportunity two weeks ago to pray over our children, um, in the gym, and I didn't get a chance to do this for our educators, our employers, employees. There are principals here, assistant principals, there are teachers, they're educators, their staff and faculty. And, um, this new school year has started, and we want to cover them in prayer. Amen. It is a serious matter to place your children in the care and influence of people like this. And we want to ask the Lord to cover them. If you don't mind, just stretch your hands this way, Church, and let's cover them in prayer. Father, in the name of the Lord Jesus, I intercede now for our educators and students. These who you have assigned, empowered, ordered to speak into the future of our children. I pray now for every woman, every man that stands at this altar, that God, that you will anoint them afresh for their work. I pray, God, that you will speak to their temperament. Pray, God, that you will speak to their creativity, to their wisdom. I pray, God, that you would empower them by the Holy Ghost to handle every demonic attack that comes in their classroom, in their schools. I pray, Lord, that you will keep their minds, and you'll keep their bodies, that you will keep their temperament. I pray, God, that you will bestow upon them a heart that accompanies their work. As a matter of fact, God, I pray that you'll empower them with the spirit of discernment to know when they need to be a teacher versus when they need to be a father. To know when they need to be a teacher versus when they need to be a mother. I pray, God, that you will give them the discernment to speak directly into the future of children. As a matter of fact, I pray, God, that you will place a prophetic anointing on them. They'll be able to identify gifts, and identify potential, and identify opportunity in the lives of our children. And finally, God, I pray that you'll give them wisdom to handle parents. Anoint them afresh. Make them the leaders in their own rooms. I pray, God, that you blessed their own personal lives. Whatever they are dealing with personally, as they get up every day to try to separate home from work, I pray, God, that that won't be a challenge, but that home would be an extension that goes to work with them.
[Music] Your God for helping them to understand the call on their lives to speak into the future of our children. And we give you glory for it now, and we thank you for a successful year. In Jesus name. Amen. Church, can you celebrate that their work is done? Their work is done. Even before it gets started, their work is done. Their assignment is done. In Jesus name. [Music] I want to summon your senses and invite your intellect to the Book of Numbers. Book of Numbers, chapter number six.
[Music] Numbers, chapter number six. And it is there that the Holy Spirit is highlighted for us. This context of scripture beginning with verse number 22. Numbers, chapter 6, verse number 22. Your Bible should read, "And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying, Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, On this wise shall ye bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, The Lord bless you, and keep you: The Lord make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and and they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them." I want to take this text. I'm blessed, and it's not my fault. [Applause] You may be seated in the Lord's Church. In light of all that we know and can learn about God, there is one undeniable motive to God's interaction with humanity. And that recurring motive, in addition to His love, is His desire and intent to bless us. Let me say very clearly and definitively: God wants to bless you. God desires to bless you. God wants you to be blessed so that the blessing in and through and over your life gives further contribution to His glory. That is a critical statement that we need to embrace because there are times when we posture God as a hard taskmaster, and it is actually a disservice to who God is and to the intentions of God's interactions with humanity. God is not this hard taskmaster that places demands on us that we cannot fulfill. God is ultimately active in maintaining a healthy, holy, and happy relationship with us. Let me tell you very clearly: God wants us to enjoy Him. God is not interested in us presenting Christianity in a way that nobody wants to be a Christian.
[Music] And we've got to be very careful and cautious that our familiarity with oppression does not pitch God as this mean slave owner because often our familiarity with oppression doesn't just dictate our perception of ourselves, it influences how we think God sees us. God is not this hard taskmaster. He is a loving God who, even within the context of requiring us to live holy, wants us in a happy relationship with Him. Though God has standards, God is actively intending for us to enjoy Him as He enjoys us. Let me reinforce my point to tell you that before we ever got started, God created and drafted and constructed a utopian environment in which we, and I, you and I, should live in, particularly for Adam and Eve, called Eden. This perfect environment where everything we needed was there. And even after the fall, God wanted to see us blessed because even in our disobedience, He was the first to cover us. Even in our disobedience, all throughout the Old Testament, it is not the people's disobedience that influenced God. It was God's faithfulness to His own covenant that God remained faithful even when we were unfaithful because God is interested in seeing us blessed in this healthy, holy, happy relationship with Him. When Jesus came and established the protocol for His kingdom, the results of following the protocol was being blessed. Matthew chapters 5, 6, and 7, Jesus lays out the protocol for His kingdom, and the centerpiece of His protocol is what you and I call the Beatitudes. And the outcome of the Beatitudes is to be blessed. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall inherit the kingdom of God. Blessed are those when people persecute you for righteousness' sake. The outcome of the kingdom of God is to live in a blessed state. Even after Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead, He released the Holy Ghost, and the Holy Ghost gave us the fruit of the Spirit. To which one of the fruit is joy. [Applause] Therefore, if you have the Holy Ghost, you can't have it and be mean as hell at the same time. If you've got the Holy Ghost, you ought to have the joy of the Lord. [Applause] If you really got the Holy Ghost, you ought to be happy with Jesus. [Applause] Revelation, in, in John's Revelation, while he was in prison on Patmos, and in the last chapter of the whole Bible, Revelation chapter 22, verse 7 says, "Blessed is he that obeys the prophecies of the saying of this book." Verse 14 of that same chapter, in the very last chapter of the Bible, he says, "Blessed is he that follows the commandments, that he may enter in and have a right to the Tree of Life and the gates of the city." When the Bible started, it started in a blessed state. When it ends, it ends in a blessed state. And I'm concerned that some of us misrepresent God. I'm concerned that some of us misrepresent God because we claim to have a relationship with God but still be an unhappy person. [Applause] I'm concerned that some of us misrepresent Christianity because if Miss, if Christianity is you being stiff, uh, don't want to have any joy, don't want to enjoy life, you too saved to go to the park. [Applause] You, you too saved to have, uh, to even watch a movie. As a matter of fact, uh, some of them, some of the most, Lord, hold your boy right here, uh, there are plenty people who don't want to be married because of your Christian marriage. [Applause] Your Christian marriage is one that is unhappy, mean, can't enjoy life. The devil is a lie. The Lord made the earth for me to enjoy. And with all the Holy Ghost I got, guess what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna live a blessed life because I want somebody to look at my life and say, if living for God is like that, sign me up.
[Music] [Applause] God wants you to live a blessed life. God wants you to walk in His joy. God wants you to, to make Christianity look good. Have I got any help here? However, we must be careful that being blessed is not the sum of your creature comforts. It is not the accumulation of your stuff. You're not blessed because you got a whole bunch of stuff. You got a whole bunch of stuff because you're a hoarder. [Applause] We cannot judge blessings by all of our stuff because somebody who doesn't have a lot of stuff would say, "I'm not blessed." If I don't have a lot of stuff, but what we find out here in Numbers chapter 6 is that blessing from God takes on a, a unique and very clear and very definitive context of understanding when we dig into the history of this passage. The Book of Numbers, ladies and gentlemen, was God's documented processes of how He transformed a group of former slaves into a unified, legitimate community through census taking. Thus is why the book is called Numbers. They took two senses in the book, and the census was taken to determine how many men would be available for war, how much land would be allotted per tribe depending on the number of persons in that tribe, and how many persons would be designated as Levites and priesthood in the service of the temple. Even God was interested in right numbers because for Him to make them a legitimate people, He had to take the right number to see who would be in war, how much land would be over here, and who would serve as the priesthood. Numbers is God's documentation of transforming an oppressed people into a legitimate nation through the application of civil, ceremonial, and religious and administrative infrastructure. You missed it. So let me help you. Numbers was God's way of bringing a million people into order because you can't call yourself a nation and be out of order. As a matter of fact, you can't walk with God and call yourself living and doing things out of order. For God is not the author of confusion, but He's a God of order. And thus, ladies and gentlemen, it is called Numbers because it is a book of the census. Chapters one through two, they were numbered to see how many people would fight. Chapters three through four, they would number to see how many priests would serve the tabernacle. Chapter five, God calls for the removal of uncleanness and, and, and, and idolatry from amongst the people. Chapter 6, verses 1 through 21, God established the heightened discipline of the Nazarite vow. And then you and I read verses 22 through 27, which said this: "After you number the people for fighting, after you number the people for the priesthood, after you unlock the land, after you live in holiness, I'm gonna come and bless it." I'll try to give you, you missed all that. In other words, after you bring yourself in order, I'm coming. The blessing. After you get yourself in order, come into alignment with structure and protocol and order, I'm coming to bless you. Here is the thesis of this little Easter speech. Here it is, Church: If you handle your process, God will handle your success. [Applause] I can't get no help here. I said, if you handle your process, God will input His success. Cause your process won't work unless God puts His success on your process. Come in order and tell them, "The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift the light of His countenance on you and give you peace." Every Sunday before you leave out of this church, I've got to do verse 22. God told Moses to tell Aaron and his sons to stand before the people and to bless them, saying this. I'll try it one more time. God told Moses to tell Aaron and his sons to stand before the people and bless them by saying this. Can I tell you what leaps out at us at the onset of this passage? That your blessing comes through the instrumentality of people. What leaps out on us at the end, at the onset of this passage, Church, is that for all of you super saints, God blesses people through people. [Applause] I'm going to try it again. God told Moses to tell Aaron and his sons, this is how, this is what you say to bless the people. Therefore, it robs us of thinking we don't need people in order to be blessed because some of us believe as long as you got King Jesus, you don't need nobody else. This text reminds us, Church, that we can never neglect people because you don't know who God's going to use to be the blessing in your life. Do I got anybody here that will testify? You don't judge me by how I look. Don't judge me by what I wear. I may be the next source of your blessing. [Applause] As God blesses His people through people, I said God blesses people through people. God will use you to be a blessing to somebody else, and therefore, that means God trusts you. I said God trusts you. But He doesn't always allow you to handle Him for your own purposes. [Applause] God sometimes calls you so that you can be a blessing to somebody else, and therefore, ladies and gentlemen, we must rebuke the spirit of selfishness. Maybe if you learn how to be a blessing to somebody else, the key to you being blessed is learning how to bless somebody else. [Applause] I've discovered that people who always are in need of something are people who never give. But the folk who always give, they are never in need of something because God says, "When you give it, I'll turn right around and give it right back to you." [Applause] Test somebody. You got to learn how to be a blessed. You got to learn how to bless somebody else. [Applause] That's why you, you can't look at people crazy because God will use anybody. [Applause] To be a blessing to you. God's blessings incorporate the instrumentality of people. But watch it, Church. Watch it, Church. This first declaration of blessing, y'all, Lord, hold your boy here. When he said, "The Lord bless you," it wasn't really a focus on the people. The statement, "The Lord bless you," was focused on God because, Church, the Lord blessing was actually taken from the minutes of the meeting God had with Abraham, their father, when He met Abraham in Ur of the Chaldeans. He pulled from the minutes and said, "Sir, I need you to leave your father, your kindred, and your family, and go to a land that I'm gonna show you, and I will bless you." [Applause] So in Numbers chapter 6, God is repeating to Abraham's children, yeah, what He said to his daddy in Genesis chapter 12. Which means it's a memorandum of God that I'm gonna bless the children because I had a deal with their daddy. Now, I know y'all some of y'all in here smell yourself, but let me give you a little FYI. You don't have what you have because of you. It's cause your mama and daddy was on their knees talking to God, and God is blessing you because of what He did to your parents. [Applause] I, I, I, I, I know you smell yourself and you got your little crib, but can I tell you, if it wasn't for your mom and daddy that had a relationship with God, [Applause] reminded himself that I'm gonna bless the children because of the deal I got with their dad. [Applause] Thus, Church, the Lord blessing you was a memorandum of the faithfulness of God, that God would keep His word to Abraham's children at a time when Abraham was even left. That's God's word for somebody in here. I need you to, I need you to know to never forget where you come from. You hear me? I need you to always remember God used somebody before He got you to where you are. I'm about to run on this next point, y'all. That word "bless," uh, that word "blessed," y'all, in the Hebrew, it is the word "Barak." [Music] I didn't make that up. The Hebrew spelling of the word is B-A-R-A-K. President Obama added a seed. His real, the name, the Hebrew etymology of his name means blessed. The Hebrews would say, "Reigns." That to be blessed is when God kneels, and when God kneels, He brings His face forward. Church, when you're blessed, it don't just mean you kneel to God, it means God kneels to you and sat on the throne and kneeled and brought His face forward. Thus, that's why the Aaronic blessing involves the anthropomorphic attribute of the face of God. "The Lord lift up His, the countenance of His face upon you." God is a spirit, and spirits don't have a face, but God says when I, when I bless you, I'm bringing my face forward. Okay, y'all missed it. That's what the Hebrew text means. But can I tell you what your Grandma and Grandpa will say? "God has smiled on me. He has set me free. God has smiled on me, and He's been good." I can't get no help here. Isn't anybody in here that knows God is smiling on you? This is faith. God is smiling. [Applause] And can I help y'all to tell y'all in the Old Testament, blessing had three particular manifestations? Uh, it had to do with fruitfulness, fertility, and good health. In the Old Testament, if they were blessed, Church, it means that God gave them prosperity, posterity, and property. They had land, they had children, and they had good health. Still slow right along that part right there. To be blessed is to have land, children, and good health. Try it one more time. In the Old Testament, to be blessed is to have land, that's somewhere to stay. Children, that's the fruit of your loins, so that you have legacy and future after you dead. [Applause] And good health. [Applause] Now, if you don't have good health, you probably got children. [Applause] And if you got children, you got some place to stay. Even when you don't have good health. Still ain't feeling me. Everybody in this room should fall somewhere between somewhere to stay, children, and good health. That ain't got nothing to do with your car, your bank account, your clothes, how many shoes you got, how many, how many wigs you got, how many suits you got. That don't have nothing to do with that. That's just the basic. I got somewhere to stay. I got children, and I'm in good health. I thought I had about 50 of y'all. I make number 51 that'll thank God if I got somewhere to stay, I got good health, and I got children. It means I'm blessed. But Reigns is the issue. The issue, Butler, is this: If God told Moses to tell Aaron to tell the children, "I'm gonna bless you and keep you," they were homeless because if He told Moses, they're not in the promised land yet.
[Music] [Applause] Cause Moses didn't make it to the promised land. They're still in the wilderness. This means that there ain't no land, but they're blessed anyway. Cause though they ain't got no land, He's keeping them in a wild place. So therefore, ladies and gentlemen, verse 24 is a conjunction action of God's benevolence. Oh, cause if He blessed you, He gotta keep you because He already got promise ahead of you. Which means you can't die in what you're in, dude. I gotta buy lucky. Let me help somebody. Ladies and gentlemen, if He blessed you, He got to keep you because you can't die till you get the blessing. Which means you still alive cause you're blessed. [Applause] He gotta protect you in the wilderness till you get to the promise. Okay, ladies and gentlemen, when God said to Moses, "Tell them I'm gonna bless them and keep them," He was literally telling them that I'm gonna bless them, but I'm gonna keep them in the wilderness until they get to the blessing. Which means that "not yet" is the reason why they're not dying in the right now. [Applause] I got rewind in my mind. You still alive not because of the right now, but because of the "not yet." And the "not yet" is the reason why you didn't die in the right now because if God promised you something, you shall not die, but you shall live to see the goodness of the Lord. Isn't anybody in here grateful that the reason why you're still alive is cause you got blessing waiting on you? You got favor waiting on you? You got a place waiting on you? That's why you didn't die in the hospital cause blessed is on you. Tell somebody, "I'm alive in the wilderness." What my environment should have killed me already, but I'm on my way to a blessing, and God got to keep me. Yay! Till I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I feel no evil, for You are with me. Yeah. Test somebody. He keeping me cause I got a blessing on the way. And if you mad at me now, you ain't gonna be able to stand me later because the blessing is going to keep me alive. [Applause] [Music] Tell somebody, "The Lord bless you and keep you." They didn't get happy. "The Lord bless you." [Applause] "And He's keeping you." Nope, they didn't get happy either. "The Lord bless you and keep you." He got to keep you cause He's blessing you. Yes, sir. [Applause] I mean, the instrumentation of people are a part of the blessing, but the incorporation of protection is a part of the blessing. The keeping is a part of the blessing. He got to keep you because He's blessing you. Now you understand this phrase, "When I look back over my life," [Applause] "and I think things over, I can truly say He brought me all the way." I got a testimony because some things in the wilderness should have killed me already, but there was a job waiting on me. There was a blessing waiting on me, and God kept me because He blessed me. [Applause] Wait, here's the other part of the blessing, y'all. Forgive me. I got happy on me today. He says the next part of blessings: "I'm not just going to keep you, I'm gonna make my face to shine." I tell our clergy, you really can't understand a passage until you see it in its historicity. In Numbers chapter 6, in the historical time of the text, the children of Israel were getting ready to leave Mount Sinai and head to the promised land. You missed it. They got days and years ahead of them of walking through a wilderness with no roads. And the Bible says that God postured Himself in the, theophany of a pillar by day, fire by night. So when the text says, "He'll make His face shine," it is an illusion that the glory of His face emits a light. [Applause] Because God knows when you walk with Him, sometimes you got to walk through darkness. [Applause] They're not in darkness on their own. They're following God. Let me mess with your theology because you wasn't ready. Ladies and gentlemen, this ain't for you new saints. It's for some of us who would be honest and tell the truth. Walking with God led you to some dark days. [Applause] No, they wasn't the devil. It was God. But God says, "For all you spiritual people, I'm not in your life to deliver you from darkness. I'm in your life to navigate you through darkness." So I'm gonna cut the light on in your dark times to give you a walkway through darkness. Do I got anybody here that can thank God the blessing was not that He took darkness? He just guided you through darkness? [Applause] Nobody want to hear me, but the truth of the matter is, walking through God can lead to some dark times. But God says, "I'm gonna give you the first thing I gave you in creation: light." The first thing God created was light. And He says, "Though your conditions are changing, I'm not changing. When you get to dark times, I'm just gonna cut the light on." [Applause] And lead you through dark times. I want to preach to somebody in here who testifies, "You in some dark times."
Right now, you don't care what your neighbor thinks or feels about it. You ain't all that happy right now. You're in some dark times. Your family is in trouble. Your marriage is in trouble. Your kids are in trouble. And God's word to you is, "I'm not gonna get you out of it. I'm just gonna lead you through it."
"The Lord is my life and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" Walk in the light. That beautiful life. I'm where the dew drops of mercy shine brightest, shine all around us by day and by night. Jesus loves my soul. Getting happy here. It's the light of the world.

All right, sir. The blessing is the instrumentality of people and the incorporation of protection. But this text also tells us, y'all, that when you've been blessed, He incorporates a pardon. Y'all got a Bible? Y'all ready? I didn't make this up. He says, "When I bless you, He said, 'The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious.'"

I told you I'll read the Bible too fast. And be gracious unto you. Uh, grace, y'all, is a New Testament concept. That couldn't wait to the New Testament. It showed up in the Old Testament in Genesis chapter 6, verse 8. And the Bible says, "And the Lord found grace, oh Noah, in the midst of wiping out the world." He calls one person. So I'm gonna put grace on this one person. Roy, tell me what it means. It's not that Noah deserved to be saved. God put grace on it. And if Noah required grace, it means Noah was as guilty as the folk who died. But the Lord put grace on Noah. Can I tell you why you're blessed, church? Look at this text in Numbers chapter 6. The children of Israel have begun their trek from Mount Sinai to Mount Moab to get to the promised land. They're in the wilderness. You know what they did in the wilderness? Complained, rebelled, built a golden calf out of their earrings. But God had grace on them. I'm gonna try it again. They rebelled. They built a golden calf. They, they wanted an insurrection against their pastor. They came against Moses. They didn't like his choice of wife. But the Bible says, "The Lord said, 'Tell them I'm gonna have grace on them.'"
Okay. All right. I'm gonna preach this all by myself 'cause y'all ain't never sinned. Can I tell you what grace is? Grace is God's choice to not deal with you according to your sin.

'Cause He should have kept them people right there in that wilderness. But He said, "I'm gonna have grace on them." Ladies and gentlemen, if you got grace on your life, you already blessed. Okay? You acting funny. If you sinned and got up and walked away from it, you got grace on your life. If you sinned and didn't die, you got grace on your life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. Do I got anybody in here that's grateful that you walked away from your sin?

So you were not acquitted, you were pardoned.
[Applause]
I wish I had some legal folk in here.
[Applause]
Acquittal means you were found not guilty and therefore released. But a pardon means you were found guilty, you just didn't suffer the consequences.

And in the court of the Divine Justice, we were found guilty. But our lawyer stepped up and says, "I'm gonna suffer for them. I'm gonna be wounded for their transgressions. I'm gonna, those are their iniquities. Put their punishment on me."

I'm gonna let the pastor celebrate. Somebody ought to help him celebrate.

Maybe you didn't hear. So let me help you. Your grace and mercy
[Applause]
brought me through. I'm living this moment because of you. Grace says, "I'm not dealing with you according to your sin. I'm gonna set you free even though you're guilty because based upon what you've done, I should have killed you already." And how dare you come in God's house and sit and watch like you like God ought to do something else for you. If He doesn't do anything else, He's already done enough.

"The Lord God bless and keep you. The Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift the light of His countenance on you." That word countenance means face again, y'all. It literally means that if He's gonna bless you, He's gonna turn His face to you and not away from you, and give you peace. I close here, church. The close of this blessing is that God is gonna give you peace. But the only way He's gonna give you peace is somebody's gotta settle the animosity

between you and God. The Bible says that the flesh is enmity towards God. But the Bible says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. When Jesus was born, y'all, Luke chapter 2 says, "Glory to God in the highest, peace on Earth and goodwill towards men." When Jesus died on the cross, Paul said in Ephesians chapter 2, verse 14, "For He is our peace, and has brought together the broken down the middle wall of petition and brought both as one." The gift of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Holy Spirit is joy and peace. Peace means we get along with God because Jesus has intervened and taken away the thing that had us apart. I need y'all to do me a favor as I set this matter down. Just tell somebody and tell them, "I'm blessed, and it's not my fault." Tell them, "He's keeping me, and it's not my fault." As a matter of fact, I've done everything that on that gives Him reason not to do it, but He does it anyway. And all I can declare is that He's good to me. Do I got anybody that'll testify that the Lord is good to you?
Okay, you ain't get happy. I need you to find two people around you and tell them, "Neighbor, now I need you to find two people around you and tell them, 'Neighbor, surely'"

"goodness and mercy shall follow me."

"all the days of my life." And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. I don't have what I have because I've been good. I got what I got because He's blessed me, and it's not my fault. I need somebody in here to stop embarrassing God by hiding your blessings. 'Cause if He'd been good to you, you ought to tell of His goodness.

Baby, and tap your neighbor. When ways of affliction sweep over my soul and sunlight is hidden from you, if ever you're tempted to quit or complain, I got us a place to stay. If you

look at somebody and tell them, "Neighbor, I feel like we've been here because I got peace is running over." Isn't anybody in here who knows you're blessed, whatever, and it's not my fault? Tell somebody, "Neighbor,"

open your wow and release the sound of how you've been blessed. And here's the good news. Because of Jesus, and the good news is that Jesus died. Time. He's famous forever. So when you're happy, all right. And here are some reasons why I'm blessed. To the neighbor, "He woke me up this morning." Tell a name. "He woke me up." Just a moment. Not let everything I said, let everything I said, let everything happen. Give Him glory. Okay.

In the name of Jesus, I bless you. I ask God's blessing on your life in the name of Jesus. Whatever you seek in God for, be blessed for God to bless you."

As I have been obedient as Your servant, I pray, God, that You would bless every single person that is a part of this worship experience virtually. And whatever they need from You,

It's just no way that we can be in such a glory and not go fishing. I want to talk to every single person in this room that says, "Pastor, I don't have a church home, but I want a personal relationship with Jesus, and I want this church to be the place where I go and grow in God." If you're in this church right now, or if you're online, and you say, "Pastor, that's me. I want to give my life to the Lord, and I want to do it tonight, today." All I'm asking you to do now is trust Jesus and do it faithfully and sincerely while the glory of the Lord is in this place.

Number two, you've got to be willing to believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins and that He died for you and died as you. Number three, you've got to be willing to believe by faith that God raised Him from the dead to grant you victory over sin and death. If that's your testimony, that's your desire, that's your decision, these have already moved. I know it's somebody else here in the balcony and on the main level that says, "Pastor, it's me. I want to give my life to the Lord Jesus Christ." What must I do? I've given you the plan of salvation. I need you to step out of your row with your smartphone and just meet me up here in the front, just as these have done. Who else is this that says, "Pastor, it's me. I need to give my life to the Lord Jesus Christ, and I need to do it now." In the balcony, I'm talking to you too. If that's your decision, desire, come on. Christ is here to save you. We're blessed. They're coming towards. Hey, I got men coming. Somebody give God praise.

Who else is that says, "Pastor, it's me." I got sisters coming. Somebody thank God they're coming. They're coming. Church, they're coming. We're blessed. Oh my God.

"Pastor, it's me. I need to give my life to the Lord, and I want to do it today." Listen, tomorrow's not promised to you. I wish I could tell you differently, but tomorrow's not promised to you. You don't know what's gonna happen tonight. As a matter of fact, so while you are on sound mind, you got breath in your body, this your day. This your turn. This is the Christ for you. This is the church for you. All you simply need to do is trust Him now and make this step of faith. There's somebody else here that says, "Pastor, it's me. I want to give my life to the Lord." Just drink. Just come with your smartphone. These have already made your decision. And guess what? I'm not gonna embarrass you. I'm not gonna question you. I'm not gonna ask you about your past because guess what? If any man be in Christ, preacher, all things are passed away, all things are made new. I'm only concerned about your future. I'm not concerned about your past. Who else is it in here? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Who else is it? It's got to be some more. All right, the man of God said it. Some more. I believe it is. Who else is it that says, "Pastor, it's me. I've been living out under, under, beneath my privilege. I want to give my life to the Lord Jesus." Come on, come on, come on. Who else is it? Come on, come on. I'm living in the overflow. I'm living in the overflow. You said, "Who else is it?" Come on. No, this your day. This your turn. It's your time. God ordained for you to be in this church to hear this word that you might receive the Lord Jesus Christ. My brother's coming. Somebody give God praise for him. Look, I'm living in the overflow. Who else is it? Who else isn't? Come on. It's somebody else. I don't know your name, but you're in this place, and this is the decision you need to make to give your life to Jesus. Come on, come on. Don't be afraid. The clergy are standing to greet you. They're standing to greet you. This your moment. God to keep you in the wilderness. You need Him to bless you. You need Him to preserve you. You need His face to shine on you. You need peace in your life. And Jesus is your peace. Who else is it? God's gonna turn around. He's gonna work in your favor. Everybody says, "He's gonna work in your family."

that you will be okay with being blessed. Be okay with being blessed. I don't want to live without the blessings of God. And in turn, I take what God has blessed me with and I give it back to Him. This is what we're doing with our tithes and offerings. Those of you that are giving by other means other than an envelope, the options are on screen. Those of you that are in the virtual sanctuary, we pray that you will share now as we give unto the Lord. And we want to do it cheerfully. Can we look to the Lord in prayer, church? Father, thank You for the gifts that we give. Now I pray that You will receive them from our hearts through our hands. And I pray that God, as we give back to You what You've given to us, bless us as You've stated in Your word, according to our obedience to You. In Jesus name, amen.
