Yeah. But I remember being seeing Thin Red Line and people. I mean, I was 20 when that movie came out. I remember my friends were like, "What the [ __ ] was that? That was so boring, you know?"

>> And I was, I was incredibly moved by it. And uh, and I'd never seen a war movie like that where it is like from God's, you know, a God's POV or some
>> Yeah.
>> you know, when Yeah. It's like these guys are killing each other, but then this crocodile. I I saw it as as like then there's this thing over here, maybe I made. And then this is what it's doing. And this is and here's these humans and this is what they're choosing to do to each other.
>> Yeah.
>> You know.

>> And but everything had equal weight. Like a shot of a tree going. And it was the same weight as there's a great moment where the soldier is reading that letter from his his wife leaving him. And the camera is just kind of coming around a corner and peeking at him. Almost like this this entity or we or something is just kind of peeking in at it's just incredibly objective, you know, and and and kind of just peeking into everybody's soul in a way. And I really am moved in that film where there's a scene where they kind from my memory of they take over like a Japanese encampment and they're killing everybody. It's kind of a big slaughter.

>> And I think it's Woody Harelson's VO comes in where he goes, darkness. Where does it come from?
>> You know, and it was like I never seen that in a war movie before where I was like, how am I capable of doing this?
>> Yeah. Where's the John Wayne coming in and just
>> where is the John Wayne? What am I? What are we doing?

>> Yeah. And I was so moved by that. And my friends were like, "How much longer is it?" you know, but I I found that movie incredibly moving.
