In 1978, five friends were driving home after a basketball match, but they never made it home.
Days later, their car was found abandoned deep in the Mountain Road. It was in perfect condition and had enough gas. Their footprints were found, but not the men.
After months of searching, one of their bodies was discovered inside a forest service cabin miles away from the car. His beard had grown, indicating that he had survived for weeks. His feet were frostbitten, and he had starved to death. The cabin had enough food, matches, a stove, and fuel, but strangely, he didn't use them.
Among the other four, three were found in a horrific state, while one was never found. Their fate remains a mystery to this day.
