Uh, two weeks ago, we started sharing on the topic: "When You Have a Strong, When You Have a Revelation or Strong Intuition That Something Is Wrong." And we'll be looking at these very carefully in details. We looked at instances and common cases, the first part. The second part, we also looked at the common causes when things are wrong. And in this third and final part, we're looking at the solution. We're looking at the solution.
So, we want to take a scripture from Jonah chapter 1, verse 15. The Bible says, "So the men threw Jonah into the sea. The storm stopped, and the sea became calm." Whatever needs to happen, whatever needs to be done for things to return back to order around your life, your health, your finances, your marital life, your career, the Lord reveal it in the name of Jesus. [Applause] And as the Lord reveals it, the Lord also influenced that thing to be corrected and addressed quickly in the name of Jesus. [Applause] Because they not only found out the curse of the problem, they were fortunate to discover what should be done to solve the problem, to stop the storm. And the good news I have for someone listening to me right now, that for that storm that has been raging around you or your family, there is a solution. Can somebody say, "Solution"? And God will grant you and your family a timely solution. And the Lord will grant our nation, Nigeria, a timely solution in the name of Jesus.
So, New Living Translation says, "Then the sailors picked Jonah up and threw him into the raging sea." You know, sometimes we, we are quick to just read scriptures without meditating and critically reflecting on what it looked like if it was happening in this present time or right before us. What they did here would have appeared to be heartless, throwing a man into the sea, obviously with the expectation that he would die. But at this point in time, it was obvious that to save every other person from ultimately being consumed by the debt as a result of the raging storm, getting rid of this one man will save every other person on that ship. They picked up Jonah and threw him into the raging sea, and the storm stopped at once. I pray that you will no longer engage in trial and error. [Applause] You know, I'm praying this prayer. Can you imagine if Jonah was thrown into the sea and the storm did not stop? That is what could happen when you engage in just trial and error when trying to solve problems. [Music] You suspect the wrong person. From suspicion, you get rid of the wrong person. Is there a problem? Yes, there is a problem. But for that problem to be solved, two things: we must be able to recognize the exact cause, the true curse, the real reason behind that problem. And following that, we must be able to recognize the exact solution that will address and correct that problem. But in the midst of uncertainty as to the exact answer or solution, some people have taken some very drastic or decisive decisions that did not even help to correct the problem. Thank God that in this instance, they found out the right thing to do. And the Bible says, "The storm stopped at once."
The good news I have for you is that every moment across the earth, in the midst of whatever may be happening, generally people are experiencing divine intervention. This same year, in January, some people have already experienced their own version of God's intervention. In February, for some, it happened. In March, in April, in May. Good news I have for you is that for someone listening to this message, in this very year, you will experience a big divine intervention. [Applause] And whatever has been that persistent trial, God will intervene and turn things around for you. Turn things around for that loved one in the name of Jesus. Whatever needs to be addressed for the problem to stop, to stop, God will reveal it in the name of Jesus.
So, what's the solution? What's the solution? There are four key steps. One, identify what exactly is wrong. And if it's a revelation, because be mindful of the topic, "When You Have a Revelation or Strong Intuition That Something Is Wrong." Now, let me give you a difference. Let me explain better here. Most of the time, when you have a strong intuition, or someone has a strong intuition that something is wrong, most of the time, it's already happening. It could be at some stage, but it's already happening. But the beauty of divine revelation [Music] is that even when the negative effect has not started playing out, the Spirit of God can tell you ahead of time that something is wrong, ahead of time, ahead of time. So, when the Lord, the Spirit of God says something is wrong, all may be well around you. All may be well currently around you, but God is saying something is wrong. And that implies that whatever is wrong needs to be addressed, adjusted, or corrected on time to avoid some predictable consequences that will play out later. But when we have that intuition, most of the time, it's already happening at some stage. So, in solving it, in getting a solution, the first step is: identify what exactly is wrong. What is that negative trend? What is that negative pattern? What is that recurring setback?
Step two: Investigate and find out the exact cause. Investigate like they did on the ship. They had to, in their own circumstance, they cast lots with a purpose in mind. And that purpose was to find out the cause of the raging storm, this storm that was threatening the lives of everyone on the ship. Investigate and find out the exact cause. And I'm, I'm, I'm burdened for some families. And that is why I pray one more time that whatever it is that is affecting certain families, as you listen to this message, grace from God has been released. The anointing from God has been released to reveal and address whatever is that foundational problem in the name of Jesus. [Applause] Whatever has been affecting women in that family, God will correct it now. Whatever has been affecting men in the family, God will correct it now in the name of Jesus.
Step three: What's the third step? Find out the best solution to correct it. Find out the best solution to correct it. And the fourth step: Diligently implement the identified solution. Diligently implement the identified solution.
In the second part of the message, we took a closer look at some common causes when things are wrong or going wrong. Things are not just right, and you can explain it physically. And, um, whatever we are able to identify are never exclusive because there would always could be some other kind of reason behind what is wrong. But there are some common factors. So, in looking at the solutions, all we just need to do is look at the seven cases we looked at earlier. From those seven cases, we could see the causes. We could also see the solution. In the case of Jonah, when they inquired, when they investigated, they found out that the problem was Jonah. And they also needed to know what was the solution. Take note of this: sometimes the solution would not have involved getting rid of Jonah. There are sometimes, sometimes when the solution will be for Jonah to correct whatever is wrong, you know, around him. The solution would not be about getting rid of Jonah. No, the solution is about addressing what is wrong around Jonah that is causing the storm. And the moment that thing is correctly addressed, the storm will cease. So, there is no exclusively [Music] specific solution to all similar situations. That is where we need to be careful. And that is why we need to be prayerful that the Spirit of God will guide us, will guide us to know what exactly to do to solve the same problem. How it was solved for some other persons may not be the exact way it will be solved for you. But for any problem, the good news is that with God, there is a solution. For every storm, with God, there is a solution. [Music] And God is going to show you clearly the way forward, the way out. And it will be addressed quickly in the name of Jesus.
So, what was the solution? Get rid of Jonah. And the moment they threw him out of the sea, off the ship, the storm ceased. They discovered the solution. They were bold enough, they were decisive enough, they were ready to put aside sentiments and do the needful. They took that bold, courageous decision to get rid of Jonah, and the storm ceased. And everybody was saved from potential danger and ultimately death as a result of that timely decision.
In another biblical case, we looked at in Second Samuel chapter 21. Second Samuel 21, 1-23. In the days of King David, as king of Israel, there was famine. There was a, there was famine in the land for a whole year. Of course, you can still excuse it for a year. It will not be obvious to everyone that something is wrong when it has not lasted for long enough. But when it continues repeatedly, or it goes on for too long, then it becomes obvious that indeed something is wrong. So, when that famine continued into the second year, people were getting concerned, including the king, David. But by the end of the third year, it was obvious to them that something indeed was wrong. Three years, no rain. Something is wrong. And so, David inquired from God. He prayed an investigative prayer point: "Lord, what is the secret behind what is going on?" And thank God that the Lord answered him. Your prayer will be answered. In fact, God will give you a quick and timely answer. Can that woman say, "Amen"? And so, the Lord told him. He showed him what was wrong. And like we looked at earlier, that is a breakthrough, but it's not the end of the story. You now need to know what to do to solve the problem. And thank God that David found out an effective solution. And when restitution was done, when restitution was effected, then the problem was solved.
In Second Kings chapter 2, verse 18 to 22, there was another problem there in Jericho. Everything looked so nice, like our nation, Nigeria. But things were not working. And a lot of things were now being negatively affected. So, the elders of the town had to cry out to a man of God in the person of Elijah. And what was the reason? There was a curse. It was as a result of a curse that was affecting that land. And thank God that God positioned a man carrying grace to address that problem. I pray that the grace of God flowing upon and through this commission will move mightily on your behalf in the name of Jesus. [Applause] Whatever has defied prayer so far, defied solution so far, may the grace and power of God turn them around this time in the name of Jesus. Finally, you will receive answer to your prayer in the name of Jesus. You must move forward. You must move forward. And whatever is limiting or hindering you, the Lord remove it out of the way in the name of Jesus. Your family must move forward. The hand of the Lord move your family forward. Whatever is hindering your paternal family, hindering your maternal family, the Almighty God take away that obstacle in the name of Jesus. Let the Lord hear your amen. [Applause]
And so, the man of God, Elijah, took a prophetic action. Take note of this: it is not about salt. It is not about what is done in any particular situation. I told you that earlier. God can move in any way He pleases to address similar issues. In their instance, the man of God took some salt, ministered it at the at the river, at the strategic point, and the waters were healed instantly. The old, persistent problem, with all time Israel, that problem suddenly stopped. You will see the end of that old-time challenge. That problem will not see your end. That problem will not finish you. Through the help of God that has come now, you and your family will see the end of that challenge. You shall overcome. You will have victory. Things will work well from now in the name of Jesus. The Bible says, "And the waters were healed from that day." From that day onwards. So, in that case, there was a prophetic intervention, and the Lord honored the prophetic action and pronouncements that were made over the problem on hand.
In First Kings chapter 3, verse 25 to 27, was Solomon with those two women who were in a very fierce argument over who had a living child and who had the dead child. And what was the solution? Through the wisdom of God, God led him to do something that exposed the truth. In any area of life where there is currently some confusion and some contention, God will give you wisdom on what exactly to do that will end that confusion. Whoever is wrongly or falsely laying claim to something around you, the Lord will give you a word of wisdom and a step of wisdom to take that will expose such persons in the name of Jesus. So, the solution sometimes will just be for God to give you wisdom, for God to give your family wisdom, for God to give someone in a strategic position, an elder or a leader, wisdom on what to do. And once that thing is done, that storm will cease. That problem will be stopped. And everybody will be able to move forward in peace.
Genesis chapter 27, 21-24. We saw how Jacob came forward to take the blessing of his son. And at that point, Isaac was disturbed. And he voiced it out. As Jacob was pretending to be Esau, he said, "You know, your hands are like the hands of Esau. You know, it's all, but your voice is sounding like the voice of Jacob." So, I pray that going forward, nobody will go behind you to successfully take something that is so valuable that belongs to you in the name of Jesus. If you understand the meaning of this prayer, let your amen be louder here. The Lord. So, what could have happened there? Isaac already said that something was wrong. What would have solved the problem? What would have solved that issue there? Patience. Because Esau had gone to get his favorite meal, his venison for him. And Esau was on his way. He was on his way. So, whatever deception was going to take place, it had to happen quickly within a limited time. So, if Isaac had just decided, "Well, your hand looks so much like the hand of Esau, your voice sounds so much like the voice of Jacob, let me hold on on this, on this blessing. Let me just hold on a bit. Come back in the evening. Come back in the evening." I would have said to everything, "It would have settled everything." Because in a matter of a few hours, Esau would have showed up, and the deception that was he was the father was being exposed to would have been averted and exposed. So, when things are wrong, sometimes what will save you is patience. Don't sign that contract. Don't sign that check. Be patient. Don't say yes. Don't make a commitment. Just wait a little longer. There is something that you can't see right now that just within a little time will be exposed with time.
And in Genesis chapter 39, Genesis chapter 39, verse 6 to 20, we see and we read the story of a young man called Joseph, who was doing so well in the house of Potiphar. And the Bible says, "Suddenly his master's wife started lusting after him." Joseph resisted, voiced out strong reasons for that very, very laudable decision. And that would not check her. She was so determined. So, at that point, he had to run. He had to run and left his garment in her hands. But the moment that happened, this woman who had been professing love, love, and love to the same Joseph for so long, suddenly turned around against him with a big lie, with a very damaging accusation that the same Joseph attempted to sleep, rape her. So, what do we learn? What could have been the solution? No matter how well-placed we are, let's learn to also give people opportunity to defend themselves. Even if it has to be done discreetly, even if you didn't want to call Joseph in the presence of his wife to tell him what happened, he should still have given him the opportunity to explain what happened. Because he's on record in the scriptures that Joseph was never given that opportunity. And then, in this present times, there are some things that should be in place in your residence to save a lot of things, including attacks. CCTV has solved many problems. Even in the church, people have stolen in the church, and all kinds of investigation was done. Nobody owned up until the CCTV recording was played out, and it exposed the person behind that theft in the church. There are many unresolved cases of assassination that have taken place. If only there were CCTV cameras installed in that house where the man was killed, that office where they came to kill him, it would have revealed the identity of someone involved in that act. I don't know what way God will use to expose something urgently to someone listening to this message, but I can tell you that the Lord will certainly expose it to you. If you are anyone, if there's anyone listening to this message and you are in the position of yourself, you have suffered or you are still suffering for what you never did as a result of the intentional lies and slander of someone somewhere, the Lord expose everything that truly happened in the name of Jesus. The Lord vindicates you. The Lord sets you free. And whatever damage has been done, in a mysterious way, as God did for Joseph, the Lord grant you a great divine restoration in the name of Jesus. So, be sensitive to your intuition. When you don't have peace in your spirit, be patient and avoid taking any particular decision. Avoid making that choice. Avoid making that investment. Hold on for a while until you have peace in your spirit. It will save you of many potential problems. Praise the Lord. [Music] You.
