DAVE CHAPPELLE IS F*CKED (& RFK Cut Off A Raccoon P*nis)

Secular Talk10:42

Transcription

God damn, man. God damn. This story is kind of crazy.

So, um, Dave Chappelle came out and he said basically that he hates his new Republican friends. So, for those of you who don't know Dave Chappelle, uh, he went through this. And by the way, before this, one of the goated comedians of all time, like everybody I know loves Dave Chappelle, like my age group. Um, you know, we watch Chappelle Show growing up and like that. He was viewed as genuinely one of the goats of comedy, right?

Uh, well, then he went through this phase where for I don't know, three, four years straight or whatever it was, uh, could not help himself and like just trans joke after trans joke after trans joke. Like every special he released, he would do like 20 to 40 minutes on trans people. Uh, not like literally having sex with trans people, but like, but like talking non-stop about trans people. Um, and like, you know, he made a joke that he got some backlash for. He lost his mind because he got backlash for it. And then he doubled down and quadrupled down and quintupled down. And now he realizes, oh, uh, it seems like only hardcore Republican who I hate are now still willing to ride for me.

Okay, so, uh, Variety says Chappelle says he resents how the Republican party ran on transgender jokes. Quote, "I felt like they were doing a weaponized version of what I was doing. That's not what I was doing." So he's trying to say, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. When I was making like, you know, bigoted jokes, uh, it doesn't really count as bigoted because I'm not really a bigot, but these Republicans actually are bigots and like they like the I'm saying. Well, what does that tell you, Dave? What does that tell you? If they like the I'm saying when you're punching down at a marginalized community, maybe you should re-evaluate the I'm saying. Maybe you should re-evaluate the the the mental state you were in and the spite that you were operating with because, yeah, there's a reason why they like it. There's a reason why they with you. They with you because they think, "Oh yeah, he's one of us." Like he he hates this marginalized community. That's what's up. That's how they think. And like they're not wrong. They didn't pull that out of their ass. They have reason to believe that you're like, you know, an anti-trans obsessed person, right? Cuz you basically prove that to the world for years on end.

So he goes on and he says, "I was on Capitol Hill and everybody ran up to take pictures with me from every congressional office and I just take pictures with whoever asked. At first it was the CBC people, Congressional Black Caucus. Then here comes Lauren Boebert and she said, 'Can I get a picture?' And I had already taken 40 pictures. I didn't want to say no in front of everybody, but I didn't know the phrase. I respectfully declined. So, I just took the picture. And then she posted the picture and said something to the effect of just two people that know that it's just two genders just instantly like weaponized or politicized." So, I got to the arena and I just lit her ass up for doing that. And she should never do that to a person like me.

But yeah, here's the thing, Dave. You put something out in the world, right? And people are going to do with it what is ever the most straightforward thing. So the most straightforward takeaway from what you said was like, "Yeah, he doesn't with trans people. He doesn't like trans people. He's anti-trans, right? He's one of us on this issue." So you can't put that out in the world and then be mad when people, you know, abide by Occam's razor and take it at face value and then run with it. You can't be mad about that.

And like I think low-key he realizes I sort of up. Like I sort of miscalculated because I thought I could still have like democratic cred and left-wing cred and just like dissent on this one thing. And it's like no, if you're punching down against a marginalized community, that by its very nature is anti-equality. That by its very nature is anti-justice, right? It's anti-leftwing. It's anti- a progressive mindset. It's a conservative mindset. It's a bigoted mindset. It's just that's just a fact. It's just factual to describe it that way.

So, um, there's a lot of people who had some great points on this. So, uh, Charlotte Clymer on Twitter said, "If Dave Chappelle didn't expect his trans jokes to be weaponized by Republicans as hate speech and policy, he's the most oblivious person on the planet." She continues here and says, "But the thing is, Chappelle isn't oblivious. He's highly intelligent and perceptive. He knows exactly what he's doing. For him to now pretend he didn't expect the secondary effects his commentary would create and encourage is a punk ass coward move." In other words, don't act like you didn't know. Don't act like you didn't know. And you were doing all those anti-trans jokes when it was be when it was viewed as cool and edgy to be like on the Trump train, right? It's like cool and edgy to be sort of right-leaning and subversive. Like that was during that time frame. And what did you do? You were a wave rider. That's what you were. You were a wave rider and a vibe monger. That's what you were. You were like, where the vibes at? I'm going where the vibes are at. Okay. Y'all want me to sound rightwing right now on this issue? I'll sound rightwing on this issue and that's not what real ones do. Real ones will buck the orthodoxy if it even if it's unpopular if you're saying some real ass.

So, I got another one here for you. Uh, we have uh Sarah Gibson who says the following. "The problem with making edgy jokes that punch down on vulnerable groups is no matter how you do it, no matter no matter your intent, you're empowering bigotry. Dave Chappelle's jokes weren't weaponized. They were accurately interpreted as being defamatory of trans people." Another one, uh, Skyler says, "Dude got mild internet backlash for the LGBTQ jokes in those first two specials from 2017 and has just been on an anti-cancel culture crusade ever since." It's exactly right. That's exactly what happened.

And then we have this one from Capital Q. He says, "Dave was having a public temper tantrum because he felt like he was being told he he wasn't allowed to say things and he quadrupled down. He's trying to frame it as comedy, but it was just childish, underwhelming, and lazy art." And that's a good ass point, right? Like, not only was it hack in the sense that you're going after marginalized community. The jokes weren't good, bro. It was like, you know, it was like low-hanging fruit. It's like the "do you identify as an attack helicopter" joke 78,000 times over. Like, it just came across as bland and stale and uninteresting, right? It's it just did. And so, uh, lazy is the best way to describe it.

And then so it's just I mean Dave's mad he made his bed and now he's gonna sleep in it, right? This is the finding out portion of the around. This is what you did, bro. You tarnished your legacy. Offer some cheap anti-trans jokes that weren't even funny in the first place. And like, but the other thing is don't act like you weren't warned. Everybody who was like criticizing him for his jokes, I'm in favor. He has the free speech to make those jokes. It is what it is. You can say whatever the he wants to say, but there are consequences to the things you say, right? That's just how it is. Like you just got to deal with that.

So, uh, and he's not he's not handling it well. He's not dealing with it well because now he realizes like, especially in this moment where it's very clear there's a rising tide of, you know, fascism and and terrorism and imperialism and Trump has lost his goddamn mind and people on the right. I think somebody like Dave correctly looks at people on the right like right now like they're literally terrorists cuz they are. And so he's like, I don't want to be associated with these people, but it's like, sorry, bro, you did associate yourself with them. There's no way out of that. And now you're trying to say, no, no, no. I'm not with you. But, you know, there's a reason why they feel like they are with you. So, you know, you're going to have to deal with that. And and it is what it is. People warned you, you didn't listen, and now here we are.

Um, and then finally, God, this is so crazy. Um, we got another RFK Jr. banger, y'all. I mean, you guys know all the stories about RFK Jr., you know that this was like bathing in a in a sewage pond. Remember that? It was like a sewage creek and he was bathing in it and taking pictures of it and he was like bathing with his grandkids or whatever the. Very bizarre, very strange. Um, this thinks nicotine is good for you. Um, he takes a peptide that makes his skin darker. He's on testosterone. Like he's of course deeply deeply antivaccine. He's got all these crazy ass beliefs. Um, and there was a story of him, remember he like strapped a dead whale to his car or something and was driving with it and it was like leaking blood and intestines all over the road. Remember that? Um, I'm I'm butchering the the specifics, but Oh, he picked up a a bear, a dead bear in like Central Park or something, was it? It could have been Central Park. There's no bear in Central Park. I guess it was upstate New York or whatever. He picked up a dead bear and like brought it home. Remember that? And like was eating the roadkill. There was allegations he ate a dog. Remember that? Remember that? Like, this is a weird guy, bro. This is a weird guy.

So, this guy who's the head of HHS and like quite literally the most anti-scientific person in the country. We got a new absolute banger that just dropped. Ready for this? This is in the New York Post. RFK Jr. once chopped off a dead raccoon's penis to study it later during a family road trip. Bruh. Bruh. Bro, do I have to read that sentence again to y'all? Do I have to read that sentence again to y'all? RFK Jr. once chopped off a dead raccoon's penis to study later during a family road trip. You know what? You know what I think is a great idea? Let's have that guy make health decisions for you and me. Let's have that guy decide the vaccine schedule for our kids, right? Like, let's have that guy determine what scientific research we should fund. Let's have that guy cut off like cancer grants. Let's do that. Like what the this country this is like this is like straight up a sign of the end times, dog. The fact that this has any power whatsoever. He's a goddamn crank.

And then by the way, the other thing is all these in the Trump regime, they just want to be me. Like they just want to be podcasting, right? They want to be a podcaster. They want to be a YouTuber. All of them end up getting in front of a camera and doing what I'm doing except doing it worse, right? So now he's got a new podcast. All right. All right. Well, if you're going to do the podcast, RFK, at least tell us about the time you chopped off a dead raccoon's penis to study it later. Did you suck off the dead raccoon's penis? Is that what you did? Did you lick it? Cuz I know you're into eating all sorts of weird creepy ass. What' you do with the dead raccoon's penis? Did you dissect it? Like, I need to know. I need to know. What were you do? Were you like ingesting certain parts of it because you think it's good for your libido or some. That's some he would do. I'm just saying that's some he would do.

So, god damn, man. Holy. This guy's not right in the head, bro. Like, he's actually not right in the head. And you know what? He was a heroin addict for how many years? Like, I actually think his brain chemistry is up. Maybe he's one of those people who, you know, he's just like he was born with some screws loose and some wires crossed or whatever the. But he ain't right, dog. He ain't right. And this is the kind of person who's making all the health decisions for the country right now. Embarrassing, disturbing. Um, and yeah, I don't know what else to say about it, but what a headline, dog. What a headline.
