Crude oil jumped 3% to near $90 again due to fears of escalating Iran-US tensions. Iran accused the US of breaking the ceasefire. It said it would respond to every attack. Gift Nifty fell 60 points to near 23,900. Dow Futures rose 40 points. Japanese and Korean markets reached new life highs. US markets touched new peaks on the strength of tech stocks. Nasdaq and S&P made life highs intraday and closed at record levels. Nasdaq jumped 300 points, but Dow fell by about 120 points. Silver slipped ₹6100 to near ₹270600, while gold closed down ₹1500 near ₹157600. Yesterday, on monthly expiry, FIIs sold ₹2400 crore in cash, totaling net sales of ₹4290 crore, while domestic funds injected ₹1361 crore into the market for the seventh consecutive day. [Music] ONGC and Cement results were weaker than expected. Today, results of Cummins PG Electropast and GMR Airports will be released in F&O. The government will sell up to 2% stake in Coal India through OFS. The issue will open today for non-retail at a floor price of ₹412 and for retail on Friday. Voda Idea's subscriber numbers increased for the third consecutive month. Over 53,000 new customers were added in April. Today, with the start of the June series, GE Vernova, TAD, and Keda Khetan will be included in F&O, and Zee Entertainment announced the launch of four new Unite At Sports channels. Football, cricket, badminton, kabaddi, and boxing, among other sports events, will also be covered.
