Thank you all for your support, thank you! Hey everyone, this is QY Maple. In this video, I'll be sharing some Skill recommendations for 3rd-class Knight players in Aqualis. This should help you have a much smoother experience while clearing stages, and help you gain more EXP to level up faster. These are the Skill setups that I've always personally loved using. Without further ado, let's dive right in!

Alright, first up is this setup for Kingdom stages. Now, even though I labeled it for "Kingdom," it actually works perfectly fine for Fantasy Ascent as well. Since Knights have so many viable builds at 3rd class, I'll focus primarily on introducing them based on the Knight's core mechanics. You can take this baseline and tweak it according to your own stats, such as your Block rate. For instance, I've selected "Luminous Shield" here, but if the Block rate from your Gear is already high enough, you can easily swap this out for "Valor Surge"—that works perfectly too.
Now, this specific setup is quite popular. It mainly revolves around using "Eye for an Eye" to massively boost the damage of "Star Shattering Slash" and "Forceful Charge." Because these two skills have longer, desynced cooldowns, staggering them ensures that you can get full value every time they are cast. You could say it maximizes the damage boost. Let's take a quick look at how this plays out.
Moving on to the next setup, this one is a skill combination that leans much more into offense. It provides plenty of AOE damage, and utilizes "Eye for an Eye" to massively increase your burst against elite monsters. At the same time, your shields will significantly boost your own damage, and that shield can further increase your ATK through "Defensive Assault." Plus, if you have Aegiswing paired with "Insightful Eye," you can push your Crit Rate even higher. This build leans heavily toward a "Duelist Knight" style— honestly, you could just call it a Duelist Knight. It focuses squarely on a DPS role. Let's see how this setup performs in action.
Of course, you can also experiment with this approach— for example, using "Valor Surge" to drastically increase your "Rebound" damage. Since "Valor Surge" scales up your base damage stats, the numbers on the right will scale up with every single reflection hit.
Ultimately, by sharing these three builds, my hope is that you can identify which core skills are truly indispensable— the ones you'll end up running regardless of your specific setup. Skills like "Eye for an Eye," "Rebound," and "Star Shattering Slash" are great examples. The goal is to understand the underlying theory rather than just copy it blindly. Every monster has completely different stats, and everyone's Skill Rank varies. Many players might be at Mythic, some might even still be at Legendary, while others may have used their Skill Shard Vouchers to push them all the way to Immortal. That creates a pretty substantial performance gap.
Next up is the Water Knight. The Water Knight style leans a bit more toward aggression. Because of that, there are even more build options. For instance, the one I'm showcasing here is a more balanced setup. But if you prefer a full DPS style, running something like this is completely viable too. If you want to be tankier, swapping skills to look like this is also absolutely fine. You can make your choice during combat based on your actual needs. Or, say, if the monster's damage output is much higher, using this specific setup works perfectly as well. It works great for single-target situations too.
The core strategy is utilizing two shields with staggered cooldowns to repeatedly trigger Ripple Impact, dealing a massive amount of burst damage. Now, "Defensive Assault" actually scales up the damage of Ripple Impact. And keeping "Pursuit of Victory" equipped will also boost your overall damage, since Chilled counts as a negative effect. As things stand, the Water Knight is much better suited for PVE monsters whose Power heavily eclipses your own. Like in Kingdom stages or Fantasy Ascent. It really isn't suited for PVP. Because the range on this shield explosion is too short and comes with too many restrictions. So I wouldn't really recommend it.
Next up is Dungeons, which are relatively straightforward. Your main priority here is soaking up damage. Since Knights naturally have the lowest damage output among all Classes— and by that, I mean their overall DPS efficiency— and because the Class is famous for outlasting enemies in long, drawn-out fights, I personally love running this particular build. Of course, you can always choose to bring some healing skills if you want. The reason I run "Lunarwater Threads" here is mainly because it pulls all the monsters directly to your position, forcing every single one of them to get hit by your subsequent "Heart of Challenge." After all, "Heart of Challenge" has a limited effective range. If you want to maximize your taunt efficiency across all targets, having "Wunarwater Threads" is an absolute necessity.
Now let's move on to PVP. For PVP, I'm going to recommend a combination that I personally enjoy using. The setup you're looking at right now is the one I highly recommend. However, I do need to emphasize one thing here. The core focus of PVP is adapting your own loadout based on the opponent's setup so that you can specifically counter what they are running. You can't just rely on a single, fixed combination of skills. An "all-in-one universal setup" simply doesn't exist. Because every opponent you face in PVP will use completely different skills.
When you're clearing Kingdom stages, monster loadouts are always static— they have fixed positioning, fixed skills, and predictable damage. But PVP introduces far more variables. I strongly encourage everyone to learn exactly what every single skill does, rather than just copying setups blindly.
Let me give you an example. This loadout right here is my baseline, all-purpose PVP build. But if you run into a Duelist or a Sorcerer who can completely dispel your "Luminous Shield," then obviously, you shouldn't be bringing it anymore, right? Running it would be entirely pointless. In that scenario, you might want to consider options like "Leap Slash" or "Stunning Strike" instead. If you're dealing with opponents who favor multi-hit multi-stage skills, then something like "Eye for an Eye" becomes glaringly more effective. For example, you could slot it right here, and by moving this skill up in priority, it will yield much better results. I'm just illustrating a few examples here.
Alternatively, say you run into certain enemies, like some Sorcerers, who really prefer to keep their distance and stay far away. Then you can look into an alternative like this. The core takeaway is to always think on your feet. I hope you guys adapt dynamically instead of just copying templates.
Now, if you want to know which skills form the absolute core for Knights— the ones you should absolutely prioritize leveling up using your Skill Shard Vouchers— you can find all of that broken down over in my Discord server. I've already fully compiled everything there well ahead of time. This way, you'll always know exactly which skills to focus on long before you even hit your next Class advancement, instead of having to wait around for other YouTubers or for my own YouTube channel to drop a video update. More importantly, the data-driven recommendations I provide account for both the meta-defining options of the current Season and skills that will retain high utility moving forward. So whether you're looking to identify safe, long-term investments or looking for quick power spikes to drastically improve your ranking, you can find it all on my Discord.
That pretty much wraps up our 3rd-class Knight Skill guide for this video. I'd love to hear your thoughts on these setups. Let me know in the comments, and I'll see you in the next one. Bye-bye!
