The Truth Behind The Rise Of Populism | How The Elite Are Tricking Working Americans

Anything that isn't rooted in the interests of the American people and a genuine fear of God will not stand the test of time. At a time when our young men in the country of their forefathers [music] can only dream of affording a home, can only dream of starting a family. As we barrel towards yet another war in the Middle East for Israel, the options are becoming desperate and the circumstances more dire. And yet ask yourself truthfully, do you really think somebody isn't going to take advantage of that?

Folks, welcome back to the narrative with me, your host, Will Sexton, the host with the most and the most slow news weeks. Speaking of slow news weeks, yes, this past week has been quite slow. Unfortunately, I could do a whole another video talking about Iran, talking about the buildup to a war, them talking about the straight of Hormuz, them making a deal, the deal falling apart, but we've done that story what, like a hundred times at this point. I already did a whole stream about the Nick Fuentes Hunter Biden interview, which if you haven't seen, you absolutely should go check out. Definitely a big moment.

But beyond that, I I thought I'd take this as an opportunity to talk a little more about the bigger picture in politics. It's one thing to be a commentator and commentate on what's going on. It's another thing to be able to look at the bigger picture and talk about where is our society going. Judging by my views and the views of literally everyone else, it seems that anti-Israel sentiment is clearly becoming the American norm. I think that's fine to say. At the very least, it's becoming the American norm for people who are politically engaged, for those who like to keep up with American politics, which is a sector of the country that's growing more and more. Something that's arguably unfortunate. I I don't like that actually. I would much prefer not to be involved in politics at all or really just be involved in it from a fascination standpoint. I don't like that my ability to own a home or to like live a meaningful life is now dependent upon the Congress of the United States. What terrible, terrible circumstance we found ourselves in.

But alongside this anti-Israel sentiment is another rising trend on both sides of the political aisle that really is affecting all of the American people. Before we get into all that, be sure to like, subscribe, hit the bell to get notified anytime I make a new post. And let me know down below what you want to hear about on the channel next. Other people have mentioned it before, but it hasn't really been given a proper time in the spotlight. I'm speaking, of course, about populism, economic populism, social populisms. I mean, every form of populism there is. It seems that as times are getting more and more tough, people aren't as worried about partisanship. They're not as worried about ideological allegiance and are more so worried about solutions. Politicians who are moving, who are going in the interest of a grander snapshot of the public and focus on addressing the clear inequalities that exist in our society on the economic side.

And so I wanted to take a quick look at a little video that didn't make a lot of rounds actually. Very niche video. Didn't get a ton of views, but I think it said a lot about where our society is and where politics is currently sitting at. a clip involving a Michigan senatorial candidate and one Jake Lang, which by the way, Jake Lang, he could get his own video. I mean, I don't I don't want to make like hate videos where I just talk bad about somebody for half an hour, but man, just awful content. I've used the word hate slop before. That's really all this guy makes is he makes hate slop. It's classless, unfunny, just.

And in keeping in that grand tradition of hate slop, let's see what Jake Lang did at this senatorial campaign event.

>> Why are you persecuting me? WE'RE GOING TO CLAP HIM OUT. USA.

>> The reason I wanted to clap him out to USA is because he doesn't hate me. He doesn't hate AG. He don't even hate you. You know what he hates? He hates America. He hates the idea of what America was always supposed to be of the people, by the people, and for the people where it should not matter the color of your skin, should not matter how you pray, should not matter who you love, that you can be fully and 100% America. He hates that America.

>> He wants America to be small. [clears throat] He wants America to be like him. He wants America to be hateful. He wants America to be a place that does not include. And every day that we go out there and we knock on those doors, we make an argument about what America actually is. An America that is bigger than his hate. [clears throat] An America that is bigger than the small-mindedness that he brings to this. An America that has a bigger heart than the one that he has. An America that is bigger than a Donald Trump who thinks that some people don't get to belong here because of their color of their skin. An America that is bigger than the idea that we all can come together and pray how we choose or not pray at all. An America is bigger that is bigger than Mike Rogers and the corporate corruption that they all take to run these campaigns to pick our pocket. The America they believe in is one where a few people who look a particular way get to siphon off your money to make billions. That's the America they want. That's the America he represents. That's the America he's so mad he didn't get. And as much as that's an ugly display of the America they want for us, this here is a beautiful display of the America we can yet build.

Riveting stuff. Very lovely speech. Very riveting speech. But as you may know at home, that was speech given by one Dr. Abdul El Say, Michigan's Democratic senatorial candidate. Now, there's a reason why I found this clip so fascinating. It's because it shows where we are politically. See, say is part of this grander DSA progressive economic populist push. If you look at his messaging, it's rooted in the usual tactic. It's anti-Israel, vaguely anti-billionaire, vaguely anti-oligarchy, affordability focused, housing focused. I mean, all these things that we've come to associate with populism and really the DSA brand of economic populism.

Now, if you know me, you know my content, you know the things that I value. You may be saying to yourself, "Well, Will, what's the problem? Why would you have a problem with this guy? He seems like he's going for a lot of the things that you like." And that's true. He is going for a lot of the things that I like. I want to see better economic opportunity. I want to see affordable homes. I want to see a break up of the oligarchal forces that are basically leading this country in a death spiral. But there's a very, very insidious plot going on here. There's a word he didn't say throughout that entire thing that I found incredibly interesting that it wasn't included. It was really the first time in any of this kind of politician's rhetoric that it specifically wasn't included. And there's a political reason for that, that word being white. White like me, like the race white.

If this were 2017, 2020, the minute that Jake Lang, who let me be clear, I'm not trying to defend in any capacity, but the minute Jake Lang started screaming, if this was 2017 to 2020, the first words out of everyone's mouth would have been white supremacist, colonizer, racist, all these terms that we came to associate with the woke period. And really, it's racial tingent. But none of that happened here. Instead, the word white is never uttered. And the guy starts chanting USA, then gives this long speech about how the USA is this great populist inclusive place. Why is that? A guy who's endorsed by Mum Donnie, by all these other DSA candidates who have had all sorts of insane things to say about white Americans, why why is he not jumping to that line? Well, a lot of people think Mumani is the current standard for like the new Democrat politician. It's not very true. Mani is the mayor of a city that's 30% white and has a significant immigrant population. So his rhetoric, it does, it really only reflects the values of that city. See, this guy is running for Senate in Michigan, a state that is nearly 80% white, middle America, workingclass America. I mean, this is real slice of the heartland. And so he can't say that. That'll hand him nothing but a horrific loss in the election. And so he has to tune the message a different way. Hey, he has to tune the message away from racial politics and more towards this like open economic populism.

And here's the thing, if it was genuine, I would like to see that. I'd be happy to see that. The problem is it's very clearly not. He has been endorsed up and down by all these different politicians who are all pretty much avowedly anti-american and in many cases specifically anti-white and have just said things that are psychotic about white people. Let me also be clear that the guy wants to abolish ICE. Like he's one of these people who wants to abolish ICE and give money out for free and just like have no borders. Completely borderless America, international cosmopolitan America. And there's a reason why that's scary to me. For two big reasons.

My first fear being that a borderless cosmopolitan society is exactly what the oligarchy wants. And let it be known the only people still funding politicians on the left in a big meaningful capacity almost akin to that of the Israel lobby are the agricultural baronss who historically have supported candidates on both sides. Republican candidates who insist that they're going to make sure illegals never become citizens and left-wing candidates that insist that the illegals will be allowed to come in. Do you understand why that mix of policy, an agricultural baron might like that? a mass influx of illegal immigration, but none of them are made citizens. None of them are ever naturalized. So, they're just like permanent illegals, like a permanent spout of illegals flowing constantly. Why? Why would an agricultural baron who runs America's corn fields and strawberry fields, peach trees, peppers? Why Why would they like that? Labor, cheap labor that they have built our entire agricultural sector for the last like 30 years around this idea that they're going to pay their workers $5 per sometimes. They just dress these things up in rhetoric. They dress these things up in racial rhetoric, in class rhetoric, all this stuff. It's not a surprise that they're going to be running this strategy in a state that does 125 billion in solely agriculture. With a quickly declining amount of family-owned farms and a quickly increasing amount of corporateowned farms, those same corporations being responsible for the funding of political candidates like this. He ts himself constantly as this anti-billionaire politician who isn't taking super PAC money. But let's be clear, the money originates in the hands of agricultural baronss and moneyed interests. Moneyed interest that is also then funding the other side of the aisle, the people who are calling for closed borders and the crackdown illegal immigration. The point is, it's never going to come. The goal isn't to have mass amnesty of illegals or to create this more inclusive America. It's to have an infinite supply of cheap labor to ensure that Americans are kept out of jobs and the richest of us benefit.

And two, my biggest fear around this is that one of the main tactics that this attempt at politics utilizes is race baiting. Mani, this guy, all their contemporaries, they utilize a lot of race baiting. They utilize a lot of immigrant dissident feelings. America has this new growing immigrant population of people we've gone to war with. People that we've bombed. People who whether consciously or subconsciously have a sincere and deeply held grievance towards Western society, towards white people, towards America. And the problem is that as white people become less and less of a majority, we have this growing bigger faction of people who possess a profound resentment towards us. And so all the different rights and all the different civil guarantees that we offered people in the face of racism and all these terrible things, what are the chances that we get those back? Like is that going to happen? Are they going to give that to us? No, I don't I don't think so. And the thing is, it's not like the politicians actually have an affinity for any of these things. They don't care, right? They don't care about race. They don't care about any of these things. The problem is they whip up the public in favor of that racial tensions and national tensions in public. It's very clear what they're attempting to do. They're trying to lock down the brown vote and then utilize this like economic populist almost socially libertarian messaging to swoop in and grab some of the white voters and hopefully get the guy elected. If he doesn't get elected, his competition will who really just serves the same exact interest that being the agricultural barons just in the inverse.

And the biggest thing about this that that kills me is that the guy continuously posits himself as well as the other DSA people as the definitive anti-Israel candidates. And this has become the language that they're utilizing. They have decided to put Israel and this vague notion of billionaire together. If you go against them for whatever reason, then that means you are now in favor of the state of Israel and in favor of this miscellaneous vague notion of billionaire despite the fact that one, they're being funded by billionaires and two, nothing about what they want is damaging to billionaires in any capacity. It's literally only billionaires that want a borderless, cultureless, meaningless society entirely based around a writhing peasantry that is flailing and attempting to get by while the richest of us profit. And it just so happens that the riches of us tend to have an affinity with the state of Israel.

Furthermore, my problem with the dissident left is that they don't they come at Israel from the absolute wrong side. They don't understand the problem of Israel in a meaningful way. To them, Israel is like this third worldist cause. It's this settler colonial white country of white people doing a hecken colonization. When no, that's not the problem of Israel. The problem of Israel is that there are dually loyal political actors in the most powerful country on earth, the most nuclear armed country on earth, dumping money into their religious psychosis fanatical state committing a genocide not at the behest of settler colonialism or capitalism or imperialism. It's at the behest of their beliefs. It's the Jewish state. Like it's at behest of revisionist Zionism, of third temple Judeaic Zionism. They talk a lot about the Epstein class. But meanwhile, if you look into what Epstein had to say about society and class, Epstein didn't feel a lot of affinity for someone like me. Didn't really have an affinity for billionaires with names like mine. He had more of an affinity for millionaires and even less moneyed individuals with names like his. Furthermore, none of these dissident left people want to ban dual citizenship. They don't believe in the idea of American nationhood, of American sovereignty, which all that does is just lend more power to the Israel problem. The Israel problem is only allowed to exist because of diaspora politics. And finally, the most important point, none of them are going to do anything anyways. Like the matter of stopping Israel is a lot deeper than one senator or one mayor or one congressperson. It's a much bigger issue that is going to require the public mandate of really the entirety of America, if not the vast majority.

The things that are within his control are the things that are only going to add to our quality of life problem. How how how are we supposed to have cheap homes when 30% of the inflation on housing right now is directly caused by the presence of illegal migration? How are we ever going to utilize our tax dollars to help out the American public when 47% of it is already being dumped into welfare entitlements and yet none of us none of us are benefiting from that in a meaningful capacity? It's largely being spent on boomers, illegals, and billionaire tax cuts. That's the three big things. Like their refusal to interface with the very clear problem of internationalism in our society is a huge threat because they're managing to Trojan horse themselves into the government.

And finally, I I've made this very clear before. I'm interested in multi-racial politics. I am I am by no means a white nationalist. I'm not. I'm very interested in multi-racial politics. I like people of other races, but why do must they hate me? That's my great question for anybody who follows me who's more of the DSA elk. Why? Why do you need to hate me? I don't understand. It's been made like abundantly clear throughout politics that white people for the most part are open to the idea of multi-racialism, that they're inviting of the idea and welcoming to the idea. They have multi-racial friend groups. They believe in the idea of meritocracy. All this stuff. It's been made very clear that white people are interested in that. It's just it's only the other people who aren't interested in that. This is why diaspora politics become a problem. This is why something like Apac is able to function is because these people view themselves as different because of a resentment and innate dislike of American society, of Christendom, of white society. They've managed to segment themselves off, become sectarian, un assimilated, and then they utilize that in dual loyalty to fund the state of Israel. It's the same problem with US Impact and India. And it kills me to think that the only option is that all the white people are going to have to become like hyper white nationalists. I don't want to do that. I don't want to see the mass deportation of anybody xshade darker than me. I don't I don't want to see that. But if we continue to allow this rhetoric to stir up the people, which could be united, then that's where things are going to go.

But all of that then takes me to the other side of the question. We're talking about left-wing populism. But what about right-wing populism? Cuz like I said, both sides of the aisle are focused on this right now. Both sides of the aisle are seeing a growing faction of populism. And a great example of this is something that one of our favorites, Tucker Carlson, said recently.

>> This has been going on for over 60 years. I don't think it's actually helped that much. It's made people hate each other. But it's also obscuring the true >> crisis in the country which has nothing to do with race and has to do with economics and the people benefiting from the private equity scams and the crypto scams and all the other scams underway in the American economy. We don't really produce anything. We just lend money at high interest. Sell real estate again and again. Those people are getting richer than everyone else, the billionaire class. And they don't want to deal with questions about how exactly this works. why are they paying half the taxes that you're paying as a wage earner? Like, I don't really get that. And they don't want to have to defend it. So, instead, they're like, the real problem is race and these whites are just bad and they've taken all the stuff. Well, actually, if you look at the numbers, that's insane. One of the biggest groups of poor people in this country is white. Are they privileged? I don't think they are. So, like, it's not about race. We should treat all American citizens equally. That's the whole point of the civil rights movement. That's the whole point of the Constitution. and we're not and we should and then just say look it's not about ignoring the crimes of the past which we should not do.

>> We should never lie about anything. It's just about being honest about what's actually happening and the real problems stem from the way our tax code is structured and most people don't even think about it because no one in the media ever talks about it.

>> It's like really so if I invest money I pay half the tax rate as if I go to work. So, are we saying that it's twice as virtuous to invest or to get inherited money as it is to have a job? That's what we are saying because we tax things we want to discourage. That's why cigarettes are expensive.

I think he's absolutely right. He's absolutely right in everything that he's saying and I I want to say that he's right across the board, but I have one disagreement in this or one caveat in this. The problem that Tucker Carlson has in this is that it's coming from our perspective. It's coming from the white, more specifically like the Wasp perspective because him and I are both like heritage American Wasps. And so like I get the perspective. The problem is that we we need to address racial differences in this country. We do. Because while yes, I would agree that a lot of these things are artificially pumped up by media, by politicians, by political hopeful. Absolutely. That's without a doubt. The problem is that people fall for it. Like people believe it. And at a certain point, if enough people believe something, it manifests itself into a political truth. Racial differences in this country are definitively real. They are. And whether or not that's biological, I don't that's not I'm not a scientist. But the fact is this, people who are not white, see themselves as such. And furthermore, people from other countries, unless made to be American, will see themselves as that other country. And we can hope that it's a country that has positive relations with us, that has a general attitude towards us that's positive. But more often than not, because of how economic migration works, it's countries that don't have a good view of us. And so, we've effectively imported a population of people who associate America with whiteness, with people who look like me. And they've been taught to hate America and are being whipped up by politicians on race rhetoric largely funded by agricultural barons to allow the continued flow of illegal migration and the further cosmopolitanation of America. And the result is they hate people like me. They hate people who look like us. And so this narrative of well we should just put aside race. We should put aside all that. That's a very us thing to do. I want to put aside race. I want to put aside all these things. I'm a I believe in this idea. I believe that there's a commonality in mankind. I believe there's a commonality amongst faith. That no one person has a monopoly on piety. And that while yes, I believe in my faith. I believe in my understanding of God as the one true understanding. I I don't wish to persecute or exclude anyone for how they view the one true God. But the problem is that we have allowed this festering of anti-American sentiment. That's the problem. Someone like Dr. Abdul Als merely adopting this messaging of being pro-America, this messaging of what the people really want. Because the American people are very clear about what they want. The American people are clear about what they need. Because yes, we don't need race rhetoric. We don't need hatred of white people. And we don't need the inverse white hatred of others. I've said it once, I'll say it again, I'll say it a million times. America is now definitively multi-racial, at least in some objective and unchangeable capacity. It just it is what it is. Even with the deportation of all illegals, even with an immigration moratorum, even with all these things, cancellation of all visas, you're you're left with an America that is definitively multi-racial. We need to address that. This old era method of simply shrugging away race, that doesn't work anymore. We need to have a serious conversation surrounding national sovereignty, surrounding the concept of who we are as a people and how we actually can reconcile the idea of race. What the American people need more than anything is a true American first platform. An Americanonly platform. One that is profoundly patriotic, profoundly nationalistic and focused on the betterment of all people, something that Tucker echoes here. But it needs to be made clear if we are going to see this country, see this union through this next century, the tribalism of this country needs to stop. The vast majority of white people have hopped on board with this. They've gotten rid of the tribalism. I would even argue that a good amount of black people have hopped in on this. But the problem we have is with the newer generations of Americans. We need to place a serious and sincere effort on Americanization and the removal the really the re-education of innate American hatred. Because let it be known, it's from American hatred. It's from internationalism that all the things that all these people associate with America and associate with hating America, it's where they come from. Internationalism enabled Epstein, dual citizenship, free trade, the financier class, all all these things are only enabled by internationalism. A rooted nationalist government that is based around civic order and the cultural identity of America would like Epstein would not have been able to form within that. housing, secularization. I mean, all all these things that are plaguing the people of this country, all all of it is coming from internationalism. This is our biggest threat. And the problem that I have with the DSA is that to me it seems like they are Trojan horsing internationalism into our country yet again, but under the guise of a left-wing economic populism that is never actually going to come to fruition.

I've been asked before about the biggest issues of our time. what what are we actually facing in America right now? And it's very simple. The threat that we're facing is internationalism. Okay? Obviously, we know who leads the charge on internationalism. And while yes, the state of Israel is a nation. It's recognized by the UN. It it acts as sort of a hub of internationalism. It really acts as one prong of a grander internationalist network. Okay? It's the religious like psycho fanatic aspect of the grander internationalist idea. The idea of the separation of people, chosen versus goyam, bgeoa versus proletariat, however you want to slice it. The separation of a ruling minority over an oppressed majority that lives to serve their interest. This is really the the fight of history. It's not simply a class war like Marx would describe it. And it's not simply a race war like the racialists, the Wignats would argue. It's something else. I'd really say it's a war of the soul. Those who truly believe that their soul is better than ours that possess a right ordained by God or something greater than just themselves to rule over us and to possess a rule over the people and force the American public into what is effectively a new form of peasantry. In this new century, the only way to defeat this enemy, this issue of internationalism as it pertains to all matters of civic life is through nationalism, through the rooted man.

The American identity is a confusing one right now. It absolutely is. I speak about this constantly on my channel. This is largely because of the actions of dy loyal international actors like that involved with the state of Israel. But we're left with this material reality that American isn't as simple as saying a white man or a black man, a Protestant, a Catholic, whatever. It's a little more difficult than that now. But the solution is not the DSA's drive for an internationalist cosmopolitan society where we are lorded over by a vanguard of internationalist billionaire elite. I don't want to live in that world. I don't want to live in that country. But then again, the solution isn't this like wignat solution of, oh, we'll just go back in time. We'll somehow expel all people with no regard for human life, with no regard for the progress of our society, and we'll just expel all people and somehow we'll manage to take ourselves back in time to 1963. That's not possible.

Let me make it clear what the American people want and what will save the American people. The American people are a proud people who are rooted within the soil of this land. defined not by blood, defined not by anything but the soul. The yearning for freedom, the yearning for our liberty, a deep patriotic love for America who rejects the international. It's the desire for the worker to be given his due to enjoy the fruits of his labor, his family, and to worship his god. Make no mistake if you are someone who is populist-minded like I am. What is populism without the opinion of the people?

Folks, that's going to do it for us today on this episode of The Narrative. I hope you enjoyed. If you did, be sure to like, subscribe, hit the bell to get notified anytime I make a new post. Folks, I'm trying to throw in more episodes where I just get to talk. I just get to talk about politics and talk about where we are as a society. I mean, it makes sense given right now not a lot of news trickling out. It's like the Iran War is basically a loop right now. We're just signing deals, then Israel's blowing up the deals, and then signing deals again. And I I like to save the more like historical deep dive stuff for later in the week. So let me know if you like the Monday talks. Maybe we'll we'll dedicate Monday to be a day where we just talk about the state of politics, talk about culture, talk about all these things. But if you like that kind of talk, be sure to check out Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays the streams where I especially get into these topics and I talk more direct, raw, unfiltered with all of you at home.

Folks, with all that being said, as we continue forward in these uncertain times, be certain of one thing and know that I have but one statement to make to all of you at home at the end of the day. God bless you and God bless America, folks. Until next.
