I'm at peace, so there have been many developments on the planet that LeBron James lives on by himself. Many of the so-called top sports analysts are starting to realize many of the things that I've been telling you brothers for a very long time in regards to Mr. LeBron James: number one, that he is extremely self-absorbed; that he is an overrated teammate; that not only is he passive-aggressive, but he's also delusional. He lies to himself, and that allows him to lie to other people.
Mr. Jason Whitlock is going to say something that I've stated on this channel before, which is that LeBron James is the modern-day Wilt Chamberlain. Of course, they're going to talk about it, and I'm going to chime in. Jason McIntyre, let's move to the NBA, where the trade deadline is just a couple of days away. And some people have been suggesting the Bron demand a trade from the struggling Cavaliers, but reportedly he's not going anywhere. With Yahoo's Sean Sharman, as NBA teams do due diligence on his no-trade clause and potential of him dropping it, LeBron James is determined to see the year through in Cleveland, focused on the season, and will not waive the clause. Yes, LeBron James is not gonna waive his no-trade clause because he does not want Dan Gilbert to be able to receive any assets in return for him leaving. He does not want to help Dan Gilbert at all. Don't believe the hype when LeBron goes on about how he wants to stick it out with his teammates. That's [ __ ]! LeBron wants to make sure that when he leaves the team, when he leaves that proverbial kitchen, that he leaves all the cupboards bare and empty. That is how he's operating, and I cannot particularly say that I blame him when looking in hindsight at how he was treated by Danko, but when he left initially. But once again, that proves that Kyrie Irving was very, very intelligent to get away from that [ __ ] show. Kyrie was like the child in the house where the two parents are always arguing and abusing each other. All he was doing was receiving their negative energy. Now he's in a better environment for him, and he can sit back and watch the bonfire from from afar. So kudos to Kyrie Irving.
What else is out there? It's like everybody wants their football coach fired, and it's like, who's on the market? Like, what's out there that's ideal? You sugar, ah, yeah, what's out there? I don't know. Houston. Let's slow down on Houston because then it would be LeBron, Chris Paul, who's had some knee issues, James Harden, who's a little bit of a flake, and you and I on the bench. I mean, again, like, let's take a deep breath on this stuff. They've had a rough month. They're gonna make the playoffs. It'll unfold. I don't think, like, well, a lot of what you say is true, Colin, but you also have to understand that if LeBron James were to be no receptive to a possible trade to the Houston Rockets, and he were to go there to play with Chris Paul and James Harden with you and Whitlock on the bench, he'd still have a better chance of winning the championship than he does in Cleveland. That's how you know that the reason why he's rejecting any type of trade is because he does not want to leave Vancouver with any assets, at least not in return for him. And I don't blame him. I mean, it is what it is. I think they're gonna make the playoffs. I won a couple series and that dolt. We'll see how it develops. It's not gonna make the NBA fight. Wow, listen to Colin Cowherd. LeBron James is number one fan now. He's unsure if the Cleveland Cavaliers will be able to get out of the third round. Isn't that interesting? Even many of the LeBron James stupor fans are starting to come out of hiding. They're finally starting to come out from that haze. Why wouldn't he move on? San Antonio, Houston, just for the chaser? What do you want? A Cleveland was that ring chasing? Yes, absolutely it was. Yes, it was ring chasing. He know that he knew that the writing was on the wall that Miami was finished. He was still resentful towards Pat Riley for not allowing him his way for the four years that he was there. He won the two championships, and he realized that he could go back to Cleveland and reclaim the Midwest market that he had alienated when he left because he plans on owning the Cleveland Cavaliers in 20 years. So in order for him to do that, he has to rien Gracie ate himself with that region. So that was a very good business boom by LeBron, but he certainly went back there to ring chase because he knew that he was going to get Kevin Love, and he knew that he was going to have Kyrie Irving there. That's why he was kissing Kyrie Irving's behind at the 2014 All-Star Game because he knew that the next season he'd already planned to leave Miami and go play with him. Yes, you want to bring a championship to Cleveland. That is chasing a ring. He brought Kevin Love with him. He chased. Listen, yeah, rough month. Was it October, November, December, or January? Considering their 29th in defensive efficiency, there are 30 NBA teams. If not for the Sacramento Kings, they would have the worst defense in the league. That's up. And let's be very clear. LeBron James has been one of the worst defenders in the NBA this year, one of the absolute worst. Now, whether you want to say that he's strolling the games, he's not giving his a 1 effort because he does not want Dan Gilbert to reap any benefits of his hard play, maybe he has looked across the environment of the locker room and he sees that they don't have a chance to win a championship. Whatever it is, he is not giving his all on the defensive end, and he clearly has his own agenda on the offensive end, as Tyronn Lue alluded to many weeks ago. There are people who claim that Tyronn Lue was talking about Isaiah Thomas. No, he wasn't talking about Isaiah Thomas. You're talking about LeBron James. Season-long statistics, they heard this. A disaster at the defensive end. He's not enjoying it. No one there. Disaster at the offensive end as well. No one's getting along. If this is check, please.
So what's out there? I don't know. But the idea that he's not even gonna look, of course, it's a mistake. We know how this is going to end badly. That's how it ended last time in Cleveland. Game six against the Boston Celtics. He looked out of sorts. Rumors about what's going on with his family and what's going on in that locker room. It's going to end badly. Get now, you smell smoke? Get out of the house. All right, well, here's the issue. Cleveland could not get out because he has a no-trade clause. If you're talking about LeBron getting out, no, LeBron is not gonna get out. It's almost like that movie, The War of the Roses, with Michael Douglas, where he was married, and neither he nor his wife wanted to leave the house, and they ended up spending the whole movie fighting over it. That's LeBron and Dan Gilbert. Neither one of them want to want to be the first ones to give in. LeBron states, basically, he's standing by his actions that I'm gonna leave, but I'm gonna leave on my terms, and you're not gonna get anything for me. I'm gonna make sure of that. I want to make sure that when I leave the house, that it burns down, and that is always what's going to happen to LeBron James. It stains because every team that accepts him is going to have to to accept not only his personality, but they're gonna have to change the offensive system to the LeBron James system. And when you have an offensive system that is totally predicated on appeasing him, of course, when he's out, it's going to look like no one else can function. He built up a lot of equity going back to Cleveland. Never all these casual fans, LeBron, that's a great thing. He's gonna now quit on the Cavs at the end of the season to go and chase the ring. You think that would, how do you think the perception would be? Real, Bron's got the rabbit ears. You talk about it a lot. There's no way you could do this now. Sure, he can do it. The perception would be that I'm LeBron James. I did my best to salvage a bad situation. They traded Kyrie on me, even though those of us who understand the parameters around which Kyrie was traded, Dan Gilbert was trying to make LeBron James understand that Kyrie did not want to play with him anymore, and I'm not going to keep Kyrie for your sake if you're not willing to make a commitment to the team. And I have no problem with Dan Gilbert giving LeBron James that ultimatum. LeBron is still bitter that Dan Gilbert did not conform and that couch I'll to his wishes to force Kyrie to stay to give him the best chance of winning a championship in his last year with Cleveland because this was one of his last year. No matter what, even if he had won a championship, he was going to leave, most likely to LA, because everything with LeBron is about LeBron. And I'm not necessarily knocking him for that. He's a businessman. If that says, if that is his mentality, it is what it is. Once you understand his mentality, then you have to respond accordingly, and that is what Kyrie Irving did. That is why I truly I blame no one involved in this situation. Everything is not meant to work out in a happy ending. As a matter of fact, most endings are not happy endings. Most endings are very, very, very toxic. It is what it is. But no, LeBron, once he leaves, the storyline that him and his people are going to push is that we brought a championship to the land, a city that had not won a championship in over 50 years. No matter how we got it, even though it was mostly by skullduggery, we got it. I raised the property value of the of the city of Akron. I raised the overall revenue of the city of Cleveland. I probably doubled the value of the Cleveland Cavaliers. So no one can say that I did not bring back blessings to the city of Cleveland when I came back. That will be his legacy, or that will be the narrative that he promotes once he leaves, and a lot of it will be valid. The perception if you're traded is they treated me. The perception if you sign somewhere else in the offseason is I left. No, sir. No. The perception if you're traded and you have a no-trade clause is that they traded you to the team that you wanted to be traded to, and that you therefore wanted to be traded. So it cannot be they traded me if you have a no-trade clause. So Tsarist, are you incorrect on that? That's the perception. Even if you wait or no-trade clause, LeBron can't can can manage that narrative. Hey, I want to stay, but look at way. My no-trade clause. Why would you trade me? They want to trade me. No, sir. On what planet would you wave your no-trade clause unless you already knew what team you were going to be sent to and you wanted to go there? You can't spend the narrative that way. That is why LeBron wants to stick it out for the rest of the season. Even LeBron knows that an out of like that won't work. That's why he has told his team that no, we're gonna maintain the no-trade clause. And you know what? Since some of these [ __ ] boys on the team want to run my name through the mud, I'm gonna make things harder for them. To some of these guys who have contracts coming up, since they want to try to play me, I'm gonna make them look bad. I'm gonna throw in bad passes and see what type of contract they get on their next team. Since they want to know, since they can't get my name out of your mouth in regards to Dan Gilbert, to hell with him. I'm gonna make sure that when I leave, that the overall property value of the team or the cost of the team drops so that when I come back and it's in ten years to try to buy the team, that it is not maxed out. That is the plan. If he leaves Cleveland without them getting anything in return, he tried. He stuck it out. Everybody in Cleveland, and not everybody, but a lot of people, so he's leaving. Yeah, he's blamed it on Dan Gilbert, forced me out. The reality is he's leaving. It appears that is a reality, and that's not going to be the perception other than by the LeBron James super fans in the media. They're going to try to create and concoct this narrative that LeBron was forced out of Cleveland by Dan Gilbert. And any one of us who have even the remotest level of cognitive function will understand that no, that's not what happened. It is LeBron James who put Dan Gilbert in a situation where he had to move Kyrie, Nikola, Brook, because Dan Gilbert understood that why would I appease a man who was not going to stay here? If Kyrie does not want to be here, I'm not going to allow Kyrie to sabotage our season. So send Kyrie off to Boston, a team that has the most assets and the most draft picks to give up, and let LeBron James to get out on his own. Since he's supposed to be the greatest player of all time, he's probably better than Jordan. He should be able to make it work with anybody, right? Allegedly. Very sick. And so Cleveland can get something back in return. Wouldn't that be better than getting nothing? Because again, Cowherd, his biggest fan, won't even say he's making the NBA Finals now. So we know, you know, if he lost Cowherd's, you've lost. You lost. You lost America. Yeah, Cowherd is like Cowherd, Shannon Sharpe, and Nick Wright. Those guys are on on the wall of the LeBron James legacy garden. That's the problem. Exactly. The real issue is that LeBron James doesn't care. But he's getting on TV once again, trying to act like he's Mother Teresa. All I care about my teammates so much. I love my teammates so much. I'm gonna stick it out for this entire season. I'm gonna spend the last 30 games or so doing a bunch of silly handshakes and and high-fives with my teammates before the game to make it look like I care about them. And then when then when the season finally runs out, and we get knocked out of the playoffs in five games, I'm gonna have my guys, Rich, and and and whoever else is on my team, make sure that they put out enough propaganda to some of our plants in the media so that they can spin doctor it, and I could play the victim role when I head out to LA, which is a place that everybody know I was heading anyway, or maybe San Antonio or Houston. But I doubt it. LeBron needs to go somewhere where he can be a star, and the best place that he can go to be a star is LA. I don't particularly think that he can play for Popovich, but that would be his best chance of getting another championship. In regards to going to Houston, I don't, I don't, I don't believe that he's gonna be able to mesh well there because that team revolves a lot of around ball movement and long-range shooting, which are not his fortes. He needs to be at the center of everything. See, Chris Paul can actually play off the basketball. LeBron James can't. So I see him going to either the Clippers or the Lakers. But we'll see where he decides where he goes. And he decide. You guys bring you tell me where would he go? The Lakers. Yeah. Well, you know, even bring somebody else. Why go in the offseason? Go now. Why miss the playoffs? Tubby and beyond that, why will he go now? And Dan Gilbert was stipulate that the Lakers send Cleveland most of most of the assets they currently have. Another for the Laker to trade for LeBron, they would have to probably give up Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, and a couple of first-round draft picks. They're not gonna do that. I wouldn't even make sense. LeBron understands that as well. See, LeBron is not emotional and he's not as a two-dimensional thinker when it comes to business moves like a Carmelo Anthony. LeBron is willing to sit where he's at. He understands that he has really no chance of winning the NBA championship, so he's gonna play out the season and go to whatever team he wants to go to without them having to lose any assets. No, it's not for the Eagles for business. Once again, for those of you guys remember, I believe was back in 2010 or 2011, when it, whatever year it was, that Carmelo was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knicks. Instead of him just sitting out the season as usual, he made a bad business move, but most likely at the behest of his wife, who was controlling him at that time and probably wanted to get out of Denver and get to New York or LA, get to New York and try to help her quote unquote career, her acting career, but her number one acting job was acting like she was his wife. He was silly enough to listen to her and forced a trade as opposed to waiting into the offseason, and his career never been the same since. His career has never been right since then. Carmelo Anthony's has not. And really right now, when you look the Carmelo, he's on his way out of the league. You can also look, there's a million places you could go. Milwaukee, you could try and go to San Antonio and find a way with an expiring contract. It can be done. With Houston, to see what what that is like. You could go to the, you go to the Clippers and get in the playoffs and see if you like LA. But look, that the point is what Jason's saying. There's two ways to go here. Either you for Stan Gilbert to trade that number one, that top pick that you got from Brooklyn, right? And if you do so, you're gonna leave nothing except bad contracts, bad contracts behind. But if you get traded, Nelson, you're gonna leave. You're like, look, I left. They traded me, and I left them with their pick and with some other players in return. Let me just throw this out there. Well, look, I don't understand why this guy believed that LeBron James is concerned about how many pigs Cleveland has left. He wants Cleveland to trade the first round pick that they already have right now to bring us some help for him, quote unquote help. So this is why I state that I really have no problem with anyone involved because everyone involved is doing what's best for themselves and they're staying consistent to their character. Dan Gilbert has read the tea leaves. He knows that they're not gonna win any more championships. So why would I trade the assets that I have to help you, a man who is not going to be able to lead us to a championship, and the one championship that you did lead us to, you really shouldn't have won. Makes an interesting point. You go to Los Angeles. So if you're LeBron, and you're like, like, I'm gonna get clobbered either by Boston or Golden State. It's a bad luck, and maybe Toronto. Okay, so LeBron says, if I say trade me to LA, everybody's gonna give me a pass this year. So the rest of the area say, that was a hell, he made the Lakers. But nobody's gonna blame LeBron because they hate. You never know. Is LeBron? They may end up getting to like being the last season. Lakers are playing well. It's an interesting point, and it's, you know, it's not an interesting point. There's nothing interesting about it at all. It's pure speculation and conjecture that that is really just groundless and baseless because who would stand to win from that other than Cleveland? And why would LeBron want the Cleveland Cavaliers to win when he's already shown that he does not care? Once again, he does not care about Cleveland's draft picks. LeBron is in a win-now mold. He wants them to trade those picks. So why would he make a move to help them get draft picks? Once LeBron is out on the Cleveland Cavaliers, he's done with them, and he's done with Dan Gilbert. I don't understand why these guys can't see that. Contract rule. They still on the Lakers. That kind of tries this. So nobody to Doug's point, get rid of all those bad. Go to the Lakers. It's kind of almost it's kind of like a fun retirement. I'm still in the league. I get no heat. By the way, Boston wins the East. I look even more valuable. It's a good and play. Are we forgetting that Kyle Lowry got hurt in the playoffs last year? That Cats swept him. Kyrie Irving got hurt in the playoffs, I believe three years ago, with a pass. Things happen. I agree. I agree with that. I think that Jason McIntyre makes a good point. Kyrie has shown that he can be a bit injury-prone. As of right now, he seems to have an issue with his quad. He just came back from that injury. Kyrie plays a very frenetic stylist. Well, I call him the Barry Sanders of the NBA. Somebody in the comments corrected me and stated that he believes that Derrick Rose had a style more like a Barry Sanders, and I would agree. That's a better comparison in Kyrie. But seeing as Derrick Rose is nowhere near the player that he was, I will compare Kyrie, at least in regards to that style of movement, use a lot of jump cuts, a lot of those Euro steps. What he puts a lot of pressure on his knees, and I could see Kai Reed not being no to full capacity by the playoffs. I hope that I'm wrong, but you never know. And that would certainly open things up for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and they may not even need to have anything opened up because if they played their full capacity, they have the roster where they're supposed to be in the finals. Cleveland does. So that's what we're doing now. Cleveland Cavaliers super fans, LeBron James super friends, we're trying to get him to a place where there's no pressure on him. How ironic. For years, it was said that LeBron James does not respond well to pressure. Now is being revealed that many of his television sports analyst stupor fans, junkies, are exhibiting many of the same traits, trying to do anything to save his quote-unquote legacy. Give up on the Jordan thing. That's been gone since the Dallas Mavericks. Don't even worry about that right now. LeBron James is playing so that 20 years from now, he can know he can verify, he can prove without a shadow of a doubt that he was better than Larry Bird. Because as of right now, no, it's touch and go. It's not happening. As Jason say, it's not happening. Question is, is it a mistake to not have to shut down trade discussions? And I think it's a mistake to not at least offer up the positive, hey, let's see what's out there. Instead, now I'm gonna ride this thing out. This is gonna end poorly. We all know that. The Lakers, who have been among frontrunners, have been among frontrunners to land LeBron this offseason, but are now reportedly taking themselves out of the running, shifting their focus from this year's free agent class to next year's, which will feature like Clay Leonard and Klay Thompson. Willa, are you buying, Jason? The Lakers won't pursue LeBron this offseason. I'm buying the reports from Asian words and Aussie and Ramona's Shelbourne, two highly credible NBA reporters. So I'm buying the report. Can the Lakers change course and renege on whatever they set out? Yes, they can. Yes, they can't renege, and they will renege. This is a stratagem that is being put out by Magic Johnson as well as his general manager to try to take some attention away from the fact that they do want to bring LeBron in to act as a guru, as a teacher for the young studs, the young stallions they have on your team. I have no doubt about that. Magic is pretty much trying to create a provision against himself in his own big mouth by putting out this disinformation about how they don't want the Bron. Magic Johnson and LeBron are at mutual admirers of each other, and Magic would like nothing better than to be able to whoa LeBron back to the LA Lakers, and I think it would be a great move for LeBron because it would take a lot of pressure off of him. It would also provide him with many more resources and channels to promote and to to take to the next level many of his extracurricular businesses, many, many of the the corporations that he's trying to start outside of basketball. I think that it would certainly meet many of his demands on many levels for him to sign with the Lakers, but we'll see. I'm gonna get crucified for saviors. I think the Lakers are right now at this moment of like, you know what? You know, when LeBron guarantees at this point in his career, a headache with that. That's what he guarantees championships. No, he does not get. He's never guaranteed championships. Ding, thank you, sir. Hey, Whitlock, once again, he's like the Reggie Jackson of sports analysts. Either hits a home run or he strikes out. When he speaks the truth, he speaks the absolute truth. LeBron James has never guaranteed a championship. This nonsense that has been pushed forth by many of his more devoted acolytes, his more fervent followers, that the LeBron James takes you to the finals and he takes you to the championship. All this [ __ ] the man has won three championships, and 203 he shouldn't have won, but it is what it is. He has three, but by no means to see someone that you think of being synchronous with being a champion. He's one of a modern-day Wilt Chamberlain. Thank you, sir. Wilt Chamberlain had too many gifts and was a little bit off and hard to deal with. You know, I really do think that what luck watches my channel because I stated a few weeks ago on a video that sometimes you can have too many gifts for your own good. We'll never win as many championships as guys that are much more stable personality-wise. And so at 34, whatever it is, 15 years of the league, whatever he is, I think the makers are looking at see, I'm not sure if he's worth that trouble. He guarantees you a headache and some ticket sales, but championships, I'm not so sure. Uh, and I think that that may be a possibility, but I don't think that it's the probability. I think that most probably that is that this is disinformation that the Lakers are putting out to throw people off of the scent of what they and LeBron have most likely worked out already behind closed doors. Look, he did actually guarantee championships. Not one, not two, not three. Right? So he did actually guarantee championships. Whether he delivers on them, we dealt. He delivered headaches every year. Look, you and I do not agree on it, and I think that's that's what we're looking at here. If you look previously, LeBrons camp, okay, or what was coming out LeBrons camp and being leaked through Brian. We know where's another credible journal. Yeah, well, yeah, another credible journalist, but also another mouth peaceful LeBron James wise. Well, maybe look at Houston now. Maybe look at Golden State. Maybe look at Houston. And what it is, this is just a leverage place negotiating in the media because when the Bron wants, is the Bron wants his guys. LeBron wants his coach. LeBron wants his headaches. LeBron wants it his way. That's what makes it very interesting to see what's going to happen with Mr. Luke Walton at the end of the season, especially with the coach that was let go of the Memphis Grizzlies, David Fizdale. We know that he and LeBron have a history. So don't be surprised to see Luke Walton get let go and the Lakers hire David Fizdale. If that happens, you'll know that most likely LeBron James is heading to the LA Lakers because he certainly is not going to sit there and play for Luke Walton. We want you here, but we want you to join our organization, and that's why they're fighting this fight now. And it's not they like that's okay. We'll move on next year. We get Klay Thompson, younger, better, and maybe Kawhi Leonard, younger, better. Both are from LA. Both would die to be Lakers. Lavar Ball's already a massive. Now you had LeBron to it. That's good. I, I do question the timing of this report two days before the trade deadline. Okay. I talked about this on your show last week, three weeks ago. All Houston Rockets and LeBron. Last week, Golden State and LeBron. This week, Lakers, oh, we don't want LeBron. Okay. Something seems fishy. Who's planting all these stories? I think you're onto something, Doug. I do believe there's a LeBrons campus pushing off. Hello, I could have told you that. LeBron James's camp is planning mole city stories, and and that is part and parcel of how you create a cult of personality. You have to make sure that you have a good propaganda team. Just got fined today for tampering again. Okay. No, there was nothing ridiculous about it. Don't talk about another team's players. I don't care how much you're lauding them, whatever. But a week ago, I had somebody tell me Magic and LeBron talked. Well, if I heard it, somebody in New York has heard it. And look, and Magic's thinking, listen, I'm gonna call Woosh and Ramona, respected journalists, and I'm gonna tell him, no interest. We got to cool this crap off. I agree. Because he already had one tampering, the day got another. If word is out there, and people are saying like Magic and LeBron camps are talking, and it comes back to Magic, he may have just wanted to cool this puppy off. Yep. So bad except for Magic got fined for tampering for saying that he thinks Giannis is gonna put Milwaukee on the map in time. Though the first was pulling, I don't understand how that's tampering. You're saying that he's gonna be in Milwaukee and win a championship. It doesn't matter. It's not his place to speak on another team's asset. I don't, I don't understand why you guys can't get that. What? But you're right. But he was fine fifty grand. Is this just who would you call if you wanted to get word out? You come because again, the reporters that get played that easily are generally speaking a little bit lower on the totem pole. And so Woosh Janowski, see as season as they come. Ramona, very season again. And I'm not saying they're not capable being played or used by a source, but again, if I'm sitting there, who can I get this story out there with? Those aren't the guys I'm looking to. What? What? Well, no, those actually should be the people that you're looking to because those are the most reputable journalists. Why would you want to try to filter out this information through some through some form of a lackey, someone that no one is going to trust? You certainly want to go to the top-notch people. What? What would has really hurt the LeBron negotiations that have yet to take place? The idea was bring Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, it because he's wrapped by Rich Paul. We'll overpay him, okay, for a year, keep that cap space, and then we're gonna use that to get two stars. In the Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, things been disastrous. He was out of shape. He had a DL 26 days. He was actually sleeping in a detention facility. I mean, working for the LA Lakers with one of those things on his ankle, okay? And he is not a particularly great guy in the locker room. No, I could see that. He's one of the guys who most likely is given Lonzo Ball a problem. They definitely have to clean house in that locker room. Magic is gonna have to spend more time worrying about the players in the Los Angeles Laker locker room than he does many of these other players around the lake. Between a former agent who's running the Lakers and a current agent for LeBron, and so like LeBron brings headaches. He wants his coach, and this is the Lakers going like, hey, you want to come here? Cool. You're gonna do it our way. You're gonna be a Laker, otherwise, we don't want another our pools like contract, an aging superstar, and we get the back end of the deal.
