We are sharing this morning on three universal laws that can make a lot of difference in your life. Please open with me to Luke chapter 6, verse 38. I refresh from the amplified bible classic edition. He said, "It's give and gifts will be given to you, good measure, press down, shaking together, running over, with the pour into the pouch formed by the bottom of your roof and used as a bag. For with the measure you deal out, with the measure you use when you confirm benefits on others, it will be measured back to you."
A powerful law, a powerful principle. [Music] That consistently manifests on the surface of this earth. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated. And those, whatever manner you have treated people, the people you have related with are not the ones that will fulfill the second part of that position. That as they put across that law, that principle, their spiritual influences that bring the consequences, the rewards, the effect of our actions to pass later and afterwards. If you are the type that loves to give people, you know, the best, God is going to influence circumstances and life to give you back to treat you that way in return. And the people that would now begin to give you the best may not even be aware that this is exactly the same way you usually treat people.
So, coming, there are actually 12 generally accepted universal laws. And you must understand that understanding the 12 universal laws will change the way you live your life. Sometimes the awareness alone, the awareness, the knowledge, the understanding and awareness of the details of these 12 spiritual laws will cause a shift that will influence the outcomes that you have long been praying for, craving for. Understanding of these universal laws will help you live with greater intention and purpose.
One very, very principal law out of the 12, and one very principal insight out of the 12, is the law of action. And that one principal insight at the end of it all that you must have in mind is that the universe responds to intentional action. Intentional action. Intentional action. So, going forward in life, you must identify certain things that are the right things to do, the necessary things to do, the strategic things to do. And then you must intentionally do them. You must intentionally act in that manner. You must intentionally treat people in that fashion. And we can only take intentional action when we have clarity around what we want, where we want to go, and who we want to become. When we have clarity of intent, we can truly set ourselves on the path to greatness. And I'm privileged this morning to be speaking to certain people that have been destined for greatness. [Applause]
Now, the 12 universal laws are: One, the law of divine oneness. Number two, the law of vibration. The law of vibration. Number three, the law of action. The law of action. Number four, the law of correspondence. The law of correspondence. And number five is the law of cause and effect. Cause and effect. Number six, the law of compensation. The law of compensation. Number seven, the law of attraction. The law of attraction. Number eight is the law of perpetual transplantation of energy. Law of perpetual transmutation of energy. And number nine is a law of relativity. The law of relativity. Number 10 is a law of polarity. The law of polarity. 11, the law of reading. The law of reading. And 12, the law of gender and gestation.
Now, we are focusing on three out of these 12 universal laws. First, we will look at the law of cause and effect. Then we'll take a look at the law of compensation. And finally, we look at the law of action.
So, what is the law of cause and effect all about? According to the law of cause and effect, nothing is by chance or coincidence. I want you to have a clear understanding that this is in the in the light of something always influencing whatever happens to happen. There is always a force. There is always an influence. Sometimes it could even be the forces of nature. Sometimes it could be human instruments. Sometimes it could be divine influence, and which could be by the power of the spirit. Sometimes it could be angelic, angelic interventions and operations. And then from the dark kingdom, sometimes it could be demonic forces, demanding different dimensions of demonic powers and forces. So, it could be some spiritual force, some spiritual influence that made that thing to happen. Sometimes it could be a human vessel that may never be even discovered that has secretly done that thing or made that thing to happen. And then sometimes it could just be the forces of nature at work making that thing to happen.
Matthew 7, verse 1 to 2. Matthew 7, verse 1 to 2. And in the new living translation, it says, "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged, for you will be treated as you treat others." The law of cause and effect is what is it's what equals what is generally known as a law of karma. It is also a classic example of the saying that what goes around comes around. What goes around comes around. Or you reap what you sow. You reap what you sow. All of these are related to the law of cause and effect. You can, for instance, plant a mango tree and expect to reap apples. You'll reap exactly what you sow.
And then Matthew 5, 7. Matthew 5, 7. Contemporary English version, it says, "God blesses those people who are merciful. They will be treated with mercy. They will be treated with mercy." This law, in summary, relates to us taking full responsibility and accountability for our lives. Understanding that every has an equal consequence. Every action has an equal consequence. Understanding that what we sow is what we will eventually reap. Is what will eventually reap. Therefore, we are responsible for everything that happens in our lives, energetically, subconsciously, and intentionally, through our actions, through our words, through our words.
In Proverbs 18, verse 21. Proverbs 18, 21. Good news translation, good news translation. He says, "What you say, what you say can preserve life. Death and life are in the power of your words." Then the power of your tongue. What you say can preserve life or destroy it. So, you must accept the consequences of your words.
In Proverbs 12, 14. Proverbs 12, 14. Contemporary English version, it says, "We are rewarded or punished for what we say and do. We are rewarded or punished for what we see or what we do." So, this law can work for you. Simply if you study, very important, if you study the actions of those who have achieved what you want to achieve. For instance, if you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you can study a very successful entrepreneur as well. And five things you can watch out for, learn. But you learn from the books they read. Find out and learn from the books they read. Two, observe their daily habits. Their daily habits. Three, find out how they run their business. How do they run their business? Four, find out how they relate with people, especially their customers. And then number five, find, you know, you need to find out their values and learn from their values. So, following the law of cause and effect, you can emulate successful people and achieve a significant measure of the same success God helped them to achieve.
And number two is the law of compensation. The law of compensation. The law of compensation is an extension of the law of cause and effect. The law of compensation explains that what you give is what you get back. What you give is what you get back. The law states that one shall always be compensated. Another word for that is what? Rewarded. Another word for that is paid back. One shall always be compensated for the efforts and for the contribution, whatever it may be. However much or however little, you will always receive some compensation for your efforts, whether good or bad. So, for example, if you are kind, you will receive kindness or better things in return. That exact time of your compensation, your reward will differ with different people, but it will surely come. So, if you are kind, you will receive kindness. You will receive better things in return. It may not come from the people you showed kindness to. This is what makes it mysterious and supernatural. It may not, it's not even, you should not even expect that that it will come. It must come from the people you showed kindness to.
Proverbs 11, 17. Proverbs 11, 17. Amplified Bible Classic Edition, it says, "The merciful, kind, and generous man, are you that kind of person? The merciful, kind, and generous man or woman benefits himself, for his deeds return to bless him." These things are in scriptures. [Music] His deeds return to bless him. When it begins to happen later, people will say, people who have always known you, who say, "You see the good things he had done, she had done so many people in the past. It is what is happening to him now." And the next new year, one common expression, people will now say, "God is faithful. God is faithful." Because they have seen, you know, someone being properly rewarded for the good seeds that were sown in the past. He says, "The merciful, kind, and generous man benefits himself, for his deeds return to blessing. But he who is cruel and callous to the ones of others brings on himself retribution." You can now understand why those who give and know me mostly still reap the reward. You can now understand why people who do good secretly still reap the reward. So, anything you are doing secretly, anything you are doing secretly that is good, please keep it up because it's God that is going to influence, you know, circumstances to ensure that that good thing you have been doing secretly is rewarded positively in the process of time. It's God that has the responsibility. It's Matthew 7, verse 2. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.
The law of compensation, the law of compensation now will determine the quality, the quantity of the consequences, the reward, all the repercussions that will come. Proverbs 11, 31. Proverbs 11, 31. It says, "A good news translation, it says, 'Those who are good are rewarded here on earth.'" Is in the Bible. It's not only when we get to heaven. It's not only from the judgment seat of Christ after the rapture. That is a moment of reward. But the Bible tells us that there is a dimension of reward that comes here on earth. So, you can be sure that wicked and sinful people will be punished. Wicked and sinful people will be punished.
Second Corinthians chapter 9, verse 6. Second Corinthians 9, verse 6. Amplified Bible Classic Edition, he said, "Remember this: He who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly." He's a spiritual law. And he also generously, that blessings may come to someone, will also reap generously with and with blessings. So, what is your job? Your job is to start acting in ways that are likely to bring the results you desire. Start taking intentional actions that are likely to bring the results you desire. When you do this, you will subsequently attract the rewards for your work.
And so, the third and the last one is a law of action. The law of action. It takes that you have to take action towards your desires if you want to see their physical manifestation. This law helps you to realize that if you are to succeed, you will need to take action. The law of action is what is required to transform your thoughts and desires into physical reality. The law states that you must do some effective things, not just doing, taking action, but effective and strategic methods and approach to different things we desire to achieve. The law states that you must take certain necessary actions in order to achieve whatever you want to achieve. And unless you take effective and necessary actions that are in harmony with your dreams and desires, you will not, you may not see results as time passes.
Proverbs 22, verse 3. It says, "Good news translation, it says, 'Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it. But an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later.'" The law of action. Proverbs 20, verse 4. Proverbs 20, verse 4. Easy to read version, he says, "Some people are too lazy to plant seeds, too lazy. So at harvest time, subsequently, now, what will happen? They look for food and find nothing." They love action. They love action. Just thinking about something and talking about it is different from actually following through with it.
So, what must you do going forward? You have to take inspired, actionable steps towards what you want. Even when the step is small, it still has, it still has a positive effect, and it's better than doing nothing. And take note of this: If you have already done a very sound appraisal, brainstorming, research, consultation, and then you have found out what is best to do. Now, if you take steps, you take action, and you fail, the fact that that the action you took was based on a well-researched and thought-out, you know, consideration, you didn't just act anyhow, but you took the most informed decision. Now, if you take the best and the most informed decision and you fail, you're on the right path. You're on the right path. And if you are persistent, your success will eventually show up.
And I see there's an advantage that comes with these laws. Let me tell you this now, as we're closing. There is, there is a reward for hard work. It's in the scriptures, all over the scriptures. There is a reward for hard work. When you put in serious efforts and then wisely, you ensure that you are acting intelligently, not just putting in effort, but you are taking the most intelligent, you know, step to achieve that thing. There is a reward, a grace that will come from God to honor the intelligent and determined efforts you have made. [Music]
