This guy Dylan is a loser. Like, you’re not an athlete. I’m sorry. And so and then once, once like I saw that people were like trolling me and, “Oh, you’re next,” and “You’re next.” That doesn’t bother me, you know, like I’ve already had my reputation.
Yeah, you’ve had your time in the barrel, right?
Yeah. This is like, you know, I’m a free fighter first. You can’t cancel me again [ __ ].
Yeah, exactly. All right, so I’m here to talk about this crazy Dylan Danis, Logan Paul feud. It’s become a Dylan Dennis versus seems like Nina Agdal feud actually. And so my guest here, she basically got into a kind of a war of words with Dylan. So I want to read what you posted about all of this, and then I’m going to ask you what is up with this? What’s going on?
I don’t follow MMA. I didn’t even know who Dylan Danis was, no offense to him. I don’t want to go on his bad side because, man, he gets ruthless online if you’re on his uh, bad side. But uh, okay. But this was—I was going through your your tweets and I saw this one, and I saw that it had gotten 5 million views, and I’m like, “What the wow.” And so this was her tweet. You say, “Happy Logan. I’m happy Logan and Nina Agdal found love. What’s wrong with this guy Dylan Danis trashing Logan’s fiance—that’s Nina—for clout? It’s misogynistic and gross. I don’t know anything about Nina except she was my boyfriend’s celeb crush. But yeah, Dylan’s behavior is despicable. Sad what people will do for attention these days.” And then you got all these replies, a number of people liking it, number people agreeing with you, but some Dylan Danis fans who seemed uh, pretty pissed off. And then Dylan Danis actually retweeted you, right, or retweeted one of your replies, and then it got like—so what’s going on? Okay, tweeted it with with that uh, with that The Rock meme where he’s like, “Shut up [ __ ]” or whatever, like that’s—he quote-tweeted it with that meme. Oh, and then that’s when everybody saw that post. And then so that’s like kind of where it started, and then he was tweeting at me a couple other times. But yeah, so I think where this started is that well, recently, if you have Netflix, one of the top things that was featured on Netflix was Jake Paul and sort of how he got into the whole boxing game, and it talked about Logan as well. And I thought that mainly Jake was the one focusing on boxing, but looks like now Logan is as well. And so, you know, I—a little bit of history about me—I used to live in LA. I used to live right basically in the same apartment complex as all these like famous YouTubers and Instagrammers at the time. I think it was in like 2017. And so that was around the time—it was crazy because I saw Logan at a really high point where he was doing those Dunkin’ Donut ads, and he was basically the biggest person on Vine, which was like a short-form TikTok-like app. And anyway, then I saw his—I saw his rise, and then I saw him fall when that whole suicide forest thing happened. And so anyway, um, I—and I saw him go back when he started his um, podcast. So I’ve known him—I—I, you know, I think he’s made a lot of mistakes, but who hasn’t made mistakes? I mean, I think that uh—so when I saw him that he got engaged, I was really happy for him, and I just watched the video about it, and I hadn’t talked to Logan or any of his people in a while um, but I sent him a text, and I was like, “You know, happy um, to hear you know you’re with uh, or that you found love,” and uh, he didn’t respond to me. I haven’t talked to him in a long time, so that was like the only—so then I brought up to my boyfriend, I’m like, “Oh, how cute that Logan is engaged,” and he’s like, “Oh, that’s Nina,” and I said, “Oh, who’s she?” “Oh, she was beautiful. Sports Illustrated,” and she was like, “You know, my crush when I was younger.” I’m like, “How old is this girl?” because my boyfriend’s not that old. So anyway, that’s the only thing I knew about Logan. And sometimes I watch his podcast. So anyway, fast forward to yesterday, because a lot of people knew like I’m very good friends with Logan’s uh, videographer, the German uh, David, and he lived—I’ve let him crash on my couch for several months when we were in LA. And so I—I kind of know that circle. And uh, somebody said, “Hey, did you see what’s happening with Logan and Dylan?” And I went on his feed, and I just saw like—first I saw like a bunch of memes of like the hot dog meme where the girl’s eating all the hot dogs, and then like I went, you know, and whatever, it’s the internet, I guess. The memes were—I mean, I don’t know anything about any of this except that I went—when I saw the year exchange with him, then I went to check out his page, and like the memes are—and I mean, it’s in a negative way, but the memes are like kind of jaw-dropping. Like I was actually sitting there just looking through his Twitter, and I must have had my mouth open. I’m just like—because because my guy was like, “What’s wrong?” and I’m just like, “I cannot believe some of the stuff that he’s posting.” Yeah, and I mean like—so you know, I think it triggered me, I guess, because I’ve been in a situation where my reputation was attacked, and it’s the worst feeling, especially when seemingly this girl has a good reputation. She’s a Sports Illustrated, you know, model. I don’t like—I said I don’t know much about her, except that I also know how hard it is to find love, and then finding love in Hollywood, that’s even harder. So I really felt for her because I’m like, “Okay, these people are attacking her. I get that they’re promoting a fight, but she’s not making the bag. It’s not her fight.” And right, and she literally got engaged like a cup—like three weeks ago I want to say, or like within the last month or so. So it’s like imagine just any human being, especially women, like you get engaged one time in your life, hopefully, right, and you get married one time. And so now what does she have to remember that like beautiful moment in somebody’s like real life? Like these are real people’s—they’re not actors or on a reality show, whatever. I get that she understands who her fiance is, but at the same time like—so he starts posting, I guess, pictures of her ex-boyfriends. Well, I just—and I wanted to say for our audience who’s going to wonder what are they talking about? I mean, I think—I think the main issue that you and I probably have with this is that basically more or less he’s calling her a [ __ ]. I don’t agree with that—that term, that idea, whatever, right? But that’s—it’s very like directed at sort of this old-fashioned critique of women. And I noticed too that a number of the pictures he’s posting, they’re just guys that apparently she was just standing next to. I’m sure there’s some boyfriends on there too, but guys that she’s standing next to at events. Some of them are superimposed, and it’s just like, “Man, you know, go ahead.”
I’m sorry.
Yeah. No, no, I—so yeah, exactly. It’s just—I mean, listen, I’m now like—like hardcore feminists.
Yeah, neither of us.
Yeah, I’m just somebody who’s like—I feel empathy for that person regardless of if people are saying it’s a fight—like that’s some—that’s a human being who like didn’t deserve it. And it’s—it’s one thing if he’s—one thing I thought that was really funny that where he made fun of Logan was that um, he was trash-talking and all this stuff, and then Logan comes out with the video and says, “You know, I’ll bet you a million dollars” or something about the fight, and then Dylan comes back, and he’s like, “Don’t you open—like you’re gonna use that million dollars to bet me instead of paying people that you scammed on your, you know,” and I’m like, “That’s funny.”
Appropriate. That’s appropriate.
Yeah, yeah. Totally fair game, right? To go after Nina like that’s just wrong. And one thing that kind of, you know, it kind of made me feel a lot of more empathy for her that you see a clip of Logan and her on a podcast, and Logan’s basically talking about one of the big things that mattered in their relationship was that like they didn’t hook up right away, and that—and so you know that this is something that she’s thought about, you know, that it’s important to her. It was important in part of their relationship, and now that is just like totally getting exploited in this like really dirty way. And I just like—I don’t know—I just fell for her as a human being. Like I didn’t care about being cool online. I wasn’t posting it. I really didn’t even know that many people were watching this saga um, but then I thought it was really funny because all of Dylan’s fans start like mansplaining to me about boxing. And what people don’t understand is that I worked for Canelo, which is like one of the best boxers of the goat. He’s a Mexican um, from Guadalajara uh, boxer, and I worked with him during the Triple G fight, managing and helping strategy with the social media. I watched Canelo wake up at 4 a.m. every morning—is when he started his run—um, running miles, then coming back, eating so clean—like all his friends were eating tacos and all this stuff—and then going in training like a maniac and then getting into a tub of ice-cold water and like doing it over and over and over again. And he didn’t have time to be on Twitter all day long like this guy Dylan is a loser.
Yeah. This is like, you know, I’m—I’m a free fighter. You can’t cancel me again [ __ ].
Yeah, exactly. So um, and then I—and then I—I thought it was funny because I was telling my boyfriend, I’m like, “I want to get monetized on Twitter because I think you’re on X because I think there’s so many cool things you could do with the new platform. I used to represent people on TikTok when it was exploding, so I know when there’s a new platform, the opportunity is the biggest.” And so this is before I was, you know, even talking about the Logan thing. And so uh, he’s like, “But don’t you have to like fight with people all day on, you know, on X? You could like be making other content, inspiring things.” And then, of course, the one thing that I post like is a fight—is a huge fight. I was like, “Well, thanks for all the comments, you know, you’re—you’re helping me get monetized.” And then Elon quote-tweeted me, and he’s like, “Oh, you’re going to need it for all the therapy.” “Oh, good one, bro.” Pretty weak one actually. I know that was one of the weaker ones on his uh, on his page. I think—well, you know, I think I think it’s great that uh, that you stood up for what you believe on that. And you know, Ari, you’re familiar with my show. Most of the time I spend my time on this show critiquing the excesses of feminism and I, you know, and me too. And so I’m not the kind of person generally to come on my show and say this, you know, especially when it’s a—when we get into a freedom of speech issue. Like I’m not even saying perhaps that he shouldn’t be able to say this on the platform. I’m just saying that it is—it is mean-spirited. It is unnecessary, and I think it’s unethical. What—what Dylan Dennis—he’s a civilian. She’s a civilian. She’s not in this boxing thing. And I think, you know, I’m not an attorney, but he’s going to get himself in trouble because I don’t know—could this be like defamation by implication because all these people are not—she’s—are not people that she was sleeping with. It’s literally pictures on the internet, and he’s not posting anything—whatever. I’m not an attorney. I—I do think though that when you like poke the bear when it comes to legal matters, and you’re just not doing the right thing, eventually it’s going to catch up to you um, but I do think he—he made one big misstep. And I was uh, watching the Full Send podcast, and you know, it is kind of funny as somebody that kind of studies the internet and what these people do—like he is sort of doing what these—what is like cool on the internet these days, or people find trends of just like despicable things, and if it gets views, they start to do it. And um, but anyway, he—he did say on the Full Send podcast that uh, he said something like, “Well, she might be um uh—” Oh, I was really proud of Logan because, you know, I’m like a big supporter of like LGBTQ+. I thought, you know, at first he was dating a trans person, or I forget what he—a trans—and then so he fake-panders to LGBTQ+ sarcastically to call her a man. And I think that’s where he’s going to get in trouble because yeah, you don’t want to cross those lines today. So the Zone um, is—I believe they’re the people hosting the the pay-per-view uh, and the Zone, you know, their CEO is—I believe you guys can call me if I’m wrong—I believe it’s Kevin Mayer. He was previously the uh—I don’t know if he was—I don’t think he was the CEO of Disney, but he was like a high uh, up executive at Disney, and then he was the CEO of TikTok. Do you—are you telling me that the uh, advertisers are going to be, you know, for—for somebody that’s running a company like the Zone um, that the advertisers are going to be cool with the whole like trans—now debate in there, or like when you—I think Love Is Blind um, when there was some type of issue with the trans situation, like they didn’t even let the girl come on the show for the reunion because they didn’t want to—they wanted to control—they didn’t want her talking about, you know, what I’m saying?
Right. Right. What do you want? This is like a no-no for advertisers. Whatever it is—like politics—that word—so they don’t like controversy.
Yeah, not that kind of controversy, right? And and also probably not like slut-shaming controversy, right? When you look at people—I think I saw Monica Lewinsky tweeting yesterday like asking Elon Musk not to um, you know, get away with the unblock or the block feature. And it’s like—I think this is like a modern-day, you know, Monica Lewinsky type of situation where she had to endure all that, you know, um, bullying basically on the internet. And and in this case, Nina didn’t even do anything.
Yeah, that’s—I mean, to me, and I’ve seen the arguments that people have made about uh, you know, free speech and and Dylan uh, Dylan was even—it seems like basically daring Elon Musk to—to pull him off uh, Twitter, right? Um, but uh—and I, you know, like I said, I’m a proponent—a hardcore proponent of free speech—but uh, but it’s these types of cases—this kind of reminds me of the Kanye thing—how I felt with the Kanye thing a while back too, of like where—yeah, in principle, I think pretty much people should be able to say whatever—promote their ideas, whatever—on these platforms. And then I read something like what uh, Dylan is doing to Nina Agdal, and I’m just like, “Oh, oh,” you know. Yeah, I—I think just like in a broader sense, it’s just sad that—that’s what—like that’s what young kids look at—that is cool. And it’s funny because they’re even bringing in other people like um, what’s his name? Well, they—seems like they’re bringing in every single guy she’s ever stood next to at an event.
Yeah. Oh yeah, exactly. No, and it’s like—but aside from that, it’s like also they’re—they’re saying like uh, what’s that guy that—oh, Andrew Tate—like it’s like bringing in Andrew Tate. It’s like entertainment has nothing to do with it, but he didn’t say like—right. It’s just so funny because it’s all these guys that probably aren’t getting any, you know, at home on their computers like, “Oh yeah, this is so cool,” and like—it’s not that cool. And I don’t know—I mean, I wonder if in, you know, several years—maybe 10 years—people are going to look back and be like, “That was really cringe that I did that, and I like ruined someone’s special moment in their life—like for what?” You know? And I don’t think that this Dylan guy is going to be remembered for much. I hope he loses, and that, you know, but I don’t think he cares. I really don’t think he cares. I think this guy has nothing else really going on for him. Like it’s so funny to watch—go watch the Full Send podcast because he’s just like—it’s so cringe. She’ll be like, “Yeah, but you think I’m a better, you know, uh, I’m a better, you know, [ __ ] talker than this person,” right? Like, “Oh, I—I saw Keemstar tweeted that he thinks I’m a better [ __ ].” He’s like, “Bro, like did somebody not hug you when you were a child?” Well, you know, and probably in a really shrewd way, and of course you understand this in your profession uh, there’s a certain calculus to this of like, “I just want to get people watching and interested in this.” And so you know there was a part of me when I was looking down his Twitter page and very appalled with my mouth open, you know, like uh, there was a part of me though that was like, “Well, you know, this is pretty shrewd because I don’t know anything about MMA. The literally the only thing that I knew about MMA was Conor McGregor, and that is it.” And so now I’m like—“Was Dylan guy—what’s going on here?” and everything, right? He’s really good MMA guy, but he’s not a boxer, and it’s pretty different from what I understand.
Oh, okay. He’s been boxing Logan unless the fight gets—well, I doubt Logan would pull the fight now. I don’t know um, like I said, I haven’t talked to him or his team, but um, I think there’s two things right now that—that—that’s like really hot in—in attention-getting on the internet. And listen, like we’re content creators. I think there’s a difference between, you know, being an influencer online because you want to make an impact uh, you want to influence thoughts and, you know, discuss important things and I don’t know—change somebody’s mind maybe—but like this is just—it’s literally like polluting the ocean of thoughts. And um, there’s two things I think people are using as strategies right now. One, it’s like the super victim—claiming to be a super victim. I saw—I was watching this girl with blue hair—gosh, I wish I—I remember her name.
Oh yeah, we’re very familiar on my channel with super victims.
Yes. Yes. So she was talking about like there’s uh, the whole thing with Colleen Ballinger, and there’s like literally like one guy that, you know, seemingly has stories—true—but then another guy who just like jumped on the train and like accused uh, Colleen’s husband of doing something when he didn’t do anything. And he was like, “Well, if you believe that guy’s story, you have to believe mine.” And—and so—so a lot of people do that—they’re the victims. And so I kind of get why some of Dylan’s fans are like annoyed with me, and they’re like, “Yeah, yeah,” like screaming misogyny because I get it—that’s too many people cried wolf, and now when there’s real—
Exactly. No, it’s exactly true. Exactly true. And I would—and what I would say to those—to those guys uh, some of them who took issue with you using the word misogyny is—this is the reason actually why people went overboard with feminism stuff is because actually there is stuff that is inappropriate—immoral—we don’t want anymore. It’s this kind of old-fashioned—yes—slut-shaming. And I’m not calling her that, right? Because again, a lot of this is fabricated—what we’re seeing on Dylan’s page—but I’m just saying that’s what’s going on here. And like—guys—people, if you don’t like the feminist BS that I don’t like either, and then I talk about a lot of my show—the excesses of feminism—then don’t engage in this kind of behavior because it’s a turnoff. I mean, everybody knows it’s wrong, right? Everybody doing it—saying, “Oh, he’s not posting things.” It’s like—everybody knows it’s wrong. You know it’s wrong, whatever. But—and especially like the memes of like all the guys in a line to like hook up with one girl—I mean, that’s just—it’s just so low. Oh, I don’t even want to say like they’re—I mean, people who—I don’t want to send people to the page to look at it, but we know that’s what’s going to happen. But there’s—there’s some truly just disgusting memes there. So yeah. And so yeah, so those are the two things—you can either be a super villain or you can be a super victim. And I guess like nobody can be creative enough to come up with—get out of that box—to entertain people. But um, yeah—well, lessons in uh, in social media 101, I guess. But what—not—that’s all I would say. That’s fascinating. And get that monetized on Twitter, says Dylan. Yeah, in these social media wars, there’s always a benefit to getting negative PR, right? Or to getting uh—whenever I got that idea, I saw my lawyer actually—she posted—she’s like, “I’m going to turn on this monetization thing so that when people are, you know, trash-talking me, I can—I can actually make some money for—for her hobbies.” So same—same thing um, but it was like a very interesting case study of what works on the internet, right?
Right. Well, it’s fascinating. I’m going to keep an eye on it as it plays out, and uh, yeah, crazy stuff. Now, do you have a YouTube channel or anything that you would like me to direct people to?
Uh, sure. I mean, while I’m—I’m mostly creating—tell us who you are—tell people what you do. I don’t—I’m—I’m trying to figure it out. I got canceled uh, by the New York Times and a reporter like Taylor Lorenz.
Yeah, can I say that? I can cut that out.
Yeah, I know, it’s fine. I have a lawsuit against uh, Taylor Lorenz of the New York Times um, as of now it’s moving forward, which is like a huge um, accomplishment in that, but I don’t want to talk about it anymore. I’m trying to like re-vamp my life and, you know, try to take some of those skills that I learned working with like some of the biggest TikTok stars in the world and YouTubers and all those types of people um, and build my own channels. So I have on Twitter—I’m Little Miss Jacob. I think I’m Little Miss Jacob on everything. I’m uh—people can Google you—it’s Ariana Jacob. And uh—and yeah, you—she—she did some amazing things, then she got canceled, and now she’s coming back, and I think even better things are ahead of you. So yeah.
Yeah. So now I mostly um, post about the media and how like the media works in Hollywood and social media, my ADHD, and um, I actually have an Amazon page that I’m like really creating a lot of content on. I’ll have to tell you about it offline sometime. It’s really fun um, yeah. So—so yeah, but if you go on like any of my—my pages, you can see all my links and stuff, but um, I post like ADHD hacks for organization and stuff because I’m a hot mess, but oh well, there’s a huge market for that. So uh, so also I’ll put your—and you can send me your links. I’ll post them below. Everybody check out uh, links below, and we’ll have you on again because I—I do want to talk about some other things, but uh, but yeah, just had to react to it—to this craziness we’re having.
Yeah, it was fun talking to you. I wanted to talk about it, but I’m like—I want to be one of those podcasters that podcast to themselves.
Yeah, yeah. I know. I’m so glad you came on because it’s fascinating. I don’t know anything.
About it, but I was just like, "What?" So anyway, all right.
Well, uh, Nina and uh, and uh, is it Logan? Right, Logan? Yeah. Me and Logan, if you're watching, you know, I don't really even know who you are, but I feel for you. And just uh, Shake It Off. Move On. Yeah. And uh, I'll be looking at that fight though. Yeah, I know. I know. I I was like, "I think I might have to go in that way." It was effective, so I don't know. Maybe Dylan is smarter than all of us.
Okay, everybody, on that note, we'll see you later. Bye-bye. Thank you. [Music]
