Hi everyone, it's Nick. Welcome or welcome back to my channel.
Okay, in this video today, we are going to be talking about my favorite Amazon home products that I actually own, stuff I actually buy. Okay, not theoretical stuff, but things I buy and love every single day. Now, I have a love-hate relationship with Amazon because it's a lot of like weird drop-ship tee-like stuff that I don't actually buy and really enjoy. And there's a lot of challenges with them as a company. So, I know people have mixed feelings, but I'm a man of the people and I got to get the people what they want. And the last time I did one of these videos was like two years ago, back in 2024. And it had, I would just, it has like 350-something thousand views or something. So clearly some of you all are shopping on Amazon and you're interested in what I have to say. A lot of this stuff is very basic, practical stuff that I actually use. So, you know, a lot of it's not super sexy, but that's the stuff I buy on Amazon. Sorry. It just is what it is. Okay. So with that in mind, disclaimers out of the way. Let's get going.
So as the weather changes and gets a little bit warmer, warmer, you're going to see me in less cashmere, uh, long sleeves and we're heading into summer. And here's the thing, I love summer as much as the next guy, but I do find that keeping your space nice and beautiful and cool while at the same time, like, not having, you know, hideous, ugly things in your home, um, can be a little bit of a challenge. And that is why Drio has come out with their Turbo Cool Misting Fan series. They've sent me their Hero model, which is the 765S, which is really perfect for larger sort of shared areas. So, if you have like an open-concept home or something, that's probably like the perfect application for this. So, it combines powerful turbo wind airflow with an ultra-fine mist to lower the room temperatures by up to 10°F. And before you panic about your hardwood floors, your expensive furniture, don't. The mist is completely mess-free. It leaves absolutely no drips or water marks or anything. It's incredibly low maintenance, which I absolutely love. And there are no extra costs for replacement filters or pumps down the line. I honestly hate that when like they sell you on the fan, but then you owe a bunch of extra money. Like, who wants that? The 765S has a massive six-liter tank that keeps the room cool for up to seven hours on turbo or 24 hours on the low setting, which I think for me is like perfect in a nice bedroom. It's like as you're going to bed because I like sleeping in a cool room, personally. Some of you weirdos might like a warm room, but that's not me. It also has hyper-silent technology and BLC motors that keep it whisper-quiet, as low as about 20 dB. It doesn't distract me when I'm working from home, watching TV, or sleeping, as I said, in the bedroom. And it also has support for, I'm not going to say the name, but Miss A and Miss G. So you can like control it, uh, because then it'll just set all yours off. Uh, and then you can control it with your voice, which is super convenient. They've actually just launched this. Okay, first of all is my new scented candle. Now, I'm going to stop you right away. I know the anti-scented candle people are right there. They're like clutching their pearls. They're ready to tippity-tappity in the in the comment section. But here's the thing is that, uh, you just don't have to do it. You know, you know it's forcing you to buy a candle. So, it might not be for you. Some of you don't like scented candles, in which case, go ahead and bake some cookies, you know, like a realtor, and, uh, make your house smell nice that way. Or don't. That's up to you. But this candle is actually my new favorite. I, this is a santal scented candle. I love this fragrance for me because it's like a little floral but a little woodsy. And that's kind of what I want. I don't want too floral because then I don't, I don't really like it. I don't know how to describe how I don't like scents except for I don't like it. It's too floral. But I like woodsy because it just gives it a nice little base. And this one is really nice. And plus, I'm a sucker for a beautiful jar. Isn't this really why we're buying candles? Like, is this honestly, like, I think we need to just, it's like coffee table books, which I am launching a coffee table book coming soon. Coming soon. Details coming in a couple months. I, are we really buying them for their content? Are we buying it for the candle, or are we just buying it because it looks nice? And this one, I just, this one looks nice. It's a good font. It's a good piece of glass and it's a good label. Like, it's a craft label. It's, but it's not rustic because, you know, I hate that. Anyway, love the look of a candle and I love the scent of this one. I just, it's a beautiful candle and it smells really nice. They have a whole bunch of scents. They come in small ones. I just bought the large one because that's what I used. I bought one before. This is my repurchase. And, uh, you can buy the small one. You can also buy mix packs. This one's nice. I like this one. This is my new favorite. I do like sandalwood just in that world. I do like that scent a lot. So, if I see it on places like Amazon, I do impulse buy them a lot.
Okay, next up is going to be my vertical laptop stand in walnut. So, this sits on your desk and props up your laptop, hence why it is called a vertical laptop stand. It just keeps your cord management out of the way. It props up your laptop so it takes up a lot less space because I find when it's sitting on the, I had it on the desk for a while just flat laying there and it just was taking up too much space because you can't really put anything on the laptop. But a vertical stand allows you to access the ports easier and, uh, props it up so it's all nice and happy. And I bought this one because there were a lot of ones out there that were like hexagonal shaped. And then there were ones that were, I don't know. I didn't like the look of them. I like this one because it was curved because I like the curves. And that was really, that was really fun. And it's honestly, I was actually really impressed when I got it. I was expecting to be like, this might be a miss and I'm going to have to send it back. I was not going to lie to you. But I actually was really impressed with the quality of it. It's got the little foamy gripper at the bottom so it doesn't damage your laptop. But I really like the curved sort of walnut look to this one. And then it's got that sort of metal base on the bottom. It's really nice. It sits on top of my walnut desk, my walnut standing desk. So it all matches beautifully because, you know, I'm all about that. So if you don't have a vertical laptop stand, maybe check this one out, or, or not. That's fine, too.
Okay, next up on my list, this is an oldie and a goodie. Sometimes I repeat on my Amazon videos and so, but you guys aren't memorizing my videos. If you are, then that's a little nutty. I don't even remember what I say in these videos. You definitely should not. This one is an oldie but a goodie. And that is going to be the Flex Cleaner. And I'm just like, this cleaner is, it's she's that good. I don't like to oversell, but this one I actually will. If you, this is really good. Like, this is a good cleaner. This is a cleaner that I first got. When did I get this? Sophie's 12 now, if you can believe it. And I got it when she was a puppy. I remember using this when she was a puppy because, you know, lots of spills and, well, not spills, but, you know. And, uh, this one worked. Like, this is just works like nothing else. You can get anything out with this thing. Flex solves all my problems. She is a bottle that solves all my hopes and dreams and it's everything you want out of a cleaner. And by that, I mean it doesn't damage your fabrics and it cleans it. I will actually say if I were to dock a point, this is not the Flex's fault. It's that when you have something that's not really clean and then you spill on it and you clean it with the Flex and then you wipe it, you realize, oh, the rest of this isn't clean. The Flex, the stain spot is now cleaner than the rest of the cushion. And then that's when you realize you need to fix your cushions and you need to clean better because, um, that's kind of embarrassing and I put that on the internet.
Okay, next on my list is going to be the Unicorn 9-in Magnum Plus Peppermill. That is a mouthful. There is a smaller version. We're going to save all the jokes about the 9-in versus the whatever. We're going to save that one. We're just going to park it. But I will say because it's not that type of channel. We keep it clean and, um, family-friendly. I'm known for my family-friendly content. We're going to say though that the 9-in peppermill is the way. I can't even do it anymore. It's the way to go. Let's just focus on the quality of the peppermill itself. The size that you get is up to you. The, the peppermill is the peppermill that will be all up, be all peppermills. And I can't take full credit out of this one because this is Bon Appétit's favorite one. This is Cooks.com, which I think is also America's Test Kitchen. No, America's Test Kitchen. The test kitchen. No, that's Bon Appétit. Whatever. They all say the same thing, which is that this is the best peppermill. This is the Rolls-Royce of peppermills. Which doesn't Peugeot make peppermills? And aren't they a car company in Europe? And then, like, I don't know. I always found that confusing. Who knows? Michelin makes tires and also recommends restaurants. So, like, it doesn't always make sense around here. But this one is the best peppermill. I didn't realize because, you know what sucks when you're making a soup or something and you're just doing this. I can't escape the peppermill. But, um, you're peppermilling and there's just no pepper that comes out and you check if it's full and then you're like, do I replace these little grinder thingies? It's just not doing it. Then you use the Unicorn and you're like amazed at how much pepper comes out. It's just a few cranks and you're good to go. And you just get so much pepper out of this thing. I don't know how it does it. It's made by like a local, not local, not local to me. I live nowhere near here, but it makes from a small, small business in Nantucket, which is a real place. And, um, not just for the jokes. And it's a great little small business. And they've been making peppermills for a long time. Now, if you're in Canada like me, then you had to pay duty on this, but honestly, I just was like, you know what? Suck it up, Nick. This is the one peppermill you will ever own. Well, probably. Maybe. And, uh, so just pay it. Just pay it and get the peppermill. For you Americans that have access to this peppermill, what are you doing? Why are you even still on this video? You should just be buying this. Unless you don't like pepper, in which case, that makes sense.
Okay, next up on my list is going to be the Tushy. Now, I said we were a family-friendly channel, but we're going to be talking about bidets because it's 2026 and if you are not using a bidet, then I question your decisions. There is so much information out there now and the Tushy has made it so easy. There's no electrical. Well, you can if you want the warm water version, but then you got wires all over the place, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. You don't need it. I'm just going to tell you right now. They offer the cold version, which is just like the one notch. Then they have the two, which also you're not going to use that. You're all good. So, you're just going to get the one and it's the one standard one that Tushy sells. They're going to send you bells and whistles, but it doesn't matter. You just want this one. They could heat up, they could do whatever. It gives you the Japanese toilet, Korean spa toilet experience, but it's just one dial and it's like super cheap and it's really easy. Like, anybody can set it up. Literally, it's just you and I think like a wrench, maybe. I don't know. Like, it really takes, I don't, I forget now. But like, it's so easy to set up. It's so easy to do. There's no electrical and then you have a bidet forever. And trust me, this is one of those situations that once you have a bidet, you can't imagine life before it. In fact, you question your choices and what you were doing before you had one. Now, there's lots of bidets out there, so you don't have to get this one. And you can get Tushy from the website. You don't have to go to Amazon. Yeah, I'm all about that. Just by the way, like this is an Amazon video, but feel free to go to the website. Go to Costco, like Walmart. I don't care. But like, there's lots of places you can get it. The Tushy's own website is another good one that they just sell it direct there, but they do have it on Amazon and, uh, I think the price is the same. And it's really good. And then once you have that, get any bidet, to be honest. But this one is really good. And without going into a whole lot of detail, it's high pressure. We're just going to say that. I'm moving on. Okay. Thanks.
Okay, next up, this is just a super quickie because I bought this because it had great reviews and it was pretty cheap. And that ticks, ticks, ticks my boxes on Amazon while I'm perusing. And that's going to be these kitchen dishcloths. Now, I like these because they're a waffle, which I'm kind of into a waffle thing right now. It's kind of like, I don't know. I'm kind of liking it, liking it in my towels as well. And, uh, and I like the colors. They got lots of different color options. You can buy like multi-packs. I kind of wanted the rust one, but it wasn't, I don't think it was available at the time. And so, I bought this one, which is like a chocolate brown and like a cream and whatever. It's like a triple pack. It's cute. What do you want from me? It's a kitchen towel. It's well-priced with great reviews. And that's, uh, that's kind of all you need to really know. It's on a whole lot of information there. You kind of know what to do with with a kitchen towel and, uh, it does a good job there. Now, I will say I kind of wish they came, I, I should look to see if they have tea towels because I need new tea towels. If you have any recommendations for tea towels, please let me know because I need some new ones. But these ones are more just like dishcloths that you can use, which is always helpful.
Okay, and then another one which is an oldie but a goodie is going to be this outdoor indoor battery-operated table lamp. And she's this little cutie back here. Look, there she is. I'm not doing that right. There she is. Right there. I like this one just because it's a portable lamp, but it's also, well, it's inexpensive, which is great, but it's a portable lamp that's also durable. And that's kind of the thing because ever since I had the rest, may she rest in peace, Soho Home lamp that I unfortunately lost when she teetered over while I was charging her and she shattered weeks after I got her, and she was a lot more expensive than that little guy back there, I can tell you. But this, honestly, you could throw this at a wall and it's probably going to be fine. Like, it's, it looks cute. It's a little cute little basic lamp, but it's just, you just have a little touch bar sensor there and then she, she turns on and off and that's it. And it's also like perfect for outdoors as well. So, uh, it's great. Like, I think outdoor lighting is something a lot of, I don't talk about and a lot of people don't really talk about, but it's more than just string lights, if you can believe. And I think little table lamps like that are a really great way to sort of jazz up your exterior, your outdoors. I think it's really fun. And this one is just a simple, like, outdoor-friendly. Well, I've seen people put these in the shower, which is a little bit weird to me, but like, I get it, kind of. And it's just really durable. And I really love that because that's what you're after for like an indoor-outdoor. And ever since the Soho Home experience, that's what I'm in for. This one I've had for like, I think I've had this lamp for like a good three years or so, maybe four, something like that. And it's, uh, just as good as it was when I bought it. Right now, this I just put this here for the video. Normally though, she goes in the guest bathroom and she's just really cute for some mood lighting. And I love that because that's kind of an awkward place to put cords, right? So just a little touch lamp charger. She's good for a few days, maybe a, maybe longer.
Okay, and then next up is going to be where are they? The Worhe coasters. I have a lot of coasters, but these are the ones that I use the most often. I am not going to tell you this is anything more than exactly what it is, which is a round 4-inch travertine coaster. I love that it doesn't have like, some of them have like a cork bottom or something, which is great for like gripping or whatever, but it's travertine. I've never had a problem with this sliding over the place. I love that it doesn't matter either way. It's like it works and this is, I just think it's beautiful. I don't know. It's just like it holds up. These are inexpensive. If you're looking for a stone coaster, then this is a great choice. I have some in green. I have one in like a Rosa Levanto red one. Those are all great. Those were way more expensive than these guys. But in the end, this is such a neutral, basic, simple coaster that it's perfect. I want to get four more just because, like, I mean, I have a lot of coasters already, but I want to have eight matching coasters because I'm cuckoo and I need for them to all match. And so I think I'm going to get four more. But I've had these four for, again, probably a good five years or so. And they still look great because they're just travertine. What are they going to do? Like, I'm not going to say it's anything more than it is. It's just a little slab of travertine. But that's all you need in a cute coaster, isn't it? So it's perfect. I love this one. Also, they have a little salt caddy situation. I don't need one because I just got one from CB2. But if you're interested, I'm sure if they can do coasters, I'm sure these guys know how to make a little salt caddy for you, too. What a travertine.
Okay, and then next up is going to be Sophie's dog bed. I talked about this one in like an Amazon video a while ago, like a few years back. It's still her bed that sits in the corner of the office. So, every day while I'm making YouTube videos and doing my emails, I'm very important. I'm sitting there working away, working away. She is sitting behind me in this bed. She loves this thing. Apparently, according to the, the description, it is the calming donut dog and cat bed. Okay. I don't know if she's particularly calm. Uh, until Sophie's gone for a walk and been fed, she's rarely calm. But, uh, yeah, she seems to have a great time in there, so that's got to be a good thing. I'm not sure if your dog is really anxious. Maybe that's a good thing. It says in the product description, but that could be a load of crap. We have no idea, do we? Maybe a dog psychologist or something is in the, uh, is that a thing? Do their dog psychologists? The other day I was walking by and I saw a thing that said pet psychic and I was like, is that a psychic for your pet, or is that a pet that's a psychic? I was a bit confused. Anyway, what was I talking about? This bed. This bed is cute and it is furry and dogs apparently relax when they're in it. And Sophie seems to love it. And if it's good for Sophie, maybe it's good for your pet, too.
Okay, and then next up on my list is going to be the Vitamix X4. Now, I have been back and forth on the Beast Blender, Vitamix, Beast Blender, Vitamix for many years, and I finally have gone back to Team Vitamix. The Beast Blender is great. I featured it in a video before, and if you have one, it's great. For me, it was a size issue. I typically will use that for like salad dressings or, yeah, pretty much salad dressings. That's mostly it. Anyway, but little things. Well, this is where I put my green smoothie. And if you didn't know, in a past life, I had a smoothie business. I actually, I'm way more qualified to talk about smoothies than I am, well, design, quite frankly. And, uh, so I can tell you that I'm really good at making smoothies. And so I really felt like I wanted to get more green smoothies in my life. If you want my green smoothie recipe, by the way, maybe I should throw it in the description. I think I'm going to throw it down there. Maybe I should do a video on the second channel, which I do have, by the way, if you didn't know. But I rarely post there, but it, I, it's fun when I do post. I should do a video on my green smoothie recipe. I was thinking about it and I think I need to do it. Anyway, I make my green smoothie in the Vitamix X4. I've done all the research. There's tons of Vitamix models out there, but this is the one. It's cute. It's got different settings, but there's more expensive ones, but they have way too many settings and you don't need them. And so, this one was the one for me. And the Vitamix is just the gold standard. I'm sorry, but if you, the Beast is great. The Blendtec is good, but the Vitamix is where it's at. They know how to make blenders. They've been doing it for years. The Vitamix I had back in like, I think I bought one in 2011. Literally, it was like the weekend when I moved back from Amsterdam. So that'd be 2011. And I had that thing until I gave it to my mom. I had that thing for like 10 years, which a lot of people are like, I've had my Vitamix since 1974. In which case, good for you. But I've had mine for a while and it was great enough that I decided to go back to Team Vitamix and buy another one. And this, this is the one. She's, she's good.
