The 11th century of the common era, the middle [موسيقى] ages after centuries of European dominance reigned. 1% of the population, nobles and their titles, Count or Duke or Baron, owned all the agricultural land, and 99% of the population of Europe were called the singular is قن, meaning slave, a slave [موسيقى] of the land. This slave could not leave the land, even if the land was sold from one person to another; he remained tied to the land. [موسيقى] And for this reason, I found in the literature of the era a poem about a woman, a slave, and because of the harsh cold, her baby son cried day and night. The boy's name is Bodo, they say in the Frankish language, Bodo my baby cry, Bodo my baby die, she wished death for her son instead of this miserable life. [موسيقى]
The king granted some of the aristocratic class of knights portions of his lands. These knights, who descended from this lord or from this feudal chapter, the eldest son inherited the fiefdom, while the other brothers became unemployed. What did they do? They were knights; naturally, they sought to search for sources of livelihood through acts of banditry and piracy. These small feudal entities were in constant war against each other, and this led to a kind of societal war, a daily reality. The Papacy tried to produce a solution through the Pax Dei, or the Peace of God, but it failed. It became necessary that the war energy of the fighters and knights be exported outside Europe in a project led by them. [موسيقى] This indicates that the power of the Church grew stronger; indeed, the land owned by the Church exceeded the lands of the kings of Europe combined, and its financial treasures and valuables exceeded the treasures of the kings of Europe combined. [موسيقى]
The Islamic world at that stage was at the height of fragmentation. I have the Abbasid state in Baghdad, opposed and fighting it, the Fatimid state in Egypt, because these are Shia and these are Sunni, to the extent that a coup d'état took place in Baghdad, the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate, and the Seljuk Turks saved it. But in a way that the rescue army always turns into an army of occupation. The Seljuk Turks from Central Asia embraced Islam, then controlled the Abbasid Caliphate during the reign of Tughril Beg. [موسيقى]
Began expanding in all significant areas as against Christendom. [موسيقى]
The Seljuk Turks succeeded in capturing Romanos Diogenes IV, his successor asked for help from Western Europe and sent a delegation to request it from Gregory VII, whom his colleagues called the Holy Devil. There was an opportunity to realize his dream of controlling the Church of the Resurrection and gathering all the armed forces under the command of the Pope. He embarked on a campaign called the Project of the Lord. Pope Gregory had the idea of a holy war; his idea was that an army would go to the East to reclaim the tomb of Jesus Christ, as he believed, from the Muslims, whom he considered to have seized it. A kind of propaganda began to form, portraying the Muslims in a hideous way to justify the aggression against them. [موسيقى]
The Middle Ages were known for the fact that all the European people in different countries could not read or write. In the midst of this ignorant society, which only received visits once a year on Christmas, and the priest himself was illiterate, could not read or write. Imagine in the midst of this ignorant society the extent of fanaticism that could be generated. However, the winds did not blow as the papacy wished. [موسيقى]
One of the most dangerous popes of the Middle Ages, a highly fanatical man, believed in exporting Catholic Christianity and saw the liberation of Christianity.

On that the Pope made [موسيقى] a speech that would be the starting point of two centuries of blood, the Crusades. [موسيقى]

This religious factor is a fundamental factor, especially in the people, especially among the poor; it has the power of magic among the poor, but among the bourgeois, nobles, and dignitaries, I do not think that religious factors are the driving force. Urban offered a kind of reward that is unbelievable; people would go through all of this and there would be no prize, so he offered a prize represented by the lands of the East, Palestine, which overflows with milk and honey, as the Bible says. As soon as the Pope finished his speech, some people said, “The Lord wills it,” cut red strips of cloth, and placed them on their chests, marked with the cross, and preparations began for the departure of the campaign. [موسيقى] [موسيقى] [تصفيق]
The people who saw him and wrote about him, from the Latin historians, said that he was a man of divine appearance, slender in body, gifted with eloquence, and the ability to address the masses, and there was a strange resemblance between him and his donkey. Because he wore rough woolen clothes and was barefoot, people imagined that this was the apostolic poverty that inspired him. Peter the Hermit began to gather the outcasts and the women sinners and those who ran away from debts, and some hasty knights joined him. Peter the Hermit's strength is his eloquence. He traveled throughout Europe and announced the call for the popular campaign. This popular campaign was a sensation; all the Europeans came out, each carrying a hoe on his shoulder and a knapsack containing some belongings, as we say, and a mixture of people gathered. A strange scene showing from the beginning the extent of the ideological bankruptcy of this campaign that went out under the banner of the cross. They didn’t know the way or the distance, and they set off, but they were something other than the army of the Lord.
They're desperate for money; they are poorly funded; they are out to kill and get money wherever they can. One of the criticisms of Peter the Hermit's armies, and indeed other Crusader armies, is that they attack fellow Christians, co-religionists. They often did this for practical reasons; or they are out to seize whatever they can get to survive, so they will take property, crops, prisoners, if they can, anything to keep themselves going, and if that happens to be Christians, or it happens to be Jews, then, as far as they are concerned, that is the way it is; they are simply trying to save themselves. [موسيقى]
The burning houses and destroyed churches were evidence that the army of the Lord had passed through here. [موسيقى]
The emperor who was present, Alexius Comnenus, had asked Europe for help, but this was not help; it was a catastrophe because he was surprised by the city. The people who came with Peter the Hermit found beautiful, shimmering churches covered with silver, and they saw the Byzantine army dressed in beautiful, shimmering clothes. A kind of cultural shock occurred, so they began to attack the churches and public buildings. The army was ordered to transfer them directly to Asia Minor. [موسيقى] [تصفيق] [موسيقى]
They had no role; they believed that they would enjoy the bliss of paradise if they reached Jerusalem and liberated it from the Muslims.

The first Christians to head towards Jerusalem, enthusiastic but undisciplined, had been crushed by the Muslims in Asia. [تصفيق]
But now a larger and better-armed force forms the first combined European array.
The Count of Toulouse, Godfrey of Bouillon, and his brother Baldwin of Boulogne, the first Count of Verdun and brother of King Philip of France, Robert, Duke of Normandy, son of King William of England, and the Normans of [موسيقى]
Gl war.
The armies began to leave Western Europe heading towards the Holy Land. Some had gone to defend their reputation, and some had gone to acquire new land and build an empire. They didn't walk to Constantinople; they walked through Asia Minor. This is an area whose nature only the Byzantines and their guides knew. They needed supplies along the way, and the Byzantines were able to provide them with them. The Byzantines stipulated two conditions: firstly, that they swear allegiance and obedience to him; secondly, that they return the lands they conquer, which were Byzantine, to Byzantium. After swearing allegiance and obedience and pledging to return the areas seized by the Seljuk Turks, they were allowed to enter his lands into Asia [موسيقى] [موسيقى] Minor. They recruited people and dressed them in military attire and set out from Nicea on the lake, riding ships and sailing, not by land. There was no Seljuk sultan present there; the Seljuk leadership was surprised by a military blow, and they succeeded in seizing the capital, a first step. [موسيقى]
True to their word, they swore to the emperor; the city of Nicea was given to the Byzantines, and as the Crusaders were successful in their, abation arman chran rch ea b is one of the leaders of the first crusade and
The ruler of the city told Baldwin that he adopted him and that after his death, he had the right to inherit his principality. Baldwin was impatient, not waiting for the man to die, so he waited. A revolt broke out in the city against the ruler of the principality. He participated in it, and the man was killed, and he became the ruler of the principality. This was the first Crusader principality to be established in [موسيقى] the East.
The Edessa's control over it indicates that the religious spirit is lacking among the Crusaders and among the Crusader leaders who came under the pretext of liberating the Holy Sepulchre from the infidels, and Edessa is not on the road to Jerusalem; it does not contain any of the dialogues of Jesus Christ, and it is not a place of pilgrimage.

Baldwin was a while the main army marched on Antioch, taking it.
Antioch's location is very fortified, and it was not easy to seize it in an open military battle. [موسيقى]
When news of the progress of the princes' campaign reached the Seljuk prince Yaghi-Siyan, he began preparing for a long siege. Antioch withstood a year during which the Crusaders suffered greatly and ate tree leaves. Crusader sources mention this matter in detail to show that Antioch was a great Crusader feat. The city remained steadfast to a very great extent until betrayal began. [موسيقى] [موسيقى]
At night, Bohemond of Normandy agreed with a man named Firouz to open one of the castle gates for them. Firouz lowered a rope ladder from the tower he was guarding in the castle. [موسيقى]
This group descended from the castle to open the city gates, but they could not seize the castle itself. Every city in the Middle Ages had a tower in the middle of the city; it is its symbol, where the ruler is. The city does not fall unless this tower falls. The people of the tower remained steadfast in their position because they were in a high place, the place below was choked, and I had my weapons and could defend myself for a longer time until some hope came from the citadel through the sewer they sent me there. [موسيقى]
A very severe siege occurred, to the point that famine struck the Crusaders.
As Crusaders, they spent a couple of years getting to this place, all their efforts, all their loss of life, and really, they were so close to defeat; it pretty well needs a miracle for them to survive, and that's pretty well what they got. [موسيقى] [موسيقى]
One of the clergy claimed that Jesus Christ appeared to him in a dream and indicated that the Holy Lance, which pierced his side, was in a certain place. [موسيقى]
This is something that inspires the troops; God has given them a sign that if they persevere they will [موسيقى] [تصفيق] [موسيقى] [تصفيق] succeed. The fact that they actually saw another one in Constantinople as they went through seems to be conveniently forgotten, for me. [موسيقى] [موسيقى] [موسيقى]
The Crusaders emerged in an exhausted state and defeated Kerbogha because he was in an unenviable position; they were between two things: staying and dying, and if they left, they might win. Thus, the victory was achieved, and Antioch finally fell into their hands. However, there was a problem; the Crusaders, when they arrived, if we think about it, swore allegiance to the Byzantine emperor. But when they seized Antioch, they did not return it to the Byzantine emperor but kept it for themselves. [موسيقى] [موسيقى]
The dispute was finally settled in 1101.
The Crusaders asked everyone who passed through any area to help them remain without being slaughtered. Some, as a way to confront this flood, agreed to help the Crusaders remain alive. A kind of truce was reached, to the extent that the English write in their books that paying would buy them safety. Every major city in the Levant was a principality or kingdom when the Crusaders arrived. The Crusaders were not stronger, not more numerous, not more superior in the arts of war, not more courageous, not more civilized, but they were victorious. They triumphed because of this political and demographic change.
In June 1099, and after three years of a long march, battles, plagues, and famine, the Crusaders finally reached Jerusalem.
They besieged the city for several days and performed a kind of ritual circumambulation and religious rituals, similar to what happened in the Old Testament. They were influenced by the stories of the Torah and the story of the fall of Jericho at the hands of Joshua son of Nun, when the Jews began to circle the walls of Jericho, playing music and reciting prayers, and they believed that a divine will brought down the walls and they entered. They believed that this situation could also be repeated in the fall of the walls of Jerusalem. The city was poorly fortified because the Fatimids had seized it shortly before from the Seljuk Turks and had destroyed its fortifications. Here, we find that the siege intensified, and the Fatimid resistance was weak; the people of the city could not withstand it, and in the end, the Crusaders entered the city of Jerusalem. [موسيقى]
The entry was terrifying; they began a massacre unparalleled in its horror, killing people in the streets, in houses, in alleys. Arab sources say that about 100,000 people were slaughtered. The massacre lasted 10 days, and there was a kind of unprecedented, sick collective sadism. What recorded the brutality of the Crusaders were not Arab pens but Western pens. The skulls of the killings, if collected, would have built walls that rise above Jerusalem, and the horses waded in pools of blood. As a historian of the campaign, one of the clergy, said, “We fulfilled the Crusader vow when the blood of the Muslims reached our stirrups.” [موسيقى] [تصفيق] [موسيقى]
Fin J Ju 1099. Ten years on the march, they finally achieved their spirit; so really, a situation where the Crusaders came to purify and take back themselves, and those wereen out.
Islamic places, the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, were subjected to desecration and destruction. The Al-Aqsa Mosque was turned into a stable for horses; the Church of the Resurrection was turned into Catholic rituals instead of Eastern rituals. [موسيقى]
After they made sure they had killed everyone they wanted to kill, almost all the inhabitants of the city, they entered with their hands covered in blood and their foreheads dripping with sweat, and on the altar of the Church of the Resurrection, they said, “We thank you, Lord.”
The success of the First Crusade in storming and seizing the city of Jerusalem was something beyond the dream that moved them from Western Europe, but it was a punishment for the Muslims and Arabs for their division and fighting among themselves. [موسيقى]
With the capture of Jerusalem, the First Crusade achieved its greatest victory, but success would not last. It was to be a dramatic opening, and as the Muslim revival began, so the ground was laid for another two [موسيقى] [موسيقى] centuries. Ah [موسيقى]
