The psalm 101 verses 2 and 3 says this: "I want to live with integrity in my house." If you can repeat the final word, "In my what? In my house." I'm going to say it one more time, repeat it. I want to live with integrity in my house. I will not put anything evil before me. I detest the conduct of the wicked and I will not let myself be influenced. A very fashionable word, I will not let myself be influenced by them. I want to share a message this morning that we have titled, your house is not everyone's house. Let's see again. Your house, what? You are very judiciously repeating. Remember that I don't make you repeat out of a crutch or because I don't know why you follow the message. It is so that you use more senses. Use hearing, use sight, but you can also use speech so that you fix more knowledge. So, when you do it, I repeat, you are not just filling a moment, no, you are generating that apprehension and that learning. Let's go again to the count of three. 1 2 3. Your house, your house is not everyone's house. The psalm we just read, it strikes me how King David, who is the one who utters this psalm, shows me the importance of God's presence and how the presence of the Holy Spirit, the presence of God, and sound spirituality is vital in our house. David lives in a palace when he writes that psalm; he is there in the kingdom. He lives surrounded by security, surrounded by wealth, surrounded by victory. But he knows that the need for a house goes beyond food or clothing or money. A house needs the presence of God to be able to advance. Tell me something, please. A house that does not have the presence of God is a gloomy house, it is a sad house, it is a difficult house where people feel happier outside than inside. Hm. And they lock the doors with a key because they are already going to leave. I believe, let's go again. A person who tells me, "I prefer to be on the street than to go home." This message is definitely for you, and we are going to see what might be happening. My house is important as a structure. I will show you that it is. The Bible always let me see the importance of my house, its relevant role. Remember that Passover was celebrated where? In the house. The first Christians, where did they break bread? The Bible says in Acts, in their houses. After Noah passed the flood, where did all the spiritual development of humanity itself begin? In his house. Observe that the house always had a relevant role and always will. What happens is that we are allowing things in our house that are causing harm, and sometimes we don't realize it. And be careful, church, when David spoke of living with integrity in my house, when David says, "I will be careful about what enters my house, about what happens in my house, about the people I will meet in my house," this shows me a truth, and that is that what is allowed in the house affects life. Because true life with God, where does it begin? It doesn't begin in church. True life with God begins in the home. If you are not well in your house, don't tell me you are well here because you are praying in church. There are many houses that are not well, but they show themselves on the street as if they were well. Be careful, church. Today I come to call you to not let just anything or anyone enter your house. Do you know why? Because what enters your house moves the atmosphere of your house, and what enters your house could enter your heart. What you allow to stay in your house may begin to permeate the heart and damage the heart. God must be the Lord of my life. Of course. And we shout it and we say it. God is the Lord of my life. But I have seen many people who want God to be the Lord of their life, but He is not the Lord of their house. And I have news for you. If God is not the Lord of your house, He is not the Lord of your life either. If you take God out of your house, don't tell me He will be in your life. If I want God to be my God, then He will also have to reign in my house. And I have news for you, whether good or not so good, someone reigns in your house, either darkness or light, but someone reigns there. I ask you, who reigns in your house? Ask yourself, start doing an analysis. In my house, who reigns? A house that is kept full of fighting, of problems, of shouting, of lust, of infidelity, of wickedness. Who is reigning in your house this morning? In the name of Jesus, we are going to change the atmosphere of our house, the atmosphere of our room, the atmosphere of our children, the atmosphere of our surroundings. Your house was not designed as a place of sin. Your house was designed as a sanctuary of God, where God's presence will reign. Is anyone alive this morning here? This morning is the morning to take out all the garbage that is in your house. I cannot open the doors of my house to sin and let it come and damage the atmosphere of my house. When you allow any person or anything to enter your house, then the atmosphere is being altered. And this question comes, which I want you to think about. How is the atmosphere in your house? How was the atmosphere this week? How was the environment with the children, with the parents, with what, what is moving in our house? Has it not happened to you that after some people visit us and leave, things feel all weird? It feels like wanting to fight with the wife, like the children are very naughty, like everything got bogged down. Of course, because there is contamination, and the person who enters my house brings what they carry. If you allow spiritually dirty people to enter your house, be careful because you could be contaminating your house. I must have discernment to know who enters and who does not enter my house. It's like anyone can enter my house. Your house is not everyone's house. Your house is a sacred place. I still remember that child I attended in the psychiatric hospital, nine years old, when I saw why a child was hospitalized so young in a psychiatric hospital. I go, I look, we look at the history. Look what happened. 9 years old. A child who was just on the rise before turning 9, around his 8th birthday, the clinical history said that this child picked up magazines with high erotic content, pure pornography. The child, upon opening it, sees it, his innocence is shattered, and the child begins with intrusive and disturbing, ruminating thoughts that begin to damage his life, and the child was even on the verge of harming himself. That's why they took him to the hospital. When I ask him, "And how did you get those magazines?" "It's my uncle, it's the uncle that my dad let live with us, he left them in his room, and I was around and I saw them, I picked them up and looked at them." Neither the father himself nor the Who shattered the child's innocence? Someone you invited to sleep at the house, and he arrived with all his garbage. The people you let into your house will enter with everything they have, spiritually, emotionally, and mentally. Today I make a very strong call to the church. You will take care of your husband, your wife, your children, your surroundings. You will take care of the atmosphere of your house, because what we are at home, that is what we are. Charles Spurgeon used to say. You are what you are at home. So, they are not with me, I'm going to your house. They are kicking me out of here. Why are they kicking you out? Because you are evangelical, because you are Christian, because you are a good person. You cannot open the door of your house to just anyone. Oh, where does the Bible say that? Well, I see the Good Samaritan. The Good Samaritan is applauded by the Bible, but not because he took him to his house. What does he do? He takes him to a hotel. He pays, take care of him, I'll cover everything. And the Lord says, "What a good man." So, I don't have to open the door of my house to just anyone to be a good person. Am I making myself understood? Are you worried today? I love it when I see you looking so scared. Your house is not everyone's house because your house has been reserved to be a refuge, to be a sanctuary. Vice does not have to enter your house. A cigarette does not have to enter your house. A person does not have to enter your house to say bad words. I remember one day I invited a neighbor, he came over, we were talking when he started with a curse word, and I told him, "Bad words are not said in my house." He said, "Oh, how embarrassing, how sorry." Do you know why? Because I am more embarrassed with the Holy Spirit than with a neighbor. If you don't like it, leave, friend, but the Holy Spirit stays in my house. I will not let another person bring their dirt to my daughters. Do not let others come and disrupt the home that the Lord has given you. There are many people who are light outside, darkness inside. And what enters through those doors of our house, attention, will determine the spiritual culture of our house. What I am allowing to enter through those doors will begin to shape my children, to shape my family, to shape my marriage. Sometimes it is better to close the door than to open it wide. I wanted to bring something this morning to illustrate it. How many perhaps own their own house? How many rent? How many are allowed? But we all live somewhere, meaning we all have a house. Thank you, Nor. This is a beautiful house. Look, they built it, they made it very nice. This house, from this door inward, must carry the presence of God. Amen. This door inward should bring me peace, joy, happiness, sustainability, rest. But there are people here whose house is so contaminated that they prefer to go out through that door. They feel peace when they go out through that door, they feel joy when they leave through that door. Today I am going to change that by the power of the Holy Spirit. The chip is going to change. The problem is that your house is dirty, it is full of fighting. Yes, it is beautiful. You bought a new house, the house is beautiful, but here the house looks beautiful, but there is shouting. The house looks beautiful, but there is gossip and murmuring. The house looks beautiful, but there is sin there. Take the sin out from within so that you can enjoy what it is to have a good home, a good house. It will not be possible to have it if Christ is not in the house. And how do you have Christ there? By praying, by crying out, but above all by living a life that pleases in the house. Prayer, but they don't have God. That is called praying. Did you think I was going to give you that today? Until next Sunday when we see each other, we had to give you a lot. There are people who are living a religion in here. Look, in here. How many want to invite the Lord into their house today? How many want to say, "Lord, I want you to be the invisible guest of my house?" Say, "Amen." But be careful, making God an invisible guest will make you change the series you are watching on Netflix. When Jesus is the invisible guest, you will be careful what you are watching on the computer at night. When Jesus is the invisible guest, you will be careful what you start watching on your cell phone when you go to the bathroom, because the Lord is around. He is the invisible guest. What if the Lord says to you, "What are you watching there?" Let's see, show me, are you ashamed or happy? What is in the heart? What are we putting into our house? What are we receiving? What do our children receive inside the house? Do they long to come home or long to leave home? When we understand the power our home has, we will defend it, because the Bible said that he comes to steal. And we protect the house from external thieves, cameras, sensors, alarms, surveillance, but there are people who are not protecting their house from what enters through the main door. You are careful not to let them in through a window, not to let them in through this fence. But to what extent are you ensuring that Satan does not enter through the very door? No, they are coming to watch the soccer game with me because the national team is playing, and grandpa arrives with a pack of beer. It's my dad, it's not that it's your dad. But that doesn't enter here. The message is unpleasant. It's Aunt Julia, who loves to smoke, well, she'll have to put away her cigarettes because my children don't know what a cigarette is. They don't know the smell of a cigarette, and they won't know it in my own house. I knew a person who one day was going to light an electronic cigarette in my house. Someone who arrived and I don't know what. When I see him taking that out, I didn't even know what that was. I said, "What is that?" And then they start assembling like witchcraft, something there, some weed, and I said, "That?" "Oh, no, this is an electronic cigarette, it even smells good." I said, "No, not here." I said, "Not here." Oh, how embarrassing. Do you know what that resulted in? That person told me over time that since that day, he had left there feeling so bad that he made a promise to God, and that is that he would never have that again. And he is not a Christian person. And he told me, since then I have never tried one again. So, we can be a blessing even when embarrassed. How embarrassing. Out of embarrassment, you will alter the atmosphere of your house. Out of embarrassment, you will let someone else bring something that doesn't belong there. Not out of embarrassment, it's that the uncle came and he is very devoted to the Virgin and to... No, no, no, no, no. Friend, my house is not everyone's house. It can be a house that opens up to bless you, but I will take care of my house, my children, my wife. Be careful, it's not that the nephew is coming. Oh, the stories I know about the nephew. And you would go to work, and your wife would stay there with the nephew. Pastor, and the... No, no, no, it's not that you should have discernment, you cannot give place to... The boy is 19, 22 years old. Your wife is 33, 35. That boy's head is flying, and the lady is very beautiful, she is beautiful, she is gorgeous, because God makes ladies beautiful. What am I going to do to turn things around? It's not that he's family, even worse, pastor. That sounds extreme. I prefer to be extreme than to be lax and permissive and damage the environment of my home. The house must be cared for. The house must be defended. The house must be protected. As David said, "I do not want a lack of integrity in my house." Number one, my house is a... Let's see if multimedia dares. My house is a... If the house is a sanctuary, then it must be seen, cared for, and treated as such. The verse, two verses I wanted to bring. Joshua 24:15, very well known, this beautiful phrase from the verse that says, "My house, let's see, all together, we will serve the Lord." But Deuteronomy, when you read the whole chapter 6, there are some verses I wanted to rescue where the word says: "These words, the commandments, and what the Lord said, you shall repeat them to your children. You shall speak of them where? In your house. You shall speak of them when you lie down, you shall speak of them when you get up." It is in the house. When I see the first verse where Joshua is speaking, I say, "How is it possible that this leader, this warrior, who had everything, was not content with that?" Joshua not only made sure that God was in the battle. Joshua made sure that God was in his house. There are people who pray for the company, pray for the business, pray for the car. Go and pray for your house today. Make sure that God is not only in the company, but that God is in the house. Make sure that God is not only in the motorcycle or the car, but that God is in the house. Seek the Lord, bring Him to your house, make a space for Him. Allow God's presence to be enjoyable in your house, so that people arrive there and say, "Oh, I feel such peace." Yes, but that doesn't mean you can stay here, dear, because this peace is valuable. This peace costs a lot, and only people who have God in their hearts can stay here. Every visit I will filter, every visit I will think about, every visit I will look at because my house is a sanctuary. I repeat it again, central church. Your house is not just anything. The Lord gave you your house as a sanctuary. But there are people who think it is in the church. The church does not form character; it is the home. That's why people change churches because they don't feel... friend. It's not the church; it's the home. It's not in church that I teach my children to pray. It's not in church that I kneel my children. It's at home. It's not in church that the Bible is opened; it's at home. That's why this place is so sacred. This week I was going to pray here. Salomé asked me, Salomé and Daniela were watching television, "Daddy, where are you going?" And I said, "To pray, I'm going with you." "No, we're going." Little Salomé told me, and I gave her, "I'm going to pray too." They come behind me, enter the little room where I pray. They both kneel immediately because I have taught them that one kneels in that little room, besides it's small. I have a little board where I write down who to pray for during the month. When Daniela sees this board, she says, "Don't take that, we didn't come here to pray." And she says, "But I want to write my name so you can pray for me." Seeing that Dani is there. I said, "Okay." So she wrote her name, Daniel. Salomé wanted to and they were going to fight. I said, "Hey, not here, Daniela, not here, not here." And Daniela says to Salomé, "We can't fight here because Daddy God sleeps here." I said, "There, why? What do you mean Daddy God sleeps here?" Of course, because she sees that there is a rug, some cushions. I think she says, "Here the Lord lies down and relaxes." Because she says, "God lives here, inside." They knelt down, I prayed for about 7 minutes with them. I laid my hands on them, and then I heard them go to humble each other, my dad put us in the room, prayed for us, laid his hands on me. Oh my God, these little girls, what are they learning? To seek God? Yes, I give them things that entertain them, I give them nice things in the house, they have a TV. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But they know that there is a place in the house where God is sought, and they will grow up knowing that whatever happens in their lives, there is a place before going to the internet to look for a diagnosis, before watching on television what happened, there is a place where God will hear their cry and their plea and will bring an answer to their lives. Teach your family that the house is not just walls; the house is a sanctuary where God is, and His presence in the house must be respected. Do not take God out of your house. Do you want a victorious house? Bring more and more spirituality, blessing, and close the door more. I said, close the door more. Do not allow just anyone to enter, nor anything to enter. Church, our adolescents must, in such a turbulent world, take David's word as he said. I will not be influenced, David said, by the wicked. Look, this week two adolescents, two girls, caught my attention. One, her father is very dear, very kind to me, and every Sunday he realized that I like hot fritters. And this blessed man, before coming to the service, stops by a place that sells spectacular fritters and brings a box of fritters here. That day he told me, "Pastor, pray for me, I'm going to such and such country." I prayed for him. He left. My surprise is that one of the young men tells me, "Pastor, there are some fritters they brought." I said, "Who brought fritters? But if so-and-so is not here." Well, what had happened? That one of his adolescent daughters, he had left her to take care of with the family because he and his wife had gone away. The girl, when she could have stayed home watching television doing nothing, the girl made her family, her aunts and uncles, and the people who were there, who don't go to church, come to church. And on the way to church, she tells them, "But we have to stop by a place first to buy some fritters." The family says to her, "Why? It's that we have to take those fritters there." They stopped, bought the fritters, and the girl, without her father telling her, learned to come to church and bring fritters to the pastor. She brought the little fritters, and when I thanked her father, I said, "Look what a beautiful detail, pastor. It's what she has learned, it's what we have taught her." He said, "And you know the latest? She is asking my permission if she can speak in the grow group." I said, "How to speak?" He said, "Yes, she wants to, an adolescent, 12, 13 years old, she wants to preach in the grow group." I kept that in my head. A few days later, I went to pray for another brother's house. They are going to move to that house. I prayed for it, she has a 12-year-old adolescent. When I see her around the house, praying for the house, I said, "But look, she is praying with even more power than the pastor. She was rebuking and doing things." Do you know what that is? That we are doing something right in our homes, something right in the church. Our young people are rising as a generation that knows and respects the presence of God. It is at home that children will learn to love, to respect, to value the presence of the Lord. Now, there are people who have neglected their homes and left the house without rules. Everyone does what they want. Beware of this. My house cannot be a market without rules, where everyone arrives at the time they want, where everyone does what they want, where everyone brings into the house whatever they want. No, sir, the house is a... what? Your house is a sanctuary. Your house is a holy place. If you bring darkness into your house, don't expect your children to be light. If you bring darkness into your family, don't expect your family to shine. If you bring darkness into your marriage, don't expect your marriage to be light. Oh, we are so bad. What am I doing wrong? If I am wrong, I am doing something wrong. Dear church, do not let your house be manhandled by anyone. David said, "No, there will be no lack of integrity in my house. There will be no sin in my house." David stood firm to say that in his palace where he lived, he would live with integrity, that he would not let the influence of the surroundings come to harm him. Pastor, are you telling me that the home is a sanctuary? Yes, sir. But here comes a very telling reality. If the home is a sanctuary, the pastors of that space are the parents. I am saying that this house becomes a sanctuary, that God's presence is here, and in every sanctuary there is a priest, in every sanctuary there is a pastor. Who is it? The father and the mother. And here there are fathers and mothers who are behaving worse than the children. There are parents who fight more than the siblings themselves. There are families that are broken and shattered, but they pray, quote unquote. It's not about a ritual of prayer; it's about a life with God, where God lives in my life, but also lives in my house, where there are rules in my house. Again, where there are rules in my house, where there are regulations in my house, where there is order in my house. A house must be formed this way if I understand that it is a sanctuary, a place where God has destined to send His blessing. And who should care for the home? If they are the pastors, the parents, then the parents must care for their home, they must be alert. Be careful who is in the house, who arrived at the house, parents who install cameras, who are attentive, who are... Of course, the house must be cared for at all levels, pastor. And one distrusts everyone. Today I give you the advice, distrust everyone. But it's my dad, distrust everyone, because every human being has hidden weaknesses. Every human being has vices they haven't confessed. Every human being has things in their head that they have to take to Christ every blessed day. Therefore, the only one you will trust blindly is called Christ. But pray for the father, pray for the grandfather, pray for the brother-in-law, but protect your home, protect your children, protect your daughters, protect your family. Trust in Christ and guard your family. Father who listens to me, mother who listens to me, defend your family. There are people who have handed their children over to a caregiver and don't even ask the children how the caregiver treats them. You cannot turn a deaf ear when your child tells you something that sounds strange, because parents are the shepherds of their children. Pastor, I will take care of who enters my house. Not only take care of who enters your house, but what enters your house. What music enters your house? What element? No, I bought this in India, and the Indian did it, and I'm going to put it next to the Bible, this vase. I don't want contaminated things to enter my house. No, it's that I'm into the esoteric, and I do yoga. Walking around with a mat like a fool, up and down with that, man. Aren't you ashamed? Over there on the beaches, kneeling with... Oh, no, no, no. Oh, it's that I like to meditate. Nothing better than meditating on the word, on prayer, meditating on God's presence, meditating on His grace, meditating on His love, but don't open the door to garbage in your house. Be careful with the books that enter the house. Be careful with the subscriptions you have. Be careful, sometimes we are taking it too lightly. Let's ask ourselves, what is entering my house? If what enters forms, if what enters also leaves, what is entering my house? Is it feeding or damaging the atmosphere of my house? A study terrified me, saying that in today's technological world, a 16-year-old has seen approximately 150,000 scenes of violence in his mere 16 years. 150,000 scenes. And you are letting more of that enter your house, buying violent video games for your children, buying video games that teach your child to kill, to attack, to harm. Okay. I tell you this as a pastor from a spiritual perspective, and I tell you this as a mental health professional. That damages your children's minds. Now I'm being a pastor again. That damages the environment and the atmosphere of your house. How is it possible that you give your child one of those devices to play indiscriminately? Take care of it. It's Saturday today, it could be Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, but there is a rule in the house, because I already told you, it's not like a market without rules, there are rules. It's that the children don't like it. Be careful that by making your children laugh, life doesn't make them cry later. It hurts, it will hurt the children. It's that I want my children to be happy. That is not happiness; that is pleasure from entertainment. A child in time will thank you for not abandoning them to their desires. Pastor, what do you mean? Let me explain it again. Abandoning a child is not just throwing them on the street. There are people who have abandoned their children because they gave them a cell phone, they gave them a device, and they abandoned them to their fate, abandoned them to whatever they saw, abandoned them to whatever they have. Your child will regret that when they are 20 or 30 years old and will look at you as a father who abandoned them, a 7-year-old child who didn't know how to handle that and needed a father, a mother who would draw the line and say, "No, son, not that, because your life and your house have been given to me by God to later give an account." At 30 years old, when you set rules, the child will hug you and smile and say, "Dad, I still remember that time. Thank you because you set rules, you set law," and you will laugh and lift your eyes to the Lord and say, "Blessed sermon that day that taught me that my house is not a market, my house is a sanctuary." Your house is not a dumpster for everyone to throw their garbage. Your house is a sanctuary. My time is up, but the second thing so that it remains at least in your mind. Number two, my house is a place. What? Second letter of John says, "If anyone comes to you and does not teach this truth, do not receive him into your house." When it says, "Do not greet him," it's not that you don't even give him a greeting. What it meant was that when someone greeted, they would greet very effusively, wash their feet, that indicated welcome to the house. The Lord says, "No, don't even wash their feet, don't give hugs or kisses, better continue on your way." Why? Because you are going to open something that will cause harm. Do not receive him into your house or greet him, because if you receive him, you become accomplices of his evil deeds. Not just anyone should go, and even less live in my house. Did I make myself understood? Not just anyone can enter, and even less can anyone live in my house. It is a reserved place, and a house, it is one thing to visit it, another thing is to open the intimacy of my house. When the house lacks spirituality, the house becomes like a greenhouse. Greenhouses have temperature controls. For the plants to grow and bear fruit and produce vegetables, a greenhouse without proper controls starts to grow weeds, what shouldn't grow grows, and what is being planted doesn't grow because there is no control, no correct temperature. That happens in the house. When your house does not have the correct regulations, things start to grow that shouldn't grow, and what you want to grow doesn't grow. Am I giving entry to the incorrect? Am I giving entry to incorrect people? Pastor, why should I care who enters my house? Because every person who goes to your house leaves a mark. Whoever entered your house entered with what they had inside. I cannot let my house be contaminated. There are employees who should not be allowed into the house. There is someone who one day I saw him doing some work for me, and I said, "This person, no." I saw him speaking bad words, and I said, "Don't let him come in, let him do his work outside. Bring him water, bring him soda, bring him food." Of course, but not inside. He is a man who, with discernment, I would not want to enter my house. Why? Because the house, I repeat, is a place that God has reserved for it to be a sanctuary for Him and for your family. Dear church, do not allow the peace of your home to be contaminated by the perversion that others bring. Do not let your house be altered because someone else comes and brings their poison or their garbage to the house. It's nice to have a beautiful house. It's nice to have a beautiful house on the outside. But I must also have it beautiful on the inside. You cannot live happier outside than in the house. If that is happening, something must be done today. If I feel happier outside than inside, if I feel happier sitting with friends talking, of course, take your time, take your space, laugh, but don't tell me you enjoy being outside more than being here inside. Pastor, and how do I achieve that? This beautiful house you see, I am going to transform it. Let it go from being a house to a sanctuary. Today you entered with the house without this, without the cross. Today you will leave with the house saying, "My house is a sanctuary, and I will make it respected as a sanctuary of God for mine." Did someone say something this morning? Your house will no longer be a place of pain, a place of fighting, a place of sadness. May my house be a sanctuary. Whoever enters your house is entering your life. Whoever enters your house enters with everything he or she has. And of course, we are not going to discard anyone. Now I'm not going to go and throw the father-in-law out of the house. "You get out of here." No, no, no, no. We don't discard anyone. We love them, we care for them, but we are going to develop the correct discernment. Look at what the initial verse said. I will not let myself be influenced by them. Those... Who, who is the influencer of your house? Netflix. Ask yourself, who is the influencer of your children? Reality shows, those you are watching. Who is influencing the minds and emotions of our family? A telenovela, a series. Let the Holy Spirit fill our house and our home. And I want to close and conclude the message with this. My house must be the door to heaven for my family. And beware of this. Be careful, there are many enemies disguised as visitors and even as family. There are many enemies who have a disguise called visitor, others have a disguise called family. Not all, but learn to discern who does you good and who does not do the family good, because your house will not be the door to hell. If a child is lost, it will not be because I opened the door of perdition in my house. If someone in the family strays, it will not be because the door of wickedness was opened in my house. Our house will always have a door that leads to heaven, and the word will be fulfilled that says, "You and your household will be saved."
