Look, it's right there. That's not a warrant. Yeah, it is.
Watch as this off-duty cop was so terrified of the camera that he had to make up his own laws just to get this Uber driver to stop recording. But the driver had other plans.
"Audio and video recording in progress."
"Absolutely."
"Do you know that's still an invasion of privacy?"
"I'm not even lying."
"It's not. There's no expectation of privacy inside this."
"They changed that law."
"No. They changed it back in 2017. You know why I know that? 'Cause I'm a police officer. It's illegal for you to video report, audio report me right now without my consent."
"I don't need your consent. I I posted a warning on the door. Look, it's right there."
"That's not a warning."
"Yeah, it is."
"Regardless of you having that warning, you still need my consent."
"Obviously, I don't have your consent."
"Are you going to turn me into this Uber ride?"
"Just take a second."
"Nope. Please get out of the vehicle."
"Did [music] you issue me a refund?"
"I can't issue you a refund."
"Did I pay for a service and not receive a service?"
"That is between you and Uber. I am an independent contractor and I'm not an employee of Uber. [music] I choose when and where to complete rides. I was not comfortable completing this ride. I'm asking you to leave [singing] my vehicle and that is 100% within my right. [music] You are trespassing in my vehicle."
