And all that [Music] [Applause] [Music] stuff. Thank you, Jesus. So glad to be with you tonight. Is this okay? I don't know. Keep it talking. Keep it talking. Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad. Hello, Mr. Bush. How are you? I voted for you. Thank you. Everything sounds great to me. It's okay. We ought to give our sound people a big hand. They just great job they [Music] do. Amen.

Being in a sound booth is like working in hell's kitchen. The only thing worse than being in a sound booth, and I don't want to be insulting, but is to be in the music department. And I'll tell you why in just a minute. Because, well, I'll tell you right now, cuz nobody's ever told you this because nobody knows it. I know it. You are hell's replacement for a former employee who got fired. [Music] Hey, glory.

If I understand this Bible right, Lucifer was the anointed cherub that coverereth. In English, that means he was in charge of God's holiness and over his throne. And he was in charge. Sit down a second. I'll just talk for a minute till I find out where I want to go. And uh and he was in charge of music as far as I know. Now you brethren, you can correct me, but later there's only three archangels that I can find reported anywhere in 66 books of the Bible. Three archangels that are named three. Michael, Gabriel, Lucifer. Now, now hear me cuff because I'm going to mess with your Mississippi mind right now. And all three of them have a category that they're in charge of. Lucifer was in charge of praise and worship. Gabriel is the messenger angel. Michael is the war angel. He's the defender of the nation of Israel yet to happen. Now, now, now watch what I'm trying to show you. These three guys fill the whole purpose of heaven and impact of earth. So you have singing and praise. Wonderful job. Gabriel bring you a message. And then in a few minutes, Michael's going to show up and he's the one who's going to declare war and everything that's against you. So, so my, this church is exciting. Sit, sit down here just a second. You're going to wear the crease out of your pants. Hold on. Sit down. So, so, brethren, here's what I want to tell you that just challenged Mississippi because I may never pass this way again. So, you need to hear this. Every church service that we have from here on needs to push and pursue towards the three aspects of that. Your church needs to have sing and praising and worshiping. Your chie your church needs to have a message from God. Here we go. And here's where we got a little problem. And then you have to have a demonstration. And that's the ministry of Michael. He's the war angel. Praise God.

I'm honored. I'm very, very honored to be with you. Thank you for letting me come. I don't I don't uh traverse the territory very much in Mississippi, and I got nothing against it. Brother Craft was one of my greatest friends for many, many years, but I just don't preach a lot in Mississippi. Nevertheless, you are a tremendously unknown secret. Wow. Good golly, Miss Molly. Man, what a group. This is one of the first churches I've been to in years that 90% of the church smiles and everybody in the choir smiles. I've always had a problem with Pentecostal people that turn around and go to shake your hand like a dead wet noodle and just say, "I'm so glad you're here. Whatever you have, I don't want it." Because if you say you're saved and the joy of the Lord's your strength, you need to tell your face. When I think of the goodness of Jesus, hey, and all that he said for me, my soul cries out, hallelujah. Thank God for saving me. Oh, I know I'm not everything I want to be and I ought to be, but you ought to see where I came from and how far I've come. Why don't you look at someone next to you and just say, "If you think you're going to hold me hostage with your look, you better move." That devil is a liar. You think you're going to stare me down, man? You got a brain transplant on the way. That ain't going to happen. I know where I came from. I know what God's done for me. I know where I'm going. And I know who's in love with me. Oh, praise God.

While while you remain standing and the rest of you if you can stand. If it's if it's hard for you to stand up because of a health condition or something, please don't feel bad about just stay seated. But I want to read a couple of portions of scripture in your hearing. Okay? You don't mind? I uh I I uh I'm usually flown in and brought in so I can ring the bell. And in the last year or two, the Lord has kind of hidden the clapper. And so I'm just kind of stumbling along. But so I want to read a just a couple of portions of scripture. The Gospel of John, chapter 3. And while we're turning there, thank you, pastor. Thank you for my wonderful taxi camp man, brother Kirk. Thank you so much for picking me up and being so kind to me. The room is beautiful. And everybody, I've never seen so many ushers and usheretses in my life. You've got more servants in this house than at my last funeral I went to. Everywhere I went, open the door. Could I carry a Bible? Could I What in the world? Somebody's teaching. Okay, look. We got to go. I'm already tired. My Garrett is not going to catch up. So, we got to go. John 3:16, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent out his son. Now, I'm not the First Baptist church, and this may sound like it. We ought to preach a lot of John 3:16. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned. And he that believeth not is condemned already because he's not believed in the name of the only begotten son. John 16. John 16 and verse 7. Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It's expedient for you that I go away. For I go not away. The comforter will not come unto you. But if I depart, I'll send him unto you. And when he's come, he'll reprove the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. I just taken one portion of scripture of sin because they believed not on me, the gospel of Hebrews, chapter 3, verse 12. Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God. Verse 19. So we see they could not enter in because of unbelief. Let us therefore fear lest a promise being left us of entering into his rest. Any of you should come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached as well as unto them. But the word preached did not profit them not being mixed with faith.

Okay. Now, you shouted about all you need to, and I'm and I'm going to just talk to you. And I want to talk to you on the subject, what does God really want from me? What does God really want from me? Father, bless the ministry of the word and help me to preach like a house of fire. I pray you'd loose the power of angels into the house and the gifts of the spirit to operate. We need folks healed tonight and delivered and set free. We need people to receive the Holy Ghost. We need people to repent. We need folks to just make a new level of consecration. I pray that you'd help every one of us to be honest in Jesus name. And everybody said, "Amen." You may be seated.

What does God really want? I think that could be the $64,000 question because all the denominations and all the movements and all the people that say they believe this that and the other and they've heard from God and they say this is what God wants that what God wants and this is what God wants. But but I'm going to talk to you real real basic and you should be able to really receive this. I'm not going to make it hard for you. What does God really want? First, God wants us to enjoy him. And and I think one of the tragedies of the apostolic Pentecostal realm is that that uh we enjoy church, but we don't really enjoy God. We we enjoy the hick hookah boom. We enjoy the shake, rattle, and roll. We enjoy the loud noise. We we enjoy the vibration. We enjoy the feeling and the emotion. And I think we should. But uh I think really think God wants us to get to know him and that we would just enjoy him. It's hard for me to believe anybody could have a good marriage that didn't enjoy their husband or wife. Well, I see a lot of these wives going some of you men are sitting here and you don't do nothing because you want to blow your cover. Yeah. That Yeah. God.

What does God really want? You must understand that all successful people want something. The person that's in business wants a good product. Wants efforts and methods that produce worth and power and and and and profit. The aging of America want better health and they want provision to take care of their medicines and all their stuff and coaches that coach ball games and teams. They they want winning teams. And I wish I could get a little witness here just for a sec. I realize it's not dynamic, but it maybe you don't understand how this works. Let let me help you. I realize I look like a college professor, but I am not. But I did go to college, and while I may look ignorant, I'm not as ignorant as I look. I can spell and talk and do all kinds of stuff. And when I went to the universities, we went in and they what they would do is they would lecture to us. Now, you must understand, we got to get rid of this thing. Now, this is not a collegiate lecture hall. I may look like a prof, but I'm not a prof. Okay? And see, when we went to college, they sat there or we sat there and we just looked at the professor. He doesn't give a flip whether you learn or not. He gets paid anyway. But, but I but but I'm not a prof. And so, we could sit there for a long time and just stare a hole in him. He'd talk for two hours and we'd do our homework. And maybe we wouldn't. We go home, he goes home. He could care less about it. But see, this is not a lecture. See, this is this is preaching, teaching, uh, evaluating the the the worth of your soul, the the logistics of your spirit. And so, the way it works in a church house is, see, I speak and then you respond. See, when you're in school, you don't respond. You sit there with your finger up your nose. They don't care what you do. But you see, in the kingdom of God, you you you're supposed to say something like, "Amen." Amen means it's even so. Well, well, let's practice for a minute. God is good and he's kind and he's great and he's wonderful and he's in this house and he's on my side. See, that's Hey, that's how it work. Because if I preach or they sing and you begin to say amen and respond, you create an atmosphere that is conducive to the miraculous and the supernatural and the deliverance of God's power. You me seated? Let me just try again. I don't want to be rude to you folks sitting over here in the cheap seats. Let me help you for a minute. Now, now my philosophy in Pentecost is different than the rest of them. I think it ought to be dangerous for somebody to sit next to you. You ought to dance on somebody's blue suede shoes. You ought to knock their wig off their head. You ought to slap them. When I think of the goodness of Jesus, when I think that my name's written in the Lamb's book of life, when I know that no devil can separate me from the love of God and no weapon formed against me shall prosper. You think I'm going to sit there and just stare? You're out of your mind. [Applause] Why don't you turn by someone and say, "You better give me some room. I'm fixing to act up." Honey, I'm tell you what. If preaching can't bring you out, praise and worship can bring you out. You may be locked up in a jail like Paul and Silas, but if you begin to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, there's no telling what God might [Applause] [Music] do. Oh, [Music] hallelujah. Oh, you be seated. You be seated. You be seated. You know, a fly only lands on a cold stove. You know, a buzzard only picks on the meat of stuff that don't move. There's a spirit floating in the air waiting to find some carcass that's just sitting. But if you can just go, "Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah." If you can if you could just lift up your voice like a trumpet and say, "Well, I'm not everything I need to be, but I'm a lot better than I used to [Applause] be. It is joy unspeakable, and it is full of glory. And greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world." There's no reason to be intimidated or held hostage by anybody or anything. Please be seated. Please be seated. You're very kind. Listen to I'm not trying to I'm not trying to get a a wrestling match going here where you're screaming and yelling and go-karting and stuff. That's not what I'm trying to say. But I just want to fight that spirit that's all over Pentecost that that seems to say in their little way, you know, well, you know, it ain't all in the shout. Let me answer that dirt bag. No, it ain't all the sit and staring either. The Bible said, "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Serve the Lord with gladness. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving. into his courts with praise. Be thankful and bless his [Applause] name. I don't care if you got a bunch of shortcomings in your life. I don't care if you just came out of a divorce. I don't care if you just had an affair. Don't let that stuff hold you back. There is a throne of grace that you are welcome at. [Applause]

You you didn't sit down. Just bear with me, okay? I'm just trying to find my bearings. Just bear with me for a sec. So, now that we know that this is not a college lecture, you now then have to learn and understand that that you we're talking about the sons of God. Uh let me tell you, you are the offspring of a speaking God. Now you the microphone must have been up. You are the offspring of a God who talks and a God who speaks and a God who declares and a God who releases life and power and energy out of his mouth. For the book said life and death is in the power of the tongue. Oh god, I'm fixing to flip out on you. I'm going to lose it here in just a few minutes. So So you you can sit down, stand up, do what you want. So when I ask you to make a joyful noise, I'm not trying to wake you up like we're at a wrestling match. I'm just trying to ask you to just Would you mind acting like your father? Because when God wanted to do something, he opened his mouth. And when God wanted to create, he opened his mouth. And when God wanted to give a resurrection, he opened his mouth. And you are made in the image and likeness of God. It's not right not to open your mouth. Hallelujah. Please, please be seated, Reverend. I don't mean to cause no trouble for you, okay? I I just I'm just visiting here. You can ignore me all you want to. Now, I don't mean to be rude, but I was famous before I got here. I'll be famous with or without your applause. Cuz I don't work for Pentecost. I No, I don't. I know who my boss is. I know where my bread is buttered. I know where the river of life flows from. And I can get through an episode that ain't good and I still got the victory. You can be seated. I just I'm trying to get to where I need to go, but feel like the Lord read my notes and was unimpressed. It's kind of like, you know, so now that we know that we're not in a university setting, Shame on us. And if you go, that's your business. Shame on us. I come from Gatorland. I was in the airport today having almost a coronary arrest because the whole airport turned orange and blue because the Gators just won the national championship and now they're leaving for the Big Four basketball thing. And I mean, the airport officials were there and the police were there and they were screaming and yelling and I'm the old prude. And I said, 'What's going on here? The Gators are going to the big four and the Gators of the She says, "You live in Gainesville and you're not a Gator?" I said, "No, I'm a Jesus [Applause] fan. I was lost. I was done. I had no hope. I was out of options. But the master reached down and snatched me out and wrote my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. put my feet on the rock and told me to run on. I'm a Jesus fan. Hey, you know, you'd be seated. Yeah. I'm sorry. You'd be s I don't mean to be rude. Okay. I mean, I'm I'm sitting at airport with with orange and blue and whistling and balloons and screaming and every time one of these 6'6, 6'8 basketball guys come lunking by with his drawers hanging down halfway down here. And you know, if a cop chased that sucker, he'd get arrested. He couldn't run. I was born in New York City, man. You got to have your stuff up to run, pal. Now, I I'm sorry to be rude, but I'm telling you all that to let you know that that one thing that God wants from us is not to give into the spirit of intimidation that is in this world. I don't care what the world says. Sports is not God. TV is not God. Hollywood is not God. Sex is not God. Drugs is not God. The White House is not God. The United Nations is not God. But I know a God who lives inside of you. If you have the Holy [Applause] Ghost, and if there's anybody that needs to be praised and yelled and whistled about, it's Jesus [Applause] S. cuz he brought us out and he's going to take us through and he's going to take us there. You can sit down. I don't mean to hurt you, offend you, nothing. Just I'm I'm trying to get a point one here. You are the offspring of a speaking God. Now, now let me give you the illustration. Jesus is in a boat. Mark 4. Okay, come on. All you preachers say, "Right, I'm I'm going to go a little further. I may never be back." Fine. I wouldn't worship with a preacher that won't worship. I wouldn't even listen to a preacher that preaches that won't at least clap their hands and say, "Hallelujah." We are supposed to lead by precept and we are supposed to lead by example. I want you to shout. I'm going to shout. I want you to get excited. I'm going to get excited. This is not a lecture. Please, please be seated for just a minute. I'll try to get to my message here in a second. Now, you got to get this. Mark 4. Jesus just told those guys, "Let's get in the boat. We're going to the other side." Now there is a revelation that most of us miss. Anytime the boss says you're going to end up somewhere, don't let the process drive you out of your mind. He said we are going to the other side. So you see when see Jesus is see Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. But before he got here when he was gone in the Old Testament the invisible God that spoke out of the cloud and the thunder and the lightning. You understand something? God ain't like us. You see, when we do a story, we start with a thought. We have a beginning, a middle, and an ending. Not God. When God gets ready, he starts at the end and works backwards. You're not hearing me declaring the things that are not as though they were. So when God tells you you're going to heaven, you can rest assured no matter what kind of hell you go through, he's already wrote the end of the story, there's going to be a marriage supper. There's going to be a rapture. There's going to be a translation in the church. We're going to the city. It doesn't matter how much crud and junk and trash we got to deal with. The boss said we're going here. [Applause]

Before you're seated, would you just turn and look at someone and say, "Hey, pal." I win. I win. Sit down and say, "Am I making sense yet?" You You understand? So, you understand? God always starts at the end of the story and works back. Why? Well, first place, he owns time. [Music] You see, I enjoy living and working for God because the United States government prints paper. My dad makes gold. The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof, and they that dwell therein. Watch this. All the fish in the sea are mine. All the fowl in the heavens are mine. All the cattle and the creeping things are mine. Haggi, the silver is mine. The gold is mine. All the precious things in the earth are mine. And we are his. Don't worry about the American economy. It's going to go bust after a while anyway. But you've got a treasury that you've got access to. [Applause] We're not going to get much done here if you don't calm down. So, so, so you understand? He starts the end from the beginning. You think I'm kidding you? I don't I don't want this rated X or R for runchy. I want it rated P for plain. Watch. He starts from the end, works back. He calls Abraham father of faithful and a father of the multitude and calls his wife Sarah a mother of many nations. She ain't pregnant. Time don't bother you're dead. I have called you a father of many nations. I don't care how long it takes me to get you there. The issue is over. Now, you don't get it yet. I've called you the bride of Christ. I've called you the body of Christ. I've called you the house of God. I've called you the building of God. I've called you the temple of the Holy Ghost. I don't care what you go through. I don't care how many times you fall down. I'm going to pick you back up. Rejoice not against me, oh my enemy. When I fall, I shall arise. And when I sit in the darkness, the Lord shall be my light. You You be seated. Now, please, brethren, just don't get mad at this. Now, you got to understand something. God See, one of the greatest ways you can get a good grip on life is to go for a walk with God. See, and and and Abraham went for a walk with God. See, he's he's all upset. You know, this guy, Elie Azar, he's he's going to he's the steward of my house. He's going to he's going to inherit everything. And God said, "No, no, let me take you for a walk." And he take I love the way God does stuff. You see, God knows that we are so prone towards imagery, towards the optical. So he turns around. He says, "Now I know right now you ain't got no bambinos. You ain't got no bubblers. There's no crib in your tent. I understand that. But I'm going to make you and your wife be extremely productive. And out of your loins are going to come princes and kings and nations. And from you will come even the Christ because it he'll be the seed." So but I know it's hard for you to believe my words because my words are just toned. Tell you what I'll do. I'll give you an object lesson. Take a look at the heavens. Start counting. 746,245 9,743,000. And he says, "Can you count them?" He said, "No." He said, "So shall thy seed be." That's the church, God's heavenly people. So when you're in your nighttime, look above you. And if that doesn't help for you, when you go to bed at night and you lay your head on the ground, start trying to count the sands. So shall thy seed be. That's the Israelis. He's got no baby. She's not pregnant. But Abraham believes God. Now wait a minute. I'm trying to get to my sermon. What does God want from us? Simple. He just wants you to believe him. I know that's too simplistic for us, but that's the battle. He said, "People are going to be lost because they don't believe in me. The Holy Ghost is going to come and reprove people because they don't believe in me." Now, don't get mad, brethren. Pastor, just hold on to your hat. We make performance such an issue in Pentecost. I'm here to tell you, performance is not a big issue with God as it is with us. Your sin even isn't even a big issue with God. And when I say sin, I mean your failures, your mistakes, your lust, your vanity, your imagery, your visions, your pride, things you say, things you feel, the things that somehow disqualify you from being in the choir or being an usher. They are not the big offense to God because he shed blood for that. If you confess your sin, he's faithful and just to forgive you. And the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from don't get nervous. So listen now. Let let me talk to you for a minute. I'm not saying we walk out of here like like a bunch of whoreongers and rob and cheat and steal and care. No, no, no, no. Behavior is important to God, but that's not the main issue. The main issue is unbelief. Cuz ain't nothing can help you with unbelief. That's right. Blood takes care of sin. Grace takes care of mistakes and failures. But unbelief leaves you alone. Unbelief leaves you outside. Oh, I haven't forgotten my story. I haven't forgotten it. He's in the boat. I know where I am. Mark 4. He's in the boat. Told you I just look stupid. I'm not stupid. He's in the boat. He says, "Let's go to the other side." Read the story. It's interesting. It says, "A storm comes up." Always does. Anytime you get ready to go where God told you to go, you ready? He turns around and says, "You write this one down. Uh, preacher, write this one down. This will preach good." Ready? He's asleep on a pillow. And the theological question is from Mississippi is where do you get the pillow? Who in their right mind goes fishing and brings books? Who in their right mind goes fishing and brings a pillow to sleep on? Doesn't it frustrate you when your God sleeps during your storm? Now, this is powerful. I'm I'm fixing to flip out on you. This is powerful. And the and the waves are rocking and I I'm assuming they're puking their guts out and holding on to the bait bucket and they're scared half to death. They're professional fisherman. Boy, the storm is raging. And and Jesus is just cutting some Z's. How can he sleep when I'm in trouble? Real easy. What bothers you don't bother him. But if you get desperate and start telling him about what bothers you, he'll wake up and get involved. [Applause] Yeah. Here's I'll teach you how to pray. This take you years to go to college to learn. We can do it tonight in 10 seconds. Here's how you pray when you're in trouble. Hey Jesus. [Applause] God's not impressed with verbiage. You're not going to move deity by saying, "Oh, thou is the most highest and loveliest goddess who dwelleth between the cherubams, who dwells in a cloud that no man can approacheth, thou that knowest all the secret." And God is sitting there going, Would you would you cut through the fluff here? What what what are you needing here? And thou that redeemst mankind by thy loving kindness and thou who art holy and I can imagine God just going get a load of this and somebody on the corner that has no degree, no education, no theology, half their stuff is wrong. They say help. And God says, "Got to go." Because the Bible said, "Oh, thou that hearest the cry of the afflicted, he hears the cry of the afflicted." [Applause]

Can I preach a few more minutes? Let me just please sit down. Just I I got I don't know how far I'm going to get. Okay, watch. You folks in the cheap seats are doing good. You ready? He's sound asleep. They're scared half to death. Bible says they run over and wake him up. Now, for years, I used to thought, "Boy, you people are stupid, man." But now I'm getting older. I'm thinking, "Boy, you guys are smart." You know why? It says they wake them up and say, "Careest thou not that we perish." I used to think that was so stupid. Then it hit my brain about three months ago. He says, "What did they expect him to do? That was a tremendous act of faith." I used to think it was just a panicky of fear. Oh no, it was faith. They can't do nothing about weather patterns. They can't do no. And they got this guy sleeping and said, "Carest thou not that we perish?" As if to say, you know, you could take care of this. If you would get involved, you could take care of this. Let me try it again. God, you could take care of this. You can touch my daughter. You can bring back my children. You can get them off drugs. You can take them out of the world. You can take You could take care of this. When you ask God in your desperation, even if you're full of fear, it's still talked taken to him as an act of faith. Sit down just another minute. I'm almost there. Now, you got to watch this. This I told you in the beginning, you're the offspring of a speaking God. What? Watch him in action. Carest thou not that we perish? Now, watch this. You're going to have to use your imagination in Mark 4. I got the microphone. I'm going to tell you how I see it. Okay? And Jesus being awakened from a deep sleep bolts towards the front of the boat. Cut it out. [Applause] And you know what the water said? And you know what the wind said? That's the boss. That's the creator. That's the master. We recognize that voice. When he opens his mouth, there ain't no debate about anything. Yeah, give me just a few minutes. Okay. Yeah. Did you get it? Can we go a little further? Write it down. Here's what it says in the Greek. It says in the King James English. Remember, peace, be still. That's a good translation. But that's not what it says in the Greek. In the original Greek, it says these words. Be thou muzzled. And I read that and I said, "What does that mean?" And then the commentator said, "Oh, it's the declaration of a superior speaking to an inferior expecting obedience." That's why I said creation said, "Uh-oh, that's the creator. That's the one who caused us. We w I'm telling you right now, whatever you're dealing with, whatever is driving you crazy, whatever is holding you hostage, ask God to open his mouth and speak to that [Applause] thing. That's why we are the children of a speaking God. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. If you've got the Holy Ghost, you've got God in your body. Open your mouth and tell that thing to shut its mouth. Tell it to stop tormenting you. Tell it to get away from you. Talk to that spirit of fear. God has not given us a spirit of fear. But of love and power and a sound mind, you've got the right to talk to that faith. Why would you let the devil talk to you and fear talk to you and immorality talk to you and anger talking to you and then you not talk back [Music] you you you didn't sit down. I'm sorry. Didn't mean to didn't mean to bore you. See, you don't you're not getting it yet, Rufus. It's This Jesus is so powerful. If he walks through a graveyard and doesn't keep his mouth shut, he's going to have a resurrection. But just sit down for we'll just write this service off for a better one next time. Okay, watch this. It's so powerful. All my preaching life and all my young convert life, I've always heard about the great miracle of Lazarus. How Jesus spoke in John 11 said, "Lazarus, come forth." And what a miracle that was. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Contrary to we always say in Pentecost that you know if you don't have faith you can't get anything from God. That's not so. And you don't have to invite me back. I know what I'm talking about. I know that faith without faith you can't please God. I understand that. But wait a minute. When your faith is absent and your faith is low, I can prove to you from the scripture that God will accept something less than faith and transform it into faith. Yeah. Just sit there. You don't know. This sucker's a heretic right now. Yeah. I'll prove it to you. Remember in John 2 verse 11 when he asked the servants to fill the jugs with water when they ran out of wine? There's no act of faith in that first place. They don't know what he plans on doing. He just said, "Go fill the pots full of water." Watch. So God, when your faith is not up to it, he will accept an act of obedience. [Music] When you don't feel like you got no faith, just do it because he said do it. Just believe it because he said to believe it. Even if you don't feel like you got any kind of faith to get it done. Can I go a little further? Sit down. We're We're almost done. Watch this. Exceedingly bad. bad news. Now, first place here, if you got a you're writing notes to preach, you need to write this down. With God, condition doesn't count. Only with church people, it counts. With God, he don't care how scared it is, how dead it is, and how long it's been that way. He can give you a miracle in the midst of your latest graveyard. I tried and I failed. Try again. I tried and it didn't work out. Try again. Keep getting up. Keep asking God cuz you never know when God boom will just speak into your situation and turn the whole thing around. No. Please, please, please be seated. Just step. Hey, please be seated and stay seated for at least five minutes. You ready? He says to the prophet Ezekiel, "Son of man, can these bones live?" He must have been a Pentecostal preacher because Pentecostal preachers always guard their response. "Can these bones live, preacher?" Watch this. "Thou knowest." I can see God saying, "You dumb schmo. Of course I know. If I'm God, of course I know, you dummy. I want to know is do you believe these bones can live?" You know what he said when he said, "Thou knowest." Here's what Ezekiel said. Lord, to be honest with you, I ain't got the faith for this. Well, you know, when you tell God that, God says, "I can deal with that. It's this lion. It's this mask wiring. It's this facade. It's this fakery. It's this make believe that ticks him off. You think he's gonna fall off his throne because you've committed adultery or had a baby had a wedlock, you give me another break, will you? You think anytime you've said the dirtiest thing in your life and stole something, you think God goes, I couldn't believe she could have ever done that. You must be kidding. There's one thing God will never experience. Surprise. [Music] He knows the end from the beginning. Declaring the things that are not as though they were in your worst experience. In your biggest disaster, I promise you, grace was already there waiting to pick you back up. Mercy was already on its way to give you forgiveness. Don't you let the devil talk you out of your future. Your destiny is greater than your mistake. Please be seated. Didn't Didn't I ask them to keep seated? So, so he turns around. He says, "Lord, thou knowest." So God picks up and says, "Well, he don't have the faith for this, but he has a willing heart." Okay, I tell you what, let's work. We'll go a different formula. Ezekiel, watch this. Prophesy to the bones. See, anytime you get ready to do something for God, if it doesn't involve a risk, God's not in it. If you don't need something done impossible, you don't need God. You can get a politician. You can get a banker. You can get a therapist. You're not see. And I just hate the impossible. That's why it never happens in your life. I just hate it when it it just looks impossible. Looks can be deceiving. You see, if you attempt the impossible, God will show up with the invisible. [Music] Cuz if you and I can do it, and you and I can pay for it, and you and I can make it work, guess what? We're the savior. God loves to put people with their back up against the wall. He loves to trap us into a situation where we can't figure how to get out. It ain't about you getting out. It's about him getting [Applause] in. You let God in that lion's den. You let God in that fiery furnace. You let God in that dilemma. And he'll turn the thing around. Can I preach about five more minutes? Five more minutes. You can sit down. Watch now. Now, excuse me. You think I'm whacked? It's okay. I know I need therapy. I know that. It's okay. That's pro. No problem. He says, "Prophesy to the bones." Now, how would you feel if God saw it saying, "Well, being that you don't have faith, will you obey?" Yes, sir. Preach to dead stuff. I do it every Sunday. I preach to people who are professional mannequins. Their favorite song is none of these things move me. Well, you know, I'm not into all that emotion junk. I think it's crazy all that screaming and whistling. You're not into emotion. You've had kids, haven't you? You You do throw a fit once in a while when the car ain't working. I've seen you when you kick the cat. And I don't care what you tell these preachers. I watched you when you yelled about your favorite team doing well. [Music] You ain't got no emotion. The devil is a liar. No, what you have is selective emotion. I'm going to tell you right now, brethren, if you can't get excited about God, shame on you. If we're not excited about Calvary and the resurrection and the ascension and Pentecost and the soon coming of the Lord, my God, in heaven, what's happened to us? We're going someplace. He's coming to get us. We're going to have a new body. We're going to have a new world. We're going to have a new house. We're going to live forever. Sit. Sit down just a second. You understand something? that God does not have character. Listen to me chilling. He don't have character. I've heard preachers say, "Well, that's just the character of God." He ain't got character. Character is something that is developed by time, circumstance, and chance. God can't be developed. He came fullgrown. He ain't never going to get bigger. He ain't never going to get better. He ain't never going to get stronger. He ain't never going to get greater. He is the greatest right now. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the great I am. He is the rose of Sharon. He's the lily of the valley. He's the bright and the morning star. He's the root and the offspring of David. He is the one that has the keys of death, hell, and the grave. Woo! You ready for this? And he's on your side. [Applause] In fact, those of us that received the Holy Ghost, he's on your inside. [Applause] You by the new birth have become a son of God. You really are a child of the king. See, here's how you're going to get the victory in the next few days in your life. You're going to get the courage to start speaking to stuff that looks like it ain't listening. Oh yeah. Going talk to them kids and your kids going to have the back of their head to you. You're going to tell them not to wear that. Don't wear that. Don't go there. Don't watch that. Yeah. You know, the most terrifying word and disgusting word in all of Pentecost, and I don't know whether it's even a word. Maybe it's a sound. Here's the one that's the tormentor for my life. Here it is. I don't know what that means in Hebrew or Greek, but it seriously ticks me off when I'm trying to help somebody, especially a young person, and they just go put their hand on their hip and just kind of sash it. You want to say, "I'm going to give you a I'm going to beat you half to death and see if the resurrection will happen. Lay hands on no man suddenly. You ain't a man. You're a boy. See what I'm saying? Just just turn and someone just go there. Oh yeah. See, now they wouldn't have the courage to do it to you. Here's what they do in Pentecost. Because I pastor a very good church and it's full of really crazy people. Oh yeah, I got a few a few that are saved. The rest are just along think I'm kidding you. They just kind of come, throw their dollar in, wait, get the picture taken, go home. It's fine. But here's what they do in our church. They don't they wouldn't dare do this because it's my man. I'm against that like homosexuality, man. I got a problem with all that. That samesex marriage and all those. I got a that's Hold on. No, no, no, no. If you got a problem with that kind of stuff, God loves you. He just wants you to stop that junk. That's all. Cuz that's that's silly. You're You're better than that. That's crazy. But but in our church, they won't do this, brother. Brother Coy Hills, brother. No. Yes, Larry. Yeah. You're the one with the money. I love it. You know how they can tell they got the money? They act so surprised. Here, here's what they do in our church when when they get to acting like you sweet people and doing and just kind of booooing and shake rattling and roll and making up steps and doing moves. See, we have a bunch of young people in our church and I I still haven't learned how to do that moonwalk stuff, but they they get out do I don't know where that came from. That wasn't from the 50s and the 60s. I know. I knew how to dance in those days, but this they're making moves and I watch a whole section of them over here. Well, I realize some of it's worldly and some of it's spiritual, but I'd rather have them playing around in the house of God than in a wh house somewhere or out in a movie. As long as they're in the house, there's a chance of getting saved. as long as they're here. You never know when God might just take some of that foolishness away and make them the real deal. Don't get frustrated with your kids. Don't get frustrated with their emotions and their stuff. Just encourage them. You never know when God will put his hand on them. I'm trying I'm trying to finish, brethren. I'm trying to finish. Sit down here just a second. And so, so, so what I told him was, he says, "Prophesy the to the bones." Now, you don't think you feel stupid? Hear the word of the Lord, you old dry bones. See, sometimes you got to do stuff when you don't have inspiration. That's the curse of Pentecost.
