Right now, there is a market on track to reach $439 billion this year. And there's an adjacent one sitting at $214 billion. And there's a tool that lets anyone create and sell a product in this space. Let me explain.
There has never been more money flowing to people who can package what they know. And there has never been a smaller gap between knowing something and selling it. So, here is a question that a lot of people tend to look over. Who is going to actually build the courses for millions of experts who will never touch a camera, never write a script, and never figure out the software themselves? That's the agency that nobody is building. And in the next 12 minutes or so, I will show you exactly how it works using a real client that we did this for.
So, let me start with the proof. I would like to introduce you to Brian. He has 20 plus years of experience, zero dollars in course revenue, and that's not because his knowledge isn't valuable. He is literally one of the best in his field. But every time he tried to record, he'd freeze. And a couple of months ago, we shipped his first program. 12 modules, several hours of teaching, and he was never once on camera. And it's already out selling courses from creators with three times his following.
Now, here's the part that the creator economy does not want you to think about. Brian isn't unusual. There is actually a massive group of experts exactly like him. People with deep, valuable, often decades old expertise. These people could be making serious money from courses, programs, and training products. But they're not because the camera was the bottleneck. They just freeze. They'd rather leave four or five or six figures on the table than speak in front of one. And until very recently, there was no real solution. So they stayed invisible. I call them ghost experts. Their knowledge stayed locked and the entire creator economy got built around the people who happen to be comfortable on camera.
But that changed because AI changed what shipping a course actually requires. And right now in this exact window, there is an agency opportunity sitting wide open. Almost nobody's offering it. The experts who need it don't know it exists yet. And the AI tools that make it possible are finally mature enough to deliver real professional great results. That's the agency.
So, let me show you what it actually looks like. I believe the service is straightforward. You take an expert who can't or won't be on camera and you turn their knowledge into a finished branded video course. You use their voice, their likeness, their teaching. None of it requires them to perform. The whole production runs through an AI workflow that I'm about to walk you through step by step. And there's context that makes this real. HeyGen, one of the platforms inside this stack, went from 1 million to 100 million in ARR in about 30 months. They have over 85,000 customers and 230 plus avatars in 140 languages. That tells you that the infrastructure is past proof of concept. The bottleneck is no longer the technology. The bottleneck is who knows how to assemble it into a course that someone will actually pay for.
Which means there are four customer profiles ready to pay for this right now. All underserved in my opinion and all with budget.
Profile one, the expert who's done the work but prefers to stay off camera. That's Brian. Basically decades of experience, already charging premium rates one-on-one, has wanted a course for years but kept stalling because recording felt impossible. Tens of thousands of people in every industry. Once they see what you can deliver, the conversation is going to move pretty quickly.
Profile two, the course creator who needs to scale languages. Maybe they already have a course in English. Maybe they want it in Spanish and Portuguese and Mandarin and French and 10 or 20 other languages. Recording each one is impossible. First of all, because they probably don't speak all those languages, but with this stack, you deliver every language version in a week in their voice with their face. The economics of localization completely change for them and for you. And almost no one is productizing this yet.
Profile three, the business owner with internal training pains. We've worked with one onboarding videos that need updating constantly. SOPs that change every quarter. Training programs that get re-recorded every time someone gets promoted with an AI avatar production. They update once and the whole library re-flows. This is, I believe, the best kind of agency client. Recurring revenue, not one-time builds, and they have the budget.
And profile four, the expert in a regulated or camera averse field. About 77% of adults experience some level of public speaking anxiety and roughly one in 10 have it severely enough that it shapes their career choices. Now layer that on top of an industry where every word is reviewed by compliance. Financial advisors, doctors, lawyers, regulated coaches. These are people who have a body of experience the market really wants and a delivery format that the market makes nearly impossible. AI delivery solves this perfectly. Content is theirs. Performance there is the tool.
So you've got these four profiles. I believe none of them is well served but all of them with a budget. The agency that figures out how to deliver this at scale with a workflow that's locked in and repeatable is well positioned for the next 12 months in this category. And the good news is that the workflow is exactly what I'm about to show you.
Okay, so here's the workflow. The same one that we actually used to build Brian's course. The same one that your agency will use to deliver every client project. The hero tool in the stack is HeyGen. And a bit of context, we've been using HeyGen for Brian's course for weeks before their team reached out to us for this video. And when they asked if I'd walk you through the process, of course, I said yes immediately because the tool asking to work with us and partner for this video was the same tool that we actually shipped with. So, what you're about to see is not a demo. This is the real production system. I can't show you Brian's course for privacy and IP reasons, but I'll show you everything we've done for him.
So, step number one, you clone the client's voice and likeness with their full approval. You cannot do it otherwise. You need both video approval and assigned consent. The setup is simple. You film a two to three minute video of the client speaking naturally with their own gestures and facial expressions. You upload it to HeyGen and the client gives final approval and then HeyGen builds the avatar. Important call out for your agency model, however, is that HeyGen offers a standard and a premium avatar tier. For client work, anything paid, anything client-facing, the premium tier is, I believe, an upgrade that's worth making. The jump in gesture naturalness, the lip-sync accuracy is pretty significant. Viewers feel the difference in the first 30 seconds, even if they can't name what they're reacting to. So, it's the quality level that lets you charge agency pricing instead of competing on the bottom side of the market. Now, of course, for internal training or simple SOPs, the standard tier works perfectly. For anything revenue generating or client-facing, I believe premium is what protects the reputation of your agency.
Now, here's the part of the stack that decides whether your agency ships premium price courses or a bunch of AI slop. Because a cloned voice and a cloned face are worth nothing if the words coming out of them don't sound like a real teacher. And this is the part that a lot of AI thinkers and users get wrong. So, here's the thing about experts. The ones who've been doing something for 20 years, their knowledge isn't sitting in a neat document somewhere. It's probably buried in their reflexes, in the thousands of tiny decisions that they make without thinking anymore. I've seen this so many times. I worked with so many of them. And that's the problem with real expertise. When you ask a veteran to write down what they know, they skip a lot of the parts that matter most because to them, those parts are obvious.
So, you don't ask them to write it down. You use a system. Now over years of building videos and courses for our media agency clients, we actually developed an internal tool that we call the knowledge extractor. Originally it was built as a custom GPT and now it also runs as a cloud skill, but it basically focuses on one job. It pulls expertise out of an expert's head and turns it into something structured. So Brian started with a rough course outline with 12 modules and just one sentence. That was it. And then the extractor took it from there module by module. It uncovered what Brian actually wanted to teach. It asked the questions that a confused student would probably ask. It pushed back when Brian was being too vague. It pulled out the examples, the stories, the edge cases, the mistakes that he had seen clients make over and over and over again throughout his 20 years of experience. So basically, Brian never had to type a word. He just talked. He gave voice notes back and forth. I think it took about 1 hour in total. At the end, we had something priceless because Brian's entire curriculum was now fully externalized. It was no longer just the outline. We had the full walkthrough.
And then from there, AI wrote the modules pretty fast, really clean first draft. Every script pulled directly from Brian's own voice notes structured into teaching sequences in his exact voice. But this is where most people stop. And this is exactly why most AI generated courses sound like a chatbot wearing someone's face. You have to rework every single script by hand because you need punctuation, phrasing, pacing, breathing moments, where to emphasize a word, where to let a sentence land because the gap between AI writing and human teaching is in the pauses. AI doesn't pause. AI doesn't let a point breathe. Okay? It doesn't know when to slow down because the next sentence matters, but a teacher does. That is what we added back. We didn't bother with the content because it was not our area of expertise, but we did look into space, into rhythm, into emphasis, into intonation. So, if your agency skips this step, your client's viewer will notice it in probably 3 seconds. They can't name what they're reacting to, but they're going to feel it, and they will stop trusting the teacher before the first module ends. So by the end of this phase, we had 12 fully polished scripts. 2 and a half hours of teaching ready to go. Brian's cloned voice. We had his likeness already waiting in HeyGen.
So what did we do next? Okay, once we have all of this, we need to put it all together. Each module went into HeyGen one by one. Each one rendered as a separate video using Brian's avatar. But next, we used branded backgrounds. Across the 12 modules, we kept the look consistent. So the final course felt like Brian's product, not a pageant template. Okay? And I think this matters a lot, probably more than people realize because visual consistency is what makes a course feel professional rather than AI generated. And then we layered in text banners and icons. And this part I absolutely love and I honestly didn't really know that HeyGen had this feature when we started working with it, but it basically lets you upload your own branded icon set. So every onscreen reinforcement is able to match your client's visual system. For agency work, I think this is gold because every client course can feel completely white labeled. Your client sees their brand, not yours or agents.
And this is the feature that genuinely amazed me the first time I saw it. In every video editor that I had used, Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, iMovie, you usually edit the timeline. If you want to change a single line, you have to re-record, realign, recut, rerender. But in HeyGen, you edit the script. You change a line and the whole module re-flows. You don't have to recut or realign. So, if you've ever tried to update a course 6 months after the launch and had to rebuild the edit from scratch, you know what this means. For evergreen knowledge, this changes the economics of course creation entirely. For your agency, this is the margin protector. Because when clients request updates six months later, you ship them in minutes instead of days. Same thing for clients in regulated industries who need compliance updates baked into the content continuously. And the result basically from finished script to finished module, we were done in a few days. For context, our previous process was at least a week per module. With this stack, your delivery time per client drops by a factor of five or more.
So if you want to try HeyGen yourself, the link is going to be in the description. And a massive thank you to HeyGen for partnering with us on today's video.
Okay, so what actually happened when Brian launched? You might be wondering. Well, because this is the proof point that makes the whole agency play credible to your future clients. I think it's important that we talk about it. For 20 years, Brian had been one of the top people in his field. But with zero digital product revenue for 20 years, that knowledge stayed locked inside his one-on-one calls, 10 people a week at best. But now it scales. Now it sells while he sleeps. The course did launch in the first weeks. It started out selling courses from creators in the same niche three times his following. The marketing was not the magic. It was completely normal. Nothing out of the ordinary. The product was finally real. That's what this stack delivers.
And here's the part that actually got me. Brian texted me after the first week of sales and he said that this was the first time in his career when he felt like his expertise had actually left his head. That's the part that most AI founders miss when they're hunting for the next opportunity. I know the internet is full of knowledge that nobody can access. Not because the experts don't want to share or they're gatekeeping anything because the distribution layer was built for performers. So if you weren't a performer, your knowledge never shipped. AI just rewrote the distribution layer and the agency that delivers the rewrite that takes the trapped expertise and turns it into a shipped branded professional course. I believe that's the next play.
So, here's what I want to leave you with. Look at your network. How many Brians do you know right now? Experts with 10, 15, 20 years of trapped knowledge. People who would value finally shipping the thing that they've been sitting on for a decade. Once you start counting them, I promise you, you will not be able to stop. And right now there's a window. The tools are mature. The customer profiles are underserved. And the agencies that lock in this workflow in the next 12 months are positioning themselves at the front of the category.
