But for me, the fact that the creator of the universe did not need to have me in heaven but chose to have me in heaven. But if someone is was to force me to name a regret in my life, it was the fact that I didn't get saved earlier. And so today I want to introduce someone who I think it's good he introduces himself—introduction three of the podcast.
So, thank you, Katie, for having me. My name is Ian Nundi, but I prefer Ni, and I'm a child of God. It's all I have. I wish humble as a monk, but he's a great man. I think it's it's a pleasure to to be here.
It's an honor to have you. So, we'll just be going back and [Laughter] forth. Go humble pie. But yeah, it's it's an honor to be here. I've loved watching you. I've loved listening to you both in behind the camera and in person, and to just have to to share conversations today with you. I think that's what I'm looking forward to.

You're not qualified, but God qualifies those he calls. Come [Music] on. Anyway, tell me. So, what brings you here? What what brings me here is to have conversations about the gospel. To have conversations about about the gospel. I think it's—there's nothing I'm more passionate about than than that. I I think I've I think I've mentioned this in one of the videos I do about how like because it was like you know that deep into it like I have shallow interest here and there, but there's nothing that I'm so deep into. You get that I do so much that I care so much about. You get, and and I think it made me think for for a few months I was like, but I think the more I grew I was just like, whether I'm content in the gospel being all that I have, being all that I do, being all that I live for, and the fact that I'm I'm here to to have conversations about the gospel, and I have no greater expectation—You're you're one of the few celebs. So the fact of course destination. So [Music] um time I preached when I was pastor in the youth ministry, and I remember by the way through the gospel that you can actually enjoy and you can live a life of what you're talking about—contentment as humble as a monk as in—So to explain—gospel—the gospel is is a fact that for me I simply—and even what I'm about to say is it sometimes it comes off as an unpopular opinion.
Please say it, because sometimes what happens is you've probably heard someone share the gospel. The one of the most common ways of people sharing the gospel, it usually goes something like this. Maybe you meet someone on the street. You're just walking around, and you're like you go and you're like, "Jesus loves you." You know, "Jesus loves you." Then you start explaining. You get, and what I've seen happen at least from my understanding of what's going on in the world is the unbelievers have gotten used to the fact that Jesus loves him doesn't face them anymore. Everyone in this world has heard that Jesus loves them. "Jesus loves you." You get it's it's an—one of my favorite songs by Peton. I think loves—Jesus loves you and all that. But you see people—our consciences—the subconscience of the unbeliever or just the consciousness it may allow to look down upon the love that Jesus has for them because they don't understand that Jesus should actually hate them. That we we don't understand that God has all the reasons and all the justification and all the rights to actually hate us in our sin and do nothing about it. Well, the scripture like when when when you look at it from that perspective—that this is a great God who is God without us, who is Lord without us, who is creator without us, he does not need us. He does not need us in any way, in any shape. You get? But he sent his one and only son to die a thief's death on the cross for me and you and you and you like that is enough to center my life around. People center their lives around their marriages, their careers, businesses, businesses, their interests, fanatics or ball. But for me, the fact that the creator of the universe did not need to have me in heaven, but chose to have me in heaven. And because he's both just and mercy, he had to ensure that my sin is paid for through his son who was sinless. M, just so I may be saved. He became sin. That I may become—I may become the righteousness of God. That there's nothing—I don't think there's anything greater to live for than that. Anyway, imagine as in about story—I love love love story. It's true by the way, because—It was foolishness. It was foolishness to those who are perishing. Another one. [Laughter] So, so it it looked like foolishness. You get there's that thing of like, you know, by people I love and respect, people who I know, they'll give their lives for mine. They love me that much. But they tell me that, you know, you can [Music]
You see, it's—and I'm preempting one of my videos. It's—It's something that—Okay, this might get weird, but stay with me.
Get weird. We we think that we we we we—it's like we start by that place when you get—you see the problem with that is we think you can never sin up until a point you get satisfied. [Music]
Very interesting. See, see the Bible says that there was a great fine in the land. You get it was desperation that made him come to the end of himself. And that marked the beginning of God. And that marked the beginning of God. And the story you get. And you see, you will never get satisfied with sin because perversion always grows. You will never get satisfied with sin because perversion always grows. Always grows. Always grows. There's—But anyway, for the—and Chris in one of his standups, Alisma—his marriage ended because of pornography. Okay. And he said that, obviously in more disturbing ways, he said that the things that he was watching when he began his journey in pornography, one of the things that he was watching later, because you need more things to stimulate you. Now I have made a covenant with my eye to not look at a woman—at a woman lustfully—normally because sometimes what happens is you get—but when the more you consume pornography what ends up happening you get because perversion always grows. The same with the reason why we call things like weed gateway drugs is because yeah—and that is crazy in that way—but even us getting married to people who have lived their lives like that you get—but we think we can do that to a holy perfect and righteous God that—But—and you see I got saved at 20, and whenever someone asked me the question what do I regret—not even at 20—before my 20th birthday—up around 19 years—after high school years—if someone—I don't—I don't think I have any major regrets. But if someone is was to force me to name a regret in my life, it was the fact that I didn't get saved earlier. Okay. Again. So when I when I when I think about that sometimes I understand why people—anything that can form an addiction—10 years, 20 years—and it's not something I'd wish on—because—What? The the devil is one of—one of the things that makes the the the enemy a huge manipulator, a huge a huge liar and deceiver is because he comes in the form of a of a friend. Jesus—in the form of a disciple—"Get behind me." So hey—see jokes—see jokes—the devil will never make [Music] hell but make beautiful the road beautiful. That's why you see the reason why Jesus—the way is narrow is because you get—it's broad. You see the devil does not have a problem if you are into manifesting, you are into different things, you're into other religions. That is why the Christians are poor. It's okay. He's the ruler of this world. Meaning that he has to favor people who—in the earlier books of Luke. But you see, Jesus was already a king. You get he did not need the devil to make him king. You get—how can you require someone to make you king when you're king? You already know your king. So I think that's the thing that flesh you get. You see me—I'm passionate about speaking against pornography. It's one of the things that I always talk about because it's something I struggle with. You get, and you see the thing about the struggle with pornography. It's hidden. People can make fun about alcohol. You get about the fact that—masturbate a lot. "I can't stop myself." You get—and that's number one. Number two, it's a biological desire. Alcohol is acquired. Gambling is acquired. Smoking is acquired. You get—biological. You get—flee. But—the devil. You get because you have the capacity to resist. But when it comes to sexualist—one—Um, a lady connected. So at least now about story Joseph—make a lot of sense. Yeah. Yeah. Because—and you see that decision to to run away from Portifer's wife. You see, we we can talk about Joseph, and we sometimes we don't understand the magnitude of that. Portifer's wife was probably the second one of the most attractive women in Egypt because alpha male concept has always worked—that the the greatest male breeds with the greatest female so that they can create—they can continue that the lineage of great—you get—meaning [Music] that we we think about it like—If you make a decision when you are in such a space—possibility—but make that covenant already before—so that your—time—I think one of the people who mentored me in ministry, she's called Rachel—One of the things that she told me is never make a decision on shaky ground. Postpone the moment—how—and I've seen it. I haven't followed that advice perfectly—and by God's grace—mistakes. There are so many things. I've made the decision, and then I've prayed later—in his own way—in a way that I was just like—that had to be God. Okay. Interesting. [Music] um—gospel and come to salvation—and also how can you help someone—baby who is stuck in an [Applause] addiction. Stuck in addiction. [Laughter] The person stuck in addiction. I remember when I was when when I was stuck in pornography. It was such a disgusting thing. And I was like, "If I'm disgusted like this, how much more is God disgusted by this?" God—new way. New [Laughter] way. For nine lives. But I remember even in that prayer, I remember telling myself and telling God, "Give up." Yeah. For me, I feel like I know it is not—it wasn't my power, my strength that saved me. It was nothing but the Holy Spirit and God. Yeah. But I feel if I was to say the limited role that I played was saying those words—that my God—I might be here again, but I will never stop coming—because the thing about an addiction is you probably cultivated it for years or months. Yeah. Clean all of a sudden. But—process. You see, it's both. You see the three things that we are saved from is punishment, power, the punishment of sin, power, the presence. Punishment is definite. You've put your faith in Jesus, you're saved from the punishment of sin. You know, but the power—the power. Why is the Christian life so hard? Because some of them—everything that they need to keep them in that cycle of sin. You get there are people who see—we know there are people who are so rich—even the west—the people are so rich to the point where they feel like they don't need God. Yeah. [Laughter] Do you know—you know when one of the last interviews he did with Jeff—when for treatment—the system—NHS—it is better and cheaper than private—private—private—private—So you see Bob Ko was seeking private—private hospitals and funding it privately you get because he wasn't a citizen and he was he wasn't under that insurance or something you get but NHS was cheaper and it was better you get you get but you see the devil has given that them—that to them—and where—They're comfortable. In fact, um in a country, but your country—as in every [Music] system—everything is fine. Functioning. Yeah. So systems in government. So why do I need to go to church? That's in some—especially [Music] churches. M, things are drying up—mean anyone who's older—but because of such—and and you see the thing about about the the main thing about Christianity is hope—Christ is a true hope you get and then when we we placing faith in Christ is we're placing faith in the hope that Christ gives us—the the hope that we shall we shall not go to hell. The hope that we shall be united with him. The hope that we shall never be in this in this world and all. You see in as much as the thing that is so funny is we can we—many people deny Christ. Most of the people in the world deny Christ. But everyone wants a rest from this world. Everyone. He was not even a believer. Ain't no place I'd ra—ghetto gospel. Anyway, you get—everyone wants a piece of heaven. You get but they don't acknowledge the way there. And you see the reason why access to everything is now—the the hope is in themselves. The hope is in government functions. The hope is in the fact that our insurance—our money you get. But you see for us as Africa—in in as much as we don't like poverty—the the truth is—and this might look like an unpopular opinion—and maybe the poverty mentality—but the truth is we hate—and I'm not advocating for poverty in any way you get—it deains you get—that's even Proverbs 30—the writer says—"Do not give me too much, but also do not give me too little." You get—but—My unpopular argument would be this—poverty that we fight against has really preserved us for God. It has really shown us—makes sense. It has really shown us that God is all we have. And guess what? In Hebrews 11, when the writer of Hebrews is writing about the patriarchs of faith and the faithful ones, Abraham and all those people, he says they lived in tents. Abraham were richer than most of us ever will be, but they lived in tents. But the Bible says because they looked forward to that city whose foundation, whose builder, whose architect is God—because their hope was always in God and not in the things that God gave them. You get—and for us in—because Abraham could actually maintain that hope despite God's providence. Maybe for us we've—maybe the reason we lack is for us to understand that God is all we have. In fact, if you put your hope like the patriarch, the people in Hebrews 11—faith hall of fame—when you emulate such people—in terms of like the prodal son—in terms of you wasting your life—cuz now you know—in as much as I have this, this is not of an eternal internal value. There's something that is much more—investing in—and I can use what I have to enrich other people so that they can also have that mindset. You have—and everything, but you look at it from the place that God has like trusted you with this. Yeah. So, it's a responsibility for you to do something with it. Do you know Ky—when one of the things that—when when when I when I got that my my new phone, you prayed over it and the ministry? I can't remember. Video. But anyway, one of the things that I've been realizing this year, and it's a conversation I was I was having with my girlfriend, is everything that God has given me is to share—is for his purposes. Like right now—see—um if if even how I look for houses—one of the one of the my main considerations is can I host people here—if if I'm buying a car—can can I use this to f people—Two rivers. Yeah. Yeah. 10—Something else that I did in the youth ministry—bless. Amen. Youth—youth ministry—after I was searching for a house in um—this was 2016—early January—previously—[Laughter] So funny thing—each other after—Penthouse. True story. Relate. And [Music] so for the expansion of your [Music] kingdom was so—Beautiful. Yeah. Penthouse. You say funny thing was a step of faith—and two bedroom to that. 15 to 20 every Tuesday for fellowship for like 3 years. Every Tuesday without fail. [Music] Okay. Okay. As in—sense—in the sense that the eternal value—we need to amass wealth for ourselves, but we need to be people who bring other people on board so that the gospel—oven. Wow. I think—housewarming—house warming. By the way, of [Music] course, God work—Ladies, sitting room. [Laughter] [Music] want to come—always—every Tuesday for Bible study around 11. Anyway, about the eternal value. And then people—their hope was not—their hope was in Christ—like David. Yeah. Which psalm that he writes where he laments about—"Oh God, I don't have enough wealth." [Laughter] "Oh God, you know my investments." You get—fact—after John 3:16—"Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added." Make the wealth the priority—yet. God—priority. And that's why I hate that phrase of putting God first. Mhm. You're putting God first because—priorities. Mhm. God, school, employment, my relationship, you get—God should be your only priority. That's as simple as that. The only thing that should be—and then everything else feeds off this priority. You get—and that's the that's essentially the gospel. You see, when when you're putting God first, it means that he's competing against other things. He has just come out on top. Your school work, your relationship, your parents, your job. [Music] No, he he should be your only priority. You get? And you see the reason why I'm so hard on this is because Ky—the gospel—when we understand the gospel well, it will affect everything about your life. Has the gospel affected the kind of husband you are? You see—even even the thing about it is—I I'm not married clearly—but one thing that I I know—when you when you are an unbeliever or when you're married to an unbeliever—I'm not saying—because you see there are some unbelievers who are kind—there's some unbelievers who are loving who are patient you get—one exercise—some of—one of the teachings of the Bible. The teachings you get—or they're just good people. Yeah. But the reason—when they put good in quotes is because the Bible says we have no goodness other than Christ. So we don't have good people who don't know Christ. Yeah. But so the thing about marrying an unbeliever is you love them because they are kind. You love them because they are patient. You love them because they are all those things. But you see, if they don't know Christ, you're dependent on them to keep on exercising these things. But when you're marrying a believer, when you're in a relationship with someone who knows Christ, you know that Christ sustains them. You get? Yeah. The reason—I want—you know that Christ sustains—know they are patient because Christ has made them patient. The reason why your wife is kind with you is because Christ makes her kind. You get—even the whole the whole ball game of trust is different. You get—the reason why your husband or your wife won't cheat on you is not because they hold you in that much regard but because they have to deal with God first. The fear of God. The fear of God in a sound—in a sound way. I usually actually—sometimes I'm deliberately blunt for us to understand how serious it was. But in Psalm 51—"Against you and you only have I sinned." Because before he he was even accountable to Uriah, before he was even accountable to his wives, before he was even accountable to Bath Sheba, he was accountable to God. And that's the thing that changes. You get—the the reason why the believer will not step out on their marriage is because they know they made a covenant before God. Yeah. Unbelievers—blah blah blah—before God. You see, even even when when marriage is talked about in the Bible in is it Genesis 2 and Ephesians 5? It's always in context of people who know Christ, people who know God. Yeah, you get—Adam and Eve had a relationship with God. The man—the marriage talked about in Ephesians 5 is of people who know God. Yeah, you get—you don't know God and then—but your marriage is done in church. Yeah, I make sense. In fact, most of the marriages in terms of divorce happen in church. But then—explain—because people come to church after [Music] spouses. Try to paint a picture that actually marriages do not work. But the reality is—the right foundation. You see—even even how you do church to some extent is wrong. School—but according to them—but according to Acts—according to the New Testament—we see when it says—and 3,000 were added to their number—the number—the church is the body of Christ—we meet in physical locations—assemblies—but the church is the body of Christ—the people who are supposed to meet in—Those assemblies are people who are who already belong to the body of Christ. Yeah. Meaning that—evangelism, encouragement—meaning that the assumption is that from a place that—Do you know? [Laughter] Okay. It's not fun. Says, "But do you know even the the one of my—one of the people—exactly because—on Sunday—but you see it's because we—because sometimes even in church the gospel is not at the center—it's so many other things—but you see when—ma—whenever I preach—even when you go through my my videos in—My—there are two things that I usually want to achieve. The Holy Spirit hasn't convicted. And it's very important because we have—because of how we are doing church differently from how it was done in the New Testament. We have many goats thinking they are sheep. I don't know what that last day would look like. But—what are heaven? You got to be kidding me. Two gods in one. Two goats kidding. Wow. So—and you see because the church is a place of sheep—you get—even when you look at church discipline—I I don't see—oh—when you look at church discipline—when you look at church discipline as envisaged in—I could have used other words—envisaged in Matthew 18 by Christ—please explain—and visi—as as thought about—as envisioned. So, okay. In Matthew 18 by Christ, there's a reason why when someone is is caught in sin, talk to them. Yeah. Go with someone. Yeah. Go to the church. Yeah. What the church is telling you, it's not that we hate you. It's all that oh, you—we are better than you. It's because we think—we don't think we are better. It's just—we are not sure we can trust your testimony of Christ. Meaning we're not sure you're a believer. In fact, even Paul attested it on—I think it's 1 Corinthians 5 6.
5:9 to 13. Yeah. If there's someone who is immoral, for example, hand that man over to Satan, expel them. I think when the believers are together, where the spirit of God is, there is liberty as God; that is what he means: remove that person from the fellowship so that they come to the place that they are restored and then they are brought back. Yeah.
And it's because we model church to attract believers. And if we do that, Paul Washer said this, if we do that, we will need the canal ways to keep them. Yeah. You see, you see, it's even dishonest for me not to keep you here with what I brought you with. Yeah, you get it's even dishonest from us. We, we, we want to fashion our how we do things like the world. And then when we actually attract worldly people, we want to teach them Christ. And then we use Acts 17 to, to, to justify it with Paul in Athens about how he, he, he talked about Greek culture and painted the gospel from the perspective of Greek culture. It's a facade. You see, even when you understand why Paul had the opportunity to actually speak in those places to the Greeks is because he was different. Yeah. You see, we think we, we need to look like the world, behave like the world, catch up with their trends, behave like them. How many Christians have we seen take that route and then lose [Music] it?
But you see, number one, it's dishonest because they'll appreciate you for your truth. It can't be you. You, you are being a liar. You're manipulating them. Secondly, it will either they attract you or you attract them. And what is likely that the scripture he talks about in 1 Corinthians 15, they attract you because Paul says, "Do not be deceived." I usually translate it to: you can hang out with bad, with bad people and and remain unchanged; bad company for sure corrupts good morals. You get but you see the, the, we, I, I actually think we should actually strive to be different. We should be so clear with who we are in Christ. You get I even think that the reason why we have so many denominations is because the gospel is at the center. Everyone is emphasizing some other aspect of the Bible other than the gospel. And therefore now we have like 44,000 denominations, 144,000, like 44, 45,000, you get. But you see, but you see, many denominations do not disagree about what the gospel is. So if we focused on the gospel, I think I mention this year, you've also talked about [Music] it: let the main thing be the main thing; preach the gospel. When you think of me, Paul is after Christ; Paul is my favorite character in the Bible. Okay. Uh, I hope I remember to hold you to that. But Paul, Paul was one of the most educated people in the Bible. You get? Yeah. One of the most cultured people in the Bible. But when he was preaching, he said, "Is it 1 Corinthians 2?" I'm second Corinthians. I'm not sure. He says, "I not come to you with eloquence." Yeah. I think first Corinthians, all I am preaching is Christ and him crucified. Yeah.
I used to agree with, but now I no longer do, of we will do everything short of sin to actually call people to Christ; the lines because anything short of sin we can argue whether it's a sin, but guess what: it's not holiness; holiness is set apart; holiness is being set apart, to being cut out from the world, like where, way you are different, you see it. And you see the reason why we don't understand holiness is because we don't understand what the Bible says that when we say Christ is holy. You get when he says be holy as I am holy, be perfect as I am perfect. We don't understand what that holiness is. We think, we think Christ was a better version of us. You get we think God is just a human being 2.0. He's just bigger and better. But you see when the Bible in Isaiah 6 in Revelation 4 refers to him holy, holy, holy. He's the Lord God. He's the Lord God Almighty. Is the fact that he is so set apart. He is so different. That's why I'm saying you, you that thing of putting God first is wrong because he does not belong to any category. He's on a different category that he's just him alone and everything revolves around him. So when we are seeing that he is holy, when we are bowing down to him, you get one of the things that I love especially in Revelation 4 is how, like for me I don't think this is in scripture, okay, you know, such a red flag, but but how the, the 24 elders they keep bowing down; they bow down, you get it's like they get another revelation of his gloriousness, another revelation of his holiness, another revelation of how different and glorious he is, you get. So when we say that he is holy, that is what we're referring to. You get? So when he calls us to holiness as he is holy, he's telling us be different. He's not saying be better than the world. He's saying be different. Meaning that if the line is there, has to be a distinction. If the line is here, the point of Christianity is not about how close you can be to the line without stepping across from it. He's saying if the line is here, you better be as far away from it as possible. And if that's the case, we cannot fashion our ministry around just avoiding sin. Yeah. And because we are blurring the edges now, we are attracting unbelievers for the wrong purposes. You get because kumboka, most unbelievers, you see, when the unbeliever thinks about a sinner, they don't see themselves. They, they, they see the murderer, the serial killer, the rapist and all those things, you get. But so this thing, but they see themselves as good people. You get Mimi Connie. Who do I offend when I'm just sleeping with, I only sleep with my girlfriend? Who am I? I only sleep with myself. Solo sex. True. True. Yeah. So, so when we are around the line, those are the kind of people we attract. You get and the problem is not getting them to church. The problem is because that's how you got them. That's how you sustain them. Interesting.
So about the gospel. Um, so how [Music] can, how can you unpack in the sense that what you're talking about. I feel like I'll talk about it in two ways. Sometimes people don't want to give their lives to Christ because of what they're going to lose. They're going to lose their fan. They're going to lose maybe their boyfriends, their girlfriends. They're going to lose as in the money that maybe they took, I'll recompense, I will [Music] and that is one of the fear: I will lose my friendships, I will lose maybe that job, I will have to cut that deal, maybe your deal. And also some people fear or maybe they don't want to come to the place of salvation because of maybe what they've seen other people do, which it may affect their thinking, homework. First of all, if someone has gotten this far, clearly it's as simple as that. Clearly, you get even pretending. So sweet. No, it's not like that. Since 2007. By the way, Glory to God. Glory to God. 204, 2000, but anyway, so that's the first reason, you get. And then even a canal reason is: look at it this way, we have, you see the unbeliever has only tested one side, you get, true for the believer they've tested both; even that in itself experientially it's better before we even go get into the God, God part. You get that? The fact that we have two experiences and the unbeliever has one. You get? Yeah. That's, that's a can reason.
Now, let's go to the thing Psalm 37:4. When you delight in the Lord, he gives you the desires of your heart. Yeah. Obviously, I think by now we have all demystified the fact that not demystified but debunked the fact that God is not giving you what you want. He's teaching you what to want. You get that? It is not, he's not saying at his due, I desire a car. I desire to get married. So when I, I delight in the Lord, he shall give me a kind of marriage. No, it is saying that when I stay in the presence of the Lord, he will change my desires. That I used to want to be so rich. Now I want the city whose foundation, whose architect, whose builder is God. That's what my desire is about. It's like you're saying that now his desires become yours and you [Music] start and it's not manipulation. It's not gaslighting. It's just he, because we become like the people we love the most. Yeah. You get plans. When you love God the most, you want to be like him. You get? So and that's what, and that's what makes you want to tell me that the creator of this universe, the Grand Canyon and all those beautiful things, the wonders of the world, masara, the one who created those things can give you boring desires; the person who created that makes sense, you get. So he gives you those desires, you get. And then once he gives you those desires, he gives you, he puts you around godly people and godly friends like you who now we, we, we have friendships and we have banter. You get life regrets. Life regrets. I remember there was when I was in form one, my math teacher, my, the form threes ahead of us, I was in a mixed school. So long story short, they started doing things. They are naked and all those things, you get. So you get some of them were expelled, some are suspended. And remember our math, my math teacher, Mr. Roland Zondia, I'll never forget the best kind of fun is the fun you can have in front of your parents. The fact that [Music] and Christ has come back for his people. We will not regret sitting here and doing whatever we doing. We will not regret the lives that we lived. You get that? That is the funnest thing about all the things. The fact that I can present my life to Christ without embarrassment, that this is what I lived for. I lived for you. You get? So for me, I, I changed that from the fun you can have before your parents to the fun I can have before my heavenly father, that I can have this same conversation and I won't change even a word. Yeah, you get. I don't have to pretend. You get? And this actually makes my life better. There's not that. That's why the blessings of the Lord add no sorrows. Yes. Maketh rich. Addeth no sorrow. It maketh rich. It addeth no sorrows. That there's no way you, you see you when we pursue the things of the world. There's something we always losing. Whether it's your mental health, whether you're losing your family, you get, we know people who have chased their careers at the expense of their children. And they've, and they've thrown money at their children only for their children to be on TV shows to recount how horrible their bringing was despite the fact that they had all the money in the world. They lost something. The blessings of this world you have to trade something. But the blessings of the Lord, the only thing that you lose are the things that were needed to be lost. And that's why Christ could tell you, he who keeps his life will lose it. Yeah. And he who is willing to lose his life for me will keep it, obviously in reference to eternity. That and, and that's why when, when I'm seated here, I can, I can have this conversation with my heavenly father. That's the fun, you get. And you see, we're not removed from this world. I'm still my new supporter. It's still a, it's okay. It stopped hurting me. You get the my encouragement to the unbeliever watching this: come inside. Not to the believer who is um, maybe seeing also Christianity as something that is boring. Christian [Music] shows Christians. [Laughter] Life is not boring. And I'm saying this as a mindset when you're talking. It made me see that this life is not boring. Imagine the God that created Mount Kilimanjaro. Like what you're talking about. Grand Canyon [Music] and imagine who God made in the image of God. We are creative. So there's a way that we can create our own excitement. Joy, fun, boring as many of them and all my friends but equated to movie, equated to drinking. But is so amazing that magnet it wants to pull you to their side. There's so much. And for me, I tend to see if we can tap into this creativity that God gives us, we can be able to make Christianity look something that is what other people, especially those that don't know, and those that are living lives thinking that salvation is boring. Your life. And you see the Christian life is not shallow because you're living for things that will outlive you. And it's from glory to glory. It's from glory to glory. Because you see, for, for us, we, we are living for, it's everything that we do is about eternity, it has eternal value, value you get. But you see, when you live for things like enjoyment and enjoyment, it's just that enjoyment is used to mean, you get. But see those are things, you get. You get but you see like for example being here and having this conversation, how many people will benefit from this? A lot. You get and, and, and we will leave here feeling fulfilled. Yeah. You get. But and by the way, we are not saying these things at because we think we are better than the people who are doing, we are not actually being a believer is knowing that I am not better than the unbeliever. It is just his grace. I am nothing without his grace. M, you get I'm not better than I remember there was a time I was speaking and I [Music] said, but the only reason, okay, is because it's not because I'm better than the person who has done that. It is just God's grace that sustains me. Yeah. You get. So when the fact that I am here recording a video that hopefully will help people, you get will speak to people, that's worth it. You see the, the, the point we are not, I don't think we're designed to chase after happiness. I think happiness is a byproduct of chasing fulfillment. And you can only be fulfilled by chasing things that will outlive you. And you, and we, and that's why we have many people all discovering their purpose and oh, going green, a better environment or some people have different, there are like a million niches, you get, some people are just there caring for animals and they believe that is the thing that will outlive them, you get. But we have the greatest thing that will outlive us and that's living for God and when you chase God, obviously because he's not running away from you, but when you chase fulfillment in him and his work, you get the byproduct is happiness. And that's why whenever I have conversations with people who are struggling with their mental health, most of the times the problem is their salvation, the problem, because even depression is a lack of hope, and remember who he said the greatest hope is Christ; Christ. And I'm not saying believers cannot be depressed, you get. But even believers being depressed sometimes it's because things have happened in the world, you get, to the point where it has taken your eyes from the hope, you get, maybe you lost someone, you lost a relationship, you lost, you get, and your, and your hope for it was shaken, you get, because either your hope was too much in the job than in Christ or your hope was shaken, the fact that you get. And that's why Revelation 21:3 I reminds us that at the end of our lives, Christ will wipe away every tear that we ever shed. That's the hope that we have. It's not that we will not suffer. It's so that it's not that life will always be glamorous. It's that we'll be comforted both on this side of eternity and on the other side. One of my favorite songs is [Music] I'm [Music] saying as in fact that song, it's all about I shall see Christ. It's okay to suffer now because I shall see Christ. [Laughter] That's why one day in heaven we will wish we suffered more. We will wish we paid a huge price for the gospel fees. Paul say in Romans 8:18 that there's no suffering I can go through that will outshine the glories that will be revealed unto me; it's worth it to wow, even as come to the end, maybe a parting shot, a parting, but Christ is worth it. Nothing will ever be more worth it than living for Christ. There is, I think I'll use one of my best scriptures, 2 Timothy 4:6 to 8, when Paul is coming to the end of his life and he says that I have lived my life poured out for the purpose of this gospel. M, I have run the good race and have fought the fight and I have kept the faith. May that be said of you. May that be said of me. May that be said of you as well and everyone watching this that we kept the good fight. There are many fights. There are many races to run. But there's only one good fight and only one good race. And that's a life spent and lived for Christ and a life lived raising and pursuing him and his righteousness. That's all. You're doing an amazing job, Pik and Instagram. True story by the way. You're doing an amazing job. And go and delay and I think maybe tonight just share a word of prayer so that we just bring this to conclusion. Amen.

Father, I pray for the believer who is watching this who might be discouraged or who might be in a good place, may you continue holding on to them, Jehovah Lord, for it's your faithfulness that it's not about how good we are, but the promise is that you are faithful even when we are faithless, Jehovah Lord. And because of that, we can trust you. We can trust you because you're faithful. We can trust you because you're reliable. We can place our weight in your faithfulness, Jehovah Lord. Father, I even want to pray a special blessing over Katie. Thank you for his ministry. Thank you for what you're doing through him. Thank you for speaking to him and speaking through him, Jehovah Lord. Father, I pray that as he reaches out through all his handles, be it Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Jehovah Lord, may your word always be on his mouth, may there always be an encouragement coming from him, coming from his guest, Jehovah Lord.
