It's good to be back in God's house again this evening. It's good to have Josiah and Gracie with us here this evening. I know everybody just lit up where they saw him come in here this evening. Don't limit God and what you're believing him for here this evening. Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think according to the power that workketh in us." The God that spoke worlds into existence, he's a good father. He's going to give you what you need and he wants to give you what you need. I think about my daughters. I there's nothing I'd hold back from them as long as I know it's not going to hurt them. I try to give him everything I could and God's so much greater father than what I am. So believe him for what you need here this evening. Let's worship in spirit and truth.

Yes, it is. Hallelujah. Thank you for your faithfulness and give this song sister Shelton, sister Sharon, sister Tina come minister. This whole I want you. I was burned down. No happiness was found within. I never knew the meaning of joy down in my soul. When at last I fin my soul like I never felt. Heaven came down. There was glory all around. When he saved my soul.

I remember the day when the Lord saved me. When the Lord saved me. All of heaven came down. All of heaven came down. I'm happy and free. So happy and free. Glory filled my soul. For I knew the Lord had made me whole. I shall never forget that glorious day when the Lord saved me. Now a life of peacefulness deep within my heart abides. Since the day that Jesus took my sin away and to heaven I will go to spend the endless ages while they ever roll. Praising his name for the glorious day that he saved my soul.

I remember the day when the Lord saved me. When the Lord saved me, all of heaven came down. All heaven came down. I was happy and free. So happy and free. Glory filled my soul. For I knew the Lord had made me whole. I should never forget that glorious day when the Lord saved me.

I remember the day when the Lord saved me. When the Lord saved me. All of heaven came down. All heaven came down. I was happy and free. So happy and free. Glory filled my soul. For I knew the Lord had made me whole. I shall never forget that glorious day when the Lord saved me. I remember the day when the Lord saved me. When the Lord saved me, all of heaven came down. All of heaven came down. I was happy and free. So happy and free. Glory fill my soul. For I knew the Lord had made me whole. I shall never forget that glorious day when the Lord saved me.

What a glorious day. I remember that day 20 years ago this month, June of 2006. Asked the Lord to to help me. I didn't know what to ask him. I asked him to help me. But I knew whenever that burden of sin got lifted, I didn't have to make any changes. The Lord made the changes. There is a different walk after I asked the Lord to help me. He saved me. He set me free from what I used to do. He put my feet on a straight and narrow path. It's time. So, sir, Pastor Rush.

Amen. Give God a hand of praise now for the change that he's made in you. Praise the Lord. If Jesus comes in and going to be a change in your life, can't have him divine move into you, come into your heart and your life not be changed. Amen. People have to grow. We're all growing. We're not there yet. Not anybody there yet. We're all growing. And I'm telling you, when you get born again, there's going to be a dramatic change in your life. Then there's going to be growth. There's going to be development. The Lord's going to grow you in him. God is trying to create in us the image of his son. He's trying to get rid of us so that his son can be seen through us and in us. Amen. And I want to be more like Jesus. Don't you?

Praise the Lord. Good to see you back in God's house on Sunday night. Appreciate the wonderful service this morning. Appreciate the way the Holy Ghost helped us and touch lives here today. He's an ontime God. I appreciate the rain outside. I also appreciate the spiritual rain inside. Amen. We need both. This is more important. The spiritual reign. Praise the Lord. Amen. Good to have Josiah with us tonight. And Gracie Faith, redemption, regeneration, justification. They named her Gracy Faith. And I just add the rest of them myself. Amen. I love them. Appreciate them. Give them a hand of appreciation. Praise to God. told Gracie Faith, "I don't hug women. I just patted her on the shoulder twice. But I hugged Josiah two times. Hugged him one time, went back, got another hug from him." I've known him. I've known her less time than I've known him. I love her time. I've known her. And uh but I've known Josiah since he was a little bitty boy. He had helmet hair back then. Y'all remember that? Y'all remember the helmet hairs he had? I mean, he's just been he's just been here all most of his whole life been here and I watched him grow up in the church and I'm just appreciate them and love both of them. All of you. We're glad you're in God's house tonight. I appreciate how good God's been to every one of us. Amen. And uh listen, we're Listen, we're just scratching the surface here of what God wants to do here at this church. Amen. And I tell Lord, pour it all on us, oh God. Just pour it all on us. Hallelujah to God. Amen. Just fill us good and full. Praise the Lord. Have your Bibles tonight. Let's get in the word of God. We're going to Genesis. If you'll go to Genesis chapter 6, hold your spot there. And we're going back up in Genesis chapter 5. Sister Sister Shelton said, "I have children's church tonight." She and Sister Melissa, she said he didn't get to preach this morning. He gonna preach a long time tonight. I'm gonna try my best not to, but I'm not going to make any promises here to you. Amen. Just want to preach what I believe God's really dealt with me here. And uh had this on my heart this morning. Had another message for tonight, but God just brought me back to this for tonight. Just want to be sensitive to him. Amen. Genesis chapter 6. Hold your place in Genesis chapter 5. Let's pray. Father, thank you so much. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah to God. Thank you for your anointing, Jesus.

Thank you for the power of God. Thank you for the power of your word. Lord, I praise you, Jesus, for all this singing. Lord, it's blessed my heart tonight. Pray it's been a blessing to everybody here this evening. Those watching us online, God, all of this was to make that heart ready, prepared for the preaching of the word of the Lord. I pray for the next little while you'll stand with me, God, and help me. Speak through me, preach through me tonight. God, squeeze it out of me tonight, Lord. I pray this message going to be a help for if it's one individual, it's for everybody. Lord, I pray it'll find its mark tonight. I pray people will be helped and touched by the word of God through the spirit, the anointing of the Holy Ghost. Thank you for each one that's come out this way on this Sunday evening, God. And we're just so grateful to be here, Lord. We're here. We have a desire to be here. We have the want to to be here, Lord. Uh, and I thank you, God, for making a way for us to come now. I pray you'll meet every need, touch every vessel, every life tonight, God. Let us all leave here changed and touched by the hand of God through the word of God. Now, by your spirit, Lord, we're going to give you the praise and glory and honor for it all in Jesus mighty name we pray. Everybody shouted, "Amen."

Brother Scott told me a funny story at lunch today. I enjoyed it. Went to preach at a church and uh said he got up and he said, "Let's pray. Going to pray before he read the word." So when he got through praying, everybody sit down. He said, "I hadn't hadn't read the words yet." I guess they all had to get back up. So appreciate you not sitting down. Amen. Praise the Lord. Genesis chapter 6. Hold your spot right there. Let's bring you back to Genesis 5:24. Done. Just a wonderful job teaching this morning. I enjoyed that. Not because she's my wife, but I know how she lives. I know how she prepares, how she studies. And that lesson just touched my heart. And I told her this morning when she got through, I said, "I'm just going to pick right back up where you are." And uh sitting there while she's teaching, I thought, "Well, it's like we've been sitting there preparing together." I pray God's going to help you tonight. Imam the Bible said and Enoch walked with God and he was not for God took him. Enoch walked with God and he was not for God took him. Genesis chapter 6:es 8 and N Bible says but Noah now he said Enoch walked with God. He was not God took him. He translated him out of here. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. She told you this morning that the next lesson going to be moving into Genesis chapter 6 where evil begins to abound more and more until God says I'm done with this. The Bible says there's a man Noah here. Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and a perfect in his generations. Now somebody said you can't be perfect. The word perfect here means mature. You can be mature in Christ. And perfect in his generations. And Noah walked with God. Enoch walked with God, and he was not. For God took him. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations. And Noah walked with God. Can you give God a hand of praise as you're seated tonight? Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. believe I have the mind of Christ here tonight and I pray God's going to help some folks in this sanctuary. Amen. Want to preach for a little while if God will be our help on this thought. Just keep walking with God. Just keep walking with God. Just keep walking with God. We find here in Genesis chapter 5, the Bible speaks of Enoch. And then in Genesis chapter 6, the Bible speaks of a man by the name of Noah. Both Enoch and Noah have something in common in the fact that they were both delivered from the perils and the trials of their world. With Enoch, God took him out of the world. With Noah, God destroyed that world around him. In both cases, the Bible shows us and teaches us here that these men found the mercy and the grace of God because they walked with him. I believe today that those who will find the mercy and grace of God, those who are going to live victorious lives, uh, are not the ones who are perfect all the time. It's not the ones who never struggle. It's not the ones who never stumble along the way. But it is those who in the midst of troubles and discouragement, those who face persecution and ridicule and family problems and peer pressures. It's those in the midst of every kind of hindrance and temptation and trials uh that they just keep on walking with the Lord. Come on, say amen. While others quit, while others give up, while others compromise, while others backslide or drift away, uh, there are those who are going to just day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year, uh, they're just going to keep on walking with God. They're just going to keep on serving the Lord. I want that to be my testimony. How about you? I want a testimony like that of Enoch uh that I walk with God and I please God. I want that testimony of brother Noah that I find grace in the eyes of God uh because I walked with the Lord. Can you say amen? The Bible teaches us that our relationship with God has always been defined as a walk. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 6 and 4, "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death, that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." And then he said in Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus." Listen to me. If you're a child of God, uh, I don't care what people say about your past. Uh, I don't care how the devil accuses you. Uh, I don't care how this world looks at you and remembers what you've done in days gone by. The Apostle Paul said, "There is therefore now no condemnation to them uh which are in Christ Jesus uh who walk not after the flesh uh but after the spirit." Can you say, "Praise the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:7 says, "For we walk by faith uh and not by sight." Galatians 5:16 says, "This I say then, walk in the spirit UH AND YE SHALL NOT fulfill the lust of the flesh." Uh from the time we begin our relationship with the Lord, uh, it is ordained that we walk with him. Can you say, "Praise the Lord." I'm telling you tonight, it is the intention uh of the Holy Ghost that we are continually progressing in the spirit that we are moving forward and that we're growing in the grace of God. We cannot continue to be spiritual babes in Christ. Uh, I can't be what I was last year in Jesus Christ. Uh, I can't be on the same GROUND THAT I WAS 5 years ago in God. Uh, I've got to be growing in the Lord day by day. Uh, there's GOT TO COME A TIME WHERE I'VE GOT TO GET OFF the spiritual milk, the bottle. Uh, and I got to get to where I can eat some meat of the word of the Lord. Uh, I've got to grow in the grace of God. Uh, you say, "Brother Shelton, how do I grow in the grace of God?" Well, I'll tell you. First of all, uh, you need to come to church. Uh, and when you come to church, you need to partake of the word of the Lord. Uh, don't just be a hearer. DON'T JUST NOD your head in agreeance with it. Uh, don't just clap your hands or raise your hands. Uh, but let that word get down in you. Let that word change you. Uh, let that word grow you. Come on and say amen tonight. Uh, I'm telling you, if you'll come to church, uh, if you listen to the word of God, the preaching, the teaching of the word of the Lord, uh, and you'll eat that word, SOMETIMES IT'S BITTER, UH, but if you'll swallow IT ON DOWN, UH, IT'LL BECOME sweet in your belly, uh, and you're going to grow up in the Lord of glory. Say, amen. Uh, we are to be moving forward. WE are to be growing in God. And there is no standing still. There is no turning back. Uh, there is no setting down. Uh, there is no surrender. I said there is no surrender. Uh, I'm not going to give the devil uh, amen. Any credit uh, by letting him try to wreck and ruin my relationship with the Lord. UH I WANT TO SAY THIS TO YOU TONIGHT. UH THAT the Lord of glory stronger than that. UH HIS HAND'S A MIGHTY HAND. UH THE LORD CAN KEEP YOU. UH HE DON'T JUST SAVE YOU UH BUT THE LORD OF glory can keep you uh all the way to you CROSSRO THE FINISH LINE UH AND HEAR HIM SAY A JOB WELL DONE. I DON'T WANT TO GIVE THE DEVIL UH ANY credit or ANY GROUND. UH AMEN THAT I'VE FALLEN. UH I've walked AWAY FROM GOD UH AND LET THE DEVIL GET SOME GLORY. UH I WANT TO GIVE GOD ALL THE GLORY. UH DEVIL GOODY GOODY. UH YOU DIDN'T GET ME UH BECAUSE OF THE GRACE OF GOD. Somebody say, "Praise the Lord." There is NO SURRENDER IN THIS WALK WITH GOD. We're to walk with him until we reach our destination of heaven. The Bible says in Exodus chapter 14, God shows us that his people are to be a people that are moving forward, that we're going forward with him. The Bible said Israel's come to a standstill. They're standing before that Red Sea uh and it seems like there's nowhere to go for them. They've walked with God out of Egypt land and they followed the man of God, Moses, as he led them out of that slavery uh and leading them to the promised land. Uh, but now in Exodus 14, they're standing before that Red Sea uh with absolutely nowhere to go. They're hemmed in in that place. Uh, there's a mountain to the left and a mountain to the right. Uh, the enemy EGYPT'S COMING UP BEHIND THEM to destroy them. Uh, amen. They say we don't have anywhere to go now. And because of this obstacle uh they're ready to turn around and go back into Egyptian slavery. They're ready to quit. They're ready to surrender. Uh, they're ready to stop walking with God. But this is what God said to Moses in Exodus 14 and 15. He said, "Wherefore cryst thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel uh that they go forward." This is what the Lord is saying to Israel. Uh, keep on walking with me. Uh, keep on moving forward. DON'T LOOK BACK. UH AMEN. BUT KEEP GOING straight ahead. Uh, and the Bible said Moses uh, he lifted up that rod over THAT BODY OF WATER AND THE LORD OF GLORY uh, with a blast of his nostrils uh, he parted that water raised up a wall of water and they went across on dry land. They were able to go forward UH, BECAUSE GOD MADE A WAY. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, FRIEND. UH WHEN YOU COME TO A PLACE IN THE JOURNEY UH WHEN YOU DON'T THINK YOU CAN go forward anymore uh you just HOLD ON. GOD'S GOING TO MAKE A WAY. I SAID GOD UH IS GOING TO MAKE A WAY. YOU CAN KEEP WALKING ON WITH THE LORD OF GLORY. They walk right through that Red Sea OUT ON THE OTHER SIDE REJOICING IN THE THINGS of God. Maybe you're in this service tonight. You're facing AN OBSTACLE THAT'S TRYING TO HINDER YOU IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP. And I know that some of you here are I know what God said for me to preach. Uh, amen. Things obstacles things trying to hinder you uh from going forward with the Lord. Uh, I want to say THIS TO YOU TONIGHT. UH NO MATTER WHAT, I don't care what it is, who it is, uh no matter what, YOU JUST KEEP ON WALKING WITH JESUS. YOU'RE GOING TO BE GLAD THAT YOU DID. I SAID YOU'RE GOING TO BE GLAD THAT YOU DID. UH YOU keep on going forward. Uh, you keep on moving with him. Uh, you keep on coming to church. Uh, keep on coming TO THESE ORDERS. UH STAY IN THE BIBLE. STAY IN THE WORD OF GOD. UH WHEN IT'S ALL SAID AND DONE, UH, WHEN THE DUST IS SETTLED, UH, I'M TELLING YOU, YOU'RE GOING TO BE A WINNER. UH I SAID YOU'RE GOING TO BE A WINNER. UH YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO GLAD UH THAT YOU DIDN'T LAY IT DOWN. UH YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO GLAD UH THAT YOU DIDN'T SURRENDER. UH YOU'RE GOING TO BE SO GLAD UH THAT YOU MADE HEAVEN YOUR ETERNAL HOME. Raise your hands and praise Jesus tonight. Oh my God. No matter what, don't you surrender. No matter what, don't you give up. No matter what, don't you lay down. No matter what, DON'T YOU JUST stand still. Uh, you just keep on walking with the Lord. Uh, I said keep on walking with the Lord. Uh, if you'll trust Jesus, uh, if you'll walk with him, UH, HE'S GOING TO MAKE A way somehow.

I believe there's a song that says that I know the Lord will make a way somehow. I don't know how he's going to do it. You don't have to know how he's GOING TO DO IT. I JUST GOT TO KNOW THAT HE WILL. I SAID, I JUST GOT TO BELIEVE THAT HE WILL. YOU SAY, "BROTHER SHELTON, I'VE COME TO THE END OF IT. I'M READY TO WAVE THAT WHITE FLAG OF SURRENDER. UH THERE'S OBSTACLES BEFORE ME. UH THERE'S HINDRANCES IN MY LIFE. UH BUT YOU JUST TIE KNOT. HOLD ON TO THE END OF THAT ROPE. GOD'S GOING TO MAKE A WAY. GOD'S GOING TO MAKE A WAY. GOD'S GOING TO MAKE A WAY SOMEHOW. God will DELIVER YOU. GOD WILL SHOW YOU great and mighty things. You can rejoice in the great things of God. The Bible tells us in Genesis chapter 13 that God gives Abraham some great promises concerning his walk. He said in Genesis 13:14-17, "And the Lord said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place uh, well that where there art northward and southward and eastward and westward." Uh, he's saying everywhere you can look all the way around. It's what God's telling him. Uh, look to the north, look to the south, look to the east, uh, look to the west. Uh, and he said, "For all the land which thou seeest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever, and I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth." So that if a man can number the dust of the earth, uh, then shall thy seed also be numbered. He said, "Arise, uh, walk through the land, in the length of it, and in the breadth of it. Uh, for I will give it unto thee." Uh, here Abraham has a great promise from God. Uh, God said to him, "Everywhere you put your foot, I'm going to give it to you." Uh, God is saying, "Abraham, I'm going to give you everything that you're looking at." You look as far as you can see to the north. Uh, that's that way. Look as far as you can SEE TO THE SOUTH. UH LOOK AS FAR AS YOU CAN SEE TO THE EAST. UH LOOK AS FAR AS YOU can see to the west. And I want you to begin to walk through the land. And everywhere you put your foot, you can claim it as a promise for ME. UH I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU the land. THIS IS WHAT HE'S SAYING. AMEN. EVERYTHING THAT YOU LOOK AT, I'M GOING TO GIVE it to you and LET YOU POSSESS IT. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST WALK THROUGH the land. Uh, the only thing that would keep Abraham UH FROM OCCUPYING THAT LAND UH AND RECEIVING THE PROMISES OF GOD UH WAS WHEN HE STOPPED WALKING UH AS LONG as he's walking with the Lord uh, he's going to receive every promise that God said he could have. LET ME TELL YOU, CHILD OF GOD, UH THIS WORD OF GOD IS FULL OF PROMISES FROM THE LORD OF GLORY. AND IF WE'LL keep on WALKING WITH HIM, UH, I'M GOING TO RECEIVE EVERY ONE OF THEM. YOU'RE GOING TO RECEIVE every one of them. KEEP ON WALKING WITH THE LORD, HE'S GOING TO BRING HIS PROMISE TO PASS FOR YOU. HALLELUJAH TO GOD. As long as he walks with God, all the promises of God belong to him. The same is true for you and I today. The enemy of our soul cannot take away the promises of God. I don't care what the devil says. He cannot take away one promise in this book. What God said, it is eternal. Amen. Nobody can change what God said in this book. People do it all the time. Try to but God said if you add to one word in this book, I'll take your name out of that book. Uh, you take away from it. Amen. You'll face the judgment of God. Uh, the devil cannot take away the promises of the Lord. But if he can discourage us to the point uh, that we stop walking uh, he's GOING TO ACCOMPLISH HIS GOAL IN OUR LIVES PERSONALLY uh, he'll rob us, he'll strip us. UH HE'LL WOUND US. UH HE'LL LEAVE US FOR DEATH. UH BUT AS LONG as I WALK WITH GOD, UH I CAN WALK IN THE PROMISES of the Lord. COME ON. COME ON AND SAY AMEN TO ME TONIGHT. LET ME TELL YOU, CHILD OF GOD, THERE'S NO TIME TO LAY DOWN NOW. THERE'S NO TIME TO GIVE IT UP NOW. THERE'S NO TIME TO SURRENDER NOW. THERE'S NO TIME TO THROW IN THE TOWEL. YOU GET RIGHT BACK UP. I SAID YOU GET RIGHT BACK UP. UH YOU KEEP ON WALKING WITH THE LORD, WALKING IN THE PROMISES OF GOD'S HOLY WORD. AS LONG AS I WALK WITH JESUS, VICTORY is ours. AS LONG AS I WALK WITH JESUS, WE'RE GOING TO POSSESS the possessions of this holy word right here. Job said in Job 23:11, "My foot hath held his steps. HIS WAY HAVE I KEPT AND NOT DECLINED." The Amplified Bible says, "My feet have carefully followed his steps. I've kept his ways and not turned aside." THE PSALMIST SAID IN PSALMS 138:7, "Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou will revive me. Thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, uh, and thy right hand shall save me." WE MAY HAVE SOME HARDSHIPS to overcome. Uh, we may have to walk through some unpleasant places uh, in this journey. Uh, we may even stumble along the way. Uh, we may even struggle at times in this journey. Uh, I'm telling you, as long as I can keep going with him, uh, I said, as long as I can keep moving forward with the Lord, uh, I'm going to receive THE PROMISES OF GOD IN MY LIFE, AND I'M GOING TO MAKE HEAVEN MY HOME WHEN I LEAVE THIS WORLD. Can you say amen? Judges chapter 1 and verse 6, we find here an old tactic used by the enemies of years gone by. The Bible said, "But Adonisc fled and they pursued after him and called him, cut off his thumbs and his great toes." NOW THE QUESTIONS RAISED, WHY WOULD they cut OFF THIS KING? WHY WOULD THEY CUT OFF HIS thumbs and his great toes? Amen. Well, without your thumbs, you can't hold a sword. I said, WITHOUT YOUR THUMB, YOU CAN'T HOLD A SWORD. YOU CAN'T FIGHT LIKE THAT. Without your big toe or your great toe, you cannot walk. Without your thumbs and your great toes, there's no concern about you ever being a problem again. UH BECAUSE WITHOUT IT, YOU CANNOT FIGHT. UH AND WITHOUT IT, you cannot march. Uh, listen to me. UH THE ENEMY DOESN'T HAVE TO KILL US TO MAKE US UNEFFECTIVE uh, in THE KINGDOM OF GOD. UH, HE'S JUST GOT TO GET ME TO STOP WALKING WITH THE LORD. UH, HE'S JUST GOT TO GET ME TO STOP FIGHTING IN THIS FIGHT. UH, IF I STOP WALKING WITH GOD, UH, IF I STOP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH, UH, WE'RE GOING TO BE RENDERED USELESS UH, FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD. UH, AND WE'RE GOING TO BE INEFFECTIVE UH, AGAINST THE KINGDOM OF HELL. UH, SO LET ME SAY THIS TO YOU, CHILD OF GOD. UH, IF YOU'LL WALK WITH THE LORD, UH, YOU'RE ALWAYS GOING TO STAY ONE STEP AHEAD UH, OF THAT ENEMY. UH, IF YOU'LL WALK WITH GOD, UH, HE'S GOING TO BE ON YOUR TRAIL UNTIL YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. UH, BUT IF YOU'LL WALK WITH THE LORD OF GLORY, UH, AMEN, YOU'RE GOING TO GAIN GROUND WITH GOD. UH, AND YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE IT ACROSS THE FINISH LINE. UH, AND HEAR THE LORD OF GLORY SAY, "A JOB WELL DONE." COME ON AND SAY AMEN TONIGHT. HALLELUJAH TO GOD. Don't stop walking. Don't stop fighting. If we'll walk and fight, we're going to be victorious people through the Lord of glory. Amen. In more recent times, armies would take sharpened sticks, drive them into the ground with that end pointed up. When those soldiers marched through those fields and they would step on those sharpened sticks driving them through their feet, uh, their marching days were over. That's why the Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 5 and 15, "See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise." The Amplified said, look carefully then how you walk. You better pay very close attention to who you associate with. You better play pay very close attention what you set in front of your eyes. You better pay close attention what you let go in these ears. You better pay close attention how you walk uh, out there in that old wicked world. The enemy's got snares and traps and pitfalls. Uh, and it takes God. It takes the Holy Ghost. It takes the word of God uh, to cause us to be able to avoid the pits and the snares and the the traps of that old enemy. Look carefully then how you walk. Uh, live purposely and worthily and accurately, not as the unwise and witless, uh, but as a wise, sensible uh, intelligent people. Uh, we're to walk carefully. Uh, we're to watch where we're going. UH THE ENEMY LOVES TO PLANT things in our lives uh, so that whenever you and I walk across those things THAT'LL DO DAMAGE TO US UH AND CAUSE US TO STOP walking with the Lord. UH I'VE GOT TO STAY ALERT. YOU'VE GOT TO STAY ALERT. GOT TO STAY ON GUARD. UH AMEN. NOT ONLY GO WALKING WITH THE LORD BUT I got TO BE CAREFUL WHERE I WALK with the Lord. UH I SAID NOT JUST WALKING WITH GOD BUT I GOT TO BE CAREFUL WHERE I PUT MY FEET. GOT TO BE CAREFUL THE PATH THAT I CHOOSE UH TO GO DOWN. THE BIBLE SAY TWO UH WALK TOGETHER EXCEPT THEY BE AGREED. UH I'M JUST TELLING YOU I'VE GOT TO BE IN AGREEANCE WITH GOD. I'VE GOT TO BE IN AGREEANCE WITH THE WORD OF THE LORD. UH HE DON'T HAVE TO AGREE WITH ME. UH AND I'VE GOT TO AGREE WITH HIM. AND IF I'LL AGREE WITH HIM, I'LL WALK WITH HIM AND HE'LL KEEP ME SAFE IN THE WAY. SO STAY ALERT. WATCH WHERE you're going. Be guarded where you're going. Be careful the path that you choose to walk on. What made these men like Enoch and Noah and Abraham great was this that they never gave up. They kept walking with God. They kept on pressing forward. And if we'll have this same testimony today and keep walking with God, keep pressing forward in the way, one day going to finish this walk, going to cross that finish line, and heaven's going to be our home forever and forever. Give him a hand of praise in this house tonight. Hallelujah to God. Hallelujah to God. Listen to me, child of God. I know the Lord said this to me. If you're in this service and you've been knocked down, you get right back up. You don't lay there. You don't wallow in it and you get back up and you start walking again.

If you've had the wind knocked out of you, anybody ever had the wind knocked out of you? Whenever Sister Shut and I were dating, can I meddle? I believe I will. And Sister Shut and I were dating. I used We used to play backyard football in a place called Pisga. There's a ball field there. And I broke my collarbone playing football down there. Backyard. We didn't have no pads, no protection. We was out to kill each other. I mean, I mean, somebody get you, you' hold them up for the next man to come flying by and just try to kill them, take their head off. And when when Sister Shep was out there, I was a little more aggressive. Y'all know what they call that, don't you boys? Showing off. If you ain't careful, you get hurt showing off too much. You mad. And I remember I was trying to show off in front of her. I already had her. She's already my girlfriend. But you know, you want to do that. You want to be manly and you know, all those things. And and I remember I had the football and I should have just went on out of bounds, but I didn't. I turned back in and here they come. I mean that whole it looked like I heard a heard a buffalo coming at me and I don't know hit who hit me but somebody hit me so hard that I could not get my breath. Now I'm not about to let her know that I jump right back up. Throw it to me. And I'm sitting there thinking I'm probably going to die here because I don't think this is going to come back. But in just a little while, I got my breath back. I'm going to tell you something, friend. There's an enemy wants to knock the breath out of you spiritually. He'll hit you when you're not looking for it. He'll blindside you. He'll catch you off guard if you're not careful. Uh, and you feel like you're not going to live. You feel like you're going to die. But I'm telling you, just hold on with God. That wind's going to come again. Uh, that breast going to come again. Uh, that strength's going to come again. If you've had the wind knocked out of you, don't you just lay there and give up. You let the Lord of glory help pick YOU BACK UP. HE'LL GIVE YOU FRESH WIND. UH I SAID HE'LL GIVE YOU FRESH AIR AND YOU can keep on going forward. DON'T JUST LAY DOWN AND SURRENDER. DON'T JUST ROLL OVER AND DIE. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING. UH JESUS DIDN'T GIVE HIS LIFE ON THAT CROSS UH FOR YOU AND I TO LAY DOWN AND GIVE UP. UH JESUS DIDN'T PAY THE PRICE UH TO REDEEM US UH FOR US TO ROLL OVER UH AND SAY IT'S OVER. UH BUT THE LORD OF GLORY UH HE'LL PICK YOU RIGHT BACK UP. UH HE'LL SHAKE YOU OFF. UH HE'LL TAKE HOLD OF YOUR HAND AND HE'LL WALK RIGHT ON IN VICTORY WITH YOU. Somebody give him praise tonight. I BLESS IT LORD. I'm telling you, after that happened to me, I don't know who hit me, who where it come from. I just know I got when I got up, I couldn't breathe. I'm telling you, the rest of that football game, I got my eyes watching to make sure ain't nobody going to hit me like that again. Matter of fact, made me want to knock the wind out of somebody to find out who did that to me. Amen. You get the wind knocked out of yourselves sometimes. We struggle at times. Sometimes we stumble. Sometimes we we we fall. Come on, say amen to me. I'm preaching just just reality. Sometimes we fall in this journey. And the devil will come there and stand over you and say, "Look at you. Look what a mess you are. Look what a mess you made of your life." Uh, God don't care anything about you no more. You might as well just lay there. But let me say this to you tonight. Uh, amen. The Lord of glory, he'll help you gather back up. Uh, he'll give you the strength to stand up again. Uh, amen. YOU MIGHT GET UP A LITTLE SLOW. UH, BUT IF YOU GET BACK UP, IT WON'T BE LONG, MY FRIEND. UH, THAT YOU GOT YOUR STRENGTH BACK. UH, AND YOU'RE WALKING WITH THE LORD. UH, AND YOU'RE STRONG IN THE LORD AGAIN. UH, AND THE POWER OF HIS MIGHT. UH, IF YOU STUMBLED, GET UP. UH, IF YOU FALLEN, GET UP. UH, IF YOU CONTEMPLATED, QUITTING. UH, JUST GET RIGHT BACK UP. AND WALK ALL WITH JESUS CHRIST. SOMEBODY GIVE HIM PRAISE IN THIS SANCTUARY. HALLELUJAH TO GOD. I KNOW THE LORD'S TALKING SOME FOLKS HERE TONIGHT. HALLELUJAH. HALLELUJAH. Oh my God. Get back up. Keep on going with Jesus. If you're discouraged, keep on going with Jesus. If you've been hurt, keep on walking with Jesus. If you've had disappointments, keep on walking with Jesus. If you've fallen, make it right. Get back up. If you slipped, if you're struggling, keep on walking with Jesus. Come on, say amen. Tonight, if you're facing obstacles, hardships, difficulties, if you've been tempted to quit, the Lord's going to give you some strength in this house tonight. Lord's going to give you strength. First Kings chapter 18, be careful when somebody falls, how you put your finger on them. Be careful of what you say about them. Be careful how you stand over and look down on them. Because I'm telling you, it can happen to any one of us. You can be laying flat on your back and saying, "Dear God, what happened to me?" None of us are above that. We walk with him. We're safe. We're secure in him. But if I'm not careful, if I'm not on guard, every one of us can fall in this house. Here in First Kings chapter 18, Elijah, he's on top of that mountain, Mount Carmel. He's seen that fire of heaven come down, consume that sacrifice. I mean, he's literally on the mountain with God. He's seen those false prophets slain, backsliden Israel, has turned back to God. They said, "The Lord, he is the God. The Lord, he is the God. He's heard the abundance of rain. He said, "I hear the rain are coming." Hallelujah. Oh, God. I see a cloud not big enough to give that kind of rain that we need, but I hear that kind of rain coming that we need. He's come off that mountain. Matter of fact, he he outrun Ahab and those chariots of horses. I'm going to tell you something, friend. Ain't no man can outrun a horse unless God lays his hand on that man. That's exactly right. You can't outrun a horse. I don't care if he's old and broken down. You can't outrun a horse, my friend. But for 18 miles, that horse with his tongue hanging out of his mouth breathing hard when he got there to the gates of the city and Elijah standing there not hardly broke a sweat and said, "Where y'all been at, boys? outrun a horse for 18 miles. This is a man who's been on TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN. A MAN WHO'S been in the PRESENCE AND THE FIRE OF GOD, SEEN THE FALSE SLAIN. But when you TURN OVER ONE CHAPTER, WE FIND HIM NOW. GOT NEWS FROM a woman full of the devil. Uh, that what he done to her prophet, she going to DO TO HIM BY THIS TIME TOMORROW. SHE'S SAYING, "I'M GOING TO TAKE YOUR LIFE." UH, AND ELIJAH TAKES OFF RUNNING in fear, afraid uh, for his life. AND I CAN'T EXPLAIN THAT. UH, I'M JUST TELLING YOU, FRIEND. UH, JAMES SAID HE WAS A MAN OF LIKE PASSION JUST LIKE WE ARE. UH, THAT SIMPLY MEANS THIS UH, THAT he could he COULD BE ON THE MOUNTAIN RIGHT NOW, BUT FIND HIMSELF IN A LOW VALLEY JUST LIKE YOU AND I CAN LEAVE A GOOD SERVICE AND BE ON CLOUD N. AMEN. BUT BEFORE THE DAY IS OVER, RECEIVE BAD NEWS. UH SOMETHING HAPPENED AND FIND YOURSELF UNDER a juniper tree. Uh, it happened to LIFE. UH, IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU AND ME. The Bible said now he's got down under a juniper tree. To get under a juniper tree, you got to get down on your belly and crawl to get up underneath that tree. Now here he is depressed, discouraged. He said, "Lord, I don't even want to live anymore. I want you to take my life. He wanted to die. But the Bible says God sent an angel. One angel can kill 185,000 men. God sent an angel and cooked a meal for him and said, "Here, get up, boy, and eat this food right here. You're going to need this meal." Cooked it. Went back TO SLEEP. COOKED ANOTHER MEAL AND SAID, "GET UP." AMEN. Now he's walking with God again. God didn't leave him under that juniper tree. God gave him the strength to keep on marching. Uh, you read that story wasn't too long after that. Uh, amen. Few year about eight years after that. Amen. Then God takes him across that Jordan River. Him and Elisha. Amen. He's walking with God. Found himself in a low placeh that he don't want to walk anymore. Don't want to run with God anymore. He just wants to die. Wants to get out of this world. But the Lord come to where he was. God had to get down real low to the place he was in. UH BUT THE LORD DON'T MIND getting down there in that PLACE WITH YOU TO GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO GET YOU UPH. Let me TELL YOU SOMETHING, FRIEND. UH IF YOU'RE IN THAT LOW PLACE, UH IF YOU'RE DISCOURAGED, UH IF YOU'RE HINDERED, UH THE LORD OF GLORY CAN TOUCH YOU TONIGHT. UH HE'LL COME TO WHERE YOU ARE. UH HE'LL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO GET UPH AND TO KEEP ON WALKING WITH JESUS CHRIST. Raise your hands in honor of God tonight. I know that you're here. I know that you're here. I know that you're here. And I know you feel discouraged. And I know you feel hindered. And I know there's obstacles standing in front of you. And I know there's an enemy talking in your mind. That's where your battlefield is, in your mind. And I know he's telling you to quit, to give up, to surrender, that it's over for you. But I came by to tell you here tonight, it's never over with the Lord of glory.

No matter how low you get, he'll get right down there with you and g He'll get right down there with you and gather up with you and give you the strength that you need to get up and keep on walking with him. Will you stand all over this house and raise your hands and thank him tonight? Hallelujah. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah to God. Anybody ever been under a juniper tree? Anybody ever fallen? Anybody ever slipped? Anybody ever stumbled? Oh, you ain't got to look around nobody else. You just look at yourself. Everybody has. But you didn't quit and you didn't give up and you didn't just lay down. But you're here tonight because of him. Because of him. I want to walk in the promises of God. Before the Lord took Enoch, he had this testimony that he pleased the Lord. That's your desire tonight. I want to please the Lord. I'm not interested in pleasing people. I'm not a people pleaser. I want to please the Lord. I don't care if anybody pats me on the back or not. That doesn't matter to me. I want to please the Lord. I know I say this, but I mean it when I say it. There's going to come a time in my life that I'm going to leave this world. And I'm going going to leave this world either by that trumpet or by that grave. But I'm going to leave this world. When I leave this world, I want to hear him say to me, "A job well done, thou good and faithful servant. I don't know, sister Sarah, if he'll stand up for me like he did Paul. I don't know if he'll stand up for me like he did Stephen. But as long as I hear them words, a job well done, thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the joys of thy Lord. It is going to be joy unspeakable and full of glory over yonder. I want to cross that finish line. Paul said to run this race that you might win, that you might finish. Count the cost. Jesus said, "Make sure you got enough to finish in this journey." You got to be determined. You got to have some grit in your soul that even at your low place that this is not how it's going to end for me. The Lord has given me promises and if I walk on with him, this is not the end of the story for me. Come on, say amen. Every head bowed and every eye closed tonight. I thank you, Lord, for your word. I thank you for your word tonight, God. If you're here and you say, "Brother Shelton, I I'm right where you're preaching tonight. I've I've been discouraged. I felt hindered. I've got obstacles in front of me. I need the Lord just to come by and touch me tonight. I need him to touch my mind. I need him to touch my body. I need him to touch my spirit. Hallelujah. I just need a divine touch from my head to my feet. I want you to come these altars right now and come on down here and
