If your bad cholesterol is high and you are afraid of its complications or worried about its medications and dangerous side effects, then today is your day because you will know the four strongest natural treatments, and the last one, of course, is a mixture presented for the first time. The precise diet that lowers your bad cholesterol by a third and gets rid of it for the first time in only one month, and without medication, of course. This episode is not for the faint of heart. If you are tired or don't have the patience to complete the 20 minutes, leave the episode because you will likely continue taking medication for the rest of your life instead of getting rid of it. But if you follow along, I will answer your questions at the end of the episode, as usual.

This is a live broadcast, so the sound is very important. Please comment on the sound because if the sound is unclear, it means tens of hours of preparation, studies, and slides that benefit you will be wasted. If this is your first time watching, I am Dr. Saif Al-Jarrah, a specialist in internal medicine and geriatrics in Switzerland, a trained physician, and a teacher for doctors here in Geneva. Let's take a minute to check the comments to see if the sound is clear and if you are ready to begin immediately. Qadia, welcome. Aad Al-Liqaa, welcome. Wissam, my dear, welcome.

The sound is very clear, thank God. Dina, thank you. Bushra, the sound is clear, thank God. Wissam, the sound is clear. Let me know if you are ready to begin. Wissam said the sound is clear. Thank you, Wissam. Kadia, the sound is clear. Thank you. Ramadan Kareem to all of you. Thank you, Duaa. May God keep you.

If I sense that you are ready, then if you are ready, we will begin. I am sure the first question you will ask me is why did I prepare this system? What was the reason? The reason is that I myself am a cholesterol patient. I prepared this for myself, not for you. The strange thing is, you will notice in the first picture, if you look to the left, in a red circle. This red circle says 5.9. This is a severe elevation of bad cholesterol that I personally had. On the right, you will see a green arrow at the bottom; the cholesterol dropped by approximately 25%. I used the system I prepared to give to you today, and there are new things that have not been previously discussed.

Is your cholesterol and my cholesterol dangerous or not? This is an important question. Bad cholesterol comes in two types: triglycerides, which are the enemy of the pancreas before being the enemy of the heart. I will talk about them in a little while. If you had a blood test and monitored your triglycerides, I will show you the values that become dangerous. This means with certain ratios, 500 and above may give you cholesterol medication. This is triglycerides, the first of the bad fats. The second bad fat is low-density lipoprotein or LDL, which we call low-density lipoprotein in English. I have shown you a real picture of it. The important thing is to know the values in your blood test that will indicate danger.

In certain cases, we talk about values exceeding 190, or in other ratios, it exceeds about 4.9. But this belief is somewhat outdated. Why is this belief outdated? Because we discovered, and this is very recent, that this molecule of low-density lipoprotein contains another substance, the image of which you have on the screen now. This substance is what accumulates and penetrates the walls of blood vessels and arteries, and it is the most dangerous and causes strokes and heart attacks. In this case, ask your doctor who wants to give you medication to do these two tests on the screen. One is called oxidized LDL, and the other is called sdLDL. Their names are not important, but take the picture, pause the episode, take the picture, and keep it for a very important reason.

If you go to the doctor and these results are normal, you will most likely not need medication. One natural treatment in this episode will suffice to completely remove it within four to five weeks maximum. Therefore, this new test is very important and useful, and indeed, some patients, perhaps some patients in the broadcast, have started to benefit from this test for some time. These tests are what we generally do in routine checkups. We went to see the doctor, did a blood test, didn't feel anything, and generally, we don't feel anything with high cholesterol. Therefore, high cholesterol is called the silent killer. But despite this silence, there are five key signs. These signs are real, scientifically proven signs; it's not someone telling you that your neck hurts, meaning you have high cholesterol. May God help you with the medical information in the Arab world. But these signs are proven signs; their presence saves our lives if we notice them because we can do a blood test immediately and discover dangerous elevations in cholesterol.

The first of these signs is what we call a xanthoma. It is yellow or white lumps that start to form in the ankle. I have shown you a picture of it on the screen. It can also occur in the heel, elbows, and knees. If you notice this in yourself or someone close to you or someone you love, it means there is a severe elevation in LDL cholesterol and that the cause is often hereditary. We will talk about hereditary causes later in the episode because it is very important. But imagine, from one sign, you knew the type of high cholesterol and, in addition to this, you knew the cause. So the first sign is xanthoma. The second sign is arcus corneae. What is arcus corneae? It is a grayish or white ring that occurs around the iris of the eye. In older ages, i.e., over 75 years old, we may notice this sign without dangerous or harmful elevations in cholesterol. But if you notice this sign and you are under 45, even under 40, which is a young age, it usually means there is an elevation in the two types of bad cholesterol, and it also often occurs when there are hereditary causes. A blood test will greatly help you. So the first cause is changes in the heel or elbows. The second cause is changes in the eye. The third cause is around the eye; you start to notice something we call yellow eyelid plaques. What are these? These are yellowish spots that occur around the eye or on the eyelids. This is the only sign that sometimes, rarely, we may notice on a person and do a blood test, and it is normal. But it usually also indicates an elevation in triglycerides and LDL cholesterol. So there are three signs. The fourth sign is very common; I notice it in most of my patients, and it was one of the signs I had that indicated high cholesterol, which is seeing strange red or even white granules, without symptoms, without itching, and not resulting from, for example, a lack of cleanliness. They appear on the arms, thighs, or sometimes on the buttocks. If you notice this sign, a blood test is very useful because you will likely notice an elevation in triglycerides. So you learned from the fourth sign about the elevation of triglycerides. The fifth sign is the most frightening because it begins with severe pain in the upper abdomen. This pain is not transient pain, for example, we ate something and had some pain from indigestion that lasted for two minutes. No, it is continuous pain that lasts for about 30 minutes, or even more, with some nausea and vomiting. If these signs occur, they may indicate inflammation of the pancreas. The pancreas is behind the stomach; it is one of the small but very important organs in our bodies. The pancreas is what helps us digest sugar, and at the same time, it helps us digest food, fats, proteins, and starches. Inflammation is very dangerous and occurs when cholesterol particles and cholesterol particles accumulate in the ducts of its tubes. This, of course, causes inflammation, fluid accumulation, and pain. If it occurs, it is also usually caused not by elevated LDL but by elevated triglycerides. I told you that more than 500 is a somewhat dangerous elevation. We generally see patients with elevations exceeding 1000.

So the five signs were: a sign related to the heel, changes in the skin, a sign related to the iris and eyes, a sign related to the area around the eyes, the yellow plaques, and then we try to see if there are small granules on the arms or thighs and buttocks. Finally, if there is, God forbid, persistent pain in the upper abdomen, it is very important to consult a doctor quickly.

Well, if you knew the signs that diagnose and even their causes, but the important thing we have today is the new way to heal from this elevation of cholesterol in a month. This method, of course, consists of three components: a diet, an exercise system – I don't talk much about exercise, but this time we will talk about exercise – and a natural system of four natural treatments, the last of which is a new mixture.

Well, the dietary system, this is the point where I highly encourage you, if you like, to stop the episode and take a picture because taking it will greatly help you because you can keep it as a reference. Four food groups that I have divided for you to know, most of which explode cholesterol. All starches, I love them like you: white bread, pasta, white rice, fried potatoes, fast sugars. The problem with fast sugars is that we think of white sugar, but there are dozens of things that contain white sugar that we don't notice, such as biscuits, pastries, croissants, and other cakes and the like, carbonated drinks, juices, especially preserved and store-bought juices, and, of course, the eternal love, ice cream. Protein sources can also be dangerous, especially red meat, sausage, and burgers. When these meats are preserved, they are much worse. Breakfasts with certain foods explode cholesterol: cereal, corn flakes, whole milk, whole-fat cheeses, and pastries. In our system for the month, because your will is strong, with this strong will in the month's system, there are no breaks. This list is prohibited every day, all the days during this month; this list is completely prohibited. But to make it easier for you, I have put the worst four. If we notice the four together, we will notice a strange matter that these four are sandwich fast foods. Fried potatoes are very bad, terribly deadly. Sausages are often placed in sandwiches. Beef is also used for sandwiches, and what is put on them is whole-fat cheese. This is a summary of the worst, but there is a specific final important matter to abstain from during this month that we will eliminate cholesterol. This matter is hydrogenated fats. What are hydrogenated fats? Companies take liquid vegetable oils and add hydrogen to them and turn them into solid fats to increase their shelf life. So if you read on any product that you can leave on the shelf, popcorn, frozen and ready-made pizza, margarine, etc., if you read on the package "trans fats" or "hydrogenated fats" or "partially hydrogenated fats," leave it and run away from it completely. These two matters, the red list and the matter of hydrogenated fats, if stopped for this month, we have reduced bad cholesterol by 15% basically. I will, of course, receive the question quickly. Well, what do we eat? Tons of foods and foods are available to eat. So, for example, instead of white rice, we can eat brown rice. Instead of white bread, whole-grain bread is excellent. Instead of pasta, we can use mixtures containing oats; we can use beans, nuts. Healthy sugars, of course, are many, for example, Greek yogurt and honey. For me, it's a great breakfast. You know dates; dark chocolate is very good, two pieces of fruit a day compensate for most sweets, if possible. Protein sources: fatty fish, chicken breasts, and turkey breasts without skin, and, of course, a toast mixture of whole grains, avocado, and eggs in the morning is excellent and great for lowering cholesterol. An omelet of egg whites and spinach in the morning is excellent and great for lowering cholesterol. It's easier for you; this is best if we eat it and dot it throughout the day. This will be the cholesterol-lowering quartet: oats, salmon – this is great, and we will come to its greatness because there is the matter of omega-3s that we will talk about later – almonds because almonds combine the best of both worlds at once. Almonds give us very healthy fats and healthy fibers, and, of course, avocados because avocados are the best source of fats in the world. They improve the good HDL fats and reduce bad fats in us.

Well, we know the diet; now we will start for the first time with the exercise system. The exercise system consists of two parts. We need five days for the system. The five days for the system are divided into three days of what we call high-intensity interval training; in English, we call it HIIT. The important thing is its name in English; it is not important. But when we hear high-intensity, we say we will break our backs and muscles. No, this is not what is required at all. The principle is very simple: one minute, we try to run as fast as we can and rest for two minutes, then one minute we run as fast as we can and rest for two minutes until half an hour passes. If half an hour has passed, it means we have done a high-intensity exercise or HIIT. This exercise does a very important thing; it greatly increases metabolic rate, and in addition to this, it has been proven to have the ability to lower bad cholesterol by approximately 5% at a time.

Well, two days are left for the system. The two days for the system will use resistance exercises. I don't require you to go to the gym or lift weights; this doesn't concern me at all. But I have chosen for you the three best exercises from what are called resistance exercises, not push-ups, because these three exercises move and build 90% of our body's muscles. Push-ups, only three sets, each set we do, for example, ten repetitions. Large quantities are not required. Deadlifts, we don't need high weights at all, but when doing the lift, we do, for example, four rounds and repeat for three times. Squats, going down and up, also, for example, do ten times, eight times, six times for three rounds one after the other. These exercises end in half an hour. Their goal is a matter we have recently learned: our muscles are a sponge for sugars. The more we build and enlarge our muscles, the greater our ability to digest sugars and protect ourselves from bad cholesterol and even diabetes.

Of course, I will give you a shock. We know the diet and, sorry, the exercise system. Three days a week of high-intensity exercises, two days a week of resistance exercises. But even if you can't do it, say you are tired, you have joint problems, joint stiffness, excess weight, you yourself are not helping even if you leave this exercise system and don't apply it, the system and program in today's episode will lower your bad cholesterol by more than a third, and you will know the reason simply in a little while. If we reached the natural treatment mixture, why is the natural treatment mixture important? Because we will know if the increase is in LDL cholesterol, what is the best natural treatment, and if the increase is in triglycerides, what is the best natural treatment, and if the increase is in both, what is the natural mixture that eliminates both and lowers cholesterol in certain studies by up to half in four weeks.

Well, if we have an elevation in LDL, like me at the beginning, I noticed that my LDL was very high. Fermented red yeast rice is the strongest natural treatment. What is fermented red yeast rice? I have talked about it before, but it is red rice, known to the Chinese for thousands of years. Strangely, when fungi ferment it, we have recently discovered that it produces a substance called monacolin. This substance is the same substance that pharmaceutical companies use to manufacture cholesterol medications, which we call statins. But the strange thing is that its ability to lower cholesterol was not accompanied by all the side effects of medications. Remember, cholesterol medications have possible side effects on memory, liver, and not only on muscles. So, when you start using it, I put the dose. We start with a dose of at least 600 mg twice a day. Then, after about a week, if the situation is good and you don't feel muscle aches, we can increase the dose to 1200 mg twice a day. Of course, in food, we cannot get these amounts of monacolin, the active substance for lowering. The important and common side effect is that muscle aches may occur, but they are less compared to medications. This natural treatment is similar to medications in strength. This is the first matter. The second matter is that many countries have banned fermented red yeast rice, not because it is dangerous but because of the lack of quality control. Therefore, I chose certain supplements if you want to get them or you can, of course, consult a pharmacist about other supplements if their reviews are good and they do not contain manufactured substances, there is absolutely no objection to using them, and they are allowed in, for example, 90% of Europe.

Cases where we don't use fermented red yeast rice: if we have liver weakness, i.e., cirrhosis or liver inflammation, or if there is an allergy to cholesterol medications, because I told you the main substance in it is similar to the substance in cholesterol medications, but it is natural. If you are taking cholesterol medications, even if your doctor thinks of prescribing a cholesterol medication with it, tell him no, please, review the matter because the mixture between natural and chemical medication may harm the liver. Clearly, during pregnancy and breastfeeding because we don't have studies. If the elevation is in LDL cholesterol, the strongest natural treatment is fermented red yeast rice; we reach up to 25% of cholesterol reduction. Well, what do we do if we have high triglycerides? My dear friend, omega-3 fatty acids. Always think of it as engine oil for a car. When the oil is of very high quality and the engine is well lubricated, there will be no roughness, friction, wear, or problems because it protects the heart, protects the brain, reduces inflammation, but at the same time, we know from the study I showed you that it has the ability to lower triglycerides alone by up to 50%, up to almost half. The reason is simple; it has the ability to reduce their production from the liver.

Well, we need high doses. These high doses are difficult to obtain, i.e., difficult to obtain from food. Important food sources: salmon, tuna, sardines, flax seeds – I always talk about them because they are very rich, one of the richest sources of omega-3s – but to get an amount equivalent to 3 to 4 grams a day is difficult. Supplements are available, but it is necessary to take them with meals to avoid nausea or bloating that may occur in the abdomen. Of course, it is prohibited during pregnancy and breastfeeding, like all good natural treatments; it increases blood fluidity. So if you have any bleeding or are taking anticoagulants, and, of course, if you have a fish allergy, it is also important to avoid it. An important point is that it is a great protector of the heart, but tell your doctor if you have atrial fibrillation or problems with your heartbeat because there is a rare possibility that it may increase it; it does not cause it at all. But if you have it, it may sometimes increase it.

Well, we know the strongest natural treatment for LDL and the strongest treatment for triglycerides. If the plan is so far, if we have elevated triglycerides, we will use the dietary and exercise system and supplement with omega-3s. If we have elevated LDL, we will use the same dietary and exercise system because it works on both, and supplement with fermented red yeast rice. But if you have both elevated, and if you want to ensure the elimination of bad cholesterol without medication, we will supplement with the strongest natural mixture. This mixture consists of two components: the first is niacin. Niacin is one of the rare and strange B vitamins. Niacin, think of it as a maintenance factor that helps our body use, digest, and metabolize energy and fats, and its deficiency causes problems. Its insufficient presence causes problems. The study I showed you proved that it lowers both LDL and triglycerides at once, and it has the ability to lower them by up to a quarter in weeks. Its side effect is evidence of its strength because the type used in this case is the type called flush. This B vitamin dilates blood vessels, cleanses blood vessels, so this sometimes causes redness, sweating, and heat. This increases if we eat spicy or seasoned food. This is what increases the feeling of heat. The way to reduce the heat if we take it is to take it at night and after a light meal, especially, for example, an apple. In certain cases with my patients, even if I try to avoid this matter, those who couldn't tolerate the heat, but were very keen to use niacin, because we have known the ability of niacin to lower cholesterol for 50 years, and I don't know why no one admits it. We can give them small amounts of aspirin. We can take small amounts of aspirin if your doctor doesn't mind. This greatly reduces redness and heat. Its sources from food are generally beef liver, chicken breasts, and tuna. But practically, to get the amount I need, 500 mg, for example, a day or 1 gram a day to lower bad cholesterol, I will need to eat about 10 kg of beef liver, for example, which is, first, dangerous for health, and second, impossible to my knowledge, unless you have certain abilities that I don't know. But the important thing is three cases to avoid niacin, even if your doctor tells you that it is good, that is, B3, to reduce it. First, if you have diabetes. But if diabetes is controlled and the treatment is good, there is no objection, but I am talking about severe, uncontrolled diabetes. We are talking about your HbA1c being 8, 9, and 10. Second, if you have stomach ulcers because it may increase stomach pain in these cases. And, of course, the third case is cases that generally have blood fluidity or gout because it may increase uric acid when using niacin. In this case, try to avoid it. But if these three things are not present, then niacin is the first part of the mixture.

The second part of the mixture is the new one: bergamot. This is a fruit; you will ask me where. The pride of Italy, it is grown almost exclusively in southern Italy, but it is available worldwide. A strange hybrid mixture of bitter orange and lemon. In 2009, Italian scientists began to notice a strange matter; there were people, even some elderly people, who used jam from the peel of this fruit, or sometimes these champions drank an extract of it, which is very bitter and rare; not many people can tolerate its bitterness, and they noticed that there was a decrease in bad cholesterol. Research began in 2009, then 2016, then 2020, the latest studies reached when I started following it for a while. But now the research and scientific evidence are strong enough that it is clear that if we use bergamot, we can lower bad cholesterol in our blood, both types, by up to 40%. The difference and reason for exceeding even medications is its ability to raise the good and beneficial cholesterol in our bodies by the same 40%. The reason is that this bergamot is rich in what we call an antioxidant substance. We like to complicate medicine, antioxidants are beneficial to cells. But it is rich in a substance that is beneficial to cells, which we call flavonoids. These do three things: they reduce our liver's production of bad cholesterol, they cleanse our blood of the remnants of bad cholesterol, and, at the same time, as I told you, they repair cells. The strange and amazing thing is that even the people who used bergamot practically did not have any side effects in the studies. There may be mild digestive upset when the doses are higher. An important matter is its sources from food, as I told you, jam from the peel, but the jam will increase our sugars in this case, so the food source is not the best. Tea is a source, for example, Earl Grey tea is one of the teas that has added bergamot extract, which gives it its distinctive flavor. But tea, in general, even if we want to drink tea as an extract, will not give us the amount of 500 to 1000 mg that we need a day. Therefore, the supplement I chose contains this ratio without any taste problems or stomach upset. Generally, it is important to take it half an hour before a meal to increase absorption. All the links are put, if you need them, for the channel members, the method of taking, the food sources, how to consume them, and the most reliable sources that I could choose for the channel members. You can pause the episode and do a scan if you need these links.

Well, now we know the complete mixture, but there is an important matter, and a special request, do not stop your medication without the doctor's opinion, especially in four cases: if you have diabetes, why? Because if you have diabetes, we need to lower bad cholesterol to less than 60, and the reason is that all scientific evidence, and you know me, I research the scientific evidence, and not all of them convince me, but we know beyond any doubt that in cases of diabetes and severe high blood pressure, the risk of clots, God forbid, is very high if the medication is stopped. The second matter is, of course, the person who has previously suffered from strokes in the heart or brain or has stents, using cholesterol medications protects against stent blockage in all studies and reduced mortality by three to four times in people who use them after strokes. Severe kidney disease is the third case. When I talk about severe kidney disease, I don't mean a little decrease or fatigue in the kidneys. I mean that the kidneys' ability to excrete toxins has become less than 30%. In this case, I strongly advise using medications and not stopping them except with the doctor's opinion. The last and most important case is hereditary high cholesterol. I showed you three tests on the screen that you can do yourself for your blood with your doctor to find out if you have hereditary high cholesterol or not. Not using the medication exposes us to a severe risk because hereditary high cholesterol, if not treated with medication, usually doubles, God forbid, the risk of clots and arterial blockage, and at a very young age. We sometimes see it at the beginning of the thirties. So in these four cases, please do not stop the medication, especially not without consulting your doctor.

So we finished, and what remains is the champion of will. Therefore, we have reached your questions. You deserve the answers. Of course, I will try to start from the beginning. Excuse me if I am slow in answering your question. Nujood said it's clear. Noura said it's clear, thank God. Swiss Miss sent me three hearts. May God open up for me and for her. Wissam, I am happy, my dear, I missed you all, God. If the preparations are available, God will keep you, doctor, for all that you present in terms of advice and information. I am afflicted with triglycerides, I am committed to eating and taking medication, but, Glory be to God, every year you are in good health, wellness, and safety, Lord. May He heal you and keep you safe, every year you are fine. The plan for you is triglycerides; the dietary system we recorded, the exercise, if you do it, will lower it by 15 additional points. In your case, we will use omega-3 fatty acids plus the niacin and bergamot mixture. Dr. Sarmed, may God protect you, may He protect you. We are facing the ordeal of abstaining from these foods. This is a very important comment. We agreed from the beginning; this is a challenge. I started part of it; you saw I went from 6 to 4 in one month. I am asking for one month. The red list is completely stopped, and the blue list is used as a substitute. After the month, we return to our normal system. Our normal system is as follows; I don't need anything from you except commitment five days a week and two days a week eat as you like, so eat as you like. After that, this month, I need it because I promised you that we will lower it by more than a third and cure cholesterol in a month. By applying the dietary system with these treatments, we will be cured of cholesterol, God willing. But then, the goal is not starvation for life. This is a way to put our bodies on the right path. When we put our bodies on the right path, we return to our normal life, so we can enjoy the foods we love for two days a week. But five days a week, fear God. Aroob Al-Tal, may God give you health and wellness, doctor. May He heal you and protect you, Buba. Peace, our kind doctor, and peace and God's mercy be upon you. A question from Komari: Does barley bread raise sugar and cholesterol or not? The elevation is very slight compared to white bread. For me, it is one of the healthy substitutes that will lower sugar and cholesterol. Go ahead. Rania, Naksi Mohammed, greetings from Morocco. May God protect you and keep my family in Morocco safe. Ayesha, hello Ayesha. Can we take aspirin with niacin for heart patients? Yes, yes. The answer is yes. On the contrary, aspirin in this case, for niacin, which I showed you its type, is the type that causes heat and redness. Generally, there is no objection as long as the heart doctor does not object to the person. But on the contrary, aspirin and niacin are not prohibited, i.e., taking them together, and on the contrary, taking aspirin will reduce the feeling of heat. Of course, the second matter I talked about that reduces the feeling of heat is that if we take it at night and take it with a light meal like an apple, this will also reduce the feeling of heat and redness, and avoid spicy and hot foods. The only patients I had who could not tolerate niacin were always patients from India and Pakistan. These two absolutely cannot tolerate it because their food is absolutely not spicy. Maha, Ramadan Kareem to you, and may God keep you. Every year you are in good health. The sound is very clear, thank God, and peace and God's mercy be upon you. May He protect you and keep you safe, Fawzia Dada 24, I am using cholesterol-lowering capsules. There is no objection to using capsules. Therefore, I told you, you know the strongest natural treatments. Many great and excellent doctors are not wrong because all of medicine does not study these matters. Present it to your doctor. A doctor with an open mind will listen to you, and there is no objection to using them. Most of them are generally used with cholesterol-lowering medications. Umm Zeina, an ingenious question: Bergamot, isn't it the scent we use with Iraqi tea? Welcome back. You have lit up the channel. May God enlighten you. Bergamot indeed has a very, very distinctive aromatic scent. In Iraq, we often use Earl Grey tea, so it is indeed what is responsible for the special scent of this tea. And for the record, in the 18th and 19th centuries, cologne was also made from bergamot peel. 95% of production is in Italy, i.e., it is the pride of the Italians. This fruit, but now Southeast Asia also produces and grows the fruit, only around the Mediterranean Sea. Professor Sadeq Jaafar, doctor, I don't have cholesterol, but doctors insist on taking fat medication because I have heart problems. Professor Sadeq, in the presence of heart problems, of course, we specify the problems. Severely elevated blood pressure is one of the problems that require medication, and the presence of previous heart attacks or angina pectoris requires medication for the reason we talked about. Normal cholesterol, we talked about a person with normal cholesterol, for example, less than 100, or less than, let's say, 3.2 according to the laboratory and according to the laboratory. With heart problems, the limit of normal cholesterol becomes half, so cholesterol must be lowered to less than 60, for example, in the units used in the Middle East, or less than 1.5 in the units used in Europe and Canada sometimes. This new normal limit is to protect the arteries from blockage. So, what is your blood test? If it is above 60, you may understand why your doctor is asking for medication. But I also say that if you do not have a previous heart attack, these natural treatments and dietary methods may lower cholesterol below 60, even if cholesterol is indeed normal. I hope I answered your question. Dina, may God grant you success, doctor, for this valuable information, and may He protect and keep you safe. Zeina, bergamot. Yes, I answered the question; it is indeed a very intelligent observation. Dr. Hani, one of the great doctors in the United Kingdom, may God protect you there. There is a new study that says that cholesterol is not the cause of clots. This study is not that recent. I presented this study in last week's live broadcast, which was done about eight months ago. The study is not new. The study was as follows: people who had high bad cholesterol, which we consider bad, i.e., if we say 5.5, we have exceeded about 250 LDL, died ten years earlier. People who had very low bad cholesterol, i.e., we talk about 1.5 or less, also died ten years earlier. People who lived the longest possible time after suffering from the disease in tens of thousands of patients, tens of thousands of patients in Scandinavian countries, the people who lived the longest were those whose cholesterol levels were 3.2 or about 90 or 100 according to the units. So, bad cholesterol's ability to cause death is controversial in studies, but the role of bad cholesterol in causing certain problems for the heart and brain is currently under study. Currently, we are exploring the depths of the role of immunity in causing these matters, i.e., that our immunity betrays us and attacks the arteries, causing clots, for example, in the heart or brain. Bad cholesterol is like the thief in the neighborhood; whenever a house is robbed, another house is robbed; it is always present. The relationship is undoubtedly certain. But until the completion of recent studies, the reality remains that bad cholesterol, especially triglycerides and their effect on the pancreas, especially in cases of previous clots, kidney disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure, is a killer. But before these things happen, we can try to deal with it at most with natural treatments, and this is what I did with 3000 of my patients who witness it. Dr. Hani helped lower the percentage of LDL. A question for Dr. Saif, what is your opinion on bone broth? Possible, possible, but I currently know only one study about it, and I clarified the decrease, if I'm not mistaken from memory, i.e., it was around 10 to 12%. I will review the study later, God willing, with you. Madam Na, the most important thing is that the lifestyle is healthy and very correct. Correct, Duaa. Zeina, doctor, if a person cannot exercise, how about that? This is the ingenious question that I answered for you. Leave it; the system in this episode, the dietary system plus the natural treatments alone, will lower bad cholesterol by more than a third in four to five weeks, even without exercise. Exercise is difficult for an elderly person; we don't need it. I answered the question. Bone broth, doctor, it is prohibited in this case. I am not for bone broth; it has two aspects. Therefore, general talk is difficult in medicine. If we talk about supporting, for example, cartilage, it has a beautiful and important role. But in general, bone broth is not among the foods known to be proven to lower triglycerides and LDL cholesterol. I took salmon oil; it rose to 120. First, this is a very important observation from Sanaa. If we talk about salmon or salmon oil, it contains omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are miraculous in lowering triglycerides. But in a number of people, these are not common cases but they exist, it is studied, it may cause an increase of up to 5% in LDL, which we call LDL. A second important matter is that the best source of omega-3 fatty acids may not be fish, but an oil called algal oil or algae oil. I did not include this in the presentation for one reason only: its being very expensive. Because I always try to find a natural treatment, I try to make its price the lowest possible price with the highest possible quality. But in my view and opinion, the best source of omega-3 fatty acids is algal oil. You can put this in the comments if you need it; I will try to find a link for you. And, of course, a source of omega-3 fatty acids is very important, so choosing with a doctor is important. Therefore, I put certain links because not every manufacturer of omega-3 fatty acids is correct. We need it to contain EPA, in your case only, and not contain, for example, omega-6. This is very important, and not contain DHA. EPA in your case will lower even LDL or at least not cause an elevation. These are deeper details about omega-3 fatty acids. Ado from Algeria, may God protect you and protect my family in Algeria. I have slightly elevated sugar

Which can cause a tank elevation, but the most common reason is that diabetes is not properly controlled. Increased Ragdah, thank you, doctor. Excuse me, Mazm J. Of course, a member of the channel, supporting the channel. Thank you very much. Priority in answers always.

Reema, please, is total cholesterol of 7.14 good? Because the doctor told me it's high. Yes, well, it's high. What is total cholesterol? It is the sum of good cholesterol and bad cholesterol. The devil is in the details. For example, let's say that good cholesterol, HDL, is double the normal amount. You eat nuts, walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts. You like salmon, tuna, and sardines. You eat mackerel and walk correctly. Good high cholesterol will be very high, so total cholesterol will increase. But, for example, if your good cholesterol is normal and there is an increase in low-density cholesterol or triglycerides, and this led to an increase in total cholesterol, then this is an increase that requires treatment in this case.

Maryam, good evening, O best of doctors. Ramadan Mubarak. Mazm, may God be generous to you and reward you. Vitamin D3 and vitamin K, I think the goal is to take them together at the same time, or should we separate them? According to what I read, one is taken in the morning and the other is taken at night. Thank you. May God bless you. I have no objection to taking them together. I don't see any danger in taking them together. In general, the only important thing is that when taking vitamin D, we try to take it with healthy fats. For example, whole-wheat bread, toast, and a little olive oil. These are healthy fats. Avocado, these are healthy fats. Almonds, walnuts, and hazelnuts, these are healthy fats. These will increase the absorption of vitamin D.

Akram, Akram, it hit the wound. Type 1 diabetes, is it intestinal infiltration because of it? It attacks the immune system's insulin-producing cells. This is one of the theories currently being researched. Yes, it is one of the theories currently being researched. But in general, the causes are many, but death is one. The problem is that, for example, let's talk about a patient who has intestinal infiltration. The treatment of intestinal infiltration sometimes involves, of course, beneficial bacteria in certain types, and we use certain types of natural anti-inflammatories, and we even sometimes use antibiotics. With experience, Hassan had an improvement in sugar levels, but he was not completely cured of diabetes. Of course, this is an answer for a future episode because our topic today is cholesterol.

Request, Doctor, request. Is it necessary to take vitamin D with vitamin K2? I answered this question.

Jean-Luc, peace be upon you, Doctor. And upon you be peace and the mercy and blessings of God. Please, my mother, her age is 67. She was fine, and suddenly she got sick, and she had high blood sugar, weak kidneys, high cholesterol, gout, and the right thyroid gland is sluggish even with medication and a diet. Although she eats healthy, she has weakened. Well, frankly, the question is one. In this case, before all this happened, did the mother go through a period of severe anxiety and stress or not? And we should review what is called healthy food, because the expression is very loose. I myself told him, I myself, my profession, and I saw my cholesterol reach six. I myself thought that the food was healthy, and when I reviewed myself, I discovered that the food was not healthy, so I had to make healthy food. But I always mention that stress scientifically increases one of the very dangerous hormones and substances called cortisone and cortisol, which is proven to increase sugar. So, suddenly, unexpectedly, her sugar increased. This caused inflammation and disruption in the immune system. The most important question is, was there a shock or stress?

God bless you and protect you. Thank you very much for this information and the effort you put in, and may He keep you and protect you and exalt you. Thank you.

Wissam, Doctor, does gallbladder removal increase the risk of high cholesterol? Sometimes, but slightly. Does this mean there are hundreds of thousands of patients who had their gallbladders removed and did not experience an increase in bad cholesterol? Yes, but there are patients who experienced an increase in bad cholesterol. But before we blame gallbladder removal, let's review the diet.

Sanaa, peace be upon you, our esteemed doctor. Can propolis lower LDL levels? Not effectively.

Miss Maysaa, we are always proud of you. I always feel comfortable watching your videos. God bless you. I feel at ease with you. May God keep you.

Suso Al-Khaldi, may God protect you, Doctor, and keep you safe and healthy. Thank you.

Reema, I apologize. I meant to say total cholesterol is 1.74. The most important thing for me is not total cholesterol at all. I don't look at total cholesterol in my patients. I look at good cholesterol and I look at the harmful components of LDL and I look at triglycerides. Total cholesterol is the sum of the details, so the details are more important.

Habiba, Doctor, 5 j'ai crus je prend magnum comm cons. Habiba asked in French. She says, "I take cholesterol medication, which is called Crestor." Crestor is a drug scientifically known as rosuvastatin, and it is one of the strongest drugs for lowering bad cholesterol. She says she has muscle pain and takes magnesium, and that's right. Taking magnesium helps and protects the muscles from muscle inflammation caused by the medication. What is the solution, Doctor?

The answer I gave her is that if you are taking Crestor and you are forced to take cholesterol medication, first, Crestor is replaced with an equivalent drug in potency, which is called atorvastatin. Sometimes this change improves muscle inflammation. That's the first issue. The second issue is that muscles must always be protected with triple therapy: magnesium, in addition to vitamin D, in addition to coenzyme Q10. This trinity should protect the muscles when taking cholesterol medications. If the drug is replaced with another and it is not enough, reduce the potency of the drug to a second type called pravastatin. If you don't need the drug, meaning you don't have kidney weakness, you don't have diabetes, you don't have, God forbid, previous strokes in the heart and brain, and you don't have hereditary high cholesterol, discuss with your doctor the use of natural treatment. Use fermented red rice with niacin and bergamot. This is the detailed answer to your question.

Mohammed, every year and you are in good health. And you are in good health, mercy, and wellness. Mohammed, my dear.

John, yes, she went through a lot of anxiety. This answer is true because we don't see any other explanation for this sudden case after a long life. May God protect her. Reduce her anxiety as much as possible, because we ourselves don't reduce our anxiety. In general, our environment helps us reduce anxiety. From experience, flax seeds reduce triglycerides very well. Therefore, my breakfast every day is three teaspoons of flax seeds, two tablespoons of Greek yogurt, and one large tablespoon of honey. This can be breakfast or Suhoor, and this has a tremendous ability to reduce not only triglycerides, but it also reduces even low-density LDL. It reduces both types of cholesterol. For women and girls, it also has an additional benefit; it is a stimulant and increases estrogen, the female hormones. Of course, men, don't worry; the two spoons in the morning won't change your estrogen.

Sarah, if the tests prove that it is hereditary, what should be done in this case? In this case, I strongly recommend consulting a specialist in pediatric endocrinology exclusively. And in this case, from my experience in internal medicine, using very small doses of cholesterol medications for protection may be advised, of course, after applying all natural methods first. If cholesterol reaches a level lower than the normal limit, we don't need to start medication immediately, but we try to adjust cholesterol as much as possible, but in the long run, with hereditary high cholesterol, of course, these matters will change after two years. Medicine is currently in a revolution, but currently, with an endocrinologist, a very small dose of cholesterol medication may be suggested.

Akram, Doctor, your advice for a type 1 diabetes patient whose cumulative is less than 6, but cholesterol is high at 250. Your advice: I want to lower cholesterol naturally without medication. Details are in this episode. But this challenge, I told you this, you are from the family of the channel, the family of the channel. You are not weak-willed; your will is strong. Apply the system, prove to the doctor that this 250 was reached. Maybe we reached 130, we reduced it by half. But at 250, you won't see a doctor who won't tell you to take medicine. This is not a doctor who wants to harm you; this is a doctor who loves you, is afraid for you, wants to protect you. The presence of diabetes increases the risk to the arteries. But if we do a natural system that we discussed with him and followed up with the doctor, meaning we didn't agree on natural treatment and went to see the doctor yesterday, and then went back to see the doctor in 2026. This doctor will be upset with you because there is no follow-up to protect you. So, if we apply the system and reduce it by half, we can possibly overlook it and follow up harder. God willing, you will come to Iraq. God is merciful.

Jabali, Jabali, Doctor, my husband's bad cholesterol is 11.5. I think we're talking about mmol/L, and the good one is 20%. Can you give me advice, please?

Doctor, it's difficult to advise without knowing the complete medical file. Does he have diabetes? Does he have high blood pressure? Does he have hereditary high cholesterol? Does he have, God forbid, previous strokes in the heart or brain? This number means medication. This amount of bad cholesterol, if we are talking about low-density cholesterol, means starting medication. I'm not talking about the rest of his life, but starting medication until cholesterol is lowered to safer levels. With natural treatments, we adjust the diet. We can even use, Yasmine, we can even use bergamot with the doctor. When we reach three or four, we stop the medication and continue with natural treatments. But 11.5, we're talking about danger. I was at six, and I was at risk of a heart attack. He is at very high risk.

Umm Ali, please, Doctor, do patients with low blood pressure fast? Yes, they can fast, but on the condition that food and nutrition are adjusted to prevent blood pressure from dropping. Of course, this is a discussion for another episode, and it's not a cholesterol episode. But the most important part is strong coffee at breakfast and eating healthy salts like sea salt or Himalayan salt in the amount of a teaspoon in the morning, also with Suhoor, to maintain blood pressure and drinking at least two mugs of water at Suhoor and eight glasses of water between breakfast and Suhoor. Of course, God does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. If we make these changes and dizziness and blood pressure drop persist, then there is no need to fast.

Salma, treatment for colon polyps inflammation. This is another episode. Salma, today's episode is about cholesterol.

Akram, does elevated liver enzymes cause sweating during sleep? Not directly. But liver inflammation is part of body inflammation, and any inflammation in the body increases heat and may increase sweating. But sweating can occur from other chronic inflammations, such as tuberculosis, for example, rheumatic diseases, for example, cases related to, God forbid, cancers. These can cause night sweats. But especially for women, sometimes postmenopausal syndrome may be the main cause. Treatment depends on the cause. But fatty liver, for example, as a cause of increased enzymes, is not a reason; inflammation must be investigated.

Badi'a from France, I have arthritis and iron stores of 465, and I recently got type 2 diabetes. Currently, I have tests and a scan to see if there is a blockage in the heart arteries because I went through an episode of oxygen disturbance, and I have problems with flow. Everything that is said is a dietary catastrophe. Badi'a, a dietary catastrophe. You must completely review your diet, and I have no objection to eating tons of food every day, but only the right type of food, because these are all symptoms of poor diet. The first step with any doctor, me or anyone else, any doctor who studies or teaches from a reputable university will review your diet. This is the first step. May God protect you.

Aisha, Reema, please, my husband always complains of muscle pain and can no longer do any effort. Do you recommend any supplements? First, do an important blood test called CK, international CK, or LD, or ASI. We must make sure there is no muscle inflammation resulting from an autoimmune disease similar to rheumatic diseases. This is first. Second, review all your husband's medications in detail, because most medications are toxic to muscles. We need to know the cause before giving treatments and supplements. One of the most helpful things for muscles may be magnesium, vitamin D, and K. Yes, it's possible. But if there is muscle inflammation and the muscle inflammation is immune, we must treat the problem in the immune system. Or if there is a drug that poisons the muscles, it must be stopped.

Excellent. Dina, CoQ10, exactly, a request. Can I take bile salt supplements as a preventive measure? Meaning, is prevention better than cure in this case? No, we must know what we are treating. I don't have a single patient to whom I give bile salts because it's elevated because, for example, elevated bile salts, we must know what the symptoms are because its accumulation can also be a problem.

Nagham Mohammed, please, Doctor, my husband has low good cholesterol. How do we raise it? Omega-3, omega-3 fatty acids, either from food. Increase your eating of salmon, tuna, sardines, mackerel, and increase nuts, almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, and flax seeds. These are very excellent sources. And of course, walking. These are only these two groups. During the week, the five days I am committed to, salmon once or twice, flax seeds daily in the morning, sardines, sardines weekly. And this actually led to an increase in my good cholesterol from 0.9 to nearly two, which is double the normal amount, and in a period that did not exceed six months.

Zeina, I have an allergy to flax seeds. What is the alternative? May God protect you. Chia seeds are very similar. But if our goal is to obtain omega-3, its sources from fish are great.

Dina, flax seeds, do they affect thyroid nodules? It is possible, but their effect is not on the nodules; their effect is on thyroid medications, and this is a topic for another episode that I discussed in an episode on treating hypothyroidism. In my opinion, it is not a problem to take flax seeds, but we try to put two hours between them and taking thyroid medication.

Badi'a from France, for a while, I have felt heat in the soles of my feet with pain. Is this a result of diabetes or heart artery blockage? It is usually caused by nerve fatigue from high blood sugar, nerve fatigue, and a deficiency in vitamins B1, B2, B6, B9, and B12. These two important issues: examining the nerves and reviewing B vitamins.

Badi'a, request, Doctor, what is the best dietary supplement to lower cholesterol, bergamot or berberine? If we are going to take only one, only one, berberine alone lowers 20%. Bergamot, recently, we have noticed that this mixture, and therefore, I told you this natural mixture is the strongest ever. The mixture of niacin and bergamot together lowers bad cholesterol by up to 50%. Bergamot showed that there is a decrease, meaning a decrease in four weeks. It depends on our method. Our program today is to lower cholesterol in a month. We use the strongest possible mixtures. The bergamot and niacin mixture is the strongest, without a doubt. But if our goal is to lower it over 12 weeks, berberine can have a tremendous effect. And secondly, berberine has effects on sugar, as you remember, Raghad.

I think the question is related to trying to strengthen bones because she suffers from osteoporosis. Is Calci Boost, Calci Boost, a mixture of vitamin D and calcium supplements? Raghad, I will give you a very short summary. Review magnesium, review vitamin D, review vitamin K2, and review boron. Boron is a strange, rare mineral. But boron is the adhesive that increases the absorption of calcium and vitamin D. This quintet will protect your bones, even though this was not the topic of the episode.

Kumoon, Kumoon, I have insulin resistance and high cholesterol, and my stomach has suddenly increased, as if I were pregnant. What is the cause? In most cases, insulin resistance is the cause, and the episode on diabetes and insulin resistance is coming.

Habiba, thank you, Doctor. J'ai bon le vitamine.

Ramadan Kareem. And to you too. Sanaa asks, is she at risk with low-density lipids of 1.14 and good lipids of 0.66 and triglycerides? No, you are not at risk, but you need to increase omega-3 in your diet, as we discussed previously.

Doctor, my eyes, a thousand blessings on your parents. Is it true that there are treatments to restore youth, like the whole or return it, and I have poor circulation and heart problems. Please answer me.

Yes, there are treatments. Yes, and this is a very large topic currently being prepared. And there are revolutionary treatments discovered, but their use is currently prohibited, and there are future treatments. But there are very effective treatments for prolonging youth. The aim is longevity from God's hand, but to prolong youth, maintain the skin, maintain the hair, and maintain the joints. These are really available.
