Transiting Mercury to natal Pluto

Truth In Aspect Astrology/ Jewel42:28

Transcription

And this can be beneficial, and it can be extremely wasteful. We know that Pluto represents waste, and how we can get extremely caught up, or, um, meshed by one train of thought, but something that has been lost, and we're trying to recover. This is common with any of the transits between Mercury and Pluto. But sometimes that recovery can be a good thing. Sometimes we're wasting our time, we're wasting our energy. Um, so we have the chance for really good gains when we get the best out of these, and significant weights when we get the worst out of these transits.

So we are looking beneath the surface any time we have a Mercury aspect Pluto in the natal chart or a Mercury aspect Pluto in transit. We are digging for what of the solution is, and we can be seized by suspicion, more common the difficult transits. So with the conjunction, we have the meeting of stimulating mental activity, messages, and Pluto. Remember, Mercury is the messenger, hearing these messages from Pluto, these messages from the deep, these messages that come from the shadow, that come from our reservoir of anxiety and desire, that usually comes out of that anxiety. Uh, we are trying to find out what is real, and this can be a very enlightening week. It can also be a week where we are steeped in conspiracy and wasting our time thinking that we have special knowledge.

This can be the effect of any of the hard transits of Mercury to Pluto. We might find out some significant facts. We might, but what we find out that's really true is most often related to us. If we're finding things out that we think are true under the hard transits that are about what's out there, or about what's going on with others, or about what must be the truth of something external to us, we are often going to be wrong. We need to turn our suspiciousness onto ourselves when we have the hard transits. We need to look at why is it that I think that, or believe that, or see that, or think that I see that? Where is that coming from? How does that serve me? What am I getting out of that?

We can make a lot of headway when it comes to solving some of our deep problems of what we're really motivated by. We can find that out when we have the conjunction, the square, opposition, the other aspects too. But, um, we really need to look at how we may be victimizing ourselves instead of thinking that we are the one that, you know, has the access to all the same information that everybody else does, that we just have the best way, or the most correct way, or the most pure or truthful way of interpreting it, and therefore we know the truth. These can actually be quite humiliating transits if we really look at why we have an idea of specialness about ourselves. What does that really serve? It's often serving here. Do your frozen case you never mind, you just came back when I said that. Sorry.

We can be so convinced of our special abilities, and we can be extremely convincing. But also strangely, we can be easily convinced by those we think have special information. So there's a, um, there's really a potential for lacking insight into why we choose to believe a deep truth. But there's this other potential that, you know, if we turn that light of suspicion on ourselves, we may figure out where some of our own insecurities and demons lie, be able to fix that, and lose interest in exposing something on the outside of ourselves. We can get into power struggles of opinion, mental power struggles, power struggles, um, concerning problem-solving. And because we're so convinced that we have the deeper, Katie, we're talking about Mercury Pluto transits today. Mercury transits Pluto. We on the conjunction, sorry, Jewel, but you froze before you, um, were talking to Katie. You left off on, "We can be convinced that we have the deeper." And then it froze.

We have the deeper understanding, the deeper truth, the deeper knowledge, and that makes it very difficult to argue with us. It makes it very difficult to allow for meaningful educational conversation because we feel like we have the deep insights. We can be unwilling to hear what, um, what we can term as superficial, or as less form, or as stupid. So other people can be looking at us like we are just unreachable or unteachable on this day. We can be looking at other people like they are just not able to understand what the real reality is because they are just thinking on the surface. So it is there is a very interesting circular stupidity that can happen with this conjunction, um, or anything. Yes, that we think that we have. Yes, Katie. Any of those topics that we think that we have the, you know, the better information to anything that, uh, yeah, is, uh, out there and suspicious in the public, are yet unsolved.

All right, so that brings us to the sex tile. So looking at the sex tile, um, we're all about solving, coming to solutions, looking beneath the surface. Anytime we have Mercury aspect to Pluto with the sex tile, we can make a lot of progress when it comes to getting to the bottom of things without thinking the worst. Um, interpreting clues more in a way that's not so much in service to dealing with our death anxiety or unexamined motivations. We're really honest with ourselves, our, um, selfishness, insecurity, blah, blah, blah, our Pluto stuff. Uh, it's less likely that we're going to get, you know, into the weeds in a way that is not helpful. We can solve problems, come to solutions, solve puzzles, follow clues. We're excellent detectives. Um, we should definitely, definitely schedule all days that we go to vote when we have a collective Mercury Pluto sex tile in the air. It would be very helpful. So we're more likely to be able to pinpoint, yeah, what is the truth of something and to be able to act on it. Um, to be able to even change our thinking, adjust our thinking because sex tiles are about curiosity, they're about openness, they're about invitation of input, invitation of. They're about community in inviting help, seeing that input, um, help. They're up third house of Gemini, Mercury themselves, seeing the input and, um, hands-on help is extremely beneficial. So these are inclusive aspects. We are likely to ask good questions, and we might decide to accept the answers because curiosity can often win out over wanting to be right. It can win out over the ego because we can see that, oh wait, accepting this information and not, um, thinking in importance to preserving my ego, that's what actually me. Whoa, if only we could have these insights every day, right? We, we could be this curious every day. Um, the world, guess I guess you would be if you have it in the natal chart. It would be a side of yourself. Yes, yes. It is easier to change our opinion and our mind when we have the sex tile or the trine. Um, we are very persuasive and we make good arguments when we have this going on in transit and in the natal chart. Um, we can put what we figure out into practice. Practice makes perfect. Ah, we got somebody that's got a sharp mind here. Practice makes perfect. And there can be times, and we're going to get this one twice here, there can be times when we will figure something out or we will learn something and we keep it. It changes us. It alters us. You wouldn't think, you wouldn't think it. The sex tile, it seems so simple, but this is one where we can finally get something right. We can finally attract because again, transits indicate a change. Wall, sorry, Jewel, you froze. You said, okay, we are messenger can indicate a change in volatility is whatever we, um, we last heard, or at least I did.

All right, it indicates a change in frequency, and all transits are indicating a change in quality of frequency. And so the frequency that we are emitting is of curiosity and in invitation for solutions. So what we are putting out is what we are receiving. Um, we can really figure some out when we have the sex tile. It is a valuable, valuable trait. Okay, any questions about that? Had a question about the semisextile and how that would, I don't know if I can answer it, but I'll give you my opinion. Okay, that's cool. I like opinions. Oh, you just want me to just, okay, just give you my opinion about the semisextile. You didn't have more? No, nothing else. I was just curious about that particular. What do I know about it? What do you know about it? Yeah, like I watched, I haven't watched it much. So I, I can give you my theory, my opinion that is not based in concrete knowledge, okay, how it's supposed to work when we put the math together, and how it probably works. So semisextiles are the very beginning of a new cycle. So a, a very small difference in what we are thinking and learning and acquiring and the original, see, the original starting out point, the, um, the beginning of the cycle. So it's where we have a, often an unexpected conflict. All right, it's a, it's a mild conflict between what, uh, we think we know, uh, Mercury, the solutions that we're trying to come to, and the suspiciousness within ourselves. So well, let's look at it in the natal chart. It's it's like the, the minor in conjunct, a minor in conjunction where we are goddamn obsessed, often with what it is that we, um, that we don't yet know. It can be really a maximum amount of, uh, you, uh, narrow thinking or suspicious thinking. So we have some degree of that in the semisextile. So working through a week of some paranoia, um, not always knowing why, we may have a subtle fear, um, and not coming to very great lasting, um, solutions to problems, being more steeped in, uh, you know, mental anxiety, and then at the sex tile, having the opportunity to actually deal with that. All right.

So looking at the square, this is where we can become very single-minded, suspicious, preoccupied. We can get very much focused on something that is lost, um, a lost object, um, searching for something, and a lot of times we don't get anything lasting out this transit if we are, like with the opposition or the square, using it externally or, um, not turning that that magnifying glass upon ourselves. So being focused on finding something outside of ourselves is a subtle distraction from thinking about what is actually, uh, a source of anxiety or bother within us. So this can be a wasted transit for some of us if we're too afraid to really consider, um, what's actually really going on. We could just be focused on looking for that lost coat. But if we pull ourselves back and really say, you know what, it, it'll turn up when it turns up. Why does it mean so much to me? Why does it mean so much to us? So we need to turn that lens of suspicion upon ourselves and look at what our inner motivations are. Why is it that we want or need to know the answer to something so much? What are we getting out of it? And what is it about that lost object that, um, is, you know, what, what the hell is it? Why, why is it so important to us? It, it will turn up later, but what does it mean to us? So we really need to look at why are we doing what we're doing? We need to study ourselves, and we can come up with some really disturbing. That's why we're avoiding it. Disturbing but informative answers that may sting a bit. That's why we didn't know what we didn't know. But if we're willing to, you know, accept what it is that we find out from within, excellent. If we are unwilling to accept anything outside of ourselves as it apparently is, then that is very much, you know, a symptom of just being continually distracted by externalizing that suspicion. And a lot of us can go, you know, through this square really with our hands on our hips, looking around us like, why are there so many secrets? Or I am going to be the one that is gonna expose things this week, or I have had enough of this or that, and now is the time to speak up.

Um, uh, that's usually coming from ego. Very often we don't get things completely right when we have this square. Um, we could be very argumentative. We can have others be very argumentative. Our frequency is of, I am right. I need to force this in some way in order to avoid being dominated or enslaved. We will be receiving that same frequency. So the more that we can turn that lens upon ourselves, the better off we will be. Did you ever go? Did you guys ever see The Silence of the Lambs? There was that scene where, uh, Clarice Starling goes to visit Hannibal Lecter, and he gives her this, you know, amazing rundown about who she is, you know, points. And she says to him, wow, you got, you know, tremendous insight there. I wonder what would happen if you turned that high-powered analysis microscope upon yourself. That's what we want to do when we have this square. But be prepared to have to sit with some things that may burn again. Again, that is the nature of what we don't know that we don't know. A lot of times what's in our chest of, I don't want to know, are things that are, we, we don't want to know for a reason. You know, very often we don't open up that chest and, oh my God, I didn't know I had demons in there. I thought I thought I was a. We, um, we have to sit with some things that aren't always in tune how we like to think ourselves up. Katie, he is a very fascinating character, isn't he? Super fascinating.

All right, so that brings us to the trine. We might collectively have the trine if we did a composite between all of us. Oh, interesting. Katie points out that, uh, Anthony Hopkins for his study of that character, I based a lot of his body language on fire. Um, so when we're looking at trine, we are again concerned with death. We don't have the automatic suspiciousness and the assumption of wrongdoing when we have aspects, or more perspective, willingness to learn, curiosity. When we have the trine, very similar to the sex tile. Um, the sex tile though does have that very specific thing about it where we can gain some knowledge that can be quite life-changing, something that we bring with us causes some kind of mutation. The trine, we don't there so much associated with that bit of magic there, but we are gaining a lot of insight, information, perspective, things that can make us feel safer. We can expose some of our own secrets. We could find out what we're doing underneath, and it's easier to sit with that, to accept it, and just kind of laugh at our own frailties and stupidity. But, um, we are very distractable when it comes to outside things, like we are with the square or the other part. As we aren't, uh, so much concerned with exposing things outside of us that are wrong. There is more of a singular focus on one's own purpose. We know the trines are about purpose and vision. This is an excellent week for therapy, for starting therapy, for, um, anything that has to do with, uh, the sharing or conversation. How can we commune with another in such a way that can facilitate self-discovery? Great time to plan an ayahuasca trip or have a mushroom trip because the openness, the willingness, it is going to be a better trip, going to be something that's more positive rather than fearful because we don't have the mental resistance. So the focus on what is important or effective. I think that's the best thing that we get out of the trine. We still have the obsessiveness of quality, but it doesn't come with, um, a feeling like our attention is being stolen by something outside of ourselves that is, you know, fearful possibility, prospect. Uh, we can look for something that may be lost, something that may be unknown, but we have a much, much greater chance of actually finding it. So that lost jacket, um, where we're probably not going to find it under the other, under hard aspects, we're just going to be kind of obsessed with it. We may find it under the trine, and I think it has a lot to do with us being able to focus more on what is truly important. So whatever it is that we happen to be looking for does have more of a, it's something that is important. I think under the other hard aspects, it isn't so much, it's a distraction. So any questions about that before we move on to the opposition? You said it was a good, uh, transit to do, um, psychedelic drugs on? Yes. Okay. Interesting. Thanks. Because we're more open to the information. We don't have the mental resistance that can be there under the other hard aspects. Um, Jewel, what orb would you use for these, for this aspect, for these aspects? What, what orb would you roughly orb? Oh, gosh, well, Mercury moves fast, you know, about a degree a day, so we're going to feel this, you know, within five or seven days. So within five or seven degrees, and then we'll have this occurring, uh, in transit fully on one particular day. It's going to be about a three-day period of time in total, unless we have a retrograde Mercury happens to be going over our Pluto a couple of times. But, uh, to be really acute, you know, three-degree orb, but we're going to start to feel it, uh, within a week's time, and it'll be that whole week that this transit is occurring that will be marked by this in particular. Does that make sense? Yeah. Thank you.

Um, all right, opposition from Mercury to Pluto. This is probably the day that, uh, most elections actually are scheduled. It should be under the sex tile, in my opinion, um, because this opposition does represent feeling, uh, brainwashed or being a victim of propaganda in some way. We can ourselves be quite propagandist with the conjunction, square, or opposition, depending on how we are or are not steeped in our own suspicion. Um, this can be a very suspicious week. This can be a week where we are challenging very much outside of us what appears to be the truth. We can even get ourselves into trouble when it comes to challenging, uh, current beliefs or ideas or opinions. There can be a very knee-jerk reaction that we have to understand, um, within ourselves. When we have this opposition, um, most of us are not going to end up getting thrown in prison because we are, you know, engaging in sedition, but we are pushing the limits, um, you know, when it comes to what we normally would or wouldn't, what, what we normally wouldn't say. We do want to use this energy to look at ourselves very carefully. We can be very, very much focused on getting other people, um, institutions, anything outside of ourselves to give up the truth, damn it. And yeah, we might get some amount of information, um, out of people. We might find out some facts. We might, there is that possibility with the opposition, but very much of the time, we're getting carried away. We can really not fully understand the clues and answers and solutions, facts that we've learned. We will package them and see them in accordance to our own ego, our own need to be right, our own need to avoid insecurity stuff. So we can pervert facts, um, what is plain, um, you know, to fit our own need to be right or to avoid facing our own death anxiety. Um, so we can talk other people into things. We can be talked into things. We can be, uh, H, the word, yeah, convinced easily convinced, um, by others outside of ourselves. But we can really believe that those people outside of ourselves that are doing the convincing, you know, are the ones that have the real facts. Um, so yeah, dictators love to have this particular opposition, the in conjunction as well. We could be very dictatorial, and we can feel like now that's very much justified. Um, we have to be careful about being obsessed by something that's lost, something unknown, and ultimately wasting our week looking for for things, answers that are ultimately taking away our free will and our anxiety. Um, often times, you know, the belief in black and white thinking, dictatorial ideologies, that's where free will goes to die. But we can feel like or think it's time, it's the only path towards restoring it. El, we can finish up difficult projects with the opposition. Usually these are things that have been left hanging.
