Google Gemini just announced even more brand new changes for Notebook OM, their AI agent builder, Nano Banana 2, and so much more. By the end of this video, you're going to know about all these updates, how you could access them, and I'm going to share with you some crazy use cases you could use these things for.
Now, the first change that I want to show you is actually going to be on Gemini itself. Because now, if you come on to Gemini, you click on tools right here and click on Canvas, you could come over here to upload files or add files from your drive. For example, I have a 2024 business plan right here. And I'm going to say, "Please make a presentation out of this." And then what this is going to go ahead and do is this is actually going to generate a presentation for me. And this is honestly the best AI generated presentation that I've seen yet because they make it incredibly easy to be able to edit the presentation and they do something that even the best AI presentation tools aren't doing.
And to actually prove this to you, I wanted to pull up Gamma because a lot of people use Gamma in order to create things. And we could see that I just created this 28 minutes ago when I was preparing for this video. And what I did was uploaded the same exact file that I uploaded here. And I asked Gamma to create this same thing. Now, we could see that this went through and did this. But one part about this that I don't like is it made a bunch of different AI generated videos. And if I want to change anything here, I have to go through an AI agent and I'm going to ask it to change one thing and it's going to end up changing so many other things, which is not what I want to do. All I want is a simple presentation made off of the document, the PDF, or the research that I shared with it. And I don't really get that with this because it's overkill.
But if we come back over into Gemini, we could see that this very easily created this right here. And we could see that it created this with 13 different slides. Now, my favorite part about this is if we wanted to change anything, we just tell it right here to change things. Or you could also see right here that it actually added in custom images. And then at the end, it is actually going to tell us exactly where it got these images from. And we could see that it used multiple images that actually relate to what my slideshow is about. Now, if you wanted to have this have your brand colors or a certain font or certain font sizes or whatever you wanted, you could have put a more complex prompt in here and it would have actually done that for you. Or again, you could just ask it to change these things and it will instantly change them. And then straight from here, you could click on export the slides. And just like that, this is actually going to create these slides right here for you inside of Google Slides. So, you could come over here and change anything that you wanted to change. And if you haven't seen this yet, you also have Gemini inside of Google Slides now. And you can ask it to create things, to change things, to adapt things. And this is a seamless experience for you being able to create presentations now from straight inside of Gemini. And again, you could get this to actually do research, then create the PDF. You could get it to do research, then create the document. Or you could even upload videos to this and have it make a presentation off of the video. And Gemini is the only AI tool that right now that's actually able to do that.

The next change I wanted to highlight here is something that is coming to Notebook LM either this week or the week after and that is going to be customiz video overview. So you could see right here that you are going to be able to create video overviews but customize them way more. You're going to be able to describe a custom visual style that you want to. For example, you could get it to do something like an animated children's book. You could do something like anime. You could do something like '90s themed or '7s themed. And then you can actually change what the AI host is actually going to focus on. For example, you could say target a specific use case. You could get it to focus on a specific source or you could get it to describe the show structure in some specific way. But basically, you're going to be able to customize your video overviews even more.
Now, in addition to that, notebook just released a few other changes. So, if we come in here now, for example, I have this notebook about model, context, protocol, introductions. We could click on this right here. Now, you're going to be able to click on custom where you're going to be able to customize exactly what this notebook is doing. So, basically, you could have your notebook help you achieve different goals, do research, help you learn, show various perspectives, or converse in a specific tone. You just have to tell it exactly all of that right here. And literally all you have to do is basically write out system instructions for exactly how you want this notebook to actually interact with you. In addition to that, you can choose your response length down here. And you could choose between longer or shorter if you wanted to. And again, if we come over into video overview right here, you could see that this isn't fully customizable right now, but that other custom feature that I just showed you is coming incredibly soon. Right now, you can only choose a visual style and you can tell it what to focus on. But that further customization is likely going to drop either this week or next week for you.
Now, in addition to that, Opel, Google's AI agent builder is about to get a massive upgrade. So, if we come into this right now, we could see that we could generate whatever kind of AI agent that we want. But there's one massive thing that's missing. If we come over here into the console, you will be able to see that right now you don't have MCP. So if we come over here into user input, we could see that here. If we come into generate, we can see this here. If we come into output, we could see this here. And if we wanted to add assets, we would be able to add them like this. But there's no MCP server right now. But that is coming. And this is going to be a massive upgrade because this right here is 100% free. You literally just come over here, click on create new, tell it what you want to create. for example, a thumbnail generator. And then this is going to go off and this will actually build out everything that needs to be created in order to make an AI agent that built you custom YouTube thumbnails. And here's what this is actually going to look like. You're going to be able to see that you're going to be able to come in here and you're going to see manage MCP servers. From here, you'll be able to add in new MCP servers, or you could connect it to the obvious ones with Google, like your Google calendar, your Gmail, your Google Drive, or you'll be able to add in a custom MCP server if you click right here. If you have a custom MCP that you want this agent to be able to actually hook up with, and then when you come back over here, this is what it's actually going to look like. You're going to be able to see that you'll be able to search through this, and you'll be able to see all your different tools. They have search web, search maps, get a web page, get weather, code execution. You're going to be able to find things in your drive. You're going to be able to send emails, and you're going to be able to take whatever other actions come with the MCP servers that you go through and actually hook up to this.
Now, the next update I want to talk about is around Nano Banana 2. So, we can see right here, this is what it is going to look like when it's finally released. You're going to be able to click on this little banana image. You're then going to be able to upload and edit your images. Now, if you want to actually create an image, nanobanana isn't the best thing to do. Instead, you should be doing this. You should be coming over into a studio. You want to click on chat right here. You want to come over to images and you want to use Imagen 4 Ultra. This is their latest image generation model and it has significantly better text rendering and better overall image quality. For example, we could come over here. We could click on this and we could say, I want to make a thumbnail for a YouTube video about a C8 Corvette. Put text that says C8 Corvette overview. And then I'm just going to come over here. I'm going to fix these spelling and grammar mistakes. We're going to click on run. And now this is going to go through and this is going to generate this image. Imagen 4 Ultra is by far the best image generation model that Google has right now. And then again, Nano Banana is the best, but there's a massive upgrade coming to that. And we can see exactly what this looks like right here. We could download it. We could copy it. We could export it to Drive. We could see it in a large view. This looks really great. Now, if I wanted to edit anything about this, I would just download this. Then I would come over here and instead of clicking on generate media, I'm gonna want to click on try Nano Banana right here. and then Nano Banana and this is going to be the best image editing tool.
Then I do have one other massive update for you right here. We could see that it looks like Gemini 3 Pro is coming out in November. This just got released right here and this says our most advanced reasoning Gemini model to solve complex problems and it looks like the context window is going to be over 1 million. And this is going to be releasing very very soon and I am incredibly excited for this. Once this does final release, I'm going to go through and actually make a fulllength video on it.
