King of righteousness, king of peace, one who is the high priest and the apostle of our faith. As the book of he as the book of Ephesians 1 says, "And you have been given a name above all name and you are head of the church and in all things." Lord, you have authority. All things come under your rule. >> Lord, we thank you for your headship. We thank you for your word. We thank you for spiritual alignment >> for Jesus Christ is under the father. You reveal the mind of Christ all things that were given by the father and the son. You come is the spirit of truth to release to guide. Lord, you also lead us. You lead us into all truth. You're the comforting presence, but you're also the convicting presence. You convict the world of sin. And Lord, you bring judgment. You convict of judgment. For the ruler of this world has been judged. And Lord, it's in that place of your jud, not our judging, your judging. >> Lord, where you said to the disciples, he said, "I saw Satan fall to the ground like lightning. I saw him being hurled down. But do not rejoice that demons are subject to you or obey you. Rejoice that your name >> is written >> in my book, the Lamb's book of life. So Lord, we thank you for salvation. We thank you for your righteousness, your holiness, and Lord, that your word sets free. You abide in my word, Jesus said, and the truth. and you abide in my word and my word abide in you, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. We thank you for that in Jesus holy name. Amen. >> Amen. Turn to a few people, tell them you're glad that they're here and you can be seated in the presence of the Lord. That never happens. >> That's awesome. This is Wonderful. >> You guys are a lively bunch. That's awesome. I'd like you to turn in your Bibles if you would this morning. I'd like you to turn in your Bibles to 1st Samuel 9. 1st Samuel chapter 9. I'm going to be using >> Oh, >> yes. But he had them from last night. So, we're we're in the notes that we were from last night, bud. Sorry about that. We're going to pick up where we left off last night, the first session, and then we're going to change the notes that she gave you will be for the following sessions after this. So, just so you know. All right. Big hallelujah came from the booth right there. All right. Very good. All right, 1st Samuel 9. We're going to deal with the life of King Saul for a bit. A lot of people teach on Saul and and rightly so. Saul represents a lot of things that that that could have happened or how do I say this? He represents what God wanted to do in the heart and mind of man. And what happens is we begin to see mindsets come in Saul that he partners with things that removes not only his destiny but actually removes the anointing from his life. >> And it's a big deal because again I would point us to 1 Corinthians chapter 10 saying these things were written down for us on whom belong the end of the ages. There's there's a reason that God wants us to look at these encounters of the Lord's people, especially with the prophets, especially with the anointing, and understand, excuse me, you'll forgive my voice. I'm giving it I feel like uh Star Trek here. The I'm giving her all she's got, Captain. All right. But, uh, anyway, uh, we're going to take a look at Saul and kind of take a look at a couple of things because I I I'm going to read this passage. We're going to come at it from a little bit different angle than probably how you've read it before. I want you to begin to pick up what is in the text and begin to see how this spirit works because the Lord is actually unmasking a spirit in this text. Kish was a rich and influential man from the tribe of Benjamin. His son Saul was the most handsome man in Israel. Head and shoulders taller than anyone else in the land. Now, that's a pretty good start. You're tall. You have hair. You're you're you're rich. >> Yeah. And there you go. And you're handsome. I mean, there's that's some Saul swag right there going on, right? I mean I mean he he daddy's done well. Son has now grown at the, you know, power and strength and he's tall. Everybody recognizes him. Uh, one day Saul's dad kisses donkeys straight away. And he told Saul, "Take a servant with you and go look for them." But he couldn't find the donkeys anywhere. Now, I'm just going to tell you right now, as a farm kid, you know that this guy was rich because my dad would have never said, "Take a hired guy with you to go do what I told you to do." So you need to understand right from the text that God is giving you a platform in black and white to understand that Saul grew up having favor, having blessing, having everything that was available to him in the natural. There wasn't one thing that he lacked. But they couldn't find the donkeys anywhere. Saul said to his servant eventually, "Let's go home." Now listen, this is Saul's own words from his mouth. My father will be more worried about us than the donkeys. So right there from the beginning, we see that Saul understood that his dad loved him. >> This wasn't an abuse factor. This wasn't a dad doesn't care about me. No, dad sent a servant with Saul. And now Saul comes to the senses after they've been looking for him. We better just go home. Even though the donkeys were important to dad, I'm his priority. >> Come on. That's what it's saying. And then it says, "So my father would be more worried about the donkeys." And then I skip ahead. So they entered a town. And I I skip ahead quite a bit and we come to Samuel. And Samuel, they entered a town and the prophet Samuel was coming toward them to climb a hill. And Samuel noticed Saul. And the Lord said, "That's the man that I told you about. He will rule my people." Just then Saul approached Samuel at the gateway and asked, "Can you please tell me where the seer's house is?" Samuel said, "I am the seer." And the seers said to him before Saul said anything and don't worry about those donkeys that were lost 3 days ago, they have been found. I am here to tell you that you and your family are the focus of all of Israel's hopes. And Saul replied, "Now listen, but I'm only from Benjamin, the smallest tribe in Israel, and my family is the least important of all the families in that tribe. Why are you talking to me like this?" I want you to hear it. What was the setup that the Lord said in the beginning? influential, wealthy, handsome, tall, head and shoulders of the tribe of Benjamin. Now, we have to go and we have to just do a little bit of historical biblical background because if you don't, you're going to miss the significance of this. At this point in time, what had happened to Benjamin in Israel's history? What had happened to Benjamin? Benjamin, the whole tribe had deeply rebelled against God. So when you read the book of Judges, one of the things that God had to do toward the end of the book of Judges, there was such perversion that had taken place in Benjamin that when they came to the town where Benjamin was, and it's one of the most I've always thought, this is a side note, but I always thought if we were to actually make a movie of the things that took place in the Bible, Most Christians wouldn't go see it because it would be NC17. >> It really would. >> Yeah. >> Because in the passage that I'm talking about, the man had brought his concubine and the men of the city wanted to ravage both of them. And he put his concubine outside the door and they ravaged her all night. And she died in the morning with her hands on the threshold of the door. And as a sign of wickedness, he then took her. It sounds morbid, and it is. And he cut her up in 12 pieces. And he sent a piece of her to all the tribes of Israel. That's in your Bible. >> I don't know if you've ever read that, but you should read all the parts. In that process, all of Israel gathered against Benjamin because of the wickedness. Because these were men of wickedness. They had allowed, and I'm going to say this carefully, but I'm going to say it straight. They had allowed spirits of sodomy, homosexuality, and perversion to operate in Israel. And because it was of the same level that God would eventually end up dealing with Sodom and Gomorrah. And this this man sent the pieces of this concubine as a representative of the great defilement and the assignment that was in the tribes of Israel. already. We're talking judges now. We're talking just a few gener one generation plus past, maybe two past them getting in the promised land. >> Yeah. And so all of Israel rallied against to fight Benjamin. They asked the Lord, "Do we fight?" The Lord says, "Yes, you have to eradicate this." for three days of war, two of which Benjamin absolutely destroyed the other nations that came in. Benjamin was the most ta, now this is why I'm saying this, Benjamin was the most talented and gifted in warfare. Many of them were left and right-handed. Many of them could sling stones and spears. They were ambidextrous. The Bible records it for a reason because it meant that they were skilled warriors. and they overwhelmed all of the other tribes. And there was great mourning because many Christian or many Israeli men lost their lives to their brother trying to stamp out perversion because it had already got so strong in the midst of the nation. >> That's a message in itself. >> Yeah. How many people get slaughtered because we've allowed something evil in the midst of the camp of the house of God? >> They put their asked the Lord again after two days of great slaughter where righteousness was losing to unrighteousness and they said, "Lord, do we pursue? They're ready to stop. We're taking losses here. This you I thought you were with us." And the Lord was saying, "I am with you." Yeah, >> sometimes there are losses taken when God is with us because we haven't obeyed when the things were small. >> That's real good. >> Thank you. And in that process, in that process, God on the third day, now that's a message in itself. On the third day, >> yeah, >> come on. On the third day, We're told in a about a Bible account that on the third day, >> things were broken completely. >> And on the third day, Judah and the other tribes of Israel began to overrun Benjamin. And Benjamin was being destroyed. the whole nation of it coming under judgment except for 400 men of the tribe that escaped. Now, you got to read this whole passage because I'm not doing it fully justice. I'm just giving you the I'm going to call it the noosewander cliffnotes here, okay? And just kind of clipping on some of the tops. 400 men of the whole tribe. Remember when they came out of Egypt, there was 675,000 men. they had propagated along the way. So we're talking about 2.5 to three million people at this point. And now one of the tribes even divided by 12. I should know this. What's 3 million divided by 12? Who's my math guys? >> 3400,000 spoken like a true pastor. Loves loves people but knows tithes and offerings. Hallelujah. No, just kidding. Just kidding. All right. So out of out of three or 400,000 this tribe is getting reduced to 400. And because they now I I am going somewhere with this. I'm not just in my old age rambling here. Okay. They were reduced and now they they were under a curse because they set an oath that said anyone that gives a a daughter to the sons of Benjamin shall be obliterated and is under a curse. So the elders were in a pickle and they go, "We don't know what to do." And though so they said, "Well, there's a festival where all I know this sounds crazy even as I'm saying it. I mean, I get where our our culture is. There's a festival where all the young virgins come out to dance. Let's just tell Benjamin, go ahead and take your wife and and pick one that comes out and we'll try to settle your parents down when when that happens. Because they said, "We made an oath, but if they take the girls from the dance party and we don't stop them, at least they'll be able to propagate and Benjamin won't be destroyed among the 12 tribes." And that's that's the progenesis, if you will, in which Kish and his family is now coming from. It's not like a big massive tribe that they've got all of this thing to compare. So when Saul says, "We're of the least of the tribes in Israel." Well, that's true because God judged your tribe in in in a couple generations back, but you're now among 400 different pe 400 different heads of people. That's a pretty small number to begin to evaluate yourself with, especially when it says that your dad was rich and influential. And so, do you see the spirit of rejection working already? >> That it can take a truth. Yes, they were the smallest tribe, but that wasn't because of Saul's fault. >> Yeah. >> That was a judgment on the basis of even it was a it was just for biblical truth. Throw it out there. It was a picture of even what uh Jacob prophesied over his 12 sons. Benjamin will be like a ravenous wolf. >> And that that ravenous wolf came to pass in the generations that came devouring people through sin. You know who the you know who was also from the tribe of Benjamin? >> The Apostle Paul. >> Anyway, just something to think about. Uh I I say to my congregations, things that make you go hm. All right. So in that process, Saul is now comes from a dad that's influential and wealthy. He's handsome. He's tall. He has love in his family. His father cares for them. Fact is, if you were a son at all in those days, because of the smallalness of the tribe, not only was a son revered and honored, but if you were a son, especially of a a tribe that had been judged by God and diminished, the the uh honor and the protection of that son would have gone exponentially. And that's why I've told you that. So, there was a not just a normal family thing, but there was extra. Why? Because every male that could propagate the Benjamin line was considered rare and valuable. And yet Saul in his own eyes couldn't see it. Okay? He goes, "Why? Why are you talking to me like this? My family is the least important of all the families of that tribe." Notice what Samuel did. Prophet Samuel took a whole flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul's head. I'm doing this because the Lord has appointed you leader over his people Israel. So Samuel called the tribal leaders together before the Lord. Saul the son of Kish was chosen among them. Now you have to get the picture here. So he met Samuel. Samuel told him that he was the he was the hope of all of Israel. Saul couldn't hear that. Saul diminished everything that the prophet was saying over him. >> Now, you need to ask yourself the question, what's that like? What let's apply that to our lives, New Testament. What would that look like? That means that everything that the Holy Spirit has picked up in God's word and spoken over you that Jesus's words are for you. When you have a spirit of rejection, you don't accept them as truth. You hear them, but you push them aside. >> It's exactly what Saul did. >> It's exactly what Saul did. And then Samuel took him to meet with the tribal leaders to actually, he'd already anointed him one time with an olive oil flask. Now he's taking him in front of the leaders and they went to pronounce on him that this is the Lord's selection. And this is what rejection does. Now remember, you've heard the word of the Lord. You've had the prophet of Israel, not just any prophet. Okay, let let's just build you. Sometimes I just wish I could just kind of get it to you. So, but I know I have to explain it. So Samuel was said of the Lord that no one prophesied in Israel like Samuel. None of his words fell to the ground. >> None. Not one missing it. Not one shadow of that. every single word was ordained at in his obedience and was absolutely accurate. >> That's Samuel. And Samuel was and we can look at the history books and and understand some of the things that were written even outside the Bible. Samuel is the one who started the whole school of the prophet ministry. So anytime you see school of the prophets in the Old Testament, it started from Samuel. >> So Saul didn't just have somebody that could prophesy once in a while come up to him. It wasn't like, you know, Saul, I just see the color blue around you and the Lord wants to just bless you. He loves you. Bless you, Saul. Okay, I I I am mocking that a little bit, but I mean that's that's a very low-level prophecy. >> Fact is, you know what a lower level than that is? When a prophet chooses to call the things out that are negative. >> That's the lowest level of prophecy there is. >> Yes. Right. that it's almost to the level that you we I would say if I if I hear prophetic like that I'm going they are so close to being a false prophet. >> That's right. >> Why? Because a real prophet sees what God says and always sees the future of how God wants them to be. >> Amen. >> Good work. And so Saul, this is why it's so important and why this why you see this spirit working the way it is here in the scriptures. Saul received a word from the prophet of Israel. And in Old Testament time, in Old Testament, I don't pick that up so it doesn't fall. In Old Testament time, there were only three offices: prophet, king, and priest. It didn't come on everybody. So you either were operated in the office of a prophet, operated in the office of a king or operated in the office of priest. And why that was so important is God only allowed the spirit to come upon those three offices in Old Testament. So that what? So that every word if it was if it didn't come to pass, they would get removed and executed. Why? Because God didn't allow everybody else to come under his spirit. He only selected certain people at times to carry what was precious. So when when Samuel comes to anoint Saul to be the first king, he was receiving a prophecy that not only was directly anointed, but it was from the head prophet and it was for kingship to be of the first of Israel. >> Yeah, >> it was a powerful word. And then to have the full an olive oil flask poured over him. The moment would have been monumental. It should have it should have undone Saul on the inside. Instead, when Samuel went to gather all the tribal leaders, now they didn't have Hebrew Instagram. They didn't like have cell phones. So when they went to gather, that meant messengers had to go out. This took some time. It didn't just happen half hour later. When you read this text, you have to put yourself in that mindset of what actually happened. They had to spend some time running and go getting people. And by the time they traveled by donkey and foot to get all the leaders of of Benjamin together, they were looking, it says they were with the baggage. Meaning what? They took baggage because they were in the province of their land. They were like just like I came here. They loaded a suitcase to come. That wasn't that far, but they still in those days, you didn't you didn't just go that far on a day. So, everybody came because the prophet of Israel called a meeting that God has spoken and God is anointing and God is bringing a new position of authority into this nation. And it's starting with your tribe. And God has selected a man. So everybody in Benjamin IS GOING, "OH, WE WENT FROM, come on now, get with me. We went from decimation >> and UNDER JUDGMENT TO NOW FAVOR IS COMING ON OUR TRIBE AGAIN." >> So you have to understand the atmosphere of what the town's people were thinking and what the tribal leaders WERE THINKING. GOD IS CHOOSING US. GOD is anointing us >> when they gather there. And this is just blows my mind. I'm dropping things all over. Hallelujah. Blows my mind. Says this, when they looked for Saul, he had disappeared. Okay, just put it in a practical term. I'm your conference speaker. I show up. You have me scheduled to speak seven or eight times. Thursday night rolls around. Everybody I meet the pastors, which I did, and we talked and we had a great time of fellowship and some doctrinal stuff and my history and background. And before the meeting, they can't find me. At that point, people are scratching their head. Wait a minute. This prophet told us that this there's something and there was a guy and now they're looking for and Samuel has to say, "Where is he?" And not just to the leaders. SAMUEL NOW HAS TO GO to the Lord. I mean, do you you see I mean, this is like what? >> YEAH. YOU JUST GOT THE WORD THAT GOD WANTS TO BLESS YOU, USE YOU, and now Samuel has to get in the spirit. Lord, she where is he, Lord? Cuz in the natural they can't find him. And the Lord replied, "And the Lord replied, >> and the Lord replied." Now, here should start to dawn on you. He's hiding amongst the baggage. Now, on the outside, it's funny. On the inside, it's tragic. What do we call stuff in our life that hasn't been cleansed and clean? Where was Saul after he had a great prophetic word? >> Yeah. >> Where did he go? >> Instead of standing and responding to the Lord and allowing his destiny and his fulfillment, what did he do? The voice inside, let me say it again, the voice inside made him hide among the baggage. I got a prophetic word. I got a prophetic grace. And I'm hiding among the baggage. I don't want to be noticed because I'm head and shoulders. Well, I'm not personally, but but Saul was head and shoulders above the people. But the voice inside >> said, "You're not even you're not even worthy to be among the people. Go hide among the things that has consumed you." >> Yeah. >> Wow. >> You doing okay? Yeah, >> I know we're I know we're kind of teaching a little different this morning, but I need you to understand the scope of it. >> So, they found him. Word of the Lord was right again. They found him and brought Saul out and he stood head and shoulders above everybody else. You see the obvious dichotomy that's taking place? And Samuel said to all the people, "This is the man who the Lord has chosen as your king. No one in Israel." Now listen to the word of the Lord. No one in Israel is his equal." >> And the people shouted, "Long live the king. Long live the king." And then Saul returned home at Gibia. And King Nahash of Ammon led his army against an Israelite city at Jashgilead. And when the messengers came to Giba, Saul's hometown, Saul was plowing a field. You see, I'm going to try to string some things together and then we're going to move forward a little bit. Saul, the thing that was inside of Saul was strong enough that he resisted two prophetic words and two anointings over his life. one privately and one publicly. And what did he do now? The king of Israel went back to plowing a field on the family farm. Was there anything wrong with plowing? No. It's an honorable thing to be a farmer. But not when you've been anointed king. Yeah. >> Not when you've actually received something that God calls you up out of something to go back to how you were twice. Now, I want you to see it. Rejection works. Here we go with stubbornness. >> Wow. >> We're going to begin to just shift a little bit. turn to somebody says, "I hope he's not talking to you." I see some people say, "Nope, I'm not going to do it." Stubborn. What what what would cause a man crowned the undisputed king of Israel to return back to go plow in a field all by himself isolated. We're not talking about this is a glamorous job. You know, I could get it if he was operating one of the new $800,000 big John Deere tractors with a small refrigerator and a buddy seat and GPS and you're just pulling massive equipment and this is awesome to drive this thing. I can get that. But you are behind an ox heading northbound and you're on the southbound lane. >> Yeah. and you're getting every belch and that's coming out of that thing as you're farming and you've been anointed the king of Israel. >> What would have to be on the inside of you >> and the voice inside of you that would move you from where God saw you back to the small place where you saw yourself? >> Are you there? Amen. >> Are you reading the scripture a little different than you've read it before? >> Come on. The job that Saul was doing was a one-man job. Maybe draft horses, maybe two oxmen. Listen, Satan Saul had no negative circumstances that on the outside of his life that Satan had to work with. Yeah, >> there was nothing. Let me tell you something. You You don't have to have I know we focused last night on the abuse side of things. That's why I picked this the subject of Tamar, but now I'm picking the subject of Saul. And I want you to see how the pendulum swings on rejection. You can have rejection coming from the fact that you've been abused. You've been a victim. You've been rejected by men and women. But you understand on the outside, the way God framed Saul's life, there was nothing in the natural that qualified this. >> He was loved. >> He was accepted. >> He was gifted. He was talented. He was handsome. >> He had He had it going on. Yeah. >> But he no from no outside reason and no family reason had something on the inside of him. And so the way that the enemy way Satan could get at Saul even though Saul listen he was anointed the anointing. Listen the same oil that Jesus talked about the spirit of the Lord has anointed me. Samuel would have poured a horn of oil, a flask, something about that big volumewise over Saul. It would have been on him. He would have felt it. One of the reasons that they would pour oil and fact is I'm not so sure that we shouldn't be doing that today. We don't because we don't want to ruin anybody's clothes and we don't want to make them feel uncomfortable. But but you understand? I don't I don't think we do. I don't think we understand why the anointing is always represented in oil and what oil did in that day. The reason they poured a whole o horn of oil was so that you would never forget the feeling of what that did when it came over you >> that when the oil would come over you, it would not just I mean, how many have had some oil poured on you before? Okay. when that oil would come, a whole horn of oil or a flask of oil would have drenched him. But then, now I'm just I'm gonna be just I'm gonna be the biblical movie NC17 for a bit. It would have run down all over his clothes, down his shirt, down his back, down his butt crack, down his thighs, down every place inside and outside, anointing every part. He couldn't have moved without feeling the oil. >> Yes. >> Sometimes when we go to the altar, you can't even feel when oil has touched you. >> True. >> But when God decided to anoint, he poured out something that the physical element represented what was actually happening in the spirit. Yes. >> And so when God poured that out, every part of the oil would be felt at every level. Meaning he couldn't have moved his arms, his legs, moved anything. It would have been on him for days. Yes. >> And under the anointing, even with the anointing on him and the power of God on him as king, he went back to his own version of what the voice was on the inside. Now, Satan would eventually destroy King Saul with a voice. That voice is a demon. that spirit. And that's why I will tell people most of the time the job of the enemy is to get you to believe that your head voice is yours. >> It's only yours when it agrees with what God says about you. >> But your head voice many times can be a demonic spirit. >> Yes. because it's not your voice, it's another voice. >> I'll never forget I was I was an associate pastor before we pioneered 25 years ago. I was associate pastor. I I had just finished uh we listen, if you can pastor junior high people, you can senior pastor. I'm just telling you right now, okay? We we started off in junior high ministry and then we became evangelists for for a while and and during that process, my senior pastor had a heart attack and and so it was up to me. There was a fairly big church. It was about 7 7800 where we were at. And he I was on the preaching rotation to fill in while he recovered from open heart surgery. And uh the elders asked me, "Well, what do you want to preach on?" And for some crazy reason, I thought I had this kind of this uncction said, "I'm going to preach on hell." And they looked at me. Really? I said, 'Yeah, I I I feel like I think the church has that understanding of why Jesus talked on hell almost more than any other subject in the Bible. He talked about money first, but we talked about hell more than he talked about heaven. So, I'm going to preach on hell. Okay. Well, we it's in the Bible. Go ahead. And uh second Sunday of preaching on hell, I had an altar call and I gave an altar call and the people stream forward because I was talking about the reality of it and what Jesus was talking about and and the fact of what it means to live for him and and and and I'm talking hundreds of people in two services came forward and I was overwhelmed with the response and praying and the p power of God was there and Listen, this was late ' 90s. Dates me, bro. And uh late ' 90s. And I I end up locking the church up. I end up waiting till everybody was gone. It was my turn to lock everything up. I locked everything up. Got on my little SR5 two-w wheelel drive Toyota. And I am just coming out of the parking lot, getting onto a little road, an access road that would get me on the freeway to get to my house. And before I turned out of the parking lot, I have this what I thought was my thought. It says, "How do you know what you said was real?" And I started to think about it. And I go, "Well, I he goes, "You just deceived all these people under Pastor Gary's watch." And I hadn't even driven a half a mile yet. And I'm like, "Oh, God. Lord, if I said anything that was false, I I quoted your scripture." And I heard the Holy Spirit say to me on the other side, "Stop. That is not my voice." >> Amen. >> And I recognized he couldn't get to me while I was on the pulpit under the anointing preaching the word of God with the Bible open to look at it. But the minute I was by myself and all things had kind of lifted from that, as I'm driving home and I'm wondering within myself, remember I told you pastors sometimes want to make sure they do a good job. And I'm thinking, how did I do? Even though the evidence was there, how the Lord did. >> Yeah. Right? >> A voice came, not my voice, trying to masquerade as my voice and began to sow doubt and unbelief >> that did I really believe the scriptures and did I really have assurance that what I said was true. That's how quick it can happen. >> That's why I say it's not your voice. It's not a it's not a it's not your head voice. It's another voice. Now, in Saul's case, we're going to pray in just a bit. So, wherever Jackie and team are, piano, text 911. Okay. Um, in Saul's case, the voice inside of Saul, the primary voice was rejection. Thank you, babe. The primary voice was rejection. There were many other things that Saul let in with that voice. Stubbornness was let in with that voice. Pride was let in with that voice. And one of the things you see now then with David is that jealousy and envy >> were let in with that voice. >> Yep. We don't often consider that rejection brings in jealousy and envy. >> But the primary thing that actually removed, it wasn't the voice of rejection that removed the anointing from Saul. It was the combination that Saul led it there. And his jealousy and envy to destroy what God loved and also anointed is what removed the spirit of the Lord from him. >> So much so that he didn't know that soon as he got by himself again, and this is what happens. You begin to read the passages about Saul, rejection didn't just stay internally. Yeah. >> It eventually became a troubling spirit. >> Yes. >> And they would have to call in a musician and would have to be the one that God anointed and every time the musician would play, the troubling spirit would lift from soul. You see, rejection never just stays internal. It will always move from a place that try to get you to see you small in your own eyes to actually bringing in and inviting other things over you. >> And then you'll be jealous. And then you'll be envious. And then you'll want nothing to do with anything that's anointed other than what you're doing. Because now your desire to be somebody because of the hollowess that's inside of you is willing to strike out at others, even among the family of God, because you don't want to share. >> That's a good word, preacher. How many would say we could pray for that this morning? >> I recognize that. I'm going to try to do a little better this morning. It's 10:37 right now. We're going to pray against some of this stuff. And I'm going to do that. I I I'd like you to pray with me. We're going to get you out at a break just as close to 11 or 11ish as we can so that we can start back the next session at around 11:25 or 11:30 right in there because I know we got a full day and we got church tonight. Is that right? Church tonight and Sunday morning. So I I I first I I want you to understand something. I know I've gone right after things um in this conference, but I want to take a little time and I want you to begin to repent. I if you could be honest with the Lord, maybe with head bowed just out of respect and maybe eyes closed for a moment, I'm not going to do an altar call, but I am going to ask you to respond to the Lord. If you know that the Lord is dealing with this spirit of rejection in you, you've heard some things out of Saul. You've heard the word stubbornness. You've heard the word jealousy and envy. You've seen yourself small in your own eyes. You've compared yourself to others constantly. You look at leadership. You look at friends. and you're constantly evaluating or periodically even evaluating yourself by others, would you just be honest before the Lord and say, "Lord, that's me. You're you're speaking your word to me right now. Just lift your hand just just before the Lord." And it's not about it's not about how many are. It's just about recognizing in this room who God's dealing with right now. Yeah. Come on. Just being vulnerable. Say, "God, all right. Thank you. Thank you." all over the room. I want you to pray with me. Maybe would you just from your heart mean this prayer? Everybody together. Lord Jesus, >> Lord Jesus, >> we come to you today. >> We come to you today >> from our own free will. >> From our own free will. >> You're touching my life. >> You're touching my life. >> And your word is convicting me. >> Your word is convicting me. >> And I receive that conviction. That conviction is life to me. >> That conviction is life to me. >> You care enough about me. >> You care enough about >> to not leave me alone. >> to not leave me alone. >> Your goodness >> your goodness, >> your love >> your love >> and your grace >> your >> is chasing me down. >> is chasing me down >> in this moment. >> in this moment. And I'm asking you >> I'm asking you >> to forgive me >> to forgive me >> for staying closeknit >> for staying close >> with a spirit of rejection >> with a spirit of rejection. >> You've done everything >> you've done everything >> to show me >> show >> that you have not rejected me. >> You have not rejected me. >> You sent your spirit >> to send your spirit. >> You sent your son to die. >> You sent your son to die. The precious blood has purchased me. >> The precious blood has purchased. >> YOU'VE SENT THE PRECIOUS oil of the spirit. You >> sent the precious oil of the spirit >> to touch me. >> Touch me. >> Anoint me >> anoint me >> and fill me. >> And fill me. >> And yet I give credence >> And yet I give >> identity >> identity >> and space >> and space >> to this foul spirit >> to this foul spirit. >> And I repent today. I >> in Jesus name. >> in Jesus name. >> I see it as sin. >> I see it as sin. >> It's opened up other doors. >> Open up other doors >> to bring other sins in. >> To bring other sins in. >> To not only destroy me >> to not only destroy me, >> but to destroy my brothers and sisters. >> To destroy my brothers and sisters. >> And bring chaos and confusion. >> And bring chaos and >> rebellion. >> Rebellion >> and stubbornness into the house of God. And I ask you
To forgive me. I ask, cleanse me now. Cleanse me now. I ask it by grace and in faith. And in faith, knowing that you are just and faithful to cleanse me now, to cleanse me now. Now come wash over me, Lord. Come wash me. Let your blood come wash over me. Let the water of the scriptures and the word fall, cleansing, renewing, renewing.
Now, let a spirit of faith rise up in me today. Spirit of faith rise up with me today. I partner with your word. I partner with your word. And I renounce, I renounce every partnership with rejection. Every partnership with rejection, and I command in Jesus name. And I command in Jesus name. You come out of me now. You come out of me now. You come out of me now. You are not welcome. You are not welcome here. You are not here. Not in my house. Not in my house. And not in the house of my God. Not in the house of my God. You're leaving in Jesus name. You're leaving in Jesus name.
All right. Now, great job. I want you just to relax now and I want you to partner with the prayers of faith. Come on. You're going back to what we said last night. I don't want you speaking in tongues. Although I love you to speak in tongues. Not right now. Just breathe normally and partner with faith. Sit in a place where you're just open. Father, we thank you. Lord, you hear the prayers of your people. And even now, Lord, you're liberating people. Come on team. You're liberating people. Ramoseter. You are liberating people in Jesus holy name. In Jesus holy name. You are breaking the small little voice that has destroyed the inside. And I say you are jerking those spirits out now in the name of Jesus Christ. It's not their own own thought. It's a voice. Rejection, you're coming out. Stubbornness and rejection, you're coming out in Jesus name. Stubbornness and rejection, you're coming out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord rebuke you. You're leaving in Jesus name.
Every spirit of jealousy, envy that comes in with rejection, there it is. I feel it right now. Jealousy and envy, you're coming out in Jesus name. Every spirit of jealousy and envy, you're coming out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Every spirit of self-pity and low self-worth, you're coming out. That spirit that says, "I am nothing. I'll be nothing." Even though God has spoken every word over you, we break every curse and every alliance right now with that spirit in the name of Jesus. And we're driving you out. Come on. Go. Go. Go. You're coming out now. Go. Go. I said the Lord is breaking every curse of rejection. The Lord. That's right. Drive it out. The Lord is breaking every curse of rejection, every spirit of rejection, every spirit of rejection, low self-worth, low self-image, fear of not being accepted, fear of being small, fear of being insignificant. I break that curse right now. Every form of rejection, every form of stubbornness that works with pride to keep it hidden, that is being repented of and driven out in Jesus name. You're coming out. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You're coming out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You're coming out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You are coming out. Leaving. Leaving. Leaving. Leaving. Leaving. Leaving. I said the Lord is breaking every one of those assignments. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. You're coming out. You're coming out in Jesus name. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord rebuke you. Go, go, go. I said rejection. You're coming out. Rejection. You're coming out. Rejection. You're coming out. Rejection. You're coming out. Every voice of insignificance. Insignificance. You're leaving. You're a liar. Insignificance. You're leaving in Jesus name. I'm the least of my family. I'm the least of my tribe. I'm the least of my home group. I'm the least in this church. Oh, why would God anoint me? I break that assignment now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Go. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. I said in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Come on, keep going. Keep going. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord rebuke you. Come on. Loose and go. Loose and go. Stubbornness. You're going. I said stubbornness, which is idolatry. The Bible says it's idolatry. You're coming out. 1st Samuel 17. For rebellion is as divination and stubbornness is as idolatry, you're coming out. Every spirit that would worship that insignificance. Every assignment that would worship insignificance, that small-mindedness, every assignment that said, "I prefer to go back to who I've always been in my head versus what God says to me." I break that alliance with stubbornness now. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, you're coming out. You're coming out. You're coming out. You're coming out. You're coming out. Come on. Stay focused in what God's doing in you. Come on. Come on. All that should be to you is a noise of the Holy Spirit coming in warfare on your behalf. Come on. You stay engaged in Jesus' name. Rejection, you're coming out. You're coming out. You're coming out in Jesus name. Go, go, go, go. I said measuring myself by others. Measuring myself by others. Measuring myself by myself by others. I break that spirit. Low self-worth, low self-image. Every assignment that says I'm small in my own eyes. The blood of Jesus destroys you. The blood of Jesus destroys you. Go, go, go, go, go, go. I said every spirit of insignificance. Every spirit of insignificance. Every spirit of insignificance, you're leaving. Every spirit of insignificance, you're leaving. I said insignificance. You're no longer partnering with stubbornness in me. I repent of being stiff-necked. I repent of being stubborn and hard-hearted. In the name of Jesus, you are coming out. I choose to believe what God says about me. I choose to believe what God says about me. I choose to partner with the Holy Spirit. I choose to partner with the anointing. I choose to partner with the anointing in Jesus name.
Oh, the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus cleanses. The blood of Jesus purifies. The blood of Jesus destroys legal rights and assignments, habitual patterns in the name of Jesus. Mental patterns of insignificance are being broken now under the anointing. Mental patterns, thought patterns of insignificance are being broken now under the anointing in Jesus name. I said you're coming off of them now. You're coming off the people of God. Go, go, go. Rejection, you're coming out. Rejection, you're coming out. Rejection, you're coming out. I said rejection, you're coming out. Every spirit of low self-worth in my own eyes. In my own eyes, I said you're coming out. In Jesus name. Every partnership with jealousy, you're coming out too. Jealousy, envy, you're coming out. Jealousy, envy, you're coming out in Jesus name. The Lord rebuke you. Jealousies, envies, comparison, you're coming out. The Apostle Paul said in the New Testament, he said, "I don't allow others to judge me, and I don't even judge myself." He was not talking about dealing with sin. He was talking about bringing himself under a gauge of measurement of self-worth. I break that curse now in Jesus name. You're coming out. You're coming out. You're coming out. You're coming out. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, we're breaking those partnerships, evil comparisons, evil comparisons, you're coming out. Jealousy, envy, anger, jealousy, anger, envy. Every spirit that partners with rejection, you're coming out. You're coming out in the name of Jesus. Every spirit of compromise that because of rejection you're willing to cut corners to make yourself look better, you're coming out as well. Every spirit, come on, of compromise, you're coming out. Compromise, you're coming out in Jesus name. Compromising the word, compromising integrity, compromising because you feel justified because you're small and they're bigger. I break that curse. I break that curse in Jesus name. The Lord rebuke you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord rebuke you at tearing down that measuring spirit. Tearing down through jealousy and envy in Jesus name. You're leaving with rejection. You hear me? You're leaving with rejection. The blood of Jesus destroys you. The blood of Jesus destroys you. The blood of Jesus destroys you. The water of the word is cleansing your mind, cleansing the heart, cleansing the motives, cleansing I hear in your understandings and in your evaluations. God's dealing with scales now, internal scales of judgment. Father, I just begin to ask Lord that the scales of righteous judgment would be reset in the mind of people. That which has been weighted and tilted by the spirit of rejection, putting the finger on the scale, it reads falsely. And oh, there it is. We release that now. A resetting of the scales, a resetting of internal weights and measures. For the Bible says the Lord calls it an abomination to have two sets of scales. One for one person and another for yourself. And we break every partnership with the abomination of carrying two sets of scales. We say, Lord, reset the scales of how I understand, of how I perceive, and how I bring judgment accurately, correctly, and in integrity in Jesus name.
Lord, renouncing every partnership with rejection, every partnership with low self-worth, every partnership with self-pity. I break every form of collusion now in Jesus name. I break that collusion. Self-pity, you're coming out. Self-pity a tied to how you have judgments, how you perceive, and how you understand. I break that partnership. You're coming out now. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You're coming out with rejection. You're coming out with every partnership with rejection. The Lord rebuke you. Loose, loose, loose, loose, loose, loose, loose. You're coming out. You're coming out. Internal scales are being recalibrated. Re-calibrated. The mind, that voice, that demonic voice is being thrown out. The head voice, that demonic voice, that head voice is being thrown out. Internal head voice of rejection. You're a liar and you're coming out. That internal head voice of rejection. It's not my thought. It's a voice. I cut you loose. You're not me. You're not attached to me. The old things are gone. The new things have come. I do not receive that old voice. You are not my nature or destiny. I break ties with rejection now. I break ties with its power. I break ties with its voice. And I ask, Lord, that you would cut it. That you would sever it now from my thinking, from my understanding, from my perception, from my judgments in Jesus name. You're coming out. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Loose and go. Loose and go. You're coming out the door. You're coming out the door. You're coming out the door. You're coming out the door. You're not staying in the mind. You're not staying in the emotions. You're not staying in my understanding. You're not staying in my judgments and my perceptions. I have repented and I'm driving this partnership. I'm breaking it. I'm nullifying it. And I cut you loose from my life. Rejection. You're evil. You are not staying inside of me. You are not staying inside of me. You are not staying inside of me. Go, go, go, go, go. Breaking the mind of evil, breaking the partnership with evil, rejection, jealousies, envies, comparison and measurement, comparing myself to others, comparing myself to others. You're coming out. Comparison comparing myself to others. You're coming out. Go. Go. Go. The blood of Jesus destroys you. The blood of Jesus destroys you. Come on. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. Loose. By the blood of Jesus. The blood of Christ stands against you. The blood of Christ stands against you. The blood of Christ stands against you. The blood of Christ stands against you. Destroying destroying that constant measuring breaking that rule of measure internally. Breaking that evil rule of measure internally. The blood of Jesus destroys you. The anointing breaks the yoke. The anointing breaks the slavery to that spirit in Jesus name. The anointing breaks the slavery to that internal rule of measure. We break its curse in Jesus' name. We declare it broken and we declare that you must come out on their breath now. You must come out on their breath in Jesus name. Every one of them driving them out. Driving them out. Driving them out. Driving them out. Driving them out in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Come on. In Jesus name. That's right. You're going in Jesus' name. You're coming out. You're being destroyed. You're being removed. For the Lord is exposing you. Your wickedness, your deception, rejection, you're leaving. Wickedness through deception and rejection. You're leaving wickedness through deception and rejection. You're leaving in Jesus name. Come on. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord breaking all of the enemies that have risen up. They are being struck down even now in Jesus name. Oh, for my war my warfare is not human warfare. It's not in the flesh, but it is mighty in God for pulling down reasonings, for pulling down arguments, for pulling down mindsets that have exalted itself, lifted itself up above the established word of God. You're coming. We're pulling you down. We're pulling you down. We're pulling you down. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord rebuke you. The Lord rebuke you. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. We worship you Jesus. We honor you, Jesus, for your word is true. Let God be true and every other a lie. Let God be true and every other a lie. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, that you liberate your people. Thank you, Jesus, that you break faulty mindsets, wrong identities. You destroy the schemes, the wiles, and the roots, Lord, of evil and of rejection, of jealousy, of envy. You're breaking the patterns of stubbornness and hard-heartedness in Jesus name. The Lord sets up a desire in our heart to obey. Jesus said, "Those who love me keep my commandments." Lord, let us desire to obey your word, to hear your voice. My sheep, Jesus said, hear my voice and do not follow another. Lord, we renounce any following other than your voice, other than your counsel, other than your identity. In Jesus holy name, in Jesus holy name, in Jesus holy name. In Jesus holy name.
Can you sing something? Thank you, Lord. Open the heart to do what only. Yes. Do it. Only you can. Jesus. Yes, Lord. Thank you, God. You're cleansing. You're cleansing. You're removing. You're removing. Yes, Jesus. Yes. Come on. Come on. Come on. Spirit of God. Freedom. Liberty. Freedom. you now to only you. Yes, Lord. Yes. Jesus. Spirit of God. Spirit of God. Spirit of God. Yes Lord, only you can Jesus your Yeah. Have your way, Lord. Have your way. Have your way in me. Have your way. Jesus, have your way in me now. Jesus, have your way in me now. Jesus have your way in me now. Jesus have your way in me now. Jesus, all I want is to live within your love. Be undone by who you are. My desire is to know you deeper. And Lord, I will open up again and throw my fears into the wind. I am desperate for a touch. Cuz all I want is to live within your love and be undone by who you are. My desire is to know you deeper. Lord, I will open up again and pull my fears into the wind. I am desperate for a touch of heaven.
All right. How many sense of spirit of God is in the room? Come on now. He's staying. He's not lifting. He's going to let you get rid of some coffee. He's going to let you get a drink, use the restroom, and then we're going to come back in about 25 minutes. Right at 11:30, we'll start at 11:30 on the dot. Jackie will start we'll start with a little worship. We'll get into another session. Awesome. God bless you. Go get refreshed, get a little something, and then we'll be back here in a bit. those two rounds over there.
