Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. We have an awesome video for you today. We talked all about bright morphs, our favorite bright morphs of the collection. This week, we found our favorite dark morphs. So, if you like the dark side, stay tuned.

So, we just went through the whole collection. We found a lot of really cool dark morphs, but most of them are not all dark, right? Cuz an all black snake, that's as dark as you can get. Kind of boring. So, we found that most of our favorite ones have some really, really dark elements mixed with some bright, awesome contrast. So, tell us what you think. In no particular order, here's our favorite dark morphs.

All right, so we're going to start with this amazing Mojave Leopard Monsoon. Now, monsoons are a really nice dark recessive morph, and these two jeans add a lot to it. First of all, the leopard adds a lot more spotting, a lot more contrast and pattern, but then the Mojave adds a lot of brightness to the pattern around the darkness. So, we have just a wonderful contrast, very busy snake. Let me know what you think about it. This is one of our favorite monsoon combos.

So, our second one is this big, hefty, huge grill about 4500 g. This is the yellow belly Dark Knight. We initially called it the chocolate pompei, but technically it's not good. It does not have black pastel. It has chocolate instead of black pastel. This is the chocolate spot-nose yellow belly red stripe clown. And it is huge. If you've been watching the vlog, you probably remember when we first introduced this snake, it blew us away. It's so gorgeous. I just love how this all the darkness in there is just so great. And it basically looks so similar to it did as a hatchling. In fact, maybe has a little bit more blushing in the dorsal, but pretty much this one looks the same. It's whole lifelong. Absolutely beautiful all the way as a giant giant adult female.

So, this next one is what's known as a dark dark snake combination. However, you might think it's actually quite bright. This is the black pastel blackhead yellow belly desert ghost clown. And those are all really, really, really deep dark chocolatey deep color morphs. However, with the desert ghost, you have a lot of brightening over time. This is why I love putting the dark morphs with the bright morphs because you have this beautiful snake with gorgeous contrast. I love like the layered cake kind of look to this because you have the top layer essentially then a bright line kind of delineating and then a really gorgeous bright sides all the way going all the way down to the belly. And she is beautiful and I definitely wanted to give an update on her as part of our dark video because although she is a bunch of dark morphs, she's still a beautiful, very bright, very contrasting snake. Has aged extremely well from when she was a hatchling.

So guys, this video has been sponsored by Clutch, which is our ball python collection management software. It's fantastic, and I just want to highlight a little bit that it is actually built designed in dark mode, which I love because it makes me look at my phone, look at my collection, even late at night in bed as I'm dreaming about which combos I want to do or even talking to customers. I can send them a link and opens up in dark mode. It's so beautiful. It's so welldesigned. Be sure to see we have a 30-day free trial in the description below. I hope you love it.

All right, so this beautiful cinnamon roll is just about to lay pretty soon. So, I'm being really gentle with her. This is a mahogany blackhead pi. So, you guys are probably used to seeing a a really dark pie like this from the Suma Pi project, but this is a different way of making it actually. This is the mahogany blackhead pie. So you have two really nice dark morphs. But what I love about this is it's such a low white pi. It basically looks almost like suma, right? Or a super black pastel because it's all chocolate brown. If you look at the belly, it's pure pure white. You have that pied white all the way down. So she's really gorgeous and she is about to lay here pretty soon. Can't wait to get a clutch from her. I'm really really excited where this project's going.

So, the last snake for our dark video is the redst stripe yellow belly hurricane confusion clown. And this again, I just a mix of all different kinds of really deep dark mutations into one snake. And although the final product of it isn't like super dark like like the black one we just showed, it has great dark dark pigments all the way through and a really really contrasting pattern. To me, this reminds me of something like almost like a a very complex brooding palette, right? It's very, very dark, very complex, and I just love how this snake looks extremely great even as an adult. It has great contrast throughout, has great colors, and he is really, really, really cool. I'd love to actually add some bright contrast to this because the blacks are so good because the pattern's so strong. Be really interesting to see what we can do with this in the future with jeans like Desert Ghost and Orange Dream and Fire and some of those other brightening morphs on top of the dark palette.

So guys, that's it. That's some of our top dark morphs from across the collection of all our adults. Let me know what you think. Which was your favorite? And which project do you like in general as far as do you like to go really dark? Do you like to go all bright? Or do you like a mix kind of like us? Let us know in the comments below. Thanks for watching. Look forward to talking to you next time.
