We're going to talk about very exciting, the long-awaited swivel adapter for the Phantom pole, which goes together with the Phantom brushes. Later on in the video, I'll be showing you examples of me using this in real-life situations on real jobs. Let's just take a closer look at the swivel adapter, and I'll show you some of the other adapters and how to fit it to your pole.
So, here we have this is the Phantom carbon fiber pole that I've been using. It's the smallest one in the range, the 18. So, it's a really light, nifty little pole, and I really have been enjoying using it. It's a really fantastic little pole.
This is the Faceelift Phantom dual trim brush. It's got DuPont bristles there around the outside, and then down the middle, we have these are actually horsehair bristles on this one, and you really get a good scrub with this. So, it's a really nice brush.
Now, when you buy this brush as standard, it probably comes with this attachment here. This is the universal attachment, which just screws on there like that onto the gooseneck.
Now, this one is the facelift precision angle neck. It's slightly different. It comes with a slightly different fitting to go on the brush, and it's basically got this quick-release system like that, which is really neat. You just adjust it. You can adjust the angle really quickly and easily with this quick release. And this is all also available in a couple of other sizes to give you that bit of extra reach in certain situations.
Now, of course, the one we really wanted to know about is this precision swivel adapter. It's a really good, strong, sturdy bit of kit. Actually, I've been really impressed with it. And I'll show you all you have to do. If you have your brush here and you have your regular adapter, there will just be two screws to take out like that. The holes should line up in roughly the same place. Little bit of a fiddle. There we go. And then what you need to do is unscrew this. That will go straight on there.
Now, the nice thing about this is you can have it positioned over the top to open and close over the top, or I actually quite like it underneath, positioned underneath like that. It's up to you. What you'll actually find with the swivel adapter, it actually helps you get around the window a lot more easily. Especially if you can't approach the window maybe from straight on. Uh, you've got to approach it from the side. It helps you get around the window a lot better. Get around the corners.
And the nice thing about this swivel adapter as well is that it doesn't hang too loose. So, there's just a little bit of resistance there, which I actually quite like because when you've, once you've cleaned the window, it moves perfectly freely with your movements around the window, but then when you come to rinse and you lift the brush away from the window, it doesn't kind of move around when you're rinsing. So, it gives you, you still got control over the jets as you're spraying, which is absolutely fantastic.
So, we can just connect up the hose. Once the hoses are all connected up there, it actually gives that little bit of spring back. So the, um, the swivel actually kind of springs back a little bit. It's quite nice the way that that works. So, um, really brilliant. I absolutely love a swivel adapter, and I, I, I don't like using a water-fed pole brush without one, basically. I think it's an absolute essential that we need to have. So, I'm glad Faceelift have finally produced one for the Phantom pole, and I think it's a must-have for anyone who's got a Phantom.
