A woman saw a ring at the bottom of the pool. She immediately jumped in to grab it, but suddenly her hair got sucked into the drain and tangled in the grate. Her sister saw this and rushed to help.
Meanwhile, the pool attendant on the deck didn't notice the two underwater. He started closing the pool cover. The sister underwater saw the light fading and realized something was wrong. The cover kept closing. By the time they freed the hair and swam up, the cover was fully shut. They were trapped.
They screamed for help, but the attendant had already left. The woman banged on the cover, but it was too strong to break. They tried pushing it open together, but it couldn't be opened from inside. They searched the pool. The sister found an old swimsuit and a plastic sheet. While the woman spotted a small hole in the cover, but couldn't pry it open. The sister tried stabbing the hole with the plastic, but it didn't work. She then took off her wedding ring, using it to pull at the grate, but it was stuck.
Night came. The pool lights turned off automatically. They had been trapped for 5 hours. Suddenly, a janitor walked in. They screamed and splashed desperately. The janitor noticed them, but instead of helping, she rummaged through their bags, stealing cash and bank cards. She turned off the security cameras, turned the lights back on, and threatened them for the card passwords. The woman refused angrily, so the janitor shut off the lights and heating. With no choice, the sister gave the password.
After the janitor left, the water grew colder. They shivered violently. Later, the janitor returned, but still didn't free them. Furious, the woman sharpened the plastic sheet into a blade, lured the janitor close, and stabbed her. Enraged, the janitor poured disinfectant into the water. They tried blocking the drain but failed. The sister passed out from low blood sugar. The woman begged for mercy, offering the ring and promising not to call the police. The janitor went to the control room to open the cover, but the coat failed. Now even she couldn't free them. She left after telling them the bad news.
After 7 hours trapped, the woman tied the old swimsuit to the great and finally yanked it loose. She used the great to smash a hole in the cover. She pulled her sister out and gave her medicine. Suddenly, the janitor aimed a gun at them. Afraid they'd report her, the woman sobbed and pleaded until the janitor lowered the gun. Returning the ring, the woman called an ambulance, but kept her promise, letting the janitor go. The ambulance arrived. They were saved at last.
