[Music] So, starting when I was young, you know, I was just listening to a lot of hip-hop music while playing basketball and stuff like that. So I got really into it. Basically, hip-hop music, you know, in in China and or in Korea even, like you get the most influence, um, you know, from here, from America, basically, cuz they do it the best. They're more experienced in the sound and everything. So, so yeah, I started doing music and then, um, started coming down to LA to do, do a lot more music out here, cuz I feel like, uh, if you want to do hip-hop music, you want the sound to be more fulfilled, you want the sound to be, you know, at, at as at best quality, you'll want to do it here.
[Music] I never really set like a goal, like this is what I want exactly. I feel like, you know, things change always and and you never know what's going to happen tomorrow. So, for me, I, I just try to, you know, just keep it real and just do the music that, that, that I love to do. I always try to find something that's, that's, um, that's easy to the ear for, for the audience, but also, you know, just urban music. And I feel like Drake's really got, like, got like a good blend of that. When he does like his music nowadays, you don't really hear like pure rap. Sometimes you feel like he's singing, but you know, I feel like that's, that's, um, really catching the audience, especially like worldwide. People that wouldn't, don't really know that much about hip-hop could also, um, vibe about to that music. I met two cool cats I think that I might be, I actually bound to work with in the future, too. I met one is, um, Joey Badass and one is Designer. So, we actually vibe about and talk to each other. So hopefully, that, that, um, I can bring, bring back some, um, this good quality music back to China, too.
[Music] Being like a good actor, just, I think it just really, um, you just need, you just need to put effort and time in, and it, there's no shortcuts to it. So it's always a little hard in the beginning to, um, you know, get recognition by the, by the audience, and like I'm, I'm still on that grind myself right now even. So having the chance to work with great directors, I think is the best, is, is the greatest thing for actors. La La Land is actually really great, is a really good movie. I enjoy that movie a lot. And usually, I'm not a big fan of musical movies, you know, but this one definitely, um, was something different. I think the way that they, um, they edited, the way they, the storytelling, like everything was on point. If the chance comes and like everything's perfect and everything's right, I'll definitely do something like this. Yeah. And just the fact that being an actor, you can kind of experience different lives. I think that's like a blessing to, to all the actors, and that, that's like the best, best thing. So like you can actually live like a hundred some lifestyles in your lifetime.
