DNA. DNA. So, I'm starting with the D [laughter] because I'm just here to lay foundations, right? Good. So, this is discover. So, I'll title this discover your identity. Discover your identity. I'm just building on the foundation that we laid last year.
The first time I watched Dr. Miles Monroe teach, it was on video. It was so profound. I can't forget it. It was a deacon, one of our deacons at the church where I was pastoring in Lagos, a branch church, who said, "You need to come to my house." And this was um this was over 30 years ago, right? Was a long time ago. And we went to his house. As I listened to Dr. My Monroe share profound insights, I I was just thinking to myself, where did this man come from? Oh my god. But then I was processing. I was processing beyond just enjoying what he was saying. I wanted to become like that. I I was it was beyond just enjoying and taking notes. I was telling myself this man was not born like this. He became like this. If he became like this then I can become like this. I told myself, I will not read my Bible anyhow again. I'm going to read for insight. Read to get understanding. Right?
And then some years later, I would hear Les Brown say, "For you to do something you have never done before, you must become someone you have never been before." And say, "That is it. That is it." Sadly, most people prioritize doing and getting right. Doing and get. What should I do? What should I do? Um, and I mentioned that last year how Nicodemus asked was saying to Jesus, "Rabbi, that's in John chapter 3 verse two in the King James version. Rabbi, uh, no man can do these miracles that thou doest except God be with him." And when Christ replied him, he did not use the word do. You know, no man can do these miracles that you do. And Jesus said, "No, no, no, except a man be born again." Nicodemus was confused because Jesus went beyond doing to focus on being. And that's why he used the words born again because being speaks to your nature. Doing is activity. But then it's the being that controls the doing. In fact, the the being automatically puts a cap on the doing. So we should prioritize the becoming. So when I watch Dr. Monroe, my focus was on who I was becoming. And that was why I set my goal, not just on what to do, but what to get.
In John chapter 12 and verse 24, Christ said, [snorts] except, he said, most assuredly I say to you, except a corn of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains the way it is, but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit. And he was talking about himself. He was talking about reinvention cuz a lot of people get trapped at one level in life and they think they should do more whereas we should first of all change who we are. It's like you build a house and it's a bungalow or let me let's even say it's a story building and it's five stories and then you suddenly realize this is not going to serve my vision anymore. I'm so I should have a 30story building. What do you do? Do you add the 25 stories on the five? Oh no. Somewhere along the line it's going to crash because you're putting on it what it does not have the capacity to carry. Right? Good. So a lot of the time when we want changes in our lives, we're trying to put on our lives things we did not provide for in the foundation. And if you really want to have a massive shift, you've got to go to the foundation. And the foundation is the being, right? So let's focus on that a little bit.
Imagine a boat, a sailboat on a lake, right? It has no engine to power it. It's just driven by the wind. Wisdom tells you that the thing that will move that boat is the wind. Am I right? Sadly, you don't have control over the wind. You don't have control over the direction of the wind. You don't have control over the speed of the wind. And that's how this life works. Most of the forces that act on your life are things you don't have control over. But then gratefully on that sailboat, it's not everything that is beyond your control. Some things are within your control. The sail, right? So you hold the bow, the handle on that sail, and you can turn the angles, right? And that will decide the direction in which the wind will take you. I like that cuz that tells me that in this life there are things beyond my control. There are things within my control. And then I look at that sailboat and wisdom tells me that interestingly when I control the things that I can control, the things that I cannot control will take me where I want to go. It's amazing how life works.
I then had to go the next step. So what are those things I cannot control? So many of them. I can't control the president. I can't control the Congress. I can't control the weather. I can't control the economy. So many things I don't have control over. Say, "Okay, fine. What are the things I have control over?" Amazing discovery. There are the things inside me. I found out I can control my thoughts. I can control my emotions. And then I went into the Bible and it was just all over the place. Romans 12:2 for example, do not be conformed to this world, but be what? Transformed by what? The renewing of your mind. Change your thoughts, you change your life. And then I was discussing with someone one day and he made a statement that I cannot forget. I was describing this whole thing to him and and I said look this is my discovery that the major difference between two people who have two different levels of success is internal that's my discovery it's not even so much about the money in the account or whatever it is internal he said yeah the heart of the matter is a matter of the heart boom [laughter] Yeah, it's the heart. That's that's where the difference is. The heart. Matthew 12:35, Jesus said, "A good man from the good treasure of his heart brings out good things, and an evil man from the evil treasure of his heart brings out evil things." I read it in Matthew. I read it in the amplified version. Sorry, Matthew 12:35 amplified version. It said, "The good man from the inner good treasure flings forth good things, and the evil man out of his inner evil storehouse does what? Flings forth evil things." I said, "What? Wait, you actually fling everything from your heart. You fling success from your heart. You fling failure from the heart. You say, "What is in my heart?" Oh, check what you've been flinging out. And if you're not happy with it, what you should you do? Change what is there. Change what is in the heart. It's the heart.
So that led me to a major research that has changed my life. How do I change my heart? How do I change my heart? Proverbs 4:23, keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. The verse puzzled me. Keep your heart with all diligence. Combining diligence with heart. Diligence is hard work, isn't it? And that's where the confusion came from because when I was growing up, the definition of hard work was sweating. physical exhaustion to the point where you sweat. That's the hard work. And Solomon says, "No, no, no, no. There's another kind of hard work. It's internal work. Keep your heart with all diligence. Why out of it are the issues of life?" I read a book many years ago, as a man thinkketh by James Allen. And there's one statement I took out of it that I'll never forget. James Allen said, "You cannot travel within and stand still without." Say, "Thank you." I remembered one of Newton's laws of motion. All objects remain at a state of rest until a force is applied. I said, "That's it." So Solomon is saying if you really understand the way this world works you will go put the effort on the inside.
So I came up with this all progress remains at a state of rest until a mental force is applied. How do I change my heart? Two dimensions. The first one we discussed last year at Bezo 2023. The discussion between Jesus and Nicodemus. You need to be born the second time because you derive your nature from the person that gave birth to you. Nicodemus was confused and said, "You mean that somebody as old as myself should go back into my mother's womb?" And Jesus said that which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the spirit is spirit. So your first birth was natural. This second one needs to be spiritual. And when you are born by the spirit of God, you get the nature of God. That was the core of our discussion last year and we were exploring different dimensions to it. You get that nature. It gives you the capacity to think like God, to feel like God, to talk like God, to act like God. Good. So I won't go into that. I'll move on.
So that first part of it is nature. The one we're discussing today is nurture. Nurture. Programming. That's the other word. Programming. Man is a programmable creature. After you have gotten that nature of God, what the Bible shows us in the New Testament is that you get that nature as a baby, that nature needs to grow. That nature needs 1 Peter chapter 2:2 says you should desire the sincere milk of the word of God that you may what? Grow thereby. So, it's the growing that I want to talk about today. When the nature of God is born in you, it is born in baby state. It needs to be grown. You need to grow. Galatians chapter 4:es 1 and 2 says that the hair as long as he's a child is not different from a slave. He says you put him though he is master of all you put him under tutors and governors until the time appointed by the father it needs to be groomed he owns everything but the capacity to think to process to manage is important. So there are things that belong to you that you will not access until you grow. A lot of the things we pray for won't answer to prayer. They will answer to growth.
Your 10year-old child asks you for a car and you're a billionaire. What would your answer be? You can afford it. Cost you anything? Give me a car for my birthday gift. I know some of us will just buy a big toy car, right? I've thought deeply about that question. The answer is no and yes or yes and no. The answer is first yes because you're my child, right? You're my child. So, so you are blessed already. But the answer is also no. Because if I give you car keys at 10, I'm giving you a coffee. So I'm not going to give you because I don't want to kill you. So a lot of the time people don't realize what they asking God for. God's already answered. Ask and you shall receive. But it is provided for spiritually. The physical one we don't have the capacity to manage. It's in the parable of talents. Matthew 25 from verse 14. This master had talents called his servants, gave one five, gave another two, gave another one. And the Bible says there that he gave to each one according to his ability or should we say capacity. You see that heaven does not like to waste its resources. Nobody, what did Jesus say? Nobody pours new wine into old wine skin. He said the new wine will bust the old wine skin. The wine itself will be wasted. the wine skin will crack. So, let's talk about growth for a minute. Let's talk about capacity. Okay, good.
Remember the question, right? Our research question. How do I grow my heart? How do I change my heart? So, let me read three passages of the Bible. Three words are common to those passages. Please help me to pick out those words. Is that okay? Good. Matthew 13:15. Matthew 13:15. For the hearts of these people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts, and turn so that I should heal them. Proverbs 4 20-23. Proverbs 4:22:23, "My son, attend to my words. Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart, for they alive to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life." The third one, 1 Corinthians 2:9, but as it's written, I has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him. What are the three words? Eyes, ears, and what? Heart.
Remember our research question. How do I change my heart? So that was the question on my mind one day when I was meditating on I was reading and meditating on Matthew 13:15. Christ was explaining the parable of the swer to his disciples and it was just boom I got my answer for the hearts of these people have grown dull. I said that's it. If somebody's heart is dull their life is going to be dull. He said their ears are hard of hearing and their eyes they have closed lest they should what? See with their eyes and what ear with their ears and what? Lest they should understand with their hearts. I said yeah yeah. He said and turn. I said yeah. He said so that I should heal them. I said boom. That's it. The healing. That's the physical manifestation right? That's what we're looking for. That's the breakthrough that we want. And it just dawned on me a lot happened before that healing happened. I have to check it again. Lest they should see with their eyes. Lest they should what? Hear with their ears and do what? Understand with their hearts. That's it. So the eyes and the ears are connected to the heart. This is the principle. Whatever you see and whatever you hear consistently over time will enter your heart. Whatever enters your heart has entered your life and will put your life on autopilot. Should I repeat it? This principle that we're discussing drives the media. It drives the entertainment industry. That is the foundation for education. That is what happens in the schools.
Let me repeat it. Whatever you see and hear consistently over time will enter your heart. Some people use the word subconscious. So you have your conscious mind which is where you process whatever information comes to you and you have the subconscious mind. What? Whenever anything becomes routine, repetitive, the conscious mind automatically pushes it down into the subconscious so that the mind can be free to chew on new things to deal with new problems. When you started learning how to drive, right, it was from the conscious mind. And then by the time you had been driving for one year, 2 years, most of the driving went to the subconscious. Am I right? You actually when you get into your car, you're on autopilot. Most of us when we're coming here this morning, we were on auto. You know the way. You've come here so many times. Some of us were actually thinking so much on the way. You almost didn't know when you got here. Yes, you don't need to devote your mind to that anymore. That's the way the mind works. Now, what enters the subconscious mind is what we call habit. Second nature, we call it habit. This is important. Whatever you see and hear consistently over time will enter your heart. When it enters your heart, it's like a seed entering the soil. It takes on a life of its own. It will put your life on autopilot. This is how to shape the heart. The eyes, the ears, and the heart. Wow.
Have you have you caught yourself sometime humming the music that came with an advert? Is there any song that you did not consciously learn or memorize that you found yourself singing? If you're going to be honest, especially as a Christian that that you just you just started homing and then you caught yourself. [clears throat] I'm not supposed to be singing or something like that. Let's be honest now. I've been there. [laughter] So [snorts] the the point is you did not consciously memorize nothing. It was just the fact that you had it again and again and again. It went in. This is what drives the advertising industry. That trillion dollar industry. That's what drives it. They have it down to a science. There's what they is it there's what they call the 7114 formula or some something like that. Somebody needs to see something is it seven times and on four different platforms and something like so it's a formula. So you while you are watching an advert there is science behind that advert. There's a reason why they play the same advert three or four times or five times the same evening. If it was not working why would they spend all those millions of dollars? It works. When that product enters your heart you will buy it. Especially [laughter] when you get to the shop or the mall, you see various options. The one that you will feel, the one you will trust. Why? Because there will be a sense of recognition. Mhm. Recognition happens when you already have a picture inside you, right? That's when you recognize someone. Good.
So I was just asking Adora about something that happened when Adora was in high school. She came home with one of her friends on a short break and her friend came from Europe, maybe Croatia or Sabia or so. So my dear wife was curious. She was intrigued by the fact that this young lady spoke English fluently. She So she asked her, "Wait, do they teach in the schools in your country in English?" She said, "No." So she then asked her, "So how did you learn English?" She said, "By watching American movies." Oh, okay. And then later in the day they wanted to go shopping. So we took Adora and a friend and they said we should go by a particular address. There was another friend you know also an international student from Vietnam and they wanted to us to pick her before we would take them to the mall. When the young lady got into the car she was speaking English with American accent. So pastor asked her, "Wait, wait, wait, wait. Did you learn English in in school in your country?" She said, "No." "So how did you learn English?" She said, "By watching American movies." And watching YouTube videos. I will never forget that because I was already on this research, right? It just was boom. This is it. I said Hollywood is this powerful? Yes. That young people are learning to speak English language just by watching the movies. Yeah. That's how powerful it is from today. [laughter] From today you'll be careful about what you watch, what you see and what you hear. What I'm calling you to is to be intentional. Whoever it is that is creating what you are seeing and hearing has an agenda, has a goal. And you don't think you're in control of your life because you are not.
Wait. So that thing that goes in through your eyes and through your ears, what do we call it, knowledge, information? Let's zero in on that word because I break up English words to understand them. So when you break up information, what do you have? Yes. In and formation. In and formation. In and form. Whatever it is that is going in through your eyes and going in through your heart is forming you. There is a formation going on there. So the question I'm asking today is who is informing you? Who is the source of what you are seeing and hearing consistently over time? It's there. That's why I brought it out from the verses. It's all over the Bible. 1 Corinthians 2:9, eye has not seen, ear has not heard, neither has entered into the heart of any man the things that God has prepared for those who love him. Verse 10 says, but these things he has revealed unto us by his spirit. SO THE HOLY SPIRIT IS in the business of giving you pictures and giving you things to hear if you will listen. who is informing you. Satan is in the business of informing. I promise you that whatever it is that is going in through your eyes and through your ears will not leave you the same. That's why parents are powerful. That's why families are powerful. They say each child is born tabula rasa with a clean slate. And then the words you how did you get to know that Rachel is your name? Because they looked at you called the name again and again right again and again looked at you in a particular way and called you and smiled and called you and called. After some time you realize okay when they say Rachel that must be me. So whatever it is you were seeing as a child over and over, the home that you grew up in, the environment, right? The school that you went, everything was about formation. Your teachers in school, the movies that you've been watching, the music you've been listening to, and the power of the internet.
See, once I stumbled on this principle, I began to apply it. I began to apply it. I remember when I was to start a radio broadcast in Nigeria, the Holy Spirit gave me the instruction in July 1994. Started work on it. And then when the team that was working with mentioned how much we needed to pay for production and airtime for the first quarter, my heart skipped at the meeting. It Let me give you an idea. Okay. So at that time right at that time 1994 remember end of 1994 the bill was 120,000 naira. My salary was 8,200 naira. To give you an idea of how big that amount of money was to me. So that's why I almost screamed and then I quickly reminded myself you're the pastor. You've been teaching them about faith. You can't tell anybody here that there's no money. Just shut up. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I got home and I wrote on a small card radio broadcast 120,000 naira and I wrote a verse of the scripture or so and I used cellot tape to stick it on the wall in our bedroom and there was a particular day it was getting close to when we needed to pay. I woke up in the morning. I looked at that thing. Said, "Holy Spirit, this morning." Instantly, the Holy Spirit just said to me, "Your money is around. Your money is in town. It's the devil that is holding your money from you." I said, "What?" I just changed my prayer point. I said, "Satan, in the name of Jesus, I break your hold over my money. Whatever demon or devil is holding my money right now, I break your hold. I break it. I break it." Then I was moving around the room guestulating breaking breaking you know pastor n girl was out of the room she opened the door came into saw me and close the door because if you don't want to be broken just don't come there okay [laughter] break [snorts] then I got dressed was ready to go to the office and then I just got an inspired idea go by a so and so person's uh office and pray for her by shop actually this person was having challenges right I said fine so on the way she stopped by oh I just came to pray for you I said the prayer I was about to go and she said hold on pastor you mentioned about a radio broadcast some time ago I said yeah she said how far we did I said well we're on with the production now and um we need to pay for air time very phone. She said, "How much is it?" I said, "Well, air time is 75,000 NRA. Just the air time." She said, "Fine. I need to make my own pledge. I need to make my own pledge." She wrote something on a sheet of paper, put it in an envelope, gave me, of course, out of courtesy, I did not look at it there. So later on that I opened the envelope and I saw 75,000. Thank you. That's exactly how I felt because I went to pray for her for her business. So I was not expecting it. Even when she said she was going to pledge, there was I was not expecting anything like that. The whole 75,000. What? Some 3 days later, a lady walked into the office holding an envelope and said, "My husband and myself decided to support you with the radio broadcast, gave me an envelope that that one had a check actually, and it was 150,000. Long and short of it, I got the money from putting it on the wall and seeing it and seeing it over and obviously I already got it inside right and then I got it on the outside. I've been experimenting with this principle since then. What you see and hear. Hallelujah.
I was trusting God for a car and then this was like 4 years later, right? I was trusting God for a car. Cost or price 400,000 naira. So I just took a full scap sheet w 400,000 naira. I wrote the model Mercedes-Benz da da da da the year of make mark 1123 24 and that and I stuck it on the wall. I taped it on the in our bedroom and then pastor Nik and I met this pastor friend in Lagos. We had just met for the first time at a conference. We fixed an appointment for lunch. We met at lunch. As we were discussing, we were saying, "Oh, we pastors, we spend all our money on church. It's ministry that takes all our money." Then pastor, exactly. We sold our car and the the person didn't even pay everything. The one the person paid a man of God came was preaching teaching in church and said there is somebody here and the Holy Spirit is telling me you are to give this amount. Okay. So we sold the car for 150,000. We the person gave us a 100,000. The prophet said somebody was to give 50,000 and in that instant pastor Nick and I turned looked at each other. We just knew right right [laughter] we gave the 50,000. So pastor just said that this pastor just said, "Oh my, you gave your car money to the church. That's what we're talking about. Give me a second." Just said to his assistant, "Go to the car. Go to the car. Give me the check. Bring me the checkbook. Bring me the checkbook." They brought the checkbook. He wrote my name on the check. Thank you, Lord. He wanted to write the figure and was hesitating. Said, he said, "I'm sorry for disturbing this discussion. the Holy Spirit wants me to write you a check for your car. He said, "But he's disturbing my brain with some figures." So I thought, at first I thought maybe 10, 20,000. When he said the was disturbing his brain, I said maybe 50, maybe even a 100. He said, "I'm giving you a check for 400,000 NRA." At that point in time, I didn't know the the figure was mind-blowing, right? Yes. At that point, the figure was mind-blowing. Okay? Cuz my salary was 30,000. Okay? At that time, it was when we got home, Pastor Nik said, "Let's go into the bedroom. We need to pray. We need to thank God. We need to thank God." Oh, yeah. Let's kneel down and pray. As I knelt down, my eyes just went straight to the paper on the wall. I said, "Hold on, hold on, hold on." I went to the paper to look at it. 400,000 errors said what is this a coincidence or what? You know that's how it works with God and that's how it works with principles and principles produce the same result consistently. God produces the same result consistently right exact. When I went to get the car the first day I went I did not go with the money. When you grow up in Lagos, you have sense. Yeah. I did I did not go with the money. I went to check out to negotiate to agree to bargain. And then I told them I'll be coming tomorrow with the money because they said when the man with the experience meets the man with the money. The man with the money goes home with the experience. The one with the experience goes home with the money. Yeah. So the amazing thing is Okay. Okay, I saw one. I liked it. We agreed. And then by the time I went the next day, they said some cars arrived overnight. And that was when I when I saw this one olive green color. That was when I realized that was the exact thing I asked for. The Holy Spirit delivered it to specification. I removed it.
There was a seminar in Lagos. One of the speakers said, "You need to have a dream book. You need to write your goals that you can look at every day. You need to cut pictures from magazines and stick them on the wall in the book." So the Bible said, "Tomorrow when you're coming, bring a picture of your dream home." When we got home, we were searching for pictures. We saw a beautiful home. The only interesting thing, it was in the brochure for a Toyota Camry car. So I tore it out. [clears throat] So we took it to the seminar. When we came back, we stuck it on the wall. But pastor said, "Do it's not observed though. There's also a car. There's a cat." I said, "Yeah." So what problem do you have? The house we cannot afford. Right. We're believing God. So why don't we believe for the two of them together? No. as a she's trained as an architect. She actually took a pencil and paper and drew out a plan, you know, two floors for the home and we stuck the two of them on the wall. Long and short of it, it was the car we got first, right? Brand new Camry and then eventually and then we got the house. It works.
At some point, I said, "If this thing works for cars, then it should work for cash. I to a check from my check leaf. I wrote addressed it to myself and wrote a figure I'd never gotten before. Then when it got to the signature, I thought, "What's the point putting my signature? I can't I don't have it. I can't afford." I wrote Christ. [laughter] A year later, it was just there. A year later, I just remembered said, "Wait, wait, wait, wait." And I checked my record because I was keeping record of everything and I had gotten that amount of money. I said, "Ah, I think it was 500,000." I took it off. Then I wrote another one, 5 million. Don't blame me. Find what works, then work on it. Okay. Eventually later, it was there for some time. Eventually later I found out I had gotten the money. I took it out. I wrote another one. 50 million. It's just a matter of time. Eventually I got it. I wrote another one. I know you're enjoying my story. I won't tell you any more figures. Go write your own. Okay. [laughter]
So, let me tie it up here because my time is is done. All through the wilderness, this was what God and Moses were trying to do with Israel. Any group of people that have experienced colonization and especially slavery need to understand they need to have a shift in their identity before they can ex they can before they can fulfill their potential. It's absolutely important. So last year we discussed about how they sacrificed the lamb and put put the blood on the doorpost and that reactivated the covenant that Abraham had with God. And that night Israel and God became one. You could hold the Israelite in slavery but you could not hold God. So the chains of slavery fell down and they marched out. Right? When they went to ask for things from the Egyptians, it was not the slave that was asking. It was God and we said we need to be conscious of our oneness with God. Building on that is this one. All through the wilderness, Moses was teaching and he told them, especially in Deuteronomy 6, God told them, "Write these statutes on your doorpost, write on the window, write everywhere, put them on your forehead, write on your bracelet." Joshua 18, God told Joshua, "This book of the Lord shall not depart from your mouth. You shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous and you will have what? Good success."
When they sinned and snakes, poisonous snakes began to kill the Israelites and they cried out. What did God say? He said, "Moses, the problem is they will be looking. As long as they look at those snakes and look at their wounds, they're not going to be healed. Create a bronze snake. Put it on the pole. LIFT IT UP AND TELL them when the snake bites you." He said, "LIFT UP YOUR EYES. AS long as you look at that one on the pole, you will be healed." This principle affects your healing. This principle affects your capacity to live a holy life. You can't be watching pornography every day and expect you're going to win over sexual temptation. Right? So, I'm just asking that the steps are there. I couldn't go through all of them today because I need to pray and go. But these are all the steps. These are the basic steps. Lest they should see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts. To gain that understanding, you need to do reflection. You need to do meditation. Not just reading the Bible, meditation. Not just reading books, meditation. Because it is while you are meditating and processing that the dots are connected that you identify the cause and effect. Okay. To get this result, you do this. That's where you get understanding. He said and turn. That turning is decision making. The point at which you get the understanding. Okay. So this is how wealth is created. Okay. So this is how then you make up your mind.
I attended a seminar like that. Somebody spoke for 10 minutes on Proverbs 21:10. There is more treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise. But the foolish man spends everything. He said the reason WHY YOU ARE BROKE IS BECAUSE YOU ARE spending everything. In my mind I was thinking what what if the money is not enough. He said as if he had what I was saying. He said I know some of you are saying the reason why I spend everything is because the money is not enough. He said m here what Solomon said. He said if you spend everything you're a fool. He said the fact that you are spending everything is proof that your wisdom pipe is blocked. I said it's been a long time since somebody called me a fool and justified it with scriptures. Was as if somebody took a pipe and hit my head with it. I pastor was sitting behind me. I turned looked at her shook my head. That day it was morning session. I got back to the office and I went for uh savings account forms. I that was the day I opened a savings account and my life never changed. My life never remained the same. Sorry. From that point onwards. That's the amazing thing. So again it was when my salary was 30,000 naira a month. By the end of one month, I had a 100,000 naira saved and I had paid all my bills and it felt cool. This is nice. The second month, my income then started moving up the third month. So, as my savings moved up, my income was going up. So, I said, "Holy Spirit, what's going on?" He said, "This is it. whenever you exhausted all the money on you before you were done. He said when the feeling of being broke came to you, you had nothing to resist with with so you felt broke. You knew you were broke. He said but now when you exhaust the money on you and the feeling of being broke wants to come and you remember the 100,000 or 200,000 in the account. He said that figure IN THE ACCOUNT DRIVES THAT IDEA, that thought of lack of being broke from your mind. He said and as long as being broke doesn't stay in your mind, you're not going to be broke. Since money is in your mind, you continue to attract money. So that point at which you make decisions, he said and turn, he said so that I should heal them. Then God steps in and there's physical manifestation.
This time next year, somebody here h your testimonies will have gone up 100x. I'll say that again. This time next year, someone under the sound of my voice, whatever your testimonies have been up until this point, those testimonies will have been multiplied. For someone maybe 10 times, for someone 100 times, for someone it will be a thousand times. As I was speaking, someone here crossed into the million range. Just crossed the million range. If you if you go by my bedside in Atlanta right now, there are things beside my bed. Checks, [laughter] goals, pictures. Many years ago, Charisma magazine, I was reading Charisma magazine. I saw the picture of a motivational speaker in the US, himself and his wife standing collision and thousands of people in the background. I tore it out and stuck it on the wall my bedroom 20 something years ago. And one day when I stood like that and thousands of people were attending our seminar in Lagos, I just remember that picture. I prophesy in the name of Jesus because the Holy Spirit said that when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. I prophesy in Jesus name for you. There is enlargement of hearts. Samuel said to Saul, I've anointed you today. When you leave here, you will meet some people. The spirit of God will come upon you and you will be changed into another person. And I'm prophesying on someone here today, today is your day of transfiguration. I declare today in Jesus name that level at which someone has been trapped is over. The days of stagnation are over. The days of restoration are here. And I prophesy your restoration is coming with divine acceleration. Paul the Apostle said while we do not look at the things that are seen but at the things which are not seen the ones that are seen are temporary the ones that are not seen are eternal I prophesy in Jesus name whatever it is you've been seeing that programmed you negatively we destroy the thoughts we destroy the strongholds in the mighty name of Jesus every mindset that cannot produce your destiny we declare they are destroyed it. I prophesy in Jesus name that by inspiration now revelation will come to you with ease. Receive new visions, new dreams. You will hear God like never before. What God wants to tell you, if it's in a book, he will bring the book across your way in the mighty name of Jesus. If it's in a video, he will bring the video across your way. I prophesy a reprogramming and a shift to a new level. I declare if Satan stamp the picture of a sickness on your mind, we destroy it. I SAID WE DESTROY IT. We receive for you a new picture of healing. Christ took your pain on the cross. So now you ARE FREE. WE EXPUNGE [music] every sickness and every disease. We command them go in the name of Jesus. Receive healing in the name of Jesus. The cycle of poverty and lack broken. Debt that is overwhelming broken. I prophesy you shift into a new level of provision in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lord, I pray for the person that is a part of this service who says, "Well, I've not even gotten the first part right. I can't say that I have the nature of God. I can't say that I'm a child of God." And Lord, we thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross, to die a shameful and a painful death so our sins could be forgiven. And you are waiting right now for that honest person who would ask for forgiveness. May I ask before I conclude this prayer, if you're that person, can you please put your hand on your heart? Pastor, I can't be lying before God, my relationship with God is not okay. I cannot say that I'm a child of God. I want the nature of sin removed from me. I want God's nature put in my heart. Can you be honest enough to put your hand on your heart and let's pray together. This is the prayer I prayed many years ago. I will never regret it. Change my life. God bless you for your honesty. If your hand is on your heart, can you remain standing while I ask everybody else to sit? If you're standing, please say this prayer after me. Dear God, I believe that Jesus paid for my sins. I ask you to forgive me and to accept me as your child. Thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus name. Let me pray for you. Heavenly Father, thank you for everyone who said this prayer. And Jesus said, "You throw a party in heaven when this happens. You throw a party in heaven when this happens." Oh, thank you, Lord, that there's joy, there's celebration. So, Father, we ask, we just thank you for removing the nature of sin from them and putting your own nature there. So, we just ask, heavenly father, teach them to know you personally and teach them to love you and to love other people the rest of their lives in Jesus name. Amen. Please do have your seats.
