Let's jump into some things. Uh, what what I love, I love the rue. If you're not from around here, I love the rue of coming into a gathering like this and here and watching all the different pieces come together till we end up with this great Kingdom gumbo. But the rue of all of these ingredients are coming together tonight. So many of the things they they have uh in in these songs, so many of the lyrics, so much of the flow, so much of what Bren just shared really lines up with some of the things I'm feeling the Lord wanting to say to us tonight.
And I've I've been on the trajectory of a luminescent anthropology and teaching. And we took a break from that last week because I felt an interruption around the revelation of transgenerational consciousness, and the Lord helped us with that. I feel another such interruption, and tonight is going to be more of a uh uh a rue of some of the the multiplicities of things that make up our culture. And so it's going to be somewhat of an overview. And what I'm I'm trying to determine, because there's so much potential uh feedback of heresy in my theosis teaching, I really want to teach it bad, cuz that stuff fires me up. When the when the doctrine police come out, I just get really excited. So, but I'm I'm I'm I'm trying to contain myself because I feel like in the fall of the year, even when the Lord told us not to have our our next reunion gathering and shifted our schedule, it was to do some cultural reinforcement.
And anytime Yahweh starts to reinforce, it's an announcement that he's about to increase flow. Let me say it again: if he's reinforcing structure, it's an announcement that he's coming with a higher dimension of flow. And so what if you find yourself in a place where your structure is being reinforced? Maybe your integrity is even being tested? See, we think of integrity always in the sense of right or wrong, truth or lie. But if I go out to the tractor right now and I want to hook up a bush hog to the tractor, I'm not just going to hook a bush hog up to the tractor; I'm going to hook a hydraulic hose up that's going to determine the raising and the lowering of whatever implement we connect to that tractor. Now, what if we looked at integrity through the lens of the hose that carries the hydraulic fluid back and forth between the tractor and the implement? Integrity, if it's not present in the hose, will burst when we increase the measure of flow. And so if Yahweh begins to challenge you about character, it may not just be that he's trying to make you a better Christian; it may be that he's trying to increase your flow.
Oh, and I feel, man, I feel this, that one of the reasons why this fall we're returning to some of our real cultural pillars is because there's a measure of flow that you and I are getting prepared for. And uh, I I I was given a word, I think it was about 8 years ago—I couldn't track down the actual uh date of it—but the Lord spoke something to me in the fall, I think it was about 8 years ago, and it came to my memory when I was in here praying this morning. And I believe it's a word he's whispering to us again in the reinforcement of our cultural anthropology. And that word was this: he said to me in the fall, "If you'll make the rest of the year about Thanksgiving, I'll make all of next year like Christmas." Hallelujah! Oh, man, if you'll make the rest of this year about Thanksgiving, I'll make all of next year. And somebody's just got to decide if you want to mix faith with that or not. We're going to do the Hebrews 4 thing and make sure the word that we hear profits us because we mix faith with it. And they begin to sing about Thanksgiving. My whole teaching tonight travels around Thanksgiving, and so we're going to—tell—man, I'm I'm in that. I feel that thing in my—oh, on my compass is telling me we're in the right spot. So, so I'm going to—tonight we're going to pull from an extremely familiar story, and we're going to dive into it and glean some things that are necessary reinforcements, not just so that we can have great structure, but so that we can have great flow. Come on, come on. What's the purpose of building a good wineskin if he's not about to put something in you that needs room to stretch? I feel, I just feel this. I feel like Yahweh's always getting us ready for some stuff that eye has not seen, ear has not heard, has yet to enter into the heart of man, the things that he has prepared for them that love him.
And the problem with things that eye has not seen is you're going to have people who say, "That's not in the Bible." That's right, because it's not been seen. "I didn't read read the verse about that." That's right, cuz it's not been heard. And so we're going to begin to get into some waters for which we have no point of reference, which is the revelation that Judah shared with us a couple of weeks ago: that this thing works off a compass, not a map. A map is an indicator somebody's already been there. A compass means you're going into uncharted territory; nobody's been able to chart it yet. You and I are the charter members, the founding members of a new anthropology that is becoming a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden, that's becoming a beacon and a lighthouse for those that have been trapped in the cage of religion that are now finally receiving permission to find there is a homestead where they can come out of their wandering, and the vagabond spirit can be broken off of the heart, and the homeless orphans can begin to find their way into being planted sons and daughters, oaks of righteousness; the healing of our leaves is for the nations. Amen, man.
So I'm going to talk about the feeding of the 5000 tonight, and it's found—it's the only miracle recorded in all four gospels. There are several stories that are recorded in all four; the only miracle recorded in all four gospels is the feeding of the 5000. And so uh, it's found in Matthew uh 14:13-21, Mark 6:31-44, Luke 9:10-17, John 6:1-14. Again, Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:31-44, Luke 9:10-17, John 6:1-14. Anybody got a vote which one I'm going to use? John. You're welcome. That's right. Be here all week. All right, all right. So there's a second feeding of the multitudes where there's 4,000 that are fed; that's found in Matthew 15 and in Mark 8. And to set the tone for where we're going to go over in John 6, I want to say to you that when 4,000 people were fed, how many baskets were left over? Seven. When 5,000 people were fed, how many baskets were left over? Twelve. So you would think if you had less people to feed you would have more left over, but that's not at all how Abba's economy works. Abundance is an announcement that you were designed for more, and lack is an invitation for you to believe in a measure of abundance that announces you were born for more. Whatever you don't have right now is trying to prophesy to you that you are intended to do more than you are currently believing for. So if you don't have what you need, stop believing for what you need, because what you need has already been promised. Take no thought for tomorrow, for tomorrow will take thought for itself. Consider the lilies of the field, how they neither toil nor spin, yet Solomon in all of his glory was not arrayed as one of these. Which of you by working can add one cubit to his own stature? Are not five sparrows sold for two copper coins, and yet it does not go unnoticed by your Father in Heaven? Are you not more valuable than the sparrows who fill the air? Come on. So what's the the point? The point is, quit thinking in terms of need and start thinking in terms of Yahweh's dream. What is he dreaming to do in the earth, and what is he trying to position you to inherit so that you can think more—more than in terms of what I personally need, but we can begin to dream in terms of what are we becoming that the earth has been crying out for? Hello, right? Not like you—I'm not going to change the world with people who are believing for their rent. If that's where you are, bless you; most of us have been there. But I don't need you to stay there. Yes, I need you to become the head and not the tail, the first and not the last, above and not beneath, a lender and not a borrower. I need you to get to the revelation that everywhere the sole of my foot will tread, that ground Yahweh will give to me. I need you to get to the revelation that if two of you can agree as touching anything on Earth, it'll be done for them. That's where we got to get to, right? I got some land right over here I need, and I I'll be honest with you, I need it now because the dream is expanding in my heart to the point that I realize what we currently have won't get it done. Yeah, yeah. And I was fine with what we had, and I if you if you'll look around, we're honoring what we have, we're sowing into what we have, we're beautifying what we have, we are regenerating what we have. And in light of that, now I'm beginning to feel the Father's release to say, "I'm going to have the resources laid at your feet." About $6 million is what we need, which is actually the exact amount that was prophesied by two different people who did not know that that land was for sale for $6 million. I don't even know if they knew the land was for sale at all. And here we are now. I'm not going to give them $6 million for the land; I'm going to give them five and spend a million making it look exactly the way it's supposed to look, and we're going to begin to disciple nations out of a campus that the Lord is going to give us. This time next year we'll have a Bible school going on. I got to get a better name for it than that, but you know what I mean. We'll have Union University. We're coming together, and we're teaching people how to glow the way that they were designed to glow for the sake of the Kingdom. So much of what we're moving into now is expanding rapidly; therefore, the Father's saying, "Hey, hey, hey, do this for the fall: reinforce your structure." Yes, sir. So recapitulation: it's just some some awesome things happening. So let's look at John 6. Thank you, Papa. John, chapter number 6, and I'm going to start in verse 1—good starting place.
After this, Jesus went to the other side of the lake of Tiberias, which is also known as Lake Galilee, and a massive, growing crowd of people followed him everywhere. They were attracted by his miracles and the healings they watched him perform. Jesus went up the slope of a hill and sat down. Want you to pay attention to this: Jesus went up the slope of a hill and sat down with his disciples. Now it was approaching the time of the Jewish celebration of Passover, and there were many pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem in the crowd. As Jesus sat down—say, sat down—he looked up and saw a massive crowd of people scrambling up the hill, for they wanted to be near him. So he turned to Philip and said, "Where—say, where—where will we buy food enough to feed all these people?" Now Jesus already knew what he was about to do, but he said this to stretch Philip's faith. Philip answered, "Well, I suppose if we were to give everyone only a snack, it would cost thousands of dollars to buy enough food." But just then Andrew, Peter's brother, spoke up and said, "Look, here's a young person with five barley loaves and two small fish. But how far would that go with this huge crowd?" "Have everyone sit down," Jesus said to his disciples—say, Jesus said to his disciples. So on the vast grassy slope, more than 5,000 hungry people sat down. This would have been men, not counting women and children. Jesus then took the barley loaves and the fish and gave thanks to God—say, thanks, thanks. He then gave it to the disciples to distribute to the people. Miraculously, the food multiplied, with everyone eating as much as they wanted. When everyone was satisfied, Jesus told his disciples, "Now go back and gather up the pieces left over so that nothing will be wasted." The disciples filled up 12—12—baskets of fragments, a basket of leftovers for each disciple. Now that's in parentheses; that's an addition by Dr. Simmons. It's fine, but I don't really think that was the point. Verse 14: "All the people were astounded as they saw with their own eyes the incredible miracle Jesus had performed. They begin to say among themselves, 'He really is the one, the true Prophet we've been waiting for.'" Woo! This is the one we've been waiting for; it's the Ray Hughes dream. So Jesus, knowing that they were about to take him and make him their King by force, quickly left and went up the mountainside alone.
All right, so we're going to we're going to glean several things, but I want you to look—verse 3: "Jesus went up the slope of a hill and sat down." Ain't that good? Verse 5: "Jesus sat down." And verse 10: "Jesus told the disciples to have all of them sit down." So we're going to talk tonight about what it means to be seated. We're going to talk tonight about part of our cultural anthropology. Anthropology is simply the study of culture. So part of the study of our culture would lead you to the understanding that we believe that we were designed to be seated. And seated is the antithesis of striving, sir. Being seated is the antithesis of striving. Being seated means you don't—does not mean you don't accomplish things; it means you do more with yourself than you used to do in your boots. And some of us have only learned by way of the religious system how to be good foot soldiers, and you were not designed to stop at foot soldier; you were designed to become kings, and you were designed to become a king like he is a king without ever having him cease to be the King of all Kings. Yes, sir. Now this is important; that's going that's going to really dovetail into the theosis teaching we're going to—later on. We're not saying you become God in the place of God, for God is God in that place alone; he is uncreated God. You are created, but in the image and likeness, designed to function in royalty and authority as something other than a good Western American Christian. All right, we got to move beyond that. And part of the way we're making that leap is to really begin to move more deeply by way of the heart into the understanding of what it is he's actually designed us for, and what he's designed us for is to take us off of the treadmill that religion invites us onto and seat us in the throne that we have no access to until we discover what I've come to term as the in him dimension. Apostle Aaron calls it the "up here." Some would call it beyond the veil. There are different names for it, all indicating that we're talking about the same realm. For me, that realm has come to be defined as the in him dimension: I in him and he in me. John 14: "For in that day you will know that I am in the Father, you are in me, and I am in you." In that day you will come to know I am in the Father, you are in me, or I am you. "If in him we live and move and have our being," in Jesus' name is not a magical prepositional phrase when added to the end of a prayer that brings breakthrough. How do I know that? Because most prayers being prayed in Jesus' name are not being answered, because "in Jesus' name" is not like Abracadabra, that if you add it to the end of a prayer it magically makes it come to pass. He's saying, "Anything you ask in my name"—you got to get out of your identity into my identity, and you've got to start asking not just by being somebody with me, but by being somebody in me. Christ in you, the hope of glory. So there's this transition and transformation that takes place when you and I begin to understand that we are not asking things okay that we are hoping get answered; we're asking the things that we have discovered by way of proximity to his heart that cannot be attained outside of our understanding that we are in him and he is in us; he is in the Father, we are in him, the Father is in us. Where this is John 7 all over the place, where we're trying to figure out who's in who. It's perichoresis. You're not supposed to know who's in who; just supposed to know everybody's and everybody. It's the Father, Son, and the Spirit; it's the picture of agape pouring agape into agape, receiving back agape. It's perfect love loving perfect love loving perfect love. And you and I don't get saved from hell; we get carried into that circle. Jesus did not come to keep you from dying and going to hell; Jesus came to show you the hell of living outside of the circle of perfect, dancing fellowship that you were designed for. And don't let other people make this about a judicial system when it's actually about a forfeited relationship. Amen. So he carries us back into perichoresis. Peri—where we get the word perimeter or periscope—it's circle. Choris is where we get the word choreography; it's a dance. So when the early church patristic fathers looked for language to describe what they saw when they looked into the trinitarian fellowship, they actually began to describe undiluted union—undiluted union—as perichoresis: the mutual indwelling of one another without the loss of individual personhood. Mutual indwelling of one another without the loss of individual personhood. And so what you've been invited into is far more than someone who's repeated a prayer whose name's now written in a book. Not—not fine; I'm okay with the name written in the book. I'm actually not good with the repeating of the prayer thing. You show me where Jesus had somebody sit down and say, "Repeat this after me." We'll start doing it right. He said things like, "You must be born again." And the great teacher of Israel, Nicodemus, looks back and says to him, "How will I enter again into my mother's womb a second time?" And he says, "You're a great teacher in Israel, and you don't understand this." And he didn't explain it; he didn't say, "Well, what the way you do it is say this after me: 'In the name of Jesus, I'm a sinner, I've repented.'" No, no, no, no, no. This is what we've done; we've made everything a formula, and relationships are organic, not formulaic. So we have to begin to understand he's bringing us back into the organic, foundational exchange of intimacy that we were designed for. And that cost you way more than attending church on Sunday morning and paying your tithe if you have the money to do so, and then maybe serving somewhere in the local fellowship of the church and making sure you bring a covered dish dinner once a year when we're celebrating homecoming. All right, we got to go somewhere beyond all of this. And one of the ways that we're going to get there is beginning to understand that, according to Ephesians 2, we were designed not just to be saved from sin and hell; we were designed to be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Seated. Yes. "You hath he quickened who were dead in trespasses and sin, wherein in times past we walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of the flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; but God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ (by grace ye are saved); and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." So what does love do? Raises and seats. What does Jesus do in this story? Climbs a hill and sits down. What does love do? It raises and it seats; it draws you higher so that you can find a seat you can never legally have until you've come into a proximal ascension. Just read the book of Revelation and find how many times when John gets in the spirit on the Lord's day that he looks and finds people sitting down, right? And I heard a voice saying to me, "Come up here, and I'll show you what must take place after this."
I looked in there before; was a door. I looked through the door, and there was one seated upon the throne that had the appearance of Jasper and Carnelian and a sardus stone. And seated around that Throne were 24 other Thrones; seated there 24 Elders who never stopped casting down their crowns, crying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.”
And so we begin to understand this; we begin to understand the ultimate position for you and I is not the front lines. The ultimate position for you and I is the Royal courts. And when we think in terms of Courts, we need to think in terms of royalty, not forensically. Right, right, okay. Don’t think of court and think courtroom; think of court and think royalty. Yeah, right; think in terms of royalty. So we find Yeshua doing this in the story; he’s ascending and he’s being seated. He’s ascending and he’s being seated. If you find, if you try to sit down without first ascending, you’ll just be lazy. Wow. If you try to ascend and don’t learn how to be seated once you ascend, you’ll actually turn your Ascension into a work of Pride, and you’ll show people how much higher you are than the rest of everybody else. Come on.
So this is big; this is really, really big. Verse one again: After this, Jesus went to the other side of the lake of Tiberius, which is also known as Lake Galilee. A massive crowd of people followed him everywhere; they were attracted by his miracles and the healings they watched him perform. Jesus went up the slope of a hill and sat down with his disciples; sat down with his disciples. So they’re seated too. Okay. Now it was approaching the time of the Jewish celebration of Passover; there were many pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem in the crowd. Jesus sat down; he looked out and saw the massive crowd of people scrambling up the hill, for they wanted to be near him. So he turned to Philip and said, “Where will we buy enough food to feed all these people?”
Now Jesus—I know I’m reading this again, but I want us to get it—Jesus already knew what he was about to do, but he said this to stretch Philip’s Faith. Yeah, yeah, yeah; he said this to stretch Philip’s Faith. What is it? He knew what he was about to do, but he wanted to include Philip. Yes, he did; he wasn’t just trying to feed people; he was trying to teach Philip—Philip to think right—which, in essence, is what repentance is all about. Repentance is a graduation of thought process. The word repent is from the Greek word metanoia, and I was taught by religion that repent means to turn and go in the other direction. It does not; metanoia does not mean to turn in the other direction. Metanoia is to change the way you think. To repent is to change the way you think.
Now the secondary consequence of an—right, follow this—the secondary consequence of an elevation of thought process is it changes your direction, because all the direction you will ever take in life is dictated by the way that you think. If you move toward panic and anxiety, it was a thought first. If you move toward sin, it was a thought first. If you move toward peace, it was a thought first. If you move toward Joy, it was a thought first. If you move toward benevolence, it was a thought first. Whatever you’re doing, right or wrong, is a secondary consequence of a thought pattern. Yes, and Jesus doesn’t just want to do a miracle so Philip can see a miracle; he wants to invite him into a new way of dealing with lack. So good. See, you’re going to have to do this after I’m Gone, Philip, and I need to not just let you see me do it, but I need you to know the works that I do, and greater works you shall do, because I’m going to the Father, and anything you ask in my name shall be given to you. On. So he says, “I need you to think with me, Philip; I need you to think with me.” And, and, and I love the question because he doesn’t ask him—he doesn’t at all talk to him about how much it’s going to cost. The question is, “Where?” And Philip immediately goes, “We ain’t got enough money.” And Jesus said, “I wasn’t asking you that; I just wanted to know where. I didn’t want you to focus on what you had; I wanted you to focus on where the key was.” And Andrew got it and saw a little boy with Five Loaves and two fish, and he said, “Woohoo! I found the key!” And Philip goes, “I don’t have anything to do with how much this is going to cost.” Cost. And Yeshua said, “I never was concerned about how much it was going to cost; I just need somebody who knows how to find keys in moments of lack, cuz keys can get you into something that is absolutely impossible for you to get into from where you are currently.”
I’m telling you, I feel this in my bones tonight. I’m a hair’s breath away from a handheld mic and get Huffy in here, huh? Bri B will get happy if nobody else does. So this—so this is what I hear the Father saying to us. I hear the Father saying, part of the anthropology here is for you not to figure out how to pay for it, but for you to figure out where to start. Show me DOT number one. Yes. And if you can show me DOT number one, the dots will start to connect. But I’m going to say to you, come on, for some of you it might be a blessing and an offering to Apostle Aaron and Robbie. For some of you it might be giving something away. Yes, sir. Tammy and I are living in that truth. I don’t even know if I’m supposed to tell this story yet, but we’re living in the truth right now. The Lord had us give a vehicle away on Friday night, and a dream home on a big piece of acreage right through the woods from this church that was not for sale is under contract; we’re buying it right now. But I’m—I’m going to tell you, listen, listen. And the key wasn’t figure out how to get that house; the key was give somebody the key to a vehicle. And when you gave somebody the key to the vehicle, all of a sudden that starts to unlock. That’s the little boy’s Loaves and fish. That’s what we do have. That’s right; that’s right. And Philip was focused on what they didn’t have; Andrew was focused on what they did have. All right. And Thanksgiving will never be at graduate level until it’s focused on what you do have. And some people are waiting to get thankful until they have something to be thankful for. And everybody’s got something to be thankful for. And the key to getting what you don’t have yet to be thankful for is to be thankful for what you do have right now, because most of us in this room are living a life that is exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think, and everything else is bonus.
I told you the NT Wright story; NT Wright, Tom Wright, who a former uh Bishop of Durham—pretty, pretty significant thing; it means he’s a part of British Parliament. Part of preachers are still a part of British Parliament, cuz they didn’t buy into this division of church and state stuff. So he got into a taxi cab; he got into a taxi cabin; he had his clerical Garb on; he was wearing his purple shirt with his white collar, and then he wears his big cross. And the cab driver tells him, he says, “Well, I see that you’re a bishop.” And he says, “Yes, I’m a bishop.” And he says, “I hear y’all are having some problems with that women Bishop stuff.” And he said, “Oh, yes, you’re right; we’re having some problems with that women Bishop stuff.” And this is what the cab driver told him: He said, “Far as I’m concerned, if God raised Jesus from the dead, everything else is rock and roll.” And Tom Wright said the title of my Easter message at Westminster Chapel was, “If God raised Jesus from the dead, everything else is rock and roll.” And so you and I have got to get back to a basic Thanksgiving for the Revelation that we are in him and he is in us; that his blood has washed away every trace of sin and every stain of Shame, and now we stand before him with hands lifted in Thanksgiving, saying, “I am a new creature; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” Oh, and by the way, I have an amazing marriage, and my children are healthy, and I’m not going to let anything that is of lesser value keep me from the necessary Thanksgiving concerning what I’m currently in possession of. And when you learn the art of gratitude, you will throw the lever on this emotional roller coaster ride you’ve been on.
I have too many people in my life like this, and I’m looking for the RB Smiths; it’s the way Apostle has always described her: Steady As She Goes. So when I got ready to marry me one, I married one Steady As She Goes, because I’m not always as steady as I ought to be. I know it’s—I know it’s a news flash. So you got to have steady, because steady steadies. Come on. But steady is not a personality trait; it’s a witness of an individual who’s come into a measure of trust to be able to say, “I know that he cares for us; I know that he’s already taken care of tomorrow; I know that everything is going to be fine.” So why don’t the rest of you get over here in my vibrational frequency and become a vibrational match for the joy of the individual convinced of the care of the Lord? If you’re stressed about something now, you have care questions; you have to be, because if not, you’d take no thought for tomorrow. And you cannot listen to me; you cannot get in anxiety without an illegal trip into the future, cuz what you’re anxious for is not in this room right now. So you got to get up and leave this room; you got to get up and leave this time; you got to get up and leave this day, and you got to go over into an event where there is not yet Grace for it, and you’ll start to freak out over something that hasn’t happened, because grace is sufficient for today. Today! Oh, come on, right? Grace—that’s a better translation than sufficient—is the day of trouble filled with trouble; the grace to meet the trouble of today is here for today. But if you decide to leave today and go into tomorrow and start future tripping, you lose the ability to be present. And not only do you lose the ability to be present, you lose the grace that is inaccessible if you are other than present, because he’s present; he’s a LIF and T, but he’s present. All right; all right; let’s go. Watch; this is going to be a fun trip. Are you ready? Woo! Thank you, Lord; thank you, Lord; thank you, Lord; thank you, Lord; thank you; thank you, Lord.
He goes up the slope of a hill and sits down; this is a prophetic picture of what I’m calling tonight proximal Ascension. And proximal Ascension is the only—listen to me—gate of authentic rest. Proximal Ascension is the only gate to authentic rest. The uh—the—the—the opposite of the word—let me—let me see if this is necessary, Lord. Is this necessary? Yes. The opposite of the word proximal is the word distal, and it literally means to be separated from the core of things. Proximal is actually a lot of times a biological word, and it has to do with anatomy, and it can begin to talk about your position to the heart; it can begin to talk about your position to the belly; your position to the lung; whatever in your inward world you need to be close to. You’ll hear the word used pro-proximal; if it’s not proximal, it’ll be distal. And so what we’re talking about when we talk about proximal Ascension is we’re talking about the move toward the circle of paricus; we are talking about you understanding that Yeshua doesn’t just Ascend to the right hand of the Father, but Yeshua takes humankind with him and seats us at the right hand of the Father. So we are not trying to get to a high place that’s not rightfully ours; we are trying to get to a high place. Religion failed to tell us about; religion wanted us to believe the high places were for later. I—and—and—and here’s the problem with the Revelation that the good stuff is for heaven: It makes irresponsibility seem virtuous. It’s all the people who are secretly loving that brains are being blown out in Israel right now, cuz this means all the stuff they believed about the end times was right. And when this one’s over, we’ll all still be here, right? And a 100 years after this one’s over, we’ll all still be here. I—let you can have an ear to hear if you want to; I ain’t going to be alive in 100 years. You don’t have to be, but I’m going to be. I’m scking around. I—I—I—I have some promises that I’d like to tap into. Come on. And the Father is going to begin to teach a group of people what it actually means to be seated with him in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus; that Yeshua did not just in his righteousness share his right standing with the Father; he shared his right relationship with the Father. One of the great missing attributes in the Declaration of the Gospel is Jesus as sharer, not just Jesus as Savior. Wow. He saves us from having forfeited our share, and he—he shares with us the shared Fellowship he has with the Father and the Son, and he immediately takes us in. I’ll—I’ll give you a quick analogy of this. So last night we were at a football game. After the football game, we were down on the field, and—and Elijah and Judah are getting to interact with all these NFL football players on the field, and it’s just so cool; you’re just standing back in that watching that, and there’s like Hall of Fame football players and stars that were just in the game. Elijah, of course, goes around behind the screen where they’re having Thursday night football, and then, you know, he’s that guy. And so we’re—we’re down on the field; we’re enjoying this, but what the reason why we’re there is because we have a relationship with somebody that has an access that we don’t have. And I’m sitting here watching this whole thing unfold and realizing that relationship with that one man has given us access to a world we could not have access to without him, and he had the decision as to whether he would share that access with us. And because he made the decision to share that access, nobody questioned whether we had a right to be on that field, because we got on that field by way of our relationship with him. This is—come—I saw the gospel last night.
So this is what Yeshua says: “I welcomed you into my whole world; I didn’t put you in a little Corner Room in a little side room where you could be able to say, ‘I—I have my paperwork in order, and I repeated the prayer when I was 12 years old; therefore, I don’t have to die and go to hell.’ He said, ‘You’re missing the whole thing; I want you to get in here with these six-winged creatures that are covered with eyes and realize you outrank them.’ What? And realize you’re the righteousness of God in Christ. The Bible never teaches us those six-winged creatures are the righteousness of God in Christ; maybe they are, but we’re not; they are. We know that the angels in heaven are not the righteousness of God in Christ; we are the righteousness of God in Christ. We are as righteous as is God, or we are completely unrighteous; there is no middle ground, because you cannot grow in righteousness; you’re either perfectly Godly righteous or absolutely unrighteous. How do you become perfectly Godly righteous? Simple: You believe in his Son. Yeah; ain’t that difficult. You believe in his Son. And when you believe in his Son, let me tell you what he does: He puts you on his back, carries you up the hill and says, ‘Now that you’re here, you can stay frantic if you want to, but you ought to learn to sit down, sir.’ And you know what I’m here to say to you tonight? You made it, and you can stay frantic if you want to, but you ought to learn to sit down. I feel the Holy Ghost helping me tonight. You’re here, friend, and now that you’re here, you didn’t get here by your own effort; you didn’t get here by your own Merit, and you’re not going to stay here by way of self-effort, and you’ll end up losing the grace for this if you get into self-righteousness. So what you need to do is be thankful for your piggyback ride up this mountain on King Yeshua, and you need to sit down and say, ‘Now that I’m here, let me dream like nothing is impossible; let me Feast like he has prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies; let me start to declare some things and decree some things and dream some things and believe some things and manifest some things.’ Now that you’re here, sit down. It’s amazing how people get here and they think getting here is the key; it’s not; it’s sitting down that’s the key. The key is not getting here, because if you get here and you still got this move happening: Oh, God; oh, God; oh, God; oh, God; oh, God; oh, God; oh, God; oh, God; God! Y’all think I’m exaggerating, but this is what y’all do: Oh, my God; oh, my—my God; oh, my God; oh, my God; oh, my God; my God; my God! I thought Damon and Tammy would have had me over to dinner by now. We don’t have people over for at dinner; it’s not you. Oh, my God; oh, my God! I said we don’t have people over for dinner; we’ll have people over for dinner over the age of 18; the rest of the church is eating us out of house and home. Thank you, Braden. My God; thank you, McKenna. Where’s McKenna? Is McKenna? Thank you, McKenna. Between McKenna and Braden, I’m telling you, McKenna is amazing; she can eat a meal at her house and come have another one at mine and walk out that big round—it’s a fascinating thing. Genetics are real, friends; genetics are real. When Dustin Deo is your dad, you can eat whatever you want to. This is the problem: The problem is not that you’re not in the right place; the problem is now that you’ve come into this proximal mountain of metamorphosis, the change is not going to take place until you quit trying to earn contentment through striving. Contentment is an inheritance, not a Pursuit. Sit down; stay a while; trust a little bit more; trust in the care of the—the Lord. I came here and I haven’t found the right house yet; you’ll be okay. I came here; I haven’t found the right job yet; you’ll be okay. Why take no thought for [Music] tomorrow? And he takes them up the slope of a hill, and he—this is what the Bible says—he sees there’s a multitude of people all scrambling to get up the hill to be with him, and you know what he does? He does get off the mountain one time and go help one of them up; same thing the prodigal son’s father, who is the Father, does when he knows the son’s in the far country, but he doesn’t go look for him right now. Revelation lives in the tension that exists between two seemingly contradictory ideas. Let me say that again: Revelation lives in the tension that exists between two seemingly contradictory ideas. Does he leave the 99 and go after the one, or stay on the porch? Huh; depends on whether you’re lost or running. Revelation lives in the tension that exists between two seemingly contradictory ideas. This is what the Bible said: The Bible said, “The kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” I have that engraved on a seven mag; that verse is engrave down there: “The kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” You know there’s another verse that says, “Unless you become like a little child, you cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Which one’s true? Both. So maybe what you have to become violent about is being childlike, and maybe we want to be violent toward things that deserve violence, but we’re unwilling to be violent toward the posturing adult in us that wants to pretend we know what’s going on. Let’s turn that violence toward that posturing adult and say, “You’re stressed, and you’re not having enough fun, and you need to come back into a childlikeness where you can dance around this room, wave your hands, have the best time you’ve ever had; leave here; go eat a cheeseburger.” Quote: “It’s not what goes into a man’s mouth that defiles him, but what comes out of his mouth.” And you…
Can actually go forth from this place filled with joy, and you can become the light of the world. Not because you felt guilty that you hadn't handed out any tracks and tried to get anybody to repeat the prayer, just cuz you're having the time of your life. Because you didn't just move here, you move here and found your seat.
And I know I'm talking to the world, and I have to be careful about this at times. I know people are listening from all over the place, and some of you are exactly where you're supposed to be. Once you know that, sit down. If you're not, find the hill you belong on, and there'll be an Apostolic anointing there to help you find the seat of rest. And rest—listen—is not so you can be lazy; it's the only place you're allowed to rule from. So good, you may kill a few enemies with a sword in your hand, but you'll make decrees when you're seated on a throne. Hallelujah! And we are raising Kings here, not soldiers. Good sir, what up? Well, the Bible says we're a soldier. It also says you're a lamb. You want to dress up like one of us? Every youth pastor in America dressed up like Mel Gibson in Braveheart and want to get out and shout freedom. I hadn't seen one youth pastor come out in a sheep costume yet, but the same Bible that calls you a soldier also calls you a sheep. It's called anthropomorphism; it's not literally that you're becoming a soldier. We don't even understand this about the armor of the Lord. We turn the armor of the Lord into the armor of a Roman soldier: the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, gird your loins about the truth, feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, above all taking up the shield of faith, and using the sword of the spirit, that is the word of the Lord. And we took a Roman soldier's outfit and we put it up here and we said, "Here's the analogy." It says the—the armor of the Lord, right? Do you think the Lord has a helmet? It says, "Put on the whole armor of God." What kind of armor does God have on? Light. He's got on a light suit, and from his light suit he's protected here, and he's protected here, and he's protected here, and he's got a word that goes forth from here. Come on, we need to get to the place we understand we are armored like God. We are the light of the world, a city set on a hill that cannot be [Applause] hidden.
So the mountain is a proximal Ascension, and proximal Ascension is permission to enter into the kingdom realm of rest. A very natural secondary consequence of answering the call to a proximal Ascension is permission to enter into a king—Kingdom realm, simply defined as rest. Come up here, and then I'll show you what must take place after this, but first you come up here. So let me tell you, let me say it like this: find where you're supposed to be, get there, and once you're there, find your seat. I heard this in a dream the other night. I heard the Lord say, "Tell the people they may all be seated." Wow. And in the dream—you know how dreams are weird—I'm thinking of it in the context of people standing and being seated. He's—and—and when I woke up, I begin to think about this. He said, "I'm not talking about just people who are standing that need to be seated; talk to the pacing ones." Come on, God, not—it hasn't happened yet, not by now. And He's said, "Listen, it's—I love you too much. See, I have this word. I've been trying to point at this group of people for about the last 72 hours, and it is jealous, and I'm jealous for you to enter into rest, not just get stuff. And if I give you the stuff while you're in restlessness, you'll think restlessness is the key." That's right. Can I—can I—can I get—help you, right? If I give it to you while you're pacing, you'll think what you got to do to get breakthrough is pace, and you'll think if you're not getting breakthrough you're not pacing hard enough, you're not pacing fast enough, and you hadn't paced long enough, and you just keep on pacing. He said, "So I'll step back and wait until you exhaust yourself with your own effort, and then you find your seat, and then I hand it to you, because it's not by might nor by power but by my spirit," says the Lord. It's not pacing that brings breakthrough; it's rest. And Israel could pace with the best of them, but Hebrews 4 said they never did find their rest. Now listen, you don't get mad at me cuz I'm—I'm identifying your pacing; that's on you. I don't pace anymore. I used to—I used to sweat on a phone call. Boom, boom. Tammy will be like, "What is wrong? My God, something terrible must be going on. Get off the phone." So everything's fine. Us talking to my dad. Well, why in the world were you? Cuz I didn't know how to be still. There was too much restlessness in here for there to be rest anywhere else. But once this starts to settle down, see you're—you're the first Isaiah 35 desert that begins to bloom. It doesn't first happen to Mobile, Alabama; it first happens to your interior world. You are Garden number one. You're the Prototype. You're the petri dish for the breakthrough the rest of the city's going to see. And inside of you, all of a sudden this chaotic, tumultuous, swirling of self-effort, self-energy, self-righteousness, self-focus, self-absorption is the real issue gets dealt with by beloved identity, and you start to believe you're as loved as the Father says you are loved. And what does love do? For his great love wherewith he loved us, he raised us up and seated us together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. One of the consequences of beloved identity is—and don't tell me you've got beloved identity and you still pacing. You need to go listen to some old messages. Yes, sir, right? Because you say, "I got it," and this is what we want to do: we want to take beloved identity, check the box, and move on to the next thing. And it is no checking of the box. Knowing how much God loves you is the exploration you were designed for, and we have not scratched the surface to how jealous He is for us. Maybe what you're facing right now that feels like opposition is actually jealousy. That's—you started singing it, didn't you? Maybe what you're facing right now that you keep rebuking is Him saying, "I'm not sharing you. I'm not sharing you with your effort. My effort is [Music] enough, and I love you enough to leave you in that space of extreme tension until you get to the place where you get settled in the Revelation that my work is finished and it is enough." He rested, Hebrews 4, from all of His works, not so you could enter yours. Yahweh did not rest because He's tired. He rested cuz He was [Music] satisfied. He never sleeps nor slumbers. He doesn't have the capacity to get tired or weary. He rested because He said, "I'm satisfied." And if you're restless, it's a satisfaction issue. Absolutely. This is helping me. I hope it's helping somebody. They get—I get into this stuff, I get nervous cuz I'm preaching to me as much as I'm preaching to anybody in the room. Okay, so let's go a little further. Can we go a little further tonight? What time—time is it? Woo, H! Let me say this one more time: a very natural secondary consequence of answering the call to a proximal Ascension is permission to enter into a kingdom realm, simply defined as rest. Come up here, and I'll show you what must take place after this. And there I saw one seated there. I saw one seated upon the throne, the pance of whom was like Jasper and cornelian and Ass sardia Stone. Jesus, at the height of ministerial success, climbs a mountain and is seated. Climbs a mountain and is seated. I've taught for many years, and I want this to be a huge part of our cultural anthropology this fall: that the answer to the world around you is the world within you. One has a superior King, but He must be allowed to rule fully. The King is in you, and His kingdom is in you, and the King cannot be in you without His kingdom, because Jesus doesn't travel anywhere without His world. He brings His world with Him when He comes. This is—this is really what the apostolic means. Apostolic is a naval term. Apostle is a naval term. It means the first ship. Yes. So if we were going to explore another country and ultimately take possession of another land, we would send a first ship. That ship would be called the Apostle. Yes. And that ship would be the first one to hit the land, and the Apostle would be the advanced team that shows up first to begin to witness forth the culture that that whole land is going to be turned into. And the apostolic shows up first to say, "We're the first fruits witness of what all of Mobile is going to look like." So my joy is a prophecy to this city. My marriage is a prophecy to this city. My teenage sons are a prophecy to this city. My spiritual sons and daughters in this room are a prophecy to this city. My relationship to a spiritual father for over—for almost 40 years is a prophecy into this city. Hallelujah! On Hallelujah! My siblings wanting to walk with me, a prophecy into my city. Sons that shut their own ministries down to come be a part of what the Lord's—it's a prophecy into this city. And you having found what you were born for and coming alive the way you were designed to come alive is a prophecy into this city. You're the first ship. There are more coming behind you, sir. There's more coming behind you. There's more coming behind you. You believe that? All right. So let's look at this. This is important. This is important, man. Jesus is at the height of ministerial success, yet He climbs and is seated. He climbs and He is seated. The Narrative has several functions, and I want to focus on just a couple tonight, not keep you here all night, but let's get these two. Okay, number one: He's clearly trying to change the thinking of the Apostles. Philip: "Where will we buy enough food to feed all these people?" He's trying to change the thinking of the Apostles. He's inviting them into a dimension of thought where they are no longer aware of the concept of impossibility. I'm going to say that again: He's inviting them into a dimension of thinking where they are no longer aware—let me say it like this—of the illusion of impossibility. So good, cuz He said, "Nothing is impossible," but it's—"Nothing's impossible for God," right? But He equally says, "Nothing is impossible to him who believes." So me and God operate under the same law of restriction: no impossibilities, cuz nothing is impossible for God, and nothing is impossible for him who believes. So you and God are operating under a—equal law of restriction: no impossibilities. So He's trying not just to feed hungry people; that's part of it. That's number two: He has a heart for people who are looking for something to satisfy them, to find a place where they can find something that will satisfy them. And you and I are the first ship bringing that to this region where they're looking, they're searching, and we can either point at all of the places that they're choosing to eat from and criticize them from eating there, or we can say, "Well, if we had something to give them that was worth anything, maybe they would not have to be settling for so many substitutes. Maybe if we could get this authentic gospel and get it correctly and begin to proclaim it the way it was intended to be proclaimed, which is under the anointing and empowerment of the Holy Spirit with a manifestation of a move of the glory of God, we wouldn't have to worry about people settling for substitutes. People settle for substitutes because they are disenchanted with the real thing. And I think the problem is much of what we've called the real thing is not even the real thing; it's religion. And we're going—"Why do you want drugs? Cuz I was made to be high. Why you want to get drunk? Cuz I was made to be drunk." Yes, "Be filled, wherein is excess with the Spirit," right? Y'all waiting for my drug verse, aren't you? Line upon line, however you want to do it. I—I can help you. What—what—what—ain't no high like the Most High. So here—here's the problem. The problem is we focus on what they've settled for instead of manifesting something so irresistible, no one would ever settle for substitutes again. And now we're receiving grace to manifest something so genuine, so authentic, and so irresistible that we don't have to beg people to come. We don't have any marketing. I'm not going to put a picture of me and Tammy up on a billboard in Dothan Road and tell people, "This is where church is. Praise God, Sunday morning, 10:00 a.m. Central Time. Be there; you'll go to hell." We're going to say, "Just—just walk around and tell people, 'Know who are you and what's different about you, and why—when these people from your church come in my barber shop, do I cry?'" I literally had somebody ask me that question: "Can you explain to me why when the people come in, and why do they tip like that? Did you tell them to tip like that?" I never had a conversation with them about tipping, but they know what they're on the earth for, and they're not here for a haircut; they're here because they're the light of the [Applause] world. It's important that you get seated. Come on, man. It's important that you just not say, "I love God, and I'm worshiping. I'm doing—" I don't understand why this isn't working. It isn't working because it is in—your rest is warring against your pacing, and your pacing is warring against your rest, and you need to tell your pacing that his name is Ishmael, and he needs to remove himself from the camp because he's the last remnants of legalism telling you what you need to do is try harder.
Jossy, I'm going to get my phone out this bag. Somebody must love you, give you a Louis Vuitton backpack like that. I ain't even going to lie; that's pretty solid. How old are you? Louis Vuitton at 11? I has not seen—All right, this is from Mr. Fure. Raise your hand, Mr. Fure. Mr. Fer—here. Luke Fure, taught him his first year of Bible College, been with me for many years, ladies, he's single, gainfully employed, owns his own home, and [Music] thirsty. I'm just saying, it's a radical combination, huh? That is thirsty if you're looking that one up in the dictionary. All right, this is from—we call him Ful Daddy, so he's in my phone as Ful Daddy, and he is that—and he is not arguing that he's thirsty. All right, so he sends me this yesterday, 8:25 a.m. Story that will warm your heart. The high school health class—this is here at our school. He teaches 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. He teaches 7th, 8th, and 9th grade. This is a story that will warm your heart. The high school health class had a unit on spiritual and mental health that had an assignment where you self-evaluate your spiritual condition on like seven criteria. Not exactly smashing the rule is what he says in here. Anybody feel like you've ever evaluated your spiritual condition on seven different criteria? I've lived the hell of that test. He said, "So Ariana Ivy, where's Ariana? Ariana, where are you? Ariana Ivy?" So I'm going to call you out because I know this makes you so comfortable. Your uncle loves to be the center of attention, but you don't necessarily, so I'm sorry. Look at Mama. Mama say, "Amen." Amen. So Ariana Ivy's work on the assignment comes up in my grading queue, and the response was this. This is Ariana—how old? 14—responding to the test on her spiritual condition and self-evaluation. This is her response: "I'm sorry, sir. It's okay if you give me a bad grade, but this whole thing is, if you'll pardon my language, a bunch of religious bull crap, and I don't even know how to do [Applause] [Music] it." God! If I'd have read that in the beginning, I wouldn't had to preach for the last 45 minutes. That's the best thing we've heard all night by far. "You give me a bad grade if you want to." Some of you need to say this to the religious spirit that has been your school teacher for too long. "You can give me a bad grade if you want to, but I am through with this religious bull crap of trying to evaluate how well I'm doing. You know how well I'm doing. His name is Jesus. He is my standard." Come on, somebody! He is my kinsman redeemer. He is my Savior. He is my beginning. He is my end. My first, my last, my one who was and is and is to come. And listen, when you get a necessary elevation in Christology, you'll naturally—right in here where nobody can see it—start to sit down. I—I—there—that's—that's not even page one of many, many pages. So we're going to go on a trip together over the next few weeks, but I want to say this to you: I feel grace right now to see somebody get delivered from their pacing. That's what I feel, Apostle. I just feel like it's time for somebody to go, "I don't know why it's not working. I don't know why it's not working. I don't know why it's working. Just—it just hadn't seemed to click." I thought when we moved here—I thought when we moved here—I thought—move here—I thought we move here—and I thought—I move—I was moving to paradise, and it was going to be glorious and easiness. And for some people it is; for me it is. I don't understand what people are complaining about. As long as that's happening to my kids, I don't give a flying rip how big and important this makes me look and feel. Jesus, mighty God! Struggling. I'm struggling. I'm struggling. And—and here's the thing—here's the thing about it. Let's be honest: you moved here because you were struggling. Just—just—just be honest. You didn't move here cuz everything was perfect where you were, and you want to move here and it be just as perfect as it was where you were before you moved here, because something in you says, "I can't get there from where I am, and I'm going to leverage everything to find where there's Apostolic grace for me to come out of this restlessness in my interior world and find the grace to be seated." I'm more at rest than I've ever been at any other point in time in my life. I'm more—and filled with joy and rest—and I've ever been at any other point in time in my life, and I—I—I am not unburdened with life. I'm the—next church we plant with Matt and CH Page will be the 14th church we oversee. You want to talk about busy? Oversee 14 churches, not counting this one. None of my church overseeing jobs—I don't get paid for any of them. I don't receive a penny from this church, not one dime. None of the other churches do I oversee—I don't receive a penny from them. I am paid exclusively by the partners of Damon Thompson Ministries, and they would still partner with me if I went and lived on the side of a mountain somewhere and released a podcast once a week where I was talking—sitting behind a fish with a fly rod—sitting behind a microphone with a fly rod in my hand. I'm so—I'm such a good fisherman. I already had a fish. You—I'd build me a fire and have me a podcast, and I—we'd still be taken care of. But I believe the Earth is looking for something more than a podcast. I believe the Earth is looking for a culture. I believe the Earth is looking for families in South Carolina, in Georgia, in Florida, in Louisiana, in Texas, in Ohio, in Virginia, in Canada. Where these sons have been sent out—in Louisiana, we got one coming. I can't wait. Just established one in Iowa. And what is happening? The Earth is beginning to receive the first fruits witness of a homestead anthropology and a culture of people are finally being seated. I want to tell you that the end for you is not you being seated; the end for you is you inheriting Authority that only comes by way of you having been seated on a throne. We're going to get to some other parts of this, but Ty, I want you guys to jump up there because you can move this out of the way too if you don't mind. Nate Taylor, yeah, let the boys do it. I like that. I like that. I like that. Bryce stopped being a Florida State fan and as a
Tennessee fan. Now I want that to go across the podcast waves. Bryce is no longer a Florida State fan; he is simply a Tennessee fan, unless Tennessee loses, then he'll go back. Let me say this. Let me say this: What if tonight the father's great love wherewith he loved us would raise us up and set us down? And and doesn't that sound contradictory—raises us up and seats us? But you have to understand the first pull is not to the seat; the first pull is to the face. But when you get there, if you're going to be face to face with him, it won't be you standing and him being seated. Those 24 Elders all have Thrones. You're going to have to become a vibrational match for the rest of the Father if you're going to move in his authority. Cancer is not killing us, friend; stress is. Heart disease is not killing us; stress is. Let's be real. And the Father's trying to say there's stuff going on in you. I'm going to reverse it the moment you enter into rest. There's anxiety you deal with; you wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat. And I'm going to turn that thing around, not because the circumstances get dealt with first, but because first you enter into rest. So I want to I want to release Grace to see the pacing broken off of people tonight, cuz in a minute and just a little while in this story, he was going to make every one of them sit down. Yes, he wasn't even going to give them what they craved until they first learned to sit down. And I'm telling you there's some things that Yahweh has hidden for you that are going to blow your mind, and you are a seated position away from receiving them. Be seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
So I want to speak to the anxiety. I want to speak to the chaos in our interior world. I want to speak to the out-of-sync vibration that causes you to deal with the panic attacks, the anxiety attacks, the worry, and the stress. And you may say, "I don't deal with it on that level," yeah, but if you deal with it on any level, then he's asking you: Don't come up here and then descend back down, and come up here and descend back down, and come up here and descend back down. Don't find a seat, get out of the seat, find a seat, get out of the seat, find a seat. Learn that rest is a fixed Abode; it's a Dwelling Place; it is not circumstantial. Yeshua could sleep in the storm; it didn't matter what was going on around him; there was rest in him. And I feel this powerfully even through the live stream right now, where people are just restless. Even Yahweh is inviting you to make some decisions. Some of you, Yahweh is inviting you to make a move, and you've gone, "What about this? And what about this? And what about this?" And the longer you resist, the more anxiety you feel. And I'm telling you, moving here or moving anywhere in and of itself is not enough; you're going to have to come up and be seated.
So Father, all over this room tonight, by the power of the Holy Ghost, by way of the finished work of Jesus, I release Grace for people to be seated, to come out of the restlessness, to come out of the worry, to come out of the panic, to come out of the stress. Some of you in here, you the the source of your anxiety is fear of missing it. And a fear of missing it is a witness against beloved identity. So good. We you and I have been trained—my God—my God, those of us that were raised up in church, we have been trained to be afraid of missing it, as if this was all so fragile and every bit of it was so contingent upon us making perfect decisions. It's not; it's contingent upon the Revelation that you are too loved for him not to raise you up and seat you together in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. So I see somebody fighting it, and I know this is a redneck analogy, but this is the way I see it by the Spirit: I see a worm wiggling on a hook. You're wiggling on a hook. You're wiggling on a hook. And Yahweh said, "This is the whole thing? You think I'm trying to hook you? I'm not trying to hook you. I want to take that worm and I want to set it right back in the dirt and let it do what it was designed for." Some of you are wiggling because religion has been the prod that has poked you and poked you and poked you, and you think you need to surrender to that poking and that prodding, and Jesus is saying, "I accepted the nails not so you could accept the nails; I accepted the nails so you could be free like a bird in the wind." So I see the wiggling coming to an end. I'm in prophetic mode; I feel this; I see it all over this room. I see people just beginning to find what they were born for, putting their hands back in the dirt. I see hands returning to the soil, and as you bury your hands back in the soil, the coolness of the soil is going to be like a bomb to your very soul. And the Lord says some of the striving and the restlessness and even the confusion and tension is coming to an end. And the Lord said, "Even this fall you're going to be able to walk in the cool of the day while the leaves are falling out of the trees, and it's going to be a restoration and a joy that's going to be returned to your soul." Oh [Music] man. I have paced and I have paced and I have paced and I have paced, and I'm telling you there is no place like rest. And how will he who did not spare his own son but delivered him up for us all, not also freely with him give us all things? And we don't do this a lot here; we're not a big altar call church, cuz we don't want you to come down here and say you're sorry every service, but I do want you to sometimes say, "There's a prophetic move for me tonight that goes, 'You know what I'm doing? I'm coming up here and I'm going to let him seat [Music] me.'"
You know there was a demoniac, a tormented soul, that when the men of the city who had seen the torment of the man living naked in a graveyard, cutting himself with rocks, it says they came and found that man clothed, in his right mind, and seated at the feet of [Music] Jesus. Something about being seated. Martha, Martha, you are concerned about many things, but Mary has chosen that better part, and it will not be taken from her. What had she chosen? She was seated at the feet of Jesus. And I feel—I don't know why—where this is coming from—this is just the Lord—this is—I want to teach on theosis, but I feel the Lord releasing perfect love with wrath and judgment against the spirit—Spirit of restlessness. The perfect love that manifests itself as wrath and judgment against the spirit of restlessness. Some of you are about to experience the glory of the wrath of God as it comes and says, "I love you too much to let you be restless." So the Wrath is not against you; it's against the restlessness. I'm going to break that off of you, and you're going to sleep again tonight like you haven't slept in a long time, and you're going to laugh again on a Saturday morning with your kids like you haven't laughed in a long time, and you're going to get your dance back, get your joy back, get your fire back, and you're going to be a a broker of Hope once again as you leave this place. If you're dealing with that, I don't want to prolong it any longer. If you're dealing with that, I want to invite you to come from all over the room; we're going to pray for you. If you feel that pacing needs to come off you, if you just come all the way forward, you feel that restlessness needs to come off of you, I want to just release Grace for you to come home and be seated in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Come on. Come on. I want you to join us by way of the live stream. I want you right now just join us by way of the live stream. Woo.
