DW Class - Chastisements, Time is Short

Divine Will Meetings1:20:37

Transcription

Thank you for joining us to continue our study of the Divine Will. Uh, we're, uh, today we celebrated the Feast of Saints Simon and Jude, and we certainly can ask them, those Apostles, Holy Apostles, to intercede for us. We are so fortunate to have all the, the cloud of witnesses interceding for us, wanting the Divine Will to reign in us and on Earth as it reigns in Heaven. They understand this far better than we do, even as we're gaining the knowledge, uh, as we study the volumes.

And then in just a few days, we're going to be, um, celebrating the eve of All Saints Day, which is All Hallows' Eve, and All Saints Day, and then, uh, All Souls' Day as well. And so at the end of our recording, um, we will be praying the Divine Bath. We did that at the end of the Rosary, but we, we'll pray it again. It is a wonderful prayer that, uh, everyone could pray many, many times, um, all the time, but especially on All Souls' Day.

I want to mention, though, before, um, before we, uh, pray the consecration prayer, I received an email from one of our participants, and it's not uncommon to get this, uh, from, uh, when I first started studying Louisa's writings in 1996, and, and from 1997 onward, it was unsettling at times, uh, the different people who would say that Louisa Picaretta was a heretic, or that her writings were heresy. And then as a priest, when I started, uh, uh, helping, um, people that had been attending meetings before I went to the seminary, uh, I actually had one of, uh, my parishioners come to me in 2005, a little bit, uh, surprised. And I had been, um, meeting this, this parishioner in the confessional, so, uh, this person knew my orthodoxy related to the teachings of the Church, uh, but, uh, someone had told this person that I was a heretic because, uh, I, uh, promote the writings of the Servant of God, Louisa Picaretta.

So, as you know, on the internet, you can find anything and everything, the positive and the negative, about every issue nowadays. And so, if, if people are looking in the wrong places to, uh, those who present themselves as being authorities about so many different things, there can be errors. And it also applies to some of the things that are on the web about Louisa Picaretta and her writings. Um, we did record, um, Katie's introduction, and it's on our, uh, on our YouTube page. And, uh, we will also be recording, uh, on December 10th, um, Debbie Biglin's introduction. I'm going to have introduction presentations that are days of prayer from different persons so that there are the different perspectives related to what helped them, uh, embrace the writings of the Servant of God. But I can assure you that every one of them that have continued to read and are part of the leadership team looked very seriously at the Church's position related to the writings of the Servant of God. So there's plenty of evidence that she, number one, is not a heretic and that her writings are not heresy and have been strongly embraced by the appropriate authorities at the Vatican level. And so, don't worry when someone tries to discourage you from reading the writings. Just open your heart, ask the Lord, make the sign of the cross, and ask the Lord to give you what's in the volumes for you, and you will be amazed over time at what you gain.

Then I want to go on to say, you know, as I mentioned, we'll be celebrating, uh, All Saints Day and All Souls' Day, and Halloween is All Hallows' Eve. And, and, uh, so I got an email from one of our parishioners because the, uh, religious education coordinator that's helping me, we just went through a change in, in the workers for our catechical program, at least some of them. And, um, uh, I asked that, uh, all the children not dress up with anything other than what would glorify God, Saints, or scriptural characters, or, uh, just even people in life that have a, a good service is acceptable as well, but to avoid all semblance of evil. And so I got an email from one of the parents saying, so, are, are Catholics not supposed to be celebrating Halloween? And, uh, you know, if we think through our own life experience, it's really a very small portion of the Church's history, but to us, it can seem like the whole picture. And this particular family probably had not had an explanation before. And so, uh, on the Confirmation RCIA class that I give on Mondays in Campo, we go through, uh, different topics that they bring as questions as part of the, uh, the evening that we spend together. And, uh, there's plenty of information on the web, solid information on the web, related to to, uh, All Hallows' Eve.

In just a moment, I'm going to pull up a little bit from a wonderful article on the National Catholic Register. It's already scrolling down quite a bit as they put new articles up, so you might have to look a little further down on their page to find the whole article. But I'll give just a quotation from the beginning of the article. And it would be nice if the United States would respond the way the people of Poland do related to All Hallows' Eve. And, uh, First Saturday is, uh, a week from tomorrow. And anybody that lives within reasonable driving distance to Campo at 8:00, we'll have Eucharistic Adoration, confessions available at that time. Uh, First Saturday Mass at 9:00 a.m., and then an open, uh, table discussion of Louisa's writings for about two hours afterwards. That's on the First Saturday. This time in Campo, we alternate the churches, so every other First Saturday, we're in Campo, then in, uh, Hakuma. So those of you who can join us, please do. That'll be a week from tomorrow.

And so now I'm going to bring up, uh, the prayer of consecration. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Come, Divine Will, to reign. And our praying be the life of all that we say and do. Animate every part of our being, so that we may be vessels within whom Your Divine Will reigns on Earth as it does in Heaven, and be instruments to bring the light of the Divine Will to all souls we meet. And so we pray: Oh, adorable and Divine Will, here I am before the immensity of Your light. That Your Eternal Goodness may open to me the doors and make me enter into it to form my life all in You, Divine Will. Therefore, prostrate before Your light, I, the least among all creatures, come, oh Adorable Will, into the little group of the first children of Your Supreme Fiat. Prostrate in my nothingness, I beseech and implore Your endless light that it may want to invest me and eclipse everything that does not belong to You, in such a way that I may do nothing other than look, comprehend, and live in You, oh Divine Will. It will be my life, the center of my intelligence, the enrapture of my heart and of my whole being. In this heart, the human will will no longer have life. I will banish it forever and will form the new Eden of peace, of happiness, and of love with the Divine Will. I shall always be happy. I shall have a unique strength and a holiness that sanctifies all things and brings everything to God. Here, prostrate, I invoke the help of the Sacrosanct Trinity that they admit me to live in the cloister of the Divine Will so as to restore in me the original order of creation, just as the creature was created. Celestial Mother, Sovereign Queen of the Divine Fiat, take me by the hand and enclose me in the light of the Divine Will. You will be my guide, my most tender Mother. You will guard me and will teach me to live in and to maintain myself in the order and in the bounds of the Divine Will. So, Celestial Queen, to Your heart I entrust my whole being. I will be the little child of the Divine Will. You will teach me the Divine Will, and I will listen attentively to Your lessons. You will lay Your blue mantle over me so that the infernal serpent may not dare to penetrate into this sacred Eden to entice me and make me fall into the maze of the human will. Heart of my highest Good, Jesus, You will give me Your flames that they may burn me, consume me, and nourish me to form in me the life of the Supreme Will. St. Joseph, You will be my protector, the custodian of my heart, and will keep the keys of my will in Your hands. You will keep my heart jealously and will never give it to me again, that I may be sure never to go out of the Will of God. Guardian Angel, guard me, defend me, help me in everything, so that my Eden may grow flourishing and be the call of all people into the Kingdom of the Will of God. Celestial Court, come to my help, and I promise you to live always in the Divine Will. Amen. Louisa, little daughter of the Divine Will, teach us to live in the Divine Will. Come, Divine Will, to reign on Earth, and through the intercession of Louisa, send us, Lord, apostles to the Kingdom of the Divine Will, and make us, Lord, apostles to the Kingdom of the Divine Will. We pray for priests. As I've mentioned at meetings regularly, all priests, certainly, I, all priests need ongoing prayer support, and we all need the purification and sanctification that God alone can bring to the open hearts of priests, a better understanding in these critical times when there's so much confusion, even sometimes confusing things being said by some who are leaders in the Church. And so we pray for all the ordained. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the precious Body, Wounds, and Blood of Thy beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb without spot or blemish, in reparation for my sins and for the sins of all Thy priests. Come, Divine Will, by Thy precious Body, Wounds, and Blood, O Jesus, purify and sanctify Thy priests and all souls. Oh Father, from whom all fatherhood in Heaven and on Earth is named, have mercy on all Thy priests. Wash us in the Blood of the Lamb. Amen.

And then I made mention of that article that, uh, is in the National Catholic Register. At the bottom here is the link. If you can take a screenshot of that if you want to read the whole article. He said, "In Poland, Halloween is hallowed, not hellish. Halloween is increasingly being stripped of its Catholic essence worldwide, except in Poland, where traditions remembering the Saints in Heaven and faithfully departed in Purgatory are carried on with devotion." The voice of the people is the voice of God, says a Polish proverb, which could be quite rightly used on the eve of two days of celebrations surrounding the Saints and the departed souls. It is indeed the voice of God that millions of Poles seek to embody by filling their streets, squares, and cemeteries to honor the memory of their ancestors and celebrate the promise of eternal life in Christ. Events in cities throughout Poland, October 31st, will reaffirm the Christian identity of All Saints' Eve. Holy Wind, uh, movement that began in Europe in the early 2000s, was born as a reaction to the morbid, secular version of Halloween that originated in the United States and has spread worldwide. And so it's so important to teach our families, uh, not too assertively, because it can, it can be divisive if we don't give enough of the history of All Hallows' Eve and the, the very intentions that should be, uh, a part of our celebrations. And, uh, so, uh, that article, and there are many other good articles related to the, the focus that we should have as we go about celebrating Halloween. We'll save the Divine Bath for the end of the meeting, along with the Deliverance Prayer. Thank you, Molly, for being with us. And, um, if you would please, uh, let us begin with November 11th, 1915, on page 109.

"The souls who live in the Divine Will are other Christs." This morning, I felt such compassion for the offenses that Jesus receives and for the many poor creatures who have the misfortune of offending Him, that I would face any pain in order to prevent sin, and I prayed and repaired from the heart. In the meantime, Blessed Jesus came and seemed to carry the same wounds of my heart. But oh, how much larger! He told me, "My daughter, in issuing the creature, my Divine Will remained as though wounded by my own love. For love of the creature, this wound made me come down from Heaven to Earth, to cry and shed my blood and do all that I did. Now, the soul who lives in My Will feels this wound of Mine vividly, as if it were her own. She cries and prays and would suffer anything to save the poor creature, and so that My wound of love may not be exacerbated by the offenses of creatures." Ah, my daughter, these tears, prayers, pains, reparations soothe My wound and descend upon My breast like shining gems, and I glory in keeping them on My breast to show them to My Father so as to move Him to pity toward creatures. So a Divine vein ascends and descends between these souls and Me, which keeps consuming their human blood. And the more they share in My wound and in My very life, the larger this Divine vein becomes. It becomes so large that they become other Christs. And I keep repeating to the Father, "I am in Heaven, but there are other Christs on Earth who are wounded with My same wound, who cry like Me, who suffer, who pray, etc." Therefore, we must pour our mercies upon the Earth. Ah, only these who live in My volition, who share in My wound, are like Me on Earth and will be like Me in Heaven by sharing in the same glory of My Humanity.

In this passage, from the title line and down through the passage, wherever human beings are referred to as "other Christs," just so that I would remember when sharing with those who are studying the Divine Will in different groups, I made it a lowercase "c." Even though it is the Divine Will that gives us the likeness, more perfected, uh, to Christ, still, um, never equal to Christ. And so we keep that in mind because, uh, when we're talking to people that, uh, take something out of context or haven't gone from one through eleven, we, we wouldn't want anybody to think that, uh, students of the Divine Will think we will ever be equal to the Second Person of the Trinity in His humanity. However, we don't want to miss the very important work of being "other Christs," small "c." Priests have been understood, uh, throughout the history of the Church as *alter Christus*, other Christs, and it's because in the Church, it has been understood that Christ Himself operates in the ordained priest, at least really. The Lord wants this in every part of the priest's life, 24/7, but at least in his administration of his sacerdotal duties, so in all the sacraments and leading in liturgical prayers. But, uh, in, if, uh, if a person reads, um, um, *Sacerdos ad Altare*, that's *To My Priests*, that was compiled by Cardinal Biffi, what she received in interlocutions to write down for priests is just an affirmation of what the Church has and should be teaching today. And that is that what the Lord wants is, uh, the ordained priest to be *alter Christus* 24/7, that he take into consideration all that he does being a vessel within whom Christ Himself is acting. And so Jesus is teaching us, has been, and will continue in the volumes to teach all the laity, the royal priesthood, because of Baptism, that there is an elevated role for one who is learning to have the Divine Will animate their actions. So it is Christ Himself that's operating, and that's what conforms the, uh, the students, sons and daughters of the Divine Will to this *alter Christus*, or other Christ, again, a small "c," but Christ Himself operating in our actions. And those who are recipients of the gift of the Divine Will are 24/7 in all that they are doing, being animated by the Most Holy Will of God, Christ Himself in the humanity. And that's why Jesus is referring to the sons and daughters of the Divine Will in this passage as "other Christs" on Earth, places within whom, souls within whom, humanities within whom He can reign completely, and, and continue, uh, His, uh, work on Earth in the souls that avail themselves of this instrumentality.

I start this particular passage and bracketed a few places because it underscores the mission of the sons and daughters of the Divine Will. So when she's weeping over, uh, the horrible suffering of Our Lord, we need to, uh, understand that for us, a shift is necessary. When, let's say, for example, there's someone in your family, or something that's happening in your congregation, or in your city, or in your nation, and, uh, uh, you're weeping because things aren't going the way you want them to, you see the, the terrible situation of those who are dear to you, that may not be living, uh, uh, as faithfully as you know is necessary to be in a secure relationship with the Lord on their journey towards our final day. That day is the way it's referred to in places in the scripture. And you can be crying over the, the situation related to them. But what Louisa is doing, and what sons and daughters of the Divine Will are are called to do, is to take that pain and instead of having it focused on the individual or the individuals, the, the number of people that are involved in whatever would be contrary to giving glory to God and living the fulfillment of their purpose on Earth, is to give that pain as a sacrificial offering to, uh, appease the Most Holy Trinity and also to ease the suffering that Jesus goes through. She says, "I would face any pain in order to prevent sin," and it's because of the offense and the suffering that causes Jesus. "And I prayed and repaired from the heart." So this is part of the work of sons and daughters of the Divine Will. We are to invite the Divine Will to pray in our praying. And then we take the, the pain of whatever we see happening in the world that is so disordered, and we don't have to look very far, and we don't have to know every sorted detail. It's sufficient to know that the world is in a terrible state, and especially this nation and leadership in this nation, and even some people in the Church. And so that's sufficient. We don't have to know blow by blow, uh, what's going on out there to engage in with the Divine Will an offering of sorrow and, uh, and an appeal for graces of conversion, as if those very souls that are causing trouble were making the appeal themselves.

Then we move on. "Now, the soul who lives in My Will feels the wound of Mine vividly." So it will, it will wound the heart more and more because of love. When you really, really love somebody and you see them suffering terribly, uh, you suffer with. And this is exactly what He is saying will be happening for souls that live in His Will. "Feels the wound of Mine vividly, as if it were her own. She cries and prays and would suffer anything to save the poor creatures." Now, it's not just for the sake of the creatures, but because it hurts the Lord so much to have any of His creatures lost. And so I underlined "and so that my wound." So there's the, the double benefit of a soul that is, uh, praying with and in the Divine Will. "And so that My wound of love may not be exacerbated by the offenses of creatures." So, uh, to mitigate and to repair. And then we go on. "My daughter, these tears, prayers, and pains and reparations soothe My wound and descend upon My heart like shining gems." How wonderful for a soul that has striven to do this. And, uh, we can try and, and, uh, and not be able to, to do it constantly or as well as Louisa, unless, uh, the souls are recipients of the gift of living in the Divine Will, that 24/7 reality of being in, in a unity with the Lord in every regard and in all that the Divine Volition is doing. But how wonderful, even for, uh, souls, those of us who invite the Divine Will to pray and are praying and engaged in this kind of work, on that day when we see the Lord face to face, to see Him say, "You soothed My wounds. Your sorrows, your suffering, your sacrifices, they descended into My heart like gems, shining gems." And I can assure you, there are souls who will be totally delighted with the recompense that God is preparing for souls that strive to live and pray this way.

"A Divine vein ascends and descends between these souls and Me." So there is, uh, like a circulation of His precious blood, or a circulation of the light of His Will that is ascending and descending. In other places, Louisa talks about how it's like electric wires. She's not reducing it to electricity, but she's trying to use examples that we can relate to of what she's been given to see. And it's like this, this flow of Divine Life that is, uh, ascending and descending between the Lord and the souls that are living this way. And then down in the last paragraph, after a reference to becoming, uh, "other Christs," small "c," by the by His Will reigning in us, being conformed more, more to the fullness of Catholicism. The fullness of Catholicism is what true Christianity is. If it wasn't for Catholicism, there wouldn't be Christianity. All, all Christianity flows from the Church established by Christ. Even if they don't call themselves Catholic, that what they do embrace that is truth has been contained, at least in part of it, in the full deposit of Faith. Therefore, we must pour our mercies upon the Earth. Jesus is saying this related to the Trinity pouring mercies upon the Earth because of the souls that are striving to live this way, that are wanting to be "other Christs" on Earth. And this is exactly, uh, the, the army that in Volume 12, we're going to hear Jesus addressing. He's gathering an army, and this is exactly what the army is to be about. And we're privileged to, uh, to have, uh, recruitment, uh, occurring at this time. Anybody who reads the volumes and wants to take to heart the lessons that are being offered is, uh, we're, we're being moved to be part of the, the army for a final battle. Okay, go ahead.

November 13th, 1915. "Necessity for Jesus to give Communion to Himself before giving it to others. How the soul must offer her Communion." After I had received Holy Communion, I thought to myself, "How should I offer it in order to please Jesus?" And He, always benign, told me, "My daughter, if you want to please Me, offer it as My own Humanity did. Before giving Communion to others, I gave Communion to Myself, and I wanted to do this in order to give to the Father the complete glory of all the communions of creatures and to enclose within Me all the reparations for all the sacrileges, for all the offenses that My Humanity would receive in the Sacrament. Since My Humanity enclosed the Divine Will, it enclosed all reparations of all times. And since I received Myself, I received Myself worthily. And since all the works of creatures were divinized by My Humanity, with My Communion, I wanted to seal the communions of creatures. Otherwise, how could the creature receive a God? It was My Humanity that opened this door to creatures and earned for them that they might receive Me. Now you, My daughter, do it in My Divine Will. Unite it to My, unite it to My Humanity. In this way, you will enclose everything, and I will find in you the reparations of all the compensation for everything and My satisfaction. Even more, I will find in you another Me."

So there's that "another Christ," small "c," but finding Him, capitalizing the "M" is appropriate because He who operates in one whose actions are being divinized, no human being can generate divinized acts. Human beings can give our acts to the divinizing life, the Divine Life of Our Lord, the Divine Will reigning in us. I dog-eared this page because she's asking, "How can I best receive Holy Communion? How, how should I be praying? What, what do You want of me when I come to receive Holy Communion?" And so this would be, you could make a copy of this, keep it in your wallet or in your pocket or your purse, and, uh, if, and if you have the time and the generosity to spend, uh, a few minutes after the final blessing and people are leaving, hope, leaving quietly. I know in some churches, it almost becomes like a parish hall as soon as Mass is over. Everywhere that I've gone, I've tried to, uh, help people understand that that is not the, the behavior that's appropriate to being in the Church. That it's not the parish hall. We have little notices at the entrance of both of our churches that, um, "Jesus is truly present. Please give Him in silence all your attention." And it has worked pretty well for our little churches. I don't know how well it would work unless it was being explained by the pastor and the pastoral team, uh, a few times so that people start to realize that visiting outside or in the hall is appropriate. In the church, all attention should be given to the King. And so she wants to do this well. And so, uh, for a few minutes after, uh, the final blessing and people are leaving, you could take this focus. And, uh, He says, "If you want to please Me." Well, that's a pretty good qualifier. "Offer it as My own Humanity did." So I've, uh, encouraged people, when you're in line going up to receive Holy Communion, that's an excellent time to be inviting the Divine Will. "Come, Divine Will, to receive Holy Communion in me. Jesus, I want You receiving You in this Holy Communion. I want You, who are the only one who can perfectly receive Yourself, and with the proper, um, veneration and love, worship, adoration, sorrow for sins, and desire to make this communion also a communion of reparation for so many offenses against Your Eucharistic, um, presence." And, uh, then going back to the pew, you can take, go on from there.

"Before giving Communion to others, I gave Communion to Myself." You know that, uh, it is required of every priest that's that's offering the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to receive Holy Communion. And, uh, uh, this is throughout the Church. It is a requirement. And, uh, here we have one reason why, because Christ Himself received Himself at the Last Supper. And so He made this, uh, sacerdotal reception of His Real Presence, um, first for us. And so we're, uh, fulfilling the priestly, uh, purpose, following the example of the Eternal High Priest, when we receive Communion at the appropriate time at Mass. And so He says, "I received Myself in order to give the Father." And so here is what we're to be doing in order to give the Father the complete glory of all the communions of creatures. So He did it first, and He makes it possible for sons and daughters of the Divine Will to give the Father the complete glory of all the communions of creatures. Remember that when we are praying in the Divine Will, we're bringing before the Most Holy Trinity all souls past, present, and future. We can give to the Most Holy Trinity the worship, the adoration, the love, the sorrow for sins, the reparation, uh, the, uh, joy and glory of receiving, uh, the Living God into our being, even on the part of those who never had the privilege of receiving Communion, never were a member of the Church. We can give the Most Holy Trinity, uh, what the Trinity deserves, as if they had received, uh, rightly, Communion themselves.

Then we go on. "And since all the works of creatures were divinized by My Humanity." So every human act for every human being from Adam and Eve to the last that will live on the planet, uh, all those acts were perfectly divinized, redeemed, and offered to the Father, uh, as a worthy offering. "With My Communion, I wanted to seal the communions of creatures." Now you, My daughter, and so you, the Lord is not just speaking to Louisa, He's certainly speaking to her and through her to us. "Do it in My Will. Unite it to My Humanity." You know, in the Eucharistic Prayer, when Jesus says, "Do this," it's not, "It would be nice if you would do this, if you like, go ahead and do it." When He says, "Do this," it's instruction, and it's instruction with His power. And so for those who are, are learning this, He's telling us, "Do this," even at the same level of when He says, "Do this in remembrance of Me" in the Eucharistic Prayer. And so He wants us to do what He did. And, uh, "do this, uh, do it in My Will, united to My Humanity."

"In this way, you will enclose everything." Now, on our own, we can't do that. With the Divine Will, there is no limit to bringing, uh, on behalf of all of humanity, to the Trinity what the Trinity deserves. "And I will find in you the reparations of all the compensation for everything, and My satisfaction. Even more, I will find in you another Me." So when we strive to, uh, take these instructions, inviting His, inviting the Lord to operate in us, He will find in us His own being, His own presence operating in us. That's the only way we can be "other Christs." Go ahead.

November 21st, 1915. "Man forces God to chastise him and to make Himself known by means of Justice." Finding myself in my usual state, I saw my always lovable Jesus for just a little, and I prayed Him for pity's sake to change the decrees of Divine Justice. I said to Him, "My Jesus, no more! My poor heart is crushed in hearing about so many tragedies. Jesus, enough! It is Your dear images, Your beloved children, that moan, cry, and grieve under the weight of almost infernal instruments." And He, "My daughter, yet all the terrible things that are happening now are only the sketch of the design. Don't you see what a large circle I am marking? What will happen when I execute the design? At many points, they will say, 'Here are such and such city, here such and such buildings.' Some points will disappear completely. Time is short. Man has reached the point of forcing Me to chastise him. He wanted to almost challenge Me, to incite Me, and I remained patient. But all times come. They did not want to know Me by means of love and mercy; they will know Me by means of Justice. Therefore, courage, do not lose heart so soon."

So He's making it clear, uh, and this was back in 1915, that there are things coming, uh, from that date to the present, there are things coming that are going to require greater, um, chastisements. And she's appealing to Him because we are His images, created in His image and likeness. But He responds, uh, that, uh, uh, all the terrible things that are happening now, He says to her in 1915, is just a sketch. It's like the, you know, when an artist is going to do something, he sketches it out first, and then he fills it in. And so the sketch is like, it's just a hint of what's going to be necessary. And it's not because He wants it to be. When He says at the end of this passage, "by means if they, if they do not want to know Me by means of love and mercy, they will know Me by means of Justice," and He's not saying that because from the attitude they're going to really get it. No, it's by means of Justice that more souls, in the desperate condition that the world is in and will be brought to yet ahead, to their knees to come to know Him, to recognize our total inability to be the little gods that, uh, many are striving to live as if they were in these times. We, we can't miss this part at the top of the page where He says, "At many points, they will say, 'Here there was such and such city.'" So there's going to be a devastation that will take out, uh, complete regions, and people will point to what had happened here and what had happened there. There used to be so many people here, used to be beautiful buildings here, the things that we, uh, uh, have seen as, uh, wonderful works of architectural structures, and they're going to get wiped out. I, I think of a friend that sometimes gets interlocutions, and this friend was in an airliner flying in to make a presentation or some kind of meeting in a, in a very beautiful metropolis in the United States. And the person was looking out the window. It was dusk, but the lights were showing. And so the person said to the Lord, "How beautiful this is." And almost immediately, she says, she heard the Lord say, "In the not too distant future, this will all be reduced to rubble." Now, it's not that He wants that. He keeps trying to get our attention in so many different ways. And that's why it's so important that we have more and more, uh, aspiring sons and daughters of the Divine Will, learning and applying what these lessons that the Lord is giving us offer, so that, in a sense, the dike is being held back so that graces continue to be poured out, and that the chastisements that are presently being experienced may be recognized as such. The media, and, uh, even believers sometimes, rush to disregard God's involvement with all the chaos, all the hardship, all the earthquakes and and tsunamis and volcanoes that are cropping up, the, the storms, the weather, blaming, uh, all of this on having too many cars or too many people on the planet. It's like any excuse will do rather than to accept the fact that the sinfulness of humanity is bringing upon ourselves consequences that, uh, the Lord is wanting to use to wake us up so that we turn more and more towards Him before, before the end. Okay, go ahead, please.

December 10th, 1915. "The soul must make the prayers, the works, and the sufferings of Jesus her own, so as to have in her power all the good that they produced." I was feeling so very afflicted because my sweet Jesus, my life, my all, did not make Himself seen. I was lamenting. "If I could, I would deafen Heaven and Earth with my laments so as to move Him to compassion for my poor state. What a great misfortune to know Him, to love Him, and to remain without Him! Can there ever be a graver misfortune?" But while I was lamenting, Blessed Jesus, making Himself seen in my interior, told me with a severe look, "My daughter, do not tempt Me. Why this? I told you everything so as to let you be tranquil. I told you that when I abstain from coming, it is because I have to tighten stronger chastisements, because My Justice wants it so. And I even told you the reasons before. You would not believe that it was in order to chastise that I was not coming as usual, because you did not hear that great chastisements were happening in the world. Now you hear them, and in spite of this, you still doubt. Is this not tempting Me?" I was shaking and seeing and hearing Jesus so severe. And in order to calm me down, He changed His look, and all kindness, added, "My daughter, courage. I do not leave you. I am in sight of you, although you do not always see Me. And you unite yourself always with Me. If you pray, let your prayer flow in Mine and make it your own. In this way, all that I did with My prayers, the glory I gave to the Father, the good I impetrate for all, you will do as well. If you work, let your work flow in Mine and make it your own. In this way, you will have your power and the, and I'm sorry, you will have in your power all the good that My Humanity did, which sanctified and divinized everything. If you suffer, let your suffering flow in Mine and make it your own. And in this way, you will have in your power all the good that I did in Redemption. By this, you will take the three essential points of My life, and as you do so, immense seas of graces will come out of you, which will pour out for the good of all. And I will look at your life not as your own, but as Mine."

So there He is saying again, He will look at a soul that operates this way, certainly Louisa with the gift of the Divine Will, but He's, He's wanting us to know this is His desire for us as well, that when He looks at us, He will see Himself. When He looks at her works, her actions, He will see them as His own. This is what He wants for each and every one of us. I start this passage, and, uh, it's important as you go through it, if you do again sometime in the near future, to, to notice how many times He says, "If." "If you pray," "if you suffer," because He then, uh, underscores the benefit or the good that's accomplished when it's done inviting the Divine Will into those acts. At the top of the, uh, of this passage, if I could, I would deafen Heaven and Earth. This is Louisa because she's in agony over not being able to sense His presence. She makes it clear that it's a, she says, a great misfortune, it's a suffering, this privation of experiencing Him, because, because He's in her, and she knows this. Because many times up to this point, and it's going to continue, when she has no sense of His presence, she doesn't feel Him, she doesn't hear Him, she doesn't see Him, and then He moves in her interior, and He's in our interior as well, especially in an increasing way when we invite the Divine Will to reign in us, because it gives Him more freedom within us. But she's, she's suffering terribly because she's been given such great gifts of seeing Him, hearing Him, having His embrace and kisses, and, uh, so it's, it's she's longing for this. But, uh, uh, she's maybe a little too focused on how much it's costing her at the moment, because Jesus comes with a sternness, explaining to her, "I've already explained to you," reminding her, "I've already explained to you that when this happens, it is because I'm chastising." And we know that she suffers when she knows that He's chastising. But He's also making it clear that she needs to accept what He's doing as His Will for the good of those who are, are experiencing the chastisement. When things look so terrible, if we remind ourselves that the Will of God is in act in some way that's beyond our understanding, it doesn't, uh, it doesn't change the fact that the, the challenge, the, uh, the suffering that we experience, whether it's physical, mental, spiritual, or, you know, or all of those, it doesn't change the pain of it. But it, it can, uh, it can give an understanding or remind us of the value of embracing the Will of God in every detail. You know, many times He uses the expression, "Everything, everything, everything is His Will as it's unfolding." And so He's reminding her of this reality. He says, "My Justice wants it so." And it's not because He wants the people to suffer, but He wants the Justice to bring about an awakening in the minds and hearts of people. "I even told you the reasons." Well, we had that in the two previous passages. "Before, you would not believe that it was in order to chastise." "Is this not tempting Me?" When, when you're longing for My, uh, the sense of My presence instead of offering the suffering that you're experiencing as part of the, uh, reparative work. And then He goes on, "I was shaking." Or she says, "I was shaking in hearing Jesus so severe." And because of His, his love, because of His tenderness, His compassion, when He's firm with us, He wants us to understand that we're loved, even in those moments. In my most sinful moments of my life, in my, uh, most, uh, neglectful moments in my life, He was never not loving me. That's, uh, that's something we all need to realize, not presumptuously so we go ahead and keep on doing what that does not glorify God and is damaging for ourselves, but that, that's how great His love is. That, and this in this situation, He, He appears with the sternness. And then He goes on, "My daughter, courage." So His, his gaze changed, and He gave her this sense of His kindness, as He says, "My daughter, courage. I do not leave you. I am inside of you." He's saying that to us as well. And really, that's what makes sin so terrible. He's always with us. He's in us, participating, uh, because of His presence in us, in the things that we put Him through as we commit sin. So we, we want to avoid sin at, at any cost. And then He goes on, "Unite yourself always with Me. If you pray." So here comes a qualifier or a benefit. "Let your prayer flow in Mine and make it your own." So we unite our prayers to His prayers on behalf of humanity. In this way, "all that I did with My prayers, the glory I gave to the Father, the good I impetrate for all, you will do as well." That's it. That's beyond our understanding. The good that He's, He's saying, if you pray, unite yourself with Me, and then the goods that I accomplish will be, uh, something that you participate in as well. "If you work, let your work flow in Mine and make it your own." In this way, so each of these, uh, conditions, if you do such and such, then such and such will happen. And all of it is His benevolence in a limitless way. "In this way, you will have in your power all the good that My Humanity did, which sanctified and divinized everything." Whenever He uses the word "everything," we need to stop for a moment and think about what, when He, when God says "everything," how, how immense it is. And He's offering us a participation in that immense good. "If you suffer, let your suffering flow in Mine and make it your own." Okay. So, uh, His suffering is a gift for us, but the way it's qualified is that our suffering must be a gift for Him. And then we have this compenetration. What more could a soul ask for? In fact, how would a soul dare to even ask for that if He wasn't offering it? And then He goes on, that if we follow these three essential points, that our work, our life, He will see as His own. Okay, go ahead.

January 12th, 1916. "Almost all nations have united in offending God and have conspired against Him." I was lamenting to Blessed Jesus because of His usual privations, and I was crying bitterly. And my adorable Jesus came, but in a sorrowful state, showing how things will get worse and worse. This made me cry more. And Jesus told me, "My daughter, you cry over the present times, and I cry over the future. Oh, in what a maze will the nations find themselves, to the point that one will become the terror and the massacre of the other, such that they will be unable to get out by themselves. They will do things as though crazy, as though blind, to the point of acting against themselves. And the maze which poor Italy is in, how many shocks she will receive! Remember how many years ago I told you that she deserved the chastisement of being invaded by foreign nations. This is the plot that they are hatching against her. How humiliated and annihilated she will remain! She has been too ungrateful with Me. The nations for which I had a predilection, Italy and France, are the ones which have denied Me the most. They held hands in offending Me. Just chastisement, they will hold hands in being humiliated. They will also be the ones which will wage war more against the Church. Ah, my daughter, almost all nations have united in offending Me. They have conspired against Me. What wrong have I done to them? So almost all of them deserve chastisement. But who can say the sorrow of Jesus, the state of violence in which He was? And also my fright, my fear." I said to my Jesus, "How can I live amid so many tragedies? Either You will let me be."

The Vic and spare the peoples, or you take me with you. Well, this certainly applies, and we, we've seen it historically related to Italy and France, uh, from 1916 onward. But it also applies to the United States, the land of the free, one nation under God. And when he says, "The nations for which I had predilection are the ones which have denied me the most," what's going on in in our nation today? It's, it's, um, unimaginable. In fact, I don't think even the people who are, uh, fairly neutral related to religion, uh, 50 years ago, I doubt that they could have even imagined the kinds of things that are going on today.

Uh, the, uh, the homosexuality, the transgenderism, and now the, um, transhumanism that's being promoted in so many different ways. Uh, the idea that, um, putting computer chips in the brain surgically so that, uh, uh, transhumanism will move forward and supposedly, um, uh, make us super humans. They've been watching too many of the ridiculous movies in the theater and are trying, are aspiring to to elevate humanity above what God created us to be. And what they don't understand is that He's already making it possible for us to live in His image and likeness in a, in a divine manner. But, uh, that requires a relinquishment of the control that is, is the constant frenzy for for human beings today, trying to act as little gods, independent of God. And so, this, this country that has been part of His predilection, that is hurting Him so much, is begging for more and more tragedies. And, uh, our part is to be offering our prayers, our pain, uh, and our trust in the Lord, that He, He can use all things for the good of His children and to bring children, His children back to Him.

Okay, go ahead.

January 28th, 1916. Constrained love is the greatest bitterness. Suspension of the state of victim. I felt oppressed and I thought to myself, "How everything is over." State of victim. Suffering. Jesus. Everything. I add that the confessor was not well, and therefore it was likely that I would have to remain without communion. I felt all the weight of the suspension of my state of victim on the part of Jesus. As for the guide, I had received no order either in favor or against it. To this, I also added my affliction, as I remembered that on March of last year, when the confessor was not well and I was in the same condition, Jesus had told me that if I, the one who guides me, would keep me in the state of victim, He would spare Curado. Therefore, new fear that I might, that I myself might be the cause of some grave trouble also in Curado. But who can say all my apprehensions and bitterness? There were so many that I felt petrified.

Now, my blessed Jesus, having compassion, made Himself seen in my interior, and He seemed to have His hand on His forehead, all afflicted. So much so that I did not have the courage to call Him. Almost whispering, I just said, "Jesus, Jesus." He looked at me, but oh, how sad was His gaze. He told me, "My daughter, how much I suffer. If you knew the pains of the one who loves you, you would do nothing but cry. I suffer for you also because, since I do not come very often, my love is constrained and I cannot pour myself out. And in seeing that you too cannot pour yourself out because you do not see me, in seeing you suffer, I suffer more."

"Ah, my daughter, constrained love is the greatest bitterness which tortures a poor heart the most. If you remain quiet while suffering, I do not suffer so much. But if you afflict yourself, worry in your suffering, I fidget and become delirious, and I am forced to come to pour myself out and to let you pour yourself out, since my pains and yours are sisters. And besides, your state of victim is not over. My works are eternal, and it is not without a just reason that I suspend them, though without making them end. The besides, I look at things in the will, so you are as you used to be because your will has not changed. And if you do not have sufferings, you are not the one who receives harm. Rather, it is the creatures that do not receive the effects of your pains that are to be spared the scourges. It happens as to the creatures who occupy public offices or government positions for a given time. Even when they retire from those positions, they receive a life salary. Should I be outdone by creatures? Oh, no. If those are given pensions for life, I give them for eternity. Therefore, you must not be concerned about the pauses I make. And then, why do you fear? Have you forgotten how much I have loved you? The one who guides you will be prudent, knowing how things are and how they have been, and I will have regard for Curado, as for you. Then, whatever might happen, I will hold you tightly in my arms."

So, uh, if we don't understand the theology of suffering, and certainly in these volumes, we're getting lessons constantly. But in the Church, if we look at the, uh, the history of the Church and the embracing of the cross that has been exemplified by so many saints in the Church, some hidden that we won't know about until we're on the other side, but many, many in their writings and their accounts and the testimony related to their lives, embracing the cross and seeing it as a privilege to be more united with the Lord and to obtain, uh, graces of conversion. In fact, they would even use the expression, "I'm saving souls." And they didn't think that they personally were saving souls, but they were fully aware that by offering their sufferings to the Lord without complaining, but taking up their cross and following Him, then those sufferings were powerful, made powerful by the Lord, in, uh, taking those sacrifices for the conversion of sinners.

And so, we have, uh, this, uh, this, uh, situation where Louisa is feeling a concern, even a fear, a worry. The Lord tells her not to worry. He tells us regularly in the volumes not to worry, not to be unsettled, not, what, not to want to be unsettled as well. And, uh, but she's at this point worried about what may happen with Curado because without her suffering, she, she knows that the chastisements are going to continue and even increase. So, with that, uh, focus, we would do well to ask the Lord for the grace of more victim souls in the world, and all around the world, and the graces for these victim souls to understand the great gift and to have the courage and the strength to make themselves available as victims.

Here we have Louisa, many times, and certainly in this passage, uh, concerned because she's not suffering enough, because she's been, uh, made aware over and over again that through her sacrificial offering in the Divine Will, that it mitigates a lot of human suffering and brings graces of conversion. So when she's not suffering, it worries her that there's going to be more suffering on the part of humanity, more people lost. He says, and Jesus says at the end of the second paragraph, "In seeing you suffer, I suffer more." So she's suffering for the lack of having physical pain, and here He's saying, "When you suffer, I suffer more." We, it's hard for us to understand that infinite love that He has that causes Him to suffer more than than we, when, uh, we're being faithful and and offering ourselves to Him.

Um, then on the last paragraph on page 113, "If you afflict yourself and worry in your suffering," Jesus is saying this, "I fidget and become delirious." And then He's forced to come because He doesn't want her, number one, putting herself in the same position that she was in, uh, two or three passages ago when He, when He came with a stern look. He doesn't want her to slip to that, uh, uh, attitude. And and so He says, "I look at things in the will, so you are as you used to be because your will has not changed." So even when her suffering is, uh, by her own explanation, suspended, the availability of her will is what He's looking at. So, a, a willingness to embrace whatever the Lord has for us, positive or negative, painful or pleasant. If, if our will is totally surrendered to Him, He, He gives us the credit, so to speak. He, he attributes that as as, uh, at the same level as when a soul is suffering and offering their sufferings to the Lord.

"If you do not have sufferings, you, you are not the one who receives harm. Rather, it is the creature that, creatures that do not receive the effects of your pains that are going to receive the harm." And so we need to be praying that, uh, there are more victim souls in the world that have the recognition of the gift and the total surrender, so that they can be instrumental, even as, as the Lord is describing as accomplished through Louisa. And then He asks, "Why do you fear? Have you forgotten how much I have loved you?" That question, He, we could say He asks all of us, you know, in the very much emphasized in the Diary of St. Faustina, that He says more many times that if we do not trust Him, it's one of the things that hurts Him the most. And so He's saying, "Have you forgotten how much I love you?" And He wants us to focus on that.

And how do we, we, uh, remember and, uh, increase in our, uh, recognition of how much He loves us? Praying the Hours of the Passion. If we pray the Hours of the Passion, focusing on the horrific suffering that He endured out of love, the, the things that we have done that caused Him so much suffering, the way that the Blessed Mother and Louisa tried to ease His pain and accompany Him. If we do that regularly, we will grow in our, in our understanding of how much we are loved, and it can keep us balanced in the most difficult situations.

Okay, we go to one more passage.

January 30th, 1916. When the soul lives completely in the Divine Will, everything she does is reflected in Jesus, and everything Jesus does is reflected in her. I was fusing all of myself in my always lovable Jesus, and while I was doing this, on coming, Jesus fused all of Himself in me and told me, "My daughter, when the soul lives completely in My Will, if she thinks, her thoughts are reflected in My mind in Heaven. If she desires, if she speaks, if she loves, everything is reflected in Me, and everything I do is reflected in her. It happens as when the sun is reflected in in the glass. One can see another sun in it, completely similar to the sun in the heavens, with this difference: the sun in the heavens is fixed and always remains in its place, while the sun in the glass is passing. Now, My Will crystallizes the soul, and everything she does is reflected in Me, and I, wounded and enraptured by these reflections, send her all My life, light, so as to form another sun in her. So it seems that there is one sun in Heaven and another on Earth. What enchantment and what harmonies between them! How many goods are poured out for the good of all. But if the soul is not fixed in My Will, it can happen to her as to the sun which is formed in the glass, which is a passing sun. After a while, the glass remains in the dark, and the sun in Heaven remains alone. If the Divine Will reigns constantly, and one who is the recipient of the gift of the Divine Will, the glass is not left in the dark."

And so the constant invitation fills the soul with this divine light, which He refers to as like seeing the sun on Earth. And what the Earth needs right now is for our Lord to see suns positioned all over the planet. That army that I mentioned that He's wanting to form for these final days, however long they may last. Uh, in, uh, page 114, at the beginning, "When the soul lives completely in My Will." So, uh, He's, He's wanting us to grow in the desire to be recipients of the gift of the Divine Will. Uh, and how do we get there? Well, it's by gift, for sure, but He wants to see the, the esteem placed on the gift, the desire for the gift. And the best way that it's manifested is by learning these principles and trying to lift them. And most importantly, to be inviting the Divine Will into everything that we say and do. And the more that we do that, the more that there are, uh, less voids of time in the course of the day when the Divine Will is not given full reign. And, um, when the Lord sees that that's the constant desire of a soul and is rightly disposed, then He chooses to grant the gift of living in the Divine Will. And then that, so that sun, doesn't get eclipsed. It doesn't, uh, it doesn't become a dark glass at different times in the course of our day or night. And, um, the world is desperately in need of it. And this is exactly what the Lord wants, another sun or sons on Earth.

Okay, go ahead. We'll take one more before we close the meeting.

February 5th, 1916. Scourges to the world and great trials for the few good. Only through faithfulness will they not stagger and be saved. I continue my days being afflicted, especially because of the almost continuous threats of Jesus that the scourges will spread more. Last night, then, I remained terrorized. I found myself outside of myself, and I found my afflicted Jesus. I felt reborn to new life in finding Him, but no, as I was about to console Him, some people snatched Him from me and reduced Him to pieces. What heartbreak! What fright! I threw myself on the ground close to to one of those pieces, and a voice from Heaven resounded in that place: "Firmness, courage to the few good. May they not move in anything. May they not neglect anything. They will be exposed to great trials, both from God and from men. Only through faithfulness will they not stagger and be saved. The Earth will be covered with scourges never before seen. Creatures will try to destroy the Creator, to have a god of their own, and to satisfy their whims at the cost of any slaughter, and with all this, not attaining their purposes, they will arrive at the most awful brutalities. Everything will be terror and fright." After this, I found myself inside myself. I was shaking. The thought of how they had reduced my my beloved Jesus gave me death. I wanted to see Him at any cost, even for one instant, to see what had happened to Him. And Jesus, always good, came, and I calmed down. May He be always blessed.

So the Lord is giving us, uh, instructions on how to weather the storm. And so from the, in the first paragraph, I bracketed from, actually, I underlined it all where it starts at the, in the, uh, right side, about a middle of the way down, "Firmness, courage to the few good." So He's telling us what's necessary to, uh, endure the storm, uh, to be faithful, uh, in the trials and hardships that are going to come. We're already seeing some, some, and it's going to increase. And the Lord doesn't want us wasting time worrying. What He wants us to do is be inviting the Divine Will into all that we're doing and, and, uh, applying what we're learning so that we, by His working within us, are part of the solution. You know, we just had the leaven in the dough reading, and so He wants us to be definitely the yeast in the dough. And we can't be if we're self-centered, self-interested, trying to control our situation. Uh, we need to do our planning and do the best that, that we can for our duties and those that we're responsible to care for and to assist in any way in the, in our state in life. But He's calling for a firmness and a courage in the good that we would not move in anything, may not neglect anything, that we're going to be exposed to great trials. He's telling us this, uh, and, um, He wants us not to be surprised as it continues to unfold. If we get embittered and if we want to know all the sort of details, as I mentioned earlier, we're wasting our time. And, uh, we will see when we see the Lord face to face what could have been, uh, if we're applying these principles, uh, as well as we're able to understand them and inviting the Divine Will into all that we say and do. We will then be able to see the good that was accomplished, even if we don't see immediate results at this time.

Uh, and, uh, at this point in our liturgical calendar, especially today, we can ask for the intercession of, uh, Saints Simon and Jude, uh, Apostles for the Church, and, uh, gave their lives for the sake of the Church. Uh, we can ask them to intercede for us that we can give our lives, whether it's a white martyrdom, which is the longsuffering, self-sacrificial life that all Catholics are called to, or a bloody, uh, martyrdom, uh, if we are going to be likened to Christ, if He's going to look at us on Earth and see other Christs, uh, there has to be the likeness in the journey, the taking up the cross and following Him, no matter what it costs us personally. We ask the Saints of this day and all the Saints we will be celebrating on November 1st to intercede for us that the Will of God may reign in us, that we could be part of the solution in these difficult times. Thank you, Molly, for being our reader, and thank you to those that helped us with the Rosary as well. I'm going to open our closing prayers, and we're going to pray, uh, also the, oh, first, the Divine Bath. Mindful of the, uh, souls in Purgatory. The Church is praying for the, for those who have gone on before us every day, but this is a special time of the year when great graces are being granted for the release of souls from Purgatory. And a wonderful way to spend part of, uh, All Souls Day is to be praying some of the Hours of the Passion, because the Lord, in His own explanation of the benefits of the Hours of the Passion, is that souls will take flight to Heaven through the very praying of the Hours of Passion when you're inviting the Divine Will to pray in your praying. So we ask the Divine Will to be the life of our prayer at this moment as we pray.

I immerse myself in the Divine Valuation and take its power, the immensity of its love, the immense value of the Pains of the Son of God, and of all the Divine qualities. Then I come to the souls in Purgatory and pour all of the Divine qualities upon them. And as I pour these infinite goods, the poor souls receive the bath of the love that the Divine power contains, the bath of the beauty, the bath of the blood of Jesus, and of all the Divine qualities, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

And because there's going to be so much, uh, insanity, as souls that don't understand the, the true meaning of Halloween, for, for some souls, almost like a feast for, for the evil forces. And so we pray, especially at this time, and, uh, on Halloween, as you're, uh, hallowing the, uh, eve of Saints, All Saints Day, it would be appropriate to pray this Deliverance Prayer a few times, inviting the Divine Will to pray, and you're praying on behalf of all souls, and especially those that, who are engaged in any kind of semblance of evil on Halloween.

Oh Lord, You are all powerful. You are God. You are our Father. We beg You, through the intercession and help of the Angels, Archangels Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel, for the deliverance of our brothers and sisters who are enslaved by the evil one. All Saints of Heaven, come to our aid. From anxiety, sadness, and obsessions, we beg You, free us, O Lord. From hatred, envy, fornication, we beg You, free us, O Lord. From thoughts of jealousy, rage, and death, we beg You, free us, O Lord. From every thought of suicide and abortion, we beg You, free us, O Lord. From every form of sinful sexuality, we beg You, free us, O Lord. From every division in our family and every harmful friendship, we beg You, free us, O Lord. From every sort of spell, mop off, witchcraft, and every form of the occult, we beg You, free us, O Lord. You said, Lord Jesus, "I leave you peace, My peace I give you." Grant that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, we may be liberated from every evil spell and enjoy Your peace always, in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Come, Divine Will, reign on us. Reign on Earth. Come, Divine Will, to reign in us. Amen.

The Lord be with [Music] you. May the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
