NEW Canva + ChatGPT AI Can Start a FACELESS YOUTUBE CHANNEL (Tutorial)

Success With Sam20:13

Transcription

So, did you know that there's a way that you can use both ChatGPT as well as Canva to help you get a faceless channel up and running? A channel that you don't need to use your face and you don't need to use your own voice. This is something that I've not really seen anyone else on YouTube talking about. But in today's video, I'm going to break down everything that you need to know.

I do need to say that nothing's going to be easy. Nothing's going to happen overnight. And the purpose of this video is just to give you the education that you need to know so that you can put all of the pieces together because I'm only going to be showing you the parts that you need to know if you're someone that wants to make your first official faceless video. But with that out of the way, let's jump straight into one of the first things that you're going to need to do with ChatGPT, which is to give it a simple prompt. And the purpose of this prompt is if you're someone that doesn't even know what type of channel you want to start.

So, as you can see right here, all I've done is ask ChatGPT to give me 10 faceless niches on YouTube that do really well with one single main image on the screen and caption text on the right. And you're probably thinking, Sam, what exactly does this mean? Why have you asked ChatGPT this question? But stick around because everything is going to make sense. So, let's just click on enter and see exactly what it's going to come back with.

Okay, there we go. So, as you can see, it's now coming back with all of these different ideas. And the reason why I've specifically given it this prompt is because I would say that this is one of the most simple faceless channels to start on YouTube right now because basically it only involves one main image on screen with caption text and it's going to be an informative video that people are going to consume because they're looking to be educated. They're looking to get the answer to a particular topic. But let me quickly show you exactly what these type of videos look like.

So, I'm going to go with the first one in the list, which is Japanese wisdom. And the reason why I'm going with this one is because if we just take a look on Google Trends, we can see worldwide ever since 2004, more and more people have gone onto Google to search for this particular search term. And when someone searches for something on Google, it's going to lead that person back to YouTube in one way or another because Google owns YouTube. Second to that, there's going to be this tab that says videos. So, if we just click into it, as you can see, the majority of these videos that are on Google on the video tab are all YouTube videos. Sometimes you may see TikTok, you might see Instagram, but in this case, it's primarily YouTube videos and some of them being completely faceless channels.

But there's this channel that I just came across and they're doing something very similar to what I believe any of you that's watching can do with the help of ChatGPT and Canva. So, what I'm going to do is just click into videos and I'm going to go to their most popular videos. Okay. So, as we can see, they're doing quite decent for a channel that is pretty small. So, they've got over 12,000 subscribers. And we can see one of their most popular videos has been able to reach over 164,000 views in just 10 months. The one thing that I have noticed with this channel is that is all about Japanese wisdom. And by the way, guys, this is a niche that I don't really care for whatsoever. I'm only using it as an example. And it is very important that when you're starting a channel, you pick a niche that you actually care about.

So, one thing that I want to point out about this channel, if I just go to the latest tab, we can see that they're doing pretty decent in terms of the views that they're getting for their channel size. But one thing that I have noticed is that they're not consistent with publishing videos. This is one thing that you can look out for when you're doing your research as to what type of channel you want to start. You want to see if there's a channel that's getting thousands of views per every single upload. Maybe they're not consistent and that's something that you're going to be able to fill the gap with. But as we move forward in this video, I'm going to be using this niche Japanese wisdom as an example just to show you exactly how you can build a faceless video.

So, one of the next things that you're going to need to do if you're following along with what I'm doing right now is to use ChatGPT to help you build out a custom plan. So, the way that this can be done is by using a tool called Digital Maker AI. What this can do, for those of you that have never heard of it, is that it's going to help you build out a custom prompt for the type of channel that you want to build. It's going to give you that prompt that's going to be unique to you that you can copy and paste directly into your ChatGPT for it to come back with a step-by-step blueprint that you're going to be able to easily follow.

So, I'm going to leave Digital Maker AI link down below. It's going to be the top link in the description. All you need to do is click that link, then click on get started for free, and then you can sign up using either your Gmail or a regular email address. But once you've logged in, it's going to show you something similar to this. Now, once you're at this point, what you need to do is just click directly into ChatGPT, and it's going to give you these two different options. It's going to ask you, what would you like to build with ChatGPT? So, you can either build a digital product or what you can do is build out that custom blueprint. So, I'm just going to select this. Then what I'm going to do is tell it that I want to focus on an AI faceless YouTube channel. So let's go with that and then click on next.

It's then going to take you through a couple different questions. I'm just going to quickly go through it. What niche do I have knowledge in? So in this case, I'm just going to put Japanese wisdom. Just like that. Click on next. Over here, you could just tell it that the channel is going to be all about Japanese wisdom. Or you can be a lot more specific. Do I already have a name for this channel? I'm going to say no because I don't and I want it to give me some ideas. What visual style do I want for the different scenes? I'm going to say I want it to be more so ancient, you know, more so ancient style, Japanese type content. So, let's go with this. Then click on next. How do I plan to monetize this channel? We're going to go with YouTube AdSense for now, but ideally, you want to get to the point where you're utilizing all of these different methods. Let's go with that. Click on next. And how often do I plan to upload videos to this channel? I'm going to say three to five times per week. Eventually, you want to get to the point where you're uploading daily, but let's go with this one for now. And then I'm going to click on generate prompt.

Okay, great. So, what Digital Maker AI is going to do for those of you that are new to this is that it's going to come back with a full prompt that you're just going to click on copy. You're going to make your way back over to ChatGPT. And then what you can do is open up a brand new chat. You can just paste everything in there just like this. So, it's going to summarize all of the text. Don't worry, this is exactly how it's going to look. And what ChatGPT is going to start doing is that it's going to start building this entire interactive blueprint out. So, it's going to take maybe a couple minutes for it to be done, but as soon as it's done, I'm going to be back ASAP and I'm going to show you the next steps.

Okay, guys, I'm back. And as we can see, this is the next thing that you should see if you are following what I'm doing. So, it took about 2 minutes and 2 seconds for it to complete. And you're going to see this preview of it. But for you to open it up, you just need to click on full screen. And this is going to be really helpful for those of you that have never started a YouTube channel before because as we can see, we've got the main dashboard over here. It's going to come back with this live AdSense calculator. It's going to let you know roughly how much you could potentially get on a monthly basis from AdSense depending on how many views you get, your CPM, as well as the videos that you're uploading. It's also going to come back with this channel overview where it's going to give you some name ideas, how to position the channel, the demographic of your viewers, and a lot of things that's going to help the process of setting up the channel as well. Things that you can just copy and paste directly into the back end of your account. If you're someone that doesn't have a channel, you don't have an account. It's going to also let you know step by step exactly how you can get one. So, this is basically like having an assistant looking over your shoulder and just guiding you through every single step of the way.

But I'd say one of the best parts about this whole blueprint is the scene builder. So this is going to be really helpful because what you can do is select the type of video that you want to make. It's going to give you some video ideas and you can click into it. And then what it's going to do is that it's going to give you prompts that you can now copy and paste directly into ChatGPT. So let's go with this one. I'm just going to skip down to generating the prompt. So, ChatGPT can actually generate a full prompt, which is going to be everything that's going to be said word for word in the video that you're about to make. ChatGPT is decent at generating scripts. I would say Claude is probably going to be better, but if you don't have a Claude account, then you can definitely start off with ChatGPT.

So, let's say if I wanted to make this video, all I need to do is just click on copy prompt, open up a brand new session, paste the prompt in there, just like this, and then click on send prompt. and instantly it should come back with the hook, the intro, the main part of the video, just the entire script, everything that's going to be said word for word. So, I'm going to work on mainly the hook for now, just so that you guys get the point as to how you can combine the features of Canva with ChatGPT to help you build out video. So, I'm going to come back to this in a moment.

Now that I've got the hook as well as the intro and just the entire video, what we're going to do now is use ChatGPT to make the base image that's going to make up the entirety of the video. Because if you didn't know, ChatGPT just had a recent update with their image maker. It's able to come back with a high-quality image that you can now use for YouTube automation or starting your faceless channel. Again guys, this is a very simplistic way of building your very first channel, but just to kind of give you insight, I don't think I've already shown you this in this video.

As we can see, this is exactly what I'm talking about. So, this is a 38-minute video, and you can see that the main image doesn't change at all. If I fast forward all the way to 17 minutes, let's go to 23 minutes. It's the same image that's there. However, on the right side, there's going to be text that's going to basically narrate exactly what the AI voice is saying. So, this is one of the many ways, one of the many formats that you can use when starting a channel, just having the main image on the left with enough space on the right for the captions. And bear in mind that this is the most popular video on this faceless channel right now. So, I'm going to show you exactly how you can do this.

But firstly, what you need to do if you want to do something similar to a channel that you found is to take a screenshot of exactly what they have. So, I'm just going to do that with this. And then I'm just going to drag and drop it in there like that. And then what I'm going to do is give it a prompt like this. I'm just going to say, "Replicate this image that will be used for a faceless video. Ensure that the main subject on the left and there is right side for blank text. I didn't say that right, but you guys can see it enough for the caption. Use a similar subject on the left, but not the exact same. Return back a high-quality image in the format for a YouTube video. 16:19." Sorry, that's a mistake. It should be 16:9. Let's go with that. So, this is an example as to what you'll enter directly into ChatGPT. So, I'm just going to click on send prompt.

And this is basically what it's going to come back with. So, as we can see, it's slightly different from the channel that we've been able to find where their videos gone basically viral. And I would say that, you know, it's decent, high-quality, and we can use it straight away. If you want to get a different version of it, you could just enter your revisions down here. Describe whatever edits you want, but I would say that this is pretty decent. So, what I'm going to do is just click on download.

And now that I've got the image, I've got the script, the next thing for me to turn this into an actual video is to make my way over to Canva. So, if you got a Canva account, this is perfect. You don't need to upgrade or anything like that. Of course, you are going to need to have the pay plan for you to have no restrictions whatsoever, but they've made it super flexible where you're able to generate whatever type of video you want, and you're able to use all of the different elements, all of the different assets for you to make the video look more engaging.

So, as you can see from here, what you're going to need to do is just click on YouTube video. And what you should see is a regular editing timeline like the one that I have on my screen right now. It's going to be here where you're going to do the majority of the work to turn the image into a video that people are happy to watch. So, first thing that I'm going to do is just drag and drop the image that I just downloaded from ChatGPT. So, I'm just going to drag and drop it in there. Just like that. So, that's perfect.

The next thing that I now need to do is get the script that I'm going to use. And remember, I'm only working on the hook because if I was to work on the entire video, we're going to be here for the next 20 minutes or so. So, I'm just going to copy the hook. Then I'm going to go to the left-hand side and just click on AI voice. Now I do want to let you know that there is going to be certain limitations when trying to use Canva to help you build up your channel. One of the first limitations that you're going to see is the restrictions or the lack of variety with the different AI voices that's available. The good thing is that they do have multiple different languages that you can choose from as you can see on the screen. But if you're looking to use English, whether the UK or the United States, you've only got around eight different options. My recommendation is to use an AI voice tool like 11 Labs. This is personally what I use with the different channels that I'm running, the different projects that I'm running right now because you got so much flexibility and you can also clone your own voice as well if you wanted to.

So, I'm going to enter the script that I got for the hook. I'm going to select this voice and I'm just going to click on generate AI voice. Okay, great. So, I'm just going to expand the image out like that. The next thing that I'm going to do is add the caption on the right-hand side. So, to do that, I'm just going to click on caption. It should be over here. Okay, perfect. And the text that I'm going to go with is this one. And I'm just [clears throat] going to change these colors to black and white. And I'm going to click on generate captions.

Okay, great. So, the video is coming along nicely. I'm just going to expand that out just like that. And finally, what I'm going to do just to make the video pop a little bit and not be too static is that I'm going to add an overlay that's going to keep things slightly more engaging. So to do that, I'm just going to click on elements and I'm just going to type in star and get this star element. I'm going to drag it in there just like this. I'm going to make sure that it's full screen. Then what I'm going to do is remove the background. And then I'm also going to make it slightly transparent as well. And yeah, guys, more or less, this is basically what you need to do if you're looking to use Canva to help you generate a faceless video. Of course, you need to do it for the entire video. I've just done it for the hook just so that you guys understand exactly what you need to do.

So, what I'm going to do now is just play maybe a snippet of it, maybe 10 seconds, 20 seconds, maybe all of it, just so that you guys get the point as to what type of video you can make with Canva. "What if the reason you feel lazy is not because you are weak? What if you are simply trying to change your life in a way your mind was never built to follow? There is a Japanese rule that says you do not need to become a new person overnight. You only need to improve by one small step, one quiet step every day. And if you understand this rule today, it can change the way you live before tomorrow morning."

So guys, there we go. Just like that, as you can see, I've now got the initial part of the video. I would say it's looking pretty decent. And this is what so many different channels out there are doing right now. and they're able to monetize mainly because they're consistent when uploading videos. They're always trying to improve the quality of their videos. This is a great place to start. And this is definitely a format that's doing well on YouTube right now. I'm going to be honest and say that this isn't going to be easy. It's not some copy and paste job where you can just go onto Canva, spend 2 minutes making a video, and that's it. You're still going to have to put the work in to copy and paste the script from ChatGPT into Canva. and you're going to have to do it in sections because Canva doesn't take the entire script.

There is an alternative way that you can make videos like this. Well, it's going to be similar. It's going to have multiple different images, not just one static image. And it's going to come down to going back onto Digital Maker AI because on the left-hand side over here, you're going to see video maker. It's got a new feature that's been added. As you can see, the long-form faceless video where you can generate a video up to 10 minutes. The good thing about this is that it's going to produce a ready-to-upload video complete with the AI voiceover already attached. It's going to have multiple different image scenes and the script is going to be written directly from Claude as well so that you know that you're getting the highest quality. So, it's still in beta mode. You know, things are still being added to it. You're going to be able to generate longer videos and do so much more with it.

But, if you did want to generate a video, all you need to do is click on this and then it's going to ask you, what is your video about? So, what I'm going to do is just go back over to ChatGPT, and I'm going to get the title of the video, which is this one right here, as an example. And I'm just going to paste it in there like this. Click on next. It's going to ask me what style of video do I want. So, I'm going to say for this one, I want it to be animated and cartoon style. So, we're going to go with this just to test it out. As I mentioned before, you can generate a video up to 10 minutes. This is going to be increased in the next couple weeks, but for now, I'm just going to generate a video that is 5 minutes because if I do the 10-minute one, we're going to be here slightly longer. So, let's go with 5 minutes for now. Click on next.

So, it's going to be here where you can pick the AI voiceover. More voices are going to be added to this as well, so don't worry. But I'm going to go with Onyx for now, which is a male voice. I believe that it's going to be suited for this type of video. Let's click on next. And finally, we now need to select the pacing of the video. Do we want it to be calm? Do we want it to sound standard? Or do we want it to be energetic? I would say a video about Japanese wisdom. I'm going to go with standard for now. And then click on generate video.

And there we go. Just like that. As you guys can see, it's now come back with the fully edited video that I'm going to be able to download straight away. So, what I'm going to do is just play a quick snippet of the video just so that you guys understand exactly what type of video you can make if you also wanted to use Digital Maker AI. So, I'm just going to start from a random point. Let's start from this point right here. "The fifth discipline is physical training. The mind responds powerfully to physical challenge. When you train your body through running, lifting weights, or martial arts, you're simultaneously training your mind. Each rep you complete, each mile you run, each moment you push through fatigue sends a message to your brain that you're capable of more than you thought. Physical strength and mental toughness grow together. The sixth discipline is embracing failure. Musashi lost battles. He experienced defeats and setbacks. What made him great wasn't that he never failed, but that he learned from every failure."

So guys, I'm sure that you get the point. Remember, I did select animated. If I wanted it to be realistic, I could also make that type of video and you can make it too. There's going to be multiple different options. So, this is definitely a good solution for anyone out there that wants to speed up the process of making a faceless video. But nevertheless, you now have multiple different options. If you want to use ChatGPT, you can definitely do that. If you also wanted to use Digital Maker AI, that's also an option as well.

But yeah, guys, for the most part, I would say that those are some of the key things that you need to know if you're someone that is looking to start their very first channel. Of course, there's so much more that goes into it. And I just wanted to give you guys, you know, one of the ways that you can get started. I've got many more videos coming out over the next couple days, over the next few weeks when it comes to helping you build up your channel. Even if you want to show your face, I've got some content coming out about that as well. So, be sure to like this video so I know what type of content you guys want to watch.
