Hi everyone. Whoa, right? Oh my God, Gino. I just want to clock Matt right in the face, you know, and knock him over. I just like want to punch the guy. Matt has to be K. Oh my God, this episode was crazy. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. What the hell? First of all, I did not expect a two-hour episode, but I was not disappointed.
Just a quick disclaimer: I am visiting my parents, so I'm not at my usual setup. I'm here in Connecticut again. I know some people are like, "Wow, you travel back to your parents so often." Yes, I do. Um, partially—well, it's a long story. I'll get into it after the recap this time. My dog needed surgery, so that's why I'm here. Anyway, we have a lot to talk about, so let's get into the recap.
So, at the end of the last episode, we left off where Jasmine was about to call Matt with Gino in the room. They weren't going to look at each other, but they were going to introduce each other, say hi, and get "comfortable." As Jasmine is about to call Matt, she takes a deep breath. She's like, "Oh my God, we can do this. We can do this," and she cries. She gets all teary-eyed, and I'm like, "Girl, why are you the one crying? If anything, Gino should be the one crying."
And Matt answers, and it's so awkward. It is so weird. Gino doesn't say anything for a really long time. I think it's all hitting him at once that this is actually happening. So he's like, "Hey man, um, so how'd you and Jasmine meet?" "Oh, at the gym." Okay. "So have you and JZ been hooked up?" "Oh, okay." "Um, have you been in any relationships before?" "Oh, are you okay with wearing protection because it's only going to have to be safe schmack?" "You're okay with that? So go ahead, you know."
"Hi man. Hey Gino, how are you?" "So you two have never been intimate with each other yet?" "No, she's married. I don't—I try not to, you know, do anything like that to sabotage people's marriages, cuz I think it's wrong." "So, so are—are you single now?" "Yeah, I am." "Yes, you've had quite a few." "Yeah."
Honestly, I felt like the whole time Matt was kind of laughing at him. He was just like, "Why is he so weird? Why is he so awkward? Why is he asking the most ridiculous questions?" Like, okay, yeah, I'll—I'll do whatever you want. Yeah, sure, safe sex during the open relationship. Are you willing to agree to that on your end? Yeah, sure, that's fine. I mean, of course.
And then, to make matters worse, Matt tells Gino how he should treat her. He's like, "You know, she needs to be treated with care and gentleness. I know Jasmine can be a brat. Yeah, I've seen that bratty side of her, but she's Jasmine, you know. You have to love her and love and respect her." And G's like, "Um, okay. Well, I think you need to leave that up to me. That's between me and Jasmine. When I don't see that she is taken care of the way she should be…"
It's kind of heartbreaking because Jasmine is—she can be a little bit of a brat, but she has a good heart. Um, you know, I appreciate that. Uh, I'd rather just leave that between her and I. And right before the phone call ended, Matt tells Jasmine, "So I'll see you when you're back in Michigan." And she goes, "Yeah, to work out." And Gino goes, "Oh, no, no, no. You're not going to work out together anymore. No more friendship." And Jasmine goes, "Oh, right. Um, Matt, I'll—I'll see you just for schmeck then, you know. Nice meeting you." "Jasmine, I'll see you when you get back to Michigan to work out." "No, not work out. I told you I don't want a friendship." "Okay, okay. D have sex. Okie dokie." What the freak is going on? That is so weird. It's so weird. It is so weird.
And then, right before they hang up, Matt tells Jasmine, "Oh, Jasmine, don't forget to drink your water, eat your food, and your vitamins. Oh, oh, and uh, you know that rash you have on your upper inner thigh, uh, get that taken care of. Okay, don't forget. Make sure you drink your water and eat your food." "I'm trying, I promise." Gino looks so uncomfortable the whole entire time. I mean, they are clearly already bonded. They've been "friends" for months and months and months. The whole time Gino was refusing to address any of the problems that she pointed out, she was getting close to him. And I know Gino feels like he was pushed into a corner, but he kind of pushed himself into that corner, so it's really funny to watch this all play out.
Natalie is in her room alone. She looks like a hurricane hitter, like she survived a hurricane and she just got out. She looks like a mess. She talks about how she feels used and abused by Josh, but honestly, I feel like it was mutually beneficial. He was paying her rent; he hooked her up with a car; he got her multiple job interviews; he probably took her to some really cool parties and bought her some really nice fancy dinners. I mean, come on, I'd be happy with that.
Then we see Josh packing up. He's getting ready to leave the resort. He's like, "Yeah, I'm leaving cuz I don't want to drag this out any further." Really? You decided that now, the night before the end of the retreat? You could have decided sooner. "Natalie is not like anybody I've ever dated before. She's fun, and she's very mysterious. She's cute, she's smart, she's funny, and she's one of a kind." Oh God, I hope Natalie doesn't watch this and think me and D have another chance. Like, please Natalie, please move on.
Josh finally leaves the resort, and then the rest of the cast go to the bar one last time before the recommitment ceremony and they want to whoop it up. Everybody's there except for Gino and Jasmine, and they talk about them. Rob is on a mission to let everyone know that Jasmine is a dirty little slut whore, and that she's trying to make everybody believe that the open marriage is going to benefit Gino, and that she cannot and should not get away with this. It's such a heinous crime. I don't buy it for one second that Jasmine actually wants an open marriage. And Jasmine shows up here trying to reframe it like it's going to help Gino. I just want to call it out and call it like I see it. Jasmine should not get to get away with that.
Listen, I'm going to be honest: after this episode, I'm side-eyeing Jasmine. I am big time side-eyeing her. But I cannot stand how the men are basically on a witch hunt and blaming Jasmine for everything and absolving Gino of every shitty thing that he's done to her. Like, I just don't like that.
Jasmine and Gino finally join the group, and then they update them about what happened with Matt and that Gino talked to Matt on the phone and how Gino's worried about Matt and Jasmine because they already seem to have a close friendship going on already. So schmeck is just going to make things a little bit more complicated, and that's Goo's fear, which I absolutely agree with. Now Rob is like, "Y'all need to find another guy. It cannot be Matt," which I do agree with. I do not believe that you will not have feelings for him if you start a relationship with him. "She does love me, but you're not—you're not okay. Honestly, if this is supposed to be where no feelings are involved, there's no way that this can work with Matt because there are already feelings involved."
Now she may be in denial, and she may think it's just strictly a friendship, which I don't believe. I feel like she definitely has a crush on this guy for sure because I agree with Stacy when she was like, "I saw your face when we called him, and your face lit up. You were smiling, you were gushing, you were blushing. Like, I've never seen you like that before." And I—I do agree. I feel like Jasmine was very smitten when Matt picked up the phone. So yeah, if this is just going to be a strictly schmeck type of thing, it cannot be with Matt.
Julia asks Gino, "Aren't you scared that she's going to develop feelings for Matt?" And Jasmine's like, "Honestly, that could happen, and we're both scared of that. That is a possibility." And Gino says, "That's why we have a rule that as soon as somebody develops feelings, we're cutting off the open marriage." Okay, but by that point, it's going to be way too late. Florian's like, "Bro, just bang your wife, and then the problem will be over. Easy, boom, done. You don't have to think about this open marriage. You don't have to worry about Matt. Just bang her." And he's like, "Can't I have to have an emotional connection?" Oh my God. Rob, for once in his life, makes a good point. He tells Gino, "Seriously, there is no way that they're not going to develop feelings. They already have a friendship, and she's probably been running to him, venting to him about all your relationship problems, and he's been listening. He's given his shoulder to cry on, and then on top of that, they're going to bang. Why the hell would she choose you? There's no reason for her to stay with you." And Stacy chimes in. She's like, "You know what, I agree with Rob. This is a disaster waiting to happen. If she's falling for the other guy who's giving her what you want, why would she choose you? I would cut it off if I see this getting out of control. You will be the last one to realize that getting out of control. Find another guy because this guy—she's already known this guy; she's already talking to this guy; he knows too much about your relationship; and he's already telling her what's wrong with you." Honestly, can I say something? I kind of agree with you, Rob.
Jasmine tries to deny it. She's like, "No, we're just friends. Like, I don't like him like that." And Stacy says, "Jasmine, I saw the look on your face when he answered the phone. Whether you know it or not, your face lit up, and I've never seen you smile like that, and definitely not around Gino." So Rob, at this point, is hammering in to Gino that the open marriage cannot be with Matt. Okay, it has to be with another person. And the more everybody is agreeing with Rob and telling Gino this, that, and the other, the more Gino is realizing, "Oh my God, they're right." So then he's like, "Okay, okay, you know what? I guess you guys are right. Yeah, it—it makes perfect sense. Matt is out. No open relationship with Matt." And Jasmine starts to cry. Now this is when I was giving her the huge side-eye. I was like, "Why are you crying like that? You're both starting from the beginning. You're both starting from the beginning. Matt's out now. He's out. You have too much of a connection with Matt. He's out." And she's like, "You don't know what I've been through for the last nine months." And Rob goes, "If I can go nine months without schmecks, then so can you."
And Jasmine tells everybody that they suck, and she walks out crying and yelling. And she's like, "F*** everybody. I've been married to this guy almost a year, nine months. He hasn't touched me. He has rejected me. I've been faithful too. Time, nine months, n months. If I can hold on to nine months without needing somebody else, I think you could too." Now let me just say, cuz this is really important: even though I agree with Rob, I disagree wholeheartedly when Rob was like, "Oh, if I can go without schmeck for nine months, then so can you." No, no, no, no. That's not how it works. Just because you do something one way doesn't mean that everybody else should do the same exact thing that you do. Okay, that mindset is so dumb. Okay, please make a few extra of your brain cells work and think. Okay, I hate when people are like, "Oh, well, I went through the same exact thing as he did, and I didn't do what he did. I didn't say or react the way he did." Okay, good for you. Do you want a f***ing cookie? Life doesn't work that way. Just because you handle something or react in a specific way doesn't mean that if somebody else reacts or handles something differently means that they're wrong. No, are you f***ing dumb? Cannot stand that argument because it is so narrow and small-minded.
So, aside from that, I agree that Matt cannot be that person. They already have a friendship; they probably definitely have a crush on each other; there are feelings involved. Jasmine can deny it, but there is. And once they bang, it's game over. Also, why is Rob so mad? Why is he so intense? It's weird. Like, he's so triggered. He needs to talk to someone about this. Why is it angering him so much to that level? He's dead set on proving his point. Like, I don't know why he's so passionate about this. Calm the freak down. Okay, you can get your message across also without going nuts and without slut-shaming her.
So Jasmine is having a panic attack outside. She's sobbing; she's hyperventilating. She's like, "Nobody understands. Why is everybody on his side?" And of course, Florian comes to the rescue. He is honestly the hero of this entire season. We need more Florian. We need more Darcy and Stacy. We need Darcy, Stacy, Florian, and I'll take Georgie. Okay, I will be so upset if we do not see any more of them after the season. I need more. Anyway, back inside the bar, Brandon and Rob are telling Gino over and over again, "It cannot be Matt. It cannot be Matt. She's scheming; she's shady; she's a slut," blah, blah, blah. And then Florian joins in, and he tells Gino that he's embarrassing her. Like, "What is wrong with your brain? Gino, f*** your wife, Gino. Okay, problem will be over." "Gino, just f*** her." "No, I can't. I need to have an emotional connection," like I said. Okay, and she needs to be on good behavior for three months without starting a fight with me. But remember you guys—remember he told Brandon in private that even if she were perfect and even if she did everything that he wanted to, he still wouldn't bang her. Okay, let us not forget that. That is very important.
Florian thinks Gino's dumb. He's acting so immature. "Why'd you kick her out for Christmas?" And Gino goes, "You have the story right. You f***ing f***." And Florian sees red. I don't know why men get so triggered when they're called a f***. You can call them anything else in the world—the worst words, okay, the worst words—way worse than the word f***, but for some reason, f*** is always going to be the worst thing ever. Hm, I wonder why. "I didn't kick her out, man. You got the story wrong. F***ing f***." Florian gets so mad; he sees red after Gino calls him a f***, and then Gino gets mad. They get up from their seats, and they start walking towards each other, and Goo's trying to swing, okay, and security gets in. Gino's trying to break free from security, and I don't know if he's trying—like he looked like he was about to hit him right, or he wanted to hit him, but it's so funny cuz Gino is the least scary and threatening person that I've ever seen. He has not an ounce of intimidation. It was actually hilarious. Okay, I don't think—I don't think the security needed to hold him back, actually. Maybe they were holding him back for his safety. I'm not going to—wait, wait, wait, hold—wait. Gino's trying to push security out of the way; he's tumbling and fumbling and tripping over his feet. It was so funny. And Florian's like, "You look stupid, you idiot, you drunk loser." And G's like, "Hey, get out, get away from me. I want to hit for, and I'm not going to put up with your s***."
Sophie and Brandon try talking Gino down by talking s*** about Florian, and they're like, "Don't worry, like you're the man, okay." Florian can't understand because he's blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Sophie is drunk out of her mind. Okay, I don't even know if she remembers having that conversation. After everybody cools off, Gino and Florian make up. They shake hands; they even hug. And then everybody leaves the bar except for Gino. He stays in the bar and has another drink, and I'm just like, "Wait, did everybody leave him by himself? Did—did he want to stay? Like, that's so sad to leave him by himself." I guess he just wanted more time to think.
Jasmine is in the car alone, and she's crying about how crappy the night turned out for her, how it started off so good after Gino agreed to the open marriage with Matt, and it just turned into a f***ing show. And you want to know what my very first thought was? I was like, "I bet you she is going to go back into her room and call Matt the next morning."
Stacy is rewriting her vows, and she asks Florian if he's going to do the same, and he's like, "No, I have it in my heart." And she gets upset cuz she feels like he's not putting in the same effort, uh, but I think Stacy has to accept the fact that Florian is just not an emotional person. He will never be that person. It's like you're trying to push a circle into a square. If you really need someone to be openly emotional, then you need to find someone else who can do that for you.
Brandon and Julia have a picnic. Julia tells Brandon, "So remember how I'm going to go to the fertility doctor just for you? Uh, what about my parents coming to America? Are you going to accept that?" And he reveals that her parents don't even get along, and when they fight, Julia ends up being in the middle of it. It drives her crazy; it affects her mental health; and that dynamic is going to be living in their house for an unknown amount of time, and he's afraid that that's going to ruin their marriage. And wow, that definitely um, sucks. Okay, that's a very tough situation. I wouldn't want that either if I were Brandon, if I were in his shoes. But the thing is, I also understand Julia missing her parents and wanting some semblance of home, and like, I get it. I get that she wants them here, but there needs to be some kind of compromise. Like, maybe set a timeline. How long are they going to be here? But does that even work? I don't know. I don't know. It—it—I just think that when they're here, it cannot be an indefinite thing.
Julia is like, "So are you going to support my parents coming to America?" And he goes, "Well, if it's going to ruin our marriage or affect it, then it's going to be hard for me to support that." And then she tells him not to come to the recommitment ceremony if he's not going to support her decision.
Jasmine and Gino have a conversation about what happened the night before, and he tells her, "Jasmine, I love you, and I want to commit to you, and um, yes, I do agree that an open marriage is what's best for us right now, but it cannot be Matt since you guys already have too much of a close relationship. Like, you're going to grow feelings for another, and that's not—that's not what I want." And she goes, "Oh my God, I'm not in love with Matt. There's no feel—you have to trust me, baby. Okay, this is non-negotiable. It has to be Matt. If you want me to believe that you are being honest about accepting the idea of an open marriage, for me to recommit to you, it has to be Matt. This is not negotiable. Okay, I love you, but this is not negotiable. It has to be Matt." Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Jman, I was shook. I was like, "It's non-negotiable?" I mean, your partner has to be okay with the person that you're about to smack. What? This was where I side-eyed Jasmine again. I was like, "Girl, what?" It—it's weird that she's so dead set on Matt, but is it really weird given all the context? She definitely has feelings for Matt. I—okay, okay. Yes, I agree Jasmine likes Matt, but then when she gave her reasonings as to why it has to be Matt, like I understood. She said that she already built a rapport; she feels comfortable with him; and if she's going to have schmeck with someone, she wants that someone that she knows and she trusts and that she's comfortable with. And I get that. Like, even if I were in an open relationship, which I would never be because I am a jealous ass ho, I would never be—I would never be able to do that. But if I were, and I wanted to also partake in having schmeck with other men, I would have to feel comfortable with that man. But it just cannot be Matt. It cannot be Matt for her to be like, "It has to be Matt. That's non-negotiable." That's weird, and I feel like that's very rude and disrespectful to Gino. Not that I care about Gino's feelings, but ultimately, everybody has to agree with who that person is. If Gino's not okay with it being Matt, then it can't be Matt. "Because I never stop loving you. I give you time to think about it. I don't want you to make a decision at this moment. Just never put in doubt how much I love you, please, because that will kill me." Oh my God. I remember when Natalie and Mike decided to separate, Mike held off on the official divorce papers until, I think, her adjustment papers or her visa status was permanent and approved, something along those lines. And that's why they got a divorce much, much later after the separation. And I don't know if Gino's going to do that for Jasmine. Um, I think he hates her, and I think her getting pregnant with Matt's baby was the final f*** you. Like, it was the final one. I mean, wow, wow, wow. That is so f***ed up.
The recommitment ceremony is right around the corner, so the ladies get together, and I thought it was so sweet of Stacy to include Natalie because she didn't want Natalie to be all alone. And I've said this before, and I'll say it again: I just think Stacy is the best. She is so kind; she's so caring; she's so sweet; and I just love her. The men get to the ceremony first, and then in a single file, the women walk into the ceremony with their white dresses. Natalie struts down what she thinks is a runway. First of all, she looked great. I loved her fun, flirty little dress. She has amazing long legs, and I could just feel as she was walking down, Gino's eyes were probably glued to her. He even was like, "Wow, gorgeous," and I'm pretty sure he was talking about Natalie. Gorgeous. And now the ceremony officially begins. So we're going to start with Stacy and Florian, and Florian actually gave a very heartfelt speech. He talked about how he was never into therapy, but therapy ended up actually helping him a lot. Stacy is his ultimate priority in his life, and he's sorry for hurting her and everything that he did in the past. He even got emotional. I saw some tears, and overall, I think that came off very genuine, and I was kind of proud of him. So good job, Flo Flo. Stacy acts like she's going to say no, or at least that's how the editors make it seem, but we all knew that was never going to happen. Come on. So they both recommit to each other. Yay.
Next is Sophie and Rob. Sophie wrote a letter to her younger self and read that out loud to Rob. Now I was like, "Why are you writing a letter to yourself at a recommitment ceremony with Rob? That's so weird. Like, why are you not addressing Rob? Why are you addressing your younger…" And she's sobbing, basically saying that Rob isn't her dream man, but she loved him, and for a couple of years, she was happy. So she posted an Instagram video saying, "Here's some context as to why I chose to read a letter to my younger self at the recommitment ceremony. It was a part of my therapy session right before the ceremony, and honestly, that's what made me make my final decision." And that's what inspired her to read that letter out loud. Now I believe that she could have done this in a different way. She could have written a letter to Rob, addressing him, at least. Okay, he was your husband, the guy you married. Telling him, "My younger self would not be happy in the relationship that I am in today. I did love you. I think you're a great person. I think um, I want to continue a friendship. I was happy for a few years, but ultimately, you are not my dream man, and we are not right for each other." Like, she could have done that. Maybe she was too chicken, and she didn't want to face him and talk to him directly.
So after Sophie officially did not recommit, Rob looks devastated. He doesn't want to read his letter anymore since it won't even matter. They both acknowledge that neither of them are happy in the relationship, and they're not good for each other. And thank God, Hallelujah, praise Jesus Christ, Lord our Savior, we are done with Rob and Sophie. We are done. Thank you, thank you. Let's all have a party. Rob walks off. He can't believe what Sophie said about him not being her dream man, but like, hello, who the hell dreams of being with a person like this? You are the f***ing toxicity in this f***ing relationship. Because if I was an f***ing f***, I'd be whooping your ass right now, telling you you ain't going nowhere, my wife. But no, I'm letting you go. But I'm—I'm f***ing really letting you go. F***, is this even—I don't even know what the f*** is—what the hell? And of course, he becomes the victim, and he's in his bed, and he's like, "Why did Sophie do this to me? Why me? Why me? Why me? Why? She strung me along," blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Next is Brandon and Julia. Julia brings out her backpack and takes out the two rocks from one of the first therapy exercises that they did. Remember, they had to write down their problems on each rock, and one rock said "fertility"—that was Brandon's rock—and her rock said "her parents." And she mentions to Brandon, "Remember how I agreed to the fertility thing so we can get rid of this rock?" And she throws it—she chucks it—and it almost hits Gino. I was scared for a second. I was like, "Holy crap, that was insanely close to him!" And he was like, "Oh my God!"
You trying to kill me, Julia? [Music] You're trying to kill me! Oh my God! Can you imagine if that hit him in the face? Wow, that would have been so bad. I don't know what she was thinking, throwing that rock like that. She should have just bent down and tossed it to the side. Why did she throw it like that? That would have been a disaster. Oh my, I was actually afraid.
Then it's Brandon's turn. He takes out a piece of paper and Julia's touch—that he actually wrote something down and prepared a speech. And in his speech, he says that he's going to do his very best to get her parents to the United States, and he throws the other rock. That was so sweet, and um, they're just cute together when they're not fighting.
Next is Gino and Jasmine, but right before they go, Sophie walks off and she's crying. She's like, "Is not a good person for me." My God, can I get a blanket? I'm cold. I don't know if Rob would have recommitted. I would hope that he—he would have said no to make me feel better.
Okay, so then a producer is with Rob, and she gets him to read what he wrote. But then he doesn't want to read the first two pages because I'm pretty sure it was lovey-dovey, and he was like, "I'm just going to read the last page." And he chose to recommit. Wow. Why would he do that? Are you dumb? Are you dumb? Why would you choose to recommit? Y'all are miserable.
Last but not least, we have Gino and Jas—Jmin—Jasmine. Jasmine tells Gino that she loves him and she will love him forever and ever, and he gets very emotional. "I want us to fight less, and I want you to listen to me." And she goes, "I am," and he goes, "Yes, yes! And I want a bond, and I want to grow our love, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep you." So Gino, I just need to make this very clear: you agree to the open marriage with Matt? And he goes [Music] "Yes, as long as you stick to our boundaries and our rules. Like, if you develop any feelings, then we have to end it. Okay, but hopefully, in the long run, this will improve our bond and our love, and once our relationship is back to normal, you will cut things off with Matt, and he will be in our past." Yo, that is not going to work. Oh, Lord, that is not going to work. Yes, yes, I'm open to it, but we have to have in the rules that if you and Matt grow too much of a friendship or it's affecting our marriage, then I want to be able to—to avoid the contract. I cannot believe he said yes. I really thought he was going to say no. After Rob and Brandon and Stacy—every—like everyone telling him it can't be Matt, and even he admitted to himself—oh my God! God, yeah, I agree, it can't be Matt. It can be anybody else but Matt. And Gino is giving her the option to choose any other guy but Matt, and she says no, it has to be Matt, and he still said yes. Gino, what is wrong with you?
This made me realize that Gino might actually love Jasmine after all that, or he just wants to keep her under him—like she—he can't let her go out of his control, and if that means that it has to be Matt, then it's going to have to be Matt, so that he can still keep her. Does that make sense? Wow. But damn, Gino, have some self-respect, man. My god! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Gino finally felt threatened. He finally—he wasn't doing anything for the longest time when Jasmine was like, "We need to do this, we need to do that. I want love, I want affection, we need to go to therapy for a relationship," and he was just like brushing it off over and over and didn't take her seriously. And now she has developed a relationship with another guy that she wants to [ __ ] and he said yes. He said yes! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Now I want to know what ended up happening after the recommitment ceremony. Like, did they go home and she tried to make a schmeck's appointment with Matt, but then Gino probably was like, "Uh, I don't—I don't feel the same way anymore." This is my prediction. He probably didn't want her to do it, and then they got into another fight, and then maybe she just went out and did it anyway. She was like, "No, no, you promised me, okay, and so I'm going to do it." Or she made that schmeck's appointment with Matt, and they did it. And I don't know, like how did she get pregnant because didn't Matt agree and promise him to use protection? And the thing is, like, she's obviously—if she wanted to make something bad—must have happened before that, before she got pregnant because I'm assuming she wants to be on good terms with Gino. She still wants to stay married to him while still banging Matt and having that flirtatious—I don't know—other relationship with him. But she's obviously not going to get pregnant because in a previous season of Happily Ever After or 90 Day, she mentioned that she does not—one of the reasons why she doesn't want to get pregnant is because she is so scared of the health of the baby because she had a special needs baby, and she just feels so guilty about that, so she's scared to have another child. And then her second reason was Gino is not father material, which I absolutely agree with. But given that context, I would assume that she wouldn't have wanted another kid with anybody. But I want to know what led her to getting pregnant with Matt's baby. Was it accidental, which would be crazy to me, um, or was it intentional? And why? Why was it a big [ __ ] you to Gino? Because that's the one thing he wanted—a child of his own. Or was there another reason? Um, I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Let me know your thoughts, you guys. Child lazy. She needed knee surgery, so I dropped her off this morning, so I came to kind of take care of her and do all that. So, um, okay, that sigh came from a very stressful place because at first, when I found out that she needed knee surgery, I was like really sad about it because she's so little—she's 9 lb—and I don't know, it's always scary when your pet goes under anesthesia. You don't know if they're going to wake up and all that, so that was stressful. And then I got the estimate: $1,700 to $1,900—so $2,000—and I was like, "Holy crap! I don't have pet insurance," and I'm just like, wow, I just spent a little over $1,000 on her hernia removal that was like 3 months ago—about—I don't know exactly, but it was definitely earlier this year or maybe like end of last year. And then I was like, "Oh my God, $2,000 for her knees," but she—she's got to get them done because she's wobbling—her knees—her legs are wobbling; they're very weak. And so I was like, okay, so we scheduled it. I brought her in today, and then I find out that it's one knee at a time. They don't do both knees at the same time, which now thinking about it now, it does make sense, but it's one knee at a time. And then I was like, okay, so the recovery time is going to be even longer. Okay, fine. What am I going to do? And then I got in my car and I was like, "Holy crap, does that mean that estimate was per knee?" And you guys, yeah, it's per knee. So, woo! I'm getting stressed. It's $4,000! $4,000! So Mama's got to hustle—hustle! Like I might have to open up an OnlyFans—Potatoes—Petities—okay, Potato Petities. I don't know what I'm going to do, y'all. I just have to hustle. I just have to work hard. So that has been a little bit stressful. Now I'm thinking about getting pet insurance, uh, just for like future stuff. But other than that, I'm just patiently waiting for the call from the vet to let me know that she woke up from surgery and everything went well. So.
