So here we are in Adobe Photoshop and I have this Nickelodeon logo. Now I want each and every stuff on property on different different layers. So I'm going to select my rectangle selection tool and I'm going to select this N over here. Either hit Ctrl X to cut it out and I'll create a new layer and I'm going to press control shift V to paste in place and I'm going to hide this. Now same procedure I'm going to do for this eye. I'll hit Ctrl X, new layer, control shift V to paste in place and let's hide this. Now let's select this C, hit Ctrl X, create a new layer and press control shift V and to paste in place and hide this. Now I'm going to follow this procedure for all of them. So let's skip this portion.
Okay. So I did that procedure. Now as you guys can see each and everyone is properly on different different layers and I'm going to save this as a Photoshop document.
Now let's go to the Adobe After Effects and let's create a new composition. I'm going to call it as main logo animation. Width I'm going to choose 1920. Height I'm going to choose 180. Frame rate should be 30 second. And duration I'm going to choose around 2 second or let's say 1 minute long and background color is white color and simply hit okay. Then go to choose gradient guide option and simply hit on titles action like that over here.
Now I'm going to press control I to import my Photoshop file. I'll select my Photoshop file. Import as instead of footage I'm going to choose composition return varation sizes and simply hit import and hit okay. Then double click on this. So I'm going to select all of this layers and I'll hit Ctrl C to copy. I'll go to the main animation and I'll hit Ctrl +V.
Now as you guys can see the size of this animation is too much. So simply right click new and create one null object. I'm going to select all of them and I'll make it apparent with this null. I'll select this null. I'll press S and let's decrease the scale of this. Press P for position. And let's try to bring this position of this to somewhere around over here. Like that. Then I'm going to delete this null object.
Then we have this N over here. I'm going to hit Ctrl D and I'll change the color of this topmost layer to yellow. Okay. And I'm going to select all of this and let's hide this layers as well as lock this layer. Now let's select this N over here. Hit enter. And let's for it as N. I'm not going to name other layers just to this one and go to the align tab and we are going to choose align horizontally. Okay.
Now after that I'm going to select my ellipse tool. And this time I'm going to delete this fill. I don't need that. And I'll go to the stroke. I'll click on the stroke and with the help of this picker I'm going to pick up this color and hit okay. And stroke width I'm going to choose 100. And by holding shift I'll create one circle. Now select this and press Ctrl Alt O. Go to the align tab. Align it horizontally and then align it vertically. Go to the ellipse ellipse path and let's increase the scale of this totally like that. Then create one key frame. Then go somewhere around 120. And let's make this value 200 or somewhere around like that. Okay.
Now I'm going to select this and I'll hit not control but hit F9 to easiness goes key frame. So I'll get something like that. Now let's select this. Go to the graph editor. Select this graph and by holding shift move this handle over here and move this handle over here. Okay. Like that. Now let's select this and let's move this to somewhere around 1 second. So we'll get this animation a little bit faster.
Now let's select this end and bring this at the top and go to the effect and presets panel and search for fill effect and choose white color. Okay. So if you check it out this now we are going to get something like that.
Now let's select this and with Ctrl D to duplicate it. Hit E. go to around 1 second. And this time I'm going to delete those sizes. And stroke width I'm going to choose 2 pixels. And let's increase the scale of this. Okay. Then again select this. Select this shape layer and increase the scale of this totally like that. And let's make this stroke width around 1 pixels. Then again I'm going to select this. I'll hit Ctrl D. Press S this time. And let's decrease the scale. And this time I'm going to delete the stroke and go to the fill option and with the help of this picker I'm going to pick up this color. Otherwise you can select this other strokes and simply copy that color code and select this and in this one I'm going to attach fill. Press T for opacity and let's make this opacity 20. Okay. So we are going to get something like that.
So what I'm going to do when this things are going to come up over here I'm going to select all the other three layers which means this opacity less spare not spare but circle other than that with this circle and the circle I'm going to select all of this over here and with the help of open square bracket move them over here like that or let's see we need to select this one and let's bring them over here. Press S and create one key frame initially. Go few frame forward. Create another key frame. And in the start, let's make their values to zero. Then select those key frame. Hit F9. Go to the graph. Select this graph. And by holding shift move this handle over here. Select this and then this handle over here. So if you check it out, this we'll get something like that. So we got this and got this.
Then somewhere around at this point I want this things to get animated. So I'm going to move them over here and I'll take a gap of few frames over here like that. Okay, like that. And then somewhere around at this point I'm going to select those again create one key frame on scale each. Then I'll go to around 3 seconds and let's increase the values of this. Then go to the start again and not at the start but over here and press T for opacity to create one key frame. Then hit U. Go to around 3 seconds and let's make this opacity zero. Then I'm going to select those key frames. Then I'll hit F9. I'll go to the graph editor. I'll select this graph and by holding shift I'm going to move this handle over here. So we will get something like that. So we got this and then we got this. Okay.
Now this N over here, this N should also needs to get animated. So for that what I'm going to do somewhere around at this point 20 frames. I'm going to bring this over here. I'll press P for position to create one key frame. Then P for opacity to create another key frame. Hit U and let's go somewhere around 1.20 frames. create each key frame. Then go to the start and let's bring this downwards and let's make this value zero. Then select those key frame and hit F9. Go to the graph, select this graph and by holding shift move this end over here. So you will get something like that.
Then after this we need to create another animation out of it. So let's enable this topmost layer which is this one. I mean this n over here and I want this thing should go from here to here. Okay. So for that I'm going to right click new and I'll create one null object and this null object I'll try to bring them at the center of these two objects over here like that. Okay. Hit enter and let's call it as controller like that. Then I'm going to select this N. Then we need this this here as well. Let's bring this at the top. Then select this N and this shape and let's make it apparent with this controller. Okay.
Then somewhere around this back when then entire stuff is over here. We can now focus on this one. But before that what we need to do over here is that we need to create one tail out of this pair over here as well. So to do that what I'm going to do somewhere around at this point over here I'm going to hit control shift D to speed this layer pick U and let's delete those key E frames. Then after that I'm going to select this and let's just for now let's remove this parenting also for this one let's remove this parenting and I'm going to select this shape layer over here and we need to you know move this from here to here. So let's change the color of this one to yellow. Okay, just for our understanding and then make it apparent with this controller.
Now I'm going to select this controller. I'll press R for rotation to create one key frame. Then I'm going to go somewhere around at this point. So let's move this completely rotate like that. So let's make this 180° and select those key frame and hit F9. Okay. So we got this. Then we got this. Then select this and go to the graph editor. Select this and let's move this handle over here. And let's move this handle over here. Okay, we got this and we got this. If you want then you can move this a little bit over here. So it will be a little bit faster. Okay, like that.
Then somewhere around at this point over here I want you know the other things should start to get animated. So I'm going to select this N as well as this and by holding Alt close square bracket I'll trim them like that. Then I'm going to select this N over here and I'll press R for rotation to create one key stain. Let's go somewhere around over here and let's make this rotation two plus in this let's make this 180° rotation. So what will happen along with this we'll get this you know um rotating animation as well.
Then somewhere around at this point I'm going to enable all the other layers including this end and let's try to bring them at the top. Okay. And with the help of open square bracket I'm going to move them over here like that. Select those layers. Press P for position to create one key frame and right click and choose separate dimensions. Then go to around you know few frame forward to create another key frames. Again go few frame forward to create another key frames. And in the middle of this point over here let's bring the Y position upward of each and every one. Okay. Similarly, let's select those last skill frame and try to bring this a little bit over here. Then in the middle, select all of these layers and change the Y position of them somewhere over here like that. Okay.
Then go at the start and I'm going to select my align tab and go to the align tab and choose align horizontally. And let's change the Y position of this one to somewhere around over here. Like that. Okay. Now insert option I'm going to type Y only. So it will show us Y position key frames. Let's select those Y position key frames. Then we will hit F9. Go to the graph editor. Select this graph by holding shift. Move this handle over here. Select this and move this handle over here. Select this and move this handle over here. Zoom in. Select this and move this handle over here. Move few frame forward. Select this and move this handle over here. Move this handle over here. Move this. Sorry, move this handle over here. And move this window over here. Okay.
So if you check it out this now we will get something like that. But along with that I'm going to press R for rotation to create one key fill hit U and let's go somewhere around over here and let's find this one complete rotation. So we will get something like that. So now if you check it out this we got this and then we got this. But this animation should be one by one. So I'll hit page down button and with the help of open square bracket I'll move this over here. I'll select this move this over here. Hit page down button move this like that. Okay. So what will happen that they are going to animate one by one. Okay. And there is going to be a difference between their animation like that. So now if you check it out this you'll get something like that. Okay.
So this is the one way to do this. Now after this animation if you see it looks like it's taking a little bit time. Okay. So now instead of that what you can do you can simply go at this point. Let's select all of them. And with the help of open square bracket I'm going to move them over here again. Okay. Now what I can do I can select this key frames and by holding alt I can increase the duration. So what will happen? This will animate a little bit later. Okay. So now what I'm going to do, let's do this from the end. Okay? Because I want L1 should start earlier. Then I'm going to select this and by holding Alt I'll increase the duration. Then select those key frames and by holding Alt let's increase the duration. Select this. By holding Alt let's increase the duration like that. I'm holding alt and I'll try to reduce the duration of it. So basically all of them are going to get animated at one point only but there is going to be a gap. Okay, like that. So if you check it out this now we got this then we got this. Okay then hit U.
I'll select all of them and enable motion blur for each and everyone. So what will happen that there's going to be a little bit of realisness in our animation. I mean not realis sorry it's realism. Okay. Because in real life when we see any object we don't see it clearly. you know we get some motion blur like that. Okay. And if you want you can select the shape layer over here and when this is somewhere around at the end you can press S you can create one key frame and at this point you can try to reduce the size of this. Okay. Somewhere around at this point you can try to reduce the size of this. So you know it will look like it's merging between them. Okay. Like that also you can select this end and try to bring this a little bit over here. Okay. So there is going to be a proper transition. Okay.
So now if you check it out this animation we will go something like that. Okay. Then hit U to minimize it. Hit Ctrl Y to create one solid background. And let's try to bring this downwards. and I'll go to around 6 seconds and I'll hit N over here. I can hit Ctrl K to open the project settings and I'm going to make this six frames per second. So what will happen that your animation is going to get a little bit smoother. Okay, like that. As you guys can see our animation is now something like this. So yep, this is how you can create this kind of a logo reveal animation.
