Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel. Today I'll show you how to crochet this super cute ghost and pumpkin keychain. A perfect little accessory for Halloween or to decorate your bag. It's small, quick, and perfect for beginners. All right, let's start crocheting our little ghost.
For round one, make a magic ring, then crochet six single crochets into it. Close the round with a slip stitch. Tip: Keep your stitches even and not too tight. It'll help the shape stay round. [Music] For round two, chain one, then make six increases. That means two single crochets in each stitch around. Join with a slip stitch. Great job. Your circle should start to widen a bit. [Music] [Music] Next, Round three. Chain one, then repeat one single crochet, one increase six times. Join with a slip stitch. You're doing amazing. The base is growing nicely. From round five to round nine, chain one, then make 24 single crochets in each round. End each round with a slip stitch. Tip: Use a stitch marker to remember where each round begins. This will give your ghost a nice smooth body. Round 10, chain one, then repeat: three single crochets, one increase six times. Slip stitch to close. You'll see your ghost getting rounder. So cute. [Music] Round 11, chain one, then repeat two single crochets, one increase, two single crochets six times. Join with a slip stitch. Take your time and keep your tension even. [Music] Round 12, chain one, then repeat five single crochets, one increase six times. Slip stitch to close. Our ghost's head is almost done. Well done. [Music]
For round 13, chain one, then repeat single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet, slip stitch seven times around. This creates the ghost's cute wavy edge, just like a floating skirt. Tip: Keep your tension loose here to let the ruffles flow nicely. [Music]
For each arm, start with a magic ring. Round one: five single crochets, join with slip stitch. [Music] [Music] Round two, chain one, one single crochet, one increase twice, then one single crochet. Join with slip stitch. [Music] Round three, chain one, make seven single crochets, then slip stitch to finish. Make two identical arms and sew them onto the body. Round one for the hat: Magic ring, eight single crochets, slip stitch. [Music] Round two, chain one, eight increases, slip stitch. You'll get a nice flat circle. That's the top of the hat. [Music] Round three, chain one, one single crochet, one increase eight times. Slip stitch. [Music] For Rounds four and five, chain one, 24 single crochets, slip stitch. Tip: Keep your stitches firm so the hat holds its shape. [Music] Round six, chain one, then follow this pattern: four single crochets, one half double crochet, one double crochet, two increases, one double crochet, one half double crochet, four single crochets. And repeat this sequence one more time around. Slip stitch to close and fasten off. Nice work. The hat brim should curve slightly outward. For each pumpkin: Round one, chain 10 and join to form a ring. Then make seven single crochets. Slip stitch to close. [Music] From Round two to Round 11, work in the back loop only.
