If you're a Costco shopper like me, now is a great time to come to the warehouse because in August, I'm seeing a lot of new and exciting items here. In fact, I just saw 10 items I plan to buy today. So, let's walk around my favorite store, Costco. Show you what's new, break down the ingredients to make sure they're good for us, and of course, show those low warehouse prices.

Stop the presses, friends. We have the first, I repeat, the first ever Bobby approved hummus at Costco. What's been the problem that I've talked about forever? Well, they have a lot of hummus varieties, but all of them use seed oils. I love roasted pine nut hummus, but it has sunflower oil in there, processed inflammatory seed oil. Well, this is brand spanking new and it's a collaboration between Ithaca and Graza extravirgin olive oil. So, does that mean they'll be using sunflower? Hex to the no. It means they're using real deal EVO with perfect ingredients. And you know what I really appreciate with this one here? Glyphosate free. Chickpeas can be high in glyphosate, which is the active ingredient in a Roundup, but they're certified glyphosate free. So, they're going above and beyond. I'm gonna buy this because I have seen this in some grocery stores, but it's way more expensive than that. Let us celebrate the first ever clean Bobby approved hummuses here. Hip hip hooray.
Raise your hand if you're taking creatine. I feel like it's the supplement of the last year. And I used to take this stuff when I was 17, 18 years old with my metrics protein powder when I went to Bali's Total Fitness every day. Raise your hand if you know what I'm talking about there. Well, creatine has made a big comeback. And I think that's a great thing. I've been taking about 10 grams every single day for eight months now, but this is a new one. It's organ creatine, but it's micronized. What does that mean? It's very fine particles of creatine, so it dissolves easier and absorbs easier in your body. There was another brand here about four months ago that was inferior, and a lot of you guys said that in the comments. This is high quality. Wait for it. Whoa. $20 for a 24 tub. Best deal ever.
Should you, ladies and gentlemen, be taking creatine? Yes. The studies are widely available for this. There are virtually no side effects. It will improve your workouts. It will improve your muscle. It will improve your recovery. It helps your cognition too because it has something called ATP. And fun fact, last week I did a creatine loading week. 20 grams a day for seven days. I loved it. My energy and my power for my workout went up and I had no side effects at all. Some people can have a side effect to big doses in the form of gastrointestinal issues. If you do, there's another type of creatine called the HCL, but for the most part, monohydrate is where it's at. Actually, there's also a study I heard about that if you wake up completely sleepdeprived and feel like a groggy monster, 20 grams in the morning reverses it completely. This stuff is awesome. Okay, we got a new item in the chill chest here which is really good for back to school season. It's overnight oats. And you might be thinking, Bobby, I've seen this here before. You have, but this is the new protein one here, and it's a great deal. You get 12 cups for just over a dollar a piece. What changed? Well, they added the protein. Is it a cruddy source of protein? No. Check this out. out. I'm actually surprised. It's milk protein isolate. Gosh. But it's not grass-fed or organic. Well, hello. Non-GMO there. Very, very cool. What's interesting is I thought it'd be a plant-based source, like pea protein, which tastes horrible because they do always use almond milk here to keep it dairyf free, but I like the fact they're using milk protein isolate. Good for them. 15 g of protein, three different flavors. Do you see natural flavors? No, I see real vanilla. I see real cocoa, real apples here. And even though I always say oats should be organic, I also say they should be organic or glyphosate free. And I wish they would put it on here, but they're on the certified detox project of glyphosatefree oats. This is great. Overnight oats are really, really popular. It's back, friends. The very popular Kirkland organic maple syrup in the glass bottle from Canada. A this ain't no Aunt Jamaima or they rebranded it. It's ain't no Pearl mining company. This is a real deal. $12.99 for a 25 ounce beautiful glass container. Almost like a flask, right? This was harvested this year. They start the harvest season in late February, I think, through the spring. One of my dreams is actually to go to Canada during the harvest and go to what they call sugar shacks where they pour the fresh maple syrup on like snow and it turns into like a lollipop. I really, really want to do that. People go crazy for this. It's very, very high quality. And it's $12.99. It's a tossup for me between that and the crown. This is from upstate New York, so close to Canada, but still USA. This is Crown Maple with the vanilla bean in here. It's delicious, too. It's been here for a few months now. But this is new, and I know it's not going to last long.
I feel like every other week there's a new extra virgin olive oil at Costco, and I love it. Kudos to them for keeping up with really high quality oils, which we've talked about in videos recently, but this is new. And you might be thinking, you know, Bobby, they've had the Graza extra version for a while. They've had the sizzle bottle here, which is their cooking oil. Now they have their drizzle bottle, which is their finishing oil. I will give them kudos. Their marketing is genius. Drizzle, sizzle. This is a finishing oil. So, a higher quality extravirgin olive oil. What's interesting is it says special edition. And what makes it special is look, it's the cold pressed from the most recent harvest in October. Fresh oil always tastes delicious and has higher polyphenols. And this is single origin from Spain, the Pqual variety. The only thing I do not like about this oil is it's in plastic. But this is all the rage these days. Everyone's putting things in plastic squeeze bottles. So, it is a good price compared to most grocery stores. I would probably go down yonder and pick up the Kirkland Tuscin bottle in glass. But if you do like Graza, you can drizzle, you can sizzle. They got both.
Oh my goodness, it's back. Do you remember years ago when I first moved to Florida to Papo Beach and they had the layered superfood coffee creamer? I haven't seen it in three and a half years and it's back. And this is really good dairyfree coffee creamer from Lar the Surfer. And it's just a few ingredients. It's coconut milk powder sweetened with coconut sugar and then seaweed derived calcium called Aquaman. By the way, that price right there of 62 cents an ounce is so much cheaper than Amazon. I just look for the heck of it. It's a buck 50 an ounce, which is astronomical for just basically coconut sugar and coconut milk. And you might be like, Bobby, come on. Coffee made is so much cheaper. This is not coffee creamer. The first two ingredients, if I can read, are corn syrup, solids, and hydrogenated vegetable oil. This is the official coffee creamer of a corporate work office. You go in there and you see the coffee machine with the sty, you know, the white styrofoam cups from like the 80s, right? And then you have that, right? This is awesome. And benefit of coconut milk is that it has the mediumchain triglycerides, the MCTs, which are great for energy and your brain. So, this is cool to have back. If you're looking for a powdered dairyfree Bobby approved creamer, grab it.
I think this window here could be my favorite section in the frozen category. We've talked about these porita roasted vegetables before. I love the cauliflower rice, which is the cheapest deal ever. And now they have a new frozen vegetable that's done for you already, which I love because it's a timesaver. It's Chef Hacks Mediterranean Veggies. He has a couple of Bobby approved options in the like fridge section sometimes. Organic chicken meatballs if I remember correctly. Well, these are veggies that are really nice hearty vegetables like cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, artichokes. Wow, you don't see that very often. Cooked in avocado oil. We love to see this, right? Avocado oil here, extra virgin olive oil with these. No seed oils, and you're getting some good ruffage at 2 g of fiber per serving. All you have to do is heat it up. It's precooked. And you get Oh, look at this. Wow. You got a little manufacturer's coupon until August 17, 250 off. So, it's basically 266 per pound. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you just bought cauliflower, carrots, asparagus, artichokes, wouldn't it cost us more than 266 a pound? Crazy daisy. So, warm this up, pair it with the protein, dinner's done. You're saving money. You're a rockstar for goodness sakes.
I spy one of the few clean Bobby approved veggie burgers at Costco. I've seen these before at like Whole Foods or Sprouts, but they're here now. It's called the actual veggie burger. And I love the name because my biggest issue with most plant-based burgers like Beyond or Impossible is that they're garbage, right? It's all seed oils and fake ingredients. This is real vegetables here. If memory serves me correct, black beans, onions held together with pea protein, avocado oil instead of seed oil, quinoa, spices, carrots, very nutrient-dense. I have no problem with veggie burgers, but fake meat burgers, actual veggie burgers, which is the name of the company, is the way to go. And you get 10 wo 10 of them for $10. Wow. A dollar a burger. So, if you're vegetarian, they finally have a clean one here at Costco.
I haven't seen this here in a while, and I think they brought it back because it's back to school season. It's these insulated food jars from Thermoff Flask, the same company who make the water bottles. And I don't know why it has the star on here because it is relatively new. And it comes for a two pack for $33. It's pretty nifty for school or work because look what it says here. Keeps food cold for 24 hours or hot for 12. And it's a double wall stainless steel insulated. 24 hours. Okay. So, let's say you're going to put a chilled tomato gaspacho for Timmy to go to school, right? Cuz it's tomato season and we know that Timmy loves his gaspacho. Cold for 24 hours. Or you're going to make a hot lentil doll for your kid to go to school with. 12 hours hot there. Very, very impressive. $33 completely non-toxic because it's stainless steel. Worth a scoop.
I'm sorry. Is it me or is it a bit too early to be selling Halloween stuff? We're the first weekend in August here. I feel like every holiday season gets pushed up year after year.
