Watch Paula White say the most insane thing, and then watch this Christian respond.
"God needs someone that he can partner with in the earth. In fact, when he said, 'Let them have dominion,' he transferred dominion, rulership, and reign over to mankind. And so, it's illegal for God to do anything in the earth without someone. So that's why God is standing looking to and fro for somebody to make up the hedge. You better slap somebody, say, 'You've got a big job for Jesus.'"
White says that God needs us. God needs us. This is a common refrain amongst false teachers that God is not sovereign. He needs us. He needs our permission.
Dear friends, is there anything that God needs? God has need of no one and no thing. He does not need us. He does not have a man-shaped hole in his heart. God does not need us. We need him. And any person who is preaching a gospel that says that God needs us, he is preaching a different gospel.
