e e e Okay, tell me when we're live.

Hello guys, uh, it's so… man, wow. We had we had over 10,000 people um joined this Challenge on on YouTube yesterday. It was just amazing. It's one of my most successful challenges, which really um very humbling experience to me. So I really want to thank you guys, not only for participating but for getting your loved ones and your co-workers and your friends and your family to participate. It really means a world to me, you know. Um, I really try to be very intentional about these challenges. Um, I meet with my team. Um, I talk to other, you know, Physicians and and thought leaders in the space. Um, I really consult with professional chefs. Um, you know, we look at ingredients; we look at how to curate the the exact supplements to include in these challenges. It's not about trying to sell you stuff; it's about trying to make a real change in your life and um the fact that it's being adopted at such a um an impactful level is is very meaningful to me. So I just want to acknowledge that and say thank you. Um, it means a lot to me; if it means a lot to you and um so I want to thank everyone for joining um and and sort of recap what happened on day one. Uh, and don't worry if you weren't with us on day one; it's not too late to join today. And if you um, you know, if you haven't um gotten everything that you need for the challenge, you perfectionists out there, you you guys with the comp TG mutation that need everything to be perfect, don't worry about it. Um, you can do this challenge again um on your own time or over a weekend, and I encourage you to do it with your family, with your friends. It's a lot easier than some of the other challenges we've done. You know, three-day water fasting is difficult. Um, cold plunging is is really difficult for people. Um, you know, starting an intense morning routine is very very difficult for people, but when you get to hydrate and nourish and eat clean Foods, it's not as difficult as as some of these other challenges. So I think the gut reset is a great place for people to start.

So remember, after I left you yesterday, you should have had a mid-afternoon snack of um cucumber slices and miso dressing. Um, you know, these are actually designed to to put um Prebiotic fiber, which I'm going to talk about in a second, into the body to really kind of hydrate and nourish the body. Yesterday we were trying to actually begin the waste elimination process, so sometime today, if you actually—I know it's a weird thing to talk about with thousands of people on a Zoom—but uh you should be having a bowel movement if you haven't had one um already. And then last night we followed it up with a wild caught salmon with ginger coconut sauce and roasted vegetables. Um, yes, you can replace the meats with tofu for so those of you that are vegan or vegetarians; it's fine to do that. Um, if you are vegan or vegetarian, please include things like um shelled hemp seeds um, you know, in in your diet because they really have very high amounts of the omega-3 fatty acids and very high protein, which is sometimes difficult for vegans and vegetarians to meet their protein requirements. Another reason why I like to take amino acids in the the morning.

So how did it taste? How are you guys feeling? Throw it into the chat, you know, let me know what's working, what's not. Um, let me know how you're feeling, how your meals went yesterday, and um if, again, if you weren't perfect on your meals, that's okay. Um, you should have also taken the gut restore last night. Um, this is a um a supplement—looks like this—uh, this is a supplement that that actually—and and guys, you might know that—um, you know, Body Health is not my company; I I am a huge fan of Body Health because Dr. Minkoff is one of the top regenerative medicine physicians in the country. What I love about these guys—and I'm not saying they're the only ones that make gut products—but what I love about these guys is that they do actual real studies on real human beings. He has thousands of patients coming through his Clinic system. Some would consider him a direct competitor of mine; I own a clinic called 10x Health, but I don't consider there to be any competitors in the space of doing the right thing for Humanity, and there's lots of people doing things that like I'm doing out in the world, and one of them is Dr. Minkoff. Um, and he's been extremely cautious about the ingredients in in the Body Health Products. So you might notice that I shout these guys out all the time, but the gut restore is designed to address bloating, um irritable bowel syndrome, um gluten reactions; it also maintains that in gastrointestinal barrier that we talked about um yesterday; it helps to remove yeast and harmful bacterias and toxins, and it maintains a homostasis in the digestive tract—just a um, you know, a state of calm in the digestive tract—so that our our healthy microbiome can flourish. We talked a little yesterday um about uh these these different ways that bacteria protect themselves by actually secreting a shell around themselves; this ends up lining the inside of our gut, um and then it also um ends up protecting bacteria—harmful bacteria—from allowing your immune system to get to those bacteria. Very often, a lot of the inflammation that's going on in our gut is the proper response of our immune system to detecting foreign pathogens. So what happens is we eat foods that don't serve us; we put chemicals and toxins and herbicides and pesticides and glyphosat—prozess system—from actually attacking that bacteria, and so you get an increased level of inflammation. A lot of our bloating, our gas, diarrhea, our constipation, our irritability and our cramping is an actual positive response to negative toxins in our body. So if we can remove negative toxins, we can calm the immune system down. So one of the things I like about that specific gut restore product is that it has humic acid. Um, it has something called imunol Lin, which is an an actual um antibody to these uh to these toxins, and so even if your body doesn't manufacture the right antibody to that bofilm, the um imunol Lin will actually dissolve that bofilm, and then your your immune system can wipe them out.

So I've been very U thoughtful about how we put this together, right? I mean, we're not just introducing Prebiotic and Probiotic foods; we're actually introducing support for our immune system—things to heal and seal and repair the gut, things that are going to reduce inflammation, things that are going to bind toxins—actually soak up toxins in our gut like activated charcoal, zooly um and silica Clays that are actually non-toxic to humans but actually bind a lot of the harmful things in our gut to eliminate them out of our body. Um, you know, the other thing that I'm really trying to do is just get you guys comfortable with self self-care. It's it's it's so astounding to me that it's viewed to be selfish when we take time for ourselves, and you know, when I was in the morality space, we actually had a mortality Factor um and there were there were several mortality factors that you may have heard of, but so many of you that are watching this right now have this syndrome; one of them was called caregiver syndrome, and caregiver syndrome happens very often to to mothers, um especially when they have young children. Um, caregiver syndrome happens in the elderly when the elderly gets uh Falls ill and a family member begins to care for them, and essentially what caregiver syndrome is is a natural um response um uh psychon neurological response in the body to care for others before we care for ourselves, and you know, we're really no good to anyone else if we don't care for ourselves. You know, I I give the first 90 minutes of every single day to myself; it doesn't belong to my spouse; it doesn't belong to my staff; it doesn't belong to you guys; it doesn't belong to um any of the clients that that I work directly with; it belongs solely to myself. It's at 90 minutes of self-care, and I do it every single day, and it's non-negotiable. You know, this week I'm taking off um for a pretty intense trip to the Middle East. I'll leave at 12:45 in the morning on Thursday; I'll be back by 10 pm on Sunday. I'm going halfway around the world; I'm going to take you guys with me; I'm going to show you how on 15-hour flights and 8-hour time zone differences you can still maintain 95% plus sleep scores and how you eat on the road, prepare yourself for long-distance flights, and how you can still travel like a road warrior and you can still engage in that self-care. So if you're if you're tuning into my Instagram, make sure you follow my trip; hopefully I'll keep my promise to you and get better than 95% sleep scores, but it's really important for us to start our day correctly. You know, our bodies crave routine, so one of the things that I would suggest is that you set yourself up for Success; pick an area of your kitchen; put your hydrogen water bottle, if you have one of those, um put your um gut restore products, put your um uh Baja gold Sea salt and your perfect amino acids in the same place every day because our our our brains key into that routine. You know, if you watch my routine this morning, I am I am—you could set your watch by what I I do every day in the morning—within 30 minutes of waking every day I'm outside with sunlight hitting my skin, looking at the Horizon, even if it's a cloudy day, and I'm doing breath work. I you can start with three rounds of 10 breaths; you can progress to 15 to 20 to 25 and then to 30, and the reason why I do it within 30 minutes of waking every single day is so that my body knows that if I'm doing breath work, it's time to wake up. I can actually shift; I can bookend my sleep; I have the same sleep sleep routine going to bed; I have the same sleep sleep routine going out of bed, and so I bookend my sleep so my my body knows, okay, we're doing breath work; it's time to wake up, and then I come inside and I hydrate and I nourish my body, and I want to walk you through why that's so important because most of are are are actually clinically dehydrated. You know, the last estimate that I read, which was a 2006 survey, um estimated that about 85% of the American population is clinically dehydrated, and clinically dehydrated means you are so dehydrated you've lost a sensation for thirst. So not only do we need to—which if you're one of those people that can go an entire day without drinking a single glass of water and your body doesn't remind you to drink, you are clinically dehydrated—and the way to fix that is for four straight days, take 10 ounces of water in the morning, um clean filtered water, add perfect aminos, add a pinch of Baja gold sea salt, Swirl It Up and whack it back. On the fourth day, that sensation for thirst will return. We want our bodies to remind us when it actually needs nourishment, and so by starting your morning routine with the same exact thing—like breath work, which is portable, which is free—like hydration with amino acids and with mineral salts—um and today I actually uh uh warm the water up, which I usually don't do, but I've done it for this gut reset Challenge, and I squeezed a half a lemon in in into the water, and I could actually feel it going through my system. That lemon, when it leaves the stomach, um when it hits the stomach, it's very acidic; when it enters the blood, it becomes very alkaline. Um, so it's a really interesting phenomenon about the buffering of lemon, um even though lemon is an acidic um before it's ingested; it is very alkaline once you put it into the body. These are just natural ways to start your day um with the same routine and get your body used to this is the time to wake up, and this is what we do first thing in the morning, and so I really want to normalize self-care, um and I really want to normalize being selfish in the morning so you can be selfless with the rest of your day. If you're one of those people that is uh affected by caregiver syndrome, it's a very admirable trait, but long term it does not it does not serve our Temple. I mean, I'm in my 50s; I'm also trying to normalize 7 p.m. night clubs in Miami, but that's not working out either, so I got a better chance at normalizing this with you guys.

So this morning, why do we start with um H hydrogen water, uh perfect aminos and Baja gold sea salt? Remember that the human body needs—human beings need—91 essential minerals. These are the minerals that you don't hear about very often: maliva, manganese, uh zinc, copper, Boron, um iron, calcium, silica, and these are the these are the co-actors that actually help our body um in all of these tiny little intricate biological processes, and you can get those minerals. Usually the hydration products that you um get off the shelf have the big three in them; they have potassium, magnesium and sodium. The reason why most manufacturers put those three on the label is because those are the three that most people recognize, and when they look at it, they go, oh, I recognize potassium; I recognize magnesium; I recognize sodium; this is a good product. The truth is that there's a whole class of minerals um that we don't talk about very often; they're harder to manufacture; they're more expensive to put into electrolyte drinks; they're more expensive to put into um electrolyte supplements, so they don't put them in there because it's not valuable to the sale of that product, and the best way to get these is to get them from nature. If you look at the contents of of mineral salts—Celtic salt, Baja gold salt—you'll find that they're very very rich in minerals; same thing as if you took a cup and scooped it out of a running stream; you would find that that water is not just H2O; it's got all kinds of minerals in it. So we mineralize and hydrate the body. The second thing that um I'd like us to add every day to our drinking water is amino acids, and the reason for that is that proteins—I mean, I'm sorry, amino acids are not proteins; they are the building blocks of proteins. There's a lot of misconceptions around protein and amino acids. The reason why the requirement for protein is so high—one um uh one um uh serving of protein per kilogram of body weight—um the reason why we have to take in so much protein is because we're trying to get to the amino acids, right? So there are eight essential amino acids. If these eight essential amino acids are deficient—even a single one of them—so if you only have seven of the eight amino acids, that's what's called an imperfect profile; what will happen is the rest of those amino acids will turn either to fat or to Sugar. So let me repeat that: if you're missing even a single one of the eight essential amino acids, the balance of those amino acids will turn to fat or turn to sugar because you cannot build complete proteins with an incomplete amino acid profile. You also cannot Target direct uh amino acids or proteins. So in other words, we don't eat our nails to grow our nails; we don't eat our hair to grow our hair. Why do you think you can eat collagen to grow collagen? You see, that's a marketing myth; collagen's an imperfect protein; it does not actually grow muscle; it's fine to take it; I have no issues with collagen, but just understand you can't build muscle, and collagen does not show up as collagen in your skin; collagen, elastin and fibrin in the skin is built from amino acids. So if you want to improve the tone or the texture of your skin, if you actually want to build muscle, you need to take the eight essential amino acids. Most of us are not protein deficient; we are amino acid deficient. When we have the right amino acid profile, not only can you build hair, skin and Nails, collagen, elastin and fibrin and muscle tissue, you can also build all of the other components in the body that are made from amino acids, which is your entire immune system; all of your natural killer cells are built from amino acids; there are amino acids um building blocks for our hormones. So when we get deficient in the basics—the eight essential amino acids—and they're called essential because they're necessary for life, then we have an incomplete ability to construct the different parts of our biome, and that's why I say every morning what we want to do is give the body the raw material it needs to do its job, right? This th this this body was is a perfect design, but it's imperfect if it doesn't have the right construction material. So mineral salts, hydration, you can add lemon, um and and amino acids in the morning; that is a perfect way uh to start your day. So I just wanted you to know why we're doing that.

So yesterday was all about clearing the path, eliminating those common gut disruptors, you know, um giving your system kind of a gentle detox. Um, now that the Slate is a little more clean, today's mission is to nourish the body, and so I want to talk a little bit about how we nourish the gut. Um, most of us know that um probiotics are the bacteria; they are actual bacteria; probiotics are the bacteria that populate our gut with friendly bacteria. So if it is a probiotic or probiotic bacteria, then um then it's populating the gut with healthy bacteria; if it is a Prebiotic, this is what the probiotics eat. So a Prebiotic is the food for the bacteria, and this is mainly in the form of insoluble and soluble fiber. So the reason why you'll see so many fermented vegetables on this menu is that fermented vegetables, even though you masticate them and swallow them, they actually, through the little bits of insoluble fiber, carry those probiotics—the actual bacteria—and the prebiotics—the food for those bacteria—out of your stomach and into your gut, and during that long 30-foot trip to the back door, they actually are digested, turn into free fatty acids and leave the bacteria in your gut. The safest and healthiest way to populate the gut is by consistently eating foods that are Prebiotic and probiotic in nature, and there's nothing better than fermented vegetables for those. Um, so you will see that some of the products that I'm encouraging you to take are Prebiotic; some of them are probiotic; so some of them are food, and some of them are bacteria. So um I want to discuss how your body's adjusting after um eliminating these uh gut disruptors because you know, we we invite a lot of these gut disruptors uh in into the body. So one of the things that we're doing is trying to help us not only just repopulate the gut but also line the luminal area of our gut with the prebiotics that that are healthy bacteria. It's not good enough to just put healthy bacteria into the gut; you have to give them the food that they need in order to thrive. What's really interesting about the gut microbiome, which is IR refutable now in in science—is is IR refutable a word or did I just make that up—but what's what what's not refutable any longer is that the more stable our gut microbiome, the more unstable the pathogen biome. You see, healthy gut bacteria are the Warriors; they are the army that kill the pathogens and the foreign bacteria and the compounds that actually disrupt our gut. So by rebalancing our gut, you actually create a defense mechanism against all of these other um toxins that enter enter the gut and populate uh populate bacteria that steal from us.

So we did our morning routine this morning; remember we're going to have our our our drink today; you should be um making your Echo hydrogen water, um and we just put some uh cucumber and some mint in there; this is delicious; you're going to drink this at 10 o'clock this morning; I'm going to have a little sip of it early; super super easy, and we're just going to mineralize and and and and nourish the body body and we're going to stay hydrated throughout the rest of the day. So we're also bringing a uh in a game Cher, which is something I call mindful eating. It's not just about what you're eating; it's it's why you're eating it. You know, remember I like to think of the our bodies as a temple, and I like to think of us as being in service to our Temple. If you're not in service to anything else in your life, you need to be in service to your own body and creating this sort of invisible barrier around ourselves and filtering things before they make it to the the temple. So just think about it that way. So when you sit down to eat, just slow down for a second and be intentional about what you're eating; take five or eight seconds to just ask yourself why am I eating this, um and what do I expect it to do when it gets into my body? When you're intentional and mindful about what you're—if you're just aware and conscious about what's coming into your body—just that simple state of being aware will help you make better choices. You know, a lot of us are so deprogrammed; we're so desensitized to what's going into our bodies that we're not even paying attention when we're feeding ourselves to what we're eating. Some of us are eating for the sake of eating; we're eating to change our mood; we're eating to take a break in the day; we're eating because we're depressed; we're eating because we're happy; we're eating because we're bored; we're not intentional about why we're eating, and if I didn't do anything else for you guys other than to raise your level of awareness when it actually comes time to put something into your your body, that one practice alone will serve you for the rest of your life. So just taking a few seconds before each meal to be intentional about what we're putting into our bodies makes a huge huge difference. Um, so we can create a little space for ourselves to just to just be intentional. So um chia seeds and lemon water; if you didn't get the chia seeds, that's okay; just add the uh lemon water, but remember chia seeds are loaded with fiber; it nourishes your gut bacteria and it supports digestion; supports the Healthy Growth of bacteria. No, chia seeds are not trying to kill you; chia seeds are actually trying to serve you. Um, I I actually had a couple of questions; I don't know where somebody heard that on Instagram, but there were few people that said that uh they saw that chia seeds were toxic for us; nothing could be further from the truth. Um, and um and then I want to encourage you guys that are not VIPs to upgrade to the VIP. Um, you know, we're doing a bunch of exclusive giveaways—you know, Body Health, Echo, Baja gold—tons of giveaways; you're going to have a lot more time to directly interact with me and ask me questions, um and then of course I provide uh free resources for the next two weeks—a whole dietary plan for my VIPs for the next two weeks—so they can continue on their path to make sure they they're successful. Um, and then you know we're gonna have also live q&as with with a bunch of Industry leaders. You know, I was I was actually watching um this uh um this movement that's going on right now in in the food industry with some of my um industry peers, which I'm a huge fan of—trying to get uh artificial food dieses out of our food supply that are illegal in Europe that are actually allowed here in the US—um and on and there was this big march on Kelloggs; you might have have seen where um thousands of people showed up to Kellogg's headquarters and tried to are trying to get Kelloggs to use natural colorings like they use in Canada and Europe in their cereals rather than the artificial colorings that are destroying our gut and giving our kids behavioral issues. Um, I even want to take a further step back and say let's just march to not eat cereal. I mean, um I would love it if they would put better ingredients into their cereals, but it's still cereals. And so for for those of you—especially those of you with young children—um you know that I I'm I'm a big proponent of trying to get folic acid out of your diet, um and when we talk about gut health, we can't really have a comprehensive discussion on gut health without meting discussing folic acid and how in 44% of the population it is just an atom bomb for your behavior, your gut, your short-term memory, your focus, your concentration, your ability to complete critical tasks. You know, folic acid, contrary to popular belief, is not a natural vitamin; folic acid does not occur anywhere naturally in nature; you cannot find folic acid anywhere on the surface of the Earth; we make it in a laboratory, full stop. Full l occurs naturally in nature. Um, and so um during the 70s, there was a high proliferation of—there was an increasing rate of neural tube defects in pregnant um and delivering uh mothers, and one of the things they wanted to do was try to reduce uh the number of neural tube defects—this is when the nervous system forms—and children were being born with these neural tube defects, so it was a great intention initially, and somehow the chemical industry uh convinced our federal government that if we sprayed our entire grain supply—all grains, all white flour, all white rice, all pasta, um all cereals of any kind in the United States and all white rice—if we sprayed all of these foods that everyone is eating with the chemical folic acid, um we could reduce neural tube defects, and there was a marginal effect on neural tube defects only. What they didn't realize was that folic acid in 44% of the population cannot be processed; you don't have the gene, the enzyme required to convert folic acid into methyl folate. The reason why I'm bringing this up for you guys is because the science is in; I'm going to put a link to this study. Um, it's called foliate insufficiency due to MTHFR deficiency; mtfr is the most common gene mutation in the world. Why am I talking about this on a gut challenge? Because so many of you have spent a lifetime trying to figure out why your gut is disrupted and it's not correlating to what you're eating; so many of you have done allergy testing, food sensitivity testing and cannot figure out why you go from gas to bloating to diarrhea to constipation to irritability to cramping, and it seems to not be connected with what you're eating. So I'm here to sort of make that connection for you; very often it is not the gluten or the allergy that shows up on your allergy test; it is the folic acid acid that is in our food supply; folic acid did not naturally make it into the food supply; we artificially added it to the food supply. In fact, California just announced—which is just my numbing to me—um don't get me started on California by the way—but California just announced that um uh they are requiring um the addition of of folic acid to several new food sources by law; so even imported into the state, it's going to be re ired that it be that folic acid be added. Why is this such a bad idea? Well, um I'm not going to bore you with the entire study, but um I did a whole um um Instagram short on this, so if you really want to get the the real details on this, um I did a free Instagram short on this because I've been on my soap box for this for a long time. There are lots of mothers and fathers out there that have kids that when they go to get them in in the car to go to school in the morning, it's a full contact sport. Um, the calls are starting to come home from the the the teachers and the schools saying, Hey, Little Johnny or little Susie is not paying attention; he or she's disruptive; they can't follow directions; they don't pay attention for very long; they're not completing assignments; we need to bring in the rlin or the Aderall or the viance to solve this, and the truth is it may be the unnatural compound folic acid. And so during the gut challenge, I want you to get folic acid completely out of your diet. Folic acid is an all fortified or enriched foods, so if it says fortified or enriched, that's a code word for it's been sprayed with folic acid. So during a gut challenge, I have to talk about folic acid because even if you do this gut restore and you get to the other side of this three days, you follow my program for the next two weeks, you're feeling amazing; you start to introduce Foods back into your diet—now I've I've eliminated all the folic acid for you—but you start to eliminate Foods um or you start to allow Foods back into your diet um that contain folic acid—white flour, white rice, white bread, white pasta, white potatoes, cereals, grain means—um and then all of a sudden your guts in the tail spin again, and then you go and you get an allergy test, and you're not allergic to any of the things that you're um eating or you're allergic to a bunch of things that you're um that you're eating that you're actually not allergic to. This why I don't like allergy testing; very few allergy tests or food sensitivity tests will actually measure your Baseline state of inflammation. So in other words, if you're walking around in an inflammatory state of a six—like you have high homo cine, you have high C reactive proteins, um you have High um other markers of inflammation in your body—then small irritations—like a small a movement of a two because you ingested blueberries—will show up on that test as an eight, so it will artificially tell you that you are positively allergic to Foods you have no virtually no reaction to. So I really want to get to the root of that, but this study was amazing, and it and it um it Vindicated me from a lot of my haters, um because I've been on this soap box for a long time. I don't know if you can actually see this diagram right here. Um, I'm going to show you this diagram; I'm going to post this study um in the show notes for you. Okay, what this diagram shows—can can you zoom in close to me if I pull it back to me—um what this diagram shows guys um is it shows folate, which you get from green leafy vegetables, which you get from all kinds of healthy things in your diet, and then it also shows the chemical folic acid. Okay, okay, it shows you folate and it shows you folic acid, um and essentially what this is showing you is that when you put folate—natural folate—or folic acid into the body, they enter the cycle in the cell in the same place. So in other words, they start being broken down until they are completely broken down into something called methyl folate. Both of these compounds are useless; 44% of you watching this podcast or YouTube right now—44% of you—cannot process that folic acid. So what happens? It stops at a certain place and it begins to accumulate; it begins to rise. What else happens is you begin to develop a deficiency in methyl folate; it's also called 5 mthf, which doesn't stand for the mother effer; it stands for methylene Tetra hydrolate reductase. So so what happens is you take in these folic acid compounds; you feed them to your kids; what does the average American kid eat for breakfast in the morning? He eat he or she eats a white Bagel; they eat a bowl of cereal; they eat toast; they eat breads; they eat Pop-Tarts; they eat other things that are Laden with folic acid. 44% of kids also have this gene mutation MTHFR, and even if you don't test for it, you can skip this gene mutation by adding five- mthf—five methyl folate—to your morning routine—just a capsule—you and also had a capsule at night, but what I want to show you is on the far right over here—I don't know if you can follow these arrows—you'll see that methyl folate is like the Disneyland Fastpass; it skips the entire line. You see all these processes that folic acid has to go through; you see all these conversions that folate has to go through; methyl folate doesn't have to go through any of them; it literally butts all the way in line; it goes right into the cell, and what does methyl folate do once it's in inside of your cell? Methylfolate is necessary for neurotransmitter production; neurotransmitters are responsible for all of our mood, for all of our emotional state; methylfolate is responsible for the peristaltic activity in the gut; think of a snake swallowing a mouse, right? That peristaltic wave-like motion; you've heard me say this before—our heart does not circulate blood to 70% of our body; let me say that again—your heart does not circulate blood to 70% of your body; it only was responsible for 30% of your circulation; none of you has a heart that is strong enough to pump blood from the center of your chest to the tip of your toe through all of the vessels in your brain to the back of your eye and through your liver, lungs, pancreas, kidneys and all your other organs. So how does that circulation occur? It occurs through an activity called vasam motor—again like a snake swallowing a mouse. Well, what if this peristaltic activity is impaired? What if the vasomotor activity is reduced? Well, this is why most people start wearing readers in their 50s; it's not because their eyesight's going bad; it's because the vasomotor activity to the back of the eye is compromised. This is why um in our late 40s and early 50s a lot of us start to get cold fingers and toes all the time; this is why the tissue uh supplied by vasomotor activity begins to be deficient—our thyroid, our pituitary, our pineal glands, other areas of our body. So by putting folate—methyl folate—into the body—and I'm going to give you sources of that in in this gut reset challenge—you are not only restoring proper gut motility, you are restoring the proper conversion of neurotransmitters; you are restoring the proper um circulation to all the vasomotor circulation to all of your organ systems in the body; it's is just astounding what you can do just by giving the body the raw material it needs to do its job. So for any of the naysayers out there—especially if there's any young um mothers out there—um that are pregnant or thinking about getting pregnant, please ditch the uh prenatals that have folic acid and get a prenatal that has methyl folate.

So really, I I'm going deeper into the compounds and why we why I selected these food sources and why I selected these supplements because essentially what I'm trying to do is is restore your body back to where it has the raw material it needs to do its job. Once we give the body the raw material we it needs to do its job; if we have the habit of continually putting those compounds um into the body, it never goes backwards. So I don't want you to slip after the gut reset Challenge and you start to feel a lot better and start introducing some of these Foods because 44% of the people watching this uh um YouTube podcast right now, you have this gene mutation and you're probably still consuming folic acid, and so are your kids. You want to see a new kid around the house? Get folic acid out of their diet for a week; you you text me in a week or you you send me an email in a week and let me know how how well your kids are behaving; it can be that it can be that simple.

Okay, so um so let's talk about what we're fueling our bodies with today and why we selected some of those. Um, I talked a little bit about the difference between prebiotics, which is like food for our probiotics, which are our bacteria; why we need amino acids; they're the building blocks of proteins and they're the building blocks of all of the things in our body like hair, skin, nails and our our um immune system, and can amino acid deficiencies lead to immuno deficiencies? Yes. And so very often we're overconsuming calories to try to get to the level of protein, and all we really need is the amino acids. So the thing I like about perfect aminos is that they are non-caloric; they don't even break a fast. So if you're actually fasting or you like to work

Ça a passé vite.
