Hello everyone. Today I would like to tell you how to increase internet speed and stabilize the connection if your internet is working poorly. First of all, I would like to say that often the problem with poor internet is solved by changing the provider or tariff. And in this situation, I am unlikely to be able to help you with anything. Also, I would like to clarify immediately that I am not a professional in internet setup, and everything I show next, you repeat at your own risk. So, let's get started. First, press the key combination Windows + R or in the Windows search bar, type "run". In the window that opens, type "gpedit.msc". Now we go to Administrative Templates, then to Network, then to QoS Packet Scheduler. Now double-click on the item "Limit reservable bandwidth". Enable this parameter and set the value to 0%. Apply and close. Great, the first step is done. Now right-click on the Windows icon on the taskbar. Then go to Network Connections. Then to Adapter Options. Right-click on our network and select Properties. Here we see various parameters of our network. You can personally read what each parameter is responsible for, but I would recommend you set the parameters as I have, as I chose the most optimal ones. In any case, act at your own discretion. This is the most reliable option. Excellent. Now find the parameter called "Internet Protocol Version 4". Double-click on it and go to the properties of this parameter. Here, click on "Use the following DNS server addresses". Below, we need to specify the DNS servers. I recommend using Google DNS servers, as they are the best in most cases. However, there are different DNS servers. And now I will show you how to find out which server is suitable specifically for you. For example, I will compare Google and Cloudflare DNS servers and find out which one is better for me. Open the command prompt as administrator. This can be done in the Windows search. Now enter the command "ping" and the DNS server. In the case of Google, it is 8.8.8.8, and in the case of Cloudflare, it is 1.1.1.1. And compare which server is better for us. So, in my case, the ping was lower for Google servers. You should use the address of the server that is better for you. Return to the properties of the "Internet Protocol Version 4" parameter and enter our DNS servers. I will leave the addresses for Google and Cloudflare in the description. If you want to set servers from other companies, they are easy to find on the internet. Done. Now click OK and exit. Now right-click on the Windows icon again and go to Device Manager. Here, find your specific adapter. Note its name and search for drivers for it on the internet. Just type its name and "drivers". And download the drivers from the official manufacturer's website. There is nothing complicated in the installation procedure. Just find our installation file, after unpacking it if necessary, and that's it. Go back to Device Manager and right-click on our adapter. Go to Properties. Go to the Power Management tab. Make sure that after installing the driver, all checkboxes in this tab are unchecked. Excellent. Now restart the system and check the result. Also, as a small bonus, I would like to show some settings in Steam if you have a low download speed specifically in Steam. So, first, go to Steam, click on the button in the upper left corner, and go to Settings. Here, go to Downloads and first, make sure that the download region closest to you is selected. Also, disable the "Limit download speed" option if it is enabled. You can configure the options below to your liking, however, I still recommend setting my values for the best result. And these were all the ways to improve the internet. Like and subscribe to the channel if they helped you. Look for the necessary information from the video in the description. I also recommend watching my previous video on increasing FPS in CS2. I think it turned out pretty good. Good luck everyone. See you in the next video. M.
