These mice have golden brown fur, long and curly. It feels rough and dense to the touch, as it did over ten thousand years ago when mammoths roamed the icy tundra.
So the question is, where did the Woolly Mouse get its mammoth DNA from? The answer is the permafrost in Siberia. The excavated mammoth remains have been frozen for over 10,000 years. This leads to another question: what about these mammoths? They are frozen so thoroughly and completely that even the DNA has not degraded. What exactly happened here? Archaeologists speculate that there may have been a strange cooling event at that time. In an instant, these mammoths were frozen into blocks of ice.

In 1901, on the Beresovka River in Siberia, a group of miners were in the permafrost. Unearthed a colossal creature, a mammoth. In 1887, Sir Henry Howorth, a British geologist, wrote a classic work titled 'The Mammoth and the Great Flood'. There is also the University of Alaska paleontologist Dale Guthrie, who published in 1990 the frozen fauna of the Mammoth Steppe. This archaeologist in New Mexico, USA, University professor Frank C. Hibben, after he surveyed Alaska in 1941, wrote a book called 'The Lost Americans'. In it, he described the scene of massive mammoth deaths in Alaska very vividly. Mammoths and bison were torn and twisted, as if by some cosmic hand. In divine fury, it was done. There is, and it's Captain Nicholas Young. I've found a very powerful scripture. It comes from ancient Iran. The ancient gods of Iran have revealed all the answers to us. This is from Iran, the oldest scripture of Zoroastrianism from Persia, the Avesta. The Avesta scriptures actually preserve a very ancient oral tradition, and many vast scriptures were later transmitted to India by the Aryans and then entrusted to some high priests known as the Brahmins. At a time when writing had not yet been invented, they memorized through a human blockchain tens of millions of words and recited the scriptures in one go. In the first chapter of Avesta, Vandidad, and the second chapter, it records an important message, which is the secret dialogue between the supreme god Ahura Mazda and the ancient holy king Yima. In 1880, the French orientalist James Darmesteter translated this scripture into English, included in the Oriental Scriptures series published by Oxford University. It was the fourth volume. At that time, the martial god Ahura Mazda warned humanity in this way: "The handsome son of Imawivan, Hart, a deadly harsh winter will descend upon this material world, bringing fierce and filthy frost, causing snowflakes to swirl in the sky. Even at the top of the highest mountain peaks, snow will accumulate deep up to one Aridvi. All three types of livestock will be extinct: those living in the wilderness on mountain tops, as well as those living deep in the valleys, and those sheltered in the stables. Before the harsh winter sets in, fields once provided abundant pasture for livestock, but after the ice and snow melt and the torrents rush, even a place where a sheep's hoofprint can be seen will be considered a land of happiness in this world."
In the scripture of Avesta, records the great flood of mankind. A very key information in mythology is the great flood. It occurred after the earth was frozen, after most living creatures in this world were on the brink of extinction. This ice and snow melted. After the rushing flood, there will be places with hoof prints where this land emerges. This is the happy place for mankind. Then this Shamazda just proposed a plan for the survival of humanity. Not far from the ancient Persian Empire, in Turkey, Cappadocia Region, archaeologists underground discovered a deep 85 meters underground palace, as deep as 18 floors, called Derinkuyu Underground City. There's a creepy point that there is no record of in Turkish history. There is a theory among mainstream archaeologists that it was early Christians built to escape the religious persecution of the Roman Empire. But let's think logically. But why did they go to such lengths to dig an 18-level underground palace housing over 20,000 people? These over 20,000 people lived here. Wouldn't they be easily discovered by the Roman Empire then? This is a very creepy logic problem. So, this underground city in Turkey, is it the Varla mentioned in the Avesta? More than 13,000 years ago, what exactly happened on Earth that humans had to build such a huge underground palace?
We need to study this scientifically. They could instantly freeze these mammoths and trigger a global frozen myth panic, an ultimate culprit. What are the possibilities? According to scientists' reasoning, there are a total of three suspects. Suspect 1 is named Milankovitch. Serbian scientist Milutin Milankovitch proposed the eccentricity of Earth's orbit, the periodic changes in the tilt of Earth's axis will alter the amount of solar radiation received by Earth, thus driving the alternation between ice ages and interglacial periods. Meaning it can make the Earth colder. But in the Milankovitch cycle model, the timescale is between several tens of thousands to 100,000 years. It's a model where the temperature slowly drops by one or two degrees over several tens of thousands of years. This model cannot explain the sudden freezing of mammoths in Alaska. The timescale just doesn't match up.
The second suspect is a super volcanic eruption. Volcanic eruptions release massive amounts of sulfur dioxide into the stratosphere, forming aerosols, like a huge parasol blocking the sun. Clive Oppenheimer, a volcanologist at the University of Cambridge, shocked the world with his 2011 book Eruptions that Shook the World, detailed the winter effects of this volcano. One of the most famous cases in history was the eruption of Mount Tambora in Indonesia in 1815, which directly led to the following year being known as the year without a summer in Europe and North America, resulting in a sudden global temperature drop. But even with such a powerful super volcanic eruption, it can only lower the global average temperature by 0.5-5 degrees for several years and freeze a mammoth weighing several tons from a body temperature of 37 degrees into a popsicle. He's not aiming to lower the temperature by 5 degrees but to create an extreme cold strike of tens of degrees below zero within minutes. So this volcano can't do it either. Suspect eliminated.
The third suspect, known as the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation collapse, abbreviated as AMOC. This is basically a disaster movie, the scientific prototype of The Day After Tomorrow. If a large amount of glacier water instantly rushes into the North Atlantic, changing the salinity of the seawater, it will cut off the ocean conveyor belt that transports heat from the equator to the Arctic. On the east coast of North America, stretching from New Jersey all the way to Florida, in satellite maps of this area, scientists have discovered phenomena that induce intense phobias. Here are about 500,000 elliptical shallow pits of various sizes. The largest one is 10 kilometers long. They are all called the Carolina Bays. In 2006, American nuclear physicist Richard Firestone and his team, in the book 'Cycles of Cosmic Catastrophes', detailed the explanation of these shallow pits. The most terrifying geometric features. 12,900 years ago, a massive comet or a group of comets traveling at supersonic speeds of tens of kilometers per second heading towards North America. But instead of hitting hard rock, they struck a two-kilometer-thick ice sheet. And this ice sheet acted as a cushion for the Earth. Later, due to climate change, the meteorite craters on this ice layer melted into water, vanished without a trace. But the impact created lasting effects. At the moment when the meteorite hit the ice cap, billions of tons of ice were instantly blasted into the atmosphere. These ice blocks followed supersonic ballistic trajectories, raining down on the entire continent of America, creating over 500,000 Carolina Bays in an instant. And this was just the beginning of the disaster.
The enormous heat generated by the meteorite impact rapidly melted massive ice caps in a very short period of time. Countless melted ice water roared into the North Atlantic, directly causing the collapse of the North Atlantic current. The heat conveyor belt from the equator to the Arctic was directly cut off. At the same time, endless dust lifted by the comet impact, mixed with evaporated and recondensed ice crystals, covered the sunlight over the entire Northern Hemisphere. The winter of impact, combined with the collapse of the current, two effects overlapped. Over 12,900 years ago, large animals in North America were almost simultaneously wiped out: mammoths, saber-toothed tigers, giant ground sloths, American wild horses, American camels. Approximately 35 large mammals went extinct in a collective event. While at the same time, one of the earliest human cultures in North America, known as the Clovis culture, suddenly disappeared from the archaeological records. The scene at that time might have been: these mammoths were grazing on the grasslands, feeding on the golden flowers, along with the Clovis hunters who hunted the North American saber-toothed tigers. They didn't have time to look up. They were instantly frozen to the ground by a sudden and extreme cold.
