I talk to the message when you have a revelation. When you have a revelation or a strong intuition that something is wrong, the world intuition has to do with the ability to know something by using your feelings rather than considering the facts. The ability to know something by using your feelings rather than considering the facts. For instance, experienced detectives consistently work with their intuition. And those with some measure of grace, talent in this realm naturally will excel with good training and quality exposure. Will excel in certain fields of life where this is very relevant.
It also has to do with a strong feeling that something is true, although you cannot explain why. Or on the other hand, you could also imply a strong feeling that something is not true. Something is not true, although you cannot explain why. So as you go in life, a time will come when the Holy Spirit will speak to you and tell you that something is wrong. Something is wrong. A time will come when you will have a very strong intuition, strong feelings that something is wrong. Something is wrong.
That takes us to some bible instances, and we begin with our main text for the day, which is from Jonah chapter 1, verse 1 to 17. Please open to the book of Jonah chapter 1, verse 1 to 17. I will read from the Easy to Read Version of the Bible. He said, "The Lord." Jonah chapter 1, verse 1 to 17. "The Lord spoke to Jonah, son of Amittai. Nineveh is a big city. I've heard about the many evil things that people are doing there. So go there and tell them to stop doing such evil things."
But Jonah tried to run away from the Lord. He went to Joppa and found a boat that was going to the far away city of Tarshish. Jonah paid money for the trip and went on the boat. He wanted to travel with the people on this boat to Tarshish and run away from the Lord. But the Lord brought a great storm on the sea. The wind made the sea very rough.
There are people going through storms right now, and unknown to them, there is a secret behind a storm that they are not currently aware of. There are some people going through a very rough time in an area of their life right now, and unknown to them, the real reason behind the rough times they are having is to date unknown to them. The storm was very strong, and the boat was ready to break apart. The men wanted to make the boat lighter to stop it from sinking. You will not sink in Jesus' name. You will not crash in Jesus' name.
That good thing in your life will not go down in the name of Jesus. But when you see things moving in that direction, things gradually going down, almost closing up, almost crashing, sometimes, not all the time, sometimes something is wrong. Something is wrong. The men wanted to make the boat lighter to stop it from sinking, so they began throwing the cargo into the sea. The sailors were very afraid. Each man began praying to his god. Jonah had gone down into the boat to lie down, and he went to sleep.
The captain of the boat saw Jonah and said, "Wake up! Why are you sleeping? Pray to your god. Maybe your god will hear your prayer and save us." Then the men said to each other, "This was a turning point. We should throw lots to find out why this is happening to us. Something is wrong. Let us inquire. Let us investigate." For them, he said, "Let us throw lots to find out why this is happening to any us." That you need to know, any secret that your family needs to know in order for things to move forward smoothly, may the Lord reveal it now in the name of Jesus. Let us find out why. God will reveal to you why that storm is raging. God will reveal to you why nobody has made it to that particular level, despite some even having all it takes.
So the men threw lots, and the Lord showed that the troubles, the troubles came to them. And these were people who had no relationship with Jonah. They were not even related to him. They were not friends with him. In fact, they just met him for the first time that day, and then there was serious trouble. But that trouble affected not just the person behind the trouble that caused the trouble, it affected everyone that was on the same platform with him. Sometimes it can be a family. Sometimes it can be an entire tribe, as we saw happen to Israel. There were battles they could have won easily, and they lost willfully. And when it was investigated, they discovered that someone within them had committed an abominable sin, and that was the root cause of the shocking defeat that they had.
So the Lord showed that the troubles came to them because of Jonah. God will show you why things have not yet worked out well in that area of your life, in the name of Jesus. Then the men said to Jonah, "It's it is your fault that this terrible thing is happening to us. Tell us, what have you done?" Now, we, we thank God that in this instance, the result of the investigation was correct. But I want you to be aware that there is a dimension of spiritual manipulation where the real people behind a very evil or wicked act that has been carried out will intentionally use the identity, the face of an innocent person.
There are instances where someone has been assassinated, someone has died a strange death, and maybe the person himself and the family comes from, you know, a fetish background. And so it's obvious to them that the family will certainly investigate spiritually who is behind the death of their son or daughter. You know what they do? They activate some dimensions of spiritual manipulations which will make the spirits they consult point to another person. And sometimes they do it with intelligence. They will, that other person will be someone that is, you know, is not in good terms with the person that has been killed. So it is easy for the family to believe that, oh yes, it could have been this particular person. They never, they had issues, they had different things. And then from that moment, what they told Jonah here will be, you know, will be directed at an innocent person, while the real culprit will could even be in the midst of this whole thing, watching everything going on and joining them to condemn the innocent person. I pray you will never be framed up. I pray you will never be set up. I pray you will never suffer for what you have not done, in the name of Jesus.
He said, "It is your fault that this terrible thing is happening to us. Tell us, what have you done? What is your job? Where do you come from? What is your country? Who are your people?" Because they recognized that, you know, they are bad people, and bad people buy tickets on their ship or boat every day to travel. Oh, is this man so bad that the repercussion of whatever he has done, you know, is attracting such a near-death experience for everyone on the boat? Jonah said to them, "I'm a Hebrew. I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the land and the sea." Jonah told the men he was running away from the Lord. The men became very afraid when they learned this. They asked Jonah, "What terrible thing did you do against your God?"
The wind and the waves of the sea were becoming stronger and stronger. So the men said to Jonah, "What should we do to save ourselves?" Jonah said to them, "I know I did wrong. That is why the storm came on the sea. The secret behind that storm in your family, that storm in your life, the Lord revealed it once and for all, and the Lord provides a solution. Direct you to the solution. So listen carefully because the Spirit of God will be speaking to you as you are listening to this message." He said, "So throw me into the sea, and the sea will become calm." Can you see the solution? If we are to go by sentiments, if we had to go by emotional sentiment, we will not embrace the solution to some of these issues. We will not embrace it. If they throw him into the sea, what would happen? He would die. And Jonah was telling them that the solution was to throw him into the sea, which evidently many would die. Nobody knew that God was going to arrange a big fish to actually swallow him. That happened. Even Jonah was not aware God was going to surprise everyone and do that. But this was the solution, or else something more terrible would have happened beyond the great storm that was already raging.
So instead, the men tried to row the ship back to the shore, but they couldn't do it. So instead of you making further attempts to stop the storm by your human strength, why don't you pray and let God show you the secret behind the storm? Instead of trying to fight the storm, overcome the storm with your human strength, because surprisingly, the more you put in effort, the smaller the situation gets worse. They tried to, but they could not. They couldn't do it because there is a powerful force behind the storm. There is a powerful force behind the storm. The wind and the waves of the sea were too strong. Can you see that? And they were becoming stronger and stronger. So the earlier you find that the secret behind the storm, the best solution to stop the storm, the better. The earlier, the better.
So the men cried to the Lord, "Lord, please don't say we are guilty of killing an innocent man. Please don't make us die for killing him. We know you are the Lord, and you will do whatever you want." So the men threw Jonah into the sea. It appeared to be a very callous action. It appeared to be a very callous action, but that was the best decision to stop the storm. That was the best decision to stop this storm. So they threw Jonah into the sea, and the moment they threw him into the sea, the moment they took that difficult decision, the storm stopped. Whatever step that is right in the eyes of God that you or your family needs to take for that storm that is raging against you or your loved one or family to stop, the Lord Almighty show you the way forward in the name of Jesus.
The moment they threw Jonah into the sea, the storm stopped. The storm stopped. May you do what God is expecting you to do. The storm stopped. The storm stopped. Your own storm will stop. The sea became calm. The sea became calm. So very soon, all will be well. But there's something that must be done, and done right, and done on time. And then once it is done, all will be well. And for some of you, there will even be a restoration of some of the things that were affected as long as the storm was on. So when the men saw this, they began to fear and respect the Lord. They offered sacrifices and made special promises to the Lord. When Jonah fell into the sea, the Lord chose a very big fish to swallow Jonah. He was in the stomach of the fish for three days and three nights. Praise ye the Lord. Praise hear the Lord.
So when God wants to handle different people and different cases, he knows what to do. He knows what to do. You don't have to dictate to him how he would do it. If he wants to stop a man, if he wants to stop a man, if he wants to stop a leader, stop a government from doing something that he has irreversibly said must not be done, God knows what to do. He knows what to do. Another instance was in 2 Samuel. 2 Samuel chapter 21, verse 1 to 3. Say it again, there will be peace. There will be healing. There will be forgiveness. There will be restoration for those who will quickly do the need for, who will quickly do the need for. He that covered his sin shall not prosper.
As long as that particular thing is covered. But whosoever confesses and forsakes them shall have mercy. 2 Kings chapter 2, verse 18 to 22. You see another instance in 2 Kings chapter 2, verse 18 to 22. You could see how the elders of Jericho had to table before the prophet Elijah the with this strange problem they were having. They were blessed with the river of Jericho, which was supposed to be a big blessing to the community, but because of a curse, a curse, a curse that God himself endorsed, what was supposed to be a blessing to the people became a problem to the people. So in verse 19, the men of the city said to Elijah, "Sir, you can see this city is in in a nice place, but the water is bad. The river is bad. That is why the land cannot grow crops." I pray for someone listening right now that whatever is that powerful reason or factor that is the serial secret behind your persistent challenge, the Lord intervene and overturn it in the name of Jesus. Let heaven hear your amen. Say another amen for your family.
He said, "That is why the land cannot grow crops. That is why." Now, God will open your eyes to see why. Why, why, why? That is why the genesis of the problem of some of you listening to me right now is that there has been a swap. There has been a swap. Something ordained for you, something that should have been given to you, has been swapped in benefit of another person. Swapped and taken over by another person. But from today, this moment, there is a countdown for the restoration of what you have been denied of. There is a countdown for the return of what was taken away from you, in the name of Jesus. And so, by the move of the grace of God, the Spirit of God, the wisdom of God, it will be recognized in the right quarters that what belongs to you should actually be given to you now. Whatever belongs to you that has been diverted, the Lord Almighty will restore it back to you now, in the name of Jesus.
And the last one was Genesis 27, 21-24. Genesis 27, 21-24. Isaac sensed that something was wrong. He sensed that something was wrong. Did he pray? Did he pray to God? There's no. You can, no, you could see all everything that happened here between when he blessed Jacob and when, you know, he expressed his concern that, "This, this sounds like the, this is the voice of Jacob, but you know, it's like the hand of Esau." Between that point and when he now took action, there's no record that he prayed. And Isaac asked of the Lord, like you read about David, and Isaac inquired of the Lord, or you hear that. And Isaac hesitated because there are times where you need to put that transaction on hold. Put it on hold. When you have a strong feeling that something is not right here, put it on delay it.
So when you have a strong feeling that something is wrong, there's a time to slow down. That's a time to investigate. Sometimes it could be when you are experiencing symptoms of an illness, and at the same time, the physical test is indicating that there is no problem. But even though that is the lab result, the symptoms are manifesting. So something is wrong. There will be times when you cannot detect fraud. There's no, there's no sign of fraud. There's no proof of fraud, but you have a very strong feeling that the total sum, either of revenue or income or profit, ought to be more than what is being declared or what has been declared. You just have that strong feeling. All that glitters is not gold. All that glitters is not good.
So when there are times when something will be packaged and presented to you as gold, but you have a strong feeling that this is not gold. This is not real gold. Your sight is at conflict with your intuition. Your eyes are telling you this is gold, but your feeling is telling you this is not real gold. So there are times you have a strong conviction that something has gone amiss. Something is going on. In cases of missing money, your money will just disappear. Missing ring, your ring will just disappear. Then you buy another one, the ring disappears again. Something is wrong. A personal effect will just disappear. And some, sometimes if it is nothing to worry about, you will not get a signal. But when your spirit keeps on reminding you about one particular person, a trouser, a slipper, that God missing, perhaps something sinister has been done with that thing. That is why the spirit is raising a red flag to your spirit. It could happen in the realms of some strange dreams. You sleep and you have sexual intercourse in the dream, and then by the time you wake up, you see, you see, you see physical evidence. Physical evidence that should happen only for someone who has actual physical sexual intercourse. You see it when you wake up, and it's still there. Something is wrong.
For some people, it's physical marks. How can you wake up and you see some clear marks on your, on your path, some parts of your body? How could that have happened? Something is wrong. Something has happened. For some of you or your loved ones, incomprehensible results, incomprehensible failure, incomprehensible losses. How can you know? Even though we will lose, how can we lose with this kind of magic? Well, in any way in life where your achievement is being watered down, it's been diverted and credited to someone else, from today God intervenes to correct it in the name of Jesus. Near success syndrome. Somebody said near success syndrome is another major issue. When something is wrong, everything will look as if the transaction is done, but from nowhere, you will just hear one funny story. Either they postponed it, or there is a delay, and then before you know it, it becomes another story. At the end of the day, what should have come to you does not come to you. Whatever is wrong in that area of your life, the Lord will intervene.
