Best Awoken Characters to Use in Grand Summoners

Now, on this channel, we focus a lot on ascended characters. However, for a lot of you new players joining the game, it's really hard to ascend a character right out the gate. So, in most situations, your ascended units are probably just going to be left at the awoken state for quite a while, which can leave a sour taste in your mouth cuz you're like, man, I just want my unit all the way maxed out. I want to do all the cool stuff that everyone else is doing.

Well, have you ever thought about using these guys? I know, I know it's a scary site, but listen, listen. I'm going to show you how powerful some of these units still are. Everybody who I'm going to be having in this list is going to be a GSP specific character. We aren't including crossovers in this. And the reason for that is because if you're coming into this game as a brand new player, these awoken crossover characters that are really good like Rimmeru or Macco, you never had a chance to get them. But for GS original characters, you will eventually have a chance to get them cuz they're going to rerun on banner. They always do.

Now, I know some of you guys are like OP, there's no way you're starting this list off recommending the boy Reyes. Listen, if you have a team that is mostly physical damage dealers and you just need one more character to round it out, throwing Ray in there is not a bad option. I wouldn't really focus so much on his damage cuz his damage is very lackluster. But he does have some pretty solid buffs that can be very useful for you. Once he's in the X Force mode, you're able to utilize stuff like his art, giving everybody a barrier and also healing everyone on the team with a max HP buff. Super art is going to be able to buff up physical damage by up to 120%. His slots aren't too bad either. He has a fivestar defense and a four-star heal. I would say that if you are planning on using him though, I would highly recommend that you do get Grand Scale, the true weapon for him since it does give him 100 archae out the gate. It makes him faster and utilizing him with other characters is going to be really good.

Light Cina, my goat. This is a healer style character that is all about utilizing her super equip, which she gets access to by using her true art. Byestina's whole gimmick is being able to buff up physical damage for the entire team using her true art. So, she gets access to her super equip and then spamming her equip over and over and over to be able to heal your allies and reduce the enemy's physical res by 5% every 2 seconds. And by the way, this baby is stackable. She has insanely good slots as well, being able to have that fivestar support and four star defense. And truly, she is a unit that if you ever need a healer, just use her. Like, there's no reason not to. If you do wind up getting this character though, you can get her true weapon. And her true weapon is pretty solid. However, if you don't want to get her true weapon, another equip that's actually really good on her is Freed's true weapon, Sig Freed. The reason why is because its passive is able to buff up art's damage by 20%, but if the user is a god, you get increased equipment CT recovery by 20%.

Earth is still very strong in the game and is mainly used as just a healer now, more so than anything else. He does have other stuff in the kit that is very vital to most teams, like Arc Gauge, and he has a little bit of a damage buff in the kit thanks to his art. You can get this guy from so many things now, like the forever summon, from random banners that he's on that if you ever see him and you don't have him, he's always worth the pickup. Literally, you can build an entire team around him being one of the main pillars in your team comp as his support is just a tiny bit worse than some of the best support units in the game.

Now, fire Orville, unlike light cina, is all about buffing up damage and equip damage, which may be like, "Oh, equip damage, that sucks. That doesn't seem like a good benefit at all." Well, just like Cina, Orveil is a unit that relies on a super equip. Once you utilize Orville's true art, not only does it give you the super equip, it buffs up magic damage for the entire team, and it buffs up his own attack by 100%. You're able to have a equip that's able to buff up critical damage for you by 30% every time you use it. Not to mention, he's a very self-sufficient attacker, meaning that you don't really have to buff him up too much at all. Just give him some arc gauge and he's going to be good. Because if he's above 80% HP, he gets 100% crit rate and three arts per second. And if you really want to go all the way with Orville, pick up his true weapon. His true weapon is gonna be a very nice damage buff for yourself.

Tojo Mizuki was one of the most broken characters ever whenever he released. So, it's not surprising that he's still standing the test of time. He has really good archin and a very good arch gen typing being type F, aka the conditional art gauge group. So, he's able to stack with a multitude of characters in the game. He also has a very unique passive that once you activate third eye, everybody on your team gets 100 arch gauge just like that. If that wasn't enough for you, his art is also able to cleanse all status elements in the game except faint and he buffs up everybody's status element res by 100%. Really, if this guy has just been sitting on your box and you haven't been using him, put him on your team, awaken him, use him. It's going to be like a night and day difference. The one thing I will highly recommend though is getting 12th generation Mazizuki's true weapon. Be careful not to select the other Mizuki's true weapon here since there are two Mizuki's in the game. But get this true weapon right here. Mizuki's all about getting into his third eye as quickly as possible. And this true weapon just helps him do it. He starts the quest with 100 archage. So you just have to worry about getting an extra 100. Once he's in that 200 archage, you pop his true art. Boom. Everybody has 100 Archage.

The Miranda VoltlR. I'm going to be talking about all these guys unanimously. If you ever need to tank anything in this game and you need a taunt tank to do it, picking any of these three are going to be insanely good at it. Thetus is a little bit of a slower taunt tank since he has to activate magia dry before he's able to really start tanking like that. Miranda is more of your magic res taunt tank, but even with that being said, you can use her in fights where there's a physical damage boss. Just know she's not going to have as much DR. Ever fight a physical boss, you use voltr and you go crazy on them.

Emperor. This Emperor is still insanely strong. The only time I wouldn't recommend that you guys go for this emperor is that if you have the ascended variant BF emperor because they can't really work together. However, regular emperor is still a great unit to have. He has tons of arch generation for your team thanks to his true art. He's able to buff up everybody's stats which is a pseudo heal and depending on what slot you have him in, he gets a massive damage buff towards a certain race. Not to mention as well if you need like a DR buff for the entire team or an accuracy buff or whatever the case may be depending on what position you have Emperor in, he can give you that.

Next is Oreliable, the workhorse of the Awoken era, Sandstone. Sandstone is a unit that isn't going to be doing any type of flashy damage. She's not going to be doing anything crazy, but this unit will make sure you do not die. If you get her true weapon, it gives her tons of equipment CT and max HP. And then you're able to utilize any other fivestar defense item that you want to use on her. You press your chew art. You maybe use your art here and there just to have a barrier though. But you mainly are pressing your chew art to get the 30% DR for everybody and the 20% crit res. I really cannot stress how good this still is to nowadays standards. I know a lot of you newer players may see people use like Beta or Shurou or whoever else to be able to tank some of the hardest hits in the game. Well, Beta's DR is 40%. Shurou's DR is 30%. Sandstone's DR is 30%. These type of damage mitigation tanks don't really ever fall off because the DR buff that they're giving doesn't really ever change. Sandstone though or reliable, incredible unit. If you use her, just make sure you use her true art. Go into that art every now and again just to have that barrier. Damage mitigation is always so much better if you have a barrier. And just kind of do that. Make sure you use your defense equips and you're golden against so many fights in the game. Sandstone is going to hard carry your account.

Earth Fin though is all reliable. If you need another support unit on your team, you could use Finn. He's a very unique archen type, which is type A, meaning that he stacks with everybody in the game apart from Finn and Lozi. I don't know why Lo's here, but he just is in this group for some reason. Not only is this Finn really good at just supplying your team with art generation, he also has an equipment CT buff that he's able to use on his art. And making your equipss go faster is never a bad thing. And one of the other big benefits about this man Finn is that you can get him at any point in the game. Just by logging in, you get a character ticket. Use the character ticket in the town at the Alchemist. Exchange for Earth Fin. There you go. You have Earth Fin at your disposal. A lot of the characters that I've actually mentioned on this list are from that ticket, by the way. So, if you ever need someone else, another support unit just to kind of help round out the team, go with Earth Fin.

And ladies and gentlemen, that's actually it for my recommended Awoken character list. This isn't all the Awoken characters that are really good, though. There are so many other Awoken characters that have their uses and their roles at specific parts in the game. But this list right here should help you get through majority of the content in the game and have a good amount of units to look out for if you ever see them. It's always good to go for any of them. Like I just said though, don't take this as the only units to go for. Just a few recommendations. There's a lot of good awoken characters. And if you're ever curious about an Awoken character on a certain banner, you can always check out my should you summons. If there's anybody notable, I usually say something in the videos.

Either way though, that's going to be it for this one. Thank you all so much for hanging out. It's been your boy OP. If you enjoyed this video, I highly recommend check out this video popping on screen right now. Great piece of content. If you're interested in that, I'll meet you over there. Oh, and one more thing before you leave. Don't forget to drink water.
